You see, this wasn't an incorrect fact:

Dazai is right, the walls are anti-ability and we see this in action too: (this most probably was a part of Fyodor's plan to throw Dazai off-guard and make him think that his plan was working)

Yes, Chuuya's ability doesn't work on the walls. Dazai didn't underestimate him or his ability. He looked at the facts and gave his opinions. (That's why I think his words in BSD 101 were also true, he must have really believed that Chuuya was going to drown because he had no way of knowing that Fyodor was gonna pick him for a pawn)

Getting Chuuya to break the threshold between every door was Fyodor's idea.

And it doesn't even seem like a big deal to break the threshold; it hardly took the power of a finger for Chuuya. (and no more than a slight dent in the floor should be enough for the water to flow out)

So.... why is he talking about their trust and bond and all if not to simply rile up Dazai?? It's Fyodor that Dazai should have kept an eye on (and still needs to) because once again, this conjurer is misdirecting his attention to his 'stronger' assistant here while the actual trick was all Fyodor's.

Yet infuriatingly - it is worth it. #I am far from done with healing. I've barely scratched the surface. #but im learning and connecting with myself along the way. #The biggest step I've taken this year is working on my people pleasing ways. it's a bad habit birthed from a lot of different traumas. #but it no longer rules my life. #I am not passive anymore - and surprise! that doesn't make me a horrible or evil person. #my kindness is no longer a weakness. its still a part of me and always will be. i won't let go of it. #but it is no longer to a fault #there are people undeserving of my kindness... i realize that now. I know what i will and will not put up with in every kind of relationshi #im still learning and exploring - and i've said a lot of goodbyes this year. I'm sure i will say more. #but that's okay. #some relationships are forever - some serve you for a while and teach you a lesson when they end. #and some relationships stick around and don't *have* to have a deeper connection #and that's also okay. #I didn't think I'd make it through this year in all honesty. Everyone's journey of healing is different but, I think he'll still be able to wear the same wolf T-shirt even after everything that happened.

Whereas I could not ever wear the same T-shirt again: the one from the night of the worst thing my abusive parent did to me (screaming at me for a whole car ride home from some music lesson, then hitting me once we were home) when I was 11 :') It was a bright pink tee, and even conjuring the image of it up in my head now, 19 years later, still brings a burning sensation throughout my body due to anxiety. The only difference over the years is that the burning feeling is only a mild discomfort today, not a debilitating and overwhelming reminder. I had stopped wearing the tee after that night, and over time it ended up at the bottom of the wardrobe pile, until many many years later I gave it away at last.
