Time and Wild bonding over their moon trauma. Time and Wild bonding just in general. Time and Malon just kind of adopting Wild. Twilight joining their little family as somewhere between a dad and older brother to Wild. Just those four being a family. Epona being there too.

The rest of the chain being like the cousins you see mainly on holidays except they see each other all the time and they’re more like brothers too.

Malon and Wild cooking together. Twilight and Wild helping take care of Epona together. Time and Wild outside watching the moon, making sure it’s acting normal on a night neither of them can sleep. I think that even though Charmy is like a son to Vector and Vector is kind of like a dad to Charmy, Espio sees them both as a younger brother and older brother respectively.

Since Espio is way more mature and also older, it wouldn’t make sense to be seen as a son to Vector. They do have a four year age gap after all, and that’s very little.

But it’s not really probable that Espio would be seen as another father figure to Charmy, because 1) Charmy already does have a father figure, that being Vector, so there’s not really a need for him to have another one, 2) Espio is very mature and collected for his age, but i don’t think he’d see himself being exactly fitting to be someone’s father-figure of all things. Older brother? Sure, but father is kind of a stretch. He feels too young for that (he is).

So, it’s kinda complicated. Vector has a younger brother and a son, Espio has two brothers and Charmy has a dad and an older brother. Or they could all count as three brothers to make it easier, but i don’t feel like that’s what properly fits them.

Or we could just call them found family and that’s it. No labels, just three people seeing each other as family.
