LANGUAGES LEVELS AND INFOS:

Italian - native/mother tongue

English - FIRST Certificate C1 I have been studying English in school for 2 years (elementary school) + 5 years in high school during which I took the Cambridge FIRST exam.

French* - scholastic (B1/2?) I have studied French in school for 3 years (middle school); I still understand it well as it's also part of my Regional language but I lack grammar/vocabs since I'm not using it much. Rarely use/d it online with natives.

Spanish* - (prolly A2/B1?) I studied Spanish (especially South American/Argentinian) by myself for a few years (I never really paid too much attention to grammar though, which I am trying to do now) + interacted with natives from Spain and Argentina. Not used for a while.

Russian* - (prolly A1 or less atm) I studied Russian by myself for a couple of years after studying Bulgarian for a year/a year and a half. Not taking any of these into much consideration atm but who knows.

I am fond of different alphabets/ideograms/translitterations btw, which takes me to ->

Korean* - I started studying Korean by myself 3-4 years ago but I haven't been consistent. I have been studying and practicing daily for 1 year now. (01/2024) I can understand many grammar points of intermediate level (still Idk if I can call myself intermediate as I lack in listening skills).

Japanese - x I am just taking note of resources and infos, I first want to learn Korean in a proper way.

I'm lys and I opened this blog cause I needed a place to collect my thoughts about what I have been going through and what I'm learning, in order to understand everything and myself a bit more and try to heal.

We're all going through (and have been going through) a lot in our everyday life, I think the minimum we can do, is to try to lend an helping hand to someone else who probably right now cannot make it alone.

Please don’t hold back thinking “others are having it worse than me” cause your feelings are important too, it is not a competition, and if something is not making you feel good then you have to get it out of your chest and seek for a way to get better.

At the end of the day, we need to acknowledge our own persona and trauma or problem, and find a way to make ourselves feel better. Our own mental and physical health are the most important things ever.

Could you please tell me which apps or sites you suggest for me to learn Italian? I've already done some Duolingo which is very basic but at least I know a few things now :) I only know English.

Giorno 4/?

Oggi ho imparato uno scioglilingua italiano: sono più o meno riuscita a pronunciare "Trentatrè trentini entrarono a Trento tutti e trentatrè trotterellando" 😂

Inoltre ho avuto una visita dal medico, che è andata bene. Ed adesso sono felice che comincia il fine settimana, soprattutto perchè il domenico vado ad un concerto del mio gruppo preferito (Queen)! 😍😍😍

Giorno 1/?

Oggi è stata una bella giornata. Al lavoro ho assistito a una visita guidata della nostra nuova mostra fotografica (le ore anche sono considerate lavoro!). Poi ho passato una lunga pausa pranzo nel un parco con una collega. La sera, ho cenato in un ristorante italiano con mio padre, che si trovava nella mia città per caso. Adesso sono stanca ma contenta!

I asked to keep studying w/another group and was given a couple options. #I chose the 'safer' one bc I don't want to jump into an A2 class when my grammar is still A1.25 #we're starting in two weeks e non vedo l'ora :)

Day 1 - Introduce yourself and tell us what you study!

안녕하세요, 저는 엘리자예요. 만나서 반가워요~ ㅋ 저는 이탈리아 사람이에요 그리고 환경과학에서 전공했는데 글쓰기는 제 취미 중하나이에요. 언어들도 배우는 너무 좋아요. 너무 많은 년 전에 영어와 프랑스어를 학교에 공부했어요. [영어 7년 동안 그리고 프랑스어 3년 동안 공부했어요]. 혼자 집에서 좀 년들 동안 스페인어 공부했는데 스페인어 사람들을 언라인에 만났어서 그들이랑 쓴 것 시작했어요. 제 척추뼈 골절할 때 집에 너무 심심해서 좀 불가리아어와 나중에 러시아어를 공부했어요 ㅎ 그리고… 2-3 년 전에 한국어를 공부한 시작했어요: 솔직히 말하면 날마다 오직 1년쯤 부터 열심히 일한 시작했어요. 전에는 진짜 일관성이 없었어요. 2014년 9월부터 저도 제 블로그로 "@sayitaliano"라고 이탈리아어 학생들을 배우는 도우하고 있었어요.
