Event Info & Rules
~ Please read our extensive event info posts before sending us an ask ~
WHUMPTOBER is a month-long, prompt-based creation challenge (think: Inktober, but whumpier). There are 31 official themes this year - one for each day of the month - which can be used, skipped, or combined in any way you’d like. The 'theme' of each day is the line of lyrics.
The prompts are merely to serve as inspiration without being taken literally (e.g. you don’t have to include the exact wording of prompts into your work). Feel free to run rampant on interpretation. For example, if the prompt is "flame", you could create something with reference to a candle/campfire, your character could have suffered a burn, or the flame could be related to the 'spark' of a relationship. It's truly up to you!
In total, there are 4 prompts for each day: there's lyrics, an object, a trope and a line of dialogue to choose from.  We want to give everyone as much creative freedom as possible, as well as increase event accessibility for folks with triggers and squicks.
Creators can PRODUCE work in any media they choose, including but not limited to: writing, visual artwork, photo/video/audio edits, paper crafts and elaborate recommendation lists (not just a list of links). Creators can PARTICIPATE as much or as little as they want (i.e. you don’t have to do ALL the prompts if you don’t want to) and prompts can be used in any order. They are also free to use even after the event ends.
When uploading Whumptober content to your blog, be sure to tag the with:
#whumptober2023 …..(the event tag)
#no.1, #no.2, #no.3, …..(day number)
#lyric, #bruises, #stabbing,  …..(the theme or specific prompt you chose)
#fandom or #OC, … (ironman, originalcontent, oc …)
#medium …..(gifs, fic, podcast, art, etc.)
#teeth, #gore tw, #etc …..(trigger warnings & any additional tags. Add "tw" AFTER the trigger/content warning. )
#nsfwhump …..(only for nsfw content)
#your own tags go here
PLEASE BE DILIGENT WITH YOUR TAGGING. Only properly tagged posts are considered for archiving on the official @whumptober-archive blog. They must be tagged in the order above. An elaborate post about our tagging system can be found [here]
Unfortunately, due to the sheer number of participants in recent years, we cannot guarantee your work will be archived. A random selection of properly tagged posts from all genres will be reblogged each day.
Whumpers who produce content for 31 total theme days are considered event completionists and will be tagged in a masterpost at the end of the month. A form will be published at the beginning of November asking you to tell us if you completed the event. You do not need to post anything you have created, we rely on trust and we will not check this.
Questions not addressed in one of our many event info posts can be directed to this blog. We will not answer any questions that have been answered in the FAQs or rules already.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q. How does this year’s prompt list work? What do I have to choose?
You can create something based on:
The overall theme/lyric of the day
Prompt 1, 2 or 3
One or several of the alternative prompts
A combination of the above
Q. Is [specific anything] allowed?
When in doubt: JUST DO IT!
Q. Do I have to do all 31 days?
Participate as much or little as you like! Just be sure to tag your posts properly (ex. #no.7, #radio silence). If you create works for 31 total theme days you will become a completionist. But apart from that, there are no repercussions if you don’t fill prompts for each day.
Q. Can I post early/late?
Yes, you can post whenever you want. We will only reblog posts during October, but you can use our prompts all year round. The day you post will only affect your probability of being reblogged.
Q. Will you reblog my post?
Due to the sheer number of content posted during Whumptober we can’t promise to reblog every single post. We will make a random selection trying to capture a wide variety of content. The following will increase your chances at being reblogged:
tag your post properly
post within 2-3 days of the theme you want to fill: if you fill the prompt for Day 1 your chances of being reblogged during October 1st to 3rd are highest and will go towards zero afterwards.
Q. What if I don’t understand a prompt/theme?
Send us an ask! We’re happy to help with wild, unhelpful clarifications or brainstorming. That being said, the themes are entirely up for interpretation. Don’t take them too literally. For example: You can be choking on a cherry, someone else can choke you or you could be choked up on emotions, etc.
Q. What kind of content can I make? Can it be NSFW?
This is a MIXED MEDIA event! You can write fic, post meta, doodle or paint, create a gifset or photo edit, link a song, or get crafty with video - anything goes. As for NSFW, make what you like, we just hope that you’ll tag your work accordingly so that others participating in the event can stay safe.
Q. Can I combine Whumptober with other creation challenges?
Absolutely, as long as the other challenges allow it too.
Q. Can I upload/repost my Whumptober content to other social media platforms?
Of course! You can post your own content wherever you like (or you can opt to not publish it at all). Additionally we’ve created an AO3 Collection to archive any fics posted there. It can be accessed here. The tumblr blog @whumptober-archive is the official archive, so please respect the boundaries of any closeted whumpers in your social circle.
Q. Can I use prompts to write a new chapter for an existing fic?
Yes.
Q. An existing fic I am currently writing contains many of the Whumptober prompts, can I use it?
If you are actively writing this fic at the moment with the Whumptober prompts in mind, yes. If you’ve previously posted something that checks the boxes, we ask that you not include it retroactively for this current year. You can, however, add new chapters relating to one or more of the prompts.
Q. What kind of characters can I write for?
Fandom characters, OC characters, human, furry, alien, cyborg, RPF, whoever you like. You can use the generic “whumpee” character or have specific ones.
Q. Does it have to take place in a specific fandom?
No, you can create works for your own worlds or for fandoms or for both. You can also create more generic or pan-fandom works. You can do cross-overs or use OCs, whatever you want.
Q. Can I use a prompt multiple times?
Yes, but it only counts once towards being a completionist.
Q. If I’m not comfortable with one day’s prompts can I use a prompt of a different day as a substitute and still be a completionist?
No, you can’t exchange prompts for different days. However, if all four prompts of a specific day make you uncomfortable, we have created an alternate prompts list that you can draw from. You can exchange any prompt with these, but please make sure not to use them twice.
Q. Where can I post my work?
Post where and how you want. You don’t have to (cross)post it to Tumblr or at all. Just keep in mind if it’s not on Tumblr we will not be able to add it to the blog archive.
Q. Can I start posting early?
You can, but this is an October event and wouldn’t it be more fun with everyone doing it at the same time? That being said, you can post early, but we won’t be reblogging any work predating October 1st.
Q. Do I have to finish a fic I started/can I post WIP’s?
Yes you can post WIPs. And you’re not obligated to finish it in October for it to count towards being a completionist.
Q. Is co-writing allowed?
Yes, absolutely, and it would count towards being a completionist for both/all of you.
Q. Do I have to create 31 standalone pieces to be considered a completionist or can I write one continuous story?
One continuous story is fine.  The challenge is to write something for 31 prompts. If that’s spread over 31 fics or just one, you are still considered a completionist. (The same goes for every other media you choose.)
Q. Is there a min/max limit on word count?
There is no limit.
Q. Can I combine prompts? Is there a limit on how many?
No limit and combine as many as you’d like.
Q. Is a hc/angst/emotional whump focus ok?
Of course! We are not going to establish a threshold for whumpiness. If you think it’s whumpy enough, then it’s whumpy enough. It can be physical, psychological, emotional, or any combination of the three.
Q. What’s considered nsfw?
See this post
Q. What is whump?
Typically the genre includes situations where a fictional character is hurt, be it emotionally, psychologically, or physically. Fanlore provides information here.
Q. My interpretation of the prompt isn’t whumpy at all, does that count?
If you don’t think your interpretation is whumpy, then it doesn’t count for Whumptober. Remember that whump comes in many forms, though, and that we don’t have a whump-checker or a threshold for how much whump needs to be included. If you think your interpretation contains enough whump to count, then it does.
Q. Can I start working on the prompts before October?
Absolutely! That’s why we post the prompts a month in advance. We recognise how difficult it can be creating for 31 days in “real time” so feel free to start creating early!
Q. How do I tag triggers?
tw at the end of the word, ex. #gore tw
Q. Do I have to use your tags?
Yes, if you want your work archived on the blog. If not, feel free to use whatever tags you want.
Q. Does combining prompts count towards completion?
Yes
Q. Can we @ you?
Yes but we mostly rely on the #whumptober2023 tag.
Q. Is there anything we are absolutely not allowed to write?
There are no rules, but please make sure to properly tag your trigger warnings. And keep in mind Tumblr’s policies if you are posting it here (or the policies for whatever site you use).
Q. Where can I go for brainstorming help?
Here on Discord or come into our ask box.
Q. My characters are minors, is that ok?
Yes, but as with everything else, use clear and descriptive tags.
Q. Can I cross post on other blogs?
Yes, multiple platforms and blogs are perfectly acceptable. You can also post different works to different accounts under different names, without posting them everywhere at once.
Note: This is a creation challenge, please don’t repost your old work under our tags (unless it’s been changed or edited for the event).
Thanks for reading, and happy whumping!

Time To Build The 2023 Fandom Small Business Shopping Directory!
Every year I put up a poll asking small business owners, artists, and crafters to share what they make and where they sell it, so that our fannish (and fandom-adjacent) community can shop “local” for the holiday season, supporting their fellow creators.
If you make things to sell or run a small business where people can shop, fill out the form linked above to tell us all about it!
Above and beyond the usual sorts of things you'd give as gifts, feel free to include services you think people would wish to give as gifts (eg tarot readings), and authors should feel free to link to their book sales pages. There are also ways to indicate that you take commissions, so don't let the fact that you are commission-only stop you!
Shoppers who want to see the directory can go here to find out who’s selling what, and where.
Both shoppers and creators, please feel free to reblog this to your readerships or tag folks who might benefit.
Sometimes google polls and sheets can be very special, so if there are any access issues let me know. Also if you filled out the form but something needs correcting, feel free to get in touch via my asks or [email protected] and I can go in and fix it for you.
I'll be reblogging this a couple of times in the next few weeks so both sellers and shoppers have the best chance of seeing it. The results sheet is stable so you can also bookmark that if you know you want to shop but want to wait and see what people are adding.
Happy selling, happy shopping!

I deeply do not understand fandom creators who try to get people to stop reposting their creations on platforms where the OP doesn’t have an account. Asking people to credit them - absolutely! It’s reasonable to want credit for your work. But to insist that the work only be appreciated by people who have accounts on the exact platform the OP has? And to ask followers to harass any re-posters en-masse until the re-poster and all rebloggers delete the content? I’m baffled by this.
How is fans sharing your work and linking fellow fans back to your account a *bad* thing?!
--
Are you new?
Most creators don't want their work reposted. They may appreciate shares from Youtube and the like. They certainly do not appreciate someone making a separate video upload or whatever.
Fandom creators are even warier, particularly about their work escaping its intended context and finding hostile outsiders. Of fucking course they do not want their work on some other platform. That's the way to get waves of harassment sent back towards that fandom creator. It also often involves lots of asspats for the reposter and nothing for the creator.
I have no sympathy for reposters crying that they got harassed over art theft. Stop stealing if you can't take the heat, asshole!
Maximum audience is what shitty influencers want. It is not the ethos of fandom. Some people seek fandom fame more than others, but there has always been a strong sense of finding your corner, not of trying to get your shit out to the entire world.
WHY THE FUCK would I care about people needing the "convenience" of my fic on their own platform of choice? I use AO3 because I support AO3. I loathe Wattpad and will certainly not want to increase its popularity with my free labor and my content.
Yes, it does annoy me when people screenshot this blog and put it on twitter. I am intentionally not on twitter because twitter is garbage. I have no desire for my own writing to increase twitter's relevance. Fandom should stop treating twitter like The Place To Be. If people feel like they're missing out by being there and not here, good!
And obviously, I roll my eyes when some attention-seeker posts my shit to reddit and gets eighty billion upvotes. If you love me so much, go give my reddit account that karma. (If you're doing your own hobbydrama writeup or something, that's different though. I'm talking about c&p posts with little of your own content.)
There are different ways of sharing, and some of them are more annoying than others. Some platforms are irrelevant to a creator, while others they actively oppose being popular. Nobody is going to know or care if you post some fan art to a private discord with your friends.
Have some god damn sense, anon.

People need to realize how the internet changes the context of things, because everyone acts like an authority or like they're an example of common public opinion when they're online. I recently met someone who had a lot of reddit environmentalist takes irl. And while those are things that would seem like serious climate takes online, when they say them irl in an actual conversation my internal reaction tends to be "do you need help, I don't think thinking about this is good for your mental health". And now I'm thinking of analyzing things I read online (or even say online) as if they were meatspace statements. '
Someone calling a kid's interests cringe. Imagine them doing that irl. Imagine how disgustingly unseemly an adult making fun of a teenager's interests to their face would be. Or if they're calling you out for not being good enough at something that's a hobby, imagine them saying that to you while you're showing off your hobby, imagine how terrible they look.
Someone has a hot take about how it's wrong to be attracted to adult women with short heights or flat chests, imagine someone telling that to a guy with a petite girlfriend. Someone tells you that enjoying a story with incest means you support incest, imagine someone telling that to someone reading an ASOIAF book on the train. Someone says you can't enjoy something with a problematic creator, imagine them saying that to someone reading Lovecraft on the train.
Someone has a hot take in activist space that seems really violent or somewhat facisty. Imagine them saying that irl, even with fellow activists. Imagine someone trying to defend Stalin in an actual human conversation, or trying to defend population control for environmentalist reasons.
I know I'm privileged to live in a large city and be pretty socially active, and even I can easily fall into overly online ways of thinking. But remember, even if you can't touch grass, you can imagine how things would be on the grass.

Longggg Sherlock & Co plot rant. You have been warned.
I know the creator of Sherlock & Co. found the idea of writing Moriarty into the series intimidating. Plus, not knowing how to do Sherlock's "death" over a podcast and such. But I had an idea.
I love the idea of Professor Moriarty being some sort of hacker/online troll and MORIARTY is the name of a dark web corporation that is trying to hack into the Sherlock & Co. Company to send Sherlock puzzles/cases. You lot know those shady anon hackers on the dark web in films and certain websites? Like that.
I think it would be cool if at first Moriarty leaves hate/weird comments on John's podcasting sites and Watson just thinks it is some hater and thinks nothing of it and deletes the comments. He just grumbles about the comments being a continous thing.
Suddenly the comments stop. Watson isn't complaining about it, he is relieved by that because they were really annoying him. (no matter how many times Sherlock & Mariana told him to ignore them.)
Later on, Watson gets these emails from an unknown email of some shady guy (Moriarty) taunting Sherlock (and the rest of the company) and sending them on goose chase cases (Like the BBC did in that one episode with the phone calls, in a way?)
When Moriarty becomes the main centre of the podcast episodes, instead of Sherlock dying, he gets kidnapped by Moriarty's network. Watson and Mariana embark on and have to solve their most important case yet "Where is Sherlock Holmes?" This would give us some cool dynamics and more screentime between Watson and Mariana.
Watson starts to panick because he thinks he isn't like Sherlock and Sherlock did tell him that he would never be able to figure out stuff the way he could. Mariana is there to support and be there for him. Watson and Mariana have to channel their inner Sherlock Holmes to solve the case.
Idk whether I like the idea of Sherlock expecting this to happen and leave behind clues in some way. I do know though, that I like the idea of the following cases being them trying to work on finding Sherlock.
When they do, Sherlock is banged up and Sherlock tells him "I trusted that you would find me, Watson. You really are a persistent fellow."
And Watson just runs up and hugs him and Mariana joins in and they are just mother henning him like crazy.
Watson tells Sherlock "Don't do that to me again. Don't disappear on me again, you hear?"
And Sherlock is like "It's not like I was expecting to kidnapped, John. Besides, your podcast wouldn't last without me."
Watson just huffs and tells him "No, no, it wouldn't. Just come here," and then goes to hug him again.
Mariana pulls away from them both in realisation and she tells them "Boys, I don't mean to break up our moment, but we still do have one problem."
They both look at her and Sherlock nods and says "Moriarty. He's still out there."
I want it to be implied that they came face to face while Sherlock was kidnapped.
"He? Sherlock, you saw him?" Watson replies.
"Indeed, Watson and I think I know where he'll be waiting next."
*cue Sherlock & Co. End of episode music.*
Anyways, then we get to the episode of the Reichenbach fall, they have their final facedown. Sherlock doesn't die, but Moriarty does fall.
Watson would 100% be grumbling about how he can't pick up any audio over the sound of the falls.
Sherlock and Moriarty would begin fighting and Watson would start describing the scene in a panicked tone.
Sherlock calls over "Not helping, Watson!"
After more sounds of fighting and nervous ramblings from Watson. Sherlock & Moriarty turn the corner of the falls into a blind spot.
All Watson hears and sees is a cry and someone fall and crash into the water.
Watson panicks and shouts "SHERLOCK!" then dashes up to where they were fighting. Sherlock is sitting down and catching his breath.
Sherlock would probably make a smartarse comment like "Ah, John. Glad you make it. Help me up will you?"
"You're not dead."
"Clearly, or else we wouldn't be speaking. Now, would you please help me up?"
"Right, yeah." Watson helps him up.
"So, you, erm, you killed him?"
"I did. His baritsu was lacking, so his demise was inevitable."
"You're a clever, bugger, mate. Now, lift home?"
"Yes, of course."
I think it would be funny if the episode ended like this. They get home and Mariana starts mother-henning them both and she is scolding them both in Spanish about being more careful, how much she cares for them both, etc. Then she hugs them both.
Later on, we cut to them sitting in their chairs and talking about, well, everything.
"It's good to have you home, you know? I- well, Mariana and I both missed you."
"Mm. It's good to be home, Watson. I prefer the smell of our flat to the vile odour of where I was."
"Do you want to talk about it? Because, I, erm, am always here if you need a good talk."
"Not at the moment, Watson, but I will keep that in mind."
Long pause.
"So, Moriarty's network.. is it?-"
"Gone? Mm. No, but it will be taken care of."
"How? They are bloody HUGE, Sherlock. Shouldn't we, I don't know, contact Lestrade? Actually, the whole bloody Scotland Yard?"
"They're useless here, Watson. I'll leave this to the government."
"The government? Sherlock, we both know what they are. The government is not reliable in the slightest."
"Mm. The government you are discussing, yes. They are indeed unreliable, but in this instance I am discussing a WHO not a what."
"Friends in high places?"
"No. Much much worse."
"Oh, erm, an enemy then?"
"Mycroft is not an enemy, but certainly not a friend."
"What the devil is a 'Mycroft'?"
"My brother."
There's a long silence in the audio
"YOUR WHAT!?"
*Cue end of episode music*
I think this concept would be a cool way to be introduced to Mycroft, Watson realising his capibilities since meeting Sherlock, more screentime with Mariana and John's friendship, a way to do the podcast without killing Sherlock and having the time gap between Sherlock's "death" and resurrection, etc.
If you made it to the end of my Sherlock & Co plot concept ramble, good for you. Lol. Anyway, I just thought this would be a cool concept. The rant kinda blended into a fic, but oh well.
Do you lot like this idea? I thought it would be neat.
If John (or even the creator of Sherlock & Co) sees this ever, I will spontaneously combust. 😳
Enjoy my story/plot rant-
(Sorry for any typos, I am sick and half-asleep)
(I am so normal about them, I swear-)

About the people feeding fanfictions to AI: It's so fucking sad and maddening that people will do anything BUT leaving a comment. I'm so done with writing fanfiction.
Hey Anon!
I know it can be super frustrating when we don't receive the feedback that we want. I think every creator is guilty of feeling that way, because we WANT to have others share in our joy of the things we make, and when they don't, it just feels kinda....silly? I guess?
We live in the "tiktok" era, as I would dub it, where everything is so fast-paced and fandoms live one second and die another, content needs to be NOW or never, but honestly, we as fanfic writers are not 'CONTENT CREATORS'. We are fan artists, in some fashion. Whether you write, draw, sing, etc, for the joy of contributing to the fandom, and I think "fandom" has lost its way entirely these days.
Fandom is a community - and we need to support one another for the things we make, to enjoy the things we love. If we stop commenting, sharing, etc, then the fandom ultimately dies. Yes, it's discouraging to not receive feedback on something you've worked hard on, and I think we all need to work on getting back to the true values of fandom.
And with this AI stupidity? What's so fascinating about feeding words to a computer? You're losing out on the heart and soul of a story or creation. Computers don't have feelings, but we fanworks creators do, and there is a distinct difference between AI generated works and those done by real people.
My advice: keep writing. While we may not get the feedback we desire, your story will become someone's favorite. You will become the author someone gravitates towards and can't wait to see what you post next. I know it gets discouraging, I feel that way more than I like to admit, but then I get (1) comment, or one nice tag about how amazing xyz was, and I think in the end, so long as we can SEE that our joy is spreading, isn't that what it's all about? (Let's completely ignore the "write for yourself first" rule because sometimes that just gets too repetitive).
Keep creating, my friend, it's never worthless, or pointless, and people DO care, I promise. Some people just have a more quiet way of showing it.
That being said: please support your fellow creators. Share their works if you like it, drop even a little emoji comment on it to show your support. Every little bit counts, and engagement with creators is at, what I feel, an all-time low. This needs to be fixed, or creations done by real people are going to go away.

I read your post on boundaries and the MCYT community recently and have been thinking about as posts that contradict it cross my dash, and I’ve been reflecting on how a lot of what we call “boundaries” are more just like. Community rules? Like take “no sexualization,” for instance. If I’m talking to someone at my workplace, I am not comfortable with them making sexual remarks about me. If someone did, I would tell them so, and not engage in that conversation with them. That’s an actual boundary — something governing how people interact with ME that I am in charge of enforcing. I don’t say “no one is allowed to think anything sexual about me at work ever or tell their friends I’m hot” bc that’s just insane and none of my business, quite frankly. Streamers are well within their rights to say they aren’t comfortable seeing people sexualizing them in their chat or like very publicly on Twitter, but saying no one can sexualize them ever is actually just a community rule, not a personal boundary. Based on how I understand what a boundary is, it can’t be boundary breaking to do something that a creator definitely will not see, because the creator isn’t interacting with the content, and boundaries are about governing comfort in interactions. And saying “I don’t want there to be sexualization or sexual content about me in the main tags bc my main audience is children who browse those tags and they shouldn’t be exposed to that” is a reasonable enough rule to ask your community to follow, but it’s just straight up not a boundary? Like am I misunderstanding what a boundary is? I’m confused bc I’m seeing all this stuff about boundary breaking content and how it’s disgusting even if the creator will never see it and I just don’t get it?
Yeah, I think this is a situation where we're using words to mean something they don't technically mean (see also, "lore"), and then this leads to us also having community arguments about what is acceptable, and it's all totally unnecessary.
Cause the workplace comparison is a good one! If I was telling fellow coworkers how hot they were when they'd said they didn't want to hear that, or walking up to the barista and saying that I wanted them to weigh in on the porn I'd written about them, that would be workplace sexual harrasment and, depending on the severity of the situation, literally a crime I could be charged with. Absolutely inappropriate to do, and I can't express how extremely fair it is that streamers get to say no to that. I am FULLY in support of CCs setting those limits for their spaces and think it's healthy and we all need to respect that.
But "boundaries", as a term, is technically about controlling your own behaviour and people's access to you. You set a boundary and say to your parents "if you bring up grandkids at the christmas meal I will be leaving", or "if you mention [latest discourse] on my blog I will block you". It's about controlling your experiences via your own behaviour and the stuff that you actually see. CC equivalent is saying that any sexualization or shipping in their chats or replies will lead to a block or a ban. That's them controlling their own experience and that's A-ok. Asking a CC to weigh in on what sort of fan work they're comfortable being shown, that's also about them controlling their own experience and is totally fair.
Asking a CC to weigh in on what sort of fan work exists in general— that's not boundaries any more, that's something else entirely. The closest equivilent is companies trying to control what sort of materiel their image or trademarked material show up in, I think? Which is a thing you can do when you're licensing your image, but isn't actually a thing you can do with fan works. Celebrities get to say no they're not going to appear in a commercial advertising an oil company, because they have a moral disagreement with oil companies, but that's because the interaction there is a company offering to pay them money for their image and them declining the money. That's not how fan works operate. The celebrity isn't in a position to decline the money for their "image" being used, because no money is being offered, because the fan isn't making money. It's not a copyright/licensing situation, it's fan works. The celebrity shouldn't be part of the conversation at all, because they should never see that.
And like, there's issues of impersonation or endorsement where it's bad form to do something that looks like it comes from the celebrity, as though they approve of what is being depicted, which is why AI voice lines and deepfakes are being increasingly spoken out against. But man, someone writing Captain Puffy's and PearlescentMoon's cubitos kissing each other on Ao3 and keeping it on Ao3 is not a situation where celebrity endorsement or licensing or impersonation comes in at all. That's a conversation totally within the fandom, without the creators involved. And I really disagree with asking the creator to treat all of fandom like their community, which they should moderate and like, control their image and make kids-and-advertiser-friendly, because that's not how fandom works and also that is unfair to ask of them.
Can one or both of the creators say they don't want to see that? Totally fair. That's a boundary. Can they say that it shouldn't exist in their main tag that kids check? I'm on the side of tagging things to keep them away from minors and people who don't want to see it anyways, rock on. That's a community rule. Can they say that it should never exist ever, anywhere on the internet? That's just not how this works. A) that's not how fan works have ever worked, fan works are for transforming and celebrating existing canon, not for creator approval, and we should stop shoving all of them in creators' faces or asking them to weigh in, B) "boundaries" is entirely the wrong word for what's going on there, like you said. Cause is the mere existence of a thing in a seperate space infriging on the creator's experience and reasonable for them to control? That's what a boundary is, this isn't. C) This isn't even community rules that it makes sense for them to moderate! When you are talking about an entirely different space, cut off from the CCs, doing their own thing to the characters, with age barriers and trigger warnings built in, "boundaries" isn't the right term, but also this doesn't make sense as a space that we're inviting creators into to moderate. This is a seperate space, and stories or art in it aren't hurting people, even if the cc's wouldn't want to see that or even want them in their main community tabs. So yeah when it comes to us enforcing our own community rules, keeping creator boundaries and community rules in mind, the mere existence of a thing does not seem to me like the end of the world. A lot of people have come out and said that all our work needs to be sqeaky clean and able to be shown in the creator's chat, as though the creator is moderating the space and their personal boundaries are involved. And (listing things yet again, this is a post of lists), first of all there's a real focus on sexualization in that case and never on things like family dynamic or kidfic or gore or whump that could also make creators uncomfortable if it was shoved in their faces. (But somehow when anyone brings up those "boundaries" everyone comes to the conclusion that something entirely off on the internet somewhere and never shown to the creators is not going to harm them. Curious.) And second of all, I just disagree that that's a good way to run a fandom community. This is a space for fans, not for the creators, bringing up the "weird stuff" publically to creators is incredibly cruel to people who shouldn't have to see that, AND it's a bad atmosphere for creativity to always want the creators to approve things, fandom is for saying "fuck the man" and doing your own thing. Just tag it to keep it away from people who don't want to see it, and filter the tags for your own experience. Keep everything in its own space and you're good. There's tons of stuff in the fandom that isn't to my taste, ranging from characters that just don't do it for me to tropes that are active turn offs to people writing and undertagging things in ways that is concerning to me. We have got to learn to say "that's not for me" and "that's not for the cc" and put it away (block if you have to) and move on.

How do you think feral’s brozone (and co) would react to finding out about the support group?
Ooooooh this is an interesting one.
I also still need to do designs for Feral's brothers but not much changes just a few small things.
I'm going to take this in the direction of something me and a few other JD's group creators talked about before. It's basically a Brozone day where all the JD support group JD's and their brothers all meet up.
This also makes things easier because Feral can't tell his brothers about the group. For obvious reasons.
I guess it really depends on the timeframe. If were talking right after the third movie then they would all be pretty sad. They don't know where their JD is (except for Floyd but oof) and now here they are watching all these different JD's hanging out with their younger brothers. At least for the ones on good terms with each other.
They would definitely get approach by Eldest at one point or another. That man is wholesome and sweet to not check in on the group of brothers tucked in the corner with no JD insight or even near them.
Que sad convo where they explain they don't know where their JD is and that he's most likely dead. Eldest feels incredible bad and would defiantly make them hangout with his brothers for the rest of the event.
For Feral the event would be so over whelming he would tuck into a corner after running through the crowd trying to see if him brother might be here but would quickly start to panic and then run off. Hitman would probably find him hiding under a table cloth. Hitman would defiantly get some chips from grey and give Feral some snacks. Checking in on him periodically during the event.
Now if where talking a few moths after the third movie things would be a lot different. Feral would be so excited for him brothers to meet his fellow JD's. Upon entering the event he would pin point his favorite JD's very quick. Dragging all his brothers over to Eldest and Hitman. I can Feral grabbing the arms of which ever two brothers are closest to him and pulling them up into the air and shaking them around like a kid going "LOOK! LOOK! I FOUND THEM! WE FOUND EACH OTHER!"
I don't know if Eldest and Feral's brothers would recognize each other but i can see Eldest crying at the wholesome dynamic between them all. Feral's brothers all giving him head scratches like the animal his is. Feral trotting around with Floyd on his back as he gives then a tour of the house. Bruce and Feral starting a wrestling match in the living room. Snake would definingly be cheering on the sidelines or even join it dragging his brothers into the mix. So it just turns into one big play fight. Feral's Clay and Branch simple off to the side shaking their heads.
I can see Feral's Branch getting along with Grey easily and Grey giving Feral's Branch the info on the chip bag tactic. Branch may or may start keeping chips bags in his vest at all time incase a certain purple and green haired troll ever appears. Grey and Branch fist bump.
Also i see Feral grabbing Hitman abruptly when his mid conversation with some and picking him up only to place him down it front of his brothers and Hitman being the awkward man his is just stands stands well Feral starts wildly gesturing around. His brothers don't really know what his saying but clearly Feral really like this JD so after they get past the initial awkwardness they start talking. Also they all lose their minds over tiny Ronda. Clay most of all to where he starts going the shaking hands thing.
So yeah his brothers would be thrilled to know that even though their technically other versions of himself that Feral has a few nice and awesome people in his life.
It also explains where that chewed up prosthetic arm came from that they found in the bunker. Among a few other items.
So yeah they are very happy for Feral and it was nice for them to hear JD's voice again even if it's not their JD's.
Also they loose their minds over some of the stories Eldest and Grey tell them about Feral. Most notable is the chip bag and arm incidents.
They get mentioned so "Hey guys bet your weren't expecting this. L."
Eldest JD belongs to @matmiraculous
Hitman JD belongs to @lemony-and-zesty
Snake JD belongs to @gingisauce
Grey JD belongs to @ijjstlostthegame

Advanced Tumblr Things I Would Pay For as a Content Creator Fuck I Hate That Fucking Term But It's What We Use Now
A Google Cal etc. connection so I could manage an editorial calendar far easier. When things are in in queue they are COLOR A. When they have posted they are COLOR B. If I move them on Google Calendar, it updates in Tumblr's backed system... so I can manage it via Google Cal.
A Pinterest connection button where things would crosspost. This would be a button below "Post now" that would give me a drop down option of what board, if any, to post it to.
A Facebook/Instagram connection cross post button.
Tumblr media
I understand the feelings a lot of people have about Facebook and Instagram.
And.
I have a lot of folks who like my stuff that are on Facebook and Instagram.
Whenever I talk about Facebook on Tumblr I invariably get a comment or ask "pfft your'e still on Facebook?"
My fellow. I am building a business. If people like spooky things are on Facebook, I'm going to have a Facebook place for me to put spooky things here.
Allow me to specifically pin a post into a backend dashboard so I can see how a specific post is doing with likes, reblogs, what it is tagged with, etc.
A dashboard that brings up the tags people have added to my posts. A slider so I can say "show me every tag everywhere" vs. "show me the... 5 most popular tags."
A dashboard that would show me a heatmap of popular times and days of the week things of mine get posted. For me, personally, this is more a comfort in "it rarely matters because this is Tumblr" versus trying to pinpoint or optimize things. I am including this specifically because I LIKE DATA and this IS EXISTING METADATA so is an easy (...easy-ish... none of this is easy) win.
Tumblr media
A second queue. Works exactly like the first -- CONNECTED AS ABOVE WITH CALENDAR -- that let's me build a specific queue for "Hey! We have a new greeting card for sale!" The benefit of a second queue being I can pop things into here without worrying about timing and have it set to "run this once a week." Sometimes a "Hey we have a widget for sale" post needs to be scheduled. Sometimes I just need to have it run once a week.
The ability to reply to MESSAGES and INBOX and all other things via email. You know how in most support systems you get "Reply to this email to continue thread?" I am an email person. I am not a Tumblr Inbox person. I am not a Tumblr Chat person. I am an email person. Let me use this as a hub.
Speaking of email: An alert I can set up that sends me a weekly report of how many items are in queue.
An email alert I can set up when my queue hits [a figure I set].
Tumblr media
Facebook has surprisingly robust dashboards on how posts do. Their backend system is a fucking nightmare so don't do that, but the idea of being able to quickly understand "This post about mermaids did well" and "this post about vampires did better" is good.
As above, help me understand "Early July is a surprisingly good time for your posts about vampires. Cemeteries not so much -- that is great for August, though."
A Shopify plugin. Let me add "add to cart" on a post.
A MailChimp and other email plugin. Let me add "sign up for newsletter" on a post.
I don't want data on how other people are using this platform. I want data on how other people interact with my posts.
I will pay monthly for this. The immediate justification is easy: "this would help me sell a few more zines to people who already like my zines and have stated they wish to be informed when I have new zines."
I have my email settled in place but as a bonus option: You have domains, which make sense.
Start a "We are Tumblr, here is how to manage a domain" Tumblr where you regularly post articles about domain management.
Add an email system -- just fucking partner with Google or similar, don't build a goddamn email system.
Tumblr media
Tumblr's audience is full of weirdos making weird shit.
I can tell you from personal experience: "Hello fellow weirdo who wishes to Make Small Things for Sale. Let me help you figure out a small issue so you can take a step closer" is a viable business model.
Become the social media platform that lets folks say "I want to occasionally sell this thing I do as a hobby. And/or. I am literally just starting out. Help me do that."
Tumblr media
@staff text me I'm cute and I have ideas.
Some of them even make sense.

This is not something I'd hoped I'd have to write, but it seems that a few, some or indeed many of you aren't finding the way I post and present myself to be a wholly positive experience - whether it's by not having my age in my bio or the fact that I just post my own content.
I've touched on the age thing before however I've not really had to address why I post exclusively my own work on my blog, because I've mostly thought that people follow me for what I create (for better or worse).
I would firstly like to say that I'm always eternally grateful for everyone that likes and reblogs my work - as someone that creates things the feedback that I'm doing something right is what motivates me to continue. That said if any of you are reblogging my work (coming from an albeit well meaning intent) just to promote a fellow creator, please don't. I want people to post my work for themselves. I'm not here to be popular or to get as many likes as possible - I certainly don't make money from this - the few prints I've sold over the years hasn't come close to covering what I have put into this, and I'm certainly aware that what I create has a niche audience.
The most important message I try to portray in my blog, especially with the lingerie, is to try and normalise the overtly macho form of what can be considered masculine. That a certain body can be accentuated in ways that people don't usually see. As with the age thing, I want my blog to be very much about what I create, and not me as a person. I am probably not what most people expect me to be, and I really want the message to be accessible to everyone who needs it without being distracted by the person behind it. I follow a lot of beautiful creators out there with equally wonderful messages, however for the most part, they aren't quite the same message - it's not that I don't want to support their work I just feel that it would dilute the core message of my blog.
Having said all that if you feel that my blog is out of place with the standards you want for Tumblr, then maybe this isn't the platform for me.
I probably won't be posting for a while, whilst I consider everything.
Edit: I don't think the comments I've had have been trolling, and they were well meaning I think, so I don't want anyone to feel I'm attacking them if they read this. I just wanted to express myself in a way so that people could maybe understand my reasoning better

Do you love detective stories but hate cops?
Do you love gay detective stories and hate capitalism?
Like disabled main characters who's disability actually comes up?
Like characters of color but not in the mood for stories on racism?
Tempted by the thought of romance at ages of 30+?
Does the idea of stories so queer you'll hesitate before calling any character a "man" or a "woman" make you think "Ah, yes pronoun shenanigans, just like my discord used to make"
And you into an abundance of strong, diverse female and nonbinary characters?
Do you fight for women's wrongs?
I know rep-only recommendations can be annoying, but I'm trying to grab your attention to promote some Indie media. Luckily, though, this post isn't rep-only!
To read my full reccomendation and review of Three of Hearts, click below. ♦️♥️♣️♠️
And if you aren't in the mood for a new thing right now, consider reblogging! Maybe even ping a friend who might be into this! You love supporting queer indie creators!
Note: I am not involved with the making of the show or the game space Kings. I just really like this podcast.
The story
♠️♣️♥️♦️Three of Hearts♦️♥️♣️♠️ centers on two paragovernmental agents in a fantasy, post-war, queernormative 1950s.
Roughly 20 years before the opening, a set of heroes purged magic from the world to turn the tide of the war. But scraps of this thaumaturgic energy still remain. S.U.I.T.S (securing unpredictable injurious thaumaturgic situations) is an agency founded to deal with everything left behind.
When two of the longest standing employees at S.U.I.T.S, Agent Vellum and Agent Felspar, are called onto a new case involving stone crops and a missing person, Felspar isn't surprised (Though Vellum, who's injury had him doing desk work most of his career, is). Things devolve quickly when the Agents realize this case comes from Felspar's home town of Cloven heart, an idyllic magical village that prefers to handle justice on it's own.
Answers yield only more questions, as the Agents realize almost everyone in town has something to hide, and Felspar isn't the only one whose past keeps catching up to him:
How much magic is still around? What's Vellum got sloshing around in there that people think is so juicy? What is Diamond, elven pop star and queer icon, doing in such a small town? Just how big is this case, and how can the Agents balance their legal responsibility, with promises they've made to Cloven Heart?
WHEN. WILL. THEY. JUST. KISS?
(if you're skeptical about central romances, I get it! See notes on aro/aceness and platonic relationships in the rep section for more info)
The combination of magic and newfangled war tech — think telegrams and radios — is somehow just as charming as a rotating cast of characters who will each stake their claim on your heart, but betrayal is imminent and mistrust is rife. The story strikes a wonderful balance between slice of life goodness, and edge-of-your-seat high drama, culminating In a show I highly recommend.
But are they just reskinned cops: my answer has got to be no. While they are technically law enforcement, the main two are entering a commune-like space, where that isn't so welcome. It's a situation they treat with caution and respect. The classic cop-plot of "Should I make myself judge, jury, and executioner because The Bad Guy™ deserves punishment" just isn't a problem. The justice system isn't perfect, in our world or the show's, and the story acknowledges that. But in a social, cultural way, they don't act like cops. They DO act like detectives. But the rules they choose to break and the ones they choose to follow will hopefully satisfy my fellow cop-haters who crave a good mystery
The format
♠️♣️♥️♦️Three of Hearts♦️♥️♣️♠️ is an Indie actual play — this is not DnD, hear me out — podcast in the game Space Kings. All the tension of dice rolls, without drawn out combat or clunkiness, it's a breeze of story-forward listening, even if you've never listened to actually play podcasts before!
If you've tried dnd actual plays, and haven't like the flow of them, I would recommend trying this. A few encounters that may feel random (though they're not) get the story kicked off at a fast pace, but it quickly settles into a story with a tight plot, great pacing, and impactful character development.
The use of a playing card deck to see the outcomes of risky actions means that no matter what happens, success or failure, the tension keeps rising. And the hosts do a wonderful job of explaining mechanics in the show, so it never interrupts the listening experience.
Actual-play connessuires who want to primarily see people playing a game might not be satisfied, as bonuses are given liberally, and I would describe the podcast as more story focused than game focused, But the risks are ALWAYS real, sometimes (often) with thrilling, shocking outcomes.
Also concerned AP listeners should know there's some chaos magic involved! I was surprised when it first came up, and doubtful about how it might affect the story, but it ended up weaving into the rest of the plot really well, and I feel neither like it had no affect, nor like it shook up everything the party was building in an unsatisfying way. Personally I would have preferred to go in knowing it was there, but I also don't think it's major enough to belong in the main synopsis. Now you know, though!
The hosts make a real effort to blend stats and story, and I think the pull it off wonderfully without spending too much time on mechanics. If you want to see that though, session 0 and other details are on the Patreon (where you get the same content no matter how much you pay, at a minimum of a dollar a month).
The pod has all the lighthearted fun and banter of a "friends around the table" show, but never once have I had that "oh my god, I'm not a part of your inside joke, shut up and play!" Feeling.
I think it's a delight for AP and non-AP fans alike.
The episodes: roughly 45- 75 minutes long, with a midtro and some post-end music scenes, so listen through the end music, or check that there isn't extra content by seeing how close the play head is when the end music starts. It's not too long and quite pleasant in my opinion! The midtros always come at a nice moment to step back from the story, and are not too long and not irritating. I enjoyed listening to them! At some point, a midtro starts getting reused, and I was slightly disappointed I wasn't hearing new jokes every episode, but it's a small thing. I skip the repetitive ones with my 30 seconds forward button, and while I haven't timed the Intro, that's worked really well for me. I don't have to fiddle with my play head to make sure I don't skip forward too far. Super convient.
Trigger warnings: the show is pretty lighthearted! Listeners sensitive non-graphic mentions of needles, blood, and/or guns might want to skip on this one, but most episodes don't get heavy. The few that do have pre episodes notes that warn you things get dark, how they get dark, and how to skip the darkest bits. Personally, I listened through them and enjoyed those parts a lot! But if that's not your thing, I agree with the warning that they're very skippable, and I think trigger-sensitive listeners will be pleased. As an indie pod, there are no fan made, super specific lists of triggers. However, my DMs are always open if you have particular concerns, and I'll answer to the best of my ability.
I try to emphasize the balance between lightheartedness and drama, but if you mental health is sensitive to grim & dark media, i think this one is pretty safe. Please always exercise caution! But I'd describe 30♥️s as emotionally restful.
Transcripts: transcripts are in the works, but do not currently exist. Three of Hearts is a non-scripted show, so those are also unavailable
The rep
Don't you hate when someone raves about rep and you go in expecting something good and get like. One dog-boy described as having "chocolate colored skin"? Or when people make a "watch for rep" post and then mention like. Gay and maybe trans people and that's it, even when shows DO have disability and POC rep? Yeah that's not me. Here's the spoiler free rundown, race is at the bottom because I get into more detail with it, not because it isn't important:
Edit: For more on some of these topics from a hosts perspective, see the reblogged addition by @/citrusandsalt
MLM characters: Main characters, one confirmed bi the other unknown
Wlw characters: Reoccurring side characters (present or mentioned in every episode I think) Married. Orientation unspecified.
Enby love: LOTS. It's actually hard to really categorize mlm and wlw stuff because almost every character is nonbinary. Anyways— it's VERY queer
Women: I...I don't know exactly which characters are women 😂. But there are many feminine characters, and they're badass as fuck. Some are compassionate, some are cold, some are chaotic, most are a mix! The two main characters are...masculine...(I say with much hesitation) but you will not feel robbed for your woman-ly content.
Non-traditional family structures: All of the families in the story, pretty much, are non-traditional. Adoption is super common. (You want some wlw who just KEEP adopting kids? You got em) Found family is a MASSIVE force in the story. Also, It's a post-war story.........which is to say almost everyone's parents are dead.
Edit: an MC had poly parents, which may not be obvious but is true!
Polyamory: to my knowledge so far, there are polyam characters, and it is definitely present in the world! But no poly relationships in the forefront. I am about 2/3 through the current episodes, so there may be a present polyamorous relationship later, but also if I confirmed it that would be a spoiler. This may be that "playing it by ear" thing that happens with ttrpgs. I wouldn't listen for the hope of polyamory alone, but I don't tell you it's not there/won't happen.
Trans characters: almost all of them. Might think "oh there are only a few!" And you are wrong. You are so wrong.
Neopronoun users: yup! To my knowledge, minor characters. A handful who use at least he/she/they or they/them and may also use neos in a manner im forgetting
Plurality: no system characters yet, but the creators are friendly, I asked ;)
Platonic relationships: YES. As an aro person who hates so many romance tropes this one gets my stamp of approval. There's no real jealousy drama, exes who communicate and are supportive, and romance doesn't kill friendships. There's a central sibling relationship and non-familial platonic ones that have conflict, drama, resolutions, and a deeply satisfying significance in the story. If you don't like romance at all, this one might not be for you. If you just don't like stories exclusively about romance, I think you'll enjoy this. Genre wise, I'd definitely describe three of hearts as a mystery primarily with a strong romantic subplot, not a romance itself, and that comes through in player and character's additives and priorities.
Aro/ace characters: none confirmed yet to my knowledge. Romance is very central, sex is joked about on occasion but it isn't at the forefront of the story at all. There are many, single characters who are thriving.
Edit: Actually! There is one character who discusses demiromanticism in cannon that I forgot, and another confirmed out of cannon character who is ace. Both are non-main major characters!
Age diversity: the youngest characters in the show are older to middling teens, and the oldest are in their 400s. Okay but the oldest in human terms are roughly 60-70. The most common age range, and the ones the central characters are in, is 30-40. The second most common is that 60-70, then some ~40-50 folks here and there, with people in their 20s being probably the rarest (no named ones off the top of my head?) And there are a small number of teens. This is not a story about youth and youthful beauty. Generally, the older a character becomes the most bad ass/spooky powerful they are, and older characters are very involved in the plot.
Mental illness and neurodivergency: to my knowledge so far no characters are in cannon confirmed to have a specific mental illness or ND, though I wouldn't be surprised if it was part of a character or the main characters, and just hadn't come up. Listeners with cluster b or "scary" disorders, or with conditions that may cause them to lash out, will find satisfaction with how compassionately the narrative treats werefolk. To say more encounters spoilers. I would also say that depression, while the word isn't used and it is not central to the story, is present as a narrative force, and also treated wisely and with compassion. Still, as is usually for a good story, all of these bitches need therapy.
Disability: LOTS. There's a lot of "different, not broken" themes that disabled listeners are likely to love, but both of the main characters are disabled! One is a cane user, the other experiences migraines. These have a genuine, pressing, mechanical impact on the story. It's COMES UP. It's a real joy. For a magical world, there is no magical healing! Or there is, but it isn't a perfect solution, which in my opinion is just a magical version of real healing, though yours may differ! Also, there is a minor, reoccurring character who's a wheelchair user, and I think he's really fun.
Disfigurement: Excuse me if I am not prepared with the most sensitive way to speak about this, but I'm doing my best! There is a character with no eyes or nose, who is central and lovely. To my knowledge, there are no amputee characters or characters with limb differences (of the wheelchair user I'm not sure if it's specified whether or not he has legs). There is a character of questionable morality who has significant facial and bodily disfigurement. In as few spoilers as possible: this was not injury or genetic related. The disfigurement is treated with a firm compassion, and does not exist as a "this character is evil" signal. It's a long arc, but I imagine people who relate will be satisfied, though I cannot speak for anyone.
Characters of color: many! The main two are Hispanic and Asian. Terms like "dark skinned" are used for characters, but in the fantasy world race doesn't exactly translate, and I wouldn't call it "important" in this story. Read more about race below:
Fantasy racism: sort of! The word "race" is used to mean "humanoid species" and I know some folks don't like that? None of these fantasy races are oppressed, but specific people (Magic versus non-magic people) have conflict about that aspect of their identity, and policing is a related concern. I would place the allegory more in the space of transness and disability/neurodivergency if pressed to choose, but it doesn't feel like it's trying to tell a story about real-world oppression, primarily. I have more complicated thoughts on exactly what I'm trying to communicate here, but they involved some spoilers. DM me for more info!
Hosts/creator identity: out of three hosts, two are white, one is not! They are very queer, and disability is also...a thing! These are real life people, so I'm not going to get into detail, but check out their twitters plugged in the show for more on how they self-identify.
Okay but are they racist: Real talk! As a black person who thinks I keep my ears sharp, I would say no! Not at all! This is one of those situations where I was like "YOU'RE WHITE?" And shocked about it, (if you listened to TSCOSI, same vibe) which is a very good thing in my books. The hosts are open and sensitive, and I have no complaints, however, this is just one perspective! This isn't coincidental, race is an active consideration in how the story is told — just not a central theme.
Edit: One of the hosts, Essay (@/citrusandsalts) discussed more on hosts identities in a reblog! If this concerns you, and you want less of me walking on eggshells about other people's identities, read her addition too!
Edit 2: Jordan, the GM also has commented additions!
Minor but worth mentioning: A minor character has a name with what I believe is the Nahuatl "tl" sound in it, which is not pronounced correctly. It's a really hard sound! I can't really do it! But if that really irritates you this might not be the podcast for you.
People who might be interested in this post, as always let me know if you don't want to be pinged (I rarely ever do this) and it won't happen again: @citrusandsalt @fyeahaudiodrama @boombox-fuckboy

Stop Posting Hate and Disinformation in Endogenic Tags!
Tumblr media
Does it? Are you sure? Because that's a really bold way to start off a post in a community with a lot of people who have PTSD!
But even bolder is this claim:
Tumblr media
I would ask for the source for this, but I already know it.
youtube
Now, to be fair, there is a lot of wiggle room where some can argue semantics of what an "alter" is.
Luckily, today we aren't arguing semantics, as they made it clear in a comment that they don't believe endogenic systems are experiencing any sort of plurality! Yay!
Tumblr media
Now, back to their claims... it's true that most evidence of any forms of consciousness in psychology is based on believing people's personal experiences.
Psychology is distinct from neuroscience in this way. Hopefully, we can get neurological evidence too. Stanford University was conducting an fMRI study into tulpamancers. But that study isn't complete yet.
But it is worth noting that practically every researcher who has looked into endogenic and non-disordered plurality do believe it's a real phenomena.
As mentioned above, Stanford University has invested anywhere from tens of thousands of dollars to hundreds of thousands of dollars into a neurological study of tulpamancers.
The ICD-11 by the World Health Organization states that you can have multiple "distinct personality states" without a disorder.
The creators of the theory of structural dissociation have said that hypnosis and spiritual mediumship may create "self-conscious dissociated parts of the personality."
Transgender Mental Health by Eric Yarbrough has an entire chapter discussing plurality, including acknowledging non-disordered and endogenic plurality. Eric Yarbrough is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, and this book was published by APA Publishing.
And these are but a few.
Psychiatrists and psychologists overwhelming support the existence of endogenic plurality.
Tumblr media
Is there any reason for the human brain to just randomly decide to be a singlet?
Why do the 80-billion neurons in the human brain just decide to be one person? Why is a singlet treated as inherently the default for humanity?
Tumblr media
Total side tangent, but not all alters fit neatly into the ANP/EP dichotomy. The thing that defines an ANP is not simply being dissociated from the trauma, but trying to continue on with normal life and avoid it. Hence, being "apparently normal."
Many alters though, just don't fit into that as described. I would argue that a non-traumagenic alter who never fronts isn't really an ANP according to the Theory of Structural Dissociation.
Tumblr media
Yup. That's why I'm responding to this. Your post is nothing but misinformation.
Tumblr media
Most words have etymology in other cultures. Hurricane, for example, comes from an indigenous religion that referred to storm gods. This is a natural process as cultures interact.
For the record, "tulpamancy" IS created headmates. The term "tulpamancy" is purely Western, with the -mancy suffix originating in Latin. And whether you like it or not, the ongoing studies into tulpamancy will be into this Western practice, not the Tibetan sprul pa from which it draws its etymology.
Tumblr media
Maybe you should take your own advice.
Although if you have a single credible source proving that endogenic plurality can't exist, you're welcome to show me.
Tumblr media
You: "Stay out of DID/OSDD spaces" Also You: *Tags post as "#endogenic" and "#endogenic systems"*
Anyway, as always, anti-endos coming into endogenic tags means the response goes to anti-endo tags. If anti-endos do not like me posting in their tags, please take a moment to explain to @frenzyborderlines why crosstagging into our spaces is bad (and incredibly hypocritical from someone telling endogenic systems to stay out of CDD spaces) so I won't need to do this again.

— Previous Chapter
Tumblr media
Stripped down to nothing but your shirt and your panties, you sit still and watch Joel as he gently presses the damp cloth against your stinging soles. He’s calm—for now, and you push away any thoughts of fighting back, the ache pulsing through your cheek acting as a solid reminder of the anger and violence he hides within.
Yet the fear keeps a tight grip on you as you see his eyes rove up the length of your legs, hearing him release a shuddering breath when he exhales heavily, your fingers digging into your duvet upon noticing his eyes grow darker, hunger swimming in those hazel orbs as they land on the apex of your thighs.
It’s still unclear to you why he’s doing this. Why the man you’ve known for years and have treated like family, someone you trusted with your life chooses to hurt you in the most sinister and sickening way.
It has your thoughts flitting to your dad, the one who introduced you to this man, wanting to run to him and reveal to him the true colors of the one he calls his best friend. But you know not how or when you’ll be able to get the chance to do so, or worse, you don’t know if he would believe you of your confession.
Doubts begin swirling in your head, the anxiety closing in that you shudder at the image of your father being ignorant to his friend’s sins. Because how can he believe you when you can’t even believe it yourself—that Joel would do such a thing and such quick succession, leaving you in a constant state of confusion addled with dread.
A ticklish sensation running up the inside of your calf takes you away from your thoughts and you stare in horror, freezing in your seat when Joel sets down the cloth and spreads your legs wide, his fingers digging into the meat of your thighs as his lips trail soft kisses against your skin.
“Joel—” you whimper when he nears your cunt, “What are you doing?”
“Hush, baby,” he whispers while nuzzling his nose against the cotton of your panties. “I just want to make you feel good, make you feel better.”
You push your hands against his shoulders, urging to stop when he laps his tongue against your clothed cunt, dampening the fabric. A squeal of shock then leaves your lips when he hooks his fingers on its waistband and effortlessly slips them down your legs and off your ankles. You try to kick him away, wriggling yourself off the bed but your strength is no match with his as he easily grabs your leg and pulls you back to him on the edge of the mattress.
“Where do you think you’re going, sweetheart?” Joel chuckles darkly and you whine when he hooks his arms underneath your thighs and presses his palm down your abdomen, effectively locking you in place and pinning you down on the bed. “I’m over here.”
“Please—Joel,” you plead, tears rolling down the side of your face. “Please stop—I don’t want any of this.”
“But how would you know what you want when I haven’t even started yet?” He smirks and doesn’t even give you a chance to respond as he proceeds to press a languid kiss against your clit before circling the tip of his tongue around it.
Gasps and moans leave your lips, shame washing over you as the sense of pleasure takes over your entire being. His beard tickles your skin, rubbing it raw as he sucks on your precious bud hard and your hand constantly pushes against his shoulders, slapping his head stop him from his depravity. But even then he’s unfettered by your assault and only responds with a low growl.
Your lips part and your breath hitches, desire blooming deep in your core when he teases your slit with his thick finger. Slowly, he pushes it in and you grab onto his dark locks, pulling on them hard as your pussy takes him, sucks him in and you whine when he adds another, the thick digits stretching you wide as he plunges them deep to the knuckle.
A battle between your mind and body then erupts from within, the desire to push him away yet at the same time, to pull him close as you slowly begin climbing your peak. Your pelvis moves on their own accord, fucking yourself against his hand and his mouth with your mind going blank as all you can think of is chasing your release.
“That’s it, baby—” he mumbles against your mound, trailing soft kisses on the expanse of your hips as he quickens the movement of his hand, moaning incoherently when his fingertips poke against your sweet spot, your body rising further and further as your core curdles and your spine ripples in want. “Take what you want from me.” He coaxes you further, hand gripping hard on your thigh and lips circling back around your clit, sucking hungrily, tongue flicking and fueling further the fire burning within.
Your eyes then blow wide and your pussy lips flutter around his digits when you finally reach your peak and come hard on his hand. Your toes curl as your essence gushes out of you, coating his digits, your chest heaving as you slowly come down from your high and lay limp on the bed, strings of moans slipping past your lips as Joel continues to thrust his fingers in deep.
He pulls away and you close your eyes, breathing heavy as a sense of relief takes over you upon thinking that the worse has already pass. But your respite is disturbed when you feel your shirt slipping up your body, your bra following its wake and a chill of the air kissing your skin when you’re left naked on the bed.
“You say you don’t want this but your body tells me the opposite, baby,” he drones against your hair, feeling him press a kiss at the crown of your head.
You try to open your eyes but the exhaustion makes your movements sluggish. Still, it doesn’t stop you from hearing the rustle of clothing and feeling the bed dip, your lips trembling when Joel leans down and runs his lips up your sternum. His hands trail up the sides of your waist then cup the underside of your tit, teeth nibbling on the plump flesh before latching his lips around your stiff nipple and sucking on them softly.
“No more—please,” you beg, moving your hands to push him away once more.
But such efforts are fruitless when his mouth leaves your chest, but not after biting the skin, trailing it up to your neck. You groan when you’re turned to your side and feel Joel’s naked chest press against your back.
“I’ve wanted you for so long, baby—” he breathes against your ear, your breath hitching when he wraps an arm around you and his fingers framing your neck, effectively pulling you closer to him. “And now that I have you, I’m never letting you go.”
You moan when you feel the tip of his length prodding against your slickened pussy, your hand grabbing onto his wrist by your neck and the other reaching down to push his pelvis away. But once more, you’re helpless against his persistence, your fingers digging onto his flesh instead when he finds your entrance, a cry of despair escaping you all the same as he finally impales you with his cock.

a│s : agere & disabilities
whe most people think of agere, being an age regressor and having a disability usually doesn't come hand in hand- and if it does, it's meant in a negative & hurtful way.
which invalidates the vast majority of us who just simply want to be accepted for who we are.
so, for my fellow disabled people, here are some positive words of encouragement.
☾ : be confident.
i know we're always told to hide away and don't bring any attention to ourselves, but why should we? we're not monsters that deserve to live in the shadows, we're human too!
we're allowed to exist just like any other person! <3
☼: be vocal.
if comfortable, speak about your illness. help clear up misconceptions and bring light to what it's actually like to live the way you do. sometimes people don't mean to jump to conclusions, they're just a little ill-formed on what your condition actually is- so educate them, use your platform for good <3.
☾: be proud.
remember through all of this how valid you are. you're still valid even if you can't regress everyday, if you do things a different way to others, if you can't communicate like others can & so much more.
things can be changed and altered to fit you, not the other way around. remember that, okay?
☼: you'll always have support.
support will always be offered to those who need it!
as a proud disabled creator, my page will always be a safe place for those who feel alone. you have nothing to be ashamed about, you're perfectly perfect to me- and everybody else on this page
you'll always have a community to call home over here <3

Welcome, My darlings!
(read below to find my boundaries & rules)
Before reading please note that I'm not really doing voice impressions anymore, as of right now! However if I ever decide to pick them up again, these rules still stand!
If I don't get to your request, keep in mind it could be for many reasons! Boundaries, current priorities, whether I can even do it due to the filter I have to use, time management, efficiency, whether I understood it or not, (which is very common for me to not be able to.. Understand alot of things-) it could be a variety of reasons! I'm not mad at you or upset, and I hope you're not upset with me! And if i don't do your request, please don't message me personally and complain! It's very hurtful, I cannot do everyones unfortunately! If i could, I would!
I would prefer only peeps ages 13+ to interact with this blog, Unless it is a little-space/younger listener directed audio or just a regular post! (Fellow age regressors can interact, however... Know that I do a lot of gore art at times & unsettling audios! So please read trigger warnings!) And for those who don't know/understand... here is an info document on pet and age regression!
Boundaries for my audio requests, Tw for SH, SA, and Abuse mentions:
---------------------------------------
- Yes, you can request audios! But I strictly ONLY do non-sexual, mostly sfw content. Nothing nsfw (as in sexual or suggestive) I'm an asexual-minor and that makes me uncomfortable! I can do scary stuff, horror, etc... Things are bound to get gorey because I'm partially a gore artist... But nothing sexual. Anything sexual is a BIG NO.
- I cannot do any singing or screaming audios in wally's voice unfortunately, because the filter I require to use in order to do those impressions, does not work with singing! (Yes, I have to use a filter!)
- I Can do comfort audios, but i cannot make anything related to s3xual assult or self harm, as it's a personal trigger for me and I can't make videos like that for many other reasons! I'm unsure if I can do anything related to topics of death as well, please respect that I may not do everyones requests, for personal reasons of my own!
- please be nice! I'm not perfect at wally's voice, but I do work hard to make them sound as close as I can! So please, no hurtful criticism or hurtful comments please!
- Be patient with me, I will work to post as often as I can but i cannot promise every day! I have other things going on outside of tumblr!
- please keep in mind that the creator of welcome home and wally is PARTYCOFFIN, all the characters belong to party coffin, and I am NOT the original voice actor! Go support wally's ACTUAL voice actor, @DaFrankiestein!
- I'm not 100% sure I can do audios related to petregression for some personal reasons, so I'm sorry about that! That's no fault on any petregressors out there, I'm sure you're wonderful! I'm sorry! I hope you get the comfort you need and have a wonderful day! Big hugs for you all!
- I know this may upset some, but please no requests for physical abuse related comfort! That's a very triggering topic for me, and a very heavy subject. Please talk to someone close to you who can help if you are being abused, not a wally impressionist. I hope you are all alright, please get help if you're in a dangerous situation if you can
- Please keep in mind none of the things I do or say are cannon to the welcome home story!! I do not work with clown or any of the VA's! These are simply meant to be fan-made and fictional!
- If I'm on break, or simply not posting impressions often... I apologize! It's most likely because of real life issues or affairs! Please do not rush me or pry for information on why! I'm not quitting, I may continue eventually, but impressions ain't the only thing I do and I wish to move on! I'll try my best to keep up with some type of content whether that's impressions or artwork, chats, etc etc!
- If you are lgbtqia+ phobic, don't support dissociative systems, don't respect age/pet-regressors, don't support furries, or anything along these lines and furthermore... Please DNI! I myself am very gay, an age regressor, and a furry! Keep scrolling on by if you don't like that, hon!
- Posting voice impressions is not all that I do! It is a hobby I partake in when and if I want to, so I will post other things at times or not post impressions for a bit from time to time! I do not force myself to make audios, I will make them when I make them!
And again, Yes! I use a voice filter for all my voices! I cannot naturally fluctuate my voice into how it is in my videos, I can stretch my voice range however! I still do all the editing, layering, MOST of the sound effects, and everything else you see in the videos I make!
