Whaddup, my fellow hounds! Welcome back to my den! I know it’s a month away from Valentine’s Day, but I’ve been thinking about SVTFOE lately. So, I wanna share one of my favorite OTPs, “Starco”, in a Valentines-themed Picsart collage.

I never liked Star and Tom (Star’s ex-boyfriend) shipped as a couple, even when they kinda have just broken up prior to the series.

Star should find someone better than that bad-tempered cambion.

Now, I’m glad that Starco became an offical ship. I gotta be honest: throughout the series, Star and Marco’s relationship is much stronger than anyone they’ve met. That’s how significant the quote on the bottom-left reflects.

well…i’m bored! so i doodled Monster Kid…

Whaddup, my fellow hounds! Welcome back to my blog! I give you yet another Undertale character fanart.

This kiddo came up in my mind while I was doodling on my sketchbook. First I sketch out his outlines and then trace ‘em plus color in with a selection of glitter gel pens.

When drawing Monster Kid, I imagine him wearing some sort of shawl-like striped dress which could’ve explained why is he armless.

So…the doodle actually turned out well! I mean who knew that such inks can make your artwork on paper look so cool. Thought I wanna post this, but I did played around with the filter to make the drawing stand out (see actual image in separate post linked above ⬆️).

Character Discussion: Who is Miss Heed?

Whaddup, my fellow hounds! Welcome back to my blog! Today, I'll be doing my first character discussion about Miss Heed from Cartoon Network's Villainous.

As a heroine, or...anti-heroine, she has the ability to charm her victims in a love trance through evaporating and altering any liquid as perfume. In fact, she tried to use a stronger one to hypnotize the world. Sounds like an intimidating foe, right? Yet, is she really what she seems? First, let's take a look at her history.

Character Commentary

As far as I know, Miss Heed was a graduate student at Black Hat's academy and a close friend of Dr. Flug. Ironically, she became a superheroine while allying with Goldheart. Unfortuntely, for some unknown reason, she left him (or maybe the other way around).

Flash forward into the series...

A villain calls the Black Hat Organization to capture Miss Heed; Dr. Flug, Demencia, & 5.0.5 landed on her city which was protected by heroes and villains; Flug was under Heed's control while Demencia & 5.0.5 got attacked by the mind control people; Flug goes with Miss Heed; and yadda, yadda, yadda--

SPOILER ALERT!!! Miss Heed used Flug to create her strong, hypnotic perfume, spreading across the world so Goldheart can love her again. However, plans had changes when she was decieved into kissing Flug, unaware Demencia had the camera bot on live. In end, the egolastical heorine is now hated by the public and was sent into a maximum security prison.

Thoughts/Opinions

Here's one:

What kind of superhero would hypnotized their enemies and other heroes only to "gain" popularity?! There's no honor in that!

A true hero is supposed to do something in order to truly receive honor from people. For example, there's a meteor approaching at a nearby city. Now, when a hero witness this, they don't simply send someone powerless. No, the hero should fix the problem fast. And if they have a sidekick, the hero should allow the sidekick to calm the citizens down while the hero would somehow remove the meteor from its presence.

Critically speaking, if Miss Heed were a "superheroine", she would've at least use her powers for good instead of her selfish desires. She wouldn't have to go to jail!!!

Plus, she wouldn't feel defenseless over losing her followers. If it ever happens towards a hero, they'll have to redeem their honor.

Of course, she was a former student of Black Hat's academy, so like they always say, "Once a villain, always a villain." Besides, should we even consider Miss Heed a "hero"?

She would've also been an effective antagonist if her victim's love trance wasn't short-termed and wasn't deceived by Flug through her own narcissism.

In short, Miss Heed may be a pretty face towards everyone, but she lacks so much potential as a true hero.

Profile Update - Username Change

Whaddup, my fellow hounds! Welcome back to my blog! If you haven’t noticed already, this mun’s got a new name.

Oh, don’t worry! I didn’t go anywhere. This blog is still run by me, Melodtaku, but I’m not called that anymore.

“Melodtaku” was actually a username derived from my initial persona/Zoosona identity, “Melody (the werewolf)". For a while, I use to like having this name since it kinda reflects my personality, and it's the best username I can come up with.

However, the name only lacks one thing: a significant representation of my blog.

What I want users on Tumblr to see a glimpse from my name or the blog itself is that I am passionate about expressing my interest through theories, discussions, fanart, original AUs, semi-fandomless/fandomless content, and more!

I give you Embersekai, a portmanteau of Ember (my current persona name) and isekai ("different world" in Japanese which represents my love for any Fandom I put my interest in)!!!

Yet, it will take one baby step at a time. In the distant future, I plan on adding more post genres here, typing out post schedules, opening post submissions, and customizing my HTML theme. But for now, the name change is enough.

Whaddup, my fellow hounds! After days without anything new, I’m finally back with another post!

This is an edit of Samantha from the Angry Birds Movie. She’s one of my personal favorite hatchlings. Why? Well, look at her! She’s adorable with her little “floof”. PERIOD.

In the second film, Samantha’s voice actress, Alma Varsano, had the most cutest voice I’ve ever heard. Alma did a fantastic job voicing the little beige hatchling.

(Yes, I’ve seen both of the movies IRL in theaters.)

If Rovio Entertaiment ever wanted to plan a third film, Sam-Sam better appear again! >:D

Mackenzie & the Stars Edit

Whaddup, my fellow hounds! Welcome back to my blog! Today, I give you my first edit on Mackenzie from Zoophobia.

I expected this to be simple but eye-catching. Like, I don’t wanna end up with an edit that is visually incomprehensible and/or unappealing.

In the end, it turned out surprisingly beautiful, not gonna lie! Also, if you look closely, you’ll see a cat constellation beyond the stars.

Hey, everyone.

I heavily apologize for my long inactivity on my old account. My personal life has been keeping me busy for about 5 months, and I didn’t have the time or energy to upload new content.

But there’s more…

This isn’t the first time I’ve gone through something like this 5 months ago. I went through these long hiatus so many times on that account.

Whenever I wanted to upload content after a long hiatus, I would delete all of my old content, including my introduction posts, so I can start fresh by remaking my content. I’d do it over and over again.

I have a bad habit of procrastinating in the social media world. Even when I have all of my ideas ready, I would much rather be doing something else. It dragged on for days, weeks, and even months.

Also, I often struggle with a creativity block (writer’s block to be precise). This condition makes it harder for me to come up with new content.

Now, everything I’m typing out aren’t excuses so I can “start over” on this new account just so I can go through a long hiatus and go through the delete-and-remake process again. I’m dead honest.

I’m posting this so I can say I’m sorry and try to make it up to you guys some how. Now, I felt like I’ve neglected my blog and the entire Tumblr community. I regret my mistakes.

But that’s gonna change…

This time I’ll try post at any time of day without going through long inactivity, depending on whenever I get them finished.

I’m fighting back against my creativity block and procrastination while trying to plan on new content to see.

I won’t let this blog down nor make the same mistakes again!
