I’m sitting here, thinking about possible ships in Stardew Valley that don’t involve the farmer. I’ve seen quite a few. Of course there’s the canon stuff, aka the married couples and Marnie with Lewis. It’s also canon that Alex says he’s jealous if you get with Haley. Ignoring Clint and Emily because I’m sorry but that’s literally “nice guy creepy incel” getting the girl.

But! I don’t like most of the married couples AND I don’t like Marnie with Lewis. So I’m gonna go on a little exploration here.

Lately I’ve been thinking a lot of Caroline and the Wizard. First of all I absolutely think that Abigail is the Wizard’s kid, but I also don’t think those two actually… like each other? I think it was more of a fling than anything. But low key? Part of me thinks the Wizard and Lewis could be kinda fun, I’ve also seen art of the Razzy with Marlon. Which would be fun! But I do think it’s really cute when Marlon says that Marnie is really pretty. It’s just precious to me.

But BUT, crazy thought

Willy and Razzy mic Dazzle???? HEAR ME OUT HEAR ME OUT

Willy is a traveler! He fishes all over the place!!! He’s gotta have experience with sea monsters and weird magics, and imagine the Wizard requests some specific sea based spells or works with him to help find merpeople OR ensures the seas and skies are calm so that he can sail safely. DO YOU SEE MY VISION???

Cough, so— I’m thinking Willy with Razzmocious and Marnie breaking up with Lewis and Marlon slowly winning her over himself. Caroline though? Honestly don’t think she’s the happiest with Pierre, he’s pretty shit. Low key I like her with Jodi haha. Like Kent isn’t bad, not at all, I just don’t think Jodi loves him. But Caroline and Jodi feel a bit too obvious, so… hear me out… Caroline and Gunther. She regularly visits the library so— gah yeah that’s stupid. Caroline deserves someone who will just cuddle with her and Jodi needs someone who makes her feel alive again. They’ve got different needs. Kent also needs a lot of love and therapy, which I don’t think Jodi can provide. Ok, I’m gonna move on to an easier one I’m dying here.

Sam and Sebastian are so obvious, going insane here. 100% ship them. I’ve seen some people throw Abigail into the mix, but personally I’m not the biggest fan of that. Honestly? I’m kinda into Abigail and Haley—

OK LISTEENNNNN, listen. Abigail’s 14 heart scene… imagine if Haley was there instead of the farmer. It just fits so perfectly. Pretty girlfriend loving buff girlfriend. I THINK ITS CUTE OK LEAVE ME ALONE SOB SOB SOB

Speaking of the girls, I like Maru and Penny together a lot. I just see them around town together all the time and I think it’s super cute haha. Ah shoot, that reminds me of Robin. I do not like Demetrius, personally. Though I suppose there marriage seems to work. I wouldn’t break them apart.

Ok, now on to my hotter tea. Harvey and Shane. Harvey is just so sweet and so loving and so nice and caring and Shane has no experience with that and Harvey gets Shane access to a therapist dhkfhwkd— I think it’s cute. I think it would be really cute if they started hanging out and Shane realized how poorly Harvey ate and started scolding him like “You’re always scolding me but you eat like this?” And just keeps going as he cooks them both a meal and gruffly sets it out for Harvey and—

Ok my other somewhat hot take, Elliott and Alex. The reasoning here might be iffy, but I like the idea of Alex getting with a guy who broadens his range of what masculinity means. I think it would also be cute if Alex slowly gained a love for reading through Elliott. Plus I think Alex could be a magnificent muse given his past. It could be cute.

Oh and my final take is Morris and Pierre should hatefuck

But yeah, I don’t necessarily ship all these. Like, actively and actually ship them. I might one day, but right now I’m just sitting in my thought stew.

okay so i need to rant?? because i am so confused

so avery just discovered the DON'T TRUST ANYONE message right? obviously she goes for eve because she's the one that's new and we don't know

but i can't get this out of my head!! what if it meant don't trust the hawthornes?????

like, the old man KNEW he raised strategists, who where prepared to do what it takes to win. every single one of them is like that (in theory)

so what if that's exactly what it is??? a strategy to get avery?

like, don't get me wrong, i think the boys didn't plan to actually like her, but everything around avery is just SO CONVENIENT

like, each hawthorne brother somehow got close to avery's closest people and her: nash with libby, xander with max and obviously grayson and jameson are close to avery herself (in different ways obviously, but you get what i mean)

another thing that sets me off is that in the game the old man left for avery we still haven't solved the usb, right? and the boys know that nothing gets left unused at the end of a game, but they are so quick to disregard that when it starts to make avery suspicios??

idk how to explain this properly and i desperately hope i'm completely wrong, but what if all of this is an elaborate plan to get avery to renounce the inheritance? the timing is too perfect, just before she is meant to actually inherit everything all of this happens...

i really can't believe i'm saying this but right now i don't trust any of the hawthornes

Okay but seriously I still think Loki survived Infinity War.

Ragnarok is an apocalyptic event, which means he can take actions at Ragnarok without creating a new branch - he can avoid detection by the TVA

We know from the S1 finale that one of his variants successfully survived Thanos, hiding himself among the rubble, only generating a variant when he went back to seek out Thor

Therefore, it is possible for TVA-Loki to travel back in time to Ragnarok-Loki, warn him about the coming danger, fake his death to hide from Thanos and the TVA. All he needs to do is lay low until the timeline changes from the sacred timeline to becoming Yggdrasil. At that point, TVA-Loki is holding the multiverse together and Ragnarok/Infinity War Loki can emerge from hiding and help fight in the multiverse war against He Who Remains.

I mean, 'the sun will shine on us again, brother'?!

I pledge to you my UNDYING fidelity?

Infinity War Loki knew that the multiverse War was coming. He didn't fight Thanos or try to protect the tesseract because he was positioning himself for the coming multiversal war.

We see Wukong eating peach chips almost all seasons, specially season 1 and 2? In season 3 he also eats them, but its not as predominant as the first two seasons.

Maybe he is bored and he eats out of boredom, because he likes it, or other reasons, but I think... he does it because of anxiety?

Anxiety eating is so common, it is often caused by strong emotions in order to avoid those emotions, or simply because you're in a lot of stress.

Why would Wukong eat out of anxiety?

Thoughts. Thoughts about the past. Imagine that he is so overwhelmed by those thoughts that his only remedies are eating.

Anyways I'm probably analysing too much, and he is just eating, lmao 😭 I find him relatable. OK 👍🏻

Okay spoilers for the season finale of Hazbin hotel ahead. You have been warned

Holy fuck. Holy fuck. So much happened but I specifically want to talk about Alastor and his near death experience/ subsequent mental breakdown. The line "Alastor Altruist died for his friends." Made me go absolutely bonkers, that paired with earlier in the episode where he tells Nifty he could almost get used to their company and find it nice while fondly looking out over them. I think he's legitimately starting to get attached, and I think that scares the everloving shit out of him.

Because being attached means weakness. We saw that when wounded Alastor was able to retreat so putting his life on the line probably wasn't part of whatever deal he struck , BUT he did it ANYWAYS to help Charlie and the other hotel inhabitants. He started to put others above himself which ended in himself being hurt and I think thats part of why he had such a visceral reaction, not just the fact that he was hurt in general but because he's struggling with not allowing himself to have a weakness at all costs versus some genuine growing affection. I can not wait to see more. Season 2 can't come soon enough.

you could theoretically read the series in the order 8.5, 9.5, 9 instead of 8.5, 9, 9.5 because books 9 and 9.5 take place parallel to each other but also sophie and keefe never interact between them so hypothetically there should be no difference (and no spoilers either way).

another thing you could theoretically do is alternate between reading books 9 and 9.5. a chapter here, a chapter there. it would be like reading a longer version of unlocked, with the povs alternating between sophie and keefe.

in fact, in theory, there could be a possibility of even less spoilers if you read it 8.5, 9.5, 9. for example, if vespera makes an appearance in unraveled, and you didn't know she would die yet, it could be a really cool way to see her last minute and have an extra layer about her before her death. whereas if vespera makes an appearance in unraveled and you already know she's going to die, it feels a little more empty. not completely meaningless, but like. kinda empty. like if vespera hints at a larger plan or something in unraveled and you didn't know she was going to die, you'd be super excited to see this plan shake out, but now that we know she's going to die something like that wouldn't hit as hard.

Ohohoho, the First Shadow spoilers trickling in certainly have me thinking thoughts.

Specifically, thoughts about my Mind Flayer origin theory.

Major TFS spoilers ahead. Bear in mind that I haven't seen the play for myself; I'm relying on opening night leaks, which may or may not be accurate. Do what you wish with that information.

Looks like I got the powers part of my theory totally wrong, but that's fine, because that part wasn't really necessary for the theory to work.

The important question is whether or not the black cloud was created by El when she disintegrated Henry in the lab... and whether I got that right or wrong hinges on a particular detail I'm dying to learn more about.

I need to know what he drew.

If he drew a formless cloud, then I guess the Mind Flayer really is just some evil extra-dimensional alien that always existed and has nothing to do with El. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But if he drew the spider monster. In 1959. When we know Henry wouldn't create it until at least 1979?

Then we've almost certainly got ourselves a predestination paradox -- the perfect vehicle for telling a story about the cycle of abuse. Let's recontextualize what S4 showed us:

Young Henry gets trapped in Dimension X and is possessed by the Mind Flayer, granting him powers. Later, he draws the monster that possessed him.

Adult Henry, driven batshit fucking insane by his decades-long enthrallment to both the Mind Flayer and Dr. Brenner, slaughters the lab kids to absorb their powers and tries to encourage his favourite to join him in super-villainy.

She refuses. He tries to kill her.

Terrified and desperate, Eleven uses the powers she inherited from him to turn him into a mass of black particles and chucks the whole sorry lot into an alternate dimension.

Henry finds the cloud of black particles in Dimension X.

He immediately recognizes them for what they are, and realizes that he and the particles haven't just been sent back to Dimension X, but back in time.

The thing possessing him had been his older self all along.

He fashions the cloud into the monster he saw as a child -- becomes the predator he was always born to be -- and lies in wait, like a spider in its web, for the cycle to repeat.

DC x DP Idea Thing #2

Child of Freeze AU

MR. FREEZE WOULD BE SUCH A GOOD DAD, YOU CAN'T TELL ME OTHERWISE.

When I first discovered the DC x DP crossover, specifically when the realization sank in that Danny had ice powers, my brain immediately went into overdrive about that and added "WHAT IF DAD!FREEZE" into the mix here.

It's only now my brain wanted to expand on it.

We have the usual trope here that Danny's parents reacted badly to learning about him being Fenton, causing him to get experimented on briefly before running and later settling in Gotham. Here, they found out he was Phantom when his ghost form's appearance started to bleed through to his human form.

His black hair kept gaining white strands every day, his skin gained a paler hue with a tinge of blue only seen in the dead and the ghosts, his body temperature dropped while his heart beats were slower. Hell, he had felt some of the more subtle changes. How his eyes were sore and couldn't see properly for a week before they got better, how his ears became irritated as they shifted to be slightly pointed, and even his limbs throbbed in pain for a while.

At first, his parents chalked it up as a result of being exposed to ectoplasm for most of his life, leading to them practicing lab safety for once in hopes that these changes were temporary.

It didn't take long for them to come up with the conclusion the Phantom replaced their son and used his appearance as a disguise. At least, Maddie came to that conclusion and went immediately to dissect him.

Jack couldn't stand seeing Danny getting opened up like that. Even if he's still conflicted about whether or not Danny is Phantom or Phantom replaced him, he couldn't get the image and the cries of his son in pain out of his head. He helped Danny escape while he distracts Maddie.

Danny ends up coming to Gotham after flying as fast as he could while injured. He ends up finding a frozen place underground and proceeds to pass out as his body tries to regenerate/heal itself. He didn't notice the body suspended in a capsule nearby, having been too tired and too drained.

That's how Mr. Freeze finds him. A teen, likely 16 at most, severely injured, and surprisingly, not bothered by the sub-zero temperatures of his hideout.

I'm all for the idea that before Nora's illness came into effect, she and Victor wanted to have children. The two always had a bit of a soft spot for them anyways. (During the winter season, Freeze doesn't try to cause much villainy as this is the only time of the year he can go around without his suit. Instead, he ends up helping decorate Gotham with some Ice Sculptures and tends to entertain the children of Gotham if possible.)

Essentially, paternal instincts took over and helped Danny get better. Will he be surprised at the exponential rate Danny's healing? Yes, but he just chalks it up to him being a meta. Mr. Freeze will notice some of the unnatural traits present in Danny after all, but who is he to judge? Plus, Metas had it hard in Gotham, even if the no meta rule loosened up when Signal came about in the Batfamily.

Mr. Freeze now has two people to fret and take care of.

(Just- Danny gets adopted by Mr. Freeze, and later on, so do Ellie and Jazz even though she is already over 18 and needs to wear thick clothes)
