I need to prepare my notes for my exams and also need to make-up for the literature classes that i missed, as i am looking in the shelves my eyes fall for the girl near me who is also looking for some books ( literature i guess??) . And i don’t know why but i was just simply in awe, even felt like my heart stopped but above all she also gave me a feeling of being in home. Suddenly i realise that i am staring at her like a creep and before she can realise that i look away but to my astonishment she starts a conversation with me. Hell ... who would have thought that one conversation will change everything.

I never thought that we would spend so much time together in library and cafes, studying and laughing.

Never imagined that i will be taking her to the prom or Christmas or new-year parties.

Never thought that walking in the snow will be so much fun.

I didn’t expect that we will get so close to each other

Never did i see all these things coming neither did i expect that we will fall so madly in love with each other only to be separated later.

Over time, the memory of your presence has escaped my mind. I now no longer see your face in strangers.

I still don’t know where we went wrong but we suddenly fell apart. But as we parted in our separate paths, i took the best of you and you took the best of me. We learned a lot from each other and we also grew a lot. Our futures are on different paths brings a sadness, but that we met and loved brings me warm joy in my memories.

Even after all these years where we both are well settled with a loving family we still cross paths sometimes, and whenever we cross paths all we can do is smile, even though it might pain a little, even though all those memories floods back in the back of our minds ... we both know that we can’t turn back time so let me tell you this and bid you farewell for the last time. So, remembering all the good times, cherishing our smiles and joys, letting the quarrels fade to nothing, farewell my dear, be strong, for i loved you and know that i hold you above others still. That we were once together makes you more in my eyes, someone special.

Sometimes, people can be really kind

So, today I was laid off. I was, and still am, really sad about it. It was unexpected and I really liked my job.

On top of that, and of everything else that comes with losing a job, I was also sad because I had been wanting to buy a new game, Greedfall, for months now. I had been putting away money for it and it would have been my Christmas gift to me. Now, I can't buy it tho.

BUT, and this is the nice part of the story:

I was venting to a few online friends from a RP group about this, just how sad I was in general and how the game also makes me sad because I had the money for it and now couldn't buy it and, GET THIS:

One of my friends - one that I like a lot but was not that close to as compared to a couple others in it - simple decided to give the game to me for Christmas!

I never asked them to, and even told them that they didn't have to do it, that I didn't mean to exploid them for money or anything, was just venting, but they insisted! Even tho we are not particularly close, they still said they wanted to do something nice for a friend and it would be my Christmas gift, so I accepted.

So I guess, all I wanted to say about this is: sometimes people can be assholes. But some can still be really nice and kind even when they don't have to or would get nothing themselves for it.

I mostly hate Christmas, mostly because I hate being forced to spend time with my father's extended family, but on this one, even if is still a couple weeks from now, something really nice just happened. And I am truly touched and happy about it.

Is a small thing, just a game really. But in life, the small things sometimes are what really matters, and after just losing my job, this made me happy for the first time today. Not the game itself, but his gesture.

Zusammen brechen - einsam fallen

Seit einigen Tagen versucht man nicht nachzugeben, nicht nachzudenken, nicht nachzufragen. Alles was man verzweifelt versucht, ist, nicht zusammen zu brechen.

Alles wird zu viel. Es sind zu viele Menschen, die die ganze zeit um einen herumschwirren und unterhalten werden möchten. Es sind zu viele Eindrücke, die man hier bekommt und die einen fast wie eine riesige Welle überrollen und mitreißen. Es sind die ganzen alten Erinnerungen, die wieder aufkommen, obwohl sie nicht im geringensten etwas mit dem Ganzen hier zu tun haben. Es sind die Einsätze und Übungen, die an den eigenen Kräften zehren, nicht nur an den körperlichen, sondern auch an den psychischen Kräften.

Das alles laugt einen aus. Es nimmt einem die Luft zum atmen, den Raum um sich zu bewegen, die Freiheit um zu leben.

Aber schlussendlich ist die Frage, warum heißt es zusammen brechen, wenn man einsam fällt?
