Test Ride Pt. 2 (Peter Parker x Android!Reader)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairing: Peter Parker (TH ver.) x Android Reader (with a robovagina) Rating: Explicit Words: 1189 POV: Second Summary: The Big Tober Day 10 - Robotfucking Note: A sequel to a piece I did for kinktober 2020. Reader is a robot and has no gender. Last time reader got a robopenis and I thought it only fair to give reader a robovagina this time. Reader's chest is unmentioned. Tags: robotfucking, unnecessary use of fancy words to make it more sci-fi, at least I don't put 'quantum' in front of everything to make it science, dom/sub dynamics, overstimulation, safeword ignored(?), robot tentacles as restraints, vibrating pussy, nipple play and software/hardware updates gone ' wrong'
A new HUD interface greeted you as you booted up after your last upgrade. Your physical statistics and environmental parameters were found in new places, but that mattered little. Your optics activated after a short delay, visual input now also available to you. Your creator stood before you, his lips moving, but you received no audio input. “Audio module connection failed,” you replied to whatever he said. You saw him curse, or at least that was your best prediction of what his expression conveyed. He motioned your head down. You bent at the hips, allowed him to unplug and reconnect your audio modules.
Once the cables reconnected, you could hear Peter clearly. “Please, don’t be ruined, please don’t be ruined,” he muttered to himself.
“All modules operational,” you informed him. He jumped at your voice, but let out a sigh of relief right after. “Awaiting command,” you added. As per usual after an update, Peter started poking and prodding your frame, confirming your sensory input was still operational. When he was done testing your basic functions, he dragged you to his bed.
“Program D.O.M. version V, please,” he spoke nervously. You detected an increase in heart rate and blood flow to the genitals. You confirmed the break command, as it was standard protocol, before you could execute the D.O.M. program. Once the safety protocols were satisfied, you had your digits on Peter’s clothes. You unbuttoned his flannel, revealing his pale chest underneath. There was minor bruising, but a quick scan revealed no serious injuries that were contraindications to the program. You pushed him onto the bed and started running your tongue over his chest, paying extra attention to his nipples.
Peter whimpered as you played with his chest, artificial tongue and teeth taking turns with your digits pinching his sensitive nubs. You kept track of his arousal, only stopping your onslaught once his involuntary noises got a little louder. You sat up, retracting your pelvic panel and rubbing your wet hole over Peter’s crotch. He whined as you slowly soaked through his jeans and underwear, until he could feel your wetness on his cock through his clothes. “Please, I need to be inside you,” Peter eventually moaned, his mind tethering on the edge of madness.
He was hard underneath you, so you deemed him ready for the next stage. With superhuman deftness, you removed his clothes until he was naked on the bed. His cock protruded from his body, the tip red and leaking. You wrapped a servo around his rod, stroking slowly as to tease him. When he started thrusting into the tightness, you placed your other servo on his hip, your mechanical strength counteracting his. He was forced to only take what you gave, which was exactly what he programmed you to give. It was not enough to get him even remotely close to orgasm, but the build-up was perfect to make him start begging. Once the begging got frequent enough, you proceeded on to the next stage; you mounted him, letting his cock slide into your wet and soft hole. Peter moaned, his eyes rolling back as you rode him at a decent pace. “Please, give me more, I’ve been good. I will be even better, I swear.”
His moans filled the room. You took his dick all the way inside and paused on top of him. “I will grant you more. However, unpermitted orgasms will be reciprocated with punishment.” He nodded, promising he would not cum. You decreased the elasticity of your inner walls, giving him a tighter squeeze as you proceeded to ride him. Your movements were quicker than before, fully intending to make him cum without permission. Peter was moaning to the ceiling, eyes squeezed closed sometimes and other times wide open. His mouth stayed wide open, tongue peeking over his lower lip.
Just as predicted, your inner sensors detected his cum painting your inner workings. You rode him until the spurts seized. Then you planted yourself firmly on him. Tendrils extended from your body and wrapped around his appendages. “You have disobeyed my orders,” you stated as you held him down and turned on the vibrations of your inner walls. Peter wailed as his sensitive cock was forced to endure the intense vibrations. He writhed against your restraints, but not even his super strength could remove you. Just like he had begged you before to fuck him, he was now begging for your mercy. You bent your upper body, putting a servo around his throat. You put a little pressure on the blood vessels below his jaw. Tears poured down Peter’s eyes as you forced a second orgasm out of him. You detected more cum inside you as he cried out.
After his second orgasm, you ran a scan on him, the analysis showing that he had enough. You removed your servo from his throat and turned off the stimulation or at least… attempted to. “Error: deprecated code, V-module unresponsive.” You stated, your tendrils no longer retracting and your hole vibrating on and on.
“What?” Peter exclaimed, clearly in panic. You ran a diagnostic check, your hole trying to reboot by first ramping the vibrations all the way up, so it could be brought down again. Peter screamed during the process, his brain unable to process the stimulation.
The tactic worked fine, but the module got stuck again at the same level of vibrations you started at. “Tendril module interfering with V-module. Attempting tendril reboot.” Peter did not perceive a word you said. As the tendrils rebooted, they lifted up a little, Peter’s body now hanging in the air except for his pelvis, where you still sat, vibrating his cock.
Peter cried, feeling like his brain had melted away from the intense pleasure. “Stark! Stark!” He screamed the break command. You tried to terminate the program immediately, but the backlog of reboots and diagnostic checks made it impossible. Your creator, against your predictions, came again, barely a drop of cum leaving him. He kept screaming, trying to get through to you. Just after his third orgasm, you regained control of the tendrils. In a flash, they were retracted and you uncoupled the module for now.
Peter’s cock was gradually turning limp inside of you. The poor boy was hoarse from screaming. Without the tendrils, you regained full control, the vibrations stopping instantly. “Thank you, thank you,” Peter whispered over and over as you lifted your frame off him.
“Program D.O.M. paused,” you stated, “do you wish to continue after a delay or shall I proceed with aftercare protocols?”
Peter laid starfish-style on the bed. His chest was heaving. He could use some aftercare, but it was hard to trust you right now. “Terminate the program all together,” he groaned, “initiate shutdown.” A second later, he was met with the sound of your vents shutting down and your pelvic plate closing to protect what was behind it. He was left in silence. As far as updates went, it still wasn’t as bad as that time Windows went from XP to Vista. He counted it as a win.

MORE ABOUT LIBBY AND #1202.
(this Sketch are the first concept about Libby and Dogday + a little Bit of lore of them).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
MORE ABOUT LIBBY:
Tumblr media
As mentioned above, she was an orphan who ended up in the playtime CO adoption program to be adopted by one of the employees at playcare, and was selected as to be one of the smiling critters, specifically; Dogday. (I don't think that the gender of the children is a great influence in deciding which children will be experiments for the bigger bodies initiative.)
She lost her parents because of a "strange religion" so the topic is something delicate for her.
Originally due to all the reasons, the team of scientists wanted to place it in "experimentation" as soon as possible (#1189-#1201); However, it started to be a problem when a certain Playtime manager had taken a liking to her and had her under some protection.
She was known for being a quite sociable and charismatic child among other orphans, however with adults she was a completely different thing being withdrawn and quiet.
She used to be constantly hurt and wearing Band-Aids (playTime co. trademark) due to her own childhood hyperactivity and was often an easy target for older children caused by the panic of not being adopted. (Libby in general did not usually betray them or return evil because she did not see the point of revenge).
Extra note: he reason for her appearance in the story (specifically her haircut and several of his clothes) is based on several protagonists of Ghibli films.
She favorite food was the po' boys sandwiches and chicken and waffles (which causes a misunderstanding when, already converted into dogday, he said "man, how much I would kill to eat a po' boy" and catnap left him the body of a deceased child).
Her favorites Playtime Co. toys are the smiling critters, Candy cat and PJ pug-a-pillar (although Libby was only able to buy 2 smiling critters at the toy store during his entire stay at playcare)
She hates the playtime Co. Doctor's, according to her because they were very rude and scary.
Libby "died" at the age of 9 due to an attack by the prototype.
About Dogday/#1202:
Tumblr media
It should be noted that Libby's clear annoyance and confusion at being turned into dogday made it difficult for the playtime co. scientists deal with him.
The biggest problem in being turned into dogday in a curious way was not the fact that it was referred to as masculine; Instead, they put Dr. Sawyer's voice on the voice box.
extra note: dogday has no problem being referred to as a boy (he/him), however it was VERY confusing for him at first and many times he did not respond or had a hard time saying that; so he started referring to himself in the third person "dogday says..." or "dogday thinks...". He keeps his true identity a secret so that there is no confusion about what to call him (although he will be happy when he is treated femininely)
Returning to the topic of the voice box, this was a strategy of scientists who were aware of the fear and rejection that Dr. Harley Sawyer and that unlike Elliot Ludwing, he did not have a very charismatic personality or very kind to them in general. So, adding the fact that they had to turn Libby into an experiment, they thought that if Dogday had the same voice and interacted with the little ones in a friendly way, they could trick the children into confusing the smiling critter's voice with that of the scientist. (Dogday refused to collaborate; being the one who fears and rejects the doctor the most, so he learned to imitate the cartoon's voice as best as possible).
Tumblr media
That made him create a sworn enmity with the scientists; constantly punishing him when the children did not see him, denying him food and when they gave him food it was portions of poor quality raw meat (which made Dogday prefer to endure hunger than eat it).
Tumblr media
Not counting that enmity with the scientists, due to his duties in the counselor's office as an assistant and "therapy dog" for the children who came, he had a broader perspective that there were "angel employees" and "evil employees." even witnessing when one was upset about the whereabouts of one of the children he was going to adopt and hearing their complains about not being able to get out of there.
About... PLAYER?!:
Tumblr media
(hell yeah... This story is more complicated...)
Remember when I mentioned that the reason Libby hadn't been experimented on before was because a high-up Playtime official had taken a liking to her? well, whoever she was the player is the person.
At first both were irrelevant to each other's lives (the player because he was just another worker, and Libby because of her shyness with adults); However, after an absurd incident with Barry's toy, it was enough for them to meet.
Once Libby had come into confidence with Player, she can't pronounce his name correctly, so she affectionately call to him as "Mr. Angel" and ran to hug him, give him drawings and crafts made in class whenever she could.
The scientists thought that perhaps it was a ruse to get the girl to believe in him, in any case they knew that he had already done more terrible things for the company... but they were shocked to know that he was taking the issue of Libby seriously as a legitimate adoption. even giving her gifts along the way (including the famous "tragedy dress").
Once Player entered the complex adoption process to be able to take Libby from Playcare, he learned the worst side of the scientists and managers of Playtime Co.; He spent two whole years fighting for it until he was able to find a legal loophole where either the girl would be handed over to him or he would publicly declare everything the company has done without caring that it would sink him in the process.
...unfortunately the day he was going to take her, she disappeared and only a bloody piece of the sunflower dress she was wearing that day appeared; and scientists left her for dead in an accident in the restricted area.
After Libby's disappearance and "dead", Player was never able to return to playcare so he demanded to be changed sections shortly before Dogday went into operation. They were never able to cross paths again.
a massacre and 10 years later; They cross paths again. Dogday cannot recognize his "Mr. Angel" and only called him that because it was the first time in a long time that he heard friendly footsteps; However, the mere fact that he referred to "Angel" and that player assumed that all the bigger bodies were children, it didn't take him long to realize that that poor ragged dog would be his sweet little Libby.
The shock of that possibility was so great that the mere idea made him remain paralyzed while the bigger dog said his monologue before he warned him to run away from there.
Extra note: in the timeline where he did react in time and saved Dogday from that cruel fate, he couldn't help but burst into tears and hug him, begging for forgiveness. while dogday would be confused.
About Theodore Grambel/Catnap/#1188:
(Let's not lie to each other, everyone even me came for this-)
Ohh boy... How I can start this?...
Their relationship was one-sized from minute 0.
Libby wanted to be friends with Theo however she wanted, because she considered him to be a very shy and quiet boy; Theodore, she tried to talk about him all the time with different topics until she could find a common topic.
Tumblr media
Theodore for his way... he only considered her annoying and a waste of time to spend with his true friend, 1006.
Which got worse when Libby realized that, like her, he was a fan of the smilling critters show and that it bothered him that Catnap had disappeared from the shelves (she was even able to give him his catnap stuffed animal to keep him happy; which he still thinks is a nuisance but he appreciates the stuffed animal)
When Theodore disappeared, Libby got really sad; while Theo couldn't care less that it was Libby's... that is, until her resistance to her poppy gas became present and Catnap had to be more aware of her. (in the end it could be useful to his angel)
Tumblr media
dogday also strived to be friendly with catnap and that it will integrate with the others.
That unilateral dynamic is cut when the theme of the "hour of joy" becomes present.
dogday understands everyone's motives in wanting to participate; but it starts to be a problem for catnap when your "and there's no other way?" along with their “and then what?” They made other toys start to doubt the prototype... that annoyance towards Dogday turned into legitimate hatred.
Extra note: In an alternative line where Theo likes Libby things would be slightly different, he would be rude because he doesn't know how to be sweet with her and he would even ask 1006 for advice on how to be romantic (of course it would end in failure).
Tumblr media
Despite everything, for Dogday things would only end up being him alone, being the last smiling critter standing, completely a prisoner and feeling stupid for having wanted to be friends with that thing called catnap.

The Sultan, they said, was a good man. Soft, quickly moved to tears. Out of compassion, he bought the freedom of a Christian woman's stolen daughter. Even Walther von der Vogelweide, the minnesinger in distant Germany, praised the "mildness" of the powerful ruler in the Orient, whose name has a good reputation in the West: Saladin, a righteous man.
He was a man who always kept his word, even to his enemies.
He let his subjects drag him to court, because God's laws applied equally to everyone. Also for him, the ruler who managed to do what no one had ever managed before: to unite the Islamic world of the Middle East after centuries of discord and to wrest Jerusalem, the holy city of the Muslims, from the Christians in 1187.
His name translates as "righteousness of faith", and Saladin is indeed a devout Muslim. Nevertheless, after his conquest of the Holy Land, he allowed the Christians and Jews there to continue praying to their God. This is another reason why, more than half a millennium later, Western Enlightenment thinkers would make him the epitome of the tolerant ruler.
But this al-Malik an-Nasir Salah ad-Din Abu'l-Muzaffer Yusuf ibn Ayyub ibn Shadi, known as Saladin for short, also had other sides.
He could be treacherous, vile and mean. He did not shy away from murder. Nevertheless, this man fascinated his contemporaries. He became one of the most revered rulers of the Islamic world and the most important opponent of the Crusaders.
Saladin was born in 1138 in Tikrit (in present-day Iraq), the son of a Kurdish officer. During his political career, Saladin was the first to bring Egypt's army under his control.
Saladin, a Sunni, now founds two universities where theology is taught according to Sunni theology - a signal that he is on the side of the population. He also abolished a number of taxes that contradicted the Koran and the teachings of the Prophet.
Saladin's subsequent conquests shock the Christian world. By 1174, his power extended from North Africa to the southern tip of the Arabian Peninsula. In 1186, he ruled from the Nile to the Tigris.
At the height of his power, the Sultan even dreamed of taking the Holy War to Europe, conquering Rome - and putting the Pope in chains.
The Crusaders conquered Jerusalem in 1099 and held it until Saladin besieged it in 1187 and handed it over to the Ayyubid dynasty, a Muslim sultanate that ruled the Middle East at the beginning of the 12th century.
Saladin wanted to recapture the city, which had previously been ruled by Muslims.
For Muslims, Jerusalem is a place where important events in the life of Jesus and other important personalities took place. It is also the place where the Prophet Mohammed ascended to heaven according to the traditional interpretation of the Koran and other texts.
In Sunni Islam, Jerusalem is the third holiest city after Mecca and Medina. Muslims believe that Muhammad was brought to Jerusalem during his night journey (Isra and Mi'raj).
The name Jesus is mentioned twenty-five times in the Holy Qur'an, often in the form 'Isa ibn Maryam, which means "Jesus, son of Mary". In the Quran, he is given the unique title "Messiah" (al-masih in Arabic), which means "anointed one". He is considered one of many prophets from the lineage of the Prophet Ibrahim, or Abraham (peace be upon him). Many Muslim traditions regard it as an ideal example of spirituality. Unlike Christians, who generally believe in a triune God, Muslims believe that Jesus was a great prophet who was to lead mankind on the straight path of monotheism and obedience to God (Allah).
When Jerusalem also fell, two kings and an emperor set off for the Holy Land with their armies from 1189 onwards. One of the monarchs is King Richard I of England. Even before the armed pilgrimage, he had already earned himself an honourable name: "Lionheart."
Saladin lies in wait for the Christians in the forests of Arsuf near the Mediterranean coast. But King Richard of England had anticipated the attack; on 7 September 1191, his troops won a clear victory. Nevertheless, the Muslim army is still strong enough to block the road to Jerusalem.
Saladin's reconquest of Jerusalem in 1187 prompted Pope Gregory VIII to organize the Third Crusade. From 1189 to 1192, Saladin lost Acre and Jaffa and was defeated in the field at Arsūf. The Crusaders retreated to Europe without seizing Jerusalem, but Saladin's military reputation had been damaged. He died in 1193.

Details on the Coronation Regalia
The heart of the Crown Jewels and housed in the Tower of London where they are kept on public display, the Coronation Regalia are sacred and secular objects which symbolise the service and responsibilities of the monarch. The Regalia have played a central role in Coronation Services for hundreds of years and, in keeping with tradition, will be used at Westminster Abbey on the 6 th May. As part of the Royal Collection, the Regalia are held in trust by the Monarch on behalf of the nation.
Tumblr media
Two Maces, made of silver gilt over oak, date between 1660 and 1695 and are the ceremonial emblems of authority which are carried before the Sovereign at events such as the State Opening of Parliament. Also carried before the Sovereign on formal occasions is the Sword of State, symbolising Royal authority; a steel blade with a silver-gilt hilt, enclosed in a wooden scabbard which is covered in velvet. In 1660 and 1678, during the reign of King Charles II, two such swords were made, the elder of which has not survived. The remaining sword has been used at several Coronations and, in 1969, the Investiture of The Prince of Wales. The sword is carried with the point upwards, and the scabbard carries the coat of arms of King William III.
Three further swords will be used during the Coronation Procession at Westminster Abbey; the Sword of Temporal Justice, signifying the Monarch’s role as Head of the Armed Forces, the Sword of Spiritual Justice, signifying the Monarch as Defender of the Faith, and the Sword of Mercy or Curtana, which has a blunted tip, symbolising the Sovereign’s mercy. The swords were first used at the Coronation of King Charles I in 1626, and the steel blades date back to the sixteenth century, with early seventeenth century gilt-iron hilts, and wire-bound grips. The three swords are carried without their scabbards, with their points up.
Tumblr media
The golden St Edward’s Staff, with its steel spike, was created by the Crown Jeweller, Robert Vyner, in 1661. It derives from an earlier staff which was often referred to as the ‘Long Sceptre’ and carried in fifteenth and sixteenth century Coronation processions as a relic of the Royal saint, Edward the Confessor.
Tumblr media
The Chrism oil with which The King and The Queen Consort will be anointed, which was consecrated in The Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem in March, will be contained within the Ampulla, made from gold and cast in the form of an eagle with outspread wings. The oil is poured through an aperture in the beak. The Ampulla was supplied for the coronation of King Charles II in 1661 by the Crown Jeweller, Robert Vyner, and is based on an earlier, smaller vessel, which in turn was based on a fourteenth-century legend in which the Virgin Mary appeared to St Thomas à Becket and presented him with a golden eagle and a vial of oil for anointing future Kings of England.
The silver-gilt Coronation Spoon is the oldest object in use at Coronations, having been first recorded in 1349 among St Edward’s Regalia in Westminster Abbey, and is the only piece of Royal goldsmiths’ work to survive from the twelfth century, having possibly been supplied to King Henry II (1133-1189) or King Richard I (1157-1199). It was used to anoint King James I in 1603, and at every subsequent Coronation. In 1649, the Spoon was sold to the Yeoman of King Charles I’s Wardrobe, who returned it for King Charles II’s Coronation in 1661, when small seed pearls were added to the decoration of the handle.
The Spurs were made in 1661 for King Charles II, but the use of spurs at Coronations dates back to King Richard I, the Lionheart, and his Coronation in 1189. The gold, leather and velvet Spurs symbolise knighthood, and they were altered in 1820 for King George IV.
Tumblr media
The Sword of Offering was made in 1820, and has a steel blade, mounted in gold and set with jewels, which form a rose, a thistle, a shamrock, oak leaves, acorns, and lion’s heads. The sword is contained in a gold-covered leather scabbard. It was first used at the Coronation of King George IV.
The two Armills are bracelets made from gold, champlevé and basse-taille enamel, lined in velvet, and are thought to relate to ancient symbols of knighthood and military leadership. They have been referred to during previous Coronations as the 'bracelets of sincerity and wisdom'. The Armills date back to 1661 and have been used at every Coronation from King Charles II’s until King George VI’s in 1937.
Tumblr media
A representation of the Sovereign’s power and symbolising the Christian world, the Sovereign’s Orb was made from gold in the seventeenth century, and is divided into three sections with bands of jewels, for each of the three continents known in medieval period.
Tumblr media
The Sovereign’s Ring is composed of a sapphire with a ruby cross set in diamonds. A symbol of kingly dignity, the ring was made for the Coronation of King William IV in 1831, and all Sovereigns from King Edward VII onwards have used it at their Coronations.
Tumblr media
The two Sovereign’s Sceptres will be used at Coronation. The Sovereign’s Sceptre with Cross represents the sovereign's temporal power and is associated with good governance. It comprises a gold rod, surmounted by an enamelled heart-shaped structure which holds the Cullinan I diamond. The sceptre was created for King Charles II, and the Cullinan I was added in 1901. The Sovereign’s Sceptre with Dove, traditionally known as ‘the Rod of Equity and Mercy', represents the Sovereign’s spiritual role, with the enamelled dove with outspread wings representing the Holy Ghost. It was created by the Crown Jeweller, Robert Vyner in 1661.
Tumblr media
As previously announced, St Edward’s Crown will be used to crown His Majesty The King at Westminster Abbey on 6th May, according to tradition. The crown was made for King Charles II in 1661, as a replacement for the medieval crown which had been melted down in 1649. The original was thought to date back to the eleventh-century royal saint, Edward the Confessor – the last AngloSaxon king of England. The crown was commissioned from the Crown Jeweller, Robert Vyner, in 1661. Although it is not an exact replica of the medieval design, it follows the original in having four crosses-pattée and four fleurs-de-lis, and two arches. The crown is topped with an orb and a cross, symbolising the Christian world, and is made up of a solid gold frame set with rubies, amethysts, sapphires, garnet, topazes and tourmalines. The crown has a velvet cap with an ermine band. St Edward’s Crown was worn by Queen Elizabeth II at the Coronation in 1953. The crown has been removed from the Tower of London to allow for modification work ahead of the Coronation.
Tumblr media
The Queen Consort’s Ring, a ruby in a gold setting, was made for the Coronation of King William IV and Queen Adelaide in 1831, and has been used by three further Queens Consort; Queen Alexandra, Queen Mary, and Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother.
Mirroring the Sovereign’s Sceptre with Dove, the Queen Consort’s Rod with Dove is symbolic of ‘equity and mercy’ and the dove, with its folded wings, is symbolic of the Holy Ghost. The Queen Consort’s Sceptre with Cross was originally supplied for the coronation of Mary of Modena, Queen Consort of James II, in 1685 by Robert Vyner, and is inlaid with rock crystals.
Queen Mary’s Crown has been chosen by The Queen Consort for the Coronation, as previously announced, marking the first instance in modern times of an existing crown being used for the Coronation of the Consort. Ahead of the Coronation, minor changes and additions to Queen Mary’s Crown are being undertaken, such as the as inclusion of the Cullinan III, IV and V diamonds which were part of Queen Elizabeth II’s personal jewellery collection for many years. The design was inspired by Queen Alexandra’s Crown of 1902. Like Queen Alexandra’s Crown, it can be worn without the arches in the form of a circlet, which Queen Mary wore for the Coronation of her son, King George VI, in 1937.
Tumblr media
The Imperial State Crown, or Crown of State, is the crown the monarch exchanges for St Edward's Crown at the end of the Coronation Service. The Imperial State Crown is also used on ceremonial occasions, such as the State Opening of Parliament. The term “imperial state crown” dates back to the fifteenth century when English monarchs chose a crown design closed by arches to demonstrate that England was not subject to any other earthly power. This Imperial State Crown was made for the Coronation of King George VI in 1937, but is closely based on a crown designed for Queen Victoria in 1838 by the Crown Jewellers of the time, Rundell, Bridge & Rundell.

The Coronation Regalia
The heart of the Crown Jewels and housed in the Tower of London where they are kept on public display, the Coronation Regalia are sacred and secular objects which symbolise the service and responsibilities of the monarch. The Regalia have played a central role in Coronation Services for hundreds of years and, in keeping with tradition, will be used at Westminster Abbey on the 6 th May. As part of the Royal Collection, the Regalia are held in trust by the Monarch on behalf of the nation.

铁马冰河 Armoured Horse Icy River; SVSSS' Luo Binghe's Name and Blood of Youth's Li Hanyi's sword. (Storm on the Eleven Month Fourth Day 十一月四日风雨大作 by Lu You 陆游)
When I first watched 少年歌行 Blood of Youth, I was thought Li Hanyi’s sword 铁马冰河 Armoured Horse Icy River sounded awfully familiar.  It took me half the series to realise that I was also looking at SVSSS’ 洛冰河 Luo Binghe’s name quite literally LOL.  In fact Icy River = Binghe.  IT WAS RIGHT THERE. 🤦🏻‍♀️
Tumblr media
The “Storm on the Eleven Month Fourth Day 十一月四日风雨大作” was written by the poet Lu You 陆游 in 1192. He was living in the countryside of his hometown, Shanyin, after his dismissal from the government in the 16th year of the Southern Song Dynasty (1189 AD). The poet was 68 years old at that time, but his strong desire to improve the country was impossible for him to come to fruition in reality, so on a "stormy" night, his feelings arose, and he realised his wish of galloping to the Central Plains in his dream.  Throughout his life, Lu You wrote 11000 poems but he’s known for his various patriotic poetries, and this was one of his more famous pieces.
风卷江湖雨暗村,四山声作海涛翻。
The wind has swept across the Jianghu.  Rain has fallen on the the village, seemingly dimming it.   There is the sound of wind and rain from all four sides of the mountain, like the waves rolling over the sea.
溪柴火软蛮毡暖,我与狸奴不出门。
The bundles of firewood from Ruye Stream and the felt wraps around me to keep me warm.  I stay at home with my cat. 蛮毡 This was a type of felt that was produced in the Southwest China and some areas in the South.
僵卧孤村不自哀,尚思为国戍轮台。
Living in a poor and lonely village; I’m not sad over the state I’m in.  In my heart, I have still have thoughts about guarding the frontiers for my country.
戍轮台 This was a common defensive structure in Xinjiang during the ancient times.
夜阑卧听风吹雨,铁马冰河入梦来。
Night is coming to an end as  I lay in bed and listen to the storm outside.  I dreamt that I was riding an armoured warhorse across a frozen river to the northern frontier.
风吹雨 This is literally translated as “listening to the wind blowing the rain” but I’ve summed it up as the storm in my translation.  This is an allusion to turmoil within the Song Dynasty’s court, which was why the poet couldn’t sleep at night.
Analysis
I think 铁马冰河 Armoured Horse Icy River’s sends a pretty obvious image; it’s that of someone charging into war.  In the case of Blood of Youth, this sword was supposed to be one of the most powerful in the Jianghu.  So it is indeed a very pretty name.
In the case of SVSSS, it’s also a fitting name for a protagonist of a stallion novel.  I’m guessing MXTX wanted a name that sounded like the lead character of an action novel lol.  His surname 洛 Luo does sound like the River Luo, or it could a possible wordplay on the word 落. Luo (ie. His name would be “Fallen into the Icy River” which was where hew as found). However, I felt that it could also be a reference to the river goddess 洛神 Luo Shen who was known for her beauty and her love story.  I’ve previously analysed a famous poem that describes her.  Perhaps MXTX wanted a “softer” surname to balance out his name XD

JavaScript Node.js PowerShell JSON Repeat
Lately, I've taken a lot of time to reacquaint myself with JavaScript usage in Node.js. Specifically, I'm learning all the basic things I enjoy doing in PowerShell: File manipulation (list, read, write) and data manipulation (parse, extract, interpret, summarize).
Specifically, my favorite thing is to see something of interest on a website and/or analyze a website's requests in the Network tab of DevTools (CTRL+SHIFT+I). It has to be something useful. Such things can be scraped for data I might want. The way I do that is in the Network tab of DevTools (Chrome, MS Edge). Looking at a request, I can right click and get the PowerShell (or other code) that would give me that exact same information in Windows Terminal. Then, I typically do an ad-hoc script to get what I want.
Current Web Scrape++ Project
The project that has my interest at the moment is one where I'm taking all the text of a copyrighted version of the Bible, then using DOM queries and JavaScript to get just the verse numbers and verse text per chapter from the HTML. It sounds as complicated as it is, but it's the kind of thing I do for fun.
Node.js comes into play when I want to loop through all the HTML I've pulled and sanitized. The sanitization wasn't easy. I kept only the HTML with actual Bible text - which reduced the HTML payload to less than 2% its original size. That part was in PowerShell and Visual Studio Code. But I digress.
Using the Console of DevTools, I already have the JavaScript I'll need to pull what I want from the HTML file data into an array of "verse" objects, which I can then easily translate to JSON and write out.
Next, my goal is to take the data, store it as JSON files, and then manipulate it with PowerShell. For instance, I wonder what it looks like if I replace the word "Lord" with "Earl" or "Duke". As silly as that sounds, that's the entire modus operandi for my project, which has been maybe as much as 6 to 8 hours. The rest probably won't take that long, but each step has to be pursued with the smallest steps I can think to make. (There's no use looping 1189 chapters / files of HTML text to get erroneous stuff, so I go small and then large.)

The Curb
Okay so this is very much based off of what happened to Markiplier a while ago, and if any of you follow him, the title pretty much gives it away lol. I felt so bad but it's comedy gold so worth it. I really hope you guys like it! Let me know if you'd like to be added to my TOG fic taglist ^_^
Word Count: 1189 CW: cursing, a very embarrassed Rowan Read on AO3; Rowaelin Month 2022 Masterlist
Prompt: trip to hospital
~~~~~~~~
There was no better way to explain what was going through Rowan over the past hour except embarrassment. And maybe annoyance towards the damned dog.
He knew he was the third wheel in the relationship, and he had accepted it. Fleetfoot had been a puppy when Dorian had gifted her to Aelin, and Rowan came into Aelin’s life much later on, but that didn’t mean he couldn’t harbor some lingering grudges against her.
Gods above, he was annoyed at a dog.
And yes, it wasn’t even entirely Fleetfoot’s fault what had happened, but if she had been calmer or maybe had followed him like she was supposed to, it wouldn’t have happened. Rowan wouldn’t be sitting in the ER, bleary and on a lot of painkillers, waiting for a doctor to come see him about his ankle…that he was pretty sure he had fractured, if not broken.
How was he even supposed to explain what happened to the doctor? It wasn’t like he was doing some strenuous exercise or anything of the sort. Rowan audibly groaned as he banged his head against the pillow underneath his head, willing for anything that would take the memory of the last hour away.
His day had started out normally, albeit a bit sad, but only because his wife was at work today while he was off. It was rare that they were off together, so he was used to it, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t upset about the entire situation. Since he was off, though, he had taken up the job of doing some of the house chores that the two had been neglecting to do after getting home from work, such as picking up the random clothing articles that had been strewn across their apartment. He knew he was missing a shirt, and Aelin was most definitely missing a bra or two, which he had found underneath the furniture in the living room, and he had made the mental note to maybe slow down next time.
But he was also sure that he was never going to remember the mental note.
When it came time to take Fleetfoot on her first walk of the day (yes, first), she was already practically bouncing off the walls with the excitement running through her body. Her tail was wagging, and she had pounced on him four times just while he was trying to get her leash around her body. Soon enough, but still not soon enough, Rowan had Fleetfoot all ready to go, and he was ready to go enjoy the sunshine and the pleasantly cool weather of mid-September while doing his best to wrangle a wild dog.
Honestly, he was somewhat jealous of the fact that while he was able to calm his wild wife, nothing could be done from his side to calm the wild dog. That was Aelin’s job.
And of course, with a wild dog came the hazards of having to keep a constant eye to make sure she didn’t eat anything she wasn’t supposed to or accidentally run into the middle of the road. Rowan knew that she was incredibly well trained and would listen to his commands, but he didn’t want to take the risk of other nearby dogs or Fleetfoot getting momentarily distracted by something across the road. And so there he was, a man with his dog, until he tried to cross the road because said dog was being ansty. Then, he was a man in incredible pain with his dog barkly loudly and trying to soothe him with her tongue.
The curb. He had walked off the curb on top of a sewer grate, and the uneven footing twisted his ankle far enough that he let out a grunt of pain before crumpling down as he lost the ability to hold his weight up. Fleetfoot had tried to help in the best way she could - with a lot of barking and nudges and licks to soothe him, and he had appreciated it at the time, but it’s not like the dog was going to help him up and get him to the hospital.
Unfortunately, that meant calling the one person he knew without a doubt would be free at noon on a weekday.
Fenrys.
At first, Fenrys had been concerned, like the good friend he should’ve been. Until he saw Rowan sitting on the side of the curb with Fleetfoot’s head hanging off of his thigh, her tongue out of her mouth as she panted. And then, Fenrys was doubled over laughing his head off as he leaned against the closest pole. It took them a few minutes to get Rowan into Fenrys’ car because the asshole kept stopping to laugh, and it definitely didn’t help that any movement sent a searing jolt of pain up Rowan’s leg. Eventually, they did make it to the hospital where he was put on painkillers and had X-rays taken while Fenrys was dog-sitting for him.
Which brought him to the moment when Yrene Towers Westfall walked into the room with a small smile on her face.
“Hey, Rowan,” she greeted as she picked up the patient chart that was clipped to the side of his bed.
“Hi, Yrene,” he attempted to smile back but it only turned into a grimace as he tried to shift his foot.
“So, it does look like you have a fracture running through your ankle, and you need to be on bed rest for three days and wear a boot for three weeks."
Rowan snorted at that. "A pediatrician on bed rest. Imagine how fun that’ll be when all the kids see the boot.”
"It would've been longer if Aelin had her way, though," Yrene gently teased. "She was supposed to take you until she saw your name on the patient X-ray."
"She’s listening outside, isn't she?"
"Yes, I am!" He heard her voice from outside the door. Yrene softly laughed before leaving a set of prescriptions on his bedside.
“I’ll see you later, Rowan. Take care,” she said as she left the room, and it was seconds before Aelin came in with a smirk on her face. Immediately, Rowan knew this wasn’t going to be good, and he groaned.
“You heard?” he asked, not even bothering to explain.
“You honestly scared the crap out of me when I saw your name when I was taking my next ER patient, Buzzard,” she teased as she sat down next to him in the bed and grabbed his hand, twining their fingers together. Her face was steady but her voice gave away the amusement. “But then I saw Fenrys brought you in, so while Yrene was looking at your X-rays, I called him. He gave me the gist of the situation.”
“I blame that dog of yours,” Rowan protested, albeit a bit weakly.
“That dog of mine was worried about you.”
“If the dog wasn’t so anxious to cross the road, I would’ve seen the grates.”
That brought out a loud laugh from Aelin, and Rowan wanted to smother himself with the pillow. “God, you’re never living this down.”
“Trust me, I know.”
Hadith relating to Al Masjid Al Aqsa
Below are a collection of hadith relating to Al Masjid Al Aqsa:
The Importance of Visiting Masjid Al-Aqsa
Abu Hurayrah (ra) relates that the Prophet (saw) said:
“Do not undertake a journey to visit any Mosque, but three: this Mosque of mine, the Mosque of al-Haram and the Mosque of Aqsa”[Sahih Muslim 1397]
Many similar Hadiths appear in Sahih Bukhari (Ref: 1189), Abu Dawud (Ref: 2033), An Nasa’i (Ref: 700) &  Ibn Majah (Ref: 1409). There are also other narrations from Abu Sa’eed Al Khudri relating the same message in Tirmidhi (Ref: 326) and Ibn Majah (Ref: 1410).
Great Virtue in Praying at Masjid Al-Aqsa
Abu Darda (ra) relates that the Prophet (saw) said:
“A prayer in Makkah (Ka’bah) is worth 1000,000 times (reward), a prayer in my Masjid (Madinah) is worth 1,000 times, and a prayer in Al-Aqsa Sanctuary is worth 500 times more reward than anywhere else”[Bayhaqi]
Abu Dharr (may Allaah be pleased with him) said:
“We were discussing when we were with the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), which is better, the Mosque of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) or Bayt al-Maqdis (Jerusalem). The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “One prayer in my mosque is better than four prayers offered there (in Bayt al-Maqdis), and what a good place of prayer it is. Soon there will come a time when, if a man has a piece of land the size of a horse’s rope from which he can see Bayt al-Maqdis, that will be better for him than the whole world.”[ al-Haakim, 4/509]
Anas Ibn Malik (ra) relates that the Prophet (saw) said:
“A man’s prayer in his house is equal (in reward) to 1 prayer; his prayer in the mosque of the tribes is equal to 25 prayers; his prayer in the mosque in which Friday prayer is offered is equal to 500 prayers; his prayer in Aqsa Mosque is equal to 50,000 prayers; his prayer in my mosque is equal to 50,000 prayers; and his prayer in the Sacred Mosque is equal to 100,000 prayers.”[Ibn Majah – Daeef Hadith]
Abdullah Ibn Amr reports that the prophet (ﷺ) said:
“When Sulaiman bin Dawud finished building Baitil-Maqdis, he asked Allah for three things: judgment that was in harmony with His judgment, a dominion that no one after him would have, and that no one should come to this mosque, intending only to pray there, but he would emerge free of sin as the day his mother bore him.” The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Two prayers were granted, and I hope that the third was also granted.”[Ibn Majah]
The Second House of Allah on Earth
Abu Dharr (ra) reported that he asked the Prophet (saw), “O Messenger of Allah, which mosque was first built on the surface of the earth?” He said, “Al- Masjid-ul-Haram (in Mecca).” I said, “Which was built next?” He replied “The mosque of Al-Aqsa ( in Jerusalem) .” I said, “What was the period of construction between the two?” He said, “Forty years.” He added, “Wherever (you may be, and) the prayer time becomes due, perform the prayer there, for the best thing is to do so (i.e. to offer the prayers in time)”[Sahih Bukhari 3366]
A similar Hadith is also narrated in Sahih Muslim (Ref: 520 a), and in Ibn Majah (Ref: 753).
The Importance of Donating to Masjid Al-Aqsa
Maymunah Bint Sa’d (ra) relates that she asked the Prophet (saw):
“O Messenger of Allah, tell us the legal injunction about (visiting) Bayt al-Muqaddas. The Messenger of Allah said: go and pray there. All the cities at that time were effected by war. If you cannot visit it and pray there, then send some oil to be used in the lamps.”[Abu Dawud]
The Virtues of Wearing Ihram From Masjid Al-Aqsa
Umm Salamah (ra) relates that the Prophet (saw) said:
“If anyone puts on Ihram for Hajj or Umrah from Masjid Al-Aqsa and then proceeds to the Sacred Masjid (Ka’bah), his past and future sins will be forgiven, or he will be guaranteed Paradise”.[Abu Dawud 1741 – Daeef Hadith]
The Blessed Land of Masjid Al-Aqsa
Zaid Ibn Thabit (ra) narrated:
“We were with the Messenger of Allah (saw) collecting the Qur’an on pieces of cloth, then the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: ‘Tuba [a prayer for glad tidings] ]is for Ash-Sham.’ So we said: ‘Why is that O Messenger of Allah?’ He said: ‘Because the angels of Ar-Rahman spread their wings over it.’”[Tirmidhi]
The First Qiblah
Al Isra Blessings For Ummah
Abu Hurayrah (ra) narrated that:
Allah’s Messenger (saw) was presented with two cups one containing wine and the other milk on the night of his night journey at Jerusalem. He looked at it and took the milk. Gabriel said, “Thanks to Allah Who guided you to the Fitra (i.e. Islam); if you had taken the wine, your followers would have gone astray.”[Bukhari vol 6, book 60, Hadith 232]
Ibn Mas’ud (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “I met Ibrahim (ﷺ) on the Night of Ascension (Al-Asra), and he said to me: ‘O Muhammad, convey my greetings to your Ummah, and tell them that Jannah has a vast plain of pure soil and sweet water. It is a plain levelled land. The plants grow there by uttering: Subhan-Allah, Al-hamdu lillah, La ilaha illallah and Allahu Akbar (Allah is free from imperfection; praise be to Allah; there is no true god except Allah; and Allah is Greatest).”
[At- Tirmidhi]
Masjid Al-Aqsa – The Best Place of Residence
