So, some of you may have noticed that I've been gone for a while, and I just wanted to talk about why!

I absolutely adore the Alterhuman community, but I feel very out of place here as well too. It's not that I feel unwelcome, but more that I don't really have much to say in regards to my identities since not that many people would be able to relate to my own experiences. And I've always held the philosophy that if I post something publicly, I want to know that at least 1-2 people are able to positively see themselves reflected in my message.

Also, I've noticed that the less time I spend in the community, the less dysphoric I get. I guess it's easier to exist as "human" when you're not constantly reminded of the fact you aren't one. But, also that, I wanted to focus on my personal journey with identity in a way where I didn't have to feel preformative. And, in doing so, I was able to confirm that I am Snow Leopardkin!

I've also been taking a lot of time to look at what I want to do with my Alterhumanity. I've been slowly building a personal faith/spirituality revolving around my identity as a Star God. Its amazing creating practices I can do to feel more connected to the earth and stars that feel entirely like me. But it's also taken up a LOT of my time and energy. Because, as it turns out, creating a personal faith to live by while also being atheist and having Religious trauma, is hard work lol

So, yea! I just wanted to pop in real quick, give you all an update on how things are going, and to let you know I haven't left the community or anything! I'm still here, I'm still proudly Alterhuman, and I'm still thriving!

Also, if anyone wants to know more about my lil personal faith, just comment below and I might make a post explaining some of the basics of the practices, beliefs, and how it relates back to me being Starkin!

So as I said previously, this cd is broken, but if stargod was a band I’m a little curious now to hear what their music was like. So I went looking around some thrift stores and didn’t find anything interesting store after store where I would go to the desk and ask if they had anything labeled with “stargod” or if they had even just heard of the band. I had called in sick for work for the past few days to look through thrift stores for things (I know that’s not responsible but whatever) but I couldn’t keep doing that forever so I was trying my best to look for anything, but I found nothing really until this one lady at one of the stores said she knew something.

Well I should say more she said it was funny I should ask because they had old vhs tape marked under the name that had been in the back for a decent while. She said she wasn’t sure where it came from but she was pretty sure it came from someone who died or disappeared or something which was, paired with the obsessive wrapping around the single vhs and the ominous “SHE SINGS LIKE LIFE” scrawled on the wrapping in a rusty coloured and smelly liquid (I would say blood but it’s to light) as she put it, “spooky.”

Anyways, because she didn’t really know what to do with it because it wasn’t really sellable, and I guess I came off as desperate or something, she said she would give it to me so long as I didn’t tell people where I got it from. (This doesn’t count because I doubt you’ll find what thrift store I’m talking about) and I am now the owner of one cryptic broken cd, and one cryptic vhs. Now I just need to find myself a vhs player.

I did! The males like this one are sooooo cool looking. I mean the females are too but I love the giant white eyes on some of the males. Here's a female:

I've seen males with the red eyes but never females with white eyes, so I don't know if that's a thing or not. Either way, love them!

StarGod Wally (finally did the guy at long last or just finished him)But yes here he is. and my bad for not being as active as much been too busy. StarGod au: There is a tale about a stargod, a witch, and a fair maiden (tbf this was inspired a bit off of studio ghibli) Years ago the fair maiden and the star god were in love with each other. The witch though on the other hand lacked of such a thing and was jealous. And so see seperated the two by erasing the maidens memeories and turning the star god into a statue trapped there for eternity. (will add more later though)

Question for other deitykin!

So, I'm a Star God. I'm supposed to have my own solar system to look after and protect. I have a strong desire to create and be acknowledged. The best way to explain it is, I feel like a parent feeding soup to my sick children. I want to take care of my children, I don't want them to think I'm any more special than they are, I just want them to know I'm watching out for them. I don't want to be worshipped but, an offering once in a while would be nice, if that makes sense

The only things that have helped me so far is character design/costume making, and 3D printing. But, it would be nice to find something that works faster, since my designs/costumes can take hours, days, or sometimes months to finish.

So here's my question: how do you satisfy that urge to rule, create, and/or be acknowledged for the deity you are?

October 31st - Man-Wolf

John Jonah Jameson III is the son of the Daily Bugle publisher J. Jonah Jameson. An accomplished military pilot, Jamison was among the youngest candidates to be selected to become an astronaut. His first mission into space went awry when the guidance system malfunctioned during reentry. Captain Jamison and his crew were saved when Spider-Man was able to create a webbing parachute that slowed the craft’s and allowed for a safe landing. Although Spidey had saved his son’s life, J. Jonah Jameson was enraged that the web-slinger had stolen the spotlight from his son and he ran an erroneous editorial claiming Spider-Man had actually sabotaged the space shuttle.

During a second trip into outer space, Captain Jamison encountered an extraterrestrial virus that increased his strength to superhuman levels. Jamison used this new power to battle Spider-Man when it had appeared the wall crawler had committed a bank robbery. Spidey escaped and the true culprit behind the crime was eventually identified and apprehended.

Some time later, Jameson manned a third space expedition to collect samples on the moon. During the mission, Jamison discovered a large ruby known as ‘The Godstone.’ This alien relic attached itself to Jameson, transforming him into a lycanthropic being called The Man-Wolf.

Returning to Earth, he went on a rampage and battled Spider-Man. Spidey was eventually able to remove the Godstone, restoring Jameson to his human state; although the Godstone was later replanted onto him by Morbius The Living Vampire in order to use the Man-Wolf as a pawn against Spider-Man. Some time thereafter, The Man-Wolf was transported to The Other Realm, an extra-dimensional plain from where the Godstone originated. Whist there, Jameson developed greater control over his lycanthropic powers and became a hero. He came to be known as ‘Stargod’ and had countless adventures battling the evil throughout The Other Realm.

After finally returning to earth, Jameson took a position as the personal pilot for Captain America as well as The Avengers. Herein, Jameson became romantically involved with the heroine known as She-Hulk. He maintained his Man-Wolf powers, but used them sparingly worried that he could become overwhelmed by the savage instincts that take over when in his werewolf form.

Later, Jamison became a member of The Black Panther’s covert operations group, The Agents of Wakanda. More recently, he has accepted a job as chief of staff at the mysterious Raevncroft Institute.

Versions of Captain Jameson have featured in a number of the Sony Pictures Spider-man movies, portrayed by actors Daniel Gillies and Chris O’Hara. The hero first appeared in Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #1 (1962).

So I went asking around about stargod and found some slightly interesting stuff.

The first is that despite almost nobody knowing what I was even talking about I had a few people come to me about it and I’ve gathered that either the band or at least the lead singer was from Paris, and her name was Vanessa l’etoile. According to people who remember the band her voice was the most beautiful ever heard.

The other thing I dig up was the lyrics “and you will fly above the clouds there is no stoping us now, we know our lives and our harmony” from somebody remembering them (I’m not sure how accurate it is because it’s just from one person’s memory but idk)

The last thing was somebody said that they had a shirt for the band they had found at a thrift store that looked kinda like this.
