Life couldn't be determined by anyone. No one knew what their life would be like in the upcoming years. They weren't supposed to know unless they had it figured out. But did they have it figured out? Probably just knew what their job was and where they would live but not everyone was certain.

If someone told you that you would live a domestic life with your boyfriend of 2 years in a comfy one-bedroom apartment you wouldn't have believed them. Because that was for you to find out.

Crisp air, the bright sun peeking through the blinds tried its best to wake you from your slumber. Though the soft feeling of mounds of blankets shielded your eyes from the harsh light of the morning sun. Maybe it wasn't just that keeping you in bed? The slender arms wrapped around your waist holding you close to the warmth radiating from your lover.

His breaths were slow and calm, his hair a mess from tossing and turning, his cheek pressed against the pillow as all thoughts and worries were pushed aside for the time being. The morning had come faster than you both would've liked because with morning came a new day of responsibilities.

At 7 am soft chimes flooded the once quiet interior of the bedroom which only meant it was time to get up and start the day. Snuggling in close to your lover trying your best to silence the noise. Your lover has the same idea as he pulled you closer as if you weren't already close enough.

Though when you felt him place a kiss on your head you knew it was time to get up. You stretched your tired limbs rolling over to your side of the soft piece of comfort burying yourself deeper into the duvet. The covers pulled away from you as you buried your face in the pillow. You didn't want to get up.

It was the start of a new week which meant heading to class. You wanted to stay in bed all day away from all of it. The feeling of his cold hands made you shiver as you pushed his hands away. Tried to at least. His hands-on the exposed skin of your waist. His thumb caressed the skin there as he pressed a kiss on your cheek before another.

A smile made its way upon your face as he continued to do so. Your eyes fluttering open. A smile upon his face as he gazed at you with so much love and admiration. 'Good Morning.' His voice was raspy from just waking up.

You smiled at him running your fingers through his messy bedhead softly. 'Good Morning to you too.' You replied as he nuzzled his head into your neck. Things to do but you guys were content with laying in bed for a little while longer. His arm around your waist, your fingers massaging his head, and his head buried in the crook of your neck. A good 15 minutes had passed before you were truly out of your bed and about to start your day.

The floor is cold against your bare feet. Floorboards creaked underneath you. His hand swallowed yours as he pulled you along with him. It never left yours as you two did your normal routine.

The smell of freshly cooked breakfast stirred you from your thoughts as you got dressed. The table was set and filled with breakfast he had managed to cook while you showered. You wrapped your arms around his waist as he was finishing up cooking the last of breakfast.

Your cheek pressed against his back as he talked. 'I think we need to go grocery shopping.' He spoke as you nodded nestling your cheek against his back. His back vibrates as he chuckles from the feeling. That sound instantly brought a smile to your face. His hand laced with yours as he pulled you to the table. It was like this every morning.

It was always something you had looked forward too. Not once did his hand let go of yours as you two ate and conversed. 'Let's just stay home today.' He suggested as you looked up at him from your plate as you rolled your eyes.

As much as you wanted to stay home with him you knew you couldn't miss University. You sighed squeezing his hand. 'As much as I want too. You know that I can't.' He huffed knowing what you were saying was true though he didn't want it to be. You squeezed his hand getting his attention. 'How about afterward me and you can cuddle and watch movies on top of movies.' You spoke holding out your pinkie. He looked from you to the finger you were holding out before smiling. He linked his pinkie with yours as you both pressed a kiss to them to signify your promise.

Breakfast was over before they knew it which meant that it was time for Y/N to head to class. Your coat was pulled to your chest and your bag stuffed with books and paper you would need for class.

Heeseung came around the corner with a coffee mug full of warm tea and a hat. You smiled at him thanking him before taking a sip of the warm tea as he placed the hat on your head. 'I'll be back before you know it.' You reassured him as he smiled before kissing your lips softly.

His heart warmed at the sight of you waving and blowing kisses at him from where he stood at the window. He knew it would be quite some time before y/n got back from her morning classes which meant he had some time to get what he needed to get done with.

He cleaned and swept the living room and kitchen making sure to put everything back in its correct place. He made his rounds cleaning and straightening up everything in every room.

This was an everyday occurrence. Each day you would go to class while he would stay inside and clean up the apartment. He wasn't a student like yourself and more a person who worked and did house chores when he had time.

While you were in class for most of the morning and sometimes the afternoon he would work shifts at the local cafe that was near the campus. Though part of him hated working there would always be a joy to it and that was when you decided to visit at the cafe during your lunch or just to say hello. It always made his day. He smiled at the thought as he sat at the kitchen table pencil and notebook paper in hand.

The would-be grocery list. He only had written down the basics which were milk, bread, and eggs because he knew y/n would want to add to it herself so he kept some room for her. He sighed laying his head against the table in relief that he managed to clean the apartment in such little time. The sound of ringing got his attention.

The familiar ringtone was what got his attention. 'Hello.' He answered the phone as he heard shuffling on the other end before the person spoke. 'Husband. Let's get going before I have to go back to class.' The person spoke as he grabbed his keys and wallet heading out the door making sure to lock it. He huffed at the change of temperature. The ground was covered in a blanket of white. The girl stood a few feet from him trying her best to make a snowman. He smiled.

'Shouldn't we be on our way?' He questioned your attention as you turned to make your way over to him. You laced your cold hand with his as y'all started your way to the grocery store. The warm air of the grocery store warmed y'all up as you guys entered. Both his hands were on the cart as he pushed it along with y'all. Your arms wrapped around his waist just like this morning with your cheek squished against his back.

The grocery list forgotten in his pocket. 'I think we should get cereal so you won't have to cook. Maybe some ready-made meals as well.' You spoke looking over the shelves full of different cereals. He hummed at your words. You placed the two boxes of cereal in the cart before going back to rest your head on his back. The cart came to a stop in a familiar aisle.

The cups and packs of ramen stared back at y'all. Soon the cart was full and items were packed away in bags as y'all made your way back home. The kitchen was now refilled with meals and snacks. You stood at the door placing your coat and other items on to protect you from the cold. He wrapped his arms around you placing kisses on your cheeks as you smiled at the feeling.

'Stay in. You already left me once today.' He protested as she gave him a look of contemplation. You chuckled as he kissed you and all over your face. 'Ok. I'll stay.' You agreed as he pulled away smiling at you with that bright beautiful smile of his. You were sure your professor wouldn't mind if you missed one class.

You lay tucked into his side as you two watched one of your favorite movies, My Neighbor Tororo. His arm wrapped around your waist not wanting to let you go. A cover draped over the two of you. You slowly slipped into a slumber as you were wrapped in his warmth yet again. It was your happy place. If someone told you that you would be living a domestic life with your boyfriend of 2 years you wouldn't say much but smile. Because that's all you needed to hear.

Below you'll find an explanation of why I'm starting this Challenge from the ground up, an apology for my former applicants, and the form to follow for your submissions! Thank you for indulging me for so long in my obsession with this blorbo of mine.

Why the plus? Because otomes will smack lil' plus signs on updated versions of their dating games, and I'm a dork.

Deadline for applications is April 1st! 🌸

Let's be real - I bit off a little more than I could chew the first time around! This new version of KMIK will feature gameplay-heavy storytelling with posed scenes in-between!

I want to make it up to the applicants who waited so long to see this Bachelor Challenge come to fruition, and I genuinely want Daniel to have a fair shot at meeting someone truly meant for him - so I'm opening twenty one slots: seven for my former Contestants (two of which are taken by Daithi Calloway and Josiah Bolton), seven for my former Outsiders, and seven slots for new sims! Of course, the final number will be decided by the number of slots filled!

These three houses will rotate group dates and challenges with Daniel as he whittles down the numbers. In-universe, Dan hates the spotlight of fame, and was an incredibly private man (bar his new cult following on SimTok) before being influenced to be the star of his own Bachelor Challenge by his (well-meaning) agent and siblings. He went into this in the hopes that the contracted work would mean he'd not have to worry about his mother's health bills or his nieces and nephews' college funds for a little while.

However, when he got actual applications in, pictures of real sims who had applied just for the chance to meet him, to fall in love with him... well, it gave him a cold shock of reality. After a period of radio silence, the studio released a statement that said Daniel was deeply sorry, but that he wanted to give this a fair shot, and that meant he'd have to be more open and honest about himself than he was ever comfortable being.

Though I am excited for this clean start, I do want to apologize to all of my former applicants - both for the time it took for me to go through the acceptance process, and the time it took you waiting for me to get back to my desktop... only to learn that the sims you made weren't even going to be used. Believe me, I am no stranger to the loss of a Challenge sim: and I hope that by offering you all an automatic spot in this new save, I can make it up to you a little!

The two existing male contestants (Daithi Calloway by @buglaur and Josiah Bolton by @retro-plasma) will remain in the competition, seeing as they were already written to participate as contestants. But given that I'm forgoing the Outsiders concept for the ease of the Bachelor Challenge format, I thought I would offer all of my Outsider applicants the chance to make contestants! As some of my former participants are inactive, I thought this was the best way to reach out - I am really going to be better about talking one-on-one, though.

NISHIMURA RIKI [西村力] ; Riki now Riki is not even going to give you the time of day. He avoids you at all costs because he knows what you are up to. PLS, HE’S AVOIDING YOU LIKE YOU HAVE THE FLU OR COCKROACH 19! One thing he didn’t expect for you to do was to text him. And of course he’s going to answer your text messages because he’s your boyfriend. But maybe it would’ve been better if he didn’t. “Are you anxiety? Because you make my heart race.” BEST BELIEVE THERE WILL BE NO RESPONSE AND YOU WILL POSSIBLY BE BLOCKED. PLS RIKI IS NOT GOING FOR IT!
