no one has ever chosen fundy in his life. not sally. not eret. not wilbur. not dream. not philza. all his life he’s been thrown to the side or is only second to something else—power for eret, technoblade for philza, and l’manberg for wilbur.

and ranboo comes along and says he’s always going to choose people and fundy must be elated because for once he’s not going to be tossed aside. but all ranboo did wasn’t choose people—he became a bystander.

tommy's character gets far too much shit.

hi tumblr. i'm gonna need a few bitches to spread this post everywhere, essentially because i want someone, or just tommy really, to see it. so if you really want, you can screenshot it and post it on twitter, reddit, link it everywhere - go absolutely buck wild. i know he reads the VODS comments a lot, but they're chock full of people just insulting him, his character, his writing and everything about his story in the dream smp simply because they don't understand it and because they refuse to acknowledge his character's perspective (mainly because they only care about the pig). reading that many critical comments on something you've created can only make you feel worse about it eventually, and in light of all the awful techno apologist takes on his character, i wanted to basically just word vomit about how wonderfully crafted c!tommy is, as well as compile some other tumblr posts about his character.

there is a massive fuckin community of people who enjoy the character of tommy, because the character is incredible. i myself have made post after post after post commenting on and analysing tommy's character because i find that there's so much to pick apart. but that enthusiasm for his character only seems to be found on tumblr. reddit and twitter seem to hate his character, the VODS seem to be filled with comments from people who only care about techno's perspective (and treat techno as a reliable narrator, which, is the furthest thing from the truth - that guy lies through his teeth all the time), and the smp wiki is a hellscape of godawful takes and mistruths, not even on just tommy's character.

c!tommy is brilliantly acted and brilliantly written, and almost everything he does is either justifiable or has been rectified or admitted as a mistake. you can clearly make connections as to where he got his conclusions from. you feel what his character experiences, as a member of the audience, vividly.

if you look in the more objective sense, c!tommy, and this is especially in the context of him being the youngest character, is a scapegoat. people claim he's awful and destructive when in reality he's a lot less destructive than most characters on the server. a moment that comes to mind is where he diverts schlatt and quackity's attention from pogtopia by breaking part of the flag in manberg, and then replacing it so as to buy tubbo some time - he literally monologues after it about how he doesn't want to destroy but instead rebuild, and how he feels as if nobody else seems to understand that.

his arc in season two was incredible. it was very character driven, and it gave a spotlight to his motivations. at the start we see him in new l'manberg, and he's enjoying his time there, he's skeptical of his friend's presidency, but his main goal is to get back the discs so that he can stop dream and eliminate that threat. he made one screw up that didn't even matter to george, and he paid for it tenfold, even after dream had spent a while with puffy griefing the server and framing it on tommy - what tommy and ranboo did was convinient. then, in exile, we see c!tommy straight up get abused. he's gaslit and conditioned into being c!dream's friend, and in his brain he teaches himself that those acts of abuse are moments of bonding, and it eventually brings him to the point of wanting to end his own life - he's been torn away from his friends and his support system, and nobody will visit him consistently anymore because they only showed him pity, and all he had left was dream, who had hurt him.

but he doesn't die there, because while he didn't understand the full gravity of it back then like he does now, he recognises that dying isn't an escape, and he can beat dream, even if he doesn't know how. so this is where he goes to techno's place, and here's where the fandom starts to misinterpret the situation wildly.

it's the problem similar to when your parents tell you that they're owed something back because you put a roof over their head, despite that being Not How It Works. techno took tommy in and severely mistreated him emotionally. sure, and i understand this, c!techno is a bad communicator who isn't really that empathetic to anyone who isn't phil or wilbur, but that doesn't excuse the blatant lying to c!tommy's face, the guilt tripping, the friendship buying and the degrading. the day before the festival, tommy finally does something violent in his interrogation of fundy, and only then does techno tell him,,,,

that tommy's not equal to him, that techno doesn't respect him all that much, and that they're not friends.

from techno's perspective, and at the time, this was viewed as a positive development in their relationship. oh, he's starting to warm up to tommy! this friendship could really blossom!

no. from a more objective standpoint, what techno has just said to tommy is : 'i respect you only a little bit more now, because while you're starting to act more like me, you're still annoying and a burden.'

and i haven't even touched on the whole 'erasing the words 'Destroy L'manberg' from techno's to-do list' thing, because that instantly refutes the point of 'techno was upfront with his intentions the whole time' - because he wasn't! he may have said it the first time, but you also know what else he did? he repeatedly told tommy that they'd 'air the details out later' whenever the discs were brought up, and from a tommy viewer's perspective at the time, it was framed as if techno was no longer going to do that.

and i also haven't dared touch the 'i would have fought them all for you', because that's major guilt tripping if ever i've seen it.

so, the day of the festival comes, and here's where c!techno and his apologists completely misread c!tommy's thought process, and why he makes the decision he does.

tommy instantly regrets valuing the discs over tubbo, and it's framed as the culmination of tommy having become all the people he said he would never want to be like. and what does he immediately do? he tells tubbo to give up the disc, and he sides with tubbo. he puts his value in his friends, and, by proxy, l'manberg. and when he betrays techno, he tells him 'i'm sorry'.

from a more objective standpoint, tommy's time with techno is him valuing the discs over almost anything else. so, in leaving techno to be with tubbo again, he is valuing people above the discs. so when, on doomsday, techno says his 'discs aren't people' line, what he doesn't realise is that he himself fueled tommy's valuing of discs above people when attempting to fuel tommy's vengeance against tubbo and l'manberg. techno doesn't realise that he was an unhealthy presence for tommy, and an even worse influence.

what techno also doesn't seem to understand is that tommy never hated tubbo or l'manberg - tommy recognises, now at least, that his exile wasn't a product of tubbo, but a product of dream's manipulation, likely in part because at the time, especially with dream lying about tommy blowing up the community house, tommy was the only one who could see it because he had experienced it firsthand. so when techno sides with dream, it's like kicking tommy in the teeth.

and i want to mention that betraying someone doesn't necessarily make the person who was betrayed good, or in the right, or even justified, because tommy was entirely justified to leave techno. you know who else was betrayed? schlatt. but i don't see many schlatt apologists around angry at quackity for joining the rebellion.

tommy stole the axe of peace? good. it was a moment of tommy defining his self-worth, instead of having it defined by others. gone is the age of c!techno belittling him and deciding how much c!tommy should be respected. NEXT!

here's a moment i wanted to talk about that will forever be funny to me.

'i am a person.'

techno's very famous line from doomsday. techno says to tommy that discs aren't people, and that tommy should value people, despite not understanding that by leaving techno, he did just that. and what does tommy say in return, which has been omitted from every c!tommy-critical analysis, and every animatic?

'yes you are, but so are we.'

an acknowledgement of techno's hurt, to which tommy has already apologised for. a statement that says 'your hurt does not excuse, nor justify, the hurt you have inflicted onto us.' an acknowledgement that tommy has already learnt the lesson techno seems to be trying to 'teach' him. but you can't teach him anything by destroying.

c!tommy has had almost everything he has ever owned or built either taken from him or destroyed. ranboo even points out that the only two things of tommy's left standing are his house and his hotel, and if i'm honest, his house is dissheveled. it's a labyrinth of terror due only to how many times it's been torn apart. l'manberg being blown up didn't teach anyone anything about anarchy, or about valuing people over possessions. logstedshire being blown up didn't teach tommy to be obedient.

i could honestly ramble for ages about how nuanced tommy's character is and how much depth and complexity there is to his character's process and his relationship with others, but more than that, c!tommy is forgiving. he invites almost everyone who hates him to the grand opening of his hotel - if that isn't an indicator that he just wants friends, and not to be treated like the embodiment of evil, then i don't know what is. he holds grudges, but he doesn't really actively hate anyone, other than c!dream. but, we'll let him. c!dream deserves nothing but to be pummeled into the floor.

tommy doesn't spoonfeed his character nuance, and he doesn't really spell it out for his audience. he'll mention things like trauma and triggers in passing, but a lot of analysis on his motivations has to be picked up from what is said in passing or from what can be seen in between the lines.

i'd be here for hours if i were to talk about everything i love about c!tommy, because honestly he's one of my favourite characters, and there are so many angles you can look at his character from in terms of his age, his relationships with others, his motivations, his personality, his character arcs etc etc. so instead of doing that, i'm going to compile some much more specific analysis posts below to skim through because they highlight so many good aspects of his character.

now that us ranboo apologists finally have something to apologise for, here is a list of reasons why ranboo’s actions are 100% excusable:

1. ranboo has severe short term memory loss, so he can’t be held accountable for the actions he takes while in an altered state.

2. his only real crime is having a disc in his possession, and he can’t legally be prosecuted for that in court.

3. ranboo is a minor and everyone knows that children can do no wrong.

4. ranboo is very cool and very funny. i don’t have a justification for why this excuses his actions, i just think it should be taken into consideration.

5. ranboo has two pet parrots and a little bunny rabbit and i don’t think someone with pets that cute could be bad. i just don’t think that’s possible.

6. ranboo gave technoblade a thank you gift. does that sound like something a traitor would do?

i did another DSMP apologist tierlist thing because i have brainrot lol

CLARIFICATIONS:

- I know Punz is currently under the Egg’s influence, but he was a mercenary pre-Egg and only joined for more wealth/power, same goes for Purpled. Their actions post-Egg are uncontrolled, but were controlled pre-Egg.

- Foolish may have threatened people, but as of yet he hasn’t necessarily done anything worth apologising for.

- An argument could definitely be made that Ranboo should be in 2nd tier, however as far as I know there’s not been many ‘concrete’ immoralities committed by Enderwalk Ranboo. Him setting off the TNT above the prison hasn’t been confirmed, but feel free to challenge me on this since Enderwalk lore is complicated and im probably not the most informed on it lmao.

- In the 4th tier, ‘destructive’ means both self destructive and/or destructive towards others.

Analysis on Tommy’s character’s mental state as a result of the exile arc.

Hey guys, I often makes posts discussing Tommy’s character and one thing that absolutely can’t be ignored is how his character has been traumatised by his experiences during exile. So, I thought I’d discuss in depth and how it’s impacted his behaviour.

In exile Tommy usually described himself as lonely. This is somewhat true but it’s actually a little misleading if you take it at face value. It’s not really loneliness that was his main issue, that was just the easiest one to express. Indeed, people did visit, they just didn’t really help with the issues that were really plaguing him. And there were a few.

-Tommy felt powerless. He was weak and attempting to get stronger himself only lead his hard work to be wasted. Therefore, he was reliant on others for help, and was utterly unable to give them anything back for any help offered.

He also felt trapped, he had to stay on the island so people could find him and visit him but he was not allowed to choose to send time with others himself. He was completely reliant on others deciding to visit him. (Him building not one but two bridges to make it easier for others to visit was all he could do to increase the odds of someone coming to see him.) It wasn’t just loneliness so much as it being something out of his control.

-Tommy felt worthless. He felt like L’Manburg had just seen him as a liability and was increasingly feeling like they were better off without him. No one really cared about him. He didn’t feel like he had value anymore as a person.

He didn’t want someone to visit him, he wanted someone to stay with him - he wanted to feel accepted, validated. That’s why he spent time making a guest tent, so people could spend the night. And was so ecstatic at Mexican Dream agreeing to live with him.

-Tommy is a very clingy person. He’s extremely sociable and becomes attached really easily. He has a hard time letting go too. In exile he constantly missed Tubbo and obsessed over the fact that he hadn’t visited. Leaving on bad terms hurt him. He couldn’t resolve anything and instead his frustration and bitterness grew and grew. He was put into such an awful and dark mindset! Its during this that he lets himself grow attached to Dream instead, who subtly encourages him to believe Tubbo didn’t care.

So, Tommy said he was lonely, but he was way more troubled than he let on.

Dream also took advantage of Tommy and performed abusive actions that both confused and traumatised him.

Dream forced him to drop his items, hitting him if he refused and threatening to kill him if he continued to resist. He then acted nice, protecting him, keeping him company and joking around with him.

He lent Tommy his pickaxe and trident. He helped Tommy get primes. He repeatedly blew up Tommy’s armour. He regularly destroyed any diamond tools Tommy got and talked about ‘letting’ him keep some things, like he was being generous. Dream talked about how L’Manburg was prospering with Tommy there, suggesting everyone had moved on while he was the one responsible for sabotaging Tommy’s relationships.

Dream acted like an authority figure, dressing up all his actions as reasonable and Tommy was at fault for making his actions necessary. He lied about Tubbo not caring about his compass. He promised to invite people to his party and then didn’t, letting Tommy believe they chose not to come. Dream’s actions left Tommy increasingly dependent on him, as he was both physically and emotionally very vulnerable (as Dream had induced) and Dream took advantage of it. Finally, when Tommy did a relatively minor act of rebellion, Dream blew up everything. He killed Mushroom Henry and destroyed anything else Tommy was attached to - his tent, the campsite Wilbur built, the prime log.

Now, one of Tommy’s key character flaws is that he is rather irrational. While he can be perceptive, he often gets driven by his emotions rather than logic. (Its part of why he gets attached to things so easily). Usually he doesn’t actually let his feelings control him, but the exile put him under huge emotional turmoil.

-Logically, he always knew that Dream was responsible. He never forgot anything, he was just struggling to process it.

Dream was acting like he cared and Tommy clung on to that. Even once with Techno he described his confusion at his exile and noted that he recalled all the events perfectly but was confused emotionally and basically wasn’t able to deal with his feelings on Dream at all. He knew he ought to hate Dream but wanted to trust him still.

Thinking more on emotions is also why he took Tubbo exiling him so personally - just before Doomsday he apologised and said he understood why Tubbo did it (I think he said it was the right decision even) but at the time he was hurt and felt like Tubbo didn’t care about him. Tommy often acts in the heat of the moment but fixes things afterwards. The issue with his fight with Tubbo was that they were unable to see each other and therefore resolve things, causing it instead to fester and get worse.

So, that’s basically what happened to him throughout exile, but how did this affect his actions? A few different ways.

-He became extremely depressed and almost ended his life. Though he ultimately chose against this, his sense of self-preservation is notably lower. He didn’t seem to be afraid at the possibility of dying during Doomsday. And he was also prepared to confront Dream again over his discs - he had nothing left to lose as far as he was concerned. Once Tommy realised that Dream didn’t want to kill him, he took full advantage of it. He walked up to Dream completely unarmoured while Dream was in full netherite and confidently ordered him around. He was not afraid of dying. And again, he threatened to kill himself if Dream didn’t return after already killing Dream twice. Tommy’s only slowly gaining back his zeal for living.

-He became angry and lashed out. Jack visited him at one point and Tommy spleefed him into lava, killing him absolutely ruthlessly. This is not a nice anger, its a cold destructive one, a result of all his bitterness from his unjust suffering. A minute later, he can only ask, why did he do that? Sometimes, Tommy might seem meeker, but it’s just hiding pain and rage that comes out in the worst of ways.

When no one turns up to his party, Tommy destroys part of the bridge he built for people to visit as he’s angry and has no real way to lash out - it’s not logical but as Tommy expresses: if they really want to visit then they’ll have to make an effort. A few days later he builds another, not because he’s better but because he’s so desperate for company he doesn’t even care if they don’t really care as long as they show up.

His actions while with Techno have him torturing Fundy and Connor, interrogating Ranboo and helping Techno release a wither on L’Manberg. This is not the normal Tommy. This is him releasing his bitterness and rage in a destructive way, with his twisted mindset being vaguely approved of by Technoblade (though even he thought Tommy was going too far!)

-He grew unhealthily attached to anything that gave him any stability in his warped, messed up world. That’s why he started fixating on his music discs so hard. And why he clung to Dream so hard for a while. And why he clung so much to Technoblade, quickly growing dependent on him, desperate for any sort of care and validation.

It’s why he even agreed to help Techno destroy L’Manburg at all. He was in such a warped mindset and wanted to trust Techno even if part of him was appalled by the idea, but his anger at L’Manberg was also clouding his judgement, and he wanted to agree with Techno because Techno cared about him. It’s not Techno or Tommy’s fault but their relationship was messed up thanks to Tommy’s trauma. Tommy was so dependent on Techno and was not able to function properly alone and he was very driven by his emotions, which were in a mess. He could barely sort out his feelings on Dream, let alone L’Manburg or Tubbo. He even let himself believe that all they were doing was minor terrorism, when Techno hadn’t hid his intentions that much at all.

-Tommy blames himself for all that occurred. When the anger faded, and he was a little less powerless, Tommy began to get back his own sense of agency, which he’d been lacking for so long. With more clarity, he realised that of course he wanted to forgive Tubbo and make amends. His experiences lead to Tommy feeling like it was up to him to apologise - and he did.

In some respects, there’s some excellent development here - it’s amazing to see him put feelings to one side and realise that his anger and bitterness were hurting him. And he held himself responsible - that his actions, traumatised or not, didn’t justify hurting others. He had been becoming the person he didn’t want to be - and rejected it.

But there’s some worrying signs too - his experiences left him in some ways too apologetic. His sense of self-worth is still low. He didn’t blow up the community house but at one point said he wouldn’t bother defending himself anymore as there was no point, nothing to be gained from arguing about it. He apologised to Sapnap for releasing Mars - wonderful but it was never really necessary. When interacting with the egg, he said he didn’t want to cause yet another war, having internalised the idea that he’s responsible for most conflicts. At one point he even said he blames himself for Doomsday. It’s not healthy to have such a low sense of self-worth. He no longer blames others for not caring about him - but he does blame himself.

Well this has been a long post. I hope that better expresses how Tommy’s been affected from his exile. I feel like I’ve seen posts complaining about apologists using trauma to excuse his actions. Not at all! Merely to explain. You cannot discuss Tommy’s current character without discussing his trauma. Likewise, it has been treated seriously by the narrative and Tommy continues to have it affect his character. It’s ongoing. He is improving but it has had a long-lasting impact. Indeed his mental state still feels fragile enough that us fans have been very sensitive to anything that might impact him. Tommy should be handled with care, and few of the characters on the server realise this.

can we please talk about the use of POV in quackity’s stream?

when he is trying to convince c!foolish and c!purpled to join las nevadas, he is unsuccessful, and both times the interactions are shown from c!quackity’s perspective. however, when it comes to c!fundy, we don’t see c!quackity’s POV, only c!fundy’s. I think this can be viewed in two ways. when we are seeing a character’s point of view the audience is able to humanise and understand their emotions more (hence cc!ranboo’s argument that you can’t be an apologist for c!dream because you don’t know what you’re apologising for as you’ve never seen his perspective). by only seeing c!quackity’s POV, sure, most people still won’t agree with what he’s doing, but he’s still being humanised and portrayed in a way that is somewhat sympathetic. then, when he tries to convince c!fundy, after being rejected twice, we don’t see his perspective. his failure and continued manipulation has forcibly stripped him of any sympathy the audience could have for him.

another take on it is to that it reveals the stability of characters themselves. c!foolish has spent a long time trying to put his past behind him and he strongly believes in peace. c!quackity isn’t able to crack, that, sure it bothers c!foolish, but it doesn’t ‘get in his head’. similarly to c!purpled, who is confident in his abilities to defend himself and is quite happy in continuing his current lifestyle which is ‘follow the money’. c!fundy on the other hand has been questioning reality for a long time. he feels abandoned by everyone around him, they all get a legacy and he doesn’t. so when c!quackity shows up promising him greatness, promising him a legacy? yeah we’re gonna see his POV, cause it’s c!fundy’s perspective on c!quackity’s stream. he’s becoming a puppet.

There is one funny difference between c!Techno/c!Phil apologists and c!Tommy apologists that I think about a lot (not /neg, just an observation)

Namely, how they respond to the prospect of angst and conflict, particularly about the characters acknowledging their flaws

Like, all I've seen of Arctic boys apologists is that they don't care at all if their faves commit any crime, and don't want the characters to feel guilty or get into conflict or anything. They seem annoyed by that prospect, from what I've personally seen. Like, just vibing please.

Meanwhile, here be me, Tommy apologist, just rubbing my gremlin hands and going "please. Please conflict. Please Tommy actually talk to Jack and have them both aknowledge how they hurt each other and get apologies from both sides. Please Tommy apologise to Fundy for yelling at him that one time, I so desperately want you to be friends. Please be honest with Ranboo, Ranboo, please stand up for yourself as well, I don't even care that much if you get into conflict with Tubbo along the way, I just want you three to work through for issues and be closer by the end of it. Please.... PLEASE actually acknowledging all the hurt. Imagine all the character development. Ohhh..."

(also, tommy pointing out that tubbo and ranboo care about him to dream, not knowing ranboo is already dead, and dream later threatening to kill everything tommy cares about??? if anything happens to c!tubbo i will murder everyone in this room and then myself)

im soothing myself by writing the sister-innit!reader fic,,,, and as someone who lives a few hours away from home, who has a little brother, who has grown closer and is very goofy with their little brother now since moving to attend uni......... this fic is very cathartic.

hello jack manifold anon here and I'm not gonna talk about morality fuck that, only the funneys today (obvious spoilers for wilbur's and tommy's stream)

first of all? the fact that c!wilbur is straight up a dream apologist? fucking funny as SHIT to me, like, aside from the obvious heartbreak and fuckiness of the situation, it's SO funny that's basically like pros: you get your brother back, cons: considers dream the hero of the server 😔😔 (ik it's more complicated than that but MAN does dream apologist c!wilbur make me laugh my ass off)

second off I can't just NOT mention the jack scene, because Man 🌊🐴 does finally hearing an apology, from literally anyone, is going to impact c!jack so much and I'm VERY excited, also BIG props to cc!jack for that amazing voice acting because you could HEAR him softening and like, the almost wonder at finally someone apologising to him

another thing is how quickly phil just accepted wilbur (man imagine your parents accepting your lying that easily oof /lh), like, of course he's gonna welcome and accept him immediately, but man kinda wanted,,, , , Something More I guess? but it's very nice to finally see them at least interact in canon :3

one sad thing for me is that, in the entire wilbur stream, no mention of fundy, literally none, and while I know they weren't on super good terms at the moment of his death,,, it hurt, I know that maybe it's because fundy wasn't on but,,,, only like a Passing Mention would suffice,,,,, (maybe bc fundy (and especially c!fundy) is like, A Fave™ for me so jdjcbdjd)

what gives me hope is the fact that fundy seems to be connected to quackity's lore somehow and wilbur is going to Also Be Involved with project nevadas in a way . Maybe we'll finally get a reunion, I hope it would at least be,,,, idk,,,, I don't even know what I want but if wilbur calls fundy his little champion I would be both very sad and very happy and cry probably

also tommy being just the BIGGEST ranboo apologist+enjoyer AND expressing it, TO ranboo,,,, is just such a good demonstration of his character development. allium duo got blessed today. PLUS wilbur Disliking ranboo like a lot of theories said he would is VERY funny, extremely funny, in fact, he doesn't love the beloved of the server . if dream smp was twitter wilbur would get ratioed immediately /hj

Man... I understand if people got offended and are still uncomfortable to that Ranboo stuff we saw today but tbh, I liked how he dealt with that. He came clean about what he did and he mentioned understanding how bad it was for some people and said he actually regrets that time of his life when he didnt know better (which is kind of an anachronism but we dont have time to unpack all of that) even though it was a short time ago, and, as expected, he apologised.

He didn't know if that was enough and still tried to think of what else he should talk about, but thats a behavior very common for people who are given or ask for the opportunity of monologing their apology and/or expressing regret. I like that

I'm not saying it because I'm an apologist, but because I often fall in those situations and barelly have half of that maturity to come forward and say "I did that and I regret it" I just pretend I didnt and let that past die, just like most people

So, yeah, there's no accepting the apology or not, but I'm proud of the behavior, we should all handle life like that, or just me, idk idc, it was good for me

sorry for asking (you can ignore this ask if you want) but i followed you for your takes on alivebur, so you're the best person i can think to ask about this. i've been watching since before the election, and i've always sympathized/been an apologist for wilbur.

tommy's most recent stream made me,, mildly uncomfortable with/generally dislike his character right now. i just,,,, between the statements on l'manburg, ranboo, and tommy, i'm just really bothered by him as of now, but i feel really guilty about it. am i valid or am i just over emotional over block game?? gidktstk

I’ve gotta say, you’ve probably come to the wrong blog for this. Wilbur’s stream (which if you watched only Tommy, I highlyyyy recommend watching Wilbur’s POV, especially the end) but this stream has only made me swing directly into being a full apologist!

So much makes sense, so much more has been revealed about him! Stuff we knew or stuff we assumed, it’s just been cemented down and I love it. I will never stop loving Alivebur and everything he does and says with all my heart, and that’s the honest truth here, Anon. I am just deep down, and always will be, a full on apologist for Alivebur, no matter how much I say I’m a sympathiser (which is the better word to be fair)

So! You have come to me though, and while if I had the quotes I could sprinkle a thousand tales to calm your guilt, I do not have the quotes as of right now.

Feel free to dislike him, but if it’s the Dream stuff you’re worried about, I don’t think there’s too much to worry about honestly. Dude clearly has internal conflict about him. I mean, firstly, he wanted to kill Dream, not only that be disembowel him. Like that’s a lot already. And sure he said Dream needed to be let out, but who knows how much of a threat that actually will be.

Not to mention it seems like Alivebur sees himself as a villain still, at least partly, as he calls Dream a hero but then contrasts that by saying he would have been in the prison if he hadn’t died.

Honestly, like, Anon, there’s probably little I can do to convince you. His comments about L’Manberg match up to what we know, he valued the ideals that were lost more than he valued the land. He sees Ranboo as an opposite to himself, and while he was harsh, he recognised that and wanted to apologise for being a dick.

With Tommy, like he clearly still wants to be his friend, and he’s clearly still trying to do things with him, make plans, keep him in the loop. Yeah he said he didn’t care for his strifes, but immediately after he said that he talked about how he wanted to kill Dream so, take a lot of what Alivebur says with a grain of salt, it’s very clear that he’s still not in a great mindset.

Feel free to feel guilty or however you feel, Anon, we’re all connected to these characters in some way, but just know from now on, Anon, this blog is not backing down. I will never stop loving Alivebur and trying to understand him through and through, and this stream, and anything that will come after it, won’t do anything to change that.

My OC's relationships on the Dream SMP

These are all characters, not the actual streamers! <3 It's also not all of them since I don't watch a few of them :) I harbour no hate towards the people behind the characters that I have issues with lmao

Awesamdude - Negative relationship - basically, he let Quackity get away with putting Techno away, let Tommy die and get revived by Dream and then never apologised, and then let ghostbur die and... wtf - Yeah we aren't friends. In another universe, if he weren't the warden, we might get along.

BadBoyHalo - He kinda gives me bad vibes - After the egg stuff I just don't really like to be around him... he killed Foolish and tried to kill everyone at the banquet which I just don't vibe with - I kinda understand why he joined the egg. I mean he was there for Skeppy which I think is ok, but he really went off the deep end. If he redeems himself, I'll be the first to befriend him (cautiously)

Callahan - Alright I taught him some American Sign Language for basic communication - I go and hang out with him whenever I feel like there's too much angst on the server, he's so neutral it's honestly relaxing.

Captain Puffy - We don't know each other very well - I mean I agree with her when it comes to the egg and she seems nice but it's hard to be friends with her when her son is Dream... poor Foolish, though.

Connor - I don't know how to feel about him - I don't have anything against him but... he just seems like someone I wouldn't get along with so I don't hang out with him. He is kinda funny tho

Dream - Ok, ok, he's just an ass - I'm not even gonna list why, you know why... I'm just saying. - I do feel bad for him since Quackity just beats the living shit out of him and he's already in prison so why...?

Dream XD - I fear no man... but that thing... it scares me. - Why his voice do that?? - I avoid him but if he approached me, I would be ok with being his friend, I mean he's a god. If I don't then I might die. Might as well use it to the fullest extent I can.

Eret - I don't really understand why he joined the opposing side during the L'Manburg war - I mean she's cool! I like their outfits and it's nice to have another queer person on the DSMP - I think we'd be good friends in another life, but our friend groups don't overlap very much, so it's hard to hang with them.

Foolish - Little bit scary ngl - Lightning go brrrrrr - I feel really bad for him since he's gotta be related to Dream and he died during the egg shit. That's just cruel. - also I don't really vibe with his personality but I do like to talk to him about his building ventures since I also love to build

Fundy - I feel sooooo bad for him - He's super cute, super sweet, and he just deserves more love - I plant sweet berries around his house to brighten his day whenever I can and I also feed his fox - I love to talk to him and he teaches me dutch sometimes because it's an interesting language. Also, he just deserves a good role model in his life... Like Will kinda sucked as his dad, Schlatt was not a good role model, and his friends don't really care about him. :( - Um also (IRL) he's the reason I started watching the DSMP, I love coding and Dutch so it was a very good mix for me

George - I sleep the opposite amount that he does. - I love his mushroom aesthetic but I stay away from him in fear of Dream XD. - I don't have a lot to say about him since he's not on the dsmp much

Jack Manifold - Yo he's lowkey annoying??? - Give Tommy his hotel back??? He died??? - If he were nicer to Tommy I'd be his friend but he's gotta get his shit together lmao

Jschlatt - Fuck that guy - bruh, he ruined L'Manburg?? - He drinks too much, not surprised he had a heart attack oof

Glatt - Ghost Schlatt gives me such chaotic evil vibes - I enjoy his presence much more than I enjoy his living presence. - I like the fact that he's kinda useless and can't do anything. It's like going to a zoo to see a creature you wouldn't want to see in the wild

Karl Jacobs - I feel bad that he's losing his memory, he's such a fun character. - I like to hang out with him but he makes me sad and also our friend groups do not vibe with each other oof

Niki Nihachu - She's super sweet and absolutely terrifying. - I love to help her bake and its super fun to try out new recipes with her - People really underestimate her and in return for her help with the baking, I help her train her fighting skills.

Philza - DADZA - I get in trouble with him a lot oof, I like to troll people so it happens quite a bit. Also, I take the blame for a lot of the stuff Techno and I get up to as well as with the bench trio. - He taught me how to sew and crochet so I can make my own clothes. I also build with him whenever he asks for help

Quackity - Scared. - He's rude and evil and I dislike him... gambling bad - I like Charlie and I think he's a good influence on Quackity but tbh I feel the same as Techno in this scenario. I am not a Quackity apologist!

Ranboo - I have the same vibe as him. We are one and the same. - I keep an eye on him during his enderwalks, he worries me sometimes. - Out of everyone in the bench trio, we get along the best. I take care of Michael sometimes when he's out doing Snowchester stuff with Tubbo.

Sapnap - I mean I dislike him a little, he throws off my vibe. - He's on the wrong side of everything imo, just stop being weird, big man... - Also I mean I don't understand why he threatened Dream with torture if he ever escaped. Like you don't have to tell him that, just do it? - We have very similar voices (IRL oh no) and so I'll mess with people by doing my best impression of him

Skeppy - One of the many victims of my trolling (with techno usually) - He's fun to hang out with for a while but I can't handle being around him for too long, he gives me a headache - Sometimes I wonder if he's actually made out of diamonds... should I kill him and see what happens?

Charlie (Slimecicle) - BEST BOY I LOVE HIM - HE'S SO CUTE DAP ME UP - Honestly, we get along soooo well, he reminds me of a slime for some reason, hmmmmmmmm - I try to teach him human-ness because if he doesn't want to look like a slime then there's no reason for me to say no

Technoblade - Ah yes the best one on the SMP - He did not like me at first, I can be a bit annoying oh no - Eventually, he got a soft spot for me since we have the same sense of humour and I love to mess with people - I sympathise with him, he deserves so much more than he's getting. - I wish he didn't express his emotions as anger all the time since it really affects everyone. He's got some anger issues and I try to deal with them with him.

TommyInnit - Omg I still find him annoying but I love to hang out with him like Wilbur does. - He needs to learn some boundaries but he is still a kid, so it doesn't really matter. I think people have to stop being little shits to him since his brain hasn't fully formed, like all adolescents. - He's very sweet sometimes and I appreciate his assistance in a lot of random tasks

Tubbo - I am allergic to bees so we can't hang too much - I like to chill with him and Ranboo and sometimes him and Tommy, but I'm always telling Tommy off for being a little shit to Tubbo. - I do not approve of his governmental ways, but his heart is in the right place. Also, why do you have nukes?

Wilbur Soot - Too much government, I do not approve - not a good father - Eventually, he stopped governmenting so whatever, no more animosity from me, eh?

Ghostbur - Awww he gave me blue - how dare he die twice - I love friend, I walked him sometimes. So glad he has infinite canon lives - I wish he had more time on the SMP, he's super sweet and his vibe is amazing

Revivebur - Alright he's kinda cool, I like his hair. - He doesn't have any governmental plans thank god - He's a bit worrying but he hasn't done anything yet. I'll just keep my eyes on him.
