a terrace in Llythien |
Llythien, the sister city of ancient Loein, founded at the turn of the third age by the Celaedian. It is home to a population of mostly native northern elves. Denizens claimed Yehl Leandelle as the city's mythe, or patron saint, though the Celaedian named the city for the spirit of compassion and guiding star of the Valen'Lei. Llythien is nestled in the Valley of Sky, beneath the shadow of the palace of Lazu'Lei, now seat of dragondom. There, it is everautumn; an eternally auburn retreat, quiet beneath the golden forests of Starmourne.
autumn always makes me feel inspired, and while I miss building and decorating in the Sims, the game is an eternal struggle. but I've been meaning to carry this passion of mine into Blender for a long time, and translate my ideas and story into 3D. I know there's probably some of you who have no interest in 3D art, for whom I will tag accordingly. for those who are interested, I'll be posting more of Blender scenes here from now on.
this is my first full exterior set in Blender. one I've been working on for two months, on and off. all the assets used in this render I made myself. it's certainly far from perfect, but I hope to improve my skills on doing both interior and exterior renders, and I'll be sharing my photo journey here with a bit of lore dump from the AoA canon. I'll also include little collages of my assets as I make them (I do this anyways as I build up my library). but just to show off more stuff I made (yay)!

Self-Aware BSD. World Building. Getting into their world. Part I
Was thinking about writing this installment ever since I published this post.
Important part of my AU - (most of the) characters don't like Reader at first. Some of them hate Reader, some of them were scared of them, some of the characters doesn't care about Reader etc.
So, what would happen, if Guiding Light got into BSD world before characters start liking them?
Part I
When Reader were transported:
Before Characters gain self-awareness
After characters gain self-awareness but before they start feeling their gaze
After characters start feeling their gaze but before time reset
Warning: OOC. Slight spoilers for LN, Anime and Manga, some characters are dangerous to Reader. English is my second language
____________
If Reader got into BSD World before Characters gain self-awareness
____________
🐾 Terrible moment to be transported. World, full of faceless figures. World, where characters resemble a moving 3D models, that won't react to you, no matter, what you do. If you are strong enough, you will hold yourself together, until Atsushi gains his self-awareness.
Level of danger: 1/10. Hard for mental health, but no one will attack you.
What's good in your situation:
You have a chance to explore Yokohama.
No problems with supplies.
Characters, when they gain self-awareness, will be friendlier to you. They won't associate you with heavy gaze in the sky.
What's bad in your situation:
You might wait for a long time, before characters gain self-awarenes. Depends, on how close to Cannibalism arc you were isekaied.
____________
If Reader got into BSD World after characters gain self-awareness but before they start feeling their gaze
____________
🐾 Tricky one. You can pretend to be a Character, who got self-awareness, but, the chances, that characters will believe you for long are slim. No one saw you before, so, what kind of characters are you, if you have no interaction with any of them? Better tell them the truth about been from the real world.
🐾 Characters are on their guard around you. They aren't sure, if they can trust you.
🐾 While you aren't a Gaze from the sky (for now), you still a person, who knew their secrets.
Tips for interaction:
1. Don't treat them like characters. Don't joke about Chuuya's height, Dazai's suicidal tendencies, Jounou's eyes etc.
2. Never mentioned their likes, dislikes or past. They won't like to be reminded about the fact, that thousands of strangers knew their secrets.
____________
Level of dangers: Depends on Organization you try to stay with.
___________
Armed Detective Agency: 1/10
Ranpo immediately prove your 'innocence'. Yes, you didn't have any idea that they are self-aware. Yes, you didn't know, how did you get there.
Still, ADA will keep an eye on you. Still, will let you go for walks (with at least one of them accompanying you).
____________
Atsushi Nakajima - On his guard, but won't be too unfriendly. Will hurt you only if you attack someone.
Doppo Kunikida - Man is broken by the fact he is not real. You might try to talk to him, he won't be rude to you, but Katai, Yosano, Fukuzawa and Dazai won't let you got too close to him.
Akiko Yosano - Furious about the fact, that she.is a fictional character. Will look after everything you do. It will take her a long time to open up to you. Won't put you in any kind of danger, tho, and, if you got injured, will treat your wounds.
Junchirou Tanizaki - More concerned about his sister. Neutral towards you at that point. Will destroy you, if you make Naomi cry.
Naomi Tanizaki - Neutral and friendly at the same time. Can feel, that you aren't bad person. Don't be rude to Junchirou.
Kirako Haruno - Don't have any bad feelings towards you. Knew, that you are a simple person, who won't hurt anyone.
Katai Tayama - Buried in work. Protective over Kunikida, don't want you near him.
Kenji Miyazawa - sunshine boy. Will be very friendly and polite. Of course, if you didn't do anything bad to his friends.
Kyouka Izumi - Don't trust you. Ready to strike you, if you give her a reason.
Ranpo Edogawa - pretty chill about you. Knew, that you are a simple person and have no chance against them.
Yukichi Fukuzawa - Insist on you to be near him, so he can stop you, if you became a threat. Still, very respectful towards you.
Dazai Osamu - Hard to read. Will always observe you. Don't give him any reason to suspect you.
In conclusion: Not bad to stay with them. They might not trust you fully, but they won't mistreat you or hurt you.
____________
Port Mafia: 5/10
You will be a semi-prisoner for them. Won't keep you in cell, but you can't leave HQ.
Will question you about your world, how you get in their world, etc.
Not very friendly towards you. Treat you with cold, distant respect.
____________
Ougai Mori - Respectful towards you. Won't let any sort of disrespect from you. You can ask him if you need anything, he will make sure, that you aren't harmed.
Elise - Neutral and friendly towards you. Can ask you to play with her. Tried to ask you to prank Mori with her. Don't do it, Mori won't be that forgiving.
Chuuya Nakahara - Neutral and unfriendly towards you. Due to his past, don't like people who try to use him. For him, been a fictional character mean that you might see him as a source of entertainment. Still, won't be that hard on you. Just try not to bother him without reason.
Kouyou Ozaki - Doesn't care about you. She is more concerned about Kyouka. Don't badmouth Kyouka in her presence.
Paul Verlaine - Danger! Paul Verlaine is very angry about the fact that he is a fictional character, on top of been an artificial human. Try not to tun into him. While he won't disobey Mori's orders, it doesn't mean he won't create an incident that will leave you injured.
Ryunosuke Akutagawa - Don't care about you. Don't bother him, if you don't want to be hurt.
Ichiyou Higuichi - Respectful towards you, but won't try to make a small talk with you. Don't want to speak to you.
Ryuurou Hirotsu - Neutral towards you. Will keep you company over a cup of tea, if the chance arises.
Gin Akutagawa - Little bit friendlier, than her brother. Won't lay a finger on you. Not against bringing you something nice.
Michizou Tachihara - Try to interrogate you. There is a chance, that he would try to transfer you to the Hunting Dogs base.
Kyuusaku Yumeno - Love and hate you at the same time. You are the embodiment of chaos for them.
Motojirou Kajii - Neutral, but want to know more about your world. Semi-friendly.
In conclusion: The main danger for you is Verlaine. If you keep your distance from him, everything will be fine.
____________
The Guild: 3/10
Poe was the one, who proved that you aren't dangerous. Guild, as ADA will keep an eye on you. Will let you go for walks.
____________
Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald - interested in your world. Want to know, if you knew, where The Book is. Won't be angry, that you don't know about it. Keep his distance, but makes sure, that you are comfortable.
Edgar Allan Poe - anxious around you, but, it's because of his personality, not because of you been from real world. Will slowly became friendly towards you.
Herman Melville - very respectful towards you. Doesn't feel any negative emotions towards you.
Howard Phillips Lovecraft - curious about you. Still, won't try too much to strike a conversation with you. Don't bother him when he sleeps.
John Steinbeck - Openly rude towards you. He is missing his family, and think, that you are the reason they disappear. Keep your distance.
Lucy Maud Montgomery - while she doesn't like the fact, that, her past was written as tragic, probably for someone else entertainment, she is friendly towards you. Like to chat with you.
Louisa May Alcott - another one who is shy near you. With time, will open up to you.
Margaret Mitchell - Very cold towards you. Miss her family. Keep your distance.
Mark Twain - friendly one. Doesn't treat you seriously. Doesn't treat anything seriously.
Nathaniel Hawthorne - very dangerous, doesn't matter, if he is under Fyodor's influence or not. See you as a threat to Mitchell.
In conclusion: Come to them only if they are your only option. You have three people who are openly hostile towards you. It's unlikely, that they will hurt you, but, staying with three rude people can take a toil at your mood.
____________
Rats in the House of the Dead: 0/10 or 8/10
The only way for you to stay with them - to make Fyodor interested in you. Otherwise, they won't be bothered in letting you stay.
____________
Alexander Pushkin - Doesn't care about you. Too selfish to treat you with respect.
Ivan Goncharov - His feelings towards you depends on Fyodor's feelings. If Fyodor doesn't like you, he will be very aggressive towards you. If Fyodor is neutral towards you, he won't pay attention towards you and won't care about you. If Fyodor sees you as valuable, he will do anything to serve you.
In conclusion: Don't bother to stay with them. But, they are a good way to find Fyodor.
____________
Decay of the Angel: 5/10, 8/10 or 10/10
If you somehow ran into them, you can exchange some information about your world and about BSD plot for staying with them.
Think twice, about staying with them.
____________
Fukuchi Ouchi - Think that you are the reason that his plans were destroyed. May seriously hurt you, if he realises, that you are the Reader.
Bram Stoker - Doesn't care about you. You may talk with him about your world, but be careful. Fukuchi won't like it, if he finds out that you are talking with Bram.
Fyodor Dostoevsky - try to make him see you as a valuable source of information. Don't try to give him garbage information. As long as you are valuable, Fyodor will protect you from Fukuchi and Gogol.
Nikolai Gogol - unpredictable. One moment he is trying to be as close to you as he can, next moment planing your murder. Be respectful, don't try to disagree with his opinion. Try to run into his as rare as you can.
Sigma - neutral and worried about you. Won't be rude, but it will take time to convince him that you don't want to use him.
In conclusion: Sigma and Fyodor are the safest option among DOA. Still, DOA is the most dangerous organization to stay with. If you really have to stay with DOA, better search for Fyodor through Rats.
____________
Hunting Dogs: 2/10
Probably, Tachihara transfer you to Hunting Dogs from Port Mafia.
Hunting Dogs are respectful towards you. Good protectors from Fukuchi.
Fukuchi Ouchi - won't do anything with you. Still, don't like you.
Teruko Okura - was sad, that you were interrogated by Jounou. Nevertheless, don't try to hurt you. Friendly towards you.
Saigaku Jouno - knew, that you have no idea, what happened with them or why are you here. He keeps his distance, can be a little bit sadistic with his words, but not pose any threat towards you.
Tetchou Suehiro - neutral towards you. Treat you as a normal civilian.
In conclusion: Good choice. As long as you don't spill the beans about Fukuchi.
____________
Government and Others: 0/10
You will be supervised. Still, the worst you will get - house arrest.
____________
Santouka Taneda - respectful towards you. Makes sure, that you aren't mistreated.
Ango Sakaguchi - very overworked right now. Simply has no power to care about you.
Mizuki Tsujimura - look after you. Very friendly towards you, try to make sure that you are comfortable.
Yukito Ayatsuji - slightly curious about you. See, that you are a normal person. Treat like a normal person.
Mushitarou Oguri - try to keep his distance. Still can't accept the fact he is a fictional character.
Natsume Soseki - won't try to show himself to you. Observing.
In conclusion: Good choice. They aren't dangerous to you. As long as you don't do anything dangerous.
____________
If Reader got into BSD World after characters start feeling their gaze but before time reset
____________
🐾 Actually, not that different from previous interactions.
🐾 When you hot into their world, they stop feeling Entity's gaze.
🐾 But they found you instead.
🐾 Despite the fact, that characters would add '2' and '2' and understand, that you are The Entity that was looking at them, they won't be really agressive towards you.
🐾 Will they be more cautious? Yes
🐾 Will they treat you colder? Yes
🐾 Will they kill you on the spot? No
🐾 Will they torture you? No
🐾 Will they embarrass you? Humiliate you? No.
____________
Level of Danger:
Armed Detective Agency: 3/10. More cautious. More cold. Yosano and Dazai are ruder. Still, you aren't in danger.
Port Mafia: 6/10. Again, characters are less friendly, but not to the point of harming you.
The Guild: 5/10. Steinbeck, Mitchell and Hawthorne are more hostile, but won't try to do anything drastic.
Rats in the House of the Dead: 0/10 or 8/10. As I mentioned, Fyodor Dostoevsky is the one who plays the music during this party. No difference.
Decay of the Angel: 8/10 or 10/10. Fyodor will be the only one who is willing to interact with you. Sigma is afraid of you, Gogol's feelings are complicated, Fukuchi hates you. Will try to imprison you. Still, won't try to search for you. Just stay away.
Hunting Dogs: 3/10. Fukuchi will try to convince others that you aren't human. He won't sucseed, but Hunting Dogs will more careful.
Government and Others: 2/10. Another group, who will be cautious because of possibility of you not been a human. Still, nothing dangerous to your health.
In conclusion: Hard time to be transported into BSD World. Still, not to the point of been terrified.

for you personally, did you see changes happen in the 3d relating to your desires when persisting -or did 'nothing' happen yet you kept persisting and it showed up in the physical world?
literally nothing would happen. i’d persist for a lil while and then forget about it and it would deadass just show up in my face. and i don’t put forget about it lightly. like i’d get upset cuz i felt that it wouldn’t show up and then have a heart attack when it happened in the next second.
wanted to manifest a test being cancelled but forgot about persisting cuz it was getting close to the due date. bro the DAY of the test is when it got cancelled. i only figured it out when i tried to take it last minute and saw the notification. it took days in the 3d to see jack shit.
i love rainy weather and wanted to take a nap with a storm in the background but i ended up taking a nap to it still being sunny after affirming like a few times. woke up to a loud crack of thunder and the sky being hella dark and grey, rain rushing down my window. went back to sleep and had a hella good nap 💤 😴
OH. i wanted to have a lot of activities in my life cuz i was getting bored around the house. affirmed and persisted for like a week. all of a sudden, my sister in law and brother wanted us all to go to a korean bbq, my mom and i went to a festival, i went to go see a movie, etc etc all in the SAME WEEK.
it is a genuine jumpscare when my 3d conforms but i am telling you, you’re methods or mindset do not have to be perfect, i swear just fulfill yourself even once and see how things change. it could happen slowly or all at once, but it will happen.

Linked Universe Vtubers Au
So I like Linked Universe. I also like Vtubers. The result? LU vtuber AU! This has refused to leave my brain ever since it came up and now you shall live with this too!
It's a basic modern AU but everyone is a Vtubers instead of any normal job they could have. Their Vtuber lore is the same the actual chars, but their Irl counterparts are different. I'll talk about the agency the characters are in later, so have some fact about them!!
The chain
Sky
Married to Sun.
30yrs (may change)
The one's who's been a Vtuber the longest.
Was a pilot before becoming a vtuber due to his wife thinking he would like it.
Was indie before being recruited by the agency (Was called Crimson).
Time
Oldest in the Chain
46yrs
Was still raised in the forest, but not by a tree
Has a teenage daughter named Navi (had her at 31, she's now 15yrs)
Learnt her to speak Kokiri.
Married to Malon
Only have a few cuckoos and some horses instead of a whole ranch.
Warriors
Only became a Vtuber since his wife and daughter likes them and he wouldn't mind some extra income.
Has a toggle in his model to turn into the Fierce Deity.
In a April fool'd stream he has a 3D model of Time as a kid which he used the whole day.
25yrs.
Twins with Linkle and lives with her in an apartment in Castle Town.
Used to live out in the country but moved away since he doesn't have the best relationship with his dad.
Hides his accent, uses a quite posh one.
Worked full time at a make up store in the morning and did night security shifts at 3 times a week before becoming a Vtuber.
Quit because it was making his health way worse and he had more wiggle room when Linkle moved in as she (supringly) also had a job.
Became a Vtuber due to the extra wiggle room. Wanted to be one since they helped him through some tough times.
Wind and Arryl (his cousins) visit him on occasion, and he loves them.
Wind found out his Vtuber identity immideatly, but is not a snitch.
Dating Arthemtis.
Crazy ex Cia that he still had traumas from.
Wild
24yrs
Married to Flora
Used to date Mipha before the accident.
She lived in another country and though she wanted to give him her support, she often couldn't, and since so much about him changed with the memory loss, she sadly had to cut her losses and break up, even if Wild technically didn't know it at the time.
Still looses his memories, but now because of a car crash. His parents died in it and though his sister survived, she didn't go in a coma but went to an unknown relative. Happened when he was 19, awoke when he was 20.
Wheelchair bound but can technically walk and stand, just not good.
Does his best to hide the fact that he's disabled.
His model does not have any scars because of this as he wants it to be perfect, unlike himself (yes, he is in therapy, because who thinks he isn't perfect?)
Became a Vtuber as it was difficult to find jobs he could do whilst wheelchair bound that doesn't pay like shit or force him to move away for college. He also really liked them regardless.
Four
Trans (FtM). Had surgery before the accident and didn't know until he was 21.
Most popular of the chain.
4 streamers in one channel.
Green, Blue, Vio, and Red
Blacksmiths, but has some extra jobs as it doesn't pay too well.
Quadruplets.
20yrs.
Became Vtubers because of Shadow and since they wanted the extra money.
All their desks (+Shadow's) are right next to each other.
Both streams alone and with each other. Rarely all 4 unless it's a special occasion.
Has a model that all four can control at once. Yes, it absolute chaos.
Their individual models are just coloured differently than that one ^^, otherwise looks the same.
Streams at least 4 times a week, one day for each of them.
Green
Dating Dot.
Works part time at a café
Helps with planning their streams and any collabs that their manager doesn't do for them.
Blue
Works at an animal shelter when he's free.
Has almost ruined his set up too many times to count due to gamer rage.
Vio
Non binary (they/them).
Dating Shadow, but hiding it...kind of. They're playing up their relationships for jokes and the community ships them to all hell.
Has a Shadow body pillow that doesn't exist Irl (yet) that their model sometimes holds during streams.
A bit goth.
Works at a library.
Red
Aromantic and Asexual!
Calls his fans his Rubies.
Everyone—including the rest of the chain—will protect him with their life.
Works at a a cat café. It is a different café than Green, and he hides that he's jealous about being able to work there.
Hyrule
Lives in the middle of nowhere and does not know where anything is.
Somehow lives off of hunting (don't worry, he has a license) and the instant noodles etc he buys from the store that's very close to the middle of fuck who knows where.
Somehow still used Internet Explorer when he started. Did not know what Firefox was until Legend explained it to him.
Refused to use Chrome as he didn't know how to change his browser.
Still shocked at being a functioning Vtuber.
Became one because money was getting tight and since he grew up in a village in the middle of fuck who knows where, didn't have too many good jobs he could have.
Legend
24yrs.
Married to Ravio.
Still refuses to wear pants.
Puts even more of a tsundere act when on camera.
Has quite a posh accent but hides it and uses one that's actually normal.
Twins with Fable
Twillight
25yrs.
Dated Midna, but she suddenly broke up with him and he's still slightly heart broken.
Time's (technically Malon's) nephew.
Got a country accent.
Sadly had to move out of Odinia because of college. Now works part time at a veterenarions clinic.
Became a Vtuber because it sounded fun even though he wasn't the biggest fan of it at the time.
On his debut stream he found a toggle to turn his model into a wolf and Legend send a donation just to call him a furry.
Wind
15yrs/18yrs
Doesn't join the agency until he's 18, and he's 15 for most of the stories that I have planned. This may change.
Warriors' cousin. Often visits because his Grandma can't take care of them every day, especially Aryll.
Slowly starts to join streams even though Warriors is very reluctant. Warriors' fans love him.
About the agency and some lore:
The agency is called Fates and their theme is good vs evil. Their first wave was called Inception and had four members: First, Fi, Hylia, and Demise.
They were suprisingly successful, but after 1 year, Demise took a break because of some bad rumours about him started to spread, and not long after, First graduated due to personal issues.
Fates was already in the progress of adding more members, and eventually the new wave by the name of Clouds came out, having 2 new members: Sky—a former indie Vtuber by the name of Crimson—and Ghirahim, who was also an indie before joining the company.
Everything went great, Demise coming back to streaming...but then the rumours came back, and they found out that they weren't just rumours. Demise was quickly terminated as he had been harrasing fans on an alt account, then Ghirahim got terminated as he had been meeting with his fans Irl and given them special bonuses, which even went for outside of his streams.
As a way to save their image, Fates let out a new wave by the name of Destruction shortly after, having 3 members: Vaati, Dark, and Shadow.
Both Sky and the members of Destruction got a fair amount of hate, mostly from people saying that the company is simply trying to replace First and Demise with cheap knock offs.
Fates has open Vtuber auditions for the first time since the agency started, and recruit 7 people that joins a wave called The Chain: Time, Wild, Legend, Hyrule, Twillight, Warriors, Four.
Later they would open auditions again, and have a new wave by the name of Mortality with 4 members: Impa, Calamity, Majora, and Ganondorf.
Other important characters:
First
Most popular member when he was still streaming
Hand picked Sky as his succesor
Fi
Though she technically didn't graduate, rarely streams any more. Now is a higher up in the company.
Helped Sky find his footing at the start.
Sometimes holds Vtuber game shows with Shadow
Hylia/Zelda
The most popular streamer in the agency.
Often has collabs with Indie Vtubers and Impa.
The best at the game show Shadow hosts.
Was re-named to Zelda because of continued harrasment for sharing a name with the goddess.
Has been a Vtuber for (at least) 3yrs.
Vaati
Graduated after 2 years due to the continued hate.
Still talks with Shadow and Dark.
20yrs when he graduated.
Shadow
21yrs.
Lives with the Four gremblins and is dating Vio.
They are way too gay for each my Lord.
From Lolrule.
Darker skinned.
Used to work at the same library as Vio. Only there because no other place would accept him.
Was with the bad boys in High school, is getting better now.
Likes holding game shows for other Vtubers.
Dark
23yrs.
From Lolrule.
Darker skinned.
Quite shy but doesn't show it much.
Can be very childish.
Dyselxic. Why? Because I say so.
People always said he was a teaser for another Vtuber, which was technically true, but he still didn't like hearing it.

OK. Fuck it. More complaining about Tears of the Kingdom. Massive spoilers this time.
TL;DR: Zelda's dragon plan was bad, placing all their eggs in one basket when preparing for Link to fight Ganondorf shouldn't have worked from a Watsonian standpoint and is annoying as hell from a Doylist one, and while not necessarily undoing her development from BotW, Zelda's sacrifice here sets her up for this circumstantial sisyphean cycle of constantly giving up her own agency and personhood for Link.
The dragon plan itself--turning into an immortal being to guard the master sword until her own time--isn't the part of the plan that wouldn't have worked. It's everything else, not just from a story standpoint but from an in-universe, logistical standpoint. Thousands and thousands of years are a long fucking time, even in a fantasy world where the political and cultural landscape seems to be in a bit more stasis. Despite the fact that Hyrule literally has manifest destiny (which is a lot of, uh, thematic implication that's never really been addressed and that I'm not really gonna go into here), to anticipate that the specific set of events leading to the Sages' assistance of Link would transpire exactly the way they needed to is fucking preposterous. Yeah, you could say that it's a bit of a paradox--all of the pieces were already in place for Link and the Sages to fight ol' Ganny, and Zelda was simply retroactively setting them in motion for the future--but that's also stupid, because it would require the Light Dragon and sky islands to have always been there! And they appeared after the initial encounter with Ganondorf, which not only doesn't make sense as a time travel narrative at all, but also implies that before the Upheaval the sequence of events was still wibbly wobbly enough that shit could have gone down very, very differently! It's like the conundrum of how to indicate to future civilizations that certain areas contain radioactive waste--the this place is not a place of honor shpiel, et cetera. How do you leave the ancient all-powerful artifacts that your sages need in order to enact a plan thousands of years in the making, in places that no one will mess with over the millennia between you and them?
Conveniently drop those structures into place--ancient texts describing them and all--right before the second part of the plan goes off, I guess.
And from a narrative standpoint, I think "Thousands of years of meticulous preparation have gone into this One Fucking Super Special Uberguy of Prophecy Foretold getting to defeat the Big Bad. It is foretold that this Super Special Swordsman will be the Only One who can defeat the Big Bad, so we're all going to put our eggs in the Main Character basket in the hopes he actually will" is just. Dumb. it's just dumb. I was going to add the caveat that 'oh well previous zelda games had the reincarnation cycle' but that was a new edition with Skyward Sword. The reincarnation plotline wasn't a thing until the year of our lord 2011, the game that directly preceded Botw/Totk and was by the same director hmmmmm. Before that we had games like Wind Waker, where Link is just Some Kid who gets wrapped up in Hyrule's ancient dusty business while trying to save his sister. Or Twilight Princess, where Link is just Some Guy who gets wrapped up in Hyrule's current dusty business while trying to save the people from his town. Hell, even Ocarina of Time, where Link is the most predestined to be part of Hyrule's dusty business out of all the 3d Zeldas pre-SkSw, is immediately followed by Majora's Mask, where Link only gets wrapped up in Termina's dusty business because he's trying to find his friend. In all of those, Link feels like a generally normal guy who's blessed with strength because of his courage. Even in BotW, Link is just a guy who was Zelda's chosen knight. He nearly died for her, and when he awoke again 100 years later with no memory of who he was, he still rose to the occasion to stop the calamity he had failed to defeat.
In TotK? Link's the Kirito of Hyrule. He's the Special Guy everyone needs to swear fealty to. He's the Special Destined Chosen One. Their last line of defense will be Link.
As for Zelda's narrative sisyphean torture, it just puts a bitter taste in my mouth that after spending so much time giving herself in her entirety to protecting Hyrule, she has to turn around and do it again in a way that she believes is eternal and irreversible.
In BotW, Zelda activates her sealing magic as a personal last-ditch effort to save Link's life. She loves him (I will go to bat for Botw/TotK Zelink still) and she doesn't want to see him die for her and that's enough to finally activate her power. It's a good narrative beat, I liked it--despite my desire for Zelda to have some agency in the narrative that isn't just in direct support of Link, I'm a sucker for some good ol' "powers emerging in defense of a loved one" trope. It's good shit.
But in TotK, Zelda's only purpose is twofold: 1. To be Link's hype man. To set up the aforementioned Dumbshit Kirito Main Character Plan. To set the idiot ball rolling and hope it makes it to the right spot at the end of this cosmic plinko game. 2. To give herself--her mind, her body, her spirit, herself in her entirety--in order to repair the Master Sword and get it back to Link. "Link! Protect them all!" and "Link! You must find me!" are some of what she thinks are her final words. As far as she's come to know and expect by this point, the only purpose she serves now and forever is to pave the way for Link to do his part.
In the moment, meeting TotK where it is as far as her character goes, this development isn't necessarily bad. It's tragic, yes, but from a purely Watsonian perspective it's not the worst solution to her problem, and is the only one presented to her. But from a Doylist perspective it sucks ass. It's the wet fart of storytelling. So many of us have been begging Nintendo for years and years to give us more of Zelda as a character, give us more of her as someone with her own agency and drive within the plot (no, Sheik doesn't count, Sheik is awesome but still narratively only exists in service to Link), but TotK slid so far backward in that regard. Puts a bitter taste in my mouth. (Spirit Tracks had a better Zelda, and she spends most of that game trying to get her own corporeal form back from the BBEGs.)

Roots of a Blooming Lotus
(Birthday story for @sundove88)
Mei Hualing was excited beyond compare. Why you may ask? Today is the one day where she is the center of the universe, The day where she is the only thing that matters. Today was her Birthday. "Mei? Lotus? We have a surprise for you." Her mom, June Hualing called from below.
Mei raced out of her room and ran to the kitchen, where a large cake shaped like a Lotus flower sat in the center. "Happy Birthday Mei!" Her family shouted, he younger siblings blowing noise makers and her parents blowing poppers. Her grandparents also held a small envelope in their hands.
"Happy Birthday big sister!!" Her younger siblings Trey and Lexi shouted, tackling their sister in a hug. "Awwwwwwww! Thank you you two!" Mei shouts as she hugs them back. "Happy Birthday my Dear Lotus." Her father, Daniel Hualing says, joining in on the hug. "Thank you dad!" She says, reaching her arms around to hug them as well.
"Mei Mei! Check out the cake you got!" Trey said, pulling her closer to the table "Mrs Bruno brought it over, she said that she and her niece worked all week on it." Lexi said, her eyes glistening at the 3D lotus made out of cake sitting on the table. "Oh Mei? Me and your grandfather got you something special." Mei's Grandmother, Liam Hualing Said.
Mei was about to ask what it was, when a sudden knock came from the door "I'll get it." June said as she headed over to the entry way. That's when the sound of singing caught Mei's attention as she rushed towards the door as well.
"1! 2! 3! 4!
HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY FROM ALL OF US TO YOU, WE WISH IT WAS OUR BIRTHDAY SO WE CAN PARTY TOO! HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MAY ALL YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE, WE WISH IT WAS OUR BIRTHDAY SO WE COULD PARTY TOO HEY!!!"
Mei was almost blown back by the force of the voices as she smiled. All of her friends, both from her world, and from Wonderworld were there at her front door to wish her a happy birthday. "Happy Birthday Mei!" Rebecca said, a present in her hands.
"Thanks Rebecca!" Mei said, happy to see her best friend on her Birthday "Happy Birthday Dearest Mei!" A disguised Balan said, but not without him standing on his hands like the show off he was. A disguised Lance rolled his eyes as he handed Mei his own gift: A special lotus that seemed to be made out of jewels.
"Thank you Lance, and you too Balan!" She cheered before she turned back to her grandmother, who smiled at the happy child. "I have a special present for you dear." She says, giving her the envelope. Curious, Mei looked inside and found 6 tickets to "Shanghai?!" She shouts. "I figured that it's time for you to visit China." Liam said. Mei enveloped her grandmother in a big hug, a smile overtaking her face.
"Oh thank you thank you thank you!!" She cheered, jumping with joy. The inhabitants smiled as Balan used his magic to make fireworks burst in the sky. The rest of the day was filled with magic and wonder as Mei's birthday became a full blown party. Mei's gifts from the other inhabitants were incredible as well, from Cal giving her a custom chess board filled with Lotus flowers and Negati, to Lucy's portrait of her fighting against Beast Lance
The next week flew by as the Hualings were preparing to leave for their trip. When the day came, everyone from Wonderworld, the inhabitants, and the Wonder Stars came to give a fond farewell to Mei as she boarded the plane "Have fun Mei!" Aria says giving her a thumbs up "See lots of sights!" Rebecca adds before Kaylo tackles her in a hug "Send lots of pictures!" She shouts, helping her back up.
Mei waved one last goodbye to her friends before it was time to board the plane. The flight to Shanghai lasted all night, but by the time that Mei had landed, she and her family had awoken to the to the sights and sounds of China. Mei gave a smile as she finally arrived in China, so much to see! So much to do!
A few days later, in Timeville, Rebecca received a letter from Mei. She brought it over to the Inhabitants, Maestro, and Wonder Stars and she read the letter aloud for them to hear:
To everyone back in Timeville,
Hey Guys! How are you? And how are things in back Home? Me and my family are having a great time in Shanghai! So far we have seen lots of places out here, and learned a lot of history! My favorite places out there are The Shanghai Museum, and the Jade Temple. Trey and Lexi really enjoy the aquarium, and this cool interactive fun house.
I miss you all, but I'm gonna bring back something special! Everything here is so cool! Best Birthday present EVER!
Yours truly, Mei Hualing.
The group smiled as Rebecca finished the letter. Truly a present befitting their Blooming Lotus.

Wanderlust - A Ninjago SI-OC
Summary:
The Realm of Ninjago is made of legends and strings of fate.
The thing is, Val's pretty sure she isn't part of that fate.
Especially considering Ninjago is. Y'know. A children's show.
But then she's thrown into the mix, with no reason or explanation, and the plot starts falling into place right before her eyes. And she's not a hero. Or a love interest. Or a changeling of any sort.
She's just herself, and Fate is wrong.
And apparently, so were the fanfics.
Because living in Ninjago is no dream. It's a nightmare.
And Val's gonna make sure she wakes up on the other side of the screen.
CHAPTER ONE: BEFORE TIME HAD A NAME
It takes Vale half an hour of hyperventilating and one full hour of dry heaving to get to a somewhat calm state.
But holy fucking hell she’s not real she’s not real nothing is fucking real holy shit-
So yeah she’s a bit more calm now. Or at least not struggling to breath.
Her eyes flit around the trees, the ground beneath her body, her own clothes, the silhouette of a village from beyond the cliff. Nothing looks real, and Vale takes that with a pained inhale and dull senses.
And though her mind recognizes that this can’t be real, that the world cannot look anything but real, she finds herself not panicking, anymore. Her mind’s just…null. Her body is null. All the burning of her muscles, her tears, her throat, all of that gave way to a feeling of not-belonging, of not acknowledging her muscles like her own, of feeling like she’s looking from somewhere above where her body lays.
And still, with no fear clouding her brain and no more frantic running, the world stays cartoony-looking and Jade’s nowhere to be found.
It’s kind of like a mix, the way the world looks, Vale detachedly registers while her tears dry up. It’s almost 2D, all lines and careful details, but it also looks 3D, because there’s depth when she turns her hand over, and not just smooth animation. She’s never seen this particular style before in any movie or show, so she’s got no name to give it, and having no name for the way reality settles around her only pushes her mind more into a hazy, unfeeling state.
And what can she do about that? About the world not looking real anymore? About her bleeding, missing sister, about the Pink Horror, about being nowhere near her town?
Vale stands up, unstable despite the steady ground, and one foot after the other, she makes her way down the cliff.
It’s all so colorful.
So alive.
And it’s not real, not real at all, but the way the clouds swirl up above like in an old chinese painting, the golden, warm tones of the sky clashing with the green of the fields, and the dashing red colors of the village, looking worn down and lived in even from so far away is so- is so…
Vale feels her heartbeat in her fingertips, feels the weight of each of her steps hitting the ground, feels the bite of a cold breeze against her cheeks. The world is not real and neither is she, but people live here, in this cartoony, not real world. And that’s enough to breathe a bit of life back into her body.
It doesn’t stop the image of the Horror from flashing in her head whenever she blinks, or ease her growing headache, or rid her of the Pit, still present even after calming down from her panic. But it’s a start, she thinks, so she takes a painful breath and continues walking.
Soon enough, Vale finds a path between the wavy fields, and with hopes of finding civilization, she starts following along. Slowly, as she regains strength and life, the path turns to stone, and electricity poles start marking the way. The village becomes closer, step by step, and then there’s people siding the path, planting and harvesting, and Vale can’t help but stare at them, mind going hazy once more.
They, like her, are a weird mix of 2D and 3D, looking animated but having depth and detail, like an ever-shifting piece of art, not settling for one style or the other. Her staring earns her the attention of the workers, and Vale musters up what little control she has over herself to offer them a doubtful smile. The workers smile in return, some even waving at her, and Vale’s smile becomes a little less strained as she waves back.
Returning to the stone path, she takes into consideration not the reality or the impossible way that she appeared and disappeared, first in the cave and then in the fields, but all the other details of the world around her. The workers were all wearing straw hats and old-looking clothes. The electricity poles were made of wood. The stone path looks handmade, and not machine-created or made of poorly mixed cement.
It looks all very traditional, very rural, and Vale wonders if she’s having an anesthesia induced hallucination.
…it makes sense.
(No it does not.)
Jade went out into the woods and got hurt, and when Vale found her bleeding down a ravine, she was so frantic she slipped, fell and hit her head at the bottom. One of the many people that saw her running off to the forest got worried and decided to follow, eventually finding both her and her sister half-dead on the ground, and then called for more people to help carry them to the hospital. There they pumped her full of sleepy serum and she’s been hallucinating the whole thing ever since.
(Because it’s that or her sister’s dead.)
The crystal cave was probably the doctors, trying to snap her awake.
(Because it’s that or the world’s not real.)
All the weird lines of how everything is formed is just the serum making her head swim.
(Because it’s that or she’s not in her world anymore.)
…yeah, that’s probably it. She’s just…a little bit on drugs. That’s all.
A tap on her shoulder startles Vale onto the air, and she’s hit with the realization that she stopped walking, so lost in thought. An old man is by her side, wearing a white robe with black, swirling details and a straw hat. He holds a wood staff firmly in one hand, his hair collected on a small bun, and his beard, twisted around his lips in amusement, falls right above the middle of his chest. He looks like a monk, almost, chinese features sill recognizable in his face despite the 2D wrinkles adorning it, and Vale wonders, briefly, how come she didn’t hear him approaching.
“Got a little distracted, hmm?”
‘¿…qué?’
Vale stares at the man in bafflement, because why the fuck is he speaking english? Vale doesn’t know more than a few words of the language, and most of them consist of numbers and colors, anyway. She doubts her hallucinations should be able to speak that fluently when she can’t even get the phonetics right.
Something flashes through the man’s benevolent eyes, too fast for Vale to catch, and she hurries to explain, too caught up in the normalcy of their interaction to fall back into her panicked nothing-is-real-I’m-hallucinating state.
“I don’t speak english.”
The man stares at her impassively, one of his eyebrows slightly raising in polite confusion.
“English?”
‘¿…huh?’
“Uh…what?”
The man raises his other eyebrow.
“Sorry, sorry, I don’t- uh- …I don’t speak english.” Vale gives the man an unsure smile - more of a grimace, if she’s being honest - and waits for him to speak. The man takes his time, studying Vale up and down with careful glances and languid strokes of his beard. Her brain’s not really working right, still too over-charged with the fact that everything looks animated and her sister’s probably dead and the Pink Horror is a thing that exists, but even then she can tell something’s wrong. And she tries to figure it out. Really, she does. But she’s too engrossed by the fact the man speaks english. And good english, at that. Not the broken one she’s used to hearing in class, or the fast-paced gibberish that comes out of english-speaking youtuber’s mouths. It’s fluent and slow, with a correct accent and the inflexion of old age, and- Vale hasn’t ever heard anything like that before. She couldn’t possibly replicate it, neither with her tongue or with her mind.
…they gave her too much serum, she decides as the man stops his evaluation, eyes just a tad bit too sharp for a hallucinated person, and her heart seems to burn at the thought.
He really shouldn’t be speaking in english.
“Would you care to follow me, young lady?”
Vale stares at the man, confused and still a bit hazy. He asked something, that much she can tell by the lilt of his voice. But what…?
The man tilts his head to the side, robe caught in the slight breeze, and seems to think to himself. He points a hand to his chest, as if in formal greeting, and bounds their eyes together. His eyes are gray, Vale distantly registers, but right in the center of them, she thinks she catches a golden shine.
“My name is Wu.”
Relief flooding her chest, Vale smiles and copies the man’s gesture, overjoyed that she understood what he said.
“Wu,” she repeats. “My name is Vale.”
“Vahle?”
And off went her slight moment of calm. The way the man – Wu, apparently – pronounced her name was- it was-
So fucking off.
His voice toned it so weird, starting too hard and ending with an accentuation that really shouldn’t be there.
Vale shakes her head, eyes widened in confused worry.
“No. No that. Vale.”
Wu, at the very least, makes an effort to sound out her name. But again, it’s too heavy and twisted and not at all hers.
“Vha-lè?”
“No, no. It’s no that. It’s- It’s-” Vale looks for a way to explain herself with the few words she knows, but a crawling cold is taking over her chest and her head feels swimmy and she really doesn’t want to deal with a hallucinated man’s english-chinese-whatever accent.
“Val,” she settles for, looking at the man almost pleadingly, no doubt seeming a little insane with her red eyes and ruffled hair. Heart now heavy inside her chest, she repeats with a hoarse voice.
“My name is Val.”
The man wanted her to follow him, Vale manages to understand after a game of charades.
They walk in silence, thankfully, going up and down small mountains and passing more villagers, all hard at work. Vale’s too conscious of herself now that she’s walking by the man’s side to give them more than a glance-over, but she notices how they’re all wearing the same clothes, and how all men and all women seem to look exactly alike. She strains her ears once they pass near a group, and is pulled farther into a cold, hazy panic when she realizes they’re speaking in english, too.
Her mind is torn at this.
Why are they speaking english, goddammit? She lives in Argentina, for god’s sake. And not even in one of the popular cities where tourists might go. She lives in a tiny little rural town in the middle of nowhere. It takes hours to get to the province of Buenos Aires, let alone the city. And yet all the people around her speak the most perfect english she’s ever heard, and she can’t understand a word of it.
She can’t be hallucinating this, not without good reason. So either some english speaking doctors somehow got to Uriburu to help her and her sister, or…or…
(The world can’t not be real.)
…Vale decides to not think of it anymore.
If this is a hallucination, she’ll wake up soon enough. She just needs to follow Wu wherever the fuck he’s leading her in this imaginary land, and not let her mind wander to the silly, panicky, frightening and obviously not real possibility that she’s not in her world anymore.
Because she is in her world.
She is.
Because how could she not?
Shifting, as the internet named it, simply doesn’t exists. It doesn’t happen, it can’t happen, it’s- impossible. No matter how hard someone tries to enter the story of a book, a movie, a painting or anything with whatever method they think will work, trans dimensional travel can’t be achieved. Sure, the idea is cool. The massive amount of popular isekai stories proves that. But it’s not real.
It is not.
(…is it?)
And so, Vale sets her mind straight, focusing on the sky and the grass and the people and on the old man walking at her side.
Wu looks serene, his steps silent, and it seems he knows where the stone path leads, unlike her. There’s this confident shine in his eyes, and the soft thuds of his staff hitting the ground are calming. In no time at all, Vale finds that her heartbeat aligns with it, her breaths now even and smooth. Wu takes notice of this.
“I take it you’re feeling better?”
“What?” Vale turns her head around to stare at Wu, startled. She grew too accustomed to the quiet, it seems, and now Wu’s eyes are slightly crinkled in worry. He hides it well, or at least Vale thinks he does a decent job of it, but in this 2D-3D style the world is in, every single little shift is clear.
 “You’re calmer now, yes?”
“Uuuuh…” Val just stares at the man, struggling to figure what he said.
‘¡Fonética, Vale, fonética!’ she reminds herself, latching onto how Wu sounded out his words.
“Uh- hmm…calmer…calm- calma? Calma?” Tripping over her words, Vale stares questioningly at Wu, who, of course, doesn’t understand a word she says. They stare at each other for a few seconds, and then Vale’s running her mouth again, hoping both to maintain the conversation and to kill it quickly. “You ask...I’m calm?” Despite her odd phrasing, Wu nods, and Vale almost drops in relief. “I am calm.”
Wu stares at her hard. Vale gets the impression he doesn’t believe her a whole lot.
“Ah, of course.” Is his response. Then he stops, and Vale stops right after, staring worriedly at the man. Did she say it wrong?
Wu turns his gaze from her to the horizon, and after following his gaze, Vale finds that they’re almost to the end of the path. They’re right at a crossroad, with the right diversion leading to the now not-so-faraway village Vale saw when she woke up. The left diversion goes past yet another harvesting bunch of people and up a hill, where a small building lays. Vale narrows her eyes at it. The building has white – gray? – walls and a black roof. It has big windows, or so it seems from where Vale stands, and it’s surrounded by many rocks and trees with red leaves. There’s also a water tank, she notes, though it looks unstable, and she wonders briefly how it’s weight hasn’t pulled the whole thing over.
At her side, Wu hums and starts walking in the left diversion of the path. Vale has not much of an option but to follow, as she’s been doing for the last…how much time has it been?
And then, in a blink, they’re at the doors.
Or, well. The entrance.
Instead of a door, the front wall has a wide opening that lets you see inside. There, there’s armor and spears and a shining orange glow that can only belong to a fire. Vale’s attention remains on the outside of the building, though. There’s a stand just at the front with a few small weapons put on display, and distantly, Vale hears herself wondering if the building is a shop.
But still, that is not what’s attracting Vale’s gaze.
On top of the building, resting on the roof, there’s a banner. It has a pretend samurai helmet and weird symbols that Vale can only vaguely identify as kanji. Her insides drop, and she finds herself struggling to breathe once more. The people around here speak english. Why the fuck is there kanji written on the banner?
“…no matter how much fire you have, experience isn’t something you learn overnight.”
Tuning back into reality, Vale watches with an unfocused gaze as the people running the shop talk. Wu walks past the stand and into the shop, making his presence known as Vale organizes her thoughts.
“Hmm…” he starts, catching the attention of a girl wearing a pretty red dress standing behind the stand and of a guy further inside the shop who’s holding a twisted sword. “Your metal is loud and heavy,” he says, sweeping his gaze over the room. “Useful to slow one down. Useless in the art of stealth. All tools for a samurai,” he drawls, tapping on a helmet held in display. The thing almost falls over, miraculously staying put on a mannequin’s head, but it still makes Vale flinch backward as Wu finishes speaking, “but nothing for a ninja?”
“Ninja?” The guy asks, sounding amused, setting down a hammer and the twisted sword on a stool. Vale forces herself to focus on him. He’s the first person she’s seen who looks different than the Harvesters, apart from Wu and the girl at the front. His skin is tan, and his hair is brown and spiky, styled dramatically. He’s wearing an apron over a loose, white shirt, and it becomes obvious, what with the forge behind him and the many weapons decorating the place, that he’s a blacksmith. He doesn’t look much older than her, though, especially not in the animated style of the world, so maybe an apprentice, like her. That would explain the cut on his left eyebrow.
What catches her attention the most, though, are his eyes. They’re a goldish brown, lit up by the forge, and Vale knows that were the world not animated, they wouldn’t have looked the same pretty, dark color.
“You’re a long way from finding a ninja in these parts, old man.” The boy says, bringing Vale back to the moment. He points a finger to where she stands, and she’s halfway through taking a step back when she realizes he’s pointing somewhere above her, his gaze still firmly on Wu. “And the shop is called Four Weapons, not ‘For Browsing.’” He gets closer to Wu now, pressing his finger right into his chest. He frowns, and when he speaks, there’s an annoyed edge in his words. “Either buy something or go peddle your insults somewhere else.”
“Ha!” Wu takes a step back, looking at the boy with an emotion between distaste and amusement. “Too bad. Thought I’d find something special here.”
With that, he turns around, nodding curtly at Vale. She has no idea what the fuck was said, only understanding that Wu and the boy were having a discussion based on their tones and their body language, so she’s pretty confused when Wu starts walking around the house instead of going away. Still, while she may not understand words, she can take a hint, and with that she sets off behind the man.
Behind them, she can hear the boy still talking, but the noise soon stops as her and Wu enter through a small, round opening on a wall behind the shop.
“Hmm, perhaps I should wait another year,” Wu mutters, and Vale stares confusedly at him. The place they’re in now looks like the shop’s backyard, and she’s not sure the boy gave them permission to be here. Maybe Wu’s a family member of some kind?
Wu glances at her. Still not quite back from a disassociation episode, she stares right back with cloudy eyes. He sighs.
“Come, child. Perhaps I’ll find how to help you back in the monastery.”
He nods toward the round opening, walking back to it, and Vale’s just so fucking lost. They just came here, but now he wants to leave? Why? What is going on with this man? What the fuck did he say to the guy in the store? Who was the guy in the store?
Vale opens her mouth, limited knowledge of english be damned, to try and ask just that-
-and the sky starts turning black.
“What,” is what she says instead, eyes going wide as she looks up and past Wu. He’s now completely still, and Vale guesses that he’s as startled as her.
“The gates to the Underworld have been opened,” he says, and he sounds surprised and disbelieving and just the tiniest bit concerned. Vale distantly wonders if she should be concerned too. It’s then that the roaring starts.
Her and Wu share a look, both of them bewildered. They rush for the opening as one.
And there, on the cliff, surrounding the shop, are…
…skeletons.
Riding motorbikes. Motorbikes made out of bone.
SKELETONS?
‘¡¿Pero qué carajo?!’
The skeletons all get off from their vehicles and start approaching the shop, and Vale can’t do nothing but stare and shake because what the fuck what the fuck what the fuck skeletons? Living skeletons? What?
At her side, Wu stiffens, his eyes sharpening. Were Vale paying attention to him she’d see the smallest hint of fangs poking through his frowned lips. But as it is, she’s too engrossed by everything going too fast too fast too fast and seeing skeletons of her size walk around holding weapons. Are they animated? Yes, of course they are. But yet they look so realistic. So detailed and alive despite their cartoony looks. They’re walking and cackling and their eyes float inside their sockets, glowing red.
She’s never seen anything like this and she’s going to throw up.
From the corners of her vision, she sees a skeleton being thrown off the cliff, so Vale tosses all her life preservation instincts aside and pokes her head out further. The brown-eyed boy and the Red Dress girl are fighting with the shop’s weapons, and from what little she can see, they’re faring pretty well. That is, until a bigger skeleton comes around. Having been separated from the girl by a new horde of skeletons, the boy stands alone against them. He holds up his sword, smirking. The skeleton takes out four daggers in turn.
‘...¿Tiene cuatro brazos?’
As bewildering as everything is, the scene itches at her brain, and Vale gulps in preparation. She has the sinking feeling that something’s gonna go down. Considering how things went when she last got the feeling an hour ago, she hopes it’s not the boy.
Rotten luck, it seems. The four-armed skeleton easily outmatches him, throwing the boy clean on his back.
And then Wu sets out running and is enveloped by golden light.
‘¿Qué-?’
But- no. Vale watches with a startled gaze as the light takes form around Wu. It’s not just golden light, it’s-
It’s a tornado.
Out into the battlefield, Wu shouts, “Ninja-go!”
Vale’s breath catches in her throat.
It’s spinjitsu.
The world slows down.
The four-armed skeleton drags their daggers against Wu’s tornado, it’s magic golden energy turning and flowing and letting out sparks. Behind them lays the boy, eyes wide as he struggles to stand up, the armor he’s put on for the fight pinning him down. Further behind them, the girl keeps on fighting a group of skeletons, her red dress caught in the wind as she kicks at a skeleton’s head. On her back there’s a golden symbol, one that’s been burned into Vale’s brain since she was a child.
Everything seems to click into place, inside her head.
And then the worlds rushes back into a flurry of color, and Vale moves before her thoughts can clear.
She speeds out of the backyard and past Wu’s battle, sliding down onto her knees next to the boy- next to Kai. She grabs onto his shoulder and attempts to pull him up, keeping her attention on the fight. Her eyes stay wide and her breathing ragged as Kai tries to rise to his feet, just as stunned.
“What in the world-?”
And then Samukai throws his daggers at the water tower and it starts falling down towards them.
‘Verga-’
Vale blinks. She doesn’t even get to think about running before being tossed aside in a flash of light, falling down onto the ground. Beside her, she hears Kai grunt. Her everything screams at her, and when she opens her eyes, she sees the hazy form of Wu standing above them, staff held firmly in both hands.
“Lord Garmadon says take the girl!”
Wu turns back to look at Samukai, shocked. “Lord Garmadon?”
But the skeletons already launched their attack, grabbing onto Nya with a giant, bony hand. She’s dragged onto a bone monster truck screaming, and her brother scrambles after her, trying and failing to catch up.
“Nya!”
But despite his screams, the skeleton army speeds away.
‘…mierda.’
Now panting, Vale rolls on the floor until she’s curled in a ball, looking with tired eyes as Kai watches after her sister’s kidnappers. Then Wu bonks him in the head with his staff, and Kai turns around snarling. They start discussing as she slowly stands up, staggering to seat on a rock near them. Her head hurts.
A skeleton army.
A man with a white rob who wields a staff and golden power.
A blacksmith and his sister, who got kidnapped.
Lord Garmadon. And Wu. And Samukai and Kai and Nya.
Spinjitsu.
(“Ninja-go!”)
…fuck.
The air shifts next to her, and she tilts her head around to find Kai now sitting at her side. He only gives her a glance before turning his gaze back to Wu, who seems to be telling a story. Vale pays it no attention. She won’t understand anything he says.
And yet, in another language, she knows his speech by heart.
“Long before time had a name…”
Feeling light, Vale holds up a hand in front of her, Wu’s words bringing with them a sense of foreboding.
It’s shaking. And twitching. And animated.
But at least it’s not a lego.
Because that’s where she is now.
There’s no dismissing it at this point, no going back to ‘it’s a dream’. Not with how hard her head hurts, not with the way her lungs burn, not with her sister’s blood still feeling so present in her hands.
Not with Wu telling Kai the legend of the First Spinjitsu Master right in front of her eyes.
She’s in the world of Ninjago.
Yeah so i noticed most fics rush? Through the pilots? And Kai's training montage? And also the time after the pilots but before season one. I think that's a bit of a waste, so. Prepare for long chapters (when i bring myself to write them).
Hope you enjoyed!

2023 review
Hi beans! I bring you an art dump of all my art made in 2023 because I keep forgetting this website exists. (It's c/pd from my Patreon, that's how bad I am.)
First up is a book cover I made for my sister (Daina Rustin - Demon Hunter, not published), that I actually started a year or two ago, but had the last push/rework in January and called it finished. I’m also adding the sword concepts I made for it, even though they were technically done in 2022, as I haven’t shared them before.
In February, I did some figure and hand studies with some friends on the NFC discord, and thumbnailed a bunch of locations and ideas for Sky Across illustrations. March was the beginning of my character concept art project for the main character of Sky Across - Aurelia.
Started with figure drawings, then outfit variations and explorations for different uses and settings. After that it was colour variations, and the last one is a finished character illustration. I also spent some time doing general research and working on worldbuilding, writing and designing certain elements that will be important for the story later on :>
At the beginning of June, I started working on a “props” section for my portfolio. I made it so far that I made a whole 3D/blender scene with them, and then…. I wasn’t excited about painting them. I kept pushing it around, sort of like pushing food around your plate when you have no appetite. After some time staring at that task in my calendar, I decided I would be better off doing something that ✨ sparked joy ✨ instead. So, I painted a new Witcher fanart piece.  It was done in anticipation of the third season of the show on Netflix…. That I still haven’t finished. Oops.
July and August were a big dud for me, art-wise. I was going through a rough period and I was busy with real-life issues.
September was a big month for me as that was when my ADHD diagnosis was approved and I finally got medicated. I think I did more things (in general) in that first week than I did in the entire July+August. I finally saw the bottom of my dirty laundry basket after 7 years.
Art wise, I did another bunch of thumbs for my Sky Across illustration, I set up the references I needed in Daz3D and Blender, and I got an offer to work on an exciting freelance project so I jumped on the research and thumbnails for that as well. The project is still in progress, and I'm looking forward to sharing it next year!
September was also when I drew Hopper, Nickie’s cat, in pencils. I used to do a lot of traditional art in the past so I didn’t think it would be complicated, despite not having drawn a realistic cat in over a decade…. I always forget how humbling traditional work is. Nickie visited my hometown and I travelled back home to meet her and see my family <3
I got a cold as soon as I returned and that slowed down my zoomies for a few weeks, some family/personal issues happened, and I had to start branching out before I was ready to - which is how Patreon and Twitch came to be. The rest of September and October were spent on YouTube researching and developing “passive” income ideas.
I won’t be talking about Oct/Nov pieces as I’ve already done that in the previous few posts. In short, art zoomies picked back up in October, I managed to knock out some presents for friends and some fanart pieces, only to be absent for the majority of November again because I had/was recovering from Covid. (I’m still coughing 💀)
Over the course of the year, I did some animal drawings as presents for friends - Joe’s wonderful sassy corgi Dennis that I'm plotting to kidnap (at least for a day, if I ever make it to the UK), Joel’s cat Kissa that looks like someone spilled ink all over, Isla’s cat Skye that has seen all of the horrors of the universe, and I’m cooking something up with my own cat - Azriel.
I started working on another illustration for Sky Across featuring the same character I concepted at the beginning of the year, I'm streaming the process on Twitch when I can, and I started a little banner illustration for socials that I noodle on from time to time.
There were a few bits and bobs that I don’t feel are worth mentioning, and some Blender practice things that aren’t really worth sharing but were great practice.
All in all, this year was mostly marked by a million doctors’ exams, a big focus on exercise/physical therapy, dealing with ~feelings~ about medical issues, and general financial uncertainty. But also more art than I made in a long while, so swings and roundabouts!
I'm really proud that I've managed to handle and organise so many health-related things, and I'm getting better at judging how much I can do and schedule for myself, recognizing when I need to take time off and when I can afford to push things. I hope to do more original illustrations and concepts next year, and I’m adding traditional art to my calendar for next year as I’ve been itching to experiment more. I’m very grateful to my family and friends that held me up, I wouldn’t have been able to manage without them <3
Hope you have a successful 2024 and may all your dreams come true!
Until next time,
xo

So I saw Her blue sky an anime movie on prime video and it's good.
The premise is a little crazy , two orphaned sisters and the older one stays in town to raiser the young instead of going to Tokyo with her music boyfriend. Tem years later he shows up as a background musician for some big shot in the town festival , but now he's a bitter asshole. St the same time his younger version appears as an spirit to the young sister in his old practice spot ?.
And the two of them play Rick together.
The character's are well designed , the setting is beautiful and the animation slams.Even if it has some 3d animation it's used mostly for vehicles and the character's are in 2d.
Music is a central theme of this movie. I like the contrast between youthful dreams and the sad reality of trying to make it in the art world.
Nitobe is the best. I like crazy 9ld musicians he even make me like enka.

Fairies and Fae Spirits
Masterlist
Started watching PH playthroughs bc I got tired of not being in the know tbh. Controversial opinion but I love the gross 3ds graphics and the repetitive nature of the Temple of the Ocean King. Been a little while since I’ve written one of these so hope you like it. I just got back into school again and it’s my sister’s birthday so I only had enough time to post my drafts.
Ask box is always open for any questions or specific requests for more headcannons. These headcannons are exactly what it says on the tin so consider it my AU of the LoZ franchise. This is not a 100% accurate telling of the series and is full of theories and original ideas!
Content under the cut!
The fae have inhabited Hyrule since the early years of its existence. First created by the Golden Goddesses as another small species of magical creatures, they were few and far between. Each fae was made from the light and magic stolen from dying stars dotted around the skies and were given the role of healers for the other tribes with their naturally occurring magic. These creatures were often mischievous and quite intelligent, aided more by their ability to turn invisible or exude a bright light when experiencing a strong emotion. Rumours came from the three tribes that fae could be dangerous if not kept in check, and so were tamed and calmed by offering sweet foods or scents.
In the times of Skyloftians, the fae had become much smaller and developed wings as mechanisms to flee from predators during the War of Gods, and became much more commonly known as fairies. They imitated a humanoid appearance after a few hundred years and used the glow from their wings for survival, identification, and to lead others to safety. Another form of the fae took their stead much later, being the more Hylian-like Kokiri, who later became Koroks, and adopted their close relatives as companions in life.
Many fairies banded together under a kind of leadership depending on the region they resided, though seemed to have very positive ideas of one another. They were known to travel alone or in small groups of two or three.
A fairy is always produced through supernatural means. In the Era of the Sky, this meant through the Golden Goddesses creation or Hylia’s intervention for those who knew of the sacred symbol. Later into Hyrule’s establishment, a fairy could be produced through the flapping of a Great Fairy’s wings collecting its magical dust together into a new fairy.
Upon the first Great Fairies’ (at that point known as Great Mothers) appearances in the world, the fairies seemed to fall into their leadership quite easily due to their preestablished groupings. They were known as the daughters of the Great Fairies and fell into one of three social roles; tending to their Great Fairy, protecting their place of worship, or adventuring to find new territory and threats. Since all fairies possess healing magic and are otherwise immortal, they only die once their magic runs out. This often happens they heal a traveller (larger creatures included since the size of the person dictates how much magic is used). Because all fairies have an instinctual urge to heal the injured, the Great Fairies feel incredibly protective towards their daughters. As an alternative, the fairies are encouraged to lead the traveller to the Great Fairy instead.
Despite this, fairies are often encouraged to wander the world (depending on their role) and have their own independence, meaning that they often meet other races and become companions if they so choose. This is historically seen with Hylians and fae spirits such as Kokiri/Koroks, who are able to hear the fae language. Hylians have the ability to hear it due to their pointed ears being able to hear languages of immortals. The language sounds like the jingling of bells to those unable to understand. Over the years, Hylians have been able to only hear parts of the language due to the races’ very limited interaction, and by the time of the Era of the Wild, only a few select people deemed close to the gods have been able to understand even the smallest details of the language.

Vegan Chipotle Musical Cooking with Count Macrula and Count Macrula, Jr.
We Set Up The Castle and Instruments.
Count Dracula, a silver cub wearing a black jacket and black pants, FreeLee the Banana Girl, and Nicole returned from Publix with a boat ton of groceries for tonight's Chipotle Mexican Grilling. Joebear and the spirit of Colonel America were smashing the TVs because they didn't work correctly.
Getting through this party was going to require a lot of patience.
FreeLee the Banana Girl saw the TVs being destroyed and was pleased.
"Send FreeLee the Banana Girl to the heavens! She is done here!" Count Dracula shouted as bright white lightning shot out of his milky white palms into the black clouds swirling above them.
FreeLee the Banana Girl floated up to Heaven. Her long blond locks hung down from her head as she was taken up in a green leaf dress. The jungle princess's soul would now be in Heaven.
"Jungle Boogie" by Kool & the Gang played in the background: https://youtu.be/-BM5wPOe0xQ?si=sgMjTlocuLBpukgW.
Bananas were falling out of the sky. Some of us were eating bananas. Joebear ate two bananas.
I nodded and shed tears of joy as I watched her float up in the skies above. Then, the music moved my soul and gave me the urge to jungle-boogie in celebration of her life. I was happy to give into that urge.
Joebear did not jungle boogie because he really hated disco. Out of frustration, he then grabbed a TV, walked outside, and defecated on it.
"This WILL NOT DO!" Count Dracula shouted in a booming thunderous voice.
Lightning struck the house of Colonel Mac, the gray bear that hosted tonight's festivities, and turned it into a crisp.
The song abruptly stopped, and Kool was burned to a crisp. The gang scattered and waited for the drama to die down.
"We need a castle in order to have Vegan Chipotle with Count Macula, Jr!" Count Dracula shouted. He sang in dark angelic language while spooky music played in the background before he shouted, "HOOOMMEEE!!!!" in a baritone language and spread his arms wide.
A gothic castle with a pointed roof descended slowly from the sky onto the family of gray bears' property.
We were all of a sudden surrounded by great high cathedral ceilings that were painted with Colonel Mac's family photos, including his long lost cousin's sister's brother's former college roommate, whom he mentioned was absolutely nobody to him.
The black van of Macmillan, Colonel Mac's father, was parked in a valet garage between a beautiful white chariot and a black 1933 hearse that looked like the one used in the first Dracula movie.
Colonel Mac's tin computer desk was upgraded to dark oak desk with multiple drawers and a place to put the computer. The computer was a top-of-the-line desktop model with a 3D monitor.
Dressing Up For The Chipotle Party
Count Macula Jr. himself began to transform again. His gray hair was now silver, so he was a silver bear. He also had bat wings and even sharper teeth. "Coooool!!!! Cool! Cool! Cool! Cool! Cool! Cool! Cool!" he shouted in song as his high-pitched Southern voice echoed in the castle. He had a nervous tic that made him feel the need to repeat himself eight times.
"WOW!!! This kitchen looks incredible!!!" Lindsay, my brunette friend with large brown eyes, shouted as she poked her head in the kitchen door. "I didn't know Colonel Mac lived in a gothic castle! Wow!!!" She was wearing a royal red princess gown. She was now Princess Lindsay Carrington from Savannah, GA. Her husband was Prince Carrington from London. They both were from a British descent apparently.
Greetings and Reintroduction
Count Macula, Jr. skipped over to her and stared at her. "Dear Princess, my name is no longer Colonel Mac," he said in a higher-pitched Southern accent before he bowed low to the ground and danced a jig.
Princess Lindsay Carrington stared at the silver cub in front of her. "Excuse me. I was addressing Colonel Mac. I know not of whom thou art," she spoke as she chewed on a nacho.
"I am Count Macula, Jr! I have become a silver cub due to Count Macrula granting me vampiric powers. I am a vambear," the silver cub said as he looked directly at Princess Lindsay Carrington.
"So you're telling me that you were formerly known as Colonel Mac and that you are now Count Macula, Jr.?" Princess Lindsay Carrington asked.
"Yes," Count Macula, Jr. said before he sang and danced to the quick notes a vampire from The Gang was playing on an organ. "Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!"
The rest of The Gang played disco instruments in the beat of the yeses.
"So much can happen in a grocery shopping trip!" Princess Lindsay Carrington said dramatically as she almost fainted, but landed on a maroon couch instead.
Patches, Princess Lindsay Carrington's cat, walked in the kitchen and meowed loudly while Vampire and the Gang played long notes on their instruments. They shook the whole fucking castle.
"JEE WHIZ!!! WHAT DO YOU WANT?!" Count Macula, Jr. shouted like Tyler1 as he skipped in the kitchen. He had a widow's peak and intense brown eyes. Needless to say, he had a set of lungs on him.
"Are you Count Colonel Mac?" Patches asked.
"NO!" Count Macula, Jr. shouted.
Vampire and the Gang played the same note for three seconds.
Cooking Began; We Were Hungry
Joebear, Colonel America's spirit, Count Macrula, Mr. Williamson, Princess Lindsay Carrington, Kendrick, Pauno, and Peter's therapist, Jaybird, and I started cooking the vegan taco mac after our ear drums were assaulted. I had to eat a banana because I was starving.
We were sorry we had to interrupt Count Macula, Jr.'s shouting rant, but if we planned to eat that day, we had to get started.
"NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!" Count Macula, Jr. shouted as he jumped in rhythm with his shouting. "I have no affiliation with the military, nor do I want to. I don't believe in murder. I'm a passive bear, although because my fur is now silver," he said before he took a deep breath. "MY LUNGS ARE STRONGER THAN EVER!!!"
"EAR ASSAULT!!!" Tyler1 yelled as he covered his ears. "He is louder than me."
Colonel America's spirit wavered in the air. "I have returned to fill an important role in this story. I am the logic in this otherwise completely illogical nonsensical saga," he announced as he began to boil the canned beans.
"Not to mention the Colonel role," Count Macrula stated as-a-matter-of-factly as he was washing the spinach.
"Where are the avocados?" Mr. Williamson asked. "We're supposed to have guacamole with vegan chipotle."
"Says whhoooooooo??? Yiiiickkkkk!!!" Count Macula, Jr. said. "Yick! Yick! Yick! Yick! Yick! Yick! Yick! Yick!"
Vampire and the Gang were having a groovy time playing their instruments. I guess 'Vegan Chipotle Musical Cooking with Count Macrula and Count Macula, Jr.' really was a musical.
"Agreed. Fuck avocados. Worst fruit ever. Should be abolished," I said.
Princess Lindsay Carrington rose from the couch to get more fruit punch. The Hawaiian Fruit Punch Guy and she had a brief conversation.
"Disagreed. The only thing worse than an avocado is a lima bean," Count Macrula said. He shuddered. "The horror!"
A random bear jumped in the kitchen and said, "I brought lima beans for the Vegan Chipotle with Count Macrula-"
Count Macrula screamed and used red eye rays to disintegrate that poor bear and the lima beans.
I continued to chop up peppers and onions.
"So are you not even allowed to bring lima beans in the kitchen?" Reba the Mail Lady asked.
Count Macrula shot his death rays at Reba the Mail Lady and disintegrated her.
Princess Lindsay Carrington started rinsing the rice for the rice cooker. "That answers our question. Can we even mention Lima-"
Count Macrula was shooting the death rays in her direction.
"Lima, Peru! It's one of my favorite cities to visit. I say!" Princess Lindsay Carrington said as she was dramatically trying to catch her breath. Her eyes were wide as she stared at the burn mark on her left sleeve.
Nugget, her mother's chihuahua mix, barked in her general direction. He did not mention lima beans at any point.
Count Macrula then smiled widely and said, "Why yes! That is one of my favorite cities! You can mention that all you like!" he said as he was washing the lettuce.
"Did you know avocados are good?!" Peter shouted as he poked his head in the kitchen.
I threw the knife I was using to chop up peppers and onions at Peter's head.
Peter left and started laughing.
"Wow, baebae!" Joebear said as he put the macaroni in the boiling water. He set the timer for 10 minutes.
"No avocados for me! I didn't buy any!" I said as I growled and continued to chop peppers and onions with a different knife.
Jaybird was chopping up the tomatillos.
Miss Oreo meowed. Patches meowed with her.
Vampire and the Gang were playing a jive turkey beat similar to "Fresh" by Kool and the Gang. They were the live band. Miss Oreo and Patches and singing meows to the beat: https://youtu.be/sTJ1XwGDcA4?si=8gIQdnxo72bZVK3k
I thought Paul the Goat was the DJ, but I guess not. He normally was the DJ for these insane parties. I guess he was okay with Vampire and the Gang being the live band for that night's party.
Pauno then walked in the kitchen. "For people who like guacamole or tacos while they wait, I shall make them rain from the sky!" he announced. He had long curly hair and a beard.
"Thank you," Mr. Williamson said.
Pauno then walked to the living room and threw his strong hands in the dusty air. Bright white and purple strands of lightning came out of them like Thor's Hammer as he brought down guacamole, Mexican salsa, nacho chips, and many napkins.
We Relocated to a Mariachi Party in Costa Rica
Everyone in the living room cheered. Vampire and the Gang played a song of approval: https://youtu.be/3GwjfUFyY6M?si=-g5F55LB6jpGzvCQ before they played a Spanish salsa song on his organ: https://youtu.be/buRDe2TcmdQ?si=56j62rf2MlIgfwe9.
Their music transported us to a mariachi party in Costa Rica.
Everyone who was not cooking in the kitchen was dancing and eating nachos dipped with seven-layer dip brought to us by beautiful Latina women in yellow dresses with red and orange fringe in the castle ballroom and the large patio outside.
That, of course, was when Count Macrula's cell phone began to ring. He sighed loudly as he took off his gloves, washed and dried his hands, and answered his phone. "WHAT IS IT?!" he shouted as though he were the head chef of a 5-star restaurant. He then put a fresh pair of gloves on his hands before continuing to chop the tomatoes at lightning speed.
"THE I.T OFFICE IS ON FIRE!" an equally loud woman shouted over the phone. "TEXAS IS ON FIRE!"
Count Macrula then started laughing his ass off as he threw his head back while continuing to chop the tomatoes as though he were a fruit-chopping machine. I could tell he was sick of working.
"I CAN'T QUENCH THESE FUCKING FLAMES. I ALREADY PEED DURING MY LUNCH BREAK! I THOUGHT YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE AT WORK TODAY!" the loud woman shouted.
"Not that I'm aware of," Count Macrula said as he raised his eyebrow and began to chop the cilantro. "Morpheus, put this cilantro in the pico de gallo!"
Morpheus was summoned out of one of the pots of boiling pinto beans and was ready to prepare pico de gallo.
"Apparently, you will today. All of Gwinnett County is on fire! Hudson County in Texas is on fire! And we are short staffed!" the loud woman said with a sigh.
Count Macrula sighed. "Yes. Let me take my gloves off, wash my hands, and put a Dracula mask on. I'm coming all the way from Costa Rica, so it might take me a few minutes," he said.
"Halloween's over, you asshole!" the loud woman shouted.
Count Macrula hung up the phone and then screamed. The Vegan Chipotle Musical Cooking was done in a jiffy as a result. He moved time forward by an hour. Then he returned to normal. "Duty calls," he said as he then flew out of the castle and had the face of Count Dracula.
Dietary Restrictions
"What if I told you that you forgot to consider those of us with high blood pressure?" Morpheus asked as he was preparing the pico de gallo.
Literally everyone stared at him. Count Macrula's face appeared on the wall and just stared at him. He was trying to shoot death eye lasers at Morpheus, but his physical body was trying to fly back to the office in Duluth, GA before heading toward Amarillo, TX.
"How many dietary restrictions are we going to have in this fucking story?" Count Macula, Jr. asked seven more times. He had a major malfunction.
"Eight," Peter answered. "No meat. No other animal products. Low sodium. Low gluten. Low sugar. Real ingredients. No added hormones. And... limited avocado?"
"NO LIMA BEANS!" Count Macrula shouted as his pupils were balls of red and orange flame. He was the mirror on the kitchen wall.
"Wouldn't that make it nine dietary restrictions?" Pauno asked as he brought low sodium chips, low sodium salsa, low sodium guacamole, and taco shells with no added salt down to the tables on the patio outside of the castle/restaurant.
"Yes!" Count Macrula shouted. The vibrations of his voice knocked down a bowl of guacamole.
Ants crawled toward the pile of guacamole with nacho crumbs and yelled, "Aye Caramba!" They were feasting like crazy as they dipped their chips in the guacamole. They were dancing to salsa music after a few bites.
"Goddammit!" Pauno said as he used more energy to create a table that only had bowls of chips and bowls of guacamole on it. This table happened to land on the white corn sands of the beach.
"Excuse me. Pauno? Can you bring down boiled peanuts and kidney beans flavored with taco seasoning?" Princess Lindsay Carrington asked.
Pauno danced to salsa music before raising his hands and shooting red, orange, brown, and yellow lightning to the heavens. He brought down buckets of taco-seasoned boiled peanuts and taco-seasoned kidney beans.
"Thank you," Princess Lindsay Carrington said before she was snacking on those taco-seasoned peanuts.
"You're welcome," Pauno said as he continued to dance to rejuvenate himself.
Let's Make Some Noise
Paul the Goat bleated and screamed into his cell phone that was clearly giving off massive amounts of radiation. "I'm at a party in COSTA RICA, JENNA!!!... I don't know how I got here! I'm just here.... (sigh)... You have a trust fund.... You can go to parties... Why is it my fault the Bank of the Ozarks Credit Card isn't paid off?!.... And?! It's under your name!" he shouted as his blue eyes were bugged out of his head. He bleated for five minutes straight as he stood on the white corn sands of the beach.
Peter couldn't help but laugh. "That's why I ain't EVER getting married," he commented. He chuckled before he took a bite of his vegan taco mac.
"My marriage is fucked up sometimes, too," Joebear said. He was mixing all of the ingredients of vegan taco mac together for anyone who wanted second or third helpings.
"Yes, you act ridiculous, too, Boo," I said as I was cooking more macaroni. This box of macaroni was gluten-free.
"Pssh! Yeah, okay! You're the one who almost added black beans to the taco mac last time and thought about forcing me to eat that shit!" Joebear said with a growl.
"Baby, I add all the ingredients together-" I started to say.
Joebear interrupted me with a growl. "No!"
"I say! May I please have an extra side of black beans?" Prince Oliver, Werewolf of London asked. He was a great prince whom I served on Sunday afternoons.
"Yes, you may!" Prince Carrington said as he served him a side dish of black beans.
"Thank you, kind man," he said as he started to eat.
"You are welcome, kind sir," Prince Carrington said. "I'm glad you made it here."
Paul the Goat bleated as he hung up his phone before running to the table near the kitchen and adding refried beans to his vegan chipotle musical meal. The spirit of Colonel America remembered to make refried beans for people who like them.
At This Point, The Party Was Too Noisy.
Jaybird was trying to eat his gluten-free vegan taco mac in peace, but there was far too much bullshit going on for him to think. He chewed more quickly to distract himself from the madness going on.
Count Macula, Jr.'s face ended up on eight walls of the castle because it was the only way to handle what was happening in his castle. One of his faces ended up right next to the picture of the long lost cousin's sister's brother's former college roommate, whom he mentioned was absolutely nobody to him. Count Macula, Jr. spoke in stereo. "WHY ARE THERE REFRIED BEANS IN MY CASTLE?"
"Because they are a Mexican food," Pauno said. "They're there."
"I will allow it this time, but never again," Count Macula, Jr. said in stereo 63 more times.
"Can someone please fix the stereo system? I'm really tired of this guy repeating himself. I really don't find it necessary to hear the same thing over and over!" Jaybird said out of annoyance as he ate another bite of taco mac. He was vibrating from the sounds of Count Macula, Jr. repeating himself. To say that he was frazzled was an understatement.
Shit Caught on Fire
The computer Joebear just sat down at caught on fire and exploded because it also could not handle the repetition. "My frame feels fried. Time to go to bed," he said as he stared at the flames emerging from the desk.
I laughed before I took off my gloves, washed my hands, and then went to hit the stereo system with a spatula.
Joebear rose from the computer chair with his bowl of vegan Chipotle taco mac before the chair also caught on fire.
The computer desk itself caught on fire.
Joebear left the common area of the castle and was ascending the stairs to go to bed while he was eating. "That's horrible. I hope a firefighter comes over and fixes this shit," he said.
"Fuck you. I don't exist this week," Count Macrula said as his face left the wall.
Pauno laughed. "Does anyone actually give a shit about refried beans right now?" he asked.
We all screamed in unsynchronized unison, "Yes! Why didn't Chipotle Mexican Grill have them on their menu?!"
Princess Lindsay Carrington then added this food for thought, "Or more importantly! Why didn't they advertise the All-Carb All-Vegan Gluten-Free Taco at Chipotle Mexican Grill? It would have a Corn and Potato Flour Tortilla, Wild Rice, Brown Rice, White Rice with Cilantro, Sweet Potato, Cauliflower Rice, Quinoa, and Whole Sweet Golden Kernel Corn. PEOPLE LOVE CARBS!"

Background Info: First and foremost, Yes! I would love to be an actress. I don’t know where it started exactly, but I always loved movies and TV. When I was younger my family had: cable television, DVD, and VHS. I remember when I was 4, and me and my sister watched movies and TV shows together. My favorite memories are us watching: Jem and the Holagrams, Sky Dancers, Barbie movies, Ella Enchanted, and My Little Pony together. On the family iPad, we used to watch monster high episodes, the 3d movies, winx club episodes, and attempt to make our own stop motion movies. I mostly went to the TV to watch my shows. In the years before my teens, I saw: Make It Pop, Evermore, I Am Frankie, and Every Witch Way. I fell in love with these shows, and their amazing concepts. I started to look forward to one day creating my own characters, and tv shows.
Aspirations: I want to work in both film and tv. I am interested in many genre of work. Personally I would love to do horror In the industry, I would love to act and write for the projects I am working on. I’m also interested in producing several differ shows even if I am not staring in them. I would love to be known for my quality work, whether acting or writing.
Strides I Want to Take: First, I want to better my acting and understand the practice. I want to emote well and understand the character. I want to also better my writing ability and be descriptive and expressive.
