I found a somewhat disturbing study that was done by Kingson University about euthanizing autistic people in the Netherlands. I’ll the link to the article here if anyone wants to read the entire thing.

Several people with autism and intellectual disabilities have been legally euthanized in the Netherlands in recent years because they said they could not lead normal lives, researchers have found.

The cases included five people younger than 30 who cited autism as either the only reason or a major contributing factor for euthanasia, setting an uneasy precedent that some experts say stretches the limits of what the law originally intended.

In 2002, the Netherlands became the first country to allow doctors to kill patients at their request if they met strict requirements, including having an incurable illness causing “unbearable” physical or mental suffering.

Between 2012 and 2021, nearly 60,000 people were killed at their own request, according to the Dutch government’s euthanasia review committee. To show how the rules are being applied and interpreted, the committee has released documents related to more than 900 of those people, most of whom were older and had conditions including cancer, Parkinson’s and ALS.

We got bored so we decided to make a askblog, so ask us shit, if you want to specify who you ask to, would make it easier to know who’s being asked what, but for right now there’s probably a bit for you guys to know of us

Jetstream Sam: Brazilian, 5′6, eye color brown, male and the last one to have joined the winds of destruction, used to just wander the world and dispense what he thought was Justice, after thugs killed his dad he inherited his sword the Muramasa, it’s really fucking powerful and Jetstream Sam can somehow double jump we don’t know how though, even he doesn’t know, he makes for one hell of a ally though.

Sundowner: The 2nd to join, he’s a sadist and is strong in muscle, fucker can somehow carry his giant scissors and he likes to just make other’s suffer, sometimes makes the grunts feel pain when he wants but we’re making sure he doesn’t do that much, he’s 6′0 in height and his eye color is red, while he’s a sadist I think he’s also a bit of a coward, I noticed once that he has some sort of shields that when all put together resemble of some sort of red sun or some shit, though he ain’t really one to mess around, though the shields seem to resemble Japanese shit even though he was born in Alabama, his eye color is red btw.

Mistral: The 3rd to join and the only female of the winds of destruction, she joined a week after Sundowner but she seems to get lost sometimes, not like lost as in she doesn’t know where she is but just lost in who she is, she’s French has green eyes and probably thinks herself as a stranger, but she’s strong, though before on a mission she was supposed to go with some guy called Khasim, but when she returned she reported that Khasim had died, we have no clue how though, her weapon of choice is a staff made out of Dwarf Gecko arms, she’s also 5′8 same height as me.

Monsoon: And now we come to me, Monsoon, I’m the one who actually pitched in the idea for a askblog, I’ve survived the Cambodian genocide and came to my boss, when I was on the verge of death, in this world it’s kill or be killed, I also was a gang member but I’m not going to go into that, life though I’m sure is meaningless, free will is a myth, religion? A joke, I’ve segmented my body, and can use magnetism to move shit around, of course I’m also the first to join, I use sai’s as they’re my weapon of choice, like I said while talking of Mistral I’m 5′8 in height, and with that I’ll leave it there, feel free to ask us shit.

Profile Update - Username Change

Whaddup, my fellow hounds! Welcome back to my blog! If you haven’t noticed already, this mun’s got a new name.

Oh, don’t worry! I didn’t go anywhere. This blog is still run by me, Melodtaku, but I’m not called that anymore.

“Melodtaku” was actually a username derived from my initial persona/Zoosona identity, “Melody (the werewolf)". For a while, I use to like having this name since it kinda reflects my personality, and it's the best username I can come up with.

However, the name only lacks one thing: a significant representation of my blog.

What I want users on Tumblr to see a glimpse from my name or the blog itself is that I am passionate about expressing my interest through theories, discussions, fanart, original AUs, semi-fandomless/fandomless content, and more!

I give you Embersekai, a portmanteau of Ember (my current persona name) and isekai ("different world" in Japanese which represents my love for any Fandom I put my interest in)!!!

Yet, it will take one baby step at a time. In the distant future, I plan on adding more post genres here, typing out post schedules, opening post submissions, and customizing my HTML theme. But for now, the name change is enough.

You CHEAT and you are automatically on the shit list.

When you cheat it is as if you’re saying “this assignment/test is a waste of my time and the instructor/professor/educator’s time is something I can freely waste grading my academic dishonesty.”

I don’t care if you try to fire back with “eDuCaTiOn Is BrOkEn” or some other nonsense.

Cheating is cheating. You’ve stolen the answers from elsewhere and stolen time from your instructors—who btw YOU ARE NOT PAYING.

Students, contrary to common internet BULLSHIT, DO NOT pay their undergrad or grad instructor’s salaries.

The universities and colleges do.

Enrollment DOES affect how many educators are retained for services but there is no direct “I PAY YOU” relationship involved, got it?

I get PAID by my employer, NOT my students.

Back on-topic.

If you cheat, we can usually tell. Mostly because those stupid enough to cheat are also lacking in intelligence in other areas.

Had a sloppy as FUCK cheater last session cheat on a PERSONAL ESSAY. Something that should have been short, sweet, to the point about their OWN experiences, core values, and other tooth rotting fluff, right?

Well, cheatface was also the 30th student I was grading that day, and I just wanted to be done, so it nearly got past me BUT cheatface pinged my alarms with the thought of “this isn’t how cheatface types. it’s coherent” and after I ran it through a cheat checker, is spotted another BLATANT error: cheatface forgot to change the name of the source’s fake company to the company cheatface wanted to work for.

It’s also the surefire way to make me madder than a hornet and, shall we say, less than merciful toward cheaters. My employer leaves it to MY discretion to allow cheaters the chance to redo work after being caught.

Since most of the cases I catch ARE the end of the session, they do not get a do-over. Even during the session, depending on when and how I catch them may or may not get a second chance.

End of session cheaters will never get mercy, though.

Why? Because two weeks before the session ends, we do a unit about the college’s preferred citation style AND cover academic dishonesty. To say they should have learned to be better is a fucking UNDERSTATEMENT.

So, Tl;Dr—Don’t cheat unless you want to end up on instructor’s shitlists amongst other things.
