#yuji angst

Note
Hello! It's one of my first times asking for something, so forgive me if it seems strange or if I spell something wrong! Feel free to ignore this too!
I was looking at your Jjk list and realized that our beautiful boy Yuuji doesn't have a story there yet, so I had an idea!
something like Itadori and Reader (gn or male) were in a fight together, and Sukuna ends up appering to deal with the whole situation, and as a result, he ends up hurting the reader on purpose to bother Yuuji, so he is left feeling very bad and guilty , so ends up “ignoring” reader, because he keep blaming himself
I only thought until this part (srry), I would like an ending with something cute and fluff ig? 👉👈 (i like angst with a happy ending)
WEREN'T WE THE STARS IN HEAVEN?

part 02 here !!
Tumblr media
shibuya is empty. desolate, even. eerily so. even after spending only a few months in tokyo, ITADORI YUUJI had grown accustomed to the noise. the bustling crowds and noisy tourists had become commonplace - almost a comfort at the end of a long night. if nothing else, at least the people were safe.
until they weren’t.
your lungs burn as you race through the remains of shibuya station. the walls are splattered with a mixture of blood and curse remains. there are no longer complaints from people about being trapped inside of the station. there are no longer stray groans from mahito’s transformed humans. there are no longer screams of terror.
you feel sick.
you force yourself to run faster when you see a figure standing in the distance, near what remains of the bathrooms. water seeps across the tiles from nearby, probably damaged in the midst of a fight. “yuuji!”
he doesn’t have a visible reaction. your footsteps slow to a stop as you take in the sight of him. his clothes are ripped and tattered but there are no visible injuries on his body. beneath the flickering lights above, you can just barely make out the blood stains littering his clothing.
“yuuji?”
he turns to face you, smirking over his shoulder. you take a step backwards, shoes slipping on a puddle of water on the floor. there’s a dark glint in his eyes - one that you’ve never seen before. “not anymore.”
“sukuna,” your breath hitches.
he frowns, mockingly pouting as he begins walking towards you. “that’s not how you should address your lord.”
anger flares in your chest. your hands curl into fists, nails digging into your palms. you grit your teeth, aiming towards sukuna’s jaw as you swing.
he evades it easily, languidly pushing his hands into his pockets. “i’m hurt, y/n,” he mocks. “i can’t believe you would hit your own boyfriend.”
“shut up!” another swing. another miss.
sukuna laughs. he watches you with amusement; like you’re an ant beneath his foot he’s pushing around just for the sake of his own entertainment.
he’s fast. almost faster than your own reflexes. your punches only ever meet air as he dances around you. “does it bother you?” sukuna asks. his breath ghosts against your ear as he leans in. “knowing that yuuji’s power comes from a curse. does it scare you?”
you swallow your insults, instead focusing your attention on aiming your punches at the right time. he frowns. “ignoring me now? that won’t do.”
sukuna raises his leg, swiftly landing a hit against your side. you’re barely given time to react before your body slams into the wall.
the pain comes hard and fast. it’s agonizing. it feels like you’re on fire. every part of your body begs you to give up; to lay down and crumble into a ball on the ground. but you can’t. you won’t.
blood pools in your mouth, dripping down the corners of your lips. debris surrounds you. you can feel pieces of rock and concrete digging into your hands as you push yourself up onto your hands and knees.
your attempts are quickly ripped away when sukuna kicks your side once again. you land on your back this time, staring up at the ceiling through blurry vision. your head aches.
“pathetic human.” sukuna smirks over you. the heel of his boot digs into your chest, pushing your body down further into the rubble. your eyes flutter shut. if you’re going to die, you’re not going to give sukuna ryomen the satisfaction of being the last thing you see.
the force of sukuna’s weight forces a weak cough out of your lungs. he raises his foot once again before he pauses, humming to himself. “i wonder what the brat would think of this.”
time seems to still as your consciousness begins to slip. you can feel yourself growing weaker. your breaths are shallower. it’s harder to get air into your lungs. your racing heartbeat has also slowed. it no longer pounds loudly in your ears. instead, a dull ringing has replaced the noise.
nothing feels real. yuuji is yelling your name. he’s on his knees; his face hovers over you.
yuuji looks different. the black marks across his skin have disappeared, leaving only pale skin behind. hands that have the power to snap bones and destroy buildings are gentle as they cup your cheeks. he wipes away blood and dust and tears.
“yuuji,” you whisper. at least, you try to. and then-
the world goes black.
shibuya is empty.

They were missing you terribly, not having thought that silence could be this deafening. Every time they wanted to reach out they stopped themselves, trying to convince themselves that you’re better off without them but never in their wildest dreams did they think you would be dating someone new already - until they saw you in someone else’s arms - happy.
„I saw you in another's arms, only a month we've been apart - You look happier. Saw you walk inside a bar, He said somethin' to make you laugh. I saw that both your smiles were twice as wide as ours- Yeah, you look happier, you do“
➸ Nobara Kugisaki, Maki Zenin, Toge Inumaki, Hiromi Higuruma, Momo Nishimiya
Tumblr media
Breaking up was a huge mistake, no matter the reason. You and them… it has always been like that, you two against the rest of the world. You were their partner in crime and they were hell bent on fixing things with you, no matter what it costs them. The only issue was convincing you that they have changed and that they’re truly sorry, hoping on a second chance with you.
„Come on let me hold you, touch you, feel you, always. Kiss you, taste you all night, always. And I'll miss your laugh, your smile. I'll admit I'm wrong if you'd tell me. I'm so sick of fights, I hate them. Let's start this again, for real - So here I am, I'm trying. So here I am, are you ready?“
➸ Aoi Todo, Yuji Itadori, Yuta Okkotsu, Mai Zenin
Tumblr media
As much as the initial break up hurt, you were better off without them. Crying yourself to sleep became less over the weeks and months you didn’t see them, not even wasting a single thought on them anymore. You dyed your hair, changed yourself to someone you always wanted to be and went out again, having the time of your life. They knew how happy you were and it killed them on the inside because by the time you were over them and happy, they started to doubt if leaving was a good idea.
„This is a shout out to my ex, you're really quite the man - You made my heart break and that made me who I am. Here's to my ex, hey, look at me now. Well, I, I'm all the way up, I swear you'll never bring me down“
➸ Megumi Fushiguro, Toji Fushiguro, Noritoshi Kamo, Sukuna, Mahito
Tumblr media
No matter how short or long your relationship was, they made you feel like no one else managed to. The time spent with them was too short and it was over in the blink of an eye - or at least that’s what it felt like. Even months later you found yourself mourning what you had with them, unable to get over them. Nights were spent hugging the plushie they gifted to you at one point, wishing you could hold them one more night.
„I could follow you to the beginning, just to relive the start. And maybe then we'll remember to slow down at all of our favorite parts - cause all I wanted was you“

Reincarnated Love
a/n: Sukuna with a reincarnated love still got me in a chokehold, back at it again with the crappy titles pretend it sounds good, not related to the first one I just got too many ideas for this lol
bestie beta reader: @yukios-medic ily ma'am 🥹💙
pairing: Yuji x fem!reader, Sukuna x fem!reader
Tumblr media
Yuji held her close, eyes staring up at the ceiling. He was losing her. To the curse who was inhibiting his body, no less.
She would pull away too soon. He could feel the love for him leaving her body more and more, every time they kissed.
Sukuna told him exactly what would happen if he chose to pursue her. Told Yuji that no matter how much he could come to love her, Sukuna had loved her first, and he would be the last to do it in this lifetime, too.
Told Yuji that maybe she wouldn’t get all of her memories from before back, if at all, but it wouldn’t matter. Because over time, being close to Sukuna, even through his vessel, would be enough for her soul to feel the call of him.
She would come home to him, and when Sukuna was strong enough to take over as he pleased, he would make Yuji watch while she fell in love with him, all over again in this century.
So, when Yuji felt the unease begin to settle between them, his heart hurt, stomach lurching.
And the worst part? Sukuna could see it all. Yuji would not have a single moment of this heartbreaking realization to himself.
It was a waiting game, now. Yuji was waiting for her to drop the other shoe. Tell him that she just couldn’t do it anymore. Would she admit what he already knew? That when she looked at him, all she could see were red irises and black markings? That she saw the king of curses, and not her sweet, caring, loving boyfriend Yuji anymore?
Would she leave? Avoid him? Or would she stick around and suffer in silence, in the hopes that she might glimpse her long lost lover through his eyes when he wasn’t looking.
“Mmm…” She hummed quietly in her sleep, nestling closer to his chest as she did. His heart squeezed, and his lips pulled into a small smile. For now, though, he had–
“Sukuna…” She breathed.
His heart shattered.
‘I told you this would happen, brat. Don’t try to take things that don’t belong to you.’

his everything.
itadori x fem!reader
-mainly fluff, itadori’s love for you, not proofread🫶🏾.
itadori’s pov
Everything.
Everything you did was so elegant, so mesmerizing. From the way you talked and how certain words rolled off your tongue it was like a lullaby to him.
The way your hair would flow in the wind and sometimes get stuck on your lips from the lipgloss you always wore. And your lips always had him struck, he couldn’t get enough.
And how much he loved how soft your hands were when you caressed his face, he swear he was going to melt right there.
He’d often catch himself staring at you for hours, even when you’d come over to study and how the light from your laptop shined on your eyes making them even brighter.
The way certain outfits hugged your curves in all the right places, he almost fainted one time when he saw you in this all black dress.
You were perfect in his eyes, everything you did was perfect. Everything about you. He’d often thank the Gods from above for crafting him such a beautiful girl.
You were his everything.

Walk With Me
Tumblr media
Pairing: Itadori Yuji x You (Reader)
Genre: Angst to comfort :)
Note: I wrote this with the intention of it being angst, but it ended up turning into comfort as I went along so :)
M.list
You’re about to fall asleep when you hear a knock on your door. You get up to open it and stare at Yuji, dumbfounded that he’s here at this hour. “You’re still awake?” You ask softly.
He nods and wiggles his umbrella for you to see, “yeah, couldn’t sleep.” Yuji’s lips jut out as he reconsiders even asking you, but he does so anyway, “wanna go for a walk with me?” He peeks into your room a bit before continuing, “I know you usually have trouble falling asleep, so I figured you’d be awake.”
You nod your head and quickly run to grab a jacket. You both leave the premises and walk shoulder to shoulder under his umbrella. The rain was pelting so heavily, and it was so cold that you swear the wind could blow you away.
“What’s on your mind?”
You speak first as you look down at your shoes. Not that walking with Yuji alone is uncomfortable, but it seems like he’s in deep thought. Yuji is silent for a while, and you think he’s ignoring you. Right as you’re about to say something again, Sukuna’s mouth appears on his cheek, “the kid likes someone.”
Oh. You internally panic. See, you are in love with Yuji, but even you know that you have no luck. Yuji groans as Sukuna’s lips disappear. “I can’t get her out of my head, y/n.” Yuji admits before turning to look at you. There’s a clench in your heart at his confirmation.
“Who is it?”
You quietly ask. It’s not completely wrong for you to be feeling down, but you hope he doesn’t notice. Yuji takes a deep breath and lets out a small chuckle, “she’s from Kyoto. I’ve been texting her here and there.” He blows a few raspberries, “I kinda want to ask her out. Officially, ya know?”
Fuck. Fucking shit. You blink away the newly formed tears as fast as you can and swallow the huge lump in your throat, “go for it. Who would ever reject you, Yuji? You’re the sweetest guy ever.”
Yuji gently shakes his head at you, “I think I will soon.” You don’t say anything after that and it’s back to silence. It’s times like this that you’re glad Yuji is a little dense. Yuji steps in a small puddle of water and cocks his head, “what about you? Got anyone in your heart?”
You hum to yourself and look into his eyes as you walk in sync with him, “I do.”
Yuji’s eyes immediately shoot wide open, and he smiles excitedly, “really?! Who is it?!”
To this, you laugh, “it’s a secret, Itadori.”
He pouts cutely at you and nudges your side, “at least tell me the small things. Maybe I’ll figure it out.”
You watch the rain fall as you contemplate. Your smile falters but you know that he’s not paying attention to your face. “He’s someone brave,” you start off, “someone who’s not afraid to sacrifice himself. He’s strong headed as well.”
Yuji rubs at his chin with his free hand at the information and furrows his brows, “I wonder who it could be.”
This idiot. There’s a twist in your stomach as you continue to speak, “he’s kind of stupid too, but I like him.” A smile begins to form on your lips as you continue, “and he has nice clothes. He’s very friendly and easy to get along with… but sometimes he’s too friendly.”
Yuji quirks a brow at you, “what do you mean?”
“Well, he’s overly friendly, so often times it’s hard to decipher whether he wants to be more than friends or not. I know he means well but he knows no boundaries,” you explain, hoping that he doesn’t catch on. Yuji juts out his lip and continues to walk with you, “maybe just confess to him. He might say yes.”
There’s a pitiful feeling washing over you and you just want to cry. Instead, you clear your throat, “I can’t do that. I don’t want to risk my friendship with him. I like him enough to just stay on the sidelines. He’s so important to me. So important that I’ll settle with just being friends.”
And you mean it, because right at this moment, it dawned on you that remaining friends with Yuji was better for the both of you in the long run. It was better that he never found out about your feelings. Yuji stares at nothing in general and nods, “I guess you’re right. If the guy you like doesn’t feel the same, then it might cause you two to drift.”
You couldn’t help it. The tears have fallen past your eyes and before Yuji could notice anything, you walk out from under the umbrella. Yuji’s eyes widen, “hey! What’re you doing, y/n?!”
You’re already soaking wet in the rain now, and you give him a broken laugh, hoping he doesn’t catch it, “sorry! My intrusive thoughts won!” You push your weight onto the tips of your toes as you sway back and forth, “I thought it would be cool to get rained on, so I stepped out.”
Yuji’s shocked eyes and opened jaw relax when he hears your explanation. He chuckles at you and shakes his head again before clicking his tongue, “you’re so unpredictable sometimes. Come back under, I’ll walk you back.” A yawn comes from his mouth, “I’m starting to get tired anyways.”
Right now, you’re glad that your tears and blending with the rain because he doesn’t notice. However, Sukuna’s eye and mouth has appeared on his cheek and he’s staring at you with knowing eyes. His mouth is pulled into a heavy frown, and you shake your head at the curse so discreetly that Yuji doesn’t catch it. “It’s okay,” you chirp, “I’ll head back in a bit. See you later, Yuji!” You turn around and start walking away from him while he stares at your back with an confused expression.
You look at the time and it’s 1am in the morning. You decided to come back to the dorms and hate the fact that you’re soaking wet, but you deal with it. Once you get back into your own dorm room, you take a hot shower, change and go to bed. You had cried your heart out in the rain as much as possible so that you wouldn’t break in front of Yuji ever again. To this day, Itadori Yuji never realized that you were in love with him.
-
It’s been 5 months since that night happened. Yuji hasn’t been able to get something off his mind, if he’s being honest. Yeah, he asked the girl out, but they didn’t work out in the end due to “long distance”. It was a shit excuse, but Yuji wasn’t too bummed out about it. However, your odd behavior from that night kept replaying in his mind and he couldn’t figure out why. He’s always had a soft spot for you, but it made him panic, the way you went silent. Your mood shifted and you stayed out way longer than he thought in the cold rain. Yuji would be lying if he said he didn’t regret not giving you his umbrella that night. It’s just that you walked off without him so quickly and never once turned back around, so he had no choice but to go back. He figured whatever he said must’ve bummed you out and you needed some space. After all, he’s not all that skilled in dating so his advice might’ve been something you didn’t want to hear. He also couldn’t tell if those were tears rolling down your cheeks or the rain that night. His heart felt heavy though, but the very next day you were back to normal. All happy and cheery.
“You’re really just a dumbass, aren’t ya?” Sukuna’s voice came out from his cheek, causing Yuji to roll his eyes, “what’re you going on about now?”
The curse let out an exasperated sigh at his obliviousness, “switch out with me. I’ll make things right for you.”
Yuji laughed in disbelief, “yeah, like I’ll let that happen. You’re a curse and you’re evil. You’ll only cause havoc. Not happening.”
Although Yuji said that, Sukuna’s been on good behavior (something that’s out of character on his end, suspiciously so) but it doesn’t ease his heart. Sukuna could switch up at any second and it was something Yuji wasn’t willing to risk. “Ugh, fine. Then think about what y/n said at least,” Sukuna grumbled to himself will a roll of his eyes. Yuji blinked a few times as he tried to recall what you said.
“He’s kind of stupid too, but I like him. And he has nice clothes. He’s very friendly and easy to get along with… but sometimes he’s too friendly.”
That could be anyone… Yuji sighs in defeat as he rules out each of their friends. Sukuna’s lips are itching to tell him the answer, but he won’t butt in any further. He disappears instead and Yuji clicks his tongue, “hey! You didn’t help me one bit.”
How funny that tonight it’s raining crazily again. It hadn’t rained in a while so why was it raining now? Yuji has spent all day thinking about who your heart belongs to and before he knew it, it was midnight. He rubs his eyes and puts on warm clothes. He grabs an extra hoodie and his umbrella before he pads his way to your door, knocking lightly three times. He’s counting the seconds it takes for you to answer. 15 seconds. You look puzzled to see him, but you smile, nonetheless.
“Can’t sleep again?”
Your voice is almost inaudible, as if to not disturb the facility. He gives you a small nod and raises a brow at you as an invite. You’re following after as you throw his hoodie over your head; and here you two are, walking side by side again.
Nature is raining its fury all around you as you bask in each other’s comfort. Yuji smiles softly, “hey.”
You hum in response, still just watching your feet. Yuji uses his free hand to scratch the back of his neck, “I never found out who you liked. If you don’t mind, can you tell me now?”
He doesn’t miss how you stiffen. His eyes are analyzing your every move, almost as if he’s trying to confirm something. Itadori may be an idiot, but he’s not stupid. When you don’t immediately answer, he decides to talk first, “is it Inumaki-senpai? He’s friendly, has nice clothes and he’s a little dumb like me too.”
You giggle at his guess and Yuji feels his cheeks heat up at the sound. He quickly turns his head away and looks at the falling rain instead. You smile softly and shake your head, “It’s not Inumaki-senpai. He is adorable though.”
He beats around the bush since his heart is suddenly pounding erratically, “Is it Fushiguro? He’s brave and sacrifices himself all the time.” A new person comes to his mind, and he lets out an exaggerated gasp, “no wait! Don’t tell me it’s Gojo-sensei!” His head snaps towards you again and you both make eye contact.
Your eyes are curved into crescent moons, smiling back at him the same way your beautiful lips are. Yuji tries to gulp in a subtle way but the way the rain dances around you as he shelters you makes his heart pound in a beautiful rhythm. The moonlight also peaks through and shines onto your face even though you’re hidden under his umbrella, and he thinks you look ethereal. Of course, Yuji’s always thought you were beautiful, as he thought all his friends and peers were, but something about this was different. His pumping heart was proof of it. Again, he’s surprised that Sukuna hasn’t said something snarky about the beating of his heart or this moment. While all that is happening, you laugh again and shuffle a bit closer, “it’s neither of them. Gosh, Itadori. You suck at guessing games.”
Just like that, you two are walking together in silence. Neither of you bothers to speak up for the next 5 minutes. That is, until you nudge him, “this is a nice hoodie. Can I have it?” you ask sweetly. Your voice is glazed in honey and suddenly Yuji wants to hear more of it. He wants to hear you talk to him in that tone more. Yuji spent all day guessing who your heart belonged to, and trust him, he even considered himself; he fit into your description very well, and as much as he wanted to ask, he was afraid the answer might not be right. He chuckles to himself and nudges you back gently, “of course you can. But,” he looks at you with a lazy grin, “how many hoodies have you stolen from only me already?”
You jut out your lips playfully as you try your best to not feel sad. The whole scene is kind of nostalgic and it didn’t exactly end on a good note, but at least this time you both are talking with ease. The air feels heavy and light at the same time. You tug on the sleeves and titter to yourself, “you have nice clothes.” Yuji’s breath hitches for a second and he hopes you didn’t hear. He exhaled slowly as his lips tremble, “t-then… is it me?”
You don’t answer him yet. The two of you stopped walking and you turned your entire body to face him as you examined his expression and body language. All you see is anxiousness riddled on him, so, taking that in mind, you accept your second indirect rejection from Yuji.
“No,” your voice has softened and suddenly the mood feels gloomy again. But instead of seeing relief on Yuji’s face, you see disappointment. It confuses you extremely.
“Are you alright?”
You ask out loud, furrowing your brows. Yuji’s mouth opens and then closes, then opens again, like he’s trying to say something but can’t. You look at the time on your phone and realize the two of you have been out for an hour already and should head back to the facility. You point with your head go back but Yuji just stands there.
“Are you lying?”
His voice is so soft that you almost don’t catch it, but you do. You try to reassure him, but he shakes his head and looks into your eyes, “you like me, right?”
Your tongue is caught in your throat and you’re unsure of what to say or do. All you want to do is run away and hide. Yuji, however, has other plans and opens his arms, hugging you tightly, causing the umbrella to shift and make your shoulders get rained on for a couple of seconds. You’re shocked to say the least. With wide eyes, your hands hesitantly raise up and hold him back. Yuji nuzzled himself closer, “I’m sorry that I was oblivious before, it must’ve hurt.”
He holds you even closer, as much as he possibly can, “I won’t lie, if you confessed to me before, around that time or that night, I might’ve rejected you…” you listen intently while a small smile forming onto your lips, because you know where this is going. Yuji let’s out a soft relieved laugh, “but I want to pursue you too, if you’d let me. If you can forgive me. I’m seeing you in a different way and it makes my heart race like crazy. It’s so fast that I’m scared even I won’t be able to catch up to it. But this is something I’m serious about, y/n.”
You sway with him under the umbrella, “is this something worth possibly ruining a friendship for? Who knows what the future holds for us if we go on. That’s why I said I’d love you from the sidelines and stay as your friend. If you want, we can pretend this conversation never happened, Yuji.”
He shakes his head adamantly though and pulls away enough to look into your eyes, “we can work through it. Whatever the future holds, we’ll work around it and get past any obstacle together. Teamwork makes the dream work, y/n.”
You let out a content sigh against his shoulders, “okay, okay.”
There’s a mix string of laughter that fills the air as you both walk back to the premises hand in hand. Yuji waits for you to open your door and is about to bid you goodnight when another door down the hall swings open, scaring you both.
“I’d appreciate it if you guys would be quieter. I’m trying to sleep,” Megumi groans, his hair even messier than usual. He lets his eyes readjust to the darkness and sees that you’re both holding hands. There isn’t a smile visibly marked on his face, but his heart is smiling as he rubs his eyes with the ball of his fists, “about fucking time. Go to bed.” He sneers at Yuji, “get your ass to bed.”
“Sure will.”
Yuji sends you a warm smile and hurriedly shuffles to his own door, mumbling a short “sorry, Fushiguro” before running in.

enjoy!! 🤧🤧🤧
It was a couple days after the Shibuya Incident.
Everything was silent in the dorms. I sighed as my back hit the mattress, looking at the ceiling. I felt empty, missing something. Someone.
All my friends.. They’re gone. I murdered the source, but what do I do now?
No bickering was heard outside my doors like usual, Gojo-sensei wasn’t at my door to call me for a mission, none of my friends came to visit.
They’re gone.
It was hard to believe it.
I groaned as I felt tears run down my cheeks. I cried enough, haven’t I? And yet, they never stopped.
My throat was being squeezed, the air in my lungs being kicked out. I breathed faster, heavier, and yet that same thought rang in my mind.
“If I never swallowed that finger, they could be here. I wouldn’t know them, but they would be alive.”
I turned to my side, grabbing my pillow and sobbing into it. No one could comfort me now. Not even my thoughts. Only negative thoughts swirled in my mind.
“FUCK.” I yelled into my pillow, my voice wobbly. I squeezed my eyes shut, my body trembling with each breath.
I threw my pillow across the room, a silent thud as it fell onto the floor. I sat up from my bed, standing. My legs felt weak. I took daily runs, overworking myself during training.
I sighed as I stood up, my hands ruffling my pink hair. Sukuna was gone, the tattoos that used to litter my skin was fading day by day. I couldn’t hear Sukuna’s voice anymore, but a part of me knew that I would feel less lonely if he still remained.
Even though I hated the marks, at least someone could be here with me.
I left my dorm as I put on my jacket. I left the dorms, heading to a cemetery.
When I made it, the guilt was heavy in the air. I walked over to their graves, lined up side by side.
I fell to my knees upon seeing their names. It hurt. I clutched my stomach, feeling sick.
I could remember their faces but they started to swirl, turning into when I last saw them.
Gojo-sensei, Kugisaki, Megumi, Junpei, Todo, everyone.
I sighed, laying down on the dirt. I stared up into the cloudy sky, seeing their faces for a moment as I nearly fell asleep by their graves.
Some light feather-like touch grazed my hands, tracing up to my neck and face. I could remember their scents, the smiles on their faces. When we hung out, their laugh.
A scoff left my lips, a wobbly smile on my face.
“You’re all idiots for leaving me.”
“We know.” Small voices mumbled into my ear in unison. My eyes fluttered open, seeing them hovering over my body.
“I miss you guys.” And they disappeared.
fin.
PLEASE REMEMBER: DO NOT TELL ME WHAT HAPPENS OR TO OTHERS THAT HAVEN’T WATCHED THE REST OF JJK!! I still wanna watch it even tho i saw too much spoilers on yt or tt 🤤🤤 thank you! 🥰

HATE THAT I LOVE YOU || part 3
mean!ryomen sukuna x fem!reader
Tumblr media
It's already a part of Sukuna's personality to be mean, always throwing insults at every person he finds annoying here and there. And you were no exception. You ran after him like a lovesick puppy, happily smiling at his rejections, confessing to him multiple times how much you like him, and Sukuna wanted so much to strangle you for your persistence.
But when you stopped showing interest, maybe... just maybe, Sukuna didn't like the sound of it.
contents: sukuna x reader, soft!reader, reader is oblivious to sukuna's insults, mean!sukuna, golden retriever x black cat trope, reader is a happy pill (not to sukuna tho, yet), hurt/slight angst, modern college AU, sukuna is in a band, bassist!sukuna, not proofread, jjk characters in a band, siblings yuji and sukuna

***
You don't remember anything that happened last night.
Waking up with a throbbing head and no memories of what occurred when you were drunk was not something you were happy about. You were still dressed in your last night's clothes, your heels discarded on the floor, a blanket being over your body the whole time you were sleeping. You didn't even know how you still got home or how you even ended up on the living room couch, assuming that maybe Nanami took care of you because of the text he sent last night.
2:17 PM
Nanami: I hope you slept comfortably. Drink some water when you wake up.
You smiled at his message. Nanami is surely the gentleman out of everyone in the band, he really never forgets to take care of everyone.
So when Monday comes by, you immediately look for Nanami to thank him personally. It was during lunch period when you caught sight of the person you've been wanting to see, and without further ado, you ran after him as you called out his name.
Unbeknownst to you, Sukuna was just a few steps behind when he found you talking to Nanami. And the words that escaped your mouth sent his blood levels high.
“Nanami! I wanted to say thank you for taking care of me last Friday night!”
“Friday night?”
“Yeah? I was really drunk, but I do remember someone taking me home. And you texted me that morning too, so I concluded it was you. Anyways, thank you so much–”
That's all Sukuna needed to hear as he walked right past the two of you, his eyes shooting daggers at everyone who walked in his way.
What he witnessed somehow left a bitter taste in his mouth. Like there's a poison corrupting his veins, eager to suffer him to death as he clenches his hand in a fist to restrain himself.
All Sukuna could do was walk away.
He couldn't accept how you dare to think that another man took care of you and drove you home. He couldn't believe how you're thanking another man right away, instead of clarifying who did what first, and he's just really going to hate you more for this.
“Wait, what do you mean?” Nanami asked you with an evident confused look on his face. After rambling about how you appreciated his act of concern towards you last Friday, you finally focused on him and saw how he looked clueless about the situation.
“You… took me home, didn't you? Because… I was really drunk…”
“Oh.” He nodded, now realising what you said. “It wasn't me, though.’
You were entirely confused by the situation now. Your feelings had tangled up in your mind and you don't know what to believe anymore when you saw Sukuna walking past you in the hallways.
The surroundings seem to quiet down as you focus your eyes on him. His figure, his stare, his inevitably handsome face. It's all coming back to you again. The beat of your heart, like a slow motion film everytime he walks by, and you feel like you're a teenager for these feelings.
You were about to open your mouth to talk to him, when he brushed you off so easily as he spared you no glance, walking right past your shoulder. Mouth agape, words left unspoken, mind wandering elsewhere, your cheeks blushed in embarrassment.
If he's the one who took you home after the party, then why is he not taking any credit for it?
Did he do it out of pity or something? Did he just feel bad to leave you alone in there?
You knew he didn't have any feelings for you, so maybe it is the latter. And after that, he doesn't care anymore where you thank him anymore, because that's just how he is.
Sighing, you clutched your bag in your hand and thought of another time to thank him still.
On the other side, Sukuna is mad mad. He doesn't even know why. He can't even explain it himself because he feels like it's nonsense.
It's like a feeling of wanting to throw a tantrum for all his bottled up feelings of anger at you, but if he did do such a thing, he'll come out whiny. Plus, only Yuji does that.
He just hates it. Everytime he looks at you, that anger starts becoming intense in some type of way. His hatred makes him want to lock you in his arms, and just… and just…
Why is he thinking about this anyway?
He hates you for your annoyance. For your persistence. For always smiling at everyone. For always making his day feel incomplete if you're not there.
He hates you even more for thanking Nanami for something he had done. And he wants to knock some senses in you at some point.
He hates how you've changed. How you're slowly fading away from him.
He hates how he's maybe starting to feel different about you now.
“You might pierce a hole in her head if you keep staring like that…” Yuji whispered close to Sukuna’s ear. Sukuna flinched, but immediately hit Yuji with his elbow, leaving the latter hissing in pain.
The football field was yet again full of people. Girls would walk over and say hi to Sukuna and Yuji to where they sat at the benches, and only Yuji would have the heart to flash them his cheeky smile. While Sukuna watches you who had been sitting a few seats far away, your back facing them, focused on whatever conversation you have with your friend.
“Tell me,” Yuji continues. “Are you starting to like her?”
Sukuna immediately turned his head to him with a glare. He scoffed, crossing his arms on his chest, “That's total nonsense, Yuji.”
Yuji shrugged as he stared at you as well. “Not to me… You look… troubled…”
“That… has nothing to do with that fool…”
Yuji laughs at his brother, shaking his head at his denial. “Whatever you say.”
This is it. This is the right time to finally talk to Sukuna.
You breathed heavily as you wiped your sweaty palms on your clothes. Your heart was thumping loudly on your chest as you stood right before the band's practice room door.
You've been looking for Sukuna the whole day and ended up asking Yuji where he was, and this is why you ended up here. The door seems to dread a dark presence before it, looming an ominous aura within, or maybe it was just you over exaggerating things.
You nervously twist the door, and there you see Sukuna on his usual seat, legs spread apart, his face resting on his palms as he had his eyes closed. You almost backed away after realising that he was sleeping, but stopped when he opened his eyes.
“O-oh I'm sorry, I didn't know you were asleep!” You panicked, bowing at him repeatedly for your mistake. “I'll leave–”
“Do you need anything?” His deep voice felt like thunder as it rang in your ears.
You purse your lips, feeling the heat rush to your face. You reluctantly nodded your head as you took a step inside the room, closing the door behind you.
“About last Friday…”
Sukuna raised an eyebrow as he stood up, taking a step forward as he placed his hands on his pocket. “What about it?”
“Y-yeah uhm… Thank you for… f-for…” You started stuttering, your hands shaking on your sides. Sukuna's eyes landed on them, which startled you to clasped your hands together instead to keep them still, but it didn't really help.
“Say it.” He demanded, and it made you even more nervous because he was staring at you too intently.
“L-last Friday night… I want to thank you for…” You take a breath to calm yourself down. “N-nanami said… you took me h-home?”
“Are you asking me if I did?”
You pinched your shaking hands, not expecting his question. “Y-yes? Did you…?”
“Tsk.” He took a step closer, reaching out to grab your shaky hands with one hand. “What's gotten into the sunshine brat I know, hmm?” He asks, staring at your shaky hands between his. “Nervous?”
“T-that’s not the question, Sukuna.”
“Alright then,” he let go of you, bringing his hands back to his pocket. “I did. Happy?”
You closed your eyes at his answer, your breathing becoming uneven as you opened them again. Sweat is starting to form on your neck, “Why?”
It was the question that had been running in your head for the whole time since Nanami told you that it was Sukuna. And you needed answers. At this instant.
“You were drunk,” Sukuna answered straightforwardly. “Did you want me to leave you alone?”
“N-no! B-but–”
“Don't put too much ideas in your head.”
Your heart skipped a beat.
The world seems to start crashing down, and that's all the answers you need.
What were you expecting anyway? That magically, Sukuna started to care for you just because he had the heart to act like a person towards you? That maybe, he started to realise that his feelings for you were never hatred but it turned into something deep?
No, that's impossible. Liking you the way you like him was never in Sukuna's vocabulary.
So what now?
“Right!” You nodded your head with a smile. “I wasn't thinking of anything! I really just wanted to thank you, that's all!”
Sukuna searched your eyes, trying to read you. But you quickly feigned your disappointment as you grinned at him.
“I just needed to confirm that. Thank you, Sukuna! I should get going now. I won't bother you anymore.” You waved him goodbye as you ran out of the room, and when he was finally out of sight, tears started rolling down your face.
Sukuna, on the other hand, just stared off into space from where you left.
He was… undoubtedly, regretting his words.

in another life.
-yuji x fem!reader
-angst, mentions of death, blood, during shibuya incident (kinda?), first ever fanfic so not perfect!
yuji’s pov
Destruction and debris.
That’s all that was left after everything that happened. I groaned as I shakily got up on my feet, trying to get a grasp of what has happened. Then my mind suddenly snapped to her.
Where was she? Was she okay? She had to be okay, right?
I quickly scanned around my surroundings seeing all the damaged cause by him. That’s when I felt my heart dropped, there she was laying on the ground.
I quickly ran to her kneeling next to her lifeless body. That’s when I saw her stomach covered in blood, a deep gash stretching from her each side of her abdomen.
I tried my best to not vomit at the sight. My hands shaking while reaching out to her. My hand grazed against her cheek. She felt so cold, my hand immediately retracted.
Her eyes were slightly opened. Her eyes.. They were completely lifeless, the sparkle that was always there, that sparkle which made my heart skip a beat when she looked at me. The sparkle that made me fall even harder for her. That sparkle..
was gone. Gone. Not a single thought behind them.
She can be okay, right? She can heal from this? The slight desperation came from my mind. But there was no way, the wound was too deep she was losing blood fast.
I pressed two fingers against her neck to feel for a pulse that was hopefully there. But nothing, I felt nothing. That’s when it hit me. She was gone. There was no saving her, I was too late. The thought of her last moments made my heart ache, I know she was scared and helpless.
I’m sorry I couldn’t be there to rescue you, i let you slip through my fingers, I failed my promise to you. I’m so sorry, there was no way id be able to forgive myself.
We were supposed to live a long fulfilling life together, we were supposed to get married, have kids, and live in a nice house together. But now those are just dreams, dreams that will never become reality because now she was just a dream.
I let out a loud sob as I held her motionless and cold body towards my chest, what was I supposed to do now that you were gone? Why did you have to go so soon? Why couldn’t it be me instead? Living in a world without you would be so miserable.
Maybe in another life we were truly meant to be. In another life we would’ve got married and had kids. In another life we would’ve grown old together. In another life I wasn’t here holding your lifeless body. In another life I could’ve actually saved you.

1:30am Sad blurb time:
{ based around this blurb }
<Spoils of course.>
Tumblr media
Sukuna finding out that is wife, his love, his soul mate was reincarnated. He saw you through that brats eyes.
{ of course the brat knew you, of course you were smitten with him too }
That smile, god he missed that smile, that laugh. He had to keep you safe, he had to keep everyone away from you
From tainting your innocents
He was smiling down at the destruction that he created. But why did something feel off? No it didn't feel off, it felt like a piece of his soul was torn.
Where were you?
Then he started to run, through the rubble then finally where he felt you the most.
There you were, laying motionless. He would have thought you were sleeping.
But you weren't....you were dead. The coldness seeping through your body was what gave it away, not being able to heart your heart beat cemented the fact.
A pained cry spilled from his lips, he didn't know if it was from that brat or himself.
Why were you here? You should have been safe! You shouldn't be near Shibuya. Itadori made sure of that! But that's when it hit him, he didn't even see the other small bodies. The thick smoke in the air.
You were protecting them?
He drew you in close to his chest, you were so cold but you still held that damn smile on your face. Why were you smiling?!
Why were you fucking smiling when his world just crumbled. And he knew, he could feel that brats anger.
That he could not blame the villagers, the people of this city for your death.
No the only one he had to blame was himself.
He had his second chance, a chance to not repeat history but he snuffed it out.
You were gone and nothing will bring you back.
He will never hear your laughter, he will never see you smile. He will never feel your warmth.
His soulmate, his life, his love was dead and it was all this fault.

Dancing In the Rain
Tumblr media
Pairing: Itadori Yuji x Reader (ft. Gojo and Megumi)
Genre: Fluff and slight angst
M.list
You and Yuji run and take cover when the rain suddenly starts to get heavy. You’re already soaking wet and a bit irritated since your uniform is sticking onto you.
“Ugh! It’s so cold!”
You groan as you try your best to wring out what you can. Yuji continues to stand there, looking at you as you do so. You glance up at him, “what?”
He shrugs his shoulder and runs a hand through his hair, “it’s pointless to do so, don’t you think?” You roll your eyes as him as you continue your previous action, “no,” another unhappy noise leaves your lips as you continue to grumble, “it didn’t even look like it’d rain this heavily! I’m irritated, honestly.”
Yuji just laughs at you as he continues to watch the rain pour down. It’s as if the time passing by goes even slower now that you’re stuck. He sticks his hand out, letting the rain touch him, “I don’t think it’ll stop anytime soon.”
You’re already pouting as you see Yuji stepping out again, “what are you doing? You’ll get sick.” He smiles warmly and begins to dance with no music or beat, “who cares at this point? We’re already wet!” He flashes you a boyish smile, “let’s make the most out of it, y/n!”
You have to admit, he looks graceful as he dances aimlessly. His moves are quite dorky, and it only makes him more adorable; everything about him is just so endearing. Your anger subsides as you continue to watch him move around freely, and you already find yourself stepping out from the cover over your head. But you stand there, letting the rain pelt down on your skin. Yuji turns back to look at you, “come on already! Join me, y/n!”
He holds his hand out towards you and you walk closer, taking it in your own. The two of you dance beautifully under the rain with nothing but carefree smiles. You each give out dorky moves, battling each other as you continue to get soaked. Laughter fills the cold air and while you’re jumping around, not paying attention anymore, Yuji is staring at you with the kindest eyes; and as he stood there, he felt it. He finally understood what it felt like to be completely free. He was truly happy that he was able to witness such a feeling before his sentenced death, whenever that would be. The wind howled and the rain showered everything yet you both loved it. The fury of nature calmed your minds as you danced, basking in nature’s fury.
“Y/n,” Yuji called out, “you look beautiful.” You let out an airy laugh as you blush at his words, “don’t lie.”
Your laugh is a lullaby to him, and he’ll treasure it forever.
“I’m not lying. You’re beautiful,” he tells you, taking both of your hands into his, stopping you from your silly moves. Both of your hearts beat erratically as you hold your gaze.
“Slow dance with me, y/n.”
Again, you can help but giggle, “but there’s no music, Yuji!”
He shows you a toothy smile, “there’s no music?”
Yuji pouts for a second but then winks, “no worries! I’ll sing us a song!” He begins to hum a made-up song and the two of you begin to move gracefully as you slow dance. To strangers, you two would look crazy, but that doesn’t matter. None of that matters because you’re enjoying the moment way too much.
“Can I confess something?” Yuji asks, breaking his melody. You squeeze his hand a bit harder, “of course you can.”
Yuji looks into your eyes again and contemplates his words, if he should really say them or not. Well, he doesn’t have much time left on earth anyways… speaking of which, he’s surprised Sukuna hasn’t come out to say something snarky. Did he perhaps learn some manners? Whatever. You only live once, so why spend it cowering away? Why not get confessions out of the way? He shakes his head and sends you a shaky smile as he spins you, earning a string of giggles. Feeling impatient, you narrow your eyes playfully, “tell me, Yuji. What is it?”
He swallows thickly and laughs in that same boyish tone that makes your heart flutter, “I love you… from the bottom of my heart.”
You don’t stop dancing. No, instead, you let him dip you down and bring you back up, then you lean in, giving him a soft kiss. Time feels like it’s paused. It seems like the droplets of rain have completely stopped midair all around you two as you share such a vulnerable action. You’re afraid he’ll hear how loud your heart is thumping but it’s alright. If it weren’t for the rain, you’d probably hear his too. You both break away from the kiss in sync and hold your gaze, a hundred unspoken words being shared through just your eyes. Although you don’t say it back, Yuji knows. He knows you love him too. But it would be selfish for the both of you, especially him, to ask of something more, because in the end, he will die. Itadori Yuji was doomed from the moment he consumed Sukuna, and that was something you both understood. He’s the first to grin, breaking the seriousness of it all. It makes you laugh too, despite the wringing of your hearts.
“Shall we pick up where we left off?” Yuji offers, his eyes smiling down at you.
“You should probably keep singing that fake song of yours so we can.”
Just like before, Yuji hums an unreal song and the two of continue to dance like idiots in the rain, laughing joyously, paying no mind to your surroundings.
Megumi and Gojo stand together under their umbrellas, watching in the distance. Gojo has a wide smile stretched across his lips and eyes filled with yearn as he watches you two. Megumi shuffles closer to Gojo unknowingly as he tries to hide his smile beneath his uniform collar, but he has to admit, he feels lighter, seeing Yuji so happy. They see the kiss that you two share and well, platonic or not, they can’t deny the fact that you two had a special kind of bond. You were literally soulmates. Perhaps in another life, in a parallel world, your opposites are living a life with no curses or jujutsu sorcery. Maybe they are having all the happiness you two deserve. As Gojo watches the scene play out before him, his mind brings back his one and only. He wishes in a parallel world, him and Geto would get the happy ending they deserved.
“Let’s go Megumi, we’re intruding.” He wraps his arm around Megumi and drags him back the other way.
