I... don't think I've ever participated in a ship week before? Or even made serious ship art? But I'm very fond of JE and I really wanted to. Other things I am fond of: TMA vampires! So I made Jon one. If you're wondering how that works... I'd say don't worry about it but I actually have several ideas.

Jon was always a vampire, he's just a weird, more sentient mutant. Elias wants to study him.

All TMA vampires are sentient, they're just also too hungry to care about things like morals or leading a regular life outside of feeding. Jon is different, Elias wants to study him.

Jon is currently in the process of being turned (just because it hasn't been observed in-universe doesn't mean it couldn't have happened). Elias wants to study him (but if he's not careful his fun new science project WILL eat him).

Art under the cut (along with the refs I use for them).

Also kept in a sketch of vampire Jon that I was proud of. I don't usually work with that angle (or with any kind of poses, which is. hmmmm.) so I'm really happy with what I managed there actually.

Too tired/busy (college move-in day is tomorrow and my cat had to get vaccines in today) so I didn't go for much of a background beyond "vaguely implied wood floors."

Also yes it is very important that Elias hold Jon's weird freaky vampire tongue like that. For science. And no other reasons.

Here are their refs! Elias has one hand on Jon's back/shoulder and the other behind his back because I didn't want to draw hands. They're anthro because I don't want to draw humans (furry). Jon is a tortoiseshell cat, Elias is a common genet (because when I thought of Elias designs my mind immediately went to my tiny toy Civet for reasons that are beyond my understanding). Also gave Jon a file folder because I thought he should have one.

It’s a nice calm night with a lot of elderly attic slow dancing and then I have.. an “””amazing””” idea. So because the lag was unreal with the new pets and I’m starting to feel unironically bad for Sandy, I decided now that she has found love it would be fun to get her and Aiden married and move them into the creepy Tricou house! Sounds good on paper, right? Right??

So I move them into the Tricou house and then I’m like man you know what would be even more fun?? Resurrecting the Tricous and making them vamps and then all the supernaturals can live in the big creepy house together! So I was googling how to resurrect them because I hadn’t done it in ages, and then I realize Don is literally a faux Tricou as one of Jon Smith’s lovechildren! So I’m like great, this is gonna be super easy!

So Sandy and Aiden are in the Tricou house, I move the graves that were in the cemetery to the house, I invite Don over and make him temporarily selectable, and he resurrects Jon! Then I send Don on his way back to our house and the rest of the Tricous resurrect each other and become vamps and I’m like great, we’re done here! So I return to our house where it’s time for Felina’s birthday-

Lost Boys - Stranger Things Musings

Saw someone (my apologies, I cannot remember who) post about a Lost Boys AU with Stranger Things characters, and that got me thinking. How about a Lost Boys/Stranger Things crossover?!

The Lost Boys came out in 87, so let's just go with that's the year it's set. So a year and a bit after the debacle of Hawkins Spring 86, everyone from s4 is alive (yes including Eddie) and recovered, Vecna is no more, and Steve cooks ups the wild idea of getting the hell out of dodge for a summer vacation, all the kids, him, Eddie, Robin, Argyle, Jonathan and Nancy.

They're end destination is a couple of days in Disneyland in California, but they have decided to drive having rented 2 RVs to see lots of fun places on the way. Unfortunately, they get stuck in Santa Carla when one of the RVs breaks down.

Cue Eddie and Steve bumping into some decidedly weird dudes (David and the gang) on the boardwalk where everyone has gone to blow off some steam as they wait for the RV to be repaired. Maybe having been brought back from the dead after the Upside Down, Eddie pings on their radar, so they are interested.

Something, something, Steve ends up half vamped like Michael. Sue me, if I can torture Steve, I will 😝.

All the Hawkins lot are like, "Vampires - seriously?!" And join forces with the Santa Carla crowd. Sam is gonna love Max and Lucas, and Dustin and Mike would so go toe to toe with the Frog Brothers over vampire lore, not to mention the brains Erica will bring to the table! Jon and Argyle will probably miss most of it, having started talking weed with the Frog's parents. Nancy will be all over figuring out who the head vampire is. And Eddie and Robin will be worrying about Steve, who is trying very hard not to bite people and commiserating about doomed love with Michael (the fact he got Eddie back being a ray of hope in the shit storm).

And oh, boy, is the head vampire in for a shock when he comes up against El and a bunch of teens who are so done with this life or death shit.

I mean, there's also the option of Grandpa being so weird because he was into shady government stuff in his earlier life and doesn't even bat an eye at a girl who can move stuff with her mind.

I will probably never write this, but it is now stuck in my brain, so I thought I would share my pain.

inspired by the laugh ask, tell me about everyone’s smiles? do they show their teeth/ do they have dimples etc. would love to have a visual whenever one of them smiles in a fic :) 🍄

Aw man I love this ask, is so cute!

Vince rarely smiles with teeth, normally closed mouth and he's got a very distinct wrinkle that appears on his cheek. What they call a lopsided smile. When he does smile with teeth, Vin has a bit of vamp fangs, just a smidge.

Lucas and Jonah both have a million buck smiles. Perfect blinding white teeth and just the right amount of gum showing. Jonah rarely smiles showing teeth, which is funny because him and Wendy are the only ones of the gang who pay for whitening. Luke's perfect smile is bc he wore invisible braces until he was 13, he used to have a little bit of a gap and Veronica got it fixed.

Wendy and Leo both have dimples!

Leo's bottom teeth are a bit crooked (think Cavill's or K4ty P3rry's bottom teeth smile) and it bothers him, so he's the king of smiling like this 🙂, which Jon haaates bc Leo's smile is so damn cute, it's also very large.

Wendy's front teeth come down a litte, a bit bunny like.

Unlike the others who are more insecure about imperfections, Wendy really likes her smile and refused to get her teeth "fixed" when her parents insisted. She smiles with teeth a lot.

Max already has thin lips, so his upper one all but disappears at even a hint of a smile.

Bella has really round teeth, which make her smiles sooo cute and friendly. So of course, with strangers, she's rarely smiling. Gotta keep her bad bitch façade.
