hey guys wanna see some cool indie cartoons which i animated? :U
as an indie animator, if you would check out these two projects i worked on as the (solo!) animator with supermoongo production, it would be of great help!
Princess Astra, an adult parody of sailor moon; animated in good old trashy style
vimeo
Salty Banana, animated pilot based on my own comics, also with supermoongo production!
vimeo
anyway if you would share this, reblog, show to your friends, if you think its cool, please do! i worked hard and long on both of these projects (As i said - solo animator!) so if you can pass it around, that would be wonderful :'D

In the light of current world events, and after watching a video that explained how, if you DON'T feel like wanting to smash your head somewhere or scream into oblivion it means you're mind hasn't been revolutionized yet, I want to present this animated short film by Pakistan which speaks to me so much. Even though this film is about internal conflicts, the messages and indications are so universal and I urge everyone to take out a few minutes and watch it.
The seed of resisting a system that makes you think it's for your benefit but is just profiting off of your basic rights is so so important, now more than ever. I feel like we're on the brink of something big and something important. Please don't let that flame die.

Collection of The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse Concept Art | 2022
In honors of the Oscar awards, The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse recently won the Oscar awards for the best short animated film for 2022. After watching the film — review coming soon — the art work was truly breathtaking, and I loved the simplicity of the story. That said, here is a collection of The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse concept art.

There’s this Icelandic animated short film from 2002 called The Lost Little Caterpillar and I think everyone should watch it despite the strange but unique CGI animation. It’s about a little Caterpillar who journeys through the garden trying to discover who she is and what it means to be beautiful. The caterpillar looks like some kind of little green goblin or little green garden elf lurking in the trees and grass. Throughout the film, she is bullied by the other insects in the garden, they call her ugly, fat, etc., tell her what she can and can’t do, and she almost gets eaten twice (by a spider and by a bird). There are also some kind insects in the film, such as a wise worm who gives her advice about what it really means to be beautiful and how important it is treat others with kindness, no matter how “ugly” they may be. The worm was voiced by the late Stefan Karl Stefansson (a.k.a Robbie Rotten from LazyTown). But I really think that everyone should watch this film at least once in their life because it teaches us a lesson of how it is always important to be kind to others no matter how “ugly” or “strange” they may seem, because you never know if they are really a beautiful butterfly on the inside.
If you’re interested in watching, the film is available on YouTube.
