What's going on #i don't even remember deciding to draw this..it's all a blur..i'm not sure why i WOULD decide to draw delicate scenes in my head #that i wouldn't really want to share with anyone/discuss so why did i draw it... #some part of me really really wants to draw things that are more and more true to myself... #maybe because of my alienation with most romance/shipping/dynamics the rest of the world depicts. #orufrey really is perfectly suited to me - what i read in the text and what is in my head. well anyway #i am TIRED of drawing poses and angles and..maybe now i will actually take a break from drawing bc of the tediousness of Angles #btw it really is a 'stretch of time' . . . assuming witches graduate age 18-20 #well orufrey are canonically 30-ish. they've only had agott around for presumably about TWO years (?) bc she took the test age 10 #and it feels like oru moving in/unknown atelier acquisition/building (?) .. i guess that could be a year or so before agott at most #(she was the first disciple) so... ????????? What about the other 7 or so years ?!?!?!!?!?! Unemployed Brimhat Hatred era #that time is very nebulous. after qifrey went to the tower i feel like it's been implied he and oru drifted apart a little. #certainly they didn't live together at first... no way. that doesn't feel like how it is based on things oru has said about becoming Eye #idk. I visited a junior school (for ages 7-11) the other day and they had a display of pride posters including one for ace! My 13 year-old neighbour identifies as aroace and has told her parents!

I get so emotional thinking about the aspec kids who will grow up knowing that those identities are an option, knowing that it's a valid way of existing in the world, knowing that it's okay if they don't ever feel (a particular kind of) attraction.

below the cut because i can't shut up ever :D

-abby does well enough in school academically but is still needs some work in the socioemotional dept

-when she starts a new school year mike is a bit worried but then she comes back home absolutely ecstatic and mike is like “okay this is good”

-she talks all about how mr. ness lets her color while he teaches and how mr. ness gave them all name tags w silly drawings (hers is a bear) etc etc

-mike is actually really happy bc most teachers have a hard time understanding abby (heck, he has a hard time understanding her) so he’s looking forward to meeting this mr. ness during back to school night

-it goes on like this for awhile, with abby raving about mr. ness and mike is just happy that his little sister seems to be doing better in school. the first time she comes home talking about these kids she hung out with at recess he practically cries

-back to school night is here and the first time mike sees this mr. ness he’s like abby u traitor you didnt tell me this man was exactly my type (he doesn’t actually tell her bc he never brings up his lovelife around her - not that he’s had much of one - but still isn’t this the type of things siblings know intrinsically)

-anyways they’re having the kids show their guardians around the classroom and their seats and everything and then mr. ness is explaining the way his class works and mike is totally paying attention. yup. he’s not distracted by those chocolate brown eyes at ALL

-so they’re waiting to do the one-on-ones with the teacher and mike crouches down next to abby and tries to be all chill “hey, abs. has mr. ness ever mentioned a partner or anything?” acting all nonchalant

-but abby sees right through him and is immediately like “he’s single! do u want me to put in good word for you?” and mikes like “NO i have no idea what ur talking about haha i just wanted to know bc it’s important to know that about ur teachers okay wait why are you smiling like that”

-(abby’s a little menace and already ships it)

-when it’s finally their turn mike is just chanting to himself “be normal. be normal. be normal” lmao

-but now that he’s sitting face to face with the teacher he notices that he has freckles and every chance he had at playing it cool goes out the window

-ness is telling him all about how well abby is doing in class and if there was anything he could do to make it easier for her in the classroom and abby’s just sitting there looking at mike internally screaming with a smile

-so she turns to her teacher and is like “you should get mike’s number just in case something comes up. he’ll probably think of some things later since he’s been taking care of me alone for awhile” (bc u know when kids do that things where they kinda trauma dump at the most random moments lmao)

-and ness at first refuses and is like “im sure email works just fine!” and abby’s like WHYY is he not just taking the bait and then she has like a lightbulb moment

-bc ness probably assumes like everyone else that mike is a single father and abby’s his daughter and abby’s like oh no how do i make this work

-so she goes full anya mode (for my spy x family watchers) and is like “im sure mike would appreciate having your number on hand! he’s a very protective older brother you see. taking care of his little sister must be hard. i’m sure being a big brother like him is hard so it’d be for his peace of mind. did i mention he’s my older brother”

-and ness also has a little bit of a crush already forming so he doesn’t catch the obvious set up and is instead distracted by the fact that the handsome guy in front of him is in fact NOT a single father so maybe he does have a chance wowow

She’s screeching again. Luckily this time it’s in excitement, but it still makes both Bellatrix and Voldemort sigh. What a ruckus their little daughter creates wherever she goes; more so now she can walk. Cygnus plucks his little granddaughter up and tosses her into the air, catching her as she falls into a fit of giggles. Bella’s family swoon over their little heiress.

Cygnus puts the toddler between himself and her mother who tells her simply: Behave. Delphini smiles sweetly at her mother and within moments she’s making a mess of her food. No one seems to much mind, not even Voldemort. Delphini is a child, he supposes should let her be one and the Blacks seem keen to fall over themselves for her anyway.

She is safe here with her family, a luxury he never had. He will teach her to be cynical and guarded later. For now let her play freely and scream her laughter and demand attention of them all. She is so very good at it after all. She’s let loose and within moments the noise of something shattering is heard from the other room. Bellatrix sighs and disappears to collect her menace of a daughter but Voldemort spells back whatever has broken with a lazy flick of long fingers as Druella frets. She brings back a writhing, giggling bundle, black curls amassed at the top of her head and sprouting out from their hair-tie bouncing about.

Behave, her mother warns once more — to no avail. Voldemort knows what’s going to happen before it does. He watches as Delphini spells magic nonverbally and vanish her grandfather’s fine china. Voldemort pulls it back from the ether before it goes too far, his daughter is a clever little creature. A trickster in the making.

Dinner goes down a treat despite that she’s thrown peas everywhere, hitting Druella in the eye twice much to Bellatrix’s amusement. The Blacks are a loud family when they’re all around the table together and in private, happy and laughing, bedecked in the finest luxuries, eating their fancy dinners and drinking their ludicrously expensive wines.

She’s exhausted herself before long and Bellatrix has her in her arms as she drinks her wine, Delphini’s legs lazily slung either side of her mother’s lap as her cheek rests on Bella’s chest. She's taken the hand her father had attempted to put on her mother's lap too, holding with a viper like grasp around her father’s smallest finger and leaving him his other hand free to drink his wine, lulled to sleep by her mother’s heartbeat and her father’s calm voice amongst the warmth and happiness of the Blacks.

• the first chapter starts out with descriptions of running but with no reason why just wanna write a running scene lollll.

((Twigs snapped under Danny’s bare feet. Scrapes and scratches dug themselves onto his skin in a manner that only The Box Ghost level attacks could. His head snapped backwards as he reared towards a thick trunk of wood. His breathing escaped him in serval huffs and groans. He didn’t have time to stop. He couldn’t stop. Something was after him…The white suits were his confirmation that tonight had gone horribly wrong. Green lights echoed and groaned against the trees, shredding the bark around Danny. Tears threatened to fall against his deep neon green eyes. His lips curled up into a small scowl-his eyes half-lidded as he hurried into the gothic city..It must’ve been hours of running for as soon as he reached an alleyway and someone saw him..Dark..Dreams.No.Nightmares raged in his mind as his eyelids grew heavy falling into his person’s arms..Strange. They feel like him. Like himself. Like a halfa…

Jason’s breath fogged and he felt heavy compared to the concrete warehouse. Ice and small burning stars etched onto thin air as if it were paper. A swirling void of green opened up on the floor by the chalk or rather in it…

“Sooo. You want me.Me? To go on a date with you?” Danny asked faking confidence. He was The Ghost King he can handle someone asking him out. Especially this tank of a man who when walks prolly his asscheeks slap.-Ok Danny calm your ass down!!

((Bruce Wayne had known Vlad Masters was a shady man, and had even shadier things going on in his life. Like how he mysteriously gained wealth in the sun of about 3 months-his net worth was now 19 million and while that was huge didn’t quite compare to Luther’s or Bruce’s himself. And yet when he got him to talk all he ever talked about was his Godson; one Daniel Fenton. Whom Vlad was apparently obsessed with. Me boy did Vlad talk about this boy. Of course at first he sounded like he generally cared about everything the boy did like he was often there, but it started to get creepier the more Vlad talked to Bruce. Now Bruce loved completing his children around others and making himself seem small compared to the rest of them, but even he didn’t go into obsessive rants about his children over the littlest of things—Like how Vlad got Daniel a telescope for the boy and in Vlad’s eyes he loved it and then raced about how good of a kid he was and that “Daniel’s father is a Baffon and *blah blah* Daniel must see everything I do for him is to keep him safe. Even going so far as to hurt him.” Poor Vlad “I’m obsessive over an almost 17 year old child and his mother” Masters about to get kicked in the face by Brucie “ I have a batcave in my basement and am ready to throttle people” Wayne.
