Hi!! I love the way you write. I would love if you can write about Lena and Kara balancing their jobs and being a mother. Thank you! I hope you have a great day ♥️
hey anon! I dunno if you’re the same person who sent me a very similar prompt decades ago, but if you are my apologies for the wait, and if you’re not, great minds think alike. hope you like it.
“Have you seen my heels?”
Kara didn’t look up as she answered. “Um, I think the girls kicked it under the couch when chasing—hey, stop it Liz, you’re supposed to swallow your food, not throw it at your sister.”
“She started it,” Liz protested, pointing towards Ally and narrowing her eyes. Ally, two years older and at the stage where she believed herself to be far superior to her younger sister, mimicked her Aunt Alex’s huff of disbelief and shook her head.
“You heard Mom, Liz,” she said, sounding more like Lena than she did an eight-year-old. “Don’t throw your food. We eat food. Like this.” She mimicked eating, and Liz’s eyes went wide.
Kara winced, bracing herself for what she knew was coming.
“I know how to eat, Ally! Mom, tell her I know how to eat! Mom!”
“Okay,” Kara said, holding up a hand. “That’s enough. Ally, don’t antagonize your sister. And Liz, stop throwing things.”
“Yeah, Ally. Don’t antgize me,” Liz said with her chin raised high. Ally opened her mouth, clearly about to respond and extend this argument well into the ride to work with her, when Lena walked over, her shirt still not fully buttoned, wearing only one shoe, the other dangling from her hand.
“Kara, I pushed my meeting to next week, so you can take care of your assignment tonight. But we’re going to have to cancel lunch if I want to take off early to pick up the girls.”
Kara grinned, fixing Lena’s shirt and then allowing her to use her for balance as she leaned over to put her other shoe on. “Thank you. I know the assignment was super last minute,” she said, leaning over to press a quick kiss to Lena’s lips. Ally and Liz, united by their mutual dislike of their parents’ PDA, got over their food feud and made retching noises together before dissolving into giggles. “I’ll swing by, drop off some food. I know you’ll skip lunch otherwise.”
“Yeah, yeah,” Lena mumbled, waving a hand and turning to the girls. “You two, behave for your mom, okay? I’ll see you at 4:30.” She kissed Liz and Ally on the foreheads, gave Kara one last fond look, then grabbed her bag and left.
Kara sighed, reveling in the silence that followed her wife’s departure, and then: “Why do you have to work at all, Mom? You’re Supergirl.”
“Don’t be dumb, Ally,” Liz responded, rolling her eyes. “Mom isn’t Supergirl, she’s a reporter.” She stressed the word like it was something bad, and Kara just took in a deep breath before gathering the dishes from their breakfast and taking it to the sink.
“Liz, why don’t you go get dressed? And pick one thing to bring with you.”
“Aww, just one?” Liz complained, but she did as she was told, sliding off her chair and skipping down the hallway towards her bedroom. Kara waited till she was sure Liz was safely out of hearing range, and she turned to Ally.
“We had a deal, Als,” she said, raising an eyebrow, hands on her hips. “It’s a secret until Liz is a little older.”
Ally—dark haired and blue eyed, looking a little bit more like her father as the years dragged on, but acting more and more like her aunt every single day, and smarter than either of them were at that age—frowned. “You promised you’d teach me more about Krypton.”
“And I will.” When Ally just gave her a disbelieving look, Kara stepped closer to her, dropping to her eye-level. “Look, I have some time off in a few weeks. What if I took you to the Fortress of Solitude?”
“Just you and me?”
(More and more, Ally seemed to gravitate towards her more than towards Lena. Lena liked to joke that it was Ally’s Luthor genes shining through, wanting to be close to a Kryptonian just like her father and aunt.
But for Kara...it felt nice even if she was anxious about it. Because what it was, more than anything, was evidence that Ally—for better or for worse—had chosen to see Kara as one of her mothers, that she accepted Kara the way she was, that she wanted to be involved with aspects of Kara’s life that she hid away for so long.
And yet, Kara wasn’t sure what brought it on, and Ally—much like Lena—was often silent on her feelings.)
“Just you and me,” Kara confirmed. “But we’ll have to ask Mommy for the okay, okay?”
“Aww, that’s what you said about the zoo, too! And Mommy said no.” Ally’s eyes narrowed. “You and Mommy play good cop and bad cop, that’s what Aunt Maggie says.”
“Don’t listen to your Aunt Maggie,” Kara said with a grin, straightening as Liz came running back towards them.
“I’m ready, I’m ready, I’m ready!” she sang, dragging a massive duffel bag behind her. “It’s one thing,” she defended when Kara gave her a look. “You didn't say the one thing couldn’t be filled with other things.”
“Ally, help your sister choose one toy, I need to get dressed.”
(And after much protest, an accident involving glitter, and a brief panic when Ally thought she forgot her books at home, they finally found their way to Kara’s office, only a tiny bit late.
Though if you asked Kara, she wouldn’t really have it any other way.)
x
“Liz, please stop running, you know I can’t chase after you in heels,” Lena called out, watching carefully as Liz raced towards the swing set at the park. Ally, who was walking to Lena’s right, let out a soft snort and finally looked up from the book she’d been engrossed in since Lena picked the girls up from Kara’s office.
“Mom said we should tie a bell to her, so that she can always hear where Liz runs off to,” Ally informed her, marking where she left off in her book and snapping it shut as she followed Lena to one of the benches, sitting down dutifully next to her. “I think it’s a good idea.”
Lena reached out, smoothing back Ally’s hair and smiling when this prompted Ally to lean into her. “I do, too. Though we may not need a bell,” she said, looking over at where Liz was now singing at the top of her lungs, ignoring the looks from the other children. “Did you have a good day with your sister and your mom’s office?”
“Yeah. We got ice cream. I’m not supposed to tell you, but for half an hour, Mom had leave us for a Supergirl emergency. Uncle James watched us.”
“Really?” Lena said, trying not to laugh. “Your mom isn’t very sneaky. I saw her on the news.” Oddly, this made Ally pull away, gnawing at her lip, her fingers running up and down the spine of her book. “What’s wrong, Alexandra?” Lena asked softly, knowing that the use of her full name would let Ally know she was being serious. For a moment, though, it didn’t seem as if Ally was going to respond. “Is this about you wanting to learn more about Krypton?”
“No. Mom wants to take me to the Fortress. She said we’d need your permission.”
Lena didn’t take the bait, didn’t let Ally change the subject. “Come on, Ally. What’s the matter?”
“Last week, when Mom got hurt, were you..did you...I don’t like Supergirl,” she finished, expression hardening.
(And, oh, Lena thought they’d have more time. More time with Ally as a kid, a kid who saw her superhero mom and thought it was cool, a kid who didn’t realize how much danger her mom was in every time she put on the suit.
But Ally was the smartest kid Lena had ever met, even after accounting for her bias regarding her daughter. So of course Ally would catch on, of course Ally would worry, of course Ally would want to spend more time with Kara.)
“I get scared too, you know. Every time I see your mom on the television, every time she gets hurt. That’s normal, worrying for the people you love.” When Ally turns to look at her, Lena tucks a stray strand of hair behind Ally’s ear. “Loving someone doesn’t mean we can control what they do, though. Do you understand what I mean?”
“Yeah,” Ally sighs. “Mom has to ask you for permission to go to the Fortress with me, but she doesn’t have to ask you to fight a bad man.”
Lena chuckles, figuring Ally’s basically gotten the point. “You make her very happy, you know. When you ask about Krypton, want to know more. She wants to share it with you. And Liz, when she’s older. And you should talk to her, about Supergirl. Maybe if you hear from her why it’s so important to her, you’ll see Supergirl differently. Like I do.”
Ally didn’t respond, but Lena didn’t really need her to. Instead, she got up and held out her hand, waiting for Ally to take it before she called out to Liz, who came running with a big grin.
And together, hand in hand, they began walking home.
x
When Kara made it home that night, it was completely silent.
She chucked off her shoes and deposited her bag next to the couch before slowly walking towards their bedroom, pausing as she walked by the room Ally and Liz shared.
The two of them were curled up on the bottom bunk of their bed, Liz gripping onto one of Ally’s hands, the other one near her mouth, as if she’d fallen asleep sucking on her thumb. Ally was sleeping protectively next to Liz, as if she’d fallen asleep talking to her sister.
Kara blinked as she realized: Ally must’ve fallen asleep telling Liz a story.
(That was Kara’s job. Every night, reading a story. Sometimes in English, but often—especially when the girls were younger—it was in Kryptonian.)
She walked over, pulled their covers over them, pressed barely there kisses to their foreheads, and then turned to head out. But then: “Love you, Mom. Good night.”
And when Kara made it back to her bedroom—when she slid into bed next to Lena, smiling when Lena immediately grabbed her arm and pulled it around her waist, making sure they were snugly pressed together—she couldn’t help but smile and press a kiss to the back of Lena’s neck.
Tomorrow, Liz would be starting a new daycare and Ally would be going back to school, and there were meetings and late hours Lena needed to worry about and Supergirl duties and deadlines Kara worried about.
But here now, her daughters were sleeping in the other room, her wife was warm in her arms, and everything was just perfect.
(And Kara really, really wouldn’t have it any other way.)

……………………………………………………………………
Jo was dancing with her daughter when she saw him. In the middle of the wonderful fairy tale wedding that Maggie had, Jo tried to keep a smile on her face as she spoke to the happy couple with Luna in her arms. Yet, she couldn't help but remember her own wedding. The way that Zola threw flowers at her wedding or the way the light sparkled off the water of the sound at her wedding, or when Alex said his vows to hers at her wedding. Then she saw him.
Alex was sitting next to Meredith, and he looked good in his dark suit with his blue checkered tie. If she didn't know better, she would have thought that it was the same one he had worn at their wedding, but that one was buried in a box in the back of her closet along with her wedding dress.
He caught her staring because, of course, he did. He had always been able to feel her eyes on him. She looked over at him and froze. He just stared at her with his lips parted as he just stared at her. He didn't look happy or sad to see her, he just stared at her.
Jo took in a quick breath as she turned away and focused on Luna. Her perfect little girl who looked so beautiful in her dress. It was their first real event together, and the first time Jo put Lina in a fancy dress, and from the second she did, she was determined to savor the moment because of how adorable Luna was.
She avoided Alex for the rest of the ceremony and the reception. However, she was watching Scout anyway, so Link could propose. Although she had already warned him that it would be disastrous, she thought that maybe Amelia would say yes, and she hoped she did.
Yet, Jo couldn’t stop staring at him. She looked up to where Alex was standing across the tent at the bar, his head was a downcast, and his hands were in his pocket as he glanced up at her. Meredith came over and blocked her view of him as she sat next to her. She talked to Scout and cooed at Luna, talking about how cute she looked in her dress as they made small talk for a moment.
Jo glanced back at Alex and Meredith caught her staring. “I could take Luna and Scout for a little while if you want to talk to him?”
Jo knew that she shouldn't, she just got Luna home, and she felt like any new mom in that she was reluctant to let go of her baby. She’d so little time with Luna so far, but somehow she found herself kissing Luna’s head and passing her over to Meredith, letting her sticky fingers slip out of Jo's hand. Scout waved to her as she got up, and she smiled as she waved goodbye to them too.
She took a deep breath as she walked over to him and their eyes locked. As she crossed the party, the crowd parted for her as if by divine intervention until she was standing in front of him. For the first time in over a year, he was close enough to touch. He looked so much the same and yet so different. He had more gray hairs, and his wrinkles were deeper, but he had those same brown eyes that she loved, and he was her Alex, hers, but not anymore.
She had a million things to say to him, questions she wanted answered, anger she needed to express, heartbreak and tears, but somehow she let him speak first.
“Let's get out of here?” Alex said as he held out his hand for her to take.
She acknowledged him with a single nod as she took his hand and let him whisk her away. Jo thought that heaven couldn’t help her now and that this couldn’t last forever, but in this moment, as they walked into the hotel, it was just them. This was going to ruin her, she knew it, but she would still let it happen. Because if that was all she got of him for the rest of her life, she would take it.
He said, "Let's get out of this town, drive out of the city, away from the crowds." I thought heaven can’t help me now. Nothing lasts forever, but this is gonna take me down.
……………………………………………………………………
They went up to his room and Jo let go of his hand as she went over the balcony. She opened up the door and put her hands on the railing as she stared down at the wedding party. She could handle music from all the way up there, and she caught sight of Meredith with Luna as they swayed and danced to the music. Her sweet little girl smiled as she waved her arms in excitement as they danced.
She turned back to Alex. He looked so handsome in his suit, standing so tall before her despite how he seemed to shrink in her presence. He stood there, his hands in his pockets and his head tilted down. As she stared at him, it was then that her body took over her desire. She longed for him, for his touch, his kiss, his hands on her body. She could see how this would end before they even started, but she knew that this was what she wanted.
Jo came back to the moment as she just looked at him. She wanted to ask all of the questions that had been on her tongue from the moment he left. Why did he leave? Why was he back? Why did he tell her in a letter? Why did he lie to her? Why did he betray her? Why did he leave her? Why did he leave without her?
But she decided that she didn't care about his excuses for the reasons why he left. She didn't think that there was anything more that he could say to her, that he didn't already say in the letter. However, there was one question that she wanted answered.
So she asked. “Was it worth it? Why was leaving me to be a father to your kids in Kansas worth it?”
She could see the pain across his face as he looked down at his hand. He twisted his fingers over the empty space where his wedding ring used to rest on his finger. The weight of the metal was gone from his hands, but he clearly missed it. Jo looked at him, and she knew that he regretted it. As the tears swelled up in both of their eyes and she could tell that he wasn’t as happy as she was. Ever since she decided to be Luna's mom, she understood more so than before why Alex left, but she also understood that he didn't have to leave.
He looked up at her again, her body cast in the shadow as the sunlight streamed in behind her, yet he still looked up at her, clear as day. “Leaving you with the worst mistake of my life. I've been miserable ever since, and every second of the day, I miss you.”
As she looked at him as the word slipped out of her. “I miss you too.”
The music from the party changed to something soft and bittersweet. Jo turned and looked back at the party. Standing there, in the hotel room, he was close enough for her to touch, yet they were so far apart.
“I should get going,” Alex said, standing up and shuffling as he put his hand in his pockets again. “I just came for Maggie's wedding to see her, and Meredith, and the kids, and stuff, and my flight leaves early tomorrow. I'm just here for the night.”
“We just have tonight?”
“Yep, just tonight.”
Jo bit her lips as she considered doing something she knew she shouldn't do, but she wanted him again, if only for the night.
Jo looked down at the wedding again and spotted Luna in the crowd with Meredith. She could hear his footsteps come up behind her. She felt him press up against her back and felt his breath, hot in her ear.
“You look like a dream,” Alex whispered, his lips brushing up against her ear.
“I want you to remember me like this, here in this moment, just the two of us together,” Jo said as she looked out at the sun setting on the water.
“I will, Jo. I’ll always remember you like this. Standing here in this dress, your red lipstick, and your rosy cheeks, you've never looked more beautiful, even in my wildest dreams.”
“Do you still dream of me?” Jo asked, thinking of all of the dreams she had of him. The most recurring one was of him knocking on her door and walking back into her life again.
“I only dream of you,” Alex said as he put his hand around her waist and pulled her into him.
My one condition is, say you'll remember me standing in a nice dress, staring at the sunset, babe. Red lips and rosy cheeks, say you'll see me again, even if it's just in your Wildest Dreams.
……………………………………………………………………
She could feel him up against her, so familiar and yet so foreign because it was something he had done a million times, but not in the past year. She loved his hands on her waist, his chest against her back, and his head on her shoulder, but she wanted more of him.
She turned around and looked into his brown eyes, forgetting for a moment that this was a bad idea. It wouldn't change anything, but if she could have him, then that could be enough. It was her last request in this world just to have him again, if only for tonight. Her eyes trail down to his lips as her fingers trail up his white pressed shirt. Somehow it was still wrinkled, just like all of his white shirts always were. Her fingers went to his tie as she pulled at it, pulling them closer. She didn't kiss him just yet, as her hand went up to his shoulder, and she pushed his jacket off.
He caught on pretty quickly as his hand went up to her waist to the edge of her strapless gown. His fingers found the zipper at the side of her dress before his eyes caught hers.
“Jo?” Alex asked, his voice soft and sweet, and her name was familiar on his tongue, but the question lingered on his lips still unasked.
“I want you,” Jo said, making her intentions clear as her fingers went to the buttons on his dress shirt, delicately undoing each one.
“I'm with Izzie. We’re married,” Alex said, looking down and away from her.
“I don't fucken care,” Jo said, and she didn't. The knowledge that they were married hurt, but not as bad as her letter had, besides Alex was here alone with no ring on his finger, his hands were on her skin, and she could tell that he wanted her. “No one has to know what we do tonight.”
Jo never thought of herself as one to have an affair, to cheat with a married man, but here she was, and she doesn't care. Alex and Izzie cheated on her, before he even served her with divorce papers, before she knew anything was amiss, he was in her bed. Jo didn't care that she was stealing him back.
She finally kissed him. They melted together, and his lips felt so familiar. His lips felt so familiar, and they fit perfectly against hers. She tore off his shirt and moved to push him back to the bed, but Alex paused. His fingers dug at the zipper of her dress as he pulled it down. Jo didn't bother to hold it against her body. Instead, she just let the dress fall into a pile on the floor as she stepped out of it.
She stood there, half-naked before him, in only her heels and white cotton panties. Her panties had a small hole in the front of them because she was too busy getting Luna ready this morning to bother with anything fancy. Yet, Alex still looked at her like she took his breath away. He inhaled and took a step back, his hands leaving her waist. The back of his knees found the bed, and he fell back to sit on the bed. Alex just stared at her, giving her a look of red hot lust that felt hotter than the sun on her back that streamed in through the open balcony doors.
Jo couldn't help but smirk as she knew she looked like a vision standing before him. She carefully made her way over to him, taking her time as she enjoyed the look on his face. His hands reached out to hold her waist again, and his thumb hooks into the hem of her panties like he always did before he dragged them down her thighs.
His thick and nimble fingers trailed up her thighs again and brushed over the lips of her vulva between her legs as he teases her with his fingers. Jo spread her legs apart, and his fingers went in between her folds, feeling how dripping wet she was. The moment he touched her clit, she moaned for him. With his fingers on her clit, she couldn’t help but cry out because no one touched her like Alex did.
He seemed content to relearn her body as his fingers trailed over her labia and moved in circles around the entrance to her vagina. Before he moved up and circled around her clit. Her hips moved with his fingers, and she hated that she was this desperate for his touch. She thought she should make him work for her body, but she just wanted him so badly.
Alex's fingers continued to tease her folds, never truly entering her or focusing on her clit as Jo let out a moan. He moved forward to kiss her belly, his lips gently nipped at her skin, and his eyes glanced up at her. It was so automatic, the way that her hands went and tangled in his hair. His spare hand held onto her waist and he pulled her down to sit in his lap. Once they were face to face and he pulled her in for a kiss as Jo's hips rocked against his fingers.
He still teased her folds, and his fingers brushed over her skin, collecting her wetness and teasing her clit and just dipping into her. Jo let out a frustrated groan and rubbed against his fingers. It wasn’t fair that he got to tease her. Finally, she reached between them and grabbed his wrist as she forced him where she wanted him. Alex smirked and let out a chuckle before he picked her up as her eyes flew open.
She expected him to be a little rough with her in the way they sometimes were when they were teasing each other, but instead, he gently held her and made sure she was secure before he turned around and laid her down on the bed. Alex moved back to stand before her at the end of the bed as Jo laid there and stared up at him. Now she was the one who stared at him as he was a vision before her as the sun glittered around his shadow. He made quick work of getting out of his suit. When he finally pulled down his boxers, Jo’s lips parted for a second as she stared at him.
Alex's body had always been something she had lusted over, but his body had changed in the past couple of years. To be fair, so had her body. They both held a little more weight, and he carried his in his abdomen, but she didn't care about his beer belly. She still looked as strong and as handsome as the day that she first met him. She could see the hair on his chest, and she wanted to tango her fingers in it. The muscles in his arms that he had so he could let the kids he worked with hang off his arms, and at night he held her safe in his arms. His long leg lifted her up and carried her to bed when she fell asleep on the car ride home. But most of all, she loved his handsome face, the little wrinkle around his cheeks, his eyes that lit up just for her, and his lips that did wonderful nasty things to her.
Then there's his cock, long and thick like his fingers and oh god, did she remember taking him for the first time and how full she felt. She remembered the way his hips danced against her, causing her to cry out and enter a world of pure pleasure she didn't know was possible. The day she finally let him take her to bed, she understood why all the women of the hospital were obsessed with him because his talents were unmatched. Back then, he was hers and hers alone. He had been hers ever since that day, and she wanted to claim him once again.
Jo sat up and reached out to him, putting a hand on his hips as she pulled him forward, and he stepped up to her. She looked up at him through her eyelashes and could tell the way his breath quickened as his heartbeat. She smiled, knowing that she could still get that reaction out of him again before she looked down at her target. His cock stood at attention, pointing out at her, and Jo reached out to grab his hips and hold him steady. As she reached out, Jo leaned forward to take his cock in her hands. She wrapped her fingers around him, giving him a little tug before she continued to trail her fingers around him.
Alex instantly melted like putty in her hands as he closed his eyes and let out a moan. She teased him, just like he teased her, with short strokes up and down his cock, pausing just a moment to run her thumb over his head before she moved her hand back down, never fully taking him. Then her hands became more determined and she wrapped her hand around him and pumped him into her hands. His hand moved to her, held her head, and tangled in her hair as he pulled her forward, so the head of his cock brushed against her breasts. She loved the way that he reacted to her, so needy and desperate as he became a morning mess. Jo smiled as she continued to tease him more. She held the head of his cock against her breast and rubbed his precum over her nipples as he groaned.
As much as she knew he enjoyed this handjob, she wanted him inside of her. She wanted him to make love to her like they were still married, like he was still hers, she wanted to claim his body, his mind, his soul as hers. Alex caught on to her train of thought, always so in sync with her body, as she wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him down on top of her. Jo laid down on the bed and instantly pulled her knees open and spread her legs wide as he crawled in between her.
He hesitated for a moment as he looked down and her spread open before him. His eyes meet her for a moment as they get lost just for a second. Jo reached up and brushed her fingers along his cheek before tangling in the hairs at the back of his neck as she pulled him down into a kiss. Alex relaxed then kissed her like he used to before putting his hand on her body to hold her close as his other hand held his cock at her opening. Finally, he pushed into her, it was slow and sweet, and the second he was fully inside of her, Jo squeezed her walls around him, holding him in.
They both took a moment to appreciate the feeling of being one again. Alex pulled back his lips, leaving hers as his eyes fluttered open, and he stared at her. Jo gazed into his Honey brown eyes, her lips partying. Here he was, with his cock inside of her again, his body on top of her, and his eyes staring into hers. Alex held himself up with one arm as he wrapped one arm around her, pulling her into his body as she wrapped her arms around his neck, holding him as close to her as possible. She wanted to hold him in her arms forever.
After a moment, he pulled out of her, all the way until the head of his cock was teasing her clit again. She didn't want to beg or cry out for him, but if he didn't start moving soon, she was going to roll over and take him for herself. Finally, he gave her a slow and long thrust as he moved in and out of her. His stamina seemed to be wearing thin as he picked up speed like he always did when he made love to her. As he pulled back and looked at her, she could tell that he wanted to fuck her as badly as she wanted him to.
Alex looked down at her with that stupid look before he started pounding into her. Jo threw her head back and let out a whine. She could hear how his lips clicked as he smirked. Not to be outdone, she moved her hips up to meet him as they slammed into each other. His smirk disappeared as he got lost in the pleasure just as much as she did as he finally fucked her. They both got lost in the pleasure as Alex had always been a man of many talents and his sexual abilities always left her breathless. He went fast and hard, and she was crying out around him as she chased her high. Alex kept moving faster and going harder, he didn’t slow down, and he didn’t let up as he fucked her harder. He had fucked her like this before, on days when they had fun. She used to tease him, and he would slam into her until she saw stars and came around him. Hard and fast and fun. Though this wasn't what she wanted, she wanted to hold him and have him lay with her like he used to. She wanted the intimacy of holding him in her arms and kissing him as she made him hers again. She didn't want him to just fuck her, she wanted him to make love to her.
“Slow down,” Jo breathed out as she wrapped her arms around his neck. She looked into his eyes as he stared at her again. “Make love to me, make love to me like we're still married, like you’re still mine, and I'm still yours. Love me, Alex, just for tonight.”
He did as she asked, slowing down to a pleasurable pace for both of them. She held his head and tangled her hands in his hair as he leaned down and kissed her like he used to do.
“I do love you, Jo,” Alex said as he leaned down and kissed her before he trailed his lips across her cheek and down her neck. “I love you, I love you, I love you.”
Each kiss was said with soft lips on her skin as his love filled her up again. His kisses were so familiar and his lips had been on hers a thousand times. Jo would never get used to the feeling of getting lost in him as he kissed his way down her neck, soft and gentle, claiming her in a way she only let him do. She looked at him again. Alex's head was on her chest as he kissed over her heart. He still moved inside her, but it was more of a roll of his hips. Jo trailed her hand down his back and across the familiar plane of his back. She moved her hand over his chest moving up and pushing him back just a little so she could stare at him. Those familiar blissed out honey golden eyes greeted her with his lips parted as his hips moved, and she let out a moan. Looking into his eyes again, she knew he was his, and she knew that he loved her.
She wasn’t surprised that they both didn’t last very long. They never did when they made love to each other like this. His body was as familiar to her as her own, and she could tell that he was close by the way his hips become a little less intent and more erotic and the way he closed his eyes. His breath was high as it caught in his throat. She moved her hips up to meet him, and he reached between their bodies as his fingers fumbled with her clit for a second before two fingers dance circles around the swollen bud in a familiar way. It was exactly how she liked it as she took in a breath that caught in her throat.
They were both so close, and she squeezed her legs against his hips and rolled her hips against his fingers for an extra bit of friction. Jo was never one to be quiet, and her moans turned into high-pitched whines as she cried out his name. They were both so lost in their own pleasure, but not enough to forget the other person as he opened his eyes and stared at her. This time instead of a smark, he smiled just a little bit. It was a happy and love filled smile. She couldn't help but smile back at him as he leaned down and kissed her just as he pushed her over the edge, and she came with a cry against his lips.
She nearly screamed and cried out as she came. Her toes curled, and she withered underneath him, her back arched as she pushed her chest against him as the pleasure overtook her body. She let out a cry of his name as his lips danced all over her cheek, and he whispers her name against her skin. She was overcome with pleasure and clawed at his back as her pussy fluttered around his cock. Alex pulled his arm around her shoulder and let her bury her face in his shoulder like he knew she liked to do after she came. He sat up and pulled her body into his as she came. He still thrust inside of her, and she tried to remember to bouch in his lap as she wanted him to come to.
She knew the moment he came as his hips picked up speed just for a few minutes before he buried himself instead of her as his thighs shook. He cried out her name in her ear and wrapped her arms around him, and held him close. His hips became erratic as he came before he buried himself inside of her and held her as close as he could, resting his forehead on her shoulder. They both became too heavy, and Jo fell back against the bed, pulling Alex with her. As they came down from there high, her legs fell apart, one stretching out onto the bed, and he rested his hand on her chest.
Jo took in a breath, slowly letting it out as she opened her and was greeted with the sight of the dark curls of his hair. She reached up and ran her fingers through her hair, twirling astray and as she massaged his scalp. He pulled back from where he had buried his face in her breasts. His eyes were soft as he smiled, and she smiled too, happy and in love with him. He kissed her again before he rolled them over, so she was the one on top. His cock never left her cunt, and she could still feel him twitch as he still filled her up with his cum.
Jo laid her head on his chest, and he ran his fingers through her hair, pulling it out and away from her back as he ran his hand up and down her spine. They just laid there together, and he let out a breath as she looked up to see his eyes were closed. His short eyelashes fluttered against his cheek. She missed this too. Both of them in the afterglow completely wrapped around each other. His cock was still buried inside of her, and his arms around her waist as he held her close. She felt so wanted and loved in moments like this, but more so because of the man who held her.
Alex was the one man who truly loved her. In his arms, she took safety and he protected her against the harsh world. She closed her eyes, wishing she could fall asleep in his arms just one last time. From a moment she did, from the moment they relaxed around each other. She played with his chest hair massaging her fingers into his chest and giving it gentle tugs. His fingers running up and down her spine up and down, up and down, and his lips found the top of her head as he pressed a kiss to her forehead.
She remembered the days when he pulled her back into bed as her alarm went off, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her back into his embrace. She remembered how she melted against him, never wanting to leave his warm embrace where she was safe and loved. She would give anything to go back to that, but as she opened her eyes, she realized that she truly wouldn't want to go back in time. Doing so would mean giving up the best part of her life, her daughter, Luna, and Jo could never give her up.
What she truly wanted was to have both of them. Alex and Luna. Maybe if he had chosen to stay with her, maybe if this wasn’t just an affair, she could have them both. For a moment, Jo closed her eyes. She let out a sigh as she let herself be comforted by his arms around her. She imagined the life where Alex had never left her, where they had adopted Luna together. Instead of having an affair, they had sat together at Maggie's wedding and danced together at the reception, and Meredith had offered to take Luna for the night to give them a night alone. The two of them had gone up to their hotel room together and made love to each other because they were in love, maybe because they were trying for another baby so that Luna could have a sibling. Maybe she would already be pregnant, as they had planned to have a baby once he got back. But he never came back, and this wasn't her hotel room, Luna wasn't his daughter, and Jo wasn't his wife.
A few minutes Jo would get up and collect her things. Alex would help her zip up the side of her dress, and she would redo his tie, so it was perfectly straight. They would go back to the party, and his hand would leave her waist. Jo would find Meredith and hold her daughter close and dance with her instead. Their eyes would still meet across the party, but then they would look away because every good thing ends. But for now, she listened to Alex's heartbeat under her ear, and she felt his breath on the top of her head as his lips kissed her again and his fingers trail down her spine. She pressed herself against him and ran her hands across his chest, just a little longer. She kissed him again because she could. For now, in this moment, Alex was hers, and if all she ever had was this. If all she had was him in this bed tonight, then she was going to savor it because soon all she would have was him in her wildest dreams. She always saw him again in her dreams.
I said, "No one has to know what we do." His hands are in my hair, his clothes are in my room. And his voice is a familiar sound, nothing lasts forever, but this is getting good now. He's so tall and handsome as hell. He's so bad, but he does it so well. And when we've had our very last kiss. My last request is, say you'll remember me standing in a nice dress, staring at the sunset, babe. Red lips and rosy cheeks say you'll see me again, even if it's just in your Wildest Dreams.
……………………………………………………………………
Alex settled into the window seat of the airplane on his way back to Kansas. He glanced out the window to get one last look at Seattle, but all he could think about was the vision of Jo tangled up in sheets in the bed next to him. He remembered it so vividly and he clung to those memories. The feel of the soft cotton sheets around them. The soft feel of her body, still sticky with sweat, as he ran his fingers over every inch of her. The feel of her hair through his fingers, long and beautiful and as dark as he remembered. Her eyes, the way her brown eyes sparkled with happiness. Her smile, the one she gave him, was so genuine and soft as if none of the hurt and pain exited between them.
However, most of all, he remembered her standing at the balcony. Her dark silhouette against the setting sun in her beautiful dress. He remembered the way her cheeks flushed to match her red lipstick. She was a vision of beauty that he always knew her to be. He always said that if he had one last night with her, he would take the time and worship her, and he did.
The flight attendants made the announcement over the speakers, and he checked his seat belt before they took off and left Seattle. Back to Kansas and his wonderful kids, but the boring life that he had when they weren't around, but this was the life that he chose, he chose to burn it all down with Jo. To be left with only fond memories that followed him around like ghosts.
He would hold onto the memories the sound of her laughter, the feel of her in his arms, the sight of her naked body standing before him, the way her smile lit up his whole world, she made him the happiest he had ever been, and now that she was gone all the sunshine that she brought to his love had ended too. Of course, he loved his kids, and they brought a light into his life, but they weren’t his other half, Jo was.
Alex sighed as he accepted his fate. This was the life he had chosen. He reached into his bag and pulled out his wedding ring from the pocket where he had stored it on the flight out to Seattle. He didn't want anybody to know that he and Izzie got remarried. He was still so deeply ashamed of what he had done by leaving Jo, and he didn't want to hurt her further by shoving the ring in her face. No one, not even Meredith, knew they were married again, and he figured he would keep it that way for a little while longer.
Izzy had only gotten married a few months before, in a civil ceremony. He did it to prove that he was all in with her and the kids, but also for practicality’s sake. It was easier legally for him to be with the kids, although he was on their birth certificates, he hadn't been in their lives until now. It was easier for the courts to see that he intended to be in their lives now and forever if he made that commitment to their mother. Their marriage was one of convenience and duty, but they tried to love each other. Izzie tried more than he did, but he did it so that his kids could have a happy family.
He settled the ring on his finger. The band was engraved with Izzie, Alexis, and Eli's names as they were his family now. The golden band was heavier than the light silver ring that Jo had given him when they got married. Alex missed how easy it was to be married to Jo when every day it was a heavy responsibility to be married to Izzie. Yet, it was a responsibility he took on when he left to be with his kids. Alex took one last look out the window and watched Seattle get smaller and smaller underneath him before the city disappeared in the clouds.
You'll see me in hindsight tangled up with you all night, burnin' it down. Someday when you leave me, I bet these memories follow you around.
……………………………………………………………………
Jo sat on the floor of the bathroom as Luna crawled around her, grabbing the bathtub toys she had pulled out and scattered around the floor. Jo was envious of her childlike innocence and ignorance, she was completely oblivious to the turmoil her mother was going through, but that was the way it should be.
Jo thought about the night she spent with Alex at Maggie's wedding. She remembered the way the sheets tangled around his body like they always did when they had sex in the sheets. She remembered that way her fingers trailed over his body, so familiar and comforting to her as she remembered him and relearned his body.
She remembered the way he slept so peacefully as she slipped out of bed. She hated to leave him like that, slipping out of his arms as he slept next to her. She hated that she couldn't get to sleep next to him for one last night, but she couldn't leave her daughter. Despite how Meredith texted and assured her that she could take Luna for the night and that she would be fine, Jo couldn't bear to spend the night without her.
She remembered the way she leaned down to kiss him one last time, and he woke up and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her back in. He was trying to keep her, but he was the one who left, and she wasn't his to keep. She remembered that last goodbye as she slipped out of the room, sparing him one last glance as he sat up in the bed and stared at her. Unlike the pain and sadness that had been between them for so long, she smiled as she left, and so did he as he watched her go. For both of them, it was a cherished memory.
Even though she knew the memories of Alex followed her around. His voice in her head, as she made a bottle for Luna just the way he taught her how to do it on the Ped’s floor. His old Iowa Hawkeye t-shirt that was her favorite comfy outfit, although his scent had long since faded from the fabric. The couch that was theirs, that still held all the memories of him and the nights they spent on the couch.
The memory that haunted her was the smile that he gave her as she closed the door to his hotel room. It lingered in her mind, accompanied by his voice as he had jokingly asked if he would see her again? She said that he would see her in his wildest dreams. Jo always saw Alex in her dreams, but now she knew she would see him again.
She knew that before she started throwing up in the morning, she knew that before she missed her period. She knew that before the timer on her phone went off and before the pregnancy test turned positive. She knew she would see Alex again, and now that she was carrying his baby, she would have to see him again.
Despite everything, she couldn't help but smile because this baby was someone of their wildest dreams. Alex had always wanted a baby with her, and before he left, she had wanted a baby with him. It had been something they dreamed of together, and now, despite everything, somehow, it had become a reality. She was pregnant with Alex's baby.
Jo reached out to Luna as she stood up against the edge of the tub and made little raspberry noises as she played with her ducky. She picked her up and smiled as she squealed in delight and set her on her lap, leaning in to kiss her and blow raspberries against her cheek as Luna's wonderful laughter filled the room.
“Hey Luna, do you want to be a big sister?” Jo asked, looking into the blue eyes of her little girl.
“Sissy,” Luna babbled, Jo wasn't sure what kind of response she expected from her one-year-old, but Luna looked up at her and giggled, reaching out to place our hand on Jo’s cheeks.
“That's right, you're going to be a sister,” Jo said as Luna's blue eyes met her own. “There's a baby in Mama's belly. What do you think about that?”
“Baba,” Luna bobbled using the words she used for her little baby doll.
“Yeah, a baby,” Jo said with a nod as she smiled. “You are going to be a good big sister, aren't you, my Little Moon? Let's just hope that your baby’s other siblings are good to them too.”
Jo put her arm around Luna and held her close as she put another hand over her belly, she wasn't showing yet, but she was pregnant. Despite how she had no idea how they were going to work it out, she knew they would because of the love they still held for each other. She always knew that she would see Alex again, but never in her wildest dreams did she imagine that it would lead to this.
You'll see me in hindsight, tangled up with you all night, burnin' it down. Someday when you leave me, I bet these memories follow you around. Say you'll remember me standing in a nice dress, staring at the sunset, babe. Red lips and rosy cheeks, say you'll see me again, even if it's just in your wildest dreams.

Bobbi Morse-Okaia tipped back her beer, taking another drink from it before laughing at the joke Mon-El made. Kate Kane had decided to take the night off of being a superhero, so there was a group of them hanging at Kate’s bar.
“We should do this more often,” Jade Okaia-Morse murmured into Bobbi’s ear, slipping an arm around her wife’s waist.
“It is pretty fun,” Bobbi agreed. Mon-El made another joke, causing everyone to laugh and Kara Danvers to playfully smack her boyfriend’s shoulder before leaning against it.
“This has got to be the least straight group ever,” Alex Danvers commented, Maggie Sawyer nodding in agreement.
“She’s right, no one here is straight,” Rhea Ripley agreed.
“It’s hard to be straight around you,” Toni Storm teased.
“Can’t help it if all the girls want to call me Daddy,” Rhea smirked.
“A dom top Daddy,” Kate said, leaning across the bar to quickly kiss Rhea before doing the same to Toni. The group laughed again as the door to the bar opened and the clicking of heels approached. Kara looked up first, her expression turning sad. Mon-El turned to see what made Kara so sad and when he saw who it was, his expression turned cold.
“What are you doing here?” He asked coldly. Lena Luthor sneered at him.
“It’s a public bar,” she said. Kate looked at Kara and noticed the look on her friend’s face.
“Oh, is this that bitch? The one who hurt you?” Kate demanded.
“I deserved it,” Kara mumbled. Kate shook her head as Bobbi stood, pulling her gun out and aiming it at Lena.
“You must be Lena Luthor, the bitch who hurt Kara with kryptonite because she kept something very private to her a secret. See, Kara’s my friend and I don’t like it when my friends get hurt,” Bobbi said calmly. Jade stood and gently pulled her wife back, taking the gun out of her hands and putting it in the waistband of her own pants.
“I got this babe,” Jade said before turning to Lena.
“And who are you?” Lena asked in a dismissive tone.
“I’m Jade Okaia. Princess of Outworld. And if you ever, and I mean ever decide to threaten to out someone against their will again, I will personally see to it that you learn respect,” Jade replied, her tone icy. Lena scoffed.
“I didn’t threaten to out her,” she replied.
“Oh, but you did. Maybe not in the traditional sense, but according to both SHIELD and the DEO, along with STAR Labs, the Avengers, Young Avengers, New Avengers, X-Men, Fearsome Four, Fantastic Five, Justice League, Young Justice, and Outworld that revealing or threatening to reveal a superhero’s identity counts as a form of outing them,” Jade said. Lena scoffed as Alex shook her head.
“I used to think you were a good friend to my sister, but now I know you’re nothing but a selfish, self centered, entitled bitch,” she said disappointedly. By now, Kate had made her way over to the other side of the bar.
“You should leave, now,” she said dangerously. Lena looked her up and down.
“And who are you?” She said dismissively.
“Kate Kane. And she’s taught me that everything that happened with you is not my fault,” Kara said. Kate stared down Lena as the door opened again.
“You’re only acting this way because I’m a Luthor,” Lena said.
“No, it’s because you’ve never once felt remorse for your actions. Hell, I have a lot of blood on my hands, blood of innocents. But I’ve made amends and am working towards a better future for my people,” Skarlet Johnson-Rogers said as she walked in with James Rogers, Kitana Okaia-Morse, and Liu Kang.
“And who are you?” Lena asked.
“Skarlet Johnson-Rogers. Queen of Edenia. Daughter of Shao Kahn and adopted by Thanos. You should know that pissing off Outworld enough like this makes you damn near irredeemable. They forgave my mom, and her and Princess Jade have hated each other for years,” Liu said. Lena scoffed and turned to leave. On her way out, Lena very obviously on purpose bumped her shoulder against Kitana rather roughly.
“Oh that’s it,” Kitana said and grabbed the back of Lena’s jacket, yanking the Luthor towards her and punching her out.
“Seriously Kitana!” Kara exclaimed.
“Hey, the bitch ran into me and it seriously fucking hurt,” Kitana said, rubbing at her shoulder. James bent down and lifted up Lena’s arm, showing a gold colored bracelet on her wrist. Kara inhaled sharply.
“Gold kryptonite,” she said.
“The only known thing that can negate the healing factor of Outworlders, Edenians, and Kryptonians,” Bobbi said. James took the bracelet off Lena and put it into his own pocket before looking at Bobbi.
“I’ll call SHIELD, have them pick her up,” he said. Bobbi nodded and James walked off. Fifteen minutes later, SHIELD arrived and cuffed Lena, taking her away.

“Y/N! I would never cheat on you! Why don’t you trust me?” Arizona yelled. You sighed.
“You did it to Callie!” You yelled. It was a low blow, you knew it. You knew Arizona was trying her best to hide Callie from you, she thought you didn’t know. But little did Arizona know you’ve been working in the hospital on a different floor for years, she knew you are best friends with Meredith, but she didn’t know that you knew about her and Callie super well.
“How do you know Callie?” Arizona asked. You sighed.
“I’ve worked at the hospital since it was Seattle Grace. I was there during the merger. The plane crash. Mer is my best friend, which you know, and I was there for her when Lexie died because Derek and Cristina were too injured to be by her side. I was on your floor for weeks, but was in Mer’s room the whole time. I was there when Derek died. I helped her move on, and start dating Andrew. Arizona, I literally helped Alex and Callie amputate your leg but you were too out of it when you woke up to remember me.” You told her, making her freeze. She just stared at you, in what you were hoping was shock and not anger.
“Why didn’t you tell me?” She asked.
“Because you never told me about her. Before Callie left she said you didn’t want me to know about you and her! She felt like I deserved to know. So she told me about your history of hiding ex’s, and everything about your relationship. But she told me not to tell you because you’d freak. So I just kept my mouth shut. I wanted to avoid problems.” You told her.
She sighed. She knew you were being reasonable. You had every right to be angry that she was hiding her past wife, and every right to be concerned that you knew she has cheated before.
“Callie and I, that was different.”
“How? Please enlighten me.”
“I had just gotten into a plane crash! I went through one of the most traumatic experiences of my life. I trusted Callie not to amputate my leg and she did.”
“So you cheated on her? She wanted to keep you alive, Arizona! If she didn’t have Alex and I amputate your leg you would’ve died. She was trying to keep you alive.”
“God, I know she was!” Arizona yelled, making you flinch. Hoping she missed it, you went to reply, but you noticed her features soften. “You flinched.”
“Yeah. I did. Anyways-“ You tried to push past it before she interrupted you.
“No, no forget that. Has someone hurt you before?” She asked. You sighed, but didn’t answer her. Arizona’s eyes softened even more as she slowly opened her arms to offer you a hug.
You were hesitant because you knew she was just angry at you. But you trusted her anyways and accepted her embrace.
“Yes.” You finally answered, which only made her tighten her grip on you.
“Y/N. I’d never lay a hand on you.” She whispered in your ear. You melted into her touch. Only Meredith knew about your abusive ex. She was there to make sure that you ex was put behind bars no matter what happened.
“You’re my first relationship since my ex. Because I trust you. After my ex I’ve never trusted anyone as much as I trust you.”
Arizona caressed your cheek gently. “I’d never hurt you, Y/N.”
The next day at work, Arizona pulled Meredith into an on call room.
“Did you know that Y/N has been hurt by an ex before?” Arizona asked.
“She finally told you?” Meredith asked, sounding proud. “Good for her.”
“She flinched during an argument.” Arizona replied. Meredith sighed, her heart sinking for you. She was thinking about how she can help make you feel better after work when Arizona interrupted her thoughts. “So, that’s a yes. You knew?”
“Yes. I helped her get them arrested.”
“But you didn’t tell me?”
“It’s not my place to talk about her issues. What she tells me stays between us until she’s ready to tell other people, which she’ll do at her own pace.”
“But this is different! This is her safety.”
“When she told me, she said specifically, this stays between us. So it stayed between us. Even Derek knew not to meddle when it came to us, and you know how he used to be. Now Andrew’s the same. He lets me keep Y/N’s secrets without freaking out.”
“So you also knew that she knew about Callie?”
Meredith just nodded, leaning up against the wall. “It’s not lying, you know. If you didn’t tell her, she didn’t lie, you never asked.”
“Yeah. I know.”
You went to Joe’s after work. You were meeting Meredith there. She wanted to help you feel better since you were still super worked up and freaked out about this whole Arizona situation. When you walked in you saw her already sitting at a table.
“Hey Mer.” You sighed, seeing she’d already ordered you whiskey. “Oh god you’re the best.”
“So Arizona came and talked to me today. What happened? Something about you flinching during an argument?” Meredith started softly. You just rolled your eyes.
“I was just about to tell you about that.” You laughed, Meredith nodded softly.
“She pretty much yanked me into an on call started accusing me of knowing about your ex and the fact that you know Callie and not telling her.”
“Basically I just panicked. She was getting really overexcited and defensive, which terrified me.” You began. “She didn’t even raise her hands or anything. She just kinda got super loud, and it made me flinch.”
“You do know she’d never lay a hand on you like that though, right?”
“Oh god of course. Even in arguments she’s normally really gentle. Last night she was just acting like I caught her red handed in something I shouldn’t know about. Which I guess I did, she finally found out I know about Callie.” You responded. Meredith nodded, sipping her drink.
“Now that she knows about your ex I’m sure she’ll try her best to tone it down a little more if you two fight. Did she apologize?”
“Not really. She panicked, gave me a hug and assured me she’d never hit me. But she never really acknowledged it.” You replied. “I’m sure she will when I get back home though.”
“If you need to stay at my place tonight you know my door is always open. The kids would love to see you again, and Andrew is staying at the hospital overnight so you don’t have to worry about that.” Meredith laughed.
“Actually, is it okay if I stay at your place tonight? I’m not really in the mood to go back home tonight.” You admitted softly. Meredith nodded quickly.
“Come on. You okay to drive?” She asked, leaving money on the table. You nodded, hopped in your car and followed Meredith to her house.
When you both arrived at her house, Ellis, Bailey and Zola all came flying down the stairs. Ellis ran over to you and clung to your leg. Ellis always had this love for you, and no one could pinpoint why.
“Hey Ellis.” You smiled, lifting the girl up and placing her on your hip. The little girl, who couldn’t talk yet just smiled at you. You gave Bailey and Zola hugs, before Amelia summoned the kids back upstairs so she can put them to bed. Placing a kiss on Ellis’ head, you set her down and watched her take off up the stairs after her siblings to her Auntie Amelia.
“Come sit. I’ll grab you some wine?” Meredith offered.
“Yes please.” You agreed, leaving your shoes by the door before placing yourself on her couch.
“I think Maggie already went to Jackson’s and Amelia is going to Link’s so it’s just going to be us.” Meredith said, handing you a glass.
“That’s completely fine with me.” You agreed sipping your wine. Amelia came down the stairs, and smiled at you.
“Y/N! I thought I heard your voice! You giving Mer some company?” Amelia asked. You and Meredith both laughed.
“Yeah. I just had to get out of the house tonight. Long story.” You replied, brushing it off.
“I’ll see you guys tomorrow!” Amelia smiled, heading out the door.
“Hoodies and no pants?” Meredith asked, laughing. You nodded, laughing along with her. She jogged upstairs and grabbed a hoodie for you. When she came back down she had her hoodie on and was already without pants. As you did the same she started searching for movies to watch.
“Your favorite Dartmouth hoodie?” You asked as you slipped it over your head, making Meredith laugh.
“Just like our old movie nights before relationships.” She smiled.
“I almost miss not being in a relationship.” You laughed, sitting next to her on the couch.
“Should you tell Arizona? That you’re here?” Meredith asked. You sighed.
“Probably. Am I going to? Probably not.” You replied, shutting your phone completely off and tossing it to the side.
“Comedy movie night?” Meredith asked.
“You know me too well.”
A couple of movies in there was a frantic knock at Meredith’s door.
“Uh oh. That can’t be good.” Meredith sighed, standing up to open the door.
The second she pulled it open, Arizona flew into the house. Breathing a sigh of relief when she saw you sitting on the couch, wearing one of Meredith’s hoodies.
“Hey.” You greeted casually.
“If you are going to yell can you do that outside?” Meredith asked before Arizona could reply. “My kids are sleeping.”
“I’m not going to yell.” Arizona replied to Meredith before looking at you. “You should’ve texted me or something.”
“You’re right, I should’ve. We just wanted a no pants, wine filled movie night with no partners.” You explained. Meredith nodded to back you up.
“You know she’s safe, so you guys can talk tomorrow or something, okay? You gotta let her breathe.” Meredith replied gently. Arizona just sighed before nodding and leaving.
Meredith shut and locked the door behind her, before coming back to the couch.
“Are you okay?” She asked.
“Yeah. Let’s keep going.” You replied.
At the hospital the next morning you were jotting down some notes about a patient to help one of your interns. Meredith came up behind you, and handed you a coffee.
“Thank you, Mer.” You smiled up at her.
“Anytime. Arizona is looking for you, is it okay to send her in?” Meredith asked. After taking a sip you nodded.
“Okay.” She smiled, before leaving the room you were in. Soon after, Arizona came into the room. You smiled softly at her, before looking back down to your notes.
“Can we talk?” Arizona asked, setting your pen down you nodded. She took a seat across from you and sighed. “I’m sorry. I understand why you needed a night away from me and I can completely respect that. A text would be nice though.”
You nodded. “You’re right, I should’ve texted you. I’m sorry. Thank you for understanding why I needed some time.”
“I know Mer and her kids love you.” She added, chuckling nervously. You tilted your head to the side, when it finally clicked.
“You, you do know you don’t have to worry about Mer and I. Right?” You asked softly.
“Just walking into the house and seeing you wearing her favorite Dartmouth hoodie, and no pants. It was just weird.” Arizona replied with a sigh.
“I get it.” You began softly. “We’ve been doing that since way before you and I were dating. We’ve been doing it since before her and Derek were even married.”
“It’s like, I know she’s straight but I just can’t shake that stupid suspicion that I know is not happening.” Arizona sighed. You reached out and took her hands in yours.
“You don’t have to worry about her one bit. Okay? She’s just my best friend, and she was just making sure I was okay.” You promised.
Arizona smiled as she got up to place a kiss on your lips. You pulled her down onto your lap, continuing to kiss her gently.
“I love you, Arizona. Nothing can ever change that.” You promised. Arizona smiled, holding you close.
“I love you too Y/N. So much.”

The Golden Trio. The Three Musketeers. There were many nicknames people had for Emma, Lily, and Alex. They had been born one month apart from the other, and had been raised together since diaper hood. They’d gone through everything together - learning how to ride bikes, first crushes, first broken hearts, driver’s ed, and now, they were all going to the same college.
But this time, Emma had kept something to herself. She had yet to tell either of them that she’d been on that date with Neal, because she knew Lily would get that smug, ‘I told you so’ look on her face. Plus, that date had felt different from the dates she’d been on in their little town, and she really wanted to make sure she’d settled in her feelings before blabbing to her friends about it.
She couldn’t stop thinking about how Neal’s smile lit up the room, how the light hit his eyes, how that kiss made her feel like her heart was going to explode from happiness.
And they were planning a second date! Emma felt her head beginning to spin, overwhelmed. She’d spent an hour talking to her mom after she’d gotten home and showered, and thankfully her mom had been open to listening about how she felt and was encouraging her to see where the relationship went.
She wouldn’t be nervous about the whole “meet the parents” thing if it wasn’t for Eudora. She’d grown up knowing Mr. Gold all her life (he wasn’t nearly as intimidating as he seemed), but Eudora was a stranger to her, and despite Neal’s high praise of her, it still had her worried.
Emma was so deep in thought, she didn’t realize her friends were approaching until Lily’s lunch tray dropped down in front of her face, and Emma felt like she jumped a mile.
“Lily! Alex!”
“Geez Emma, any deeper in thought and you were going to land straight in your onion rings!” Alex remarked, setting her tray much more gently onto the table than Lily had. “What’s on your mind?”
“Wait, don’t tell us, it’s Neal, isn’t it?” Lily cut in, a Cheshire Cat-like grin already on her face. “He asked you out, didn’t he?”
Emma rolled her eyes and groaned. “Fine, yeah, it’s Neal. We went out on Friday.”
“It’s Monday and you’re only just telling us this?!” Alex yelped. “Emma! We’re your best friends!”
“Honestly, we were supposed to have a big montage of buying you an outfit for the date!”  Lily agreed. “But how’d it go?”
Emma smiled, coy. “I don’t kiss and tell, girls.”
Alex looked like she was about ready to explode from happiness as she bounced in her chair, while Lily, as expected, looked smug.
“So he’s a good kisser, huh?” Lily asked.
“Lily!”
“That’s a yes then,” Alex smirked.
“This is why I didn’t tell you,” Emma grumbled, biting an onion ring before taking a sip of her soda. “But what about either of you? Meet anyone interesting now that we’re nearing the end of our first college semester?”
“Nah. No one’s all that interesting. I mean, they’re fine to talk to… well except the guy that sits next to me in my music theory class falls asleep every day… and drools.”
Emma wrinkled her nose. “Ew. What about you, Lily?”
“Same. I mean, girls are cute which is always good but you know I’ve never been a big fan of dating,” she said with a shrug.
“I still think you should’ve asked out Maggie from your biology lab,” Alex pouted. “You would’ve been so cute together.”
“I’m not the dating type,” Lily countered. “But I have been very well acquainted with Maggie as of late.”
Emma gave Lily a triumphant smirk. “So I’m not the only one keeping secrets then, huh?”
“Um, I already told you all my secrets Emma. You’re the one still being coy about your date with Neal.”
She frowned. “What is there to tell? He let mom take a proper picture for her scrapbook, he took me to Tony’s for dinner and then we took a walk on the beach until it started raining. And then we planned for another date.”
Lily wagged her eyebrows. “Oooh, date number two, huh? When’s that going to be?”
“I don’t know. His mom and sister are coming in for Thanksgiving, so he’s got to figure all that out before we decide,” she said with a small shrug, tossing a napkin on her empty plate. “You know how busy it gets around here during Thanksgiving so I don’t expect it to be before then.”
“Then that gives us time to plan your outfit!” Alex chirped.
Emma groaned and rolled her eyes. “Honestly, this isn’t the first date I’ve ever been on. Why are you two so obsessed with this?”
“Because it’s fun to watch you squirm,” Lily shrugged.
“You two are the worst,” Emma grumbled as her phone buzzed. “Oops, time for me to head to my math final! Guess we’ll have to talk later! Byeeee!”
Emma was out of the cafeteria before Lily or Alex realized what happened, her cheeks still bright pink.
----
Thanksgiving in Storybrooke was a chaotic time for the small town. The scent of baked goods became even stronger in the air as the bakers frantically produced pies, cookies, breads and cakes for those who didn’t want to bake them themselves.
The town’s decorating committee, headed by Mary-Margaret Nolan, was hard at work transforming the town into something out of a magazine, with banners and an array of decorations on each and every building and light pole in the town.
Belle had mapped out the route for the parade, X’s carefully marking the sidewalks and roads before the sheriff's deputies put the barriers up to block traffic.
The Nolan family was hard at work during their free moments from school or work, harvesting fresh fruits and vegetables for their friends and loved ones.
Neal was used to a hustle and bustle in town, but Storybrooke was something else. The beauty of the fall colors he’d only seen on TV or in movies along with the decorations made it feel like something out of a cheesy Lifetime movie, and Neal didn’t mind. It would be fun to show it off to Mama, Tiana, Mr. La Bouff and Charlotte.
Bangor Airport was only a couple of hours from Storybrooke, but waiting for the plane to come in was agonizing. Neal found himself caught between frantically checking his phone and pacing between the arrival list and the nearby cafe.
“NEAL!!”
Charlotte La Bouff’s voice cut through the crowded airport like a knife, her blonde hair bouncing with each step she took.
He should have figured she’d be leading the charge.
“Hey Lottie - oof!” he grunted as she swept him up in an almost bone-crushing hug. “It’s good to see you again.”
She giggled, pulling away and allowing him to go into the familiar arms of his mother and sister and give Big Daddy a firm handshake.
“Welcome to Maine,” he greeted.
“Oh honey let me look at you,” Eudora said, putting her hands on Neal’s shoulders and looking him up and down. “You’ve been eatin’ right? Getting enough sleep?”
Neal chuckled and hugged her again. “Yes Mama, I promise. Papa and Belle have been making sure of that.”
“How far is it to Storybrooke?” Tiana asked.
“About two hours, so if anyone has to pee I’d do it now. I’d also brace yourself for the temperature difference once we get outside.”
“Oh don’t worry about that, Neal. It was in the 50s in DC when we got our connecting flight.”
Neal scratched the back of his neck, thinking of the flurries he’d driven through to get to the airport. “Right. Yeah, the 50s.”
“You weren’t kiddin’ about the weather,” Eli said, shivering as they loaded Neal’s Jeep with the luggage and retreated into the warmth of the car.
Neal laughed. “Yeah, it’s taking a bit to adjust to. And they’re calling for snow tomorrow too. Not much, but enough to coat the ground.”
“Oh how fun!” Charlotte said, her knees bouncing. “I’ve never seen snow before!”
“Hopefully you’ll enjoy it then,” Neal chuckled, pulling out of the airport and beginning the scenic drive back to Storybrooke.
It took longer than the normal two hours to get back, with Charlotte and Tiana wanting to stop here or there to take pictures of the colors that lit up the trees, but they made it just as the sun went down, casting a dusky glow over Storybrooke as he pulled into the parking lot of Granny’s.
“You want typical diner food, this is the best place to come,” Neal said. “And… Emma’s working tonight.”
“Ooh! So we’ll get to meet your girlfriend?” Tiana teased.
“She’s not my girlfriend,” Neal replied, praying none of them noticed his flushed face as he sent a quick text to his father to tell them they’d made it to town safely.
“Not yet,” Charlotte’s sing-songy voice hummed as she pushed the door open, and Neal suddenly remembered just how it was to be surrounded by two sisters prodding into his business.
“Anywhere you like!” he heard Emma call.
They carefully put a couple of tables together, saving three for his father, Belle and Gideon, before Emma appeared.
“Neal, hi! This must be the New Orleans crowd you told me about,” she said, glancing at the others. “My name’s Emma and I’ll be your server today.”
“So you’re the famous Emma we’ve heard so much about. It’s so nice to meet you, honey,” Eudora said with a wide smile.
Emma grinned. “It’s nice to meet you too, Eudora. Neal’s told me so much about you guys.”
“Papa, Belle and Gideon are on their way too Emma,” Neal said. “Do you mind grabbing drinks for them too?”
“Iced tea, Coke and regular tea. I got it, Neal,” Emma chuckled. “I’ll give you guys some time to look over the menu.”
“Oh, she’s good,” Tiana said, her eyes wide as Emma retreated back to the kitchen. “You sure she isn’t interested in the restaurant business, Neal?”
Neal snorted. “Yeah, I’m pretty sure Tiana. She's studying criminal justice and wants to become a detective like her dad. Mama, who did you get to keep an eye on the restaurant while you guys are up here?”
“Ray and Evangeline. Figured another wife-husband duo would be good for the restaurant, and besides, they know how to whip the employees into shape,” she said with a small laugh. “But we decided to only do takeout orders the day before Thanksgiving. I’m hoping that will make things easier for the staff.”
“It’d sure make things easier on me,” Emma grumbled as she reappeared with the tray of drinks. “But Granny’s stubbornly set in her ways.”
“Granny?” Tiana asked.
Emma nodded toward the cash register, where Granny was overseeing a transaction from her wheelchair. “94 years old and still stubborn as the day is long. She’s an old family friend of my mom’s though, so I try not to complain too much around her. Oh! Hi Mr. and Mrs. Gold, Gideon! Do you guys need menus?”
“We know what we want, thank you Miss Nolan,” his father said, taking a seat next to Eudora as Emma set the tea in front of him. “We’ll take our usual orders.”
Emma nodded, departing again when Neal and the others gave their orders.
“How were your flights? Not too much trouble, I hope?” Aiden asked, sipping at his tea.
“Oh, not at all, the only big trouble was trying to navigate Reagan National. We got a little turned around and almost missed boarding,” Eli explained. “But otherwise it was smooth sailing, as they say.”
“Mrs. Gold?” Tiana asked. “What were you plannin’ on cooking for Thanksgiving? Because, I was wondering if I could make sweet potato pie.”
“Oh, we usually do the typical Thanksgiving feast. Turkey, stuffing, potatoes, salads. We would never turn you down if you wanted to make something,” Belle replied. “My father will be bringing mashed potatoes and Aiden’s mothers will be bringing vegetables.”
Tiana grinned. “Awesome! My daddy’s sweet potato pie is the best in New Orleans.”
“We can head to the Nolan’s farm tomorrow and see if they have sweet potatoes. I know Emma mentioned they have a lot of produce they still need to get rid of,” Neal said.
“We’ve gotten most of our produce from the Nolans since David took it over,” Aiden said with a soft smile. “David has really brought the farm back from the brink of bankruptcy. It’s like he has a magical touch for farming.”
“Ooh well, I can’t wait to see what sort of produce they have,” TIana said. “I love goin’ to the Farmer’s Market in New Orleans, so it’ll be a real treat to see a farm up close!”
Charlotte’s eyes turned dreamy. “Don’t you remember going to that farm in first grade? The horses were so pretty!”
“Lottie, you dared me to kiss a frog and it jumped on my head and wouldn’t let me go until the farmer managed to get it off. I’ve blocked out most of that field trip,” Tiana replied with a roll of her eyes. “Poppy called me the Frog Princess for a month!”
“You never did read that fairy tale again…” Eudora mused as the table broke out into soft laughter.
As the evening wound down and the group returned to the Gold house, Neal watched as the group splintered off into conversation.
His father, usually quiet and unassuming, sat with Eudora, looking at every photo she presented him - she had made copies of every single photo she had of or with Neal.
Belle, ever charming and worldly, was having an animated conversation with Charlotte and Eli about travel.
Gideon was with Neal and Tiana. Gideon, like their father, was at first quiet and unsure of the guests, but slowly began to come out of his shell, talking with Tiana about why food made the certain reactions it did when it was cooking.
The Gold household was full of laughter and light that night, each person going to bed with a smile on their face, and a small stomach cramp from laughing too hard.
The next day, Neal drove through the light dusting of snow up to Nolan farm with Tiana and Charlotte.
“Oh Neal, this town is just too cute! It’s like somethin’ out of a story! Oh! I know! I should do the top ten cutest small towns for my next blog!” Charlotte squealed.
“Lottie, you haven’t been to any other small towns,” Tiana laughed. “How are you gonna do that?”
Lottie bounced in her seat like a dog on its way to the park. “Then I’ll do the top ten cutest places in Storybrooke!”
“I’m sure Mayor Mills-Hood will be honored to put Storybrooke on the map,” Neal laughed as he pulled up to the farm. “Here we are.”
“Oh, hello Neal!” Mary-Margaret called, carrying a large basket of produce. “You must be here to pick up your dad’s order.”
Neal nodded. “Hi Mrs. Nolan, yeah, that’s right… but my sister was wondering if she could take a look around and see if there’s anything else she wants?”
“Of course. Were you looking for anything specific, Tiana?”
“Sweet potatoes. Mrs. Gold mentioned you have them.”
Mary-Margaret smiled. “We do. Let me take you to the greenhouse and show you.” She set the basket down on the table before leading the trio over to a large greenhouse. “David and Eva built this together to protect some of our plants. There are a lot that we tried to plant for years, but the climate here can be… unpredictable. But now we can with the greenhouse.”
“Mrs. Nolan, do you mind if I take pictures?” Charlotte asked. “Your farm is just so pretty!”
She hummed. “I suppose that’d be okay. Just don’t disturb any of the animals, alright?”
“I won’t, thank you!” Charlotte bounced on her toes before running off.
Mary-Margaret laughed softly, handing Tiana a couple of bags. “She’s sweet.”
“She’s a lot to handle sometimes, but she’s like my sister,” Tiana laughed. “Thank you so much for this Mrs. Nolan.”
“It’s no problem,” Mary-Margaret replied. “Oh, and Emma should be back soon if you wanted to say hi, Neal. She went to get breakfast with Lily and Alex.”
“Oh - okay.” He hoped the flush of his cheeks went unnoticed, or at least, was blamed on the sudden humidity of the greenhouse.
Tiana gave him a smug grin from behind a sweet potato plant and continued harvesting the sweet potatoes.
“Do you and your family have a big Thanksgiving, Mrs. Nolan?”
Mary-Margaret nodded. “Oh yes. It alternates between mine and my step-mother’s home, but we do love to do Thanksgiving in our family. And this year is even more special since Margot is home this year with her girlfriend.”
Neal gave her a weak smile. One day, he’d be comfortable announcing that bit to the town too. But for now it was safer to keep their relationship hidden. “I’m sure it was even more insane when Emma and all of them were kids, huh?”
“You have no idea,” Mary-Margaret laughed, shaking her head in amusement. “I can’t even tell you how many accidents we nearly had with the kids running through the kitchen when one of us was carrying a heavy pot.”
“Okay, I think I’ve got what I need!” Tiana announced, the bags full right to the top of sweet potatoes, green beans, peppers and berries. “If nothing else, some of these’ll make a great snack before we head back to New Orleans!”
“Here, Mrs. Nolan, I have the money for Papa’s order too,” Neal said, handing over the money his father had given him before they’d left.
“Thank you, I’ll be back with your things,” Mrs. Nolan said as the trio left the greenhouse and headed back in the direction of the farmhouse and driveway. “Oh - there are the girls now.”
Neal grinned, waving to Emma, Charlotte in an animated conversation with Lily.
“Lottie, come on! We need to head back to help Mrs. Gold!” Tiana called, adjusting the produce in the back seat as Neal got in the driver’s side.
He noticed the blush on Charlotte’s cheeks the moment he pulled onto the road back to his father’s.
“So how was the farm?” he asked casually.
“Oh… you know, it was nice. The sheep and the dog and the snow everywhere…” Charlotte replied, sounding wistful.
Tiana gave him another smug look as she glanced in the back. “And Emma’s friend? C’mon Charlotte, your cheeks are as pink as your gloves!”
“Okay, fine. Lily was not bad to look at either,” she admitted, looking down. “We gave each other our phone numbers.”
“That’s awesome, Lottie! I’m really happy for you.”
Neal grinned. “Lily’s a cool girl. Glad to see someone caught her eye.”
“Yeah… we’ll see where it goes. Oh Tia… this town really is magical,” Charlotte sighed. “Maybe we’ll find someone for you too!”
“Oh Lottie no, that’s - ”
“I mean it!” Charlotte declared, back to her normal self. “I found a princess, and I’m gonna find you a prince!”
The morning of Thanksgiving was nothing short of chaotic. Belle had everyone up bright and early, getting as much prepped for their meal as they could, before everyone hurried to the heart of the town for the parade.
It was a quaint thing, with the high school’s marching band leading the way as floats created by the other high school clubs were pulled down the road by whatever trucks they could find. Gideon was on one such float, for his science club - it was a giant vinegar and baking soda volcano that spewed out fall-colored liquids. Neal wasn’t sure how they’d managed to pull that off, but he was sure Gideon would be happy to answer.
What got the most buzz in the town though, was the float carefully built to the specifications of the decorating committee - the float pulling Marco in his Santa costume, nine reindeer suspended in the air greeting the cheers of children, while an unhappy-looking August waved to the crowd.
Charlotte was buzzing around taking photos of everything for her blog, happily chatting to anyone that caught her attention.
“You know, it’s almost like she’s at home here,” Eli mused. “I didn’t think I’d ever see her so happy outside of the big city like this.”
“That’s the charm of Storybrooke,” Aiden replied with a chuckle as Regina began her welcome speech from the small stage that had been set up. “It’s like a fairy tale.”
That evening, Neal settled between Tiana and Gideon as the group sat down at the large dining room table for dinner. His grandmothers, Anna and Isobel, sat across from him, serene smiles on their faces while his step-grandfather, Moe, looked a little tense, but relaxed when Eudora or Eli spoke to him.
He hadn’t known his grandparents growing up - all of them had died before his birth. Milah never spoke about them, but Killian would talk to him about his mother, Alice, saying nothing but praises about her.
“My only wish is that you and your cousin could have met her,” he’d said on more than one occasion. “She would have loved both of you.”
“I’d like to propose a toast,” his father said, rising to his feet and holding his wine glass with his free hand. “This past year has been extraordinary, and we are fortunate to be able to celebrate this Thanksgiving with more of us than ever before. Though the circumstances were less than favorable, I believe things happen for a reason, and fate brought us together for a reason. We have our Baelfire back, and new family members to welcome to our heart. This year, I am grateful for that. To our family.”
“To family,” the rest of the table echoed, clinking their glasses together.

The weekend after the night Lena kissed you and you became somewhat of a couple, not like the two of you had talked about it, you were sitting in the library since you were studying for a test, you not hearing someone come up behind you since you had your headphones in until they touched your shoulders, causing you to jump and nearly throw your laptop off your lap “Damnit, Kara You nearly gave me a heart attack” you said, pulling your headphones out as you tried to steady your breathing and watching as she took the seat next to you “Sorry, you seemed super into whatever you’re working on” Kara chuckled, setting her bag down and looking at you “So, Alex wants us to go out with her tonight… There’s a concert happening tonight, and she wants you to invite Lena” she said, looking at you as she pulled out her book “You sure you’re cool with hanging out with her?” You asked, raising an eyebrow as you resituated on the couch you were sitting on “Of course, just cause she’s a teacher doesn’t mean she doesn’t know how to party… Plus, I can tell her all my stories about you” Kara said, smirking when you blushed bright red and looked at her “You wouldn’t” you said, giving her a glare when she smirked “Oh I would” Kara chuckled, opening her book to get started on studying while you pulled your phone out of your bag.
Hey, you free tonight? – You
What do you have in mind? – Lena <3
Well… Kara invited me to this concert tonight and she wanted me to invite you – You
Your friends want to meet me? – Lena <3
Yeah… Is that a bad thing? – You
Can I call you? – Lena <3
You raised an eyebrow when you saw that and once again pulled your headphones out “I’ll be right back” you told Kara, setting your laptop down before getting up and heading outside, hitting the call button and standing silently for a moment before Lena picked up “Hey” she said, causing you to smile “Hey, so what’s up?” You asked, leaning back against the building and watching as a squirrel ran around in search of dropped food “So your friends really want to meet me? Even though I’m a professor, more so yours and Alex’s professor” Lena said, you hearing a door shut and figuring that Mon-El was home since you knew they lived together “Yeah! Kara is a little too excited about sharing my stories” you said, groaning slightly when you heard her give a small chuckle “Then I’ll come, Mon-El should be gone in an hour… I’ll pick you up in two?” Lena asked, sitting down at her desk with a smile on her face and you smiled as well “Sure, but the concert doesn’t start until tonight” you pointed out, messing with the hem of your shirt and shivering a bit since it had just gotten colder to the point where you needed a jacket “Is it a crime to want to seem my girl?” Lena asked, you able to tell she was smirking just by the tone of her voice “Well, no… But-“ you stuttered, blushing bright red and getting cut off by Lena “Good, see you then” she said before hanging up, you standing outside for a moment longer to center yourself before you headed back inside.
After studying for about an hour and a half longer, you looked at the time and sighed before stretching and putting your laptop away “What’s the rush?” Kara teased, looking at you and pushing her glasses back up her nose “Lena is picking me up in thirty minutes, I want to go to the dorm and freshen up, thank you” you said, zipping up your bag before standing up and throwing it over your shoulder “Oooooooooh, don’t have too much fun and stay off my bed!” Kara said, being a little too loud with the last statement as you walked towards the exit, blushing for the millionth time that day “See you later, Kara!” you called back, giving a quick wave before you headed off.
After you had gotten back to the dorm, you set your bag down before heading off to take a quick shower, dressing up in Y/F/C plaid button-up shirt and a pair of black skinny jeans with Y/F/C vans “Bam” you said, looking at yourself in the tall mirror you and Kara had in your room and running a hand through your H/L H/C hair to try to fix it up a bit before you felt your phone vibrate in your pocket with a message telling you Lena was there “Just in time” you said, fixing your clothes a bit before you grabbed your jacket and headed out.
You smiled when you walked out of the dorm building and saw Lena sitting in her car, you quickly slipping in before she drove off and you buckled up “Hey” you said, looking at her after you settled in “Hey, you look good” Lena said, smiling at you before she focused on the road “Thanks, you look amazing as always… So, where are we going?” You asked, looking at her and smiling when she reached over and took your hand “Late lunch before the concert” Lena said, smiling some as you laced your fingers together and pulling into a parking lot about 15 minutes later “This looks… Expensive” you said, looking at the restaurant and knowing you couldn’t afford this “Don’t worry about it” Lena said, giving you a small smile before she got out of the car, leaving you to sigh and shake your head before getting out as well.
After you were sat down at a table, you let yourself look around some “This place isn’t what I thought it’d be” you chuckled, the outside being much fancier than the inside “I told you not to worry” Lena chuckled, glancing at you from over the top of her menu before she focused on figuring out what she was getting. Once you placed your orders, you got back into conversation when you felt your phone vibrating “One sec” you said, standing up and heading outside to take the call ‘Unknown Caller’ your screen read, but something made you answer it “Hello?” You answered, raising an eyebrow when you heard heavy breathing “I warned you, bitch” the person said before hanging up, you looking around with slightly wide eyes to try to see if anyone was around that would say that, you stuffing your phone in your pocket and taking a deep breath “It’s nothing Y/N… Nothing is going to happen” you muttered to yourself as you headed back into the restaurant, waving off Lena’s concerned look and sitting back down.
When you finished eating, you were both back in the car and Lena looked at you “Talk to me” she said, her being worried about you since you’d been off since the phone call “Just some person pranking me… It’s nothing to worry about” you said, looking at her and doing your best to give her a reassuring smile “If you’re sure” Lena said, obviously not believing you but she let it go.
About thirty minutes later, you guys made it to the venue and you opened the door for her with a smile, your jacket tied around your waist and walking with her to the entrance “Y/N!!!” Kara shouted, running over to you and tackling you in a hug “You literally saw me a few hours ago” you chuckled, patting Kara’s back and laughing as she pulled back “Lena… It’s nice to finally meet you, I’m Kara, this is Alex and her girlfriend Maggie” Kara said, gesturing to everyone and Lena smiled “Nice to finally meet you all” Lena said, smiling as she wrapped an arm around you before you guys went to stand in line to get in.
“Finally” you said when you guys found your spots, your face flushed from listening to Kara and Alex tell Lena all about your stupid moments “Oh! Have you heard about the time they-“ Kara said before you covered her mouth “That’s enough story time” you said, chuckling nervously as you took Lena’s hand and led her to your seats “I think it’s all cute” Lena said, pressing a kiss to your cheek and causing you to blush more, you opening your mouth to say something when the announcer spoke into the microphone “Welcome everyone, lets get started” he said, smiling at the crowd.
As the concert went on, pretty much everyone was out of their seats and dancing, you looking over just in time to see Lena give a small shiver since the venue was outdoors “Here” you said, taking untying your jacket from your waist and draping it across her shoulders and grinning when you saw her blush “Thank you” she said, pressing a small kiss to your lips and the two of you jumping apart when you heard what sounded like a gunshot and you cried out as you clutched your side, collapsing into Lena’s arms “Y/N!” Lena shouted, helping you lay down with your head in her lap while your friends surrounded you “Someone help!” You heard Alex shout, looking around and their voices starting to sound like they were under water, you looking up at Lena and able to tell she was saying something but you couldn’t hear what as you closed your eyes, almost not feeling the vibration of your phone in your back pocket before you passed out from the pain and blood loss.
You got lucky this time… Next time, I won’t miss - Unknown

Game Night Shenanigans
Kara Danvers x Fem Reader
Tumblr media
Requested by @pixelbxychoices
Kara x Fem reader where Kara and reader have been married just over a year and are having a girls night with Alex, Maggie, Lena, Nia, and Sam.
A/N- They all know Kara is Supergirl and that Nia is Dreamer
Warnings- Mentions of alcohol and drinking
(Y/N)- Your Name
(L/N)- Last Name
(E/C)- Eye Color
You were excited for tonight. You and Kara were hosting girls night and, thankfully, everyone had managed to get the time off from their jobs and Sam had found a babysitter for Ruby. You had run out quickly though to go and get more snacks before everyone came over because your wife (it's been a year and you still couldn't get over the fact that Kara was your wife) had begun to eat all the snacks you had set out. You should have expected that though, Supergirl had had a busy day. After getting back home with all the snacks you had bought you found Kara sitting on the couch with Alex arguing. You smiled and shook your head before Maggie, Lena, Nia, and Sam came over to you.
"What are they arguing over this time?" You asked the group as you gave them all hugs. They all laughed.
"What aren't they arguing about is the better question." Maggie told you and you laughed as you nodded agreeing with her. They were always arguing over something wether it be food, games, or something else.
"Kara honey quit arguing with your sister and go get the games." You told her. Kara looked up at you and smiled. God her smile always made the room light up. She used her super speed to get the games and bring them out to the living room. You shook your head at her and chuckled softly. She looked up at you her ocean blue eyes meeting your beautiful (E/C) eyes. You walked over to her and kissed her cheek before they both sat down on the couch.
"Alright so what game are we playing first?" You asked everyone.
"Monopoly." -Alex
"Charades." -Kara
"Candyland"-Nia
You and the rest of the girls laughed. Oh it was going to be an interesting night. Kara, Alex, and Nia were all arguing with each other about why their game is better than the others. You set your hand on Karas knee trying to gain her attention away from the argument going on. She glanced over at you and you raised your eyebrow at her. She pouted at you but you just smiled.
"Honey, how about we wait for charades till those of us who can get drunk are at least slightly tipsy. You know it makes the game more fun especially for you." You told Kara. She laughed but agreed with you.
"Whipped." Alex whispered. Kara glared at her as everyone, including you, laughed.
"Just means I love my wife. I don't see what's wrong with that. Besides you're whipped for Maggie so ha." Kara taunted to Alex.
"Damn Kara call her out." Nia said. You rolled your eyes. You were now remembering why it had been so long since the last girls night. Once Kara, Alex, and Nia started it was nearly impossible to get them to stop. You and everyone else let out a sigh before Maggie went and got the bottle of scotch she had brought over and 4 glasses.
"I knew this would come in handy tonight." Maggie joked as she poured some for you, herself, Lena, and Sam.
"I would say let's play a game where every time one of them acts insulted, insults one of the others, or Kara and Nia brings their superpowers into the argument we take a drink but I would rather not die of alcohol poisoning within the hour." Lena said. You and the 2 others busted out laughing.
"Yea some of us actually need our livers to function properly." Sam said once she managed to stop laughing. You nodded in agreement with her.
"Psshh whatever. My liver is made of steel you both just need to work up to mine and Lenas level." Maggie said. You snorted and took a sip of the scotch.
"Yea no thanks I'd like to live to see the age of 50." Sam said teasingly. Maggie and Lena pretended to be offended.
"That hurts Sam, that hurts." Maggie told Sam. Sam just shrugged with a small smile on her face.
"Well the truth can be painful sometimes." You said. Sam laughed and you gave each other a high five. The four of you hadn't even realized that the 2 Danvers sisters and Nia (who lets be honest is an honorary danvers sister) had stopped arguing to had tuned into what the four of you were saying. They were silently laughing and Kara and Alex were watching you and Maggie.
"Little (L/N) how could you? I thought we were cool." Maggie asked you pretending to be wounded.
"Well first of all Maggie my last name isn't (L/N) anymore, its Danvers. Rookie mistake." You shook your head fake disappointment in your voice as you tsked. "Second not my fault you can't handle the truth me and Sam are speaking." You said with a smirk on your face. Maggie put a hand over her heart and gasped.
"Thats just cold Little Danvers wife." Maggie said. You laughed and shook your head. You had honestly missed this. Nights like this spent with all of them. You really should do this more often you thought. Eventually the night continued on and you, Lena, and Maggie ended up getting drunk after trying to see who could drink the most. Honestly a horrible decision on your part. Sam had wanted no part in the contest and Alex wanted to stay sober enough to remember any potential blackmail material that came from this. You had managed to keep up with Maggie and Lena for the most part but when you started seeing two of Kara you decided it was time to tap out. Maggie and Lena ended up decking that they were both won. Alex got out her camera as you began to try and flirt with Kara. Nia was having the time of her life watching you trying to be smooth and completely failing. Everyone knew that you, Maggie, and Lena would end up regretting the drinking contest in the morning but for now they all just enjoyed as all three of you embarrassed yourselves. Alex managed to get almost all of your guys drunken antics on camera. All in all girls night was a success and Maggie, Lena, and you woke up the next morning on the floor in the kitchen with no recollection of what happened after the drinking contest.
A/N- This may not have been what you had wanted exactly but this is what came to mind when I thought of a girls night between all of the amazing women lol hope you enjoy. Sorry it took a little bit longer than normal to get this out. I'm struggling slightly but I promise all prompts will eventually be fulfilled. Thank you all for your understanding and patience.

Alex Danvers x Reader x Older Sister!Wonder Woman - Little Puppy
Tumblr media
Requested by Anon - May I please request Alex x reader, where reader is wonder woman's little sister. R is introduced to everyone and immediately feels drawn to Alex and trys to court her. Alex thinks R is beautiful, strong and incredibly adorable like an excited puppy and can't help but accept. Which leads to cute fluffy moments and maybe some heated moments, as well as a talk from a protective big sister much to the embarrassment of a flustered R.
Warning - Naaaahhhhhhh
Remember you can send in requests!
Growing up on Themyscira, life was almost perfect. You’d think that growing up as the princess of the island would be amazing...but no. You always grew up in your sister's shadow, Diana was the perfect daughter. Yes, your mother did love you, but you knew she loved Diana more. You were sad when she left with Steve Trevor, but you knew that Diana was headstrong and would find a way to leave if your mother forbade her.
Diana said goodbye to you before she left, and promised to contact you when Ares was defeated. That time came many years later. Diana had managed to send you a message through the barrier separating Themyscira from Man’s world. She told you that she had defeated Ares and that it was safe for you to see her again.
You left Themyscira without so much as a goodbye to your mother, she didn't care for you when Diana was gone why should you care for her? You were on a boat, sailing towards Man’s world to see your sister again, excited and scared. When you saw Man’s world for the first time, to say you were in awe was an understatement. Man’s world was more technologically advanced then Themyscira was, but was also more confusing with all the large buildings that dotted the landscape. You met Diana in a place called France. “Diana!” You called. She smiled and waved you over. You weaved through everyone and wrapped your big sister in a tight hug. You squealed when she picked you up and spun you around.
“(Y/N).” Diana said, setting you back on your feet. “I have missed you.”
“As have I.” Diana wrapped a sort of cloak around your shoulders, buttoning it up at the front. “What is this?”
“People here do not wear garments like on Themyscira.”
“Oh...Is that why you are wearing what you are?” “I will help you get acquainted with Man’s world, I promise you.” You nodded with a smile.
Tumblr media
You had been in Man’s world for almost a year. You had yet to meet Diana’s friends and were so excited that you’d actually get to meet them. You were practically bouncing off the walls. “Calm down.” Diana laughed.
“But I can not!” You told her, “I am meeting your friends, is that not a huge deal in Man’s World?” Just after you had finished speaking, a woosh sounded and two figures landed in the living room, a girl with long blonde and a brunette with short hair. The blonde placed her the other girl down.
“Kara.” Diana greeted, walking over to the blonde and hugging her. After they finished the hug, Diana stepped back, “Kara, this is my younger sister, (Y/N).” Diana gestured to you.
“Hi.” Kara said with a smile, “I’m Kara, and this is my big sister Alex.” Your eyes looked over to the brunette and your heart skipped a beat. Alex had the most stunning brown eyes you had seen that drew you in like a moth to a flame. Her hair gently brushed her shoulders as she turned to you. When you were caught, you quickly averted your eyes, your cheeks burning.
When Alex saw you, she knew you were special. When she had met Maggie, it wasn't like anything she felt at that very moment. Diana saw the look on her your face and turned to Kara, “Come on, I need to tell you something private.” Diana then took hold Kara’s arm and pulled her out of the room. You watched them leave with a look of betrayal. Diana simply gave you a thumbs up and closed the door.
“I would like to introduce myself to you if that is alright.” You said, looking back at Alex. “My name is (Y/N) Prince.” You stuck your hand out to the brunette. “It's a pleasure to meet you.”
“Alex Danvers.” Alex greeted, taking your hand, “And the pleasure is all mine. I hear you and your sister are princesses.” You took your hand out of Alex’s and looked away,
“Not anymore. Mother said that if we were to ever leave Themyscira we would be stripped of our titles. I left not too long ago but Diana has been here since...your first world war I believe.”
“Wow.” Alex looked over to the door where Kara and Diana had left by. “She doesn't look a day over thirty.”
“Perks of being a Demigoddess.” You muttered under your breath.
“How old are you?”
“Me? Well...on Themyscira, when an Amazonian comes of age, they stop aging. Since I have come to Man’s world, Diana has noticed that I have aged. So, in Amazonian years, I would be just over eight-hundred years old. But here in Man’s world, I would be...twenty-five.”
“(Y/N)!” Diana called from the direction of the kitchen. “What?” You shouted back.
“Πιστεύετε ότι ο Alex και ο Kara θα ήθελαν να ακούσουν κάποιες ιστορίες για σας ως παιδί? (Do you think Alex and Kara would like to hear some stories about you as a child?)” Your eyes widened and you ran out of the room,
“Αν τους πεις τίποτα Diana, θα σε στείλω προσωπικά στον Τάρταρο! (If you tell them anything Diana, I will personally send you to Tartarus!)” You shrieked. Alex followed you out of the room to the kitchen where you were clinging to Diana, begging her not to share any embarrassing childhood stories.
“Do you know what they said?” Kara asked as she stepped up next to Alex.
“I have no idea.” Alex replied, watching you with a small smile.
Tumblr media
You had been hanging out with Alex for a while after your first meeting. It escalated from casual talks when she and Kara would visit, to you actually going to America to visit her, and her to come visit you in France. “I want to move to National City.” You said to Diana one day. Diana had to stop what she was doing to look at you.
“What?” She questioned.
“I want to move to National City.” You repeated.
“Why?”
“I love Paris, I truly do, but I feel as if I am trapped. I stay at home most of the time, and whenever you have a day off you take me to another museum.”
“Are you sure?” Diana confirmed, her eyes slightly scrunched. “One hundred percent sure?”
“Yes, I'm sure. I wouldn’t have bought it up if I wasn’t one hundred percent sure.” Diana sighed, closing her eyes for a second before opening them. She stood and walked over to you placing her hands on your shoulders.
“I may be your big sister, but I can not choose your path.” You looked up at Diana in confusion, “You can go.” A large smile appeared on your face.
“Really?” Diana nodded. You squealed and glomped her in a hug. “Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!”
Tumblr media
When you had gotten to National City, you realised you had no place to stay, and you were screwed. Luckily, Kara had put in a good word with one of her friends, and had landed you not only a job but a roommate. You had heard stories of Lex Luthor second hand from Diana, but his little sister Lena was quite the opposite. She was kind and wicked smart, but she has nothing on you. “So you're telling me that Diana Prince is your older sister?” Lena asked. The two of you were going over to Kara’s for an annual ‘Game Night’.
“She is.” You stated as you walked up to Kara’s door, “She’s never let me leave France until just recently. Hence, my appearance in America.” You knocked on the door, and in a second, Alex opened it with a smile,
“Lena, (Y/N), your here. Come in.” Alex greeted, stepping to the side so you both could walk in. You smiled at Alex as you walked inside, instantly getting wrapped in a bear hug from the Girl of Steel.
“(Y/N)!” Kara squealed. “I’m so glad you could make it! Let me introduce you to everyone.” Kara let go of you and dragged you over to the couch area where people were gathered. “Ok, this is J’onn, Brainy, Nia and James.” You got a chorus of hello’s in greeting.
“It's nice to meet you all.” You said with a smile of your own, “My name’s (Y/N) Prince.” Game Night was super fun. Playing board games, the Danvers Sisters dominating, James being a sore loser, and having a great time overall. When the excitement died down, everyone started to leave. James and Lena left together, then Brainy and J’onn left. You and Alex left together. She had offered to escort you home. After you had fought for a minute, you realised that Alex wouldn't let up and you reluctantly let her walk you home. As you were walking, Alex looked like the cat that got the cream. “I had a really fun night tonight.” You admitted.
“Yeah.” Alex laughed, “It was more interesting tonight.” “Why’s that?” You asked, tilting your head.
“Because you were there.” A blush spread over your cheeks.
“That’s not true.” You protested.
“No, it was.” Alex paused in the middle of the street, causing you to as well. “I enjoy your company.” You looked up the building you were at.
This is me.” You said softly. You quickly kissed her cheek, “I’ll see you later.” You escaped into your apartment building, Alex smiling at your retreating figure.
“She is adorable…” Alex muttered as she turned and walked back to her apartment. “Like an excited puppy…”

Accidental Discoveries
Um, Kara x KateKane/Batwoman? More or less, Maggie and Alex finding out they're together and losing their minds (especially Alex)
A/n tumblr ate the prompt so I'm not sure who to tag but I hope everyone likes it.
Tumblr media
----------
Kara stepped through the breach and into a large dark office. She looked around the office, turning when the door slammed open. She caught a metal bat flying towards her face, and looked towards the woman in the doorway.
“Hey batsy,” Kara quipped, grinning when the woman stepped out of the shadows and put her gun away.
“Damn it, Kara.” Kate Kane shot a withering glare, only making Kara smile wider. “Give me a warning next time.”
Kara practically bounced over, taking Kate into her arms. “I would’ve but,” Kara paused as she pulled away and tried not to grin even more. “It would have ruined the surprise.”
Kate raised an eyebrow, protesting quietly when Kara told her to get dressed. Five minutes later, Kate returned back into her office, adjusting her leather jacket as Kara fiddled with a figurine. Kara turned around at the clearing of Kate's throat, face flushing at being caught.
Kara’s face flushed more as she took in Kate standing in the shadowy office; her combat boots, ripped black jeans, a band shirt and her leather jacket. Shaking her head, Kara took the woman's hand and pulled her through the breach and into her apartment in National City.
Before the breach got a chance to close, Kara had already sped away and put on a simple blouse and jeans. She reappeared in front of Kate, grinning as she exclaimed,
“Happy five month anniversary!”
Behind Kara, her table was set up with burning candles, food was warm in the oven and the lights were dimmed. “I figured that instead of going out,” Kara shyly began as she took her girlfriend’s hand and led her to the table. “We could stay in, have dinner, and then watch movies. How does that sound?”
“Perfect,” Kate murmured as she kissed Kara.
---------
Halfway through dinner and most of the way through a bottle of wine Kara’s apartment door slammed open. Two figures stormed in as Kate shot up and drew her gun. “Put the gun down!” one of the figures yelled.
Kate merely glared, standing her ground as Kara stood up. “Alex?” Kara called out, cutting through the tension in the apartment.
“Kara, you alright?” Alex asked, not taking her eyes off Kate.
“Yeah. Rao, please can you all put the guns away? I’d rather not have more bullet holes in my home.” Seeing that Alex wouldn’t unless Kate did, Kara rested her hand on her girlfriends shoulder. With one last glare Kate put her gun away. “Alex.” Kara warned, silently imploring her sister. Alex sighed and put away her gun, the other woman following suite.
Flicking on the light, Alex turned back to her sister. “Who the hell is this?” Alex demanded, no less suspicious of the woman before her. “You haven’t been answering your phone, I was worried Kara! No one has seen you in the last few hours and Winn couldn’t trace your phone. What if something had happened? What if you got hurt and I couldn’t help you? I thought you had gotten kidnapped by Cadmus or someone else, and then the DEO detected a breach in your apartment.” Alex took a deep breathe, finished with her monologue and now slightly calmer.
“Alex, I’m sorry. I turned my phone off so we wouldn’t be interrupted. Alex, this is my girlfriend Kate. Kate, this is Alex, my sister and her girlfriend Maggie.” After Kara finished the introductions Maggie was grinning like the cheshire and Alex looked like she was about to go on another rant, eyes practically bugging out of her head.
Taking in the woman before her and the table behind them, Alex started to freak out again. Girlfriend? She thought Kara was straight. Before Alex could talk, Maggie grabbed her shoulders and led her to the door.
“Tell you what guys, I’m gonna take Alex home while you guys finish your date and tomorrow we will talk about this, alright?”
Kara rapidly nodded, thankful for the out. She watched as Maggie led Alex through the door, stopping to give her a thumbs up before the door closed, leaving Kara and Kate with their cold dinner.
Seeing Kara’s expression, Kate took her hand and guided her back to the table. “Don’t stress on it, love,” Kate whispered, hands sliding to her girlfriends waist as Kara put her arms around Kate. “How about we put the food away, watch some romcoms and go to bed?”
Kara nodded, putting Alex in the back of her mind as she kissed Kate. Soon settling to cuddle and watch movies, food put away and worries pushed back.
---------------
Closing the apartment door Maggie turned to her girlfriend who was still looking stressed. “Alex.” At her name, Alex turned her head. “Why is this bothering you so much?”
“I don’t know!” Alex exclaimed, tears pricking her eyes. “Why didn’t she tell me? Does she not trust me?”
“Babe, of course she trusts you. She was probably worried you’d freak out like you are now.” Maggie took Alex in her arms, consoling her. “Let’s go to bed, and we’ll deal with it tomorrow.” Settling into Maggie’s arms, Alex let out a sigh and tried to sleep.
--------
Kara was currently pacing in her living room, while Kate was watching in mild amusement. You wouldn’t guess it just by looking at her, but Kate was freaking out just as much as her girlfriend.
With a heavy sigh, Kara plopped down on the couch next to Kate. “Kara--” Kate was cut off by knocking on the door. Seeing that Kara was looking like a deer in the headlights, Kate got up and answered the door. The door opened to reveal Alex and Maggie, Kate stepped aside and let the couple in. Before she could close the door, Maggie grabbed Kate’s upper arm.
“Hey, Kara? Me and Kate are gonna go get food,” not waiting for an answer Maggie gestured for Kate to leave, following her and closing the door behind them. Kara turned and looked at her sister, worried for what would come.
“Alex,” Kara grimaced at how scratchy her voice sounded. “I’m sorry I didn’t tell you, I wanted to be sure it would last first.”
“It’s fine, I was just,” Alex took a deep breath before she continued, “I was worried... That you didn’t trust me. You usually tell me everything.”
“It’s not that I don’t trust you, I was just worried. I was supposed to be straight!” Kara exclaimed then continued softly, “but I’m not.. I didn’t want Eliza to blame you.”
“If she blames me, then we’ll deal with it then, but I’m proud of you Kara,” Alex glanced to the door before continuing in a soft tone. “Does she make you happy?”
“Yeah.” The answer came out in a sigh of relief. “Are you gonna give her the ‘talk’?”  Before Alex could answer, the door opened to reveal the Danvers’ girlfriends. Shooting a grin at Kara, Alex took the food from Maggie and gestured for Kate to follow her. As they disappeared into the kitchen Kara groaned and plopped onto the couch, a crack following the action.
--------
As Kate got down the plates, Alex steeled herself. However, before she got the chance Kate sighed and said, without turning to look at her,
“Alex, if you’re going to give me the ‘shovel talk’ I would prefer you do before our girlfriends come looking for their food.” Alex raised her eyebrows, if Kate knew what was coming then how many other times had she already heard this?
“Well obviously you know what I’m gonna say so I’m not gonna bother. Just know that I am capable of making you disappear.” and without another word she left the kitchen, leaving Kate to grab the plates and follow.
As Kate set the plates down and joined her girlfriend on the couch, Kara suddenly lit up. “We should make it a girls night!” As Kate looked over and saw the smile on Alex’s face, she knew she’d be alright.

Can Kara coax Y/N back into the world that once so   terrified her, and show her the true meaning of care and submission?

Kara raised her hand, poised to knock, but before her fist had even struck the door, it swung open, inward. She took a step back.
The woman in the doorway wasn’t exceptionally tall, though by seventeen-year-old Kara Zor-el’s standards, anyone was tall if they were over five foot. And it wasn’t so much her height, but the way she held that height, looking almost regal as she studied Kara with one hand holding the door.
“Kara, is it?”
Her voice wasn’t at all what Kara expected, and it was a hobby of hers to study voices. She knew that not every voice was as superb and talented as hers, but a Dominant ought to have, well, a dominant voice. This woman’s voice wasn’t thin, but it wasn’t rich either. Nasally, but with a strength and command that Kara couldn’t help but shiver as she nodded.
Wait, no. Nodding wasn’t good. She cleared her throat.
“Y-yes, Ma’am.”
There was no question in Kara’s mind who this woman was, and the respect that she was to be given.
She smirked. “Very good. Come with me.”
She turned on her heel and walked into the house, seemingly not even caring whether Kara was following behind or not, and Kara realized it was because she expected her to follow behind. Which she did, and it gave her ample time to somewhat study the woman with whom she’d be spending her next few days.
She had dark hair that nearly reached her shoulders and curled in loose waves around her ears, and she was wearing a blue silk blouse with a black (very tight, Kara noticed, and she swallowed hard) skirt. Black pantyhose and black heels completed the ensemble; her heels sounded noisily on the marble of her foyer as she stopped, and turned to Kara.
She nodded at her. “Kneel.”
It was a simple command, one that Kara had known to expect, the only command that she expected. And it went against everything Kara knew about herself. This was not who she was, she was not meant to kneel for someone, anyone. But she also knew that this was why she was here, this is what she had to learn. Her cheeks flushed crimson, and she knelt.
She didn’t realize her gaze had lowered until she saw the same black heels come to rest next to her, and she felt a soft hand in her hair, stroking gently.
“Excellent, little one. Now we can begin.”
“Kara, sit.” She turned, and, seeing Kara’s hesitation, smirked. “Please.”
Kara rolled her eyes and sat on the plush red couch, crossing her legs. She accepted the glass of wine that was handed to her, and smiled when the other woman sat next to her, so close their knees were touching.
“It’s so good to see you, Lena.”
“Don’t think I didn’t catch you rolling your eyes at me. That ought to land you over my lap.”
Kara nearly choked on the wine, and fought not to roll her eyes yet again when Lena patted her back, laughing in triumph. “I haven’t been over your lap in years.”
“Well then we have a lot of catching up to do, don’t we, little one?”
“Lena!” Kara finally laughed herself. “Stop that, or else your girl might get upset with us both.” She looked around, searching for any sign of the submissive Lena had had for the last year. “Where is she, anyway?”
“Oh,” Lena mused, running her index finger over the rim of her wine glass before taking a sip, “She’s a little tied up at the moment.” Her eyes glinted mischievously at Kara.
Kara shook her head, then suddenly grew serious, leaning into Lena. “I’ve missed you,” she said, a bit of disbelief creeping into her voice. She hadn’t given it a second thought, but now, sitting next to the woman, Kara realized just how much she’d missed the comfort and companionship. “Don’t let me go another year without seeing you. I’m sorry,” she added regretfully.
Lena kissed the top of her head, a gesture left over from Kara’s training years ago. “I could have called you just as easily as you could have called me,” she admitted. She pushed gently until Kara sat up fully so she could look at her. “Are you alright?” she asked, and Kara smiled to see the old concern return to her friend’s face.
Could she really call Lena a friend? She could call her her Domme, but aside from a week when she was 17, that had never been true for Kara. She could call her a lover, but that had been over long ago, too. Maybe a mother figure, but given the other two options that was just too weird. Mentor, perhaps. Confidante. No, friend worked. It had endured ever since Kara had first set foot (and knee) in Lena’s mansion on the edge of town.
“I’m fine,” Kara answered, smiling to show Lena she was telling the truth, because if there was anyone who could see through her just as well as her daddies, it was Lena. “But I’m not here just as a friend. I need your help. Or your advice, something.”
It felt like she was 17 years old again, then, as Kara sat and spilled everything to Lena: about the House, about Y/N, about Finn. One thing she loved about Lena was that Lena knew when was best to let her ramble, and when was best to interrupt her, and to her credit, she didn’t interrupt at all while Kara was speaking. Kara watched as she talked, saw Lena nod her head as she made soft humming noises of sympathy, and saw the woman’s hand tighten around the wineglass when she spoke of how brutally Finn had treated Y/N. Everything tumbled out about Alex's reluctance; Y/N’s fear of being alone with people like Brainy; how she’d reacted when Maggie had gotten herself in trouble with her Ma'am. Still, she couldn’t help but smile proudly when she told of Y/N’s progress learning how to walk again, or of them going shopping together. She found herself blushing and looking away from Lena as she recounted how Y/N had gotten her a flower from the vendor, how Y/N had said she was special. Part of Kara was aware that Y/N just might not like her telling a complete stranger – well, to Y/N, anyway – her story, but if there was one person Kara trusted, it was Lena. Sitting in her car just minutes earlier in the parking lot to Mount Overland House, Kara had realized that of all the people in the world who might be able to help her help Y/N, it was the woman who had put her on her knees when she was seventeen years old.
Not much had changed since then; Lena was the same as ever, perhaps with more laugh lines than she used to have. But she was still strong and constant, and the connection with Kara was such that it was like they hadn’t been apart for a year, but only a few seconds. Lena’s house was still gorgeous and rich, with its marble floors and double staircase leading to the second floor. She remembered most everything in the house, as if she’d never left it. Kara knew nearly every room of the house – intimately – and aside from the one spanking she’d received that week, each room held a cherished memory. Kara knew that most Dominants rarely went back to the people and places of their training, but for some reason her connection with Lena had held, even after her training was complete. And Dominants didn’t usually start love affairs with the people who had trained them, either. Still, she hadn’t stopped contact even when that had ended, two years ago. She knew she wasn’t a submissive, knew she could never be, but there was something about being with Lena that made Kara feel… different. It was safe, a chance to be on equal and-yet-not ground with someone, a chance to be both Dominant and also taken care of by someone who knew more than she did, had more experience. It was that experience and knowledge that had her looking helplessly at Lena, as she finished telling her Y/N’s story.
“Well,” Lena said, finishing her drink and setting the empty glass on the coffee table. She shook her head and wrinkled her nose in disgust. “I’d advocate castration but it doesn’t sound like he has all that much to begin with.”
Kara snorted. “It’s not him I’m worried about; I’ll let the government deal with him. Though we know how well that works. It’s Y/N who has my concern.”
“It’s you I’m concerned about,” Lena said, casting Kara a knowing look. “You seem to be quite easily jumping into this, Kara, and that’s something you can’t do.”
“I’m not-“
“Don’t interrupt me, please.”
“Yes, Ma’am.”
Lena stood up, beginning to pace across the floor in front of Kara, a movement that told Kara one of two things: she was angry, or she was deep in thought. Possibly both. She briefly wondered about Lena’s girl, who was “tied up at the moment.” Kara hoped she hadn’t interrupted anything; that would be embarrassing. Then she wondered if Lena was using the silk ties, and she blinked, trying to return herself to the situation at hand.
“Kara.”
And there it was, that power to make her shiver, that power that she wondered if she herself held. A power that all Dominants were told that they should hold, that they should use and be proud of. The ability to make all thoughts stop, just at the sound of a name, delivered quietly and with command. A tone that brooked no interruption, no disobedience, nothing but complete, utter compliance and devotion. It was the sound and its delivery that had Kara ducking her head and lifting her eyes to pay attention to the woman stood in front of her, her hands on her hips.
“Do you remember what it was like, that first day with me?”
“You’re scared.”
From her position on the floor at her feet, Kara wondered how Miss Lena knew. Was she trembling? She dared to slightly lift her hand and look at it; she was. But then Miss Lena took her hand and gently placed it back on Kara’s knee. Form was important, she had told Kara just a few seconds earlier, and it was even more important that it was maintained.
Kara forced herself not to nod her answer. “I’m scared, Miss Lena,” she agreed.
“Why?”
The Dominant – her Dominant’s – voice was calm and soft, and for a moment it confused the girl kneeling for her. Wasn’t a Dominant supposed to be stern and exacting? Oh, the books from school stressed sustaining a balance, but there was also more emphasis placed on order and obedience. But this Dominant… was being nice.
“Answer me, Kara. Why are you scared of me?”
“Because you could hurt me.” Kara’s voice was tiny, barely above a whisper as she spoke the thing she had been most afraid of in the days leading up to her training.
Her fathers had simply kissed her, said they would see her in a week, as they left her standing with her suitcase on the doorstep of Miss Lena’s house. She knew the rules for her training said that parents weren’t to coddle or coo over their children at the moment training was to begin, because that would set the wrong tone. But she couldn’t help wanting a hug or a kiss, some reassurance besides “see you in a week” that she’d make it out of this alive.
She was a Domme. She had the mark on her ribs to prove it, but here, on her knees in front of a couch, a strange woman’s hand in her hair, Kara didn’t care that she was a Domme. She didn’t care that her daddies had vetted potential trainers for four months leading up to her birthday, that the three “possibles” had undergone every background and personal check known to Lima. Kara may have been a natural Domme but here in her training she couldn’t object, she couldn’t protest unless something went terribly wrong, and she wasn’t even comforted by the safety measures that were in place to ensure that nothing would go terribly wrong.
The only thing she cared about was that she felt at this woman’s mercy, and Kara had heard the stories of Dominants taking advantage of the trust placed in them. Kara didn’t want to be one of the statistics in a commercial on television.
“You’re right. I could hurt you.”
The dread slid over her like ice water, but Kara was surprised when that same hand in her hair gently pressed until Kara’s cheek was against the woman’s thigh. The motion was soft, kind, and Kara closed her eyes, trying to concentrate on the warmth and the feeling of fingers stroking.
“I could hurt you, and perhaps if I have to punish you, I will hurt you. Punishment isn’t meant to be nice. But it isn’t meant to be brutal; it isn’t meant for me to go over the boundaries we will set together for this week, and none of this training means I’m allowed to mistreat you. Look at me, Kara.”
“Yes, Ma’am.” She hastened to do what she was told; Lena’s eyes were a deep brown, twinkling and almost loving as she stared down at Kara.
“I’m going to take care of you,” Lena said quietly, and those words, coming from her, were enough for Kara to let go of all of her fears and put her trust in this woman, this stranger who held her close to her thigh and was still playing with her hair.
“I’m going to take care of you.”
“It was silly of me to be so scared,” Kara said with a little smile. “I should have known you’d never hurt me.”
“But you didn’t know. And what if all you’d ever known was hurt? Could you really have trusted me not to abuse you? And what would you have done if I hadn’t known what I was doing? How could you have recovered if I broke you?”
“I know, but I’m diff-“
“She can’t trust that you’re different,” Lena pointed out, sitting back down next to Kara. “If this is what you really want, Kara, this is going to be a long, slow road for you. I just don’t want you jumping headfirst into it, for her sake and yours, because god knows you’re impulsive and don’t think half the time.”
“Hey!” Kara protested, even though she knew it was true. Continuing to see Y/N, bringing the girl to visit with her for a week, all of it she’d done without really thinking of the ramifications. She stared at Lena, realizing the point the other woman was trying to make.
Lena smiled and reached out to touch Kara’s cheek with her hand; Kara nuzzled into it, yet another feeling left over from that week years ago.
“I couldn’t bear it if I hurt her,” she admitted. “That’s why I’m here, Lena, I don’t know how to be her Dominant… I mean what if she does something wrong? How do I spank her when I know what he did to her?”
“That’s easy enough,” Lena said, taking her hand away, and Kara was disappointed at the lack of contact. “You don’t.”
Kara tilted her head. “I don’t punish her?”
“I didn’t say that; listen to me, little one.”
“Lena.”
“Habit,” Lena said with a smile. “But I didn’t say you don’t punish her, I said you don’t spank her.” Seeing Kara’s confused look, she explained, “Punishment isn’t always physical, Kara. There are a number of ways that I could have punished you, but physically, for you, was the most effective.”
“Well, I’m certainly glad for that,” Kara muttered, remembering, then giggled a little when Lena tapped her knee.
“This is what I mean when I say you can’t jump into this. If and when you’re ready to claim someone you have to tailor your methods to their needs, to their boundaries. You know being a Dominant means you don’t have free rein to do whatever you want, however you wish to do it.”
“I know,” Kara agreed quietly.
“And if that person is Y/N,” Lena pointed out, “You’re going to have to rethink absolutely everything you’ve learned and known up to this point.”
Kara stood up and began to mimic Lena’s earlier action of pacing across the floor. “Even what you’ve taught me?”
She didn’t think she could let go of that. She’d centered her entire life, her entire concept of claiming and relationships, around what she’d learned at Lena’s feet. Books had only been able to tell her so much, but actually being shown, experiencing it… those were the lessons that Kara felt like she’d never want to forget, or be able to. Lena had taught her so much, simple things like the power that came from kneeling. Who was really in control of certain situations. The importance of rules. How aftercare was imperative. Kara had learned that knowing she’d disappointed Lena was worse than the spanking she’d received, and that forgiveness afterwards was stronger than any guilt she could’ve ever carried. It was through Lena that Kara felt like she’d really learned her true nature as a Dominant. Letting go of that knowledge… Kara felt like she’d be lost, and she didn’t know how on earth she’d be able to find her own way. She’d come to Lena for help, for extra guidance, and suddenly she felt as if she’d just been thrown to the wolves.
“Not all of it,” Lena shook her head. “You can find different techniques, different safe words, different ways to train and discipline and punish. But the care, the concern, you don’t ever unlearn that, Kara. You never stop caring; you never stop making the well-being of your submissive the number one priority of your life, have I made myself clear?”
Kara grinned a little even as the tone made her shiver again. “Yes, Ma’am.”
Lena stood up and crossed the floor to Kara, placing her hands on the girl’s shoulder and gently kissing her forehead. “You’re a Dominant,” she said. “It’s here,” she tapped Kara’s temple. “And you need to act with your head first, because you don’t want to hurt her. But more importantly, you have to know with what’s in here.” She gently tapped Kara’s heart. “Here is where you’ll find what you need. And if what you need is her, then that’s where you’ll also find what she needs. Because what she’ll need, more than any discipline, more than any rules, more than anything else, is you.”
“When did you get so wise?” Kara asked with a sniff, laughing a little as a tear streaked down her cheek.
“Right about the time two girls came into my life. You might know one of them, a loud little blonde who’s far too stubborn for her own good?”
Kara smiled when Lena wiped the tears from her face with her thumbs. “And the other?” She grew serious as she asked, “She makes you happy?”
Now it was Lena’s turn to blush and duck her head. “Yes, yes she does,” she said, and moved with Kara to sit back on the couch.
“Tell me about her.”
“Sure you don’t want to see her?” Lena asked with a smirk. “She won’t mind being looked at.”
Kara’s mouth dropped open in shock. “No, no, that’s okay,” she said hastily. “I’m sure she won’t mind being looked at, but I rather mind looking.” She grinned a little sheepishly. “I’m afraid there’s only one girl I have my eye on.”
“And does this girl know you’re here?”
“Not yet. But she will.”

Note
So I'm closeted and I've known for little time and now I'm always anxious around my friends because what if I do something predatorial towards them ? I know lesbians and gays aren't predatorial but what if I do something like that ? Could you write something with Kara being scared to do something like that with Lena (and maybe they sort things out and get together) I hope you are feeling better that lately and that you know a lot of people love you and you are great and fantastic
She knows it’s ridiculous.
The predatory lesbian stereotype.
But it’s all over lesbian media - even media she knows and loves - and she knows it’s bullshit and another ridiculous human convention that she can’t bring herself to understand or accept.
But she spent her adolescence on this planet, and she’s internalized a lot.
She knows that, as a bisexual woman, she’s got that stereotype and then a few more.
She knows that dating is a minefield even without all those horrendous stereotypes.
And she knows that she would rather navigate an actual honest-to-Rao minefield - complete with actual kaboom mines - than figure out how to date in the midst of... all this.
Because her big sister’s a lesbian - wow, so gay - and her best friend from way back when she started at CatCo is bi, and he’s trans, for crying out loud, and so is Nia, and she knows that in the group of friends, of family, that they’ve all cultivated together, no one would think twice about any of these ridiculous stereotypes.
But she can’t help what she’s internalized.
Especially as she stumbles her way through asking Lena Luthor out on a date.
Because she’s tried subtlety, and Lena apparently still thinks their brunches are something that girl-space-friends do. Not, distinctly, space girlfriends, but girls-who-are-friends.
And she’s tried complimenting her, and looking at her longingly, and she’s even pulled out a lip bite or two.
And Lena still... nothing.
Well.
Sometimes it feels like Lena is flirting back. Sometimes it feels like Lena’s gaze lingers too long and like her eyes flicker down to Kara’s lips more than gal pals would, and sometimes she can hear Lena’s heart racing much faster than it should be, just sitting next to each other, just with Kara’s arm brushing against hers, their knees knocking into each other’s at Game Night.
But still.
Neither of them say anything about it, so she can’t be sure.
She can’t be sure, so she needs to take more drastic steps.
But if she does, will Lena feel like she’s taking advantage? If she doesn’t, in fact, like Kara the way Kara likes her, want Kara the way Kara wants her, fantasize about Kara the way Kara...
Okay.
Okay.
Calm down, Danvers.
Think it through.
She does what she often does, when she can’t figure out what to do.
She calls her sister’s wife.
“Little Danvers!” Maggie greets, and Kara is already teetering on the brink of her sanity, so she just... rambles.
Something she’s gotten from Alex, for sure.
“I want to ask Lena out, but I’ve tried to ask her out before and apparently she keeps thinking we’re just friends, and I love being her friend, Maggie, I do, I really do, she’s my best friend other than Alex, you know that, and I don’t want to wreck that or take advantage of that, but I’ve tried so hard and she keeps not getting it so I want to be more straightforward and no, that wasn’t a pun, I’m serious here Maggie, but what if she thinks I’ve just been biding my time and have only been being her friend so I can be manipulative and get her into bed with me or -”
“Whoa, Kara, hey, slow down, hey. Breathe, yeah? Breathing is good, even for Kryptonian badasses, okay? There you go. Listen. She’s not gonna trip over something and land up in your bed. More specifically, you’re not gonna trip her and put her into your bed. No one makes Lena Luthor do anything, and no offense, Supergirl, but you couldn’t manipulate anyone if you tried. You’ve got a hard edge, that’s for damn sure, but manipulating involves a level of smoothness that the Danvers women have yet to evolve.”
“I can hear you, Mags!” Kara hears Alex in the background, and she smiles.
“Put her on speaker if she wants,” she sighs, knowing this conversation is about to both get funnier and more serious.
“Hey Kara.” Alex’s voice is closer to the phone now. “First of all, congratulations on finally admitting that you want to fuck Lena Luthor senseless. Collectively, I think our friends owe me like three thousand bucks.”
“Not true, Danvers, we all knew this would happen.”
“Yeah, but I called the timing and the circumstances.”
“Um, guys. Still here and baring my soul asking for advice?”
“Right.” Kara smiles, feeling held by her big sisters even through the phone. “Kara, Maggie was right. You’re not taking advantage of anything. If anything, it’s the opposite: you’ve been so nervous about freaking her out and wrecking your friendship or whatever that you’ve been treading so lightly Lena hasn’t even noticed. Or she has, but, like you, she’s a massive bi disaster and has convinced herself she’s making it up.”
“Just use the word ‘date’, Kara. And not like, ‘brunch date’ in the same way we say ‘movie night.’ Context counts, kiddo. Okay? You can do this. And you’re not doing anything wrong. You’re in love with your best friend - classic, by the way - and you’re asking her to be brave with you and transform it into something else. That’s beautiful. I might cry.”
“She really might. I’d better go take care of her. With kisses and -”
“Ew, Alex, you’re still my sister, I don’t have to hear the rest.”
“Seriously, Kara. I love you.”
“We love you!”
“We do. And you’re amazing. You can do this, and you’re not doing anything wrong. Okay?”
Kara nods before realizing Alex and Maggie can’t see her. “Yeah. Thank you guys. I love you too. Okay. Bye.”
Lena is next on her call list.
But before she can take the requisite forty-two deep breaths and call her, there’s a knock on her door.
X-ray vision.
It’s Lena.
She almost flies out the window.
Instead, she humans her way over to the door and puts on her best smile.
“I want to date you, Kara Danvers. I love the friendship we’ve built and I’m terrified by the prospect of messing that up, but I’ve thought a lot about it and I honestly think that we could only make our friendship stronger, because I can’t be alone in feeling this way, can I? Because you and I, we -”
The rest of Lena’s words evaporate on Kara’s lips, on Kara’s tongue slipping gently but confidently into her mouth, on Kara’s breath in her ear, whispering how beautiful she is and how long she’s wanted this and come in and shut the door before they wind up naked in the hallway.
As it is, they barely make it past the kitchen table, but the couch will have to do for now.

Grimes sisters chapter 25
this has gotten a bit longer but still enjoy fellows. And you know feedback is always appreciated :D
Pairings: Daryl x Alex; Negan x Fabienne
Warnings: angst, drama, smut, unprotected sex, slight orgasm denial, rough sex, dom/sub undertones, fights
Words: 3246
Alex POV
I took a place on the patio in the sun and let my thoughts reign freely. Daryl still hadn’t come back and I was starting to worry. He was an excellent hunter and fighter but in his rage even he could have made a mistake. No Alex, you need to push these thoughts away. He will come back! I thought.  But where my mind was especially running wild around was the disappointment that had settled in my bones. But what did I expect? That was just Daryl’s nature. When he was overwhelmed with something, he just left without a lot of words and no one knew when or if he was gonna come back. I understood that he needed the time to overthink it all but I just wished he was gonna come to me and let us do this together. I sighed to myself “Congrats to you and Daryl!” I heard Carl behind me who was carrying Judith smiling at me happily. “Thank you.” I smiled back but it didn’t reach my eyes. Too much was going on in my head to let it really sink in that I was carrying a baby inside me. That should have made me much happier than it did. When I looked back behind me Carl had already vanished again.
Rick had taken the news of my pregnancy really good. That wasn’t surprising after all Daryl and Rick were like brothers and I was his sister so I had a bonus. He was really happy and tried to encourage me talking about a future we would build.
Fabienne was a completely different page. Even though she was the older of us two. Rick had told me that he had talked to our sister and that she had tried to flee afterward back to Negan. But I had to admit that I was also on Ricks side. Negan had to make the first move, if he made one at all. Rick just couldn’t live with the thought that Fabienne really loved that guy and was having his baby. I could understand her sadness that came with no one else getting her ways. She had told me how good of a person he was to her. Nice and gentleman-like only out here he was a murdering sociopath. But there had to be an ounce of goodness in him, right? I really wanted to believe that for my sisters sake.
I decided to give the thoughts a rest and went over to help Fabienne with her gardening. Talking was probably gonna help us both. “Hey sweetie.” I greeted her lovingly kissing her cheek. “Hey.” she answered quietly. “Is he back yet?” of course she was talking about Daryl so I shook my head sadly. Together we took care of the plants “You did a good job so far. There seem to be quite a few people who know about planting here.” Fabi said approving. “Well Hershel and Maggie were her in the beginning so they helped us quite a bit and gave up tips on how to make the best out of what we had.” I smiled proudly. After a while of scooting around in the dirt we made a break and sat down on a bench in the midday sun.
“Rick told me that you wanted to bail? Please don’t. It’s Negan’s turn to come to you. I don’t know him as well as you do but don’t you think when he’s calmed down and overcomes his broken pride he will reach out to you?” I asked her and that gave her reason to think about any possible outcome of this situation. Then she just shrugged. Honestly I hated Negan for what he’d done but my sister couldn’t have been mislead that much, could she? She must have found something good in him otherwise she wouldn’t have started all this. Plus she was my sister and as such I could always count on her so I was not blaming her for anything. “I don’t know, Alex. Everyday I’m waiting for him to show but nada, nothing. Not even a letter or a radio call. I don’t know what to do anymore.” she let her head hang low. I needed to reassure her “Hey, together we can make it through this. With or without our guys. Were strong you know that and we are the best team there is. And look.. our kids are gonna grow up together in this amazing environment we are part of creating.” that finally made her laugh. So our kids were gonna be together and that was a wonderful thought.
Soon after our conversation I said goodbye and went back to the house. I wanted to lay down a bit, after fainting yesterday I was still a bit weak.
Seemed as if I had fallen asleep because I was awoken by a hesitant knock on the door. Exhausted I opened my eyes and recognize Daryl’s posture. Finally he was back.
“Hey.” I greeted him and he just nodded toward me biting his lip in that very cute manner he always did when he was nervous.
“I was worried about you.” I stated shyly.
“’m sorry. didn’t wanna scare you… was jus’ a bit much, ‘s all.” he mumbled.
“And are you clear now on where you stand?” I carefully asked him afraid of the answer.
“I don’t know. I love you and I never thought t’ be a dad but I wanna try wi’ you.” I can’t describe the relief that flooded me at his words. His soft southern slur was music to my ears and I jumped up as fast as I could hugging him tight.
“I love you too and I wanna give you as much space as you need. I’m gonna help you with everything as best as I can. And I saw you with Judith when she was a baby. You will be a great dad because you are the most amazing and loyal person I know. Don’t let your families history control you Daryl. You are good through and through.” I kissed him full of love and passion.
Then the air shifted into lust and pure instinct. “God, Daryl I missed you. I need you now!” I moaned in his hear kissing down his neck. Maybe it was the pent up frustration, maybe the hormones but I really wanted to jump his bones in that moment. Fortunately he didn’t object and kept kissing me vigorously. The next thing I know we had shed all our clothes and he was laying on top of me on our fluffy mattress still kissing the hell out of me. I loved his plump yet kinda fluffy lips. His erection was pressing against my lower belly and I was imagining him deep inside me. But suddenly he stopped all his ministrations and the look in his eyes was one of pure fear. “Isn’t sex gonna hurt the baby?” he asked worriedly. “No baby. It’s still not bigger than a small tomato and you won’t reach it so please keep going we could both need the relaxing activity.” I encouraged him. Obviously I had convinced him because a second later he was pushing inside me. And hell it felt like heaven. Even though he had been insecure in the beginning he was an amazing lover then. “shit that feels good.” he groaned and hit deeper when I slung my legs around his waist. He knew me so well and always found the right angle to make me scream out in pure pleasure. I just hoped that we weren’t too loud. “Oh, god, yes. Right there. Harder Daryl.” I moaned demanding more. “You love it when I fuck you, huh? Love my thick cock stretching you out. Love to be dominated by me? Tell me who do you belong to?” he was so hot when he got like that.
“You baby. I’m all yours. I’m your slut to do with whatever you please.” I submitted to him.
“SAY MY NAME!” he demanded and every word was punctuated by a hard thrust. “Oh god Daryl I’m yours- fuck- feels so good.” I yelled.
“Who’s the only one who can make you feel that way? Who can fuck you so good?” he kept ramming inside me. I was so close from his dirty talk alone that I started to shake with pure passionate energy.
“You close baby? I can feel you clenching around me.” he assumed right.
“May I come please?” I knew he wanted to be asked when he was in this dominant head space.
“Not yet darling.” he ground out through his teeth. After a few more agonizing thrusts he whispered in my ear “come! Now!” and I came so hard. I had never had an orgasm as powerful as this one. Maybe make up sex was really the best sex next to revenge sex. I felt his seed spill inside me and then he collapsed on top of me before rolling off me hastily a second later. “Was I too rough? Did I hurt you or the baby?” he asked fearful again. “No you idiot. You didn’t. I love you and this was awesome.” as long as he was gonna struggle with himself I was gonna build his self-confidence back up. We fell asleep again in each others arms and it was the most comfortable and relaxing sleep I had had in a while.
Fabienne POV
another two weeks had passed since I had told Negan about our baby and he had left without a word and there had still been nothing from him. Again and again the thought of just going back crossed my mind. I was so afraid of having the baby on my own and being a single mother. That had never been on my future plans. Not even before the world was overrun by the dead. But then my pride was triggered and I thought that he had to come to me, after all he had been the one that had left. My pride was one of the things I had left.
Over the past days I had been alone a lot. I loved my family don’t get me wrong but I playing domesticity was not something I wanted to do then. There was the happy couple Alex and Daryl totally in love and awaiting their child in happy expectancy and then there was me. The pregnant girl who had been left by her boyfriend because he couldn’t deal with a child and obviously had no sense of honor.
I love my sister more than anything but I couldn’t deal with their happiness. I was kinda jealous and at the same time angry at me for not being able to be properly grateful for what I had in those times.
Sitting down in a silent corner under the sky I was softly stroking over my belly wondering if it was gonna be a boy or a girl.
When I suddenly heard someone call out to me. It’s Aaron jogging toward me. “Fabi you really wanna see this. Come with me please?” he kindly demanded. I rolled my eyes in annoyance. Couldn’t I be left alone only for a minute.
“there is someone here for you.” he elaborated further.
Then I was getting nosy, excited and nervous all at once. And when I was standing in front of the gate it opened and revealed Negan and a few of the saviors but not as many as the last time he had come. He immediately saw me and strode over. “Hey.” he mumbled not making eye contact. He seemed to be ashamed of his behavior and that was normally not his style. He was almost always overconfident and maybe even arrogant but that destroyed I had never seen him before. But still I didn’t know what to say. No one else was daring to move closer to us. The people around us seemed to be holding their breaths tense at what was gonna happen next.
On the one hand I was really happy and grateful for his appearance but on the other hand I was angry and disappointed that he hadn’t come sooner. After all he had left me hanging for over two weeks.
“Look who’s finally….” I heard Rick distantly say but Alex stopped him before all hell was gonna break lose again.
Slowly I made another step toward him without touching him and he didn’t make a move either. He knew that it was my call if I was gonna let him back into my life or if he had gone too far. “Well, look who’s still alive.” I announced looking into his eyes. I nodded toward Aaron to close the gate and he did leaving the other saviors outside but they didn’t riot either.
“Please let me explain Fabi.” he spoke so only I could hear. He made a move for my hand but I blocked it and pulled away. He definitely didn’t deserve body contact of any kind in that moment. “Go on!” I stayed stoic. “can we please talk about this at home.” he was obviously not feeling very comfortable here baring his deepest emotions to me. But I decided to keep him waiting for a while longer even though I wanted to talk to him too in silence.
“You can’t be seriously considering to go with him, are you?” Rick asked me in disbelieve.
“I’ll give him another chance to explain and when I don’t like it I’ll come back to you.” I dryly answered him.
Suddenly I saw a movement out of the corner of my eye. It was Tara storming toward Negan gun raised… and then she pulled the trigger. I was deeply shocked though I understood her somehow. Fortunately she was blinded by rage and didn’t aim right so the bullet just hit the tire of a nearby car before Michonne had tackled her to the ground.
I looked at Negan and was so afraid he was gonna kill someone else but I saw realization flash across his features that he knew when he killed someone of my people, my family, that I was never gonna forgive him and he was never gonna see his child so he just brushed it off. That was the last drop I needed to decide that he could indeed change and that I was gonna go with him.
I packed a bit of the stuff that they had given me and that I desperately needed and walked back to Negan. On the way I gave chaste kiss to Rick and hugged him close before I turned to Alex doing the same. “But you are coming back when we have to go to doctor Carson, right? I don’t wanna do this all on my own. I need my sister by my side.” she almost begged.
“Of course sweetie. I’ll be back.” I ensured her and she let it go.
I walked past Negan and let my pack fall down next to him without sparing him another glance. I decided to play hard to get for a while. He deserved that!
We had taken a car for ourselves to be alone for the ride. The air was so thick with tension you could have cut it with a knife. No conversation held longer than the occasional small talk.
When he parked the car on the premises of the sanctuary all the feeling of being at home that I frequently had had before, were gone then. Still I nodded toward the people around us and also toward the workers as I had always done. I respected them because without them we were nothing there. No task force is of use when you can’t feed and clothe them properly.
I walked in front of Negan toward our small shared apartment. “Well? Talk!” I ordered him the second the door had closed behind us. Nervously he was pacing the room up and down. “I needed time to think. A kid was not what I expected to ever have after my wife died and now..” he swallowed thickly gazing at me. “Yes keep going. What is it that’s so bad about this? I’m sure we can make it. We came this far so why not?” - “me and a child? You saw what I’m able to do. I never thought this far… when I noticed your family there and then the pregnancy bomb?!… I was completely overstrained.” he drove his hands trough his hair in exasperation.
I let myself drop onto the couch looking at him intently. I wasn’t sure if he was trying to apologize or justify himself but I wanted to keep listening.
“And that’s why you just left me hanging? What if, when the baby is here and you get overstrained again, you just leave again? I can’t count on you at the moment. You have lost my trust and have to re-earn it again.” I told him disappointed by his previous answer.
He let himself plop down next to me with a loud sigh resting his hand on my thigh and that time I didn’t push him away.
“Your behavior wasn’t right with what you did in Alexandria. I didn’t recognize you then, Negan. It was just disgusting and if you wanna have a chance at regaining my trust and seeing your child you better change something or I will be gone before you know it.” my intentions in this statement were clear as day. As I thought back to his murders goosebumps were running down my spine.
“But baby, that’s just who I am. Only with you I am the big softy you know. You make me a better man.” he begged me to understand but I couldn’t let that slide.
“then start fighting for me- for us!” I stroked my belly again to underline what was at stake for him here. “Please at least try to change! I don’t want to be a single mom but I’m gonna do it when you don’t work on yourself. Why don´t you start trading with Alexandria and the other communities? You could make profit from each other without robbing them. I am definitely leaving and going back to Alexandria if you don’t start acting like a human being around others too!” I announced matter of factly and without giving him a chance to object.
I wanted to prevent  a bloody war between the communities and I felt as if I was the last thing holding him back from killing them all. I was trapped between my family who was everything to me and the man I loved and who was the father of my child.
“I promise you we are gonna find a solution. I’m gonna sit myself together with Rick and the other leaders and negotiate something that will benefit us all.” he affirmed me. That satisfied me for then and I stared deeply into his eyes but this time in love and adoration for my baby daddy. After what felt like a half eternity our lips finally sealed the deal.
The kiss was soft and his hand had wandered to my belly which made me smile lovingly. This moment felt just perfect even though I hadn’t believed that this was gonna happen anymore.

Just Watch
Just some goopy, gay SuperCorp fluff.
I originally posted this on my AO3 account. But it’s my favorite baby (so far) and I wanted it to share it here.
Story Notes: Lena knows that Kara is Supergirl. Also, Lena and Kara are not together. Also x 2, Maggie is still around.
Kara had had a supremely shitty day. Not just a “dude, that sucked and I'm beat” kind of shitty day. But a seriously shitty day. A violent branch of EPO (Earth Power Organization) had been hunting down harmless aliens throughout National City for several weeks. Supergirl and her fellow DEO agents had been pushing themselves to their physical and mental limits trying to root out the terrorists while the body count continued to rise. When they finally received the break they needed, the showdown was brutal and vicious. Supergirl moved in to search for survivors once all firing had ceased, the DEO agents hanging back until she gave the all clear. Her red boots carefully pushing through the destruction as she checked each body for life. Such a waste. So much hatred. So much fear. What did any of this serve?  Her heart hurt, it actually hurt with sadness.
“All…” her voice cracked with emotion. Alex’s voice came through the radio, “Supergirl? Repeat. You cut out.” Supergirl took a breath to calm herself, and swallowed the thick lump in her throat. “All clear. No survivors.” “Thank you. The team is on their way. We need you back here.” Kara didn't like the tone in her sister’s voice and sped back. “What’s wrong?” Alex’s extended hesitation and averted eyes confirmed Kara’s concern.
“Agents Monroe and Dean were injured.” Kara glanced over her sister's shoulder at the two agents being attended to. “Okay, do you...” she trailed off when her sister raised a hand. Stepping closer, Alex took one of Kara’s hands, squeezing. “Kara, Agent Gonzalez was killed.” “No” came Kara’s strangled whisper, head slowly shaking in denial. She couldn't breathe, the air in her lungs had turned to mud. Leaning over, she braced her hands on her knees, blonde hair falling forward. She felt her sister’s hand on her back, through the roaring in her ears she heard Alex's voice telling her this was absolutely not her fault. So, yeah. It had been a supremely shitty day.
                                  ___________________________
As exhausted and sad and angry as they all were, still they gathered at the bar that night to celebrate the life of Agent Gonzalez.
Alex was worried about her sister. Kara wasn't exactly isolating, in fact she was playing darts at the moment. But she had been quiet and subdued, not words typically used to describe Kara. Maggie and Alex stood off to the side of the group, watching the darts competition and sipping beers. It was Kara’s turn, and just as she pulled her hand back, she stilled. When Kara turned and let the darts fall to the floor, Alex immediately stepped forward on high alert. “Kara?” But as Kara moved toward the door and Alex tried to follow, Maggie reached out, taking hold of her arm. Alex gaped at Maggie with urgent confusion. “Babe, I need to check on her.” Maggie smiled softly, shaking her head slowly. “Just watch.” Alex's face scrunched as she turned back to Kara, now standing only a few steps from the door. Just as Alex opened her mouth to question Maggie, the door opened. And in walked Lena Luthor. They watched as the dark haired woman walked directly up to Kara, showing no hesitation to drop her obviously expensive purse on the bar floor to wrap her arms tightly around the blonde's shoulders.
And they watched as Kara melted into the embrace, burying her face in Lena’s neck when she couldn't hold the tears in any longer. Her body shook, and Lena just held her. A flare of jealousy and hurt surged through Alex as Kara clung to Lena. Maggie felt it and reached up to take her girlfriend’s chin firmly between her fingers, turning her face to meet her own eyes. “Alex, stop. Just stop. She will ALWAYS need you. But she needs this, too. And that’s ok.” She leaned up to kiss Alex gently. After a moment, Alex pulled away and considered her sister and Lena. “I don't even know what this…” she waved in the women’s direction “...is. Why is Lena even here? Did Kara call her?” “No. I did.” “Why?” This was her sister and she had no idea what was happening. “Well, a couple reasons. First of all, Kara is terrified of hurting you, of disappointing you. She’s Supergirl…” Maggie gestured air quotes. “And she thinks that means she always needs to be strong, especially for you. That girl is completely selfless, and she loves you with every fiber of her being. To the point of putting you before her own needs.” While Maggie talked, Alex’s eyes moved from Kara to Maggie and back to Kara. Her chest heavy at the thought that Kara could ever feel like a disappointment. “The second reason I called Lena, is because Kara never would have. As much as she needed that…” she nodded in Kara’s direction, “...I know Kara wouldn't want to be a burden. She cares so much for that woman, that she would rather go it alone than to cause her any inconvenience.” Tears were burning Alex’s eyes by this point. “How do you know all of this about my own sister, but I don't?” Maggie rubbed Alex’s arm. “Don't be too hard on yourself. You are too close to it, to her. She’s your sister, you have a very specific picture of her.” Alex watched as Lena held Kara’s face in her hands, gently wiping away tears. Watched her lips moving, and Kara nodding. Watched Lena press a kiss to Kara’s forehead before wrapping her arms around her again. “Okay…” Alex continued, still watching her sister closely, “...but how did you know she needed this from Lena?” Maggie barked a laugh, instantly regretting it when she saw the hurt flash across Alex’s face. “I'm sorry, but I honestly don't know how you’ve missed the way Kara talks about her ALL. THE. FUCKING. TIME. And their chemistry. I think they might actually combust soon.” “What did you say when you called her? Lena, I mean. Was it weird?” Maggie shrugged one shoulder, taking a swig of beer. “It was weird for like a second. She was all cold business at first. But as soon as I told her it was about Kara, it was like a switch had flipped. I let her know that it had been a really bad day and a group of us were meeting here. She asked what time.” Alex nodded slowly and watched her sister take Lena’s hand, leading her to the bar. They stood shoulder to shoulder and chatted while waiting for Lena’s drink. Alex was amazed by how much lighter Kara already appeared as she laughed and leaned into the other woman. Kara introduced Lena to DEO agents she hadn't yet met, and took the darts handed to her. “Thanks.” She took a long pull of her beer before setting it down. “So, who’s my next victim?” Lena immediately stepped forward. “I am.” Kara grinned, and cocked her head. “You. Really. Do you even know how to play?” Wine glass in one hand, Lena held the other out, palm up, two fingers twitching as she directed Kara to give her some darts. “Oh, I think I can probably figure it out. Just to be safe, perhaps you should go first. You know, to show me how it's done.” Alex watched from the back of the group. She watched and she listened. Lena sipped her wine, appraising Kara. “How do you not throw that mini-missile through the wall?” Kara chuckled as she assumed the dart position. “Lots and lots of practice. Entirely unrelated, let me know if you need any holes patched in your walls. I'm an expert.” Lena laughed, green eyes sparkling. Alex watched as her sister graciously lost to Lena. “She hates losing,” she mumbled under her breath. Maggie hummed in partial-agreement. “Usually.” Lena leaned in and whispered something to Kara, who glanced down a nearby hallway before placing a hand at the small of Lena’s back, leading her toward the restroom. Alex watched as Kara leaned against the brick wall while she waited for Lena. And she watched her sister’s foot tap, watched her fidget with her shirt, her glasses, her hair. Just about to go to her, Maggie once again held Alex back. “Just watch.” Alex sighed in annoyance, but watched. Lena came out and laughed at something Kara said as she moved passed into the restroom. Watching Lena pull out her phone, Alex assumed she was checking emails, dealing important LCorp business. Kara exited the restroom, hands energetically flailing about. Alex watched in shock as her sister playfully attacked Lena Luthor, posh billionaire, with her wet hands. And watched with equal shock as said posh billionaire threw her head back and laughed, squirming. Alex glanced at her girlfriend, who stood beside her with a knowing look. When Maggie subtly pointed back to the two women, Alex turned to see that Lena now stood with her back to Kara, her phone held up so they could both see whatever it was she was showing Kara. She watched Kara wrap her arms around Lena’s waist. And she watched Lena’s free hand cover Kara's as the pair laughed. Watched Kara making a comment. And watched Lena tilting her head to meet Kara’s eyes. “Jesus.” Alex whispered. She felt Maggie’s arm wrap around her. “So, you see it now?” Alex just nodded. She tried to keep her face neutral as Kara and Lena approached. It was awkward at first, the conversation strained. “So Lena’s…” Kara paused, and leaned in to whisper something in Lena’s ear. When her friend nodded, Kara continued. “Lena’s been working on something very interesting. It's a sound machine, ya know, like white noise? But for me!” She glanced over to Lena, practically glowing with pride. Lena’s smile matched Kara’s and she enthusiastically picked up the discussion. “Yes. Well I got the idea a couple months ago when Kara was having trouble sleeping.” Green eyes glanced at Kara then back to Alex and Maggie. “I can't even imagine how difficult it is for her to tune out the city, especially when she’s trying to sleep.” Alex didn't realize how stiff she had become until Maggie rubbed her back. She tried to relax, looking to Kara. “You, uh...you had trouble sleeping?” Kara shrugged and adjusted her glasses. “Yeah. There was a baby teething upstairs. It was pretty rough for a few nights.” She shrugged again. Lena continued, “so then I started to brainstorm, and I thought maybe I could come up with something. Something for her whole apartment. There have been times when we’re watching a movie and she can't tune out the world, even when she’s off duty. Or when she's had a bad day. Or feeling sensory overload.” She regarded Kara, a warm smile touching her lips. “I mean, who doesn't want to block out the world when they close their door at night?” Alex glanced at Maggie for a moment. Lena sighed, self-deprecatingly. “I haven't quite worked it out, though.” Kara pulled Lena into a side hug. “You will. And it will be perfect!” Maggie nudged Alex, prompting her to engage. When she didn't speak, Maggie stepped up. “That's actually a really great idea, Lena.” Alex felt uncomfortable and insecure. But when she looked at Kara, and Kara looked at her, she realized this was still Kara. Her sister. And this wasn't a competition. Kara had plenty of sunshine to go around. So Alex took a deep cleansing breath, she wrapped and genuinely smiled at Lena. “Maggie's right, it really is a fantastic idea. Wish I'd thought of it. Maybe I can help you out.” She jumped when Maggie gave her side a little pinch. “Uuuhhh...if you get stuck.” Maggie approvingly rubbed the spot she had pinched. Lena gave Alex an appreciative smile. “That would be amazing. I've done a few preliminary frequency tests. But I don't have the equipment in my National City labs to fully evaluate Kara’s spectrum.” Alex nodded, her scientific-self emerging. “I’m pretty sure we’ve got that completely mapped. I’ll check into it tomorrow and get back to you.” “Excellent.”   Lena’s phone rang and she reluctantly excused herself. Kara excitedly pulled Alex into a tight hug, whispering “thanks, sis.” Alex squeezed back. “I love you, Kara. Always.” When Lena returned, she touched Kara’s arm to get her attention. “I'm sorry, but the London office needs to talk to me.” Kara pouted, but said “ok. I’ll walk you out.” Lena nodded and turned to Alex and Maggie. “Thank you for inviting me. I hope to hear from you tomorrow, Agent Danvers.” Looking over to the rest of the group, she offered a slight wave and said, “while I wish it had been under happier circumstances, it was nice to meet you all.” The group returned her goodbye with their own. Alex watched Kara escort Lena across the room, directing her around tables and bodies with a hand on her lower back. Near the door, Lena stopped and turned. Once again she dropped her purse, wrapping her arms around Kara. She watched as they slightly pulled apart, speaking quietly to only each other. Lena’s arms looped over Kara’s shoulders. Kara’s hands on Lena’s hips. “So...do they really not know?” Maggie chuckled. “Nope. Not yet.” Alex studied her. “Shouldn’t we…” she stopped at the look Maggie gave her. “Yeah, yeah…I know.” She turned back see her sister holding the door open for Lena. “Just watch.” Thank you for reading. I hope you have enjoyed this story as much as I do.
