Doing a small review for June’s Observation Log on The Ssum by Cheritz!!

Please note that:

• I have not played Teo or Harry’s routes yet, June was my first ever match and plan to stick with him!!

• I am an extremely new player (only on Day 3 on him so far whilst writing this post) so please be aware that I don’t know much on how the routes go.

Onto the review!!!

June’s introduction:

When I got June as my match, I was unsure at first cause I usually don’t go for the first choice but said ‘why not?’ cause you never know with a character that was recommended to what you like! To be honest, I’m pleasantly surprised that I’m enjoying him so far!

Him being introduced as a person who’s been waiting for almost 2 years for their match, it’s enough to intrigue you as to why he’s been on this app for so long! Also having the description that he has a lot of secrets makes you curious to dive into what he’s been hiding from us.

June as a Character:

Personally, I love June’s personality. Always so polite and respectful yet also having that braveness when it comes to dealing with his mom, he’s such a baby boy 🥺

His excitement is conveyed extremely well through his texts, very expressive and carrying out that he’s high on this new relationship that has potential, it’s clear that he’s looking forward to a better relationship than his old one with his ex. His voice actor does an amazing job at voicing June, making him soft spoken and sincere in every word, keep up the amazing work!!

I also love the small bits at the bottom of the chat that give the small indications of his mannerisms when we’re waiting for a response from him, I thought that was a neat and cute way to show how much thought is put into the character!

Character Mysteries:

I’ve been wanting to look into more on June’s family background as he tends to brush off his mom cause it’s apparently very interesting so far, figuring out that Carolyn is Jumin’s mom as well which makes Jumin and June half-brothers!! A connection I never expected to say the least but it spices up the characters and ties into Mystic Messenger which gives the clue that we’re definitely from the same universe.

Also June’s biological dad not being supported by Carolyn? I wonder why he’s not more concerned about his dad but I’m guessing it’s cause he hasn’t been around much for June to get a close connection with to get a more expressive reaction when we talk about his dad.

Carolyn is also a mystery in of itself as she’s the only parental figure in his life and basically his caretaker, his life revolves around her but it also makes it relatable for me because of June’s experience with having an overbearing parent (which is borderlining on abuse) which has me worried for him :(

My overall thoughts:

I love June and I love his character so much, thank you @cheritzteam for making this special Ssum-one! He is a nice introduction to the game and would highly recommend picking him as your first ever route if people ever see this post lol. Thank you for reading this review and again, thank you for making June!!

Hello, yes I’m alive ✨

Gonna drop off some art I have been accumulating over the past months, school has been really busy so I couldn’t post anymore stuff lately!!

Purple OC is named Raspberry and she’s from UnderSwap!! She’s Blue and Stretch’s little sister, still taller than Blue though so she lucked out on the genes XD She’s part of the royal guard and her magic type is being a Tank! High HP and DEF but a pacifist, she would only hurt someone if they are an enemy!!

Next is Blake from UnderFell!! Once again Red and Edge’s little sister but she’s just as tall as Red!! Crude and brash like her brothers but hides a sweet spot that is only shown to her secret garden tucked away behind their house. Her ATK is high being Asgore’s Executioner as well being a citizen of UnderFell she has to dirty her hands every once in a while.

Tis my personal headcanons of the skeleton brothers! I hope you like my interpretations of these wacky skele dudes!

UNDERTALE:

SANS

Ultimate Pun Master

The Sans-ational Sans

A very humerus comedian

One depressed mf

Very distrustful of anyone outside of his circle of friends and acquaintances

Closed off and introverted but can be extroverted in certain situations

I feel like he's not really someone interested in romance??

If he did have a romantic interest, he would definitely figure out his feelings very quickly but won't act upon them

Papyrus is his #1 Top Priority

Sorry fangirls but papy more important than you :[

Chugs the shit out of straight, black coffee

Naps a lot but is very hyper aware of his surroundings

A light sleeper. Often wakes up at night, def has insomnia.

Bottles up his feelings a lot until someone makes him snap

Very traumatized from the resets which in turn makes him have a very pessimistic view of the world and how he interacts with humans

He needs some loving, this very squishable skeleton :(

The most hyperactive dude you'll ever meet

He has a lot of energy and most likely experiences a long period of burn out as a result

He has anxiety about not doing something active, he's not really someone who likes sitting still

He tends to put a lot of effort in different interests

He can cook great food, he just cannot grasp how to cook proper and edible spaghetti

Coffee gives him headaches so he prefers to drink tea instead, Sea Tea more specifically

Hides his emotions as well from his brother, worries that he's just adding more to his older brother's overflowing plate

If he had a romantic interest, he would he more bold in his displays of affection, sometimes outright declaring it.

His dating manual comes in very handy

But he's still the more expressive one, gets aggressive easily, him being upset is very obvious to tell and when he's happy it's more concealed but he's quite genuine

He's very proud of his brother, he'll do anything for Edge which is why he took the submissive approach in their brotherly dynamic

KFC In My Own Style!!

(‼️TIS MY ART! DO NOT STEAL, REFERENCE AND REPOST WITHOUT MY PERMISSION‼️)

I came up with their designs when I was doodling in the middle of exams, I was really bored lol. I also decided to draw them in lineless to practice it more!

Frisk has more rounded shapes to indicate a certain softness of character. I gave them a warmer skin tone as I thought it would suit them best instead of the bright yellow their original sprite. I gave them more bandaids as I imagine they're a very curious child who often gets in minor accidents when exploring.

Yes, Frisk is Non Binary (as they have no canon gender) and panromantic in my headcanon, their pronouns are They/Them!

Chara has more sharper angled shapes in their hair and undershirt but still added some round shapes to give him the child like softness he should have. I made him Demiromantic as I imagine he would have trust issues since he was unalived as a kid by other humans— (Pronouns are He/Him, my headcanon is that he's a cis boy!)

Kris is more referenced with his overworld sprite as I made minor changes to make him more distinct instead of being an older Chara, gave him sharper and longer features to show how more mature he is compared to the two kids. Ngl my brain kinda died designing Kris? He was very hard to translate into my style XD

I imagine that he's not comfortable being labeled anything as he would be fine with dressing in either feminine or masculine clothes. He would go by He/Him pronouns as he's used to being addressed with them 💕
