This is the first in a series of chibi Mynes which I have about seven or so of, each with Myne as a different character or in a different universe which I thought the pose fit the best/whatever I felt like drawing. This one is of course Hamlet, evident by the-

There's the respect that makes calamity of reading abstinence, for who would bear the whips and scorns of time, the oppressors wrong, the proud man's contumely, the pangs of dispriz'd love, the law’s delay, the insolence of office and the spurns that patient merit of the unworthy takes when he might his own peace find in a well written novel?-

I know the punctuation isn’t amazing since I wrote most of that from memory, (it’s a great tool in your ‘stave off boredom’ inventory to be able to quote shakespeare at people, though I think my siblings are a bit sick of it by now, not that that’ll ever stop me, BWAHAHAHAH) Basically, I like hamlet. Or specifically that one speech. I know the subject matter isn’t really light hearted, but I’ve always pictured him as kind of a drama queen- I digress.

I read on 154 days and reached my goal on 85 days. My top day was December 31st, reading 518 pages over 5 different books. My longest book was The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins at 728 pages. My shortest book was Below Zero by Ali Hazelwood at 192 pages. The average length was 390 pages.

been going a little bit insane about this sentence from Ace by Angela Chen for the past week

#replace this with any other type of significant relationship too #also! this book actually rules btw i really recommend it #i didnt read it when it first cane out bc i was like. well i am already pretty familiar with asexuality and not rly interested in 101 stuff #but it turns out it doesnt feel 101-y at all its a super awesome piece of queer theory and also chen has Good opinions #and not weird watered down ones that i am sometimes wary of in aspec communities (frankly especially ace ones) #i think maybe if more people approached asexuality the way chen does (including and maybe even especially ace people) #i would be more inclined to still ID as ace #but anyways! #aro #aromantic #<- tag selections that reflect how i personally engage with this quote #also #described in alt text #also also #j tag #:/ #aro media
