Bighit Music confirma que BTS cumplirá el Servicio Militar Obligatorio

BIGHIT MUSIC se enorgullece en anunciar hoy que los miembros de BTS actualmente están avanzando con planes para cumplir con su servicio militar. Después del fenomenal concierto para apoyar la candidatura de Busan para la Expo Mundial 2030, y a medida que cada individuo se embarca en proyectos en solitario, es el momento perfecto y los miembros de BTS se sienten honrados de servir.

Desde la creación de BTS hace más de diez años, la banda ha alcanzado el éxito internacional, batido récords y catapultado al K-Pop a la estratosfera mundial. BIGHIT MUSIC se ha enfocado en el momento histórico en que sería posible respetar las necesidades del país y que estos jóvenes sanos sirvieran con sus compatriotas, y eso es ahora. El miembro del grupo, Jin, iniciará el proceso tan pronto como concluya su agenda para su lanzamiento en solitario a fines de octubre. Luego seguirá el procedimiento de alistamiento del gobierno coreano. bts enlistment...

This post grew from feeling compelled to comment, and offer support to one of my peeps, here. I was typing away under the post, and it turned into a thing, as I let the words flow.

So... like @irishhorse-blog , this is my opinion, and mine to bear. It’s not up for any debate. This is not coming from any place of judgement at all.

When people are forced to enlist in a military, it is life-altering in ways that cannot be predicted, on every level. Everything changes. Freedom is taken away, and a person is forced to comply with a way of living, behaving, thinking, and Being that is completely different from life outside of that military. Pick any country in the world, and it is the same in their military.

When a person is forced to enlist, their basic Human Right to make choices for themself is taken away. A way of life is imposed, that requires that person to alter their most innate Self and to become what they are taught they must become. (I’ll stop here, with this particular part of this post, as it is a VERY deep subject that isn’t pleasant.) My bestie is a Veteran of two recent wars. She would agree with my words above, as well as with the post that I’ve referenced from @irishhorse-blog. She went in by choice, and that is a whole different type of experience. She was a bad-ass paratrooper, and jumped out of more airplanes than one can imagine. She’s seen first hand what war is, and what it does to Human Beings. It left her with a host of physical challenges, ptsd, and other things that we can never understand as civilians, yet she doesn’t regret the choice.

I have friends in Israel, where both men and women have to serve in their military for two years. It is just a part of their lives in their country, just as it is in Korea. Yet, it is very different when the people don’t have a choice to serve.

Two years is a long time. Even at the shortest duration of 18 months, it is a long time to put one’s “regular” life on hold.... To be separated from family, friends, lovers... And, it being forced, and not by choice.

There’s an energy that comes with enlistment that is one of enforcing compliance upon a human being. It’s like a huge thumb pressing down upon a person’s Crown chakra (if you get the visual). That’s what I am seeing in Hobi and Jin’s energy fields now. You can see it on their faces. It is subtle, yet there all the same.

The other thing that just literally dropped into my mind as I type is this very profound thought: These young men are going to enlist in the military where they will be taught to strictly follow orders, AND where they will be taught how to use firearms, and how to kill another human being. Yeah. Let that sink in...

Humans aren’t born with the ability or desire to kill one another. It is learned behaviour for most, and in more rare situations it is learned (taken on) for pure survival. It goes against the very Nature of a Human Being to have to take the life of another, on purpose. That in itself creates deep trauma, within the person who pulls the trigger...

Humans have been at war for thousands of years. At this point on Earth’s Timeline, it has become a business, with a whole industry built around it. There are people who have made more money than all of us put together, in one war. It is the real reason why countries never really quite stop, and never quite establish peace. It’s big business, unfortunately.

There are so many levels and aspects to this subject. I dare not attempt to go much further with this as I’m not a wordsmith, and it would become a very very long post. I’ll begin to bring this to a close.

Again, as I’ve been writing this and thinking about these things, it has become much clearer that Seokjin, Hoseok, Yoongi, Namjoon, Taehyung, Jimin and Jungkook will be changed at the core level, during their enlistment. The version of them that we are familiar with and love will cease to be. The men who return on the other side may seem to be the same, outwardly..... yet the truth is that they will be navigating from a new place, within their psyches, and in their understanding of the world. I pray that their Souls remain intact. The most we can hope for is that they choose to rejoin and begin to make music together again. They will probably need the healing that music can bring to them, as they re-adjust to life after the military.

As ARMY, the best things that we can do for them is to hold Space for them, and to send them Love throughout their enlistment. It will be hard to wait for them, yet it is the Promise that we have made. We will be there for them, on the other side. With open Hearts and open arms. 💜

You can hear the door open and close gently and his soft footsteps behind you. You have your head in your hands, forcing the hot tears behind your puffy eyes to stay put and the hitch in your throat to go back down. You feel his weight sink the bed slightly more as he sits down next to you.

"Y/N..." Jin starts.

"I know." You lift your head and look at the light in your ceiling, hoping it will dry your eyes before Jin notices. You take a deep breath. There is a short silence.

"Y/N, listen..." Jin puts his hand around you and on your shoulder. "I want you to know that I want to do this. I need to do this."

You find it in you to smile and turn to him. "I know, Jin. I'm so proud of you." That feeling catches in your throat again and you have to immediately avert your gaze. "I-i'm so... happy..." A tear escapes despite your efforts to hold them back.

Jin smiles sadly and takes his right hand to lift your face back to him. "Hey now, I'll be back. It's not like I'm dying or anything."

You let out a light laugh. "I know Jin. I'm sorry, its just..." You choke on your words. "I-I'm not ready for you to go." The tears are streaming.

"Sure you are." Jin cups the side of your face. "I've trained you for this moment." He jokingly uses a deeper voice, imitating the cliche movie voice of a master who has trained their apprentice. You let out a laugh and sniffle.

"Haha, yeah..." You bring a hand to your face to wipe your eyes. Jin shifts in the silence next to you.

"Y/N, can you do something for me?" His voice wavers slightly, different from the lighthearted tone before. You turn to meet his gaze.

"Of course. What is it?"

"Promise me that you'll be here. When I come back, I mean." He smiles, but the twitch in his lip betrays his worry. "Promise me that you will stay healthy and take care of yourself while I can't. Please? For me?" Jin holds your face with both of his hands. His eyes glisten as he looks into yours, reflecting his genuine intent. You sniff and nod your head.

"I'll be here. I promise." You lunge forward and wrap your arms around his neck. "I'll wait forever." You feel Jin's body shake for a moment before he gives out and hugs you back, arms squeezing your torso.

"I'm going to miss you so much." Jin's voice breaks, making your heart sink. After a moment of mutual sobbing, you both break away from the hug and stand up, facing each other.

"Y/N, I mean it. I won't be here to make sure you take care of yourself." His face is serious, even as his eyes are red and puffy.

"You won't have to worry, I promise." You hold onto his hands, reassuring yourself just as much as you reassure Jin. He smiles.

"Right." He sighs.

"You have to promise me something now." You look up at him. "You have to promise me you will take care of yourself too. Drink water, get good rest, don't get sick, and come home safely." You feel the tears again. "Come home safely to me, Jin, okay?" You hug him one more time. He holds you close and sighs into your shoulder shakily.

"I will. I promise." You break away a second time and Jin clears his throat. "Hey now, it will go by in no time. I'll be back before you can even miss me." He smiles at you, trying to fix the sad atmosphere.

"But I miss you already!" You laugh.

"Ah, my calculations must be off." You both laugh. It's bittersweet, since you know what comes next.

"Jin, I love you. Forever." You stand looking at him, tears streaming down your cheeks.

Jin smiles sadly and wipes a tear off your face. "I love you longer." You watch as he walks towards the door. "You'll be okay, I know you will."

"Jin, wait-" You call out with an outstretched hand. Jin pauses and turns back. You stall for a moment.

"Y/N?" He questions.

"Just... you forgot this." You kiss your fingers and blow the kiss towards him. He smiles and catches it, putting it to his own lips.

"You stole my signature move!" He hesitates, the smile falling from his face. Then he pulls himself together, smiling again. "Now, it's curtain call time." He bows exaggeratedly elegantly before finally turning and closing the door behind him. You watch out the window as Jin, the man who taught you to love yourself, walks away.

"Goodbye, Kim Seokjin."

Jin checks his watch. 5:34 A.M, June 15th, 2024. Anxiety sits in his stomach as he exits the car. He stands and stares at the apartment building for a moment.

What if they don't recognize me? What if they don't love me anymore? What if they moved on?

He shakes the thoughts from his head and forces himself to walk inside the lobby.

The elevator ride up to the flat is agonizingly long. He glances at his watch again. 5:38. Y/N should be getting up for work around this time. He felt the anxiety in his stomach again.

Will They really be there waiting for me? What if something happened?

He quickens his pace after the elevator lands on the correct floor as he makes his way down the aisle. He stops at a door with the familiar number marking it's door. He gathers up all his courage and knocks three times.

Nothing.

He panicks for a moment, then regains his composure.

Calm down Jin, it's early. They might just be sleeping in.

He knocks again, this time a bit louder.

"Y/N, you home?" He anxiously calls out.

"Jin?" A familiar voice from behind him makes his heart flutter. He turns around to see you drop your groceries and fly into his arms.

"Y/N... I thought you forgot about me..." Jin sobs into your shoulder, not holding back his tears.

"Remember what I told you?" You hold onto his face with both of your hands. "I'll wait forever."

Jin grins. He is home.

Honestly my heart is heavy and I feel so lost and incomplete. I knew this day would come but all the remaining 4 members at once was a shock.

I absolutely cried while reading JK’s letter to ARMY. Since day one Jungkook has been my source of happiness and comfort. I honestly don’t know what I will do in his absence and I can only imagine what he must’ve felt while writing that letter.

Yes I’m in pain and I’m broken inside and now more than ever I’m missing JK as for me he was and still is they ray of light that shone in my heart and my life. He gave me that happiness and joy during my darkest days. A year and a half seems far away to think about but it will be worth the wait for sure. This chapter is now over but it’s time for a new era a new beginning. I know BTS will come back stronger and better than ever.

To Jungkook, words will never be enough to describe what I’m feeling right now but I want to say thank you. Thank for everything you’ve done and more. You’ve been our inspiration, best friend, home, soulmate. I’m right here standing next to you and I will be here waiting for you in 2025.

Although I’m sad right now i know us ARMYs will get through this together and we will be happy and better for BTS. I will live life happily and I will miss BTS very much, my one wish for them now is be safe and healthy. WE ARE RIGHT HERE WAITING 2025 💜💜💜
