forgot to mention this,

but i swear i’m a changed person after mingyu’s calvin klein magazine

also i am back !! WE CHEERED YAYY 😍😍 feels like i went back on my words so much i feel guilty )): school has been such a headache omg but i finally have 3 peaceful weeks ( school is still going on ) i have 3 test-free weeks for which i’m forever grateful 🙏 after holding a few many polls i have finally started to convert few of my precious drafts since a longggg time into wips and will soon be published <33

and while i was away i hit 1k!! THANK YOU SOOO MUCH for this <33 i truly can’t believe this little blog of mine has come to a 1000. It has been around almost a year since I opened this blog thinking i can start making writing prompts and now here i am writing for 3 different kpop groups 🤭🤭 and i love every one of you so much!!

a good ol’ headcanon on Mia because she deserved better.

i really wish we learned more about her. just with her struggles with coping with her trauma and how that truly affected her well-being and Ethan’s. she’s such an interesting character because she is morally grey (similar to Ada). i just wished Capcom used her more.

i thought the whole notion on Mia not being a major part of Rose’s life, with no true explanation in the DLC (as far as i’m aware), was kinda bull so i wrote something on what i think could’ve been a really interesting direction for her character.

would this be canon? no, but it’s still interesting to think about.

also, if i draw this headcanon version of Mia again, you’ll know from the sectoral heterochromia in her left eye. i decided to do that since she has brown eyes in RE7 and then blue eyes in RE8. :)

feel free to ask me questions on my interpretation of her!

although just a warning that it’ll probably be off the top of my head rather than super well thought out.

also, disclaimer, i’m not trying to insinuate that this is definitely how postpartum depression, PTSD, etc. work. i’m more so using them as terms to explain what Mia is most likely going through here.

I don't know if I've said this before but I have ADHD. And im saying this bc while I can hold down a job, when it comes to personal creative work I can be quite nonchalant when it comes to long-term projects and I usually never finish them. Which is extremely frustrating that my attention can never be well enough to keep momentum with doing projects that I really love.

The Daily life of Damian is a very special project to me bc its my take on a character I've loved for a long time, but I get frustrated with myself when I struggle to get a page done or to write things out. I'm only a few pages in and it feels like my brain has quit before it got started.

But I don't want to give into my old habits. I want to see this through, even if I gotta crawl my way to the finish line, I'm gonna do this! I want this to be something I look back on and be proud of! That I say "hell yea...I did that". No matter how long it takes, this is gonna happen.

If this is the only big comic project I ever do, I wanna do the best I can with it.

New pages coming out in a month. It'll be a longer update than last time.
