Yes!!! Go Canary!!! Absolutely loved this chapter as always 😭 It’s bittersweet to see her hold her ground throughout this chapter. No one can blame her for being bitter, but it’s clearly hurting her too when she lashes out. To be honest I think it’s a way Canary is punishing herself, although she might not even be aware that’s what she’s doing.

“Your anger bubbles over, manifesting in the worst way possible–tears.”

This line really resonated with me. I hope Canary gets to a place where she can let herself cry, but I can really empathize. It’s so hard being an angry crier. People don’t take you seriously when you can’t “control” your emotions (even though expressing anger with or without tears isn’t exactly controlling your emotions either!). It seems like only certain kinds of anger, from certain kinds of people, are allowed. Canary deserves to be visibly angry.

It’s gratifying to finally get a Price apology! It’s time for everyone to face their mistakes head-on. This kind of seems like the theme of the chapter as everyone gears up to take Graves down, with Canary ready to face him directly for the first time since her “death”. So exciting! Thanks again for another great update! -⛄️

canary def needs to talk to someone because i honestly don't even think she really understands how she feels outside of her burning hatred for graves and makarov. like she knows she angry at the 141, and she certainly has the right to be, but she's being purposefully hurtful as a way to get back at them and i think to make them keep their distance even tho that might not be what she actually wants from them. she really just needs a good therapist, but hopefully that's something she's working on.

being an angry crier is the absolute worst, and that's def one of the reasons i chose for canary's anger to manifest that way. not only would she feel that people would view her in the ways you described, but i also think she would see herself crying like that as being weak and that's the last thing she wants to be esp in front of price. canary needs like a free week at a rage room or st to just be able to get all of her anger out, and then to just let herself cry it all out without having to worry about appearances or judgement.

we did finally get an apology from price and i can say it def won't be the last one now that canary's kind of expressed how much an actual apology means to her. we're getting down to the final chapters, and now that everyone's gearing up it feels like the only thing left to do is take down graves 👀
