Astro observations: celebrity edition part 2 aka latest news roundup
⭐️ Dua Lipa announced on her instagram that she's actually a Gemini rising as opposed to Libra. Now my Gemini detector told me that ages ago but I accepted the Libra rising just because it's my default token "plain good looking and polite" sign BUT it actually now makes much more sense in terms of house placements. Her Venus is now cazimi in the 3rd house - house associated with creative writing and thinking. The ever-changing and fast-moving Mercury is now in her 4th house of family and home situation and she's actually been always moving a lot between England and Albania. That healthy domicile Mercury as well as the Sun-Venus conjunction in the 3rd shows her close connection to family overall.
Funnily enough, her discovery took place during Mercury station in her 4th house. Talk about finding out your true roots (astrological, in that instance).
⭐️ We also now have the birth time of Elon Musk, who turns out to be a Cancer rising. Jupiter in his 5th house of children now makes perfect sense with his 11 kids (and probably counting).
⭐️ If you're wondering why Ariana Grande is the way she is, look no further than Moon conjunct Jupiter - aka her 7th house ruler multiply; as well as both being square to the Sun. Usually Sun square Jupiter can point to legal issues and excess while Sun square Moon often points to broken families. Now add that together and you have… a homewrecker, yaaay!
⭐️ I was thinking a lot about Blink 182 and Tom Delonge (his chart resembles mine a bit) due to him rejoining the band last year and now releasing a new Blink album. Natally, he has a retrograde Gemini Mars so I looked at his progressed chart to see the stationary period. Turns out his progressed Mars stationed direct early 2014, followed by progressed Sun entering Aquarius. Early following year the band announced that he left permanently. One of the things he focused on was research on the UFOs and work with the government. Of course, keep in mind progressed Mars stations for quite a while and his issues with the band lasted throughout the whole 2014 so it makes sense that the final split occured a year later. And why Mars? Well it can literally speak about our focus in life and our direction - where we put our energy. Not to mention Mars rules his MC so it brought him a massive turn in his career. So makes sense.
⭐️ Britney Spears just released a memoir book. Putting aside the questionable fact on who really wrote it, it stirred up a lot of drama. Her chart is one big mine but today I'm only focusing on current transits: she just had an eclipse in her first house of Libra. That eclipse landed right on her Pluto, which natally squares Venus (talking about toxic relationships and exposing them). Pluto itself is making last hits to those degrees as well as it's stationing direct in the late Capricorn. Interestingly I think Jupiter being in her 8th house can point to this as well - it lights up all the secrets and talks about working on past traumas. Now, you're also probably thinking, why was she involved with so many iffy people in her life? A lot of things in her chart point to that but what always struck me was her 7th house ruler - a malefic Mars - being in her 12th house of enemies. And it squares Neptune so they're also liars and exploiters.
⭐️ There's been A TON of celebrity breakups during this Venus retrograde season but I'm gonna quickly focus on Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner because their charts are an interesting example. Their synastry is mostly having planets in sister signs but this also means that if one of them gets hit with a transit, so is the other. Involve Saturn in that transit and you get trouble. Saturn is currently in early Pisces, where Sophie has some of her planets in the 12th house (loss, enemies). Her Mars (disputes, cutting) is at 4° of Pisces while Joe's Mars is at 7° Virgo - right opposite that. Saturn transit stirred up some proper drama: and Saturn is also coldness, being restrained and cut off. On top of that they also have their rising signs in the opposite signs of Aries and Libra and we just started having eclipses in those signs earlier this year.
Not to mention Joe's Leo Sun got hit by Venus retrograde and a Uranus square. Among other stuff.
FUN FACT: according to my research they met for the first time in October of 2016 when Jupiter was in Libra. So, interestingly, not only they had Jupiter going through their angles but Jupiter in their Davidson chart is in Libra.
⭐️ Taylor Swift is currently going through her 10th house profection year (Leo). It would make sense then that her career would take a turn this year considering that Venus was retrograding in Leo. Of course as it turned out she had a massive succes with her ongoing world tour, which is said to become the highest grossing tour of all time.
⭐️ A Vogue article popped up about Rita Ora's and Taika Waititi's wedding that took place a year earlier (they kept all the info and date private until now). Jupiter played a huge role in them getting married (as it often does, especially for a couple like them, who have it strong in their charts, which I wrote about HERE). At the time of their wedding Jupiter was at 8° Aries, which for Rita is that sweet spot between her Sagittarius Sun and Venus (4° and 10° respectively) and Leo Jupiter (13°) - as it completed a grand trine in her chart. Transiting Sun was also 12° of Leo, highlighting that trine even more.
Man I love astrology.
For Taika it was pretty prominent as well although his Jupiter aspects were more sign-based. He had a Jupiter return; his Moon is somewhere in the middle of Sagittarius so he received these fire trines as well. Interestingly, at the time of the wedding Saturn was at 22° Aquarius - exactly opposite his Leo Sun but also sextile his natal Jupiter. So for him it had a bit of a Saturnian flavour that called for stability and maturity.
⭐️ Similarly, I just read the other day that Frances Bean Cobain got married earlier this month. She has a Venus-Jupiter conjunction on top of her Virgo ascendant (interestingly Kurt had the trine between Venus and Jupiter - so seems like a family pattern). Also interestingly, transiting Jupiter is currently trining both her Venus and Jupiter (on the day of the wedding it was trining Venus exact), thereby her natal pattern got repeated. Jupiter is also her 7th house ruler.
Her now husband, Riley Hawk is having a nice transit of that Jupiter over his Taurus Moon - and remember, Moon rules the women in your family as well as your wife.

Sun in Scorpio ♏️🌊 Moon in Capricorn ♑️🌎
It’s another busy day for transits with one very impactful one giving us a significant boost.
We start the day with Mars in Scorpio (which is the star of the show today) in a trine with Neptune in Pisces sparking creativity and sensuality making it an ideal time to for romantic, artistic and spiritual pursuits.
The Moon in Capricorn squares Chiron in Aries bringing emotional vulnerability and a chance for self reflection.
Later in the day, the Sun joins Mars in the trine to Neptune in Pisces further enhancing our feelings, really sparking the desire for romance. New encounters could occur during cultural or spiritual connections or activities.
The Moon in Capricorn trines Uranus in Taurus which encourages emotional expression and brings in positive changes and it too will sextile Neptune encouraging even more creative expression. This also means that it will sextile the Sun and Mars in Scorpio energizing emotions and promoting balanced relationships. It’s a positive emotional boost that also adds healthy competition and effortless success in endeavors.
We finish the day with the exciting Mars Cazimi. Today for the west coast and early morning hours in the east coast, the Sun and Mars will be the exact same degree. Take advantage of this time. The manifestations and desires of the past New Moon receive added potency. We haven’t felt this energy in over three decades and it sparks the start of a new cycle with a serious boost of energy and motivation towards new endeavors.
Brace yourselves, you’re being propelled to take new action. Which direction is this going for you? 💚💫

May 2023 Important Dates
Tumblr media
AKA my notes on The Astrology Podcast's May forecast, hosted by Chris Brennan, Austin Coppock, and guest host Claire Moon. In astrology news, a lost astronomy work of Claudius Ptolemy's was discovered, hidden under a Medieval manuscript & found via X-rays. The same researchers found the tomb of who is now the earliest known female astrologer, Heliadora, who lived around the same time as Ptolemy and Valens. In other news a SpaceX rocket exploded on the eclipse, and Twitter removed verification (the Twitter story has been lining up with eclipses). With Pluto in Aquarius, there are discussions of what potential various AI applications have, and the Saturn-Neptune copresence makes it difficult for us to tell which audiovisual media is real or not.
We enter the month still in the middle of eclipse season (4/20 and 5/7) & a Mercury retrograde (4/21-5/14), which began within a day of each other.
May 1st - Sun-retrograde Mercury cazimi, Pluto stations retrograde This is Pluto's first station of many in Aquarius for the next 20 years. It's happening at the midpoint of the Mercury retrograde (began April 21st), where the path is now leading up and out of the underworld. We're redoing things, but the issues are ready to be resolved.
May 5th - Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Scorpio Eclipses tend to bring things to the surface that we won't normally see otherwise. It's a continuation of eclipses on the Scorpio-Taurus axis, and is the last one in this sign, but will be finally completed with a lunar eclipse in Taurus this October. The Moon immediately opposes Uranus after this encounter, and combined with fixed signs' resistance to change, it's going to be a bumpy one. Austin describes this as "toxic water."
A Venus-Neptune square preceding the eclipse softens things a bit--we may feel greatly relieved once this is over. However, be aware that this playful beauty may cloud our vision of reality. Don't mistake a good TV show for an actual representation of events.
May 7th - Venus enters Cancer Mars is still in Cancer, so there's still potential for discord in this part of our charts, though Venus applying to a trine with Jupiter (exact May 12-13) should ease things a little. This also puts her within trine distance of Saturn, who's in her sign of exaltation, bringing a bit of structure.
May 9th - Sun conjunct Uranus
May 14th - Mercury stations direct This brings some stability to Taurus, especially with Jupiter entering the sign soon.
May 16th - Jupiter enters Taurus Jupiter has been a bright morning star in Aries and, as ruler of this decan, has a performative, bombastic stage presence quality about it. He will eventually square Mars once in Taurus. Add that to Mercury, the Sun, Uranus, and the Moon around the 17th, we've got a big stellium in Taurus. We'll have friends and allies in the Taurus parts of our charts, and in Jupiter's sign Saturn can help us out. Jupiter in Taurus avails himself of and enjoys the knowledge that others have collected.
May 17th - Jupiter squares retrograde Pluto Immediately upon ingress Jupiter squares Pluto, who hasn't regressed out of Aquarius yet, and by May 19-20 Mars will enter Leo, Forming a T-square in these fixed signs. Mars-Pluto brings uncomfortable subtle powers, and Mars-Jupiter brings bold, enthusiastic displays of power (think Randy Savage), which may be disastrous for some but could work out very well for others. Jupiter is the quintessential opportunity: do you feel empowered to pursues this, or are there hidden powers at work? This T-square can also give a ruthless focus on one's goals and objectives. Are you willing to suplex the devil in a wrestling match?
In the news we should expect to see people taking big risks, and a worsening of existing military conflicts--though Jupiter may attempt to broker peace. As with Mercury, Jupiter-Pluto can indicate manipulation of information.
May 19th - New Moon in Taurus
May 20th - Mars enters Leo, Opposes retrograde Pluto Immediately upon entering the sign Mars is involved in the T-square discussed above. Mars can bring a burst of energy and drive, but also strife or conflict to this house of your chart. Next in this sign is Venus, who may smooth things over, and with her retrograde is certain to bring a LOT of emphasis in the sign. Where Mars goes, Venus will follow, though she slows down before they reach a conjunction.
May 21st - Sun enters Gemini
May 23rd - Mars square Jupiter T-square discussed above.
May 27th - Moon♍-Sun♊-Saturn♓ T-square (not pictured) The Moon will oppose Saturn along the Virgo-Pisces axis every month during the next few years, and we can better accept what's really there than when oppositions occurred along the Leo-Aquarius axis. Be wary of excessive self-criticism, though.
May 30th - Auspicious Election for the month
Tumblr media
Around 2:45PM local time, adjust until Libra is on the Ascendant. The Ascendant ruler Venus is at 24Cancer, moving away from the sextile to Uranus & towards a trine with Neptune. In the 10th house of career & public image, she's got some help from a square to the Moon with whom she has mutual reception. This further ties & strengthens the 1st and 10th houses. If you can get the Midheaven around 3-4Cancer, you'll get a nice trine to Jupiter and sextile to Saturn, mitigating Jupiter's 8th house placement and Saturn's in the 6th house. This is good for career, but not great for friends & groups, as Mars is in the 11th house.

Chiron in Astrology
How are YOU feeling after the Aries Solar Eclipse? As mentioned in my astrology of the week post, the solar eclipse was a particularly potent one because it conjoined Chiron. What I realized in hindsight was that not many astrologers (including myself) talk about Chiron. Sure, we mention the asteroid in passing—and only when it’s making a major move (like the Chiron Cazimi). But Chiron, as I’ve discovered lately, is quite a BIG deal in astrology.
Often referred to as the "Wounded Healer", Chiron plays a significant role in the birth chart and represents a profound area of healing and growth. Its influence is felt most acutely in the house and sign it occupies, as well as any aspects it forms with other planets. While Chiron's presence may initially evoke discomfort or pain, it ultimately serves as a catalyst for profound self-awareness and transformation. Here's what you need to know about Chiron in astrology and its implications in the birth chart:
The Myths & Symbolism of Chiron
In astrology, asteroids are celestial bodies that orbit the Sun, much like planets. However, they are much smaller in size compared to planets and are often referred to as minor planets or planetoids. While the planets in astrology represent various aspects of human experience and personality traits, asteroids add depth and nuance to astrological interpretations by focusing on specific themes or archetypes. Asteroids are named after characters from mythology, historical figures, or other significant names in various fields. Each asteroid is associated with specific qualities, energies, or themes based on its name and mythology.
Asteroids add layers of complexity to astrological interpretations, offering insights into specific areas of life or personality traits that may not be as prominently highlighted by the major planets. However, they’re similar to the personal planets in one key aspect: the insights we can gain from asteroids revolve around the mythological figures after which they are named.
In Greek mythology, Chiron was a centaur known for his wisdom, healing abilities, and mentorship of heroes. Despite his exceptional abilities, Chiron bore a deep emotional wound inflicted by a poisoned arrow, which he could never fully heal. This duality of healer and wounded being encapsulates the essence of Chiron's symbolism—a profound journey of self-discovery and healing through embracing our vulnerabilities.
Chiron in the Birth Chart
Chiron's placement in the birth chart reveals the specific areas of life where you may encounter challenges, struggles, or unresolved issues. Chiron’s position by sign, house, and aspects to other planets provides insights into the nature of our wounds and the potential for healing and growth. So, Chiron in Aries–or, Chiron square Mars—may indicate wounds related to identity, self-expression, or assertiveness, whereas Chiron in Libra, Chiron aspects to Venus, or Chiron in the 7th House, point to challenges in relationships, self-worth, and/or partnerships.

Chiron Cazimi Meaning in Astrology
In astrology, a planet is considered to be "cazimi" when it is located very close to the Sun, within a specific degree range. When Chiron is cazimi, it means that it is at its exact degree of conjunction with the Sun, within a few arc minutes. This positioning is significant because it amplifies the influence of Chiron and can intensify its effects on an individual's life.
A Chiron cazimi is thought to symbolize a moment of heightened awareness, insight, and clarity regarding the themes represented by Chiron in the birth chart. It is a time when you may experience a more profound connection with your inner wounds, insecurities, and vulnerabilities, as well as your potential for healing and growth.
During a Chiron cazimi, there may be opportunities for deep introspection, self-reflection, and emotional healing. It can be a potent time for engaging in therapeutic practices, seeking guidance from mentors or healers, or embarking on a journey of self-discovery and transformation.
Because Chiron transits encourages you to embark on a journey of self-discovery and healing. They prompt you to confront your pain, acknowledge your vulnerabilities, and seek healing through self-awareness, acceptance, and self-love.

Cosmic Update
Pluto has stepped into Aquarius this weekend past leading into one of the biggest cosmic events of 2024.
We had what is called a cazimi where Sun-Pluto in Aquarius was conjunct the Sun in Aquarius.
Pluto does go back into Capricorn for a very short time, then we have approximately 20-21 years of Pluto in Aquarius.
What does this mean?
It means that a new way of being is here!
Pluto represents TRANSFORMATION this is the planet (not planet according to science) of life, death, rebirth....in simple terms the old patriarchal structures and systems are on the way out. This has been happening however over the next twenty years it is really going to SHIFT!
Pluto is passion, power, control, depth, intensity, and dominating.
In the natal chart, natal Pluto can show where you have the ability (and need) to transform in your life.
The last time Pluto was in Aquarius was in 1748 when the revolutions happened....This energy is more for the collective, however if you have strong Pluto placement in your cosmic blueprint transformation is a foot.
This is a significant time to clarify how you’re using power now, and how you want to use it moving forward.
Aquarius is progressive, compassionate, justice-focused, and freedom-loving. Ruled by Uranus there is also the energy of rebellion and revolution. We are in the age of Aquarius and BIG CHANGES.
Full Moon in Leo
Ruled by the Sun, Leo is the celestial lion/lioness of the zodiac, reminding us of our life force, our strength, our energy, our magnificence!
Leo energy is one of leadership, compassion, vulnerability, strength, and love.
This energy is also powerful and a time to embrace your passions, feel more energised and shine your light, be in your truth and release that which is no longer your truth. Listen to your heart, be courageous and be open to accepting your own vulnerability. Stay on path.
During the Full Moon in Leo take some time to be in stillness.
Perhaps set some time aside to create a sacred space, have your favourite music playing, candles burning. I always like to smudge myself and my space when sitting in ritual or stillness.
Below I have shared a very sparkly aromatique blend with you. This can be made into an anointing oil in 10ml of jojoba oil.
Inhale it, anoint your heart area....Tap into your heart, take some slow deep breaths, as you breathe in feel gratitude and as you release your breath feel, see all that no loger serves you leaving through your breath.
Write down your thoughts and feelings. Take note of what comes up for you, what messages maybe coming through for you...enjoy this process and be open to receiving.....
Here is your beautiful aromatique blend for the diffuser.
With the Leo full Moon coming up let's add some more sparkle into your day with
6 drops Grapefruit - Boldness, Courage
3 drops Orange - Joy
2 drops Cardamom - Motivation
2 drops Neroli - Balance, Heart energy
2 drops Sandalwood - Release to move forward

On The Moon
Okay so I’ve talked a bit about the planetary hours before, and I’m pretty sure I mentioned the Moon, but I sort of want to talk a bit more about the sort of considerations you would give to the Moon in magic. I’m going to try and keep it as much as I can to considerations you can make without knowing how to draw up and read an astrological chart.
So the planetary hours are really one of the simplest ways to time magic. They’re very accessible and for that reason very widely used. That being said, the day and hour of Mars in itself is not going to be as powerful as say, Mars in Aries culminating at the midheaven with the moon waxing to full trine it or whatever. But without going into an in depth look at an astrological chart there are some considerations you can make to add something more to how you time spells or talismans.
The Moon is very important in traditional forms of astrology and astrological magic. It is the closest heavenly sphere, and the influences of the other planets and stars filter down onto the Earth through the Moon. In horary astrology, the Moon is also often treated as an additional significator for the querent. It’s a big deal. Even in folk magic traditions as seen in the Book of Gold (or maybe the long lost friend, or both, I don’t recall), the sign and phase of the moon play a big role in the timing of magic. Even Farmer’s Almanac’s make use of the Moon. So, if you’re to consider only one extra thing, it should be the Moon.
The Moon also happens to be the fastest moving planet, so in terms of accessibility you aren’t going to have to wait 2.5 years for it to change sign like you might with Saturn. Unless something is really time sensitive, you can push a ritual back a day so the Moon changes sign.
I’m going to start with the easiest things to identify and incorporate, and then work the way up to the more borderline chart interpretation stuff.
Phase
The Moon’s phase is just, so easy to work into things. You can really just go out and check what it’s looking like if you absolutely have no other way of ascertaining it by google somehow. Anyone who has picked up a mass market paperback on modern witchcraft/whatever will have read a copy-paste section on how waxing is for increase and waning for decrease. And honestly yeah, that’s about the gist. Most books on Western Magic will prefer a waxing Moon, simply because quite a lot of magic seeks to increase a thing. But you can work to decrease say debt, or illness, or whatever. So just by making your Jupiter talisman in a waxing Moon, that’s a step up.
One thing I will say is at least be aware of when the moon is combust (pretty much the day before and after a new moon, where the moon isn’t visible). In general, for astrological magic, no see planet=no good. There are certainly things this can be good for, and I’ve seen folk magic that specifically calls for this time period, but in terms of a planetary talisman or something of that kind, combustion is generally something to avoid unless there are other circumstances in play, like the planet is in a sign it rules, or Cazimi (which is a very close conjunction with the sun), which is conversely very good, unlike literally every other point of a solar conjunction.
Sign
You can also consider what sign the Moon is in when selecting a time. Continuing with a Jupiter Talisman, the Moon being in Pisces or Sagittarius works well, because those signs are ruled by Jupiter. That sounds a bit wishy washy, but it’s based on the concept of reception. If the Moon is in a planet’s Sign, that planet is receiving the moon as a guest when the Moon is in said Sign. This in turn gives us a link between the planet and the Moon, which is, to reinforce what I’ve said, the body responsible for focusing the planetary force onto the Earth and something traditional astrologer’s seem to spend a lot of time fussing about. Jupiter receives the Moon by exaltation in Cancer, which could be another one for that example, especially since the moon rules Cancer as well.
Aspect
The Moon being in an appropriate sign is great, but more often what you find books looking for is the Moon aspecting the planet, specifically by a trine or sextile. That would require a chart to be drawn up, and I’m sort of trying to keep this to things that don’t require the ability to draw up a chart or read a wheel chart. So, no degree based aspects. But, if you know where the planet is, so say Jupiter is in Aquarius as of writing, you might pick a day when you know the moon is waxing in Taurus, which is a sign based sextile from Aquarius (a sextile is 60 degrees, so 2 signs. Trine is 120 degrees, which is the same as moving 4 signs. A square then is move three signs and an opposition 6, for completeness). Extra brownie points because the moon exalts in Taurus. A degree based aspect is obviously preferable, but ignoring that, just googling what sign a planet is in and finding a day when the moon is in a sign either 2 or 4 signs onwards or previous is as good as you’ll get.
Beyond this point, I’m mainly mentioning things for completeness, because If the moon is a bit slow but Jupiter is really strong and everything else is good, just do it anyway. Plus these are starting to enter territory where you should really have drawn up a chart and they’re extra considerations to help find the best date for something big.
Lunar Mansion
There are 28 Lunar mansions for the just under 28 days of the Moon’s sidereal period. Christopher Warnock has a good book covering them, but they’re another consideration you can use, and there are a whole class of talismans specifically using the Lunar Mansions for different goals. Naturally if you’re making a Lunar mansion Talisman this will be much higher up the list. I think Lunarium has a widget that shows the current Lunar Mansion.
Speed
So this one I don’t know how you would evaluate  without at least an ephemeris, but there’s probably a calculator somewhere that can tell you what speed the Moon is going at. The idea behind this one is easy enough too: Moon go more fast, magic go more fast. The speed of the planet’s generally is quite important to some astrologers, and William Lilly seems to consider a fast planet a bit more dignified and a slow one a bit more debilitated.
Void of Course
Lunarium also has a little widget for this, but you should just make the damned chart and get over it at this point. There are a few different definitions of Void of Course which I’ve seen and I’m sure there are people with personal views on what does and doesn’t count, but personally I would consider the moon void of course if it is not currently applying to an aspect with a planet or Lunar Node. There are some that say “if it does not apply within the next 30 degrees” or “before the end of the sign” and a few others, but honestly just pick one and work with it and see what happens. To be honest I think the importance of VoC is overstated, but the idea is if the Moon isn’t applying to an aspect, it’ll be harder to achieve what you want to because there isn’t anywhere for the Moon to work on because it isn’t forming a new connection.
Anyway to tie it all together, without doing too much legwork you can decide you want to do a Jupiter talisman, and it just so happens that on a Thursday the moon is waxing in Pisces and you happen to know that Jupiter is in cancer (it isn’t but just pretend it is). Without having to read a natal chart, you have an election in the correct day and hour, with the Moon increasing it’s light, and the planet you’re working with is strongly placed, (mutually) receiving the moon, and making a good aspect with the Moon. That is quite a step up, and frankly beyond that you’ll want to start learning how to read a chart because this still doesn’t address like, Saturn and Mars. Like honestly by the time you’re addressing void of course you should really know how to read a chart.

The Magic of Horary Astrology
Question: Where's my diploma?
Context: Since I moved to my current city in March 2018, I thought I had lost my tour guide diploma. Yes, in addition to being an astrologer and a psychology student, I am also strangely a professional in tourism. I had already moved houses again and while packing I still couldn't find it. At this point I was already thinking it might have been in a dump somewhere. I don't practice my profession, but every now and then I'd take some time to go hunting for my diploma to see if I could still call myself a tour guide, or if I were dreaming when I took that course. Until quarantine came, and while learning about horary astrology in my new found amount of spare time, I finally saw my chance to solve the mystery. I didn't really know about the magic of this beautiful sacred science yet, and this chart to find my stupid diploma was what gave me my first time experiencing awareness of cosmic order, of fate, the lord of time, Saturn.
Tumblr media
First we take into consideration whether this chart will answer my question or not. This is a 2nd house type of question and the fact that the ascendant is on the triplicity, bounds and face of the 2nd lord (Mars) validades this chart. It's also the day of Mars and the hour of Mercury, the natural significator of documents, while it's going through a Cazimi moment. And the Moon is in the house of lost things, further emphasizing the subject.
The 2nd house lord is representative of my possessions, especially those that add value and support to me, like a diploma. Mars being that in the 1st house almost rising tells me not only that I had it all along, but that I'm about to find it pretty soon.
It only took me 5 minutes of opening this chart to solve a 2 years mystery. I was even more of a beginner in horary, but the position of the 2nd lord had me jumping from my bed to look for it before I could interpret anything more deeply. I looked at my wardrobe and I had a feeling; I went to it, took a quick look inside; then took a look around the room thinking, and then I knew I had to look inside the box that was on top of the suspended cabinet where I keep my sewing material above my bed. The box had a bunch of frames my mother bought because she wanted to hang all our diplomas and pictures on a wall, like a real Cancer mom, and I didn't let her because I thought it was corny. My diploma was inside one of the frames, but hidden between some other documents.
Mars is in Aries, so, according to William Lilly:
Places ♈️signifies. - Where sheep and cattle do feed, sandy or hilly grounds; a place of refuge for thieves, (as unfrequented places); in houses, the covering, cieling, or plastering; a stable for small beasts; lands newly taken in or recently ploughed, or where bricks or lime has been burnt.
Fire signs represent high places as Lilly emphasizes, because fire goes up and it's the lightest element. But also, the top of the cabinet above my bed is the closest thing I have to a "stable for small beasts" in my apartment, because that's where my cats like to take their naps, inside another box with their cushions.
Mercury Cazimi is the moment when Mercury is right at the heart of the Sun. When a planet is near the Sun, it represents something made invisible, since the Sun outshines everything. Mercury retrograde can bring things back and when it goes Cazimi there can be a revelation. Obviously, he's the natural ruler of documents and my diploma is having a powerful moment, finally showing up after years hidden in the comfort of my home (4th house), while the Moon is separating from it to transfer its light to me, Jupiter in Capricorn.
But there's a particularity about this. This whole thing was a Mercury retrograde-cazimi complete experience, because it was also a wonderful 9th house transit for me, as a realization through divination. It gave me a feeling of revelation when it worked, my face felt like it was reddening and my heart raced a little bit; I never felt so inside the world, like existence means something. It made me laugh and everything started spinning since then.

November 2020 Cosmic Events
I actually wrote a note in my planner about doing this last weekend (Oct 17), but there were those damned forest fires nearby and I needed to pack a suitcase just in case. (Turns out the fires moved northward, and we live southeast. Whew.) Anyway, here we go for a somewhat mellower month:
Sunday, November 1 - in the US, fucking awful stupid Daylight Savings Time ends, at 2:00 am local time. At least we get an extra hour of sleep.
Tuesday, November 3, 17:50 UT - transiting Mercury stations direct, 25:50 Libra
Yippee!!
Friday, November 6, 23:14 UT - Scorpio cross-quarter day (the Sun reaches 15 degrees 0 minutes 0 seconds of the sign Scorpio)
Sunday, November 8 - Mercury leaves its “Storm” period, and begins to move faster than 40 minutes of arc per day.
Monday, November 9, 14:38 UT - transiting Ceres re-enters Pisces
Monday, November 9, 14:51 UT - transiting Vesta enters pre-retrograde shadow, 6:42 Virgo
Tuesday, November 10. approx 17:00 UT - Mercury’s greatest western elongation, 29:47 Libra
Tuesday, November 10, 21:55 UT - transiting Mercury re-enters Scorpio
Thursday, November 12, 21:39 UT - the final Jupiter-Pluto conjunction, 22:51 Capricorn
Departing from the format to say: this will most likely manifest as another spike in coronavirus cases - here in the US, if we haven’t already shut down, we probably will, close to this day. (I don’t see that happening before the election, unless Dolt 45 gets truly desperate.) The Lady Asteroid Pallas Athene is also exactly conjunct Jupiter and Pluto today - and the Lady Asteroid Vesta/Virgo is exactly sesquare (135 degrees) Pallas Athene, Jupiter, and Pluto. JFC.
Saturday, November 14, 00:36 UT - transiting Mars stations direct, 15:14 Aries
Yippee!!
Sunday, November 15, 05:07 UT - New Moon, 23:18 Scorpio
Thursday, November 19, 21:04 UT - transiting Mercury exits post-retrograde shadow, 11:40 Scorpio
Yippee!! However, the very next day....
Friday, November 20 - begin “shadow of the eclipse” period
Saturday, November 21, 13:22 UT - transiting Venus enters Scorpio
Saturday, November 21, 20:40 UT - transiting Sun enters Sagittarius
Sunday, November 29, 00:36 UT - transiting Neptune stations direct, 18:10 Pisces
Monday, November 30, 09:30 UT - Full Moon/Eclipse, 8:38 Gemini
And look, I remembered to add the Opportunity Periods!!
Saturday, October 31, 14:49 UT - Monday, November 2, 10:00 UT. “An innovated and constructive period, but because Mercury is retrograde, use it on matters begun before October 7.” (October 7 is when Mercury first entered its “Storm” period, moving less that 40 minutes per day. Merc had entered its pre-Rx shadow way back on September 23, if you prefer to go back that far.)
Wednesday, November 4, 00:43 UT -  13:49 UT. “Clear thinking with this Moon in Gemini OP, even with Mercury stationary.”
Sunday, November 8, 13:46 UT - Monday, November 9, 11:05 UT. “A very good time for closing a deal or for socializing and having fun.”
Tuesday, November 10, 21:53 UT - Wednesday, November 11, 10:58 UT. “Use this OP for productivity, getting organized, and tidying up.”
Saturday, November 14, 23:37 UT - Sunday, November 15, 00:37 UT. “This Cazimi Moon is usable 1/2 hour before and 1/2 hour after the Sun-Moon conjunction. If you have something important to start around now, this is a great time to do it.”
Thursday, November 19, 16:16 UT - 17:30 UT. “Just a short time to do the right thing.”
Tuesday, November 24, 01:18 UT - 10:44 UT. “A nice opportunity to gently start something new and positive. Good for anything, especially for the arts and healing.”
Sunday, November 29, 08:33 UT - 16:16 UT. “With the Moon in down-to-earth Taurus, use this OP for practical projects.”

Venus Cazimi in Aries + conjunct Chiron ♈
Venus symbolizes that energy which seeks harmony, whether through relationships, the love of another person, or love of beauty as expressed in the arts.
However, since it’s in detriment in Aries and conjunct Chiron, this may highlight a certain vulnerability when it comes to relationships on a collective level.
This transit has to do with the matters of the heart and disciplined action to overcome tense, stressful, lonely and challenging emotions. You may feel more vulnerable (Chiron) in your relationships (Venus) and the impact other people have on your self-worth (Sun).
The Sun’s exaltation in Aries is a reminder that we need to take care of our own selves first before we can take of others (Venus-Chiron).
This transit lasts until April 14. 💕

Sun in Libra ♎️💨 Moon in Capricorn ♑️🌍
The social aspects continue and are heightened today as the Sun and Mercury continue to hold hands as they ride the sky together in a Cazimi in social and relationship oriented Libra.
Deep insights, reunions, new connections, important conversations, making new agreements, finding balance in difficult situations, gaining clarity. These are all part of this transformative transit bringing mindfulness, balance and fairness into our awareness.
Now that the Moon is in Capricorn, it’s a great time to share your ideas with others but with Mercury and the Sun in Libra squaring Pluto in Capricorn be aware that you could come off as overly assertive and controlling.
The good news is we have some really grounded energies to add to all that air energy with a grand trine in the sky, in the earth signs. The Moon in Capricorn, Venus in Virgo and Jupiter in Taurus in a trine will help tone things down. By the afternoon we’ll feel more organized and able to work toward better decision making, helping us find our footing in what we’re dealing with or pursuing.
A lot of important decisions can be made at this time and can drive home the lessons we have learned through the conversations we’re having. How are you transforming during these powerful transits? ☮️💚✨
