popcorn and kisses

summary: in which you and jake have a movie night at your house, but instead end up fighting with popcorn and making memories

a/n: lmao hi!! i hope ur having a great day! i’m honestly rlly proud of this one, it’s fun and cute, i hope you like it!

You smiled as you walked into your living room, bowl of popcorn in hand as you plopped onto the couch, immediately scooting yourself into Jake’s arms, “So have you picked a movie?”

“Uhhh I can’t decide between ‘Up’ and ‘Cars’..” he clicked his tounge as if he was deep in thought, staring at the tv screen then back at you, “ What do you think?”

“Oh that’s obvious! Cars for sure. I don’t wanna cry!” you scoffed at him, as if the answer was obvious, and honestly, it was, last weekend you guys watched The Notebook, and quite honestly you weren’t in the mood to cry this week, maybe next week.

“Oh come on! Are you embarrassed because you kept crying into my arms last week?” he looked at you with a cheeky smile, throwing a piece of popcorn at you, “You know i don’t mind babe”

“Oh shut up, the only reason is cause it’s a good movie” you rolled your eyes, a smile still on your face as you picked up a few pieces of popcorn and tossed them at him, two hitting him in the face and the third landing on his lap.

“Sure jan” he winked at you before grabbing a handful of popcorn and throwing it right at your face.

“OH ITS ON” you yelled grabbing your own handful and throwing it at him, your laughs filling the apartment as you engaged in a full on popcorn fight, eventually running out of popcorn as the battle died down, the two of you panting slightly, tons of bits of popcorn scattered around you two as your laughs died down and you just stared at eachother, bright smiles on both of your faces. You leaned in, capturing his lips in a sweet, loving kiss.

“You know I love you right?” Jake asked, pulling away.

You smiled, snuggling into his chest, “Always”

And the two of you stayed that way, the tv in front of you, which had yet to play any movie, long forgotten.
