IWTV Trailer (me losing my freaking marbles - YOLO) Pt2

I'm just going frame by frame thru AMC'S BEAUTIFUL new IWTV trailer. But I had to split this into 2 parts cuz Tumblr won't let me post 30+ pics. 🙄

They transition from Louis telling Claudia "It's you and me," to BB!Dan being "disrespectful"--yelling at Louis wanting him to make him a vamp, like we heard in S01E01.

And they immediately cut to the clip we've seen before of Louis crying & being dragged off by some old dude (if that's a vampire I feel bad for him, LOL). This might be Claudia/Madeleine's execution, rather than the Trial itself, cuz Louis was wearing a different outfit. (And Claudia's wearing the YELLOW DRESS! Imma be sick! 😭)

So I wonder when the "best outfit" Jam Reiderson said Claudia wears is gonna take place--which I'm assuming is the red Flamenco dress from the posters.

It is SO incredible that we're actually gonna see The Trial, and LESTAT BEING THERE, and seeing Madeleine & Armand & Santiago.

It's interesting that they cut from Armand saying it wasn't SanFran where he failed Louis but Paris, and jump to hallucination!Lestat mocking Armand, yelling "HA!" Is Louis' outfit the same as the one where the old dude dragged him out crying? It kinda looks the same. So is Louis imagining Lestat being FURIOUS with Armand for what's about to happen to Claudia? I wonder why Les is in THAT suit, cuz it looks like the same one he wore in S1E03 the night he kicked Jelly Roll Morton out of town & ragged on Louis about not wanting to kill humans.

Good lord, here we go. #GoneTooSoonMadeleine. U_U And I LIKE THE IMAGERY of the joint/shared transformation, nodding to Claudia desperately wanting Louis to be her (blood) spouse, as they make Madeleine together.

Jfc Louis really did almost kill BB!Daniel. O_O He shattered all that plaster--that's brain damage for sure--no wonder he can't remember the interview, LOL. (I still think Armand used the Mind Gift to make him forget everything.)

A lot of paintings and canvases--art heist Armand?! Are we finally gonna see how he made all that money, going around stealing priceless treasures!? (You can see Armand's feet floating, LOL.) Or is the inside of that chateau his coven raided, "we own dominion!"?

Daniel asking Louis: "YOU BUY THAT?"

AMC thinks they're FUNNY! Cuz they cut right from Armand stealing art he didn't BUY, to lovebomber!Lestat laughing in the townhouse and Louis yelling in what looks like a train station? So he's freaking TF out in public (just like Paul).

Ooooo--then they have Lelio!WolfKiller!Lestat about to attack someone (Magnus? Nope, I double-checked it's Armand cuz ofc it is), looking like the freaking BEAST in his red cape--

--right before we get Lestat's POV of Louis and him fighting in Ep5.

Cuz yeah, Lestat had snapped, and was beating Louis like he was a DOG, like he wasn't even seeing a PERSON, let alone someone he was supposed to be protecting from vampires/monsters LIKE HIM--and OMFG Louis was in blue just like Belle was during the wolf attack--I hate this show.

And they immediately jump from Louis getting beat by Lestat to what I assume is Louis getting jumped by the Theatre--trapped in the coffin they were gonna bury him alive in.

What on earth is Claudia throwing? I swear I think these are bombed/blown-up body parts--pieces of someone's life gone cuz of the WAR. (And immediately cut to Loustat fighting.)

"Who are you, Louis? If there was no ME, if there was no HIM." So yes, the fan theory that Louis WANTS those pieces gone are correct. Or rather--Louis THOUGHT that having those pieces removed would help him. He thought he could recover the lost parts of himself if he wiped his mind of the painful memories. But something must've triggered him--likely finding Claudia's diaries after the 1970s--we are SOOOOO deep in Merrick territory. Cuz Louis wants those memories BACK now--with a vengeance.

*squints* Are they really GOING THERE with Lesmand!? O_O That's not Nickistat, right? Cuz the very next clip is Armand--using telekinesis on Louis (or Daniel?) WTF?!

And then we see the familiar clip of Armand using the Fire Gift when he first meets Louis. Just paralleling how much Armand openly flaunts his many gifts in front of Louis, while Lestat tried to hide everything he could do to not scare Louis away--until Ep5 ofc.

Doomed "happy" "family." YELLOW DRESS ALERT ☝️. The calm b4 ish hits the fan. They immediately cut to Claudia being "welcomed" by the Theatre and Santiago zooming thru the tunnel--

--DEATH to all of them! "F**k these vampires"--Claudia never lied!

Louis, you are just too dang pretty--GTFO off my dang screen. 😍

Give him hell, Armand! 😈 He wanted to be the Devil's Minion so bad--here you go! Look at all that glass shattering around him; no wonder Daniel's scared for his life, LOL! (If this is actually Louis throwing a fit I will DIE.)

Louis finna GO OFF on this BUFFOON! So THAT'S why Armand was mad! XD Louis (or Claudia?) was about to rip Santiago's whole jaw off! XDDDD

The sound of Louis just crying has me in a STATE. AMC is doing something SO freaking different from the film & the books. Louis is actively trying to make sense of things, as we see this poor man just suffering with PTSD and mental illness; with no one to HELP him but some crotchety old man who borderline hates him, and an old AF vampire who'd loves him so much that he'd rather have Louis forget everything cuz ignorance is bliss. 😩

Louis WANTS to remember everything. Armand does NOT want the interview. And Daniel is scared.

Holy freaking goodness, what an incredible trailer. 👏 May 12th can't get here fast enough!

i'll be honest, springtrap and nolan having personal journals has been very prominent on my mind, mainly just imagining how they write.

springtrap has very good calligraphy but it's slightly sloppy since he never figured out a comfortable position for his writing hand in his life, awhile nolan literally writes chicken scratch. even nolan can't read what he writes, he only knows what it says because he remembered what he wrote down awhile writing it.

but also im imagining their styles of writing. nolan is very expressive and impactful in his mind because you know. machine theory is a perspective fic- but im imagining it's surprisingly brief but also details nolan's feelings. it's essentially what he always wants to say but could never bear to speak it, i.e his inner dialogue translated into a physical form

springtrap? it's his diary. it's full of solid looking doodles, the occasional sketch of nolan, and probably a LOT of mentally ill and likely very bad poetry. he absolutely hides it somewhere because of just how insanely obsessed he is in love with his husband, venting his feelings but also expressing is love in one center place. he'd love tumblr

7. How do you choose which POV to write from?

Just according to the needs and form of the story, mostly. Limited third-person is my go-to for most things, but if I’m writing something in a journal or diary format, or even just if I think it would work better for the character in question, I might try first person. I did that in my OC diary Shaman, Traveler, Oracle, which was written for a diary-writing challenge, with the result that now I often (but don’t always) write segments featuring the same character as if they were extracts taken from her diary! Another example is ’Cause I Don’t, which centered on DJ from TLJ (the prompt was to write a story about a character you don’t like, and that was the best I could come up with), and he has such a distinctive speech pattern and way of expressing himself that I couldn’t resist going with first-person there, too.

16. How many fic ideas are you nurturing right now? Share one of them?

Just a couple at present, because I’ve recently returned to writing The Book of Gand and my brain is at present mostly taken up with that—so I guess many of my current ideas concern future directions to take I that story. But in addition to that, I have been planning another Lasan Series story, this time about Zeb’s first time going to the Honor Guard Ball with Shulma (OC). It’s just been a matter of figuring out some goofy, humorous crisis for them and their friends to encounter!

21. Would you ever collaborate with another writer for a story?

I’ve done this a few times, and it’s been fun—it’s just something I have to prepare for mentally, and I would want to know my collaborator very well.

22. Are there certain types of writing you won’t do? (style, pov, genre, tropes, etc)?

My main no-nos are excessive gore, heavy violence, and anything in the gross-out line. Probably NSFW will end up on that list as well; I’m still working out my feelings about it. For the most part my stories top out at a T rating, with a few isolated instances of M (which have more to do with what people call “thematic material” than anything else).

32. Name three of your favorite fanfic writers.

Oh, do I have to choose just three? 😛 I’m going to use this opportunity to shout out to three fanfic writers I enjoy who are not on Tumblr (or at least only rarely): Raissa_Baiard, Kahara_the_Ghostly_Galoomp, and a hidden treasure who isn’t (as far as I know) on AO3 either: Thumper09.

42. What’s the last fic you read? Do you recommend it?

Why yes! It was a recently posted vignette by @jedi-valjean: The Doqvic Method, in which an OC police officer on Coruscant takes a unique and off-the-beaten-track approach to deal with a spice dealer he’s recently arrested. It ties into his longer magnum opus, the Stars in Their Multitudes series. Very keen character crafting achieved in a small number of words!

61. Why do you continue writing fics?

The best I can say is because I feel I still have some stories in me worth telling, and because there are people out there who seem to enjoy them! I’m not aiming for popularity—I’ve made my peace with that long ago—but I love the community this fan fiction writing hobby of ours creates between writers and readers, and that’s always been one of the most fulfilling things about it for me.

How I'd Write a "Doctor Who" series

So I made my Tumblr page in the first place so that I could do two things - the first is to ramble here instead of to friends so that I annoyed them less, the second being to write out story ideas that I've had as a sorta web-diary-blog-thingie.

This is part of that web-diary-blog-thingie.

I really love Doctor Who and I always wanted to write something about them, lockdown and university giving me that opportunity. In this post is my mad ramblings about a story where the Doctor's companion is Dorian Gray.

WHO'S DORIAN GRAY?! "The Portrait of Dorian Gray" was written by Oscar Wilde back in 1890 before a novel-length rerelease in 1891. The story is about a young man who sells his soul for a wish - where he will age, the portrait will in his place. As he continues to live a hedonistic and amoral life, the portrait continues to corrupt further and further.

Pop-culture has changed Dorian, in a way, to accommodate further adaptations. First of all is the repeated image (ha) of Dorian's invulnerability so long as the Portrait remains undamaged, any fatal injury goes to the portrait. The second of this is his immortality, he can continue to live for years on end while his Portrait would continue to age.

WHY DORIAN GRAY?! There are two main inspirations for this. The first inspiration was "The Confessions of Dorian Gray", a Big Finish series produced by Scott Handcock (he's the script editor for RTD2, I'm beyond excited.) It's a great take on the character, And it's really cheap! Seriously, just by the downloads and listen to it, it's half an hour of supernatural goodness.

The second inspiration was recent books published by BBC Children's Books. There's been a big theme in them of Doctor Who crossing over with famous literature - first they did Doctor Who meeting Wizard of Oz, reuniting with Robin Hood and arriving in Camelot. This year they'll be telling Who-versions of Treasure Island and Jason & the Argonauts. Essentially, I'm throwing my own hat into the ring to have these two meet.

It would also make for a unique pairing - often times Dorian, in a modern setting, is portrayed as encountering other supernatural entities through his life while the Doctor encounters aliens every day. It would be a fun dynamic to place a creature in front of them and have the pair bickering over whether the foe is monster or alien.

WHICH DOCTOR THEN?! I don't know yet honestly. There's a few that I think could work but, as I've been writing, I've been using a strange template that first appeared in the Target novelization of "Rose"...

"A tall, bald black woman wielding a flaming sword". That was it. That was essentially all that I was working with, which is good if you want a description for a character in a hurry but a bit more difficult for making a personality. I worked with this the best I could with the idea that this is a new incarnation, "The Rose Doctor", would meet Dorian as their first companion.

What about the Doctors we actually know? Well, I've narrowed it down to the three I'd be most interested in trying.

The Seventh Doctor. Considering that this man, the heart of the Cartmel Masterplan that led to "Lungbarrow", was often suggested to be more than just a Time-Lord, it seemed right to have him placed alongside a man who sold his soul. A man who's often many steps ahead with a plan behind each move, it'd be fun to see how he ultimately uses Dorian in order to get what he wants.

The Eleventh Doctor. In contrast to the Seventh Doctor, I considered this incarnation because I can only imagine them as complete polar opposites to Dorian Gray. Dorian is desperate to cling onto his youth while the Eleventh Doctor is, overwhelmingly, an old man at heart. There's also an easy introduction for the pair, as the Eleventh Doctor exiled himself during "The Snowmen" and could've encountered him.

The Thirteenth Doctor. At the time of writing, she's only just regenerated and we are moving onto the 14th and 15th incarnations next November/December. The Thirteenth doctor doesn't have many gaps in her timeline, so I think it'd be fun to explore what she'd be like with a different Tardis Team. Also, most importantly, I think she'd hate Dorian Gray and that presents an interesting dynamic if the two continue to meet.

What's most important about these two is the dynamic between them - what are they looking for in the other person? Simply, answers.

Dorian Gray is a literary character so how does he exist as a real person? Is he from the Land of Fiction or is he from the real world? The Doctor is a mysterious time traveler that clearly knows more than they let on, so who are they really? What secrets do they keep?

OKAY EPISODES NOW!! Most important thing to note is that the episodes have two numbers. The first number is order of reading for Dorian's life chronologically, while the number on the right is order of reading for the Doctor's. 00:02 - Introduction [1886, London] We start with the early days of Dorian Gray's hedonistic lifestyle, essentially verbatim the events that occurred in the original story. While Dorian is hosting a party, he eventually finds himself in discussion with someone that previously hadn't been invited. This woman is greatly interested in the portrait he recently had made of himself and tries to figure out the secrets behind it...

01:04 - The Death of the Author [1900, Paris] After saying goodbye to his old friend and author, Dorian is surprised to run into the woman from his party many years ago - the Doctor. When these two impossible people meet, a deal is made to continue to check on each other before they leave each other's side. Rumour has it, there's a werewolf loose on the streets of Paris and what are the chances they're both tracking down the Loup-Garoux?

02:06 - Sod of the Somme [1916, The Battle of the Somme] Dorian Gray is participating in the Great War, having gone with friends and lost many along the way. Now, he's trapped in the trenches after fighting off a monster that's killed his fellow men. They don't believe his story about a monster in the dirt, but one person does - a medical officer called Johanna Schmidt. If she can convince everyone to work together, maybe they can all get out alive.

03:03 - A Ballroom at the End of the Universe [1927, Edge of Space] On the edge of the universe, a party is being held. Dorian Gray finds himself invited and can't resist taking a trip into space. The Doctor likewise can't resist the invitation, but she has her own plans. Travel into alternate universes is forbidden after the Time War, but the Doctor needs to find out the origins of Dorian Gray so journeys to the Land of Fiction.

04:01 - The Kennedy Heist [1963, Maryland] On the 22nd of November, the President of the USA was assassinated. For the Doctor, they've gone through this day a few times, but there's always something that's bothered them about it. What happened to JFK's brain? Bigger questions arise when not only does she find Dorian Gray with the brain in a jar, but a man in a battered leather jacket claiming to be the Doctor...

What he hardly expects is for the world to really end, let alone to wake up at the start of a time loop.

07:08 - Nobody, Everywhere [2012, London] As Dorian builds a life in modern day again, the Doctor returns with a warning. Dorian's eternal life is in danger and he cannot trust anybody. The people that want him go back to his very beginning, they cannot be stopped or reasoned with and they'll stop at nothing to get their hands on him. After being in each other's life for so long, do they have what it takes to stop an enemy without a face?

08:00 - Cancer [2099, Seoul] The Doctor's regeneration gets revealed along with her placement in the timeline. Her regeneration leads her to crash into the streets of Seoul in 2099, where she meets Dorian for the first time and he meets her for the last. As the Doctor battles Regeneration Sickness, Dorian has to work on his own to stop a hacker called "Jocasta" from destroying the biggest business district in South Korea. Is she the biggest danger? Or is there something lurking beneath the surface?

09:09 - Epilogue Now that the Doctor has recovered, it's time for her to travel through time and space. Who's to say she has to do it alone?

IS THAT IT?! Pretty much, that's all my current thoughts on the idea plus a short description for each episode. There are definitely more ideas I could vent, but that would involve a serious amount of foresight about where I'm going to take this IF I take this anywhere.

Hello tumblr.

Hello tumblr. I am an interior designer looking to learn more about design and become a more well-rounded designer and person. I am hoping this space can serve as a design diary of sorts - a place I can ramble on about the miscellaneous design related topics that I find interesting.

I love my small collection of design books. I also love going to the library to borrow books. If I purchased all the books I wanted, I would not have much money left... Libraries are treasures. I don't often read the books from start to finish. I have a tendency to get distracted halfway through... However, I wish I could easily revisit sections that inspired me. I hope to make a collection of 'snapshots' of ideas, something I can easily come back to when needing inspiration.

One of the current books I borrowed is Sottsass by Philippe Thome, published through Phaidon. It covers the life of Ettore Sottsass who helped create the Memphis Design Group and design style. I find the style very interesting and am excited to learn more about it.

the reason i dont post a lot of stuff from here to the break time server is because, simply put, i am embarrassed and i dont want to embarrass myself in front of people i dont know very well (i am a coward)

i dont think people would like to see me call hephi a “treasure weird girl bundle of joy” or calling a vard a silly little bunny creature person villain or going nuts over sketchy’s latest sen commission. i can be like that with friends because They Just Get It but im afraid the people in the server wont and explaining what my feelings on the crew’s series are and how much of an impact it had on me in the past 6 months alone would be a near impossible task

if anyone from there discovers this blog i dont really care if you mention it but i personally dont go around showing my crazy ramblings to people there because thatd be like showing off my latest diary entries to strangers on the street. if you find these posts thats great, that means theres 1 more person who can listen to me sharing my thoughts on this wonderful world the sequence break crew has made together and the little characters and stories that inhabit it. but i wont go out of my way to mention it unless someone asks directly (ie “hey are you the mudaconstructions guy on tumblr dot com”)

also it adds an element of mystery to it and i think that is very entertaining

How can I have a more fruitful hobby?

I know I’ve said this before, but I wish I had some sort of constructive hobby. I have friends that do creative writing (fiction and poetry) and others are engineers so they enjoy making and designing actual product for their personal projects. I want to do more than consume (read books, watch films), but I don’t really make anything. I thought hm, perhaps I should start a blog to write about the books I’m reading or the films I’m watching, but then I would feel weird - I suppose I have a more “technocratic” attitude in that - why should anyone want to read any analysis I write about anything, lacking as I do any formal education or study in say literature or cinema? Wouldn’t that simply be presumptuous? I’m also trying to read more theology - but again, what do I personally have to contribute? But I don’t want to be like Mary in Pride and Prejudice who thinks she’s so smart for simply regurgitating and copying passages from the books she reads lol

I don’t really have anything else I’d want to write about - It’s been four years since I graduated from college and I need to brush up on a lot of my syllabi if I want to write anything about political science or legal studies (my majors). I was also a mediocre student and don’t have any particularly interesting or unique perspectives on current events.

I just graduated law school and took the bar, but again - mediocre student without any particularly interesting perspectives on law or current events. Idk how interesting it is simply to regurgitate stuff I learned during law school, lol - unless it would be interesting?

I wish I were more creative or had studied more liberal arts or had interesting life experiences (I mean I do have some interesting life experiences recently [I did a year of law school remotely in Asia [hell year]; I interned at a military base; ; I just sat the bar examination [hell two months] ; , but I also don’t know how vulnerable I want to get into that - I mean, how exposed do I want to be to strangers online? and is there value in sharing a lot of that, as opposed to treasuring my own experiences in my heart?)

Also idk if Tumblr is good for long-form blogging, or creative writing, or long-form diary-keeping

I suppose I’m looking for some sort of purpose

also i hv been exploring new things these days! i start watching anime (i never watch anime hehe) and currently i watched spyxfamily. the anime is so good🫶🏼 but i heard from my friends usually happy anime will ended up sad ending....... (a moment of silence here) and i also starting writing my personal thoughts into some journal, i am type of person who love to hide my true feelings and didnt talk much abt anything that bothering me, so i decided to write all of my thoughts in one book, i can say it's a yes from me cause i felt relieved?? when i shared my feelings on the paper, somehow i feel like ease the burden??

my month went okay-ish, i guess? 😕 i finished my exams, and they were very hard, so i guess i might have to repeat some? but that is not an issue bc our lecturers have told us that no one passes exams on the first try, esp in second year. but still it terrifies me bc my mum keeps pressuring me since she's stressed these days too 😔

but in good things !!! my best friend's brother's wedding on the 8th, and i was invited to it which was exciting bc i've never been to big functions like that without my family! 😅🥰 it was amazing, i kinda teared up seeing the ceremony, and then had my fill of good food and desserts and even danced a little! i was introduced to my best friend's churchmates and everyone was like 'oh yeah ik you bc you are always on xx's whatsapp statuses' 😳 and literally i just realised how much my best friend posts about me for no reason. everyone and their mums knew about me and it was so 😬 overwhelming, but also a relief at the same time, bc i'm not the most social person! 😅

then i also met my friend's ex (they broke up on mutual terms) and it was my first time seeing him irl and his eyes are so pretty but then he reminded me that he's seen practically every message i've sent my bestie (none of them were bad!! i'm just very crazy when it comes to texting) and i was so embarrassed but he was very kind about it 😔🙏

and i goofed around while we were waiting by singing thinking out loud by ed sheeran (bc that's what the live band was playing) and i didn't think was that loud bc the hall was pretty noisy but my friend's churchmates all complimented my voice and asked if i wanted to replace my friend in their church's choir! 😂 it was fun bc we all kept collectively teasing my best friend, and she didn't mind bc she said she was like i was making friends since i was always home and never went out and stuff

this was all in one day, but i feel like i made a month full of memories, honestly!! 💗💗💗

TREASURE's 1st concert TRACE

Just going to put down my thoughts because I have so many feelings about Treasure's first concert 🥲. I screen recorded the concert and rewatched it three times already 😭 (i also forgot to mute my desktop so me laughing, crying, clapping and saying 'cute' like a 100 times was also recorded lol)

They opened the show with JIKJIN, Boy and Going Crazy?? That's insane! I remember Jihoon saying that performing MMM after Boy during Teuday was too difficult and they'd never do that again but this seems worse??? such intense choreo for all 3 songs but honestly? still nailing it. They finally performed Going Crazy fully live! (i'm not counting Shoppee, i really think that was pre-recorded) And they wore such beautiful stage outfits for the opening! 💕 Hyunsuk, Mashiho, Junkyu and Yedam looked like actual princes. 🙈

Going Crazy EDM version??? Orange Dance version?? Darari rock version?? Who thought of this????--- Let me shake your hand cause it was brilliant🤝 (sadly they didn't perform Slowmotion, Everyday or Gonna Be Fine though 🥲)

Jinhwan and Donghyuk from IKON and Papa YG attended the concert! Imagine performing in front of the people that made you want to become an idol 🥲 (Yang Hyunsuk being there was such a surprise and I hope they made him proud 💎)

Hyunsuk: Doing the most as always 🔥He performed Good Boy with his whole chest + I swear he rapped like 3 solo songs with all the adlibbs he did throughout the concert 😂 I bet he was so tired but he kept giving 100% and he kept talking to make the concert go smoothly. Srsly Hyunsuks charisma on stage is unmatched! He is such a joy to watch and he obviously loves performing so much 💙 He truly deserves all the praise he gets!! Hyunsuk was born to be on stage and when they do a YG Family concert (which they will!! I can feel it!!) he will fit right in with the greatest in the industry 💎 YOU KNOW WHO I AM!!

Jihoon: Jihoon singing those high notes for B.L.T. and It's Okay! I was so impressed! King behaviour 👑 Idk how he keeps getting better and better but he just does. He doesn't have a very unique voice like Junkyu or Mashi but he can belt high notes with the best of them. 🔥 + like, you really need some balls to cover Taeyang's part in Good Boy lol and he nailed it. I'm forever proud of Jihoon and I can't wait for how he'll impress us next time.

Yoshi: I remember Yoshi being so shy for Teuday but he was so full of confidence for TRACE 😭 When Teume clapped and were surprised by Yoshi's visual and he didn't know what was going on 🥰 deserved to go viral for that moment srsly. His rapping skills are sky high and I don't understand why he got overlooked before?? People finally seem to recognise his skill and give him the attention he deserves after JIKJIN came out. Like i obviously love all 3 guys but there is just something about his flow, his charisma etc Prince Yoshi!! 👑 Dark Horse Yoshi!! 🔥

Junkyu: ... I'm going to be honest, Junkyu completely blew me away. It's been so long since we heard him (confidently) sing live, I honestly thought he had developed a fear for singing live, that the pressure might have gotten to him or smth... But he did sooooo well and when they covered 'Really Really' I was just staring at the screen like 👀!! (also completely redeeming themselves for the kind-of-bad cover they did during debut days on KBS Cool FM/ they were nervous and unprepared I know). Also Junkyu looked gorgeous in the prince outfit!! 🥰 And he was absolutely adorable on stage! God, Kim Junkyu you are soooo effortlessly cute 🙈 I really couldn't stop looking at Junkyu throughout the entire concert because he looked so happy and confident and I love that for him!!

Mashiho: I've said it before and I'll say it again; Mashi was born to be on stage 🙌 Out of everyone, Mashiho stood out the most and reminded me why he was called 'Nations Center' during YGTB. He was the MVP for their 'Love Scenario' cover! Mashiho is truly Treasure's underrated ace. He can do it all! Sing, rap, dance, amazing stage presence etc. I need to see him as center more often 🙏The way he steals the show everytime they show him on screen. Also his hair! 😍The pink suits him so well!

Jaehyuk: I will never get tired of praising Jaehyuk ✨He's so humble and hardworking and always does his absolute best and what more can I ask for? He made a few mistakes on Teuday and as he himself said, he made a few mistakes on saturday aswell but that doesn't matter because sunday was perfect. 💕 Not a day goes by that I don't think about Jaehyuk and how lucky we are that Treasure has such a sweet guy as one of their members. He said that his nickname is 'Hardworking Genius Jaehyuk' and it fits him 100%. He acted like a natural on stage! All your hard work paid of Jaehyuk 💙 I'm so proud of him.

Asahi: Finally we heard him sing!!!! They turned his mic UP ⬆️. Sahi has such a beautiful voice but we barely hear it most times. What shocked me the most is that Asahi apparently only auditioned in 2018??? He was the last to join YG out of all the members apparently?? is that even possible? That means he was only at YG for a few months before participating in YGTB?? Also Asahi thanking his 'Mama + Papa' for their support 😭 Yes I did start crying. I know Kim Junkyu exists but Sahi was truly the cutest man alive at that moment (his shy smile!!!). He is also so handsome 💕 He's truly one of the most handsome people I've ever seen goddamn

Yedam: Yedam casually destroying his voice to give us Darari rock version 🤘I do feel like he's straining his voice too much?? or maybe it wasn't in perfect condition because they haven't had a break since January 🥲 When Yedam was performing Wayo and he let his head fall in his hands I started crying istg + He sang an unreleased english solo that he worked on for weeks in his studio before the concert 👑 But the lyrics though. Being unable to schoulder the pressure and needing people around you to help make things better. If this is autobioghraphic i hope Yedam finds support with his members, family and friends 💎 It must be incredibly difficult managing everyones expectations of you, maintaining that high standard for years and for more years to come. + Yedam crying at the end 😭 He couldn't really explain himself well but I think what he meant to say was that; Working so hard for so long, you start to forget what you're working towards. And finally remembering his goal at the concert. 🥲I've since then watched quite a few fancams of Yedam having an absolute blast (especially during the encore) and it made me so happy! Fighting Yedamie

Doyoung: Give Doyoung a center dance break and bigger parts in their songs!! 😭 I felt like i barely saw him during the concert :( but when they did show him on camera, he danced his heart out 💙 His facial expressions never fail and I'm happy he got such a big part for Love Scenario. We just all need more Doyoung in our lives ☀️ Have you seen the sun today? ☀️ :p

Haruto: Blond Ruto with a ponytail!!! Him going viral for both his looks and his raping skills 🥰 He was absolutely amazing during Bang Bang Bang and Really Really 🔥I can't wait to see him grow even more in his skills and stage presence! It's already sky high, how much further can he go???? Saw and heard it again that we will be totally ruined if Hajeongwoo ever becomes an actual unit lol though i highly anticipate HyunHaYo aswell :p

Jeongwoo: B.L.T. is such a difficult song to sing when you're the one doing all the high notes, but Jeongwoo killed that song!!! Especially because they performed that after 'Come to me' and 'U' 💀 I'm so proud of him. I have no idea how he kept being able to sing so well and hold his notes when he sings like half of this song srsly + his high note for Darari was perfection + him covering Yoon's parts in Really Really lives rent free in my mind. Super impressed with Jeongwoo 👑He succeeded my already very high expectations of him!

Junghwan: Hwanie did so well 🥰 No matter how old he gets or how mature he looks or how much time he spends at that YG gym, he will forever be Treasures precious maknae with a smile as bright as the sun! ☀️ I'm getting emotional just thinking about it haha Junghwan is always up for a challenge and him doing those high notes in Love Scenario was so good! Eventhough he has a deeper voice, he still pulled it of really well and it just reminded me of how far he's come 💕Watching his fancams, he had so much fun on stage

So, in conclusion, They all worked incredibly hard for this and I couldn't be more proud of them 🥲 Treasure had a packed schedule since January and so I can't imagine how difficult this must have been for them. Haruto said that they only slept a few hours a night so they could practice for the concert. Hyunsuk saying that literally all members cried when the concert was over and they went backstage 😭 The effort they put into this to make this memorable for Teume, I'll forever be grateful 🙏Treasure brings me so much joy. I feel so lucky getting to experience their journey with them and watching them grow to become even more amazing and dependable. Thank you Treasure

#tag rant #and it's an overshare this time this is really a Dear Diary Moment #it's 7pm right now and i am about to go to sleep i am literally about to go to bed on this here december saturday because like #i say this with no bitterness—i really don't hate my job i actually love hanging out with teenagers all day they are amazing and perfect #but what i do most definitely hate is what my job does to me #like. in direct contrast to what my younger self believed i am a vibrant person. i have talents i am creative i have created beautiful #things in the past that i am proud of and even if i hadn't i'd still be awesome and that belief has taken So Much Work to come to #and so much support and so much time and i treasure the fact that i can think that and believe it now so much—and #i love the people in my life deeply and i used to really pride myself on my ability to be there for them and celebrate/support them #but my job drains everything out of me— and being as exhausted as i am all the time?#among other things—many of which i am working on with my therapist lmao bless her—#that constant bone deep tiredness really gets in the way of me being that good caring creative profound generous and interesting person #that i know is somewhere in here .#it makes it such that so so so often i have so little to give. to myself and to the many ppl and students and friends i am lucky to love #and when the place where i spend 8+ hours each day reduces me to a state where.#i get home and all i can really do is lie in bed and close my eyes #and be thankful that there's no sound to register around me or tasks that need my attention immediately or emotions to manage—#that's not. that's not it #just facing a little crisis trying to figure out how to do my job (which i do love) and retain my sanity :')#on a somewhat unrelated note i trawled through my old tumblr that i had in high school today in search of blue and pink pics bc i'm on #a little fine line kick here and just— wow. i was so sad. sometimes it just kind of hits you— when you encounter a little relic from #a different time in your life when you were very different— i've grown such an unbelievable amount and in ways that my littler self #actively tried to prevent herself from growing and that growth has been so life changing and good for me and i just.#the strange mix of tenderness and shame and regret and love i feel when i think about younger me—#it's really something it's really evocative i just want to let her rest and heal and i guess that's what i'm doing now #going to bed at 7pm on a saturday and trying to be less exhausted and do better by myself #anyway thank u and good night to u all good night to me and good night to all the little versions of me who live in here with me <3 #sweet dreams to us all
