What everyone forgot was that Wei Wuxian was wearing the standard issue body camera that each cultivator wore on training missions and high-risk night-hunts. Struggling to make ends meet, Wei Wuxian finds his way to Caiyi Town with the doctor who performed the surgery, a partial core still secretly in place. His application to work at Cloud Recesses is summarily rejected by the hard-edged Second Jade of Lan after an unfortunate initial encounter. But things change when someone hacks into the Jiang systems and releases the footage of what happened. Kay's comments: The series is still a WIP, but the main story is complete! I am so weak for Kizu's modern AUs with cultivation, they are great. Especially the world building and how the cultivation society might function in a modern AU shines in this story. Definitely not a story for fans of the Jiang family, but a story for everyone who wants to see some retribution for the things Wei Wuxian went through. Here, Jiang Fengmian dies during a night-hunt accident where Jiang Cheng's golden core gets destroyed and Madam Yu makes Wei Wuxian give his golden core to him, unfortunately for her, his body-cam is still filming everything. Wei Wuxian finds himself taken in by Wen Qing and her family and we get the sweetest found family and Dadxian vibes here and then meets Lan Wangji as well, who's highly judgemental at first but soon finds himself drawn to Wei Wuxian as well. This story really got it all, the drama, the horny, the softness, the restitution & humor. Excerpt: Still Wei Wuxian forced himself to at least try one last time. “You could also interview me. Have me talk to your best talisman experts,” Wei Wuxian said, forcing himself to keep the desperation out of his voice. “Interviews are scheduled based on receipt of proper credentials and references.” “I don’t have any, at least not right now. But that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t be a great teacher.” “No references, no interview.” “Come on. Look, ask me anything about talismans. You’re an experienced cultivator, right? So you must know enough to at least interview me to see if I know what I’m talking about.” “Simply ‘knowing about something’ is not sufficient. Our lecturers are renown cultivators, and masters in their fields. No references, no interview.” Wei Wuxian felt frustration well up in him, especially at the reminder that Lan Wangji didn’t see him as a cultivator. No one would, in his current condition. He thought he had done a good job of not getting his hopes up about the teaching position, but the suffocating feeling constricting his chest was calling him out for being a liar. Because it would be impossible for someone who wasn’t born to the fucking clan nobility to ever actually be good at something, and the cost of taking the mastery test makes sure that other people can’t do it!” Lan Wangji’s lips parted slightly, like he might say something, but his expression was as opaque and emotionless as before. Wei Wuxian didn’t need to sit around and listen to him defend the clan system. “Good to know that the Lan are just the same as all the other sects,” Wei Wuxian continued, his lips twisting into a sarcastic smile. “Thanks for making that clear.”

I am requesting an emotionally angsty fic. Kind of based on the vibe of the last part of Mama's Boy by Dominic Fike.

💙when hobie got dragged to spider society, he didn't like it

🩵his life was already a mess, being a spider(and keeping it a secret) , in a band, his living conditions, he didn't need for more people to order him around and making him filling up report after every mission (miguel), he already had enough

💙so he was so very rude to everyone, which made people avoid hin and rank him with miguel in "people to not talk to" list

🩵except you, you were one of the older members in the spider society(in age and in how long you've been working), and saw right through him

💙so you just tried getting closer to him, which got weird looks from others, but you didn't care

🩵he'd be rude and push you away, but you sticked to your goal and kept trying to get closer to him

💙seeing you so determined and kind to him, made him a little softer towards you

~"hey hobie! " you walked towards his table, two lunch plates in hand

His narrowed eyes snapped to you, frowning even more "what do you want?!"

You smiled "i want to have lunch with you" you passed him his plate and set yours down

"whatever" he rolled his eyes getting up and leaving.

Sighing, you watched him leave.

"you know he's not gonna befriend you, right?" peter said, plate in hand as he sat down beside you

"he'll open up eventually" you replied, popping some of your food in your mouth

"if you say so" he shook his head

"choose you partner and then you're free to go on the mission, be quick" miguel told you

"got it boss!" you said turning on your heel and leaving his office hearing the door closing behind you as you tapped on you watch, calling hobie

He picked up at on the seventh ring, his face appearing on the screen, snarling at you

"what you want!?" he snapped

You smiled "i have a two people mission, come on quickly! Or miguel is gonna have my head" you laughed

"why me?!" he argued, eyebrows forrowing even more

"because you're one of the best i know, and i like how you fight" you reasoned

Even if you saw his eyes widening a bit, you pretended you didn't

His frown relaxed into a grumpy look "fine" he grumbled, standing up

The line was cut after, and you almost jumped in giddiness at him agreeing to your ask.

' progress!' You thought as you walked to the gate of HQ

"Hobie! I'm going to cafe across the street, want something? "

His eyes snapped from his guitar into you, clearly taken aback by the the question

"what?- um- just-" He sputtered,then took a deep breath "just get me whatever you're getting" he answered, looking away

"ok! See ya!"

He pretended that the constant checking for time was because he wanted his drink and not so he can spot if you stayed for too long and were in danger

You were sitting reading your book when hobie flobbed himself down beside you with his headphones on his ears, and he put his, rather old music listening device on the table

"hi" you said, eyes moving to study the device

You opened your mouth to ask about ot whem you saw hobie eyeing you with a glare that screamed "comment on it, i dare you"

You sealed your lips together and held in a lil giggle

You told him your favorite song after some time

And pretended to forget that you did so when you heard him humming it and he said "everyone knows it"

"Look!" you yelled to hobie, a kitten on hand

You two were done with a mission and just helping civilians around when you found a little, fluffy, gray kitten and decided to show hobie

He turned his head where you were and saw the cute fluff ball you were holding

He gave it a little thought but then came to you, getting on eye level with the cat and gave it a few pets and then

🩵that's how you n hobie became friends- sorta

💙it was a very slow process, but thats fine

🩵you were older than him so it kinda became a mother/son relationship, you loved it

💙Slowly but surely he'd start the conversation, he'll sit beside you instead of leaning on the wall in the far back in meetings, he'd share his music with you, maybe play you your favorite songs on his guitar

🩵but he'd always is stressed, and never talks about his feelings

💙you'd always tell him that you're here for him and that he can tell you anything, he never does tho

🩵until one night when you heard knocking on your door

You opened the door confused on how did the pizza come so fast

"this have to be a rec-Hobie! What happened?!" you asked worried

He was a mess, his body shaking with silent sobs, tears a waterfall from his as he looked down

"i don't have anyone else to go to" he mumbled, trying to keep his sobs quiet..

"oh my god come here" you reached out dragging him into you, one arm embracing him, the other following suit after shutting the door

His hand shot to your shirt, grabbing it for dear life, burrying his face in your chest

"Do you want to talk about it? " you asked

He nodded, another sob making his body shake

"alright, let's go to the couch then" you adviced, pulling him gently to the sofa, he let you do that with ease, he never did that, there has to be atleast some resistance from him, it worried you even more

And he did, he told everything, how he was basically homeless if not for the little boat he lives in, how his life is getting too busy with the spider society, his band, him being a spider and how he can't draw a line to it how it all blurred together and it's making his head hurt

He cried and sobbed and your shoulder, and you let him, you held him and patted his back

you ignored the pizza delivery when it arrived because he was half asleep in your hold

You slept ob the couch that night, giving him your bed

He made you breakfast the next morning, as a thank you he said, but you told him that there's nothing to be thankful for, Hugging him once more

And if he didn't notice, you teared up when he said "thanks, mom" when he broke the hug to go back to cooking..

💙needless to say that you had a talk during breakfast, giving him solutions for his problems, one of which was to move in with you, he obviously refused at first, but you were determined, he gave up and told you that he'd think about it

🩵you had a talk with miguel and you told him that hobie isn't reporting after missions, which almost turned into an argument if not for you leveling him with a glare and telling him that if you found out that he didn't tell hobie to stop writing reports, you'd deal with him your way, that made miguel quiet and agree.

💙just as you are protective of hobie, hobie is protective of you, he beat up some spider person just because he heard them talking shit about you

He did move in with you, but kept tip-toeing around the house, to which you had a serious talk to about how he was welcome over cookies.

🩵he's called mom by mistake lots now, he doesn't notice often, but when he does and tries to apologize you'd have none of it

💙he'd start to open up to other too, which scared them but they got used to it with time and he made friends, and you werd so happy and proud of him

🩵you attend all his concerts now, which used to worry him, because they weren't the most family friendly places to be, but you didnt mind, and actually supported him every step of the way

This turned out way longer then planned but i loved writing it sm, next is probably going to be a miguel request (of i don't get distracted by hobie again)

Summary: My Headcanons for sharing a bed with Amit and Andrew!

Amit:

Was extremely taken aback when you asked him if you two could start sharing a bed. Probably started to sweat to be honest.

Was very hesitant before eventually giving in.

Although for the first little while he made it very clear that he had his side of the bed. It wasn’t anything personal, it just made it easier for him.

But one morning, he woke up with you right up against him but instead of him moving away he found out he actually enjoyed it.

You were honestly confused for the next couple of nights as to why he seemed so cuddly after that.

But he was an only child with working parents so affection didn’t come naturally. So when he discovered it he loved it.

Will quite literally sleep in any position with you as long as you guys are touching in some way.

Literally the cutest boy. ..

Andrew:

Honestly probably the most casual about it out of all the boys.

You two have been committed to each other for quite some time, you trust each other, and everything is fine so, why not?

You two sleep together in this sort of intertwined position. You just like being close to one another and it gives you the best sleep.

He's a sucker for laying his head on your chest and hearing your heartbeat. It's just so comforting.

Although he doesn’t give me morning-person vibes so have fun getting him out of bed in the morning.

He probably stays up late studying. But when he’s super tired from it he’s out like a light.

He also has pretty bad bed-head so that’s always a cute sight to wake up to in the morning.

And when you’re not there he’s definitely hugging the pillow to his chest. ..

Decided to make a part 2, didn't expect the first one to get more than, like, 50 notes 😅

Based on just my personal experience, might not be true for everyone! ᵔᴗᵔ

┊ ˚➶ ｡˚ Contrary to the stereotypes, I don't think I've ever met a two faced Gemini. They honestly seem pretty cool people, they have so many friends and they just know how to communicate, you know? Their relationship with their partner looks really wholesome to outsiders too (but could be just me viewing it this way, lol). If anything, I think they just stand out more, which makes it a bit more difficult to approach them. 🤷‍♀️

┊ ˚➶ ｡˚ Gemini sun girls also have something aesthetic about them, like my cousin has a nice academia aesthetic going on in her life and a classmate from uni has this high-end fashion sense, she looks really pretty everytime (For some reason, when I think of Geminis, I'm envisioning luxury parties with champagne and brands like YSL and Louis Vuitton, that's the vibe I get) ✨

┊ ˚➶ ｡˚ People with Sagittarius in their big three (sun, moon, rising) are some of the most outgoing people I know. They have so many connections and, once their schedule allows it, they start planning coffee dates, hangouts with their friends, clubbing etc. A friend of mine can literally NOT stay at home the entire day, he just HAS to go out or meet up with people for at least 2-3 hours. 🏙️

┊ ˚➶ ｡˚ To the fellas with Moon opposition Neptune; How do you guys deal with moments in life that don't live up to your expectations? You know, when your imagination goes wild and has a very idealistic scenario of a certain situation, only for it to happen in a much different way and lowkey dissapoints you? Also, do you have dreams that kind of warn you or prepare you for something that will take place in the future? Because I feel like we kind of build our own world and the universe has to remind us that life isn't always perfect, lol 💭

┊ ˚➶ ｡˚ My dear Aquarians, why the pessimism? Rather than overthinking everything and imagining the worst scenarios possible, how about you try focusing more on positive things? Even if it's just something small each time, it helps you view your daily life in a better light :)

┊ ˚➶ ｡˚ Speaking of Aquas, I've noticed that most of you guys also don't really like being alone for too long. Sure, you want to have your me time (it's fine, we all do) but you also can't stand not having company around. Like, you'll randomly decide to stay in and spend some time alone but then you'll get upset and start calling your friends and family. A friend of mine cannot stand being alone for too long, even if we spend the whole day together, he hates being home on his own, to the point where he sometimes straight up takes the bus back to his hometown. It's wonderful that you enjoy spending so much time with others (I could never, lolll) but try picking up a hobby when you don't have the chance to be around people as much. It'll kind of distract you from loneliness and give you the chance to have some quality time with yourself 🧩

Edit: Bonus Observations

So a lot of you guys commented that Aquarius actually prefers solitude and could easily pass time all by themselves, so I looked into the charts of the social Aquas I know irl and see what it is that makes them so outgoing and talkative;

(I didn't include houses because I haven't gotten to confirm their birth times)

• My friend has Saturn in Gemini, which can make people talkative in any situation (I also have this placement and, although I see myself as an introverted homebody, I am surprisingly pretty chatty and enjoy going out with people that make me happy). Truly, he always gives something to talk about with everyone he knows, sometimes he'll start a conversation with another friend of his while I'm standing there not knowing what to say or do in the meantime, like 🧍‍♀️?

• He also has Mars in Sagittarius and Jupiter in Leo; energetic, lively and outgoing, thrives when surrounded by people. He almost never gets tired of hanging out with people, my low social battery could never 😅

• Other than her sun, my mom also has Aquarius in her Mercury, which makes her friendly and likeable, plus she enjoys conversing with people.

• Another thing about my mom, her placements are a bit contradictory; She has Sun in Aquarius, Moon in Virgo, and Uranus and Pluto in Libra - These indicate shyness, independence and introversion. Truly, she prefers doing things on her own most of the time and doesn't open up to just anyone. She also used to be very shy around my age (probably because of Virgo moon?). However, she also has Jupiter and Neptune in Sagittarius, which make her more adventurous, outgoing, charming and humorous. So that would probably explain this whole 'outgoing yet independent yet still can't be lonely' vibe she gives me.
