reading books in Latin, coffee stained papers, piles of books on the desk, spilled ink, wine bottles with a candle stick in it, cherry red lips, a very chaotic mind of new stanzas and creative work. Grecian artwork and statues that crumbled over time. revlon lipsticks and dior blush.

Vintage celebrity selfies.
The very word "selfie" came into use after a smartphone appeared in everyone's pocket. But, of course, they began to photograph themselves long before that. The first selfie in the world is considered to be a photographer's picture. The text is taken from the News in Photos website - BigPicture.ru Cornelius obert, which he made in Philadelphia in 1839. The American used an improved daguerreotype plate, which reduced the exposure time: Robert stood motionless for only five minutes.

“When I was a child, ladies and gentlemen, I was a dreamer. I read comic books, and I was the hero of the comic book. I saw movies, and I was the hero in the movie. So every dream I ever dreamed has come true a hundred times… I learned very early in life that: ‘Without a song, the day would never end. Without a song, a man ain’t got a friend. Without a song, the road would never bend. Without a song.' So I keep singing a song.”

I would love to know more about Elvis’s relationships/affairs with the actresses who starred in his movies. Many of them were close in age to him too but they’re rarely discussed except for like Ann Margret.
I do think Ann Margret is particularly special, therefore talked about more, but I totally agree that his other leading ladies/costars deserve some love also !! <3
here are some of my personal favorite offscreen romances// (names are in order of the photos) Yvonne Lime, Juliet Prowse, Joan Blackman, Anne Helm, Tuesday Weld, and Jane Elliot 🎀

and while Shelley Fabares and Nancy Sinatra both deny ever having a romantic relationship with him, I know that Elvis had a massive crush on Shelley (who played his leading lady more than anyone else) and there were definitely mutual feelings between him and Nancy 👀

and another girl that’s rarely talked about (who worked behind the camera as a wardrobe consultant) was the beautiful Nancy Sharp!! Elvis was very serious about her and he even flew to Missouri to meet her parents
