Seeing the redesign for Bane in BTNA reminded me of the somehow worse design they gave him in The Batman TV show where he just looks like the Red Hulk in gimp leather.

Wow. Just looked it up. He looks like a rejected Ben 10 monster. The Batman had some really good character designs but Bane really got the short end of the stick

even though the DCAU/timmverse could get incredibly dark at times (often with very clever writing through implication), i do think it was/is one of the few superhero media that gave genuine heart to it's characters. when i think, write, or imagine the dc universe, i think of how they were portrayed in justice league, BTAS/BTNA, JLU, etc etc etc
