A Interview with Alex Hirsch Update!!

Editing for An Interview with Alex Hirsch is nearly done! @fordtato and I still have a bit more work to do due to various external obligations we've had to take care of first (I mean, I'm in my last semester so I think you can guess how busy right now is for me, lol). Our hope is to announce a release date very soon. We obviously don't wanna rush things and announce one just yet in case we gotta push it back. So, once we know we're ready to release this, we will make sure you all know.

And the interview is not the only thing coming! I have a behind the scenes video planned after the interview I wanna release, a special video discussing something huge I was able to accomplish with Alex Hirsch that concludes a piece of old GF fandom history and a little goofy thing he told us that fits better in a separate video, lol.

All this will be coming soon! I know the channel has been kinda dry lately but all will come in good time. The GF fandom is in for some really cool new trivia and lore to enjoy until the Book of Bill arrives. Plus, I cannot wait to show off this little thing Alex sent me. I think you all will love it. I sure did :P

✈ PROJECT UPDATES ✈

Hello travelers, we have some updates that we believe you should be aware of! Check them out below.

After much discussion with the mod team, we noticed that once Star became head mod, her involvement and attention to responsibilities declined significantly. Despite expressing confidence in managing zines, she neglected her tasks, became unresponsive, and was absent for over a month despite our multiple attempts to reach her. Eventually, we had to step in and take over her tasks.

To maintain professionalism and respect her privacy, we originally stated she had stepped down from the project due to "personal reasons." Later, we discovered she was planning to host a panel at a convention on "how to run a zine" without fulfilling her mod duties.

We must be transparent about Star's behavior. It's contradictory for her to host a zine panel while neglecting her role as head mod. We don't wish to publicly shame her, but it's vital for others to be aware of her reputation for anyone considering working with her in the future.

As a result, the remaining mod team has collectively decided to eliminate the head mod title, and will instead work together as a unified team to lead the project. Additionally, we are pleased to announce that Jade has been promoted to art mod!

Another point to mention is that Lucy, who previously managed finance and shipping, will now be focusing solely on finance. Therefore, we are in need of a new shipping mod. If you or someone you know is interested in taking on this role, please feel free to send us a DM! We will also be posting a form for Shipping Mod applications shortly, so please stay tuned for that.

We apologize for the delayed communication but hope this clarifies the situation and brings closure. Please rest assured, the project will persevere through these challenges. We remain dedicated to making it the best it can be. Thank you for your understanding and support.🙇

gay ass socks (part 3)

still working away at these badboys! last week was pretty rough so i haven't gotten very far on these (read: i didn't go to any of my lectures and that's mostly where i work on these) but i'm back on track now, hopefully

i knit alllll this...

....and then frogged back to the arrow. whoops. i wasn't sure if i wanted to add calf increases, so i soldiered on without them, but i ended up hating how the stretching made the stripes look narrower, so i'm adding increases this time! did some rough math and i should need about 20 increases spread across 20 stripes, so i'm doing two increases per white stripe

look how tidy they are! and i love the coral sort of color that i'm getting into

next update will hopefully be about how perfectly it fits on my calf this time

I think it's time for a little project update!

I think I've seen the whole range of colors from this yarn now and I'm really loving it! I'm having a lot of fun working on this piece, and I can't wait to make more progress on it. The pattern doesn't come through too well with this fuzzy yarn but I really don't mind. I know it's there, that's all that matters.

I also started a new project because of course I did

I got these yarns for my birthday, and after some deliberation I decided to make a bag with tunisian crochet. The yarn is pretty light weight, so I might have to add a lining eventually. I also enjoy the colors more than I thought I would, and I plan on making one half with this turquoise/orange, and the other half with the purple/blue.

I definitely have a habit of starting way more projects than I finish, but I'm actually pretty excited about both of them. The cardigan has the highest priority for me right now, but it's nice to have a side project that doesn't require as much focus. Obviously there's no pattern to follow, since I'm just using the simple stitch, and even if I make a mistake, it's much easier to fix than with the lace pattern.

Didn't block it yet or add the handles, but this is the perfect size for a bookbag/small shopping bag. For future projects, I think starting from the bottom and working up might work better rather than going top-down.

Overall, I'm pretty happy it ate up a bunch of my scrap yarn and it'll be a useful little gift for my friend the next time I see him. (Can you tell his favorite color is blue?)

BIG UPDATE FOR FEBRUARY!

Just a few hours ago, I put on the finishing touches for Iron Man: War Machine and completed it. LET’S GOOOOOOO!!!!

With that, the fic is done! Unfortunately, it took longer than I expected to finish it… so that means when it comes to the slate going forward, I am going to have to shift things a bit. But this timeframe between now and March gives me a lot of breathing room to change how I write. This is also taking into consideration that I now have to return to college pretty soon after a long break, so I must warn you going forward: I’m going to have less time to work on this stuff.

That’s not gonna stop me, though! 🤪

Here’s the deal for what will happen the next few months:

I am going to write (and post!) the next one-shot starring Phil Coulson: A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor’s Hammer. That will be in the last week of February, and will close out the month — because after this, I will be working on

Widowmaker (at last). I have finished outlining and am ready to write this novella… a very new process for me, because I have little to no reference in the MCU to pull from. I will be flying blind, and that both excites and terrifies me. So I hope above all that I am clever with my characterisations of Black Widow and Hawkeye!

And Thor. Yep! I am to be working on both the novella and this main fic at the same time, so I can start getting a head start between what I write and when I post.

That leads me to the posting schedule — right now, the goal is to publish Widowmaker throughout March once I’ve written enough of it, and write chapters of Thor around the same time. Once Widowmaker is completed on AO3, I will then begin posting Thor… and hopefully by then, be well into that fic.

That’s the plan, everyone. This way, I both become more efficient and able to give you something whenever I am held up by assignments and whatnot… but of course, in the case I can’t deliver, I will update you to let you know. If there is a time where that may happen from now until June, I’d reckon it be around the end of May… but we’ll have to wait and see.

Concerning the quarry(update)

I had previously pondered the inclusion of the quarry in my super massive family tree project and decided against it as the main goal of the project is to make all(or as many as possible) of supermassive's recycled models related to each other.

It started focused on the dark pictures anthology and eventually included the inpatient and hidden agenda because of the shared models and by extension until dawn because of the inpatient and so on but there was no obvious connection in the quarry and if I made unique models related to reused ones it had to be purposeful and not just "these characters are both insert random thing" So when I say was settled on the exclusion of the quarry I mean it was not having to work with a game I don't particularly care for and that was that

All that being said I was looking at the Hackett family tree because it goes back to the time of little hope and with my own family tree project it's good to have an example to look at(some of mine to further back lol)

My reasoning at the time was that with all this material it would be simple to include Hackett side characters in stories set in different eras, I was thinking "oh free names to use for historical OCs in little hope reincarnation cycle fic or stuff otherwise set over a century ago" you feel me? Like I could feel the way I do about the quarry and still do something like that

...but then something unexpected happened

I had previously decided that any Clarke's would be connected to the Clarke family(even jessie Clark the random construction guy from tdim who's last name I'm treating as a typo)

In my preexisting drafts the generation above James Clarke has three brothers but I had always imagined them having a sister/4th sibling and Louisa just slots right in there exactly how I imagined and so just like that the quarry went from not included at all to having around a third of the cast accounted for. I'm not sure I'll actually go ahead and add the whole in game Hackett family to my next draft but at the very least I can make a note off it next to Louisa's name

It's funny because there were other things I was wanting to do that day but this reason to give a damn about the quarry(and not even the main game at that) blew me away and I needed to process it and what this new development means(it means that James Clarke and Jedediah Hackett are first cousins)

I always thought any care for the quarry on my part would come from connecting it with other games and that seems to be true, I can't say if this will translate into me liking the game itself but now I've already got some great crossover stuff that I'm eager to work on that I hope you'll love as much as I do

That all being said I'm not now going to be adding random player characters into the family trees and this is far more than I was prepared to have in my project(not me begrudgingly excepting that I'm going to have to interact with the quarry for these aus I'm excited for 😅)

Hello Friends and Happy Tuesday!

It's been about a month now since the last time I released a general project update, so this week seemed like a good time to share what I've been up to!

I'm excited to share the progress I've been making on my floral Dresden Plate blocks for the Generations Quilt project, my completed bee-themed Ice Cream Soda blocks, and my most recently completed clue for Indigo Way! Sharing more of this skin now that I've gotten more of it done! I got some tabbed forums up and functional for the "locations" or IC areas of the board, and did some board stats that I've become very fond of due to the carousel slides/tabs. (Which, full credit where it's due, I got that idea from another coder who's already put a carousel in their board stats before, so the idea's hardly original to this skin.)

I've been working on a webpage set up for a guidebook of sorts, but I do also need to figure out a layout for the topic rows and the posts for this at the very least. Not to mention the main profile and member rows too - still a long ways to go before it's finished, but god I'm so proud of it so far.
