I think.. Ruin is innocent only as long as Eclipse is suspicious of him. Cos of narrative tropes, you know?

While Moon was the most suspicious, there was definitely an angle of 'aha! my paranoia was justified!' that could be taken.

With Eclipse being the most suspicious of Ruin, Ruin has to be innocent. Because Eclipse is a 'not-exactly-retired-but-currently-on-hold' antagonist. As an antagonist, Eclipse cannot be allowed to be right. Because if he's right, it means that the good guys are wrong, and good guys can't be wrong even when they are the narrative just ignores it i will never get over the fucking time out box i will never get over the fight.

So pretty much the moment Eclipse figures out someone else to hound, its gonna be like 'ah, yeah, it's Ruin'.

(Anyway the idea of it actually being Ruin makes me a little sad, even though your points are exhaustive AND excellent, I'd recently found out about the spell copying myself-- but like. This fandom decided KC was a dad and that Lunar and Eclipse secretly miss having a sibling relationship, I am more than capable of tossing a blanket over Ruin being the culprit and going 'nope! 8D' for fanwork purposes XDDD)

I mean you're totally valid.

And I think it'll be actually interesting for the heroes to be wrong.

Right now the track record is really bad with Lunar killing Eclipse.

(Although I will cry about KC's missed potential forever. KC had no reason to NOT fight and had no reason to disown BM so hardily. )

Although. Eclipse never said he hated Lunar.

Eclipsev3 wanting to use Lunar as a battery came at him because a Directive put it in his head to do it. That's why he was talking to himself and seeing hallucinations of himself. He was losing it (and he'll lose it more) But Eclipse never said he hated Lunar. Eclipsev2 also never killed him. He left him alive intentionally. He was all powerful. He knew he left a nanobot alive. He wanted to kill part of himself.

Lunar said a deep desperate part of him wants to go crawling back to Eclipse. (said in LAES when Moon and Lunar had their therapy talk with Earth.)

However. Ruin has just lied about everything. I do not trust him as far as I can throw him.

And we sadly already know what Cured Ruin Sounds like....... And The Ruin that we have now... DOES NOT sound like that.

Davis was clearly channeling Fnaf Canon Eclipse for Ruin during the small times he broke through with his "help me"s.

And the Ruin we have today certainly just sounds the exact same as Virus Ruin, just more timid and less crazy.

Also... Eclipse V2 before he died said some interesting things THAT HAVE ALL COME TRUE SO FAR.

Star beings that are coming, Lunar being the key to set things in motion.... All of Eclipsev2's predations before his death came true.

Evil!Sun says that he knows who Made Eclipsev3-4. He also told Moon to listen to Eclipse.

So far. Eclipsev3's number one suspect is Ruin.

Evil!Sun basically told Moon like "I know who it is. Listen to the crazy person who is hacking out a lung to talk to you."

So for me personally, I think it's explicitly confirmed who made him at this point.

Daaayummm, that was a good line LOL got me there XDD

Favorite thing about Donna though! That's a very good question, I really can't pick because I deeply love all of her and think every aspect of Donna ties together wonderfully to create a very interesting character that just appeals more to me personally. Though, if I have to answer, I'd say that it's her personality! Sure, most of it comes from fan interpretation BUT, I just love it as well as that the mainly softer and more timid self she mainly shows (and ofc along with the darker, unhinged, etc. side 💕) feels more natural for her because of her in-game behavior. To me at least!!

Before we get into this, everything down here is written from my memory of RE8 and Resident Lover. Just in case anything is a bit inaccurate or incorrect

We can't forget that in-game she was the impressive mastermind of a terrifying labrynth, and the hallucinations she used to mess with Ethan's mind to draw him further into the "game" were very interesting as well as scary. I've heard from others, and I myself agree that Donna's house is the scariest part of RE8. She herself may appear to be a very timid, mysterious and grief-stricken woman but she is very smart (Miranda's notes of her being "mentally underdeveloped" are likely due to things like mental illnesses she may have, or if she is neurodivergent. We don't know because it doesn't say but clearly she can be a very capable individual, even if she wasn't to Miranda's standards...which were really just trying to get as close to "perfection" as possible. Not even Miranda's more "favored" children were good enough for her true purpose. Just good pawns and fodder). It's clear she knew what she was doing and regardless of why (whether it's because she wanted to toy with Ethan or simply out of desperation to follow orders and either keep him there or kill him), she was definitely creative, calculated, and targeted deeply personal things about Ethan (that being his wife Mia and him being a father).

But just looking at her and reading up on her (as well as listening to her only voice line- which I'm still sad about), you can see she's very mysterious and reserved. Angie is quite literally the most "personality" anyone sees in comparison to what Donna brings. I love that it leaves so much room for you to mess around with things but also that through so little you can really see a lot at the same time.

The fan game Resident Lover especially had me falling in love with Donna lmfaoo. She's just so sweet and shy and jumpy. <3 But then you can clearly see multiple times that she's not some helpless thing. She can and will take charge and be serious (and even dangerous/frightening) when she needs to (this is also shown in other routes). And then when her and MC get together, she's just constantly showering them in love and affection and id be lying if I said I didn't absolutely adore that XDDD I think Resident Lover did a good job of making Donna feel like well...Donna! While also adding to her.

Honestly I like most interpretations of Donna, especially when they incorporate all those different aspects. 😄😄

So Shinobu, y/n's girlfriend, agrees to go with Mui to buy y/n something special (he forgets what y/n likes often, so he needs some advice.) Y/n, at the same time, is also buying him gifts (but will only give them to him a week later when his birthday comes.)

So Mui calls y/n if she's home yet. She says no, she's with Shinobu. He knows she lied. Y/n also asks him why he's doubting her answers. But he wouldn't blatantly say that he knew y/n was lying because Shinobu, her girlfriend, is hanging out with him tonight without her knowing.

So they're both trying their best to keep their secrets until someone has to give in.

This request was the earliest one in the queue, and it's my first time writing a platonic scenario, so I apologize if I didn't capture it accurately. I'm sorry for the delay, and I hope it still meets your expectations!

"Do you think nee-san would like this?” Muichiro questioned, gesturing towards a pendant that appeared too large for a woman to wear. Shinobu responded with a smile, shaking her head softly.

"She doesn't prefer extravagant accessories," Shinobu replied, using hand gestures to direct Muichiro's attention to some simpler bracelets displayed at the vendor stand. Muichiro leaned forward, examining the accessories with interest. Muichiro examined the simple bracelets that Shinobu had pointed out, his gaze focused on their design and craftsmanship. He carefully considered whether Y/n would appreciate them.

Shinobu couldn't help but chuckle softly, finding it endearing how Muichiro, despite being Y/n's younger brother, was struggling to find a suitable present for her. His usual absent-mindedness had caused him to forget what Y/n liked, but he still had the sincere desire to buy something for his older sister. After all, who knew Y/n better than him? Except, Shinobu as Y/n's girlfriend.

"These bracelets seem more understated and elegant," Muichiro remarked, voicing his thoughts. "I think nee-san would prefer something like this. It's not too flashy but still beautiful."

Shinobu nodded in agreement. "Yes, I believe she would appreciate the simplicity and subtlety of these bracelets. They would complement her style well."

Muichiro gently picked up one of the bracelets and turned it in his hand, admiring the delicate details. "I think I'll get her one of these.”

“Do you plan on wrapping them out?” Shinobu asked.

Muichiro pondered Shinobu's question, considering the possibility that Y/n might not be at home when they returned. He wanted to surprise her with a beautifully wrapped gift, but the uncertainty gave him pause.

After a moment of contemplation, Muichiro replied, his voice gentle. "I do have gift wrappers at home, but I'm not sure if nee-san is there at the moment. It might be best if we wait until we know for sure before wrapping the gift."

Muichiro reached into his pocket and retrieved his phone, dialing Y/n's number. After a few rings, her older sister answered the call.

"Oh, hey Mui!" Her voice came through the phone, accompanied by some muffled voices in the background, indicating she might be outside.

"Are you home right now?" he inquired, holding the phone close to his ear to catch Y/n's response. Shinobu leaned in slightly, trying to listen in as well.

“Nope, I’m not. Why?” Y/n returned a question. Muichiro felt a sense of relief as Y/n confirmed that she wasn't at home. It meant he could proceed with wrapping the gift without worrying about spoiling the surprise.

“Nothing. I just wanted to ask.” He said, not wanting to reveal his surprise.

“I’m with Shinobu right now, so don’t worry!” Y/n replied.

Muichiro blinked in surprise at Y/n's response, he glanced at Shinobu, who was trying to suppress her laughter, and a puzzled expression crossed his face.

"I see…?" Muichiro replied cautiously, unsure why Y/n would lie about Shinobu being with her. "Well, if you're busy with something, I won't keep you. We'll catch up later then."

Y/n's voice held a hint of nervousness. "Oh, um, yeah, you sound like you don’t believe me though.”

“Ah-? No…” Muichiro hesitated for a moment, glancing at Shinobu, unsure how to respond. Enjoying the unfolding scene, Shinobu simply offered a small smile. Muichiro had kept the plan of having Shinobu, Y/n's girlfriend, accompany him in choosing a gift for her a secret. He wanted it to be a surprise and didn't want to give it away too soon.

"Anyways… Have fun with Shinobu, nee-san," Muichiro finally said, bidding farewell and ending the call. His confusion lingered as he turned to Shinobu, who continued to chuckle.

"Did Y/n just lie about me being there with her?"

Muichiro nodded, Shinobu’s amusement subsiding as she noticed his confusion. "It seems so. I'm not sure why she would do that. Maybe she has her reasons?”

Little did they know, she too was buying a present for her younger brother, Muichiro, and Y/n used Shinobu as an excuse to avoid raising any suspicion. However, what she didn't realize was that Shinobu was actually spending time with Muichiro at that very moment.

“Crap…” Y/n muttered a curse under her breath, uncertain whether Muichiro had seen through her lie or had deduced her true intentions due to his sharp observational skills.

After ending the call, Y/n quickly sent a text message to Shinobu, requesting a favor. She asked Shinobu to cover for her in case Muichiro asked about her whereabouts, requesting Shinobu to say that she was with her. Y/n hoped that this would provide a plausible explanation and alleviate any suspicions Muichiro might have.

Receiving the text, Shinobu's laughter echoed through the air as she read Y/n's message, clearly amused by the amusing scenario unfolding. Her eyes sparkled with amusement as she shared the message with Muichiro.

“Can nee-san be doing something illegal- Is that why-..” Muichiro's eyes widened in surprise at the sudden dark thought that crossed his mind.

"No, no, that's not it at all. I highly doubt Y/n would be involved in anything illegal.” Shinobu's laughter continued, her hands swaying dismissively.

“… Right.” He shook his head quickly, dismissing the idea.

Shinobu's amusement was evident in her expression and demeanor. She found the unfolding scene between Muichiro and Y/n to be quite entertaining, appreciating the playfulness and lightheartedness of the moment. As she observed the interaction, she couldn't help but feel a fondness for the bond shared between the two siblings.

Both Y/n and Muichiro were completely unaware of each other's true intentions, which only added to the adorable and heartwarming nature of the situation. Both of them were fully focused on creating a special surprise for the other, and their determination to keep it a secret only added to the charm of the moment.

After settling the present to Y/n, Muichiro went back home, his heart skipped a beat as he entered the house and was met with the surprising sight of Y/n standing there, holding a wrapped box in her hand. The shock was mirrored in both their expressions, and for a moment, silence enveloped the room, filling it with a sense of anticipation and curiosity.

Muichiro found his voice first, his eyes widening slightly. "Nee-san, what... what is that?" he asked, gesturing towards the wrapped box in her hand.

Y/n blinked; her surprise evident. "I could ask you the same thing, Muichiro. What's in your hands?" she responded, her voice filled with a mixture of confusion and curiosity.

Realizing the coincidental situation, they found themselves in, Muichiro and Y/n couldn't help but exchange a brief moment of laughter, the tension dissipating as they shared the realization that they had both prepared surprises for each other.

Breaking the silence, Y/n spoke with a sheepish smile. "I... I was actually preparing a surprise gift for your birthday. I had no idea you had one for me as well."

"It's still a surprise until I unwrap that box.” Muichiro replied.

“Sadly, I couldn't do the same for mine," He added, his words expressed with a tinge of disappointment, recognizing that Y/n would be able to see his gift as he couldn't wrap it.

"For you, nee-san." He revealed a beautifully crafted bracelet with simple yet elegant designs and handing it to Y/n.

Y/n's eyes softened as she received the beautifully crafted bracelet from Muichiro. Her gaze shifted from the gift to her brother, a mixture of gratitude and affection in her expression. "Thank you, Muichiro," she said, her voice filled with warmth and appreciation.

"I'm glad you like it, nee-san," Muichiro responded, his voice filled with sincerity. "I wanted to choose something that would remind you of our bond and the love we share as siblings. Every time you wear it, I hope it serves as a constant reminder of how special you are to me."

Y/n nodded, a soft smile gracing her face. "You'll have to wait until your birthday to see your gift, though," she teased playfully.

"I'm sure it's a wonderful surprise, and I can't wait to see once I unwrap it."

remember I mentioned something about coming out again? Well, I guess this is it ^^; I'm literally, physically, sick because of how alienated and disconnected I feel from other people and my gender identity has a lot to do with it. It's horrible, it feels horrible. A lot of gender stuff and feelings are internal, but there's social aspects too and, while I got the internal stuff figured out, the social ones have been a nightmare to navigate

prior to coming out as trans, I flirted with the bigender label, but faced the semantic issues that came with it and it didn't fit so.. trans binary, then nonbinary, androgyne, demiboy/girl, etc etc etc until settling on agender.. "trans" (also transgender and transsexual) have always been the big and comfortable umbrella I use. "Queer" too but it encompasses everything (aka: it's not specific enough when I want to be specific). I like "genderqueer" and "genderfluid" as well but they're not the right fit for me

you know it's funny how it was right on my face this whole time?

I've been always pansexual (and panromantic, I'm still somewhere in the asexual umbrella XD not so much these days, but still!! XDD) even before I knew the words for it, I have always felt attraction to people regardless of their gender ever since I can remember so.... it's not surprising how my attraction to others would reflect on my own gender identity. I don't really have hard, solid preferences because I like everything, or rather: it's the inside that matters most

I don't think, realistically, I'll be able to find people who will not gender me so.. I can keep on trying to correct and educate people on that, I can grow numb to it and "accept", I can become resentful and isolate or I can change how I exist socially for the sake of being able to connect

yes and no! I don't even feel like this is a change per se, more like.. an adjustment, fine tuning, tweaking.. it's me reaching a compromise where I don't really have much to lose but I'll gain tenfold..

and because I'm the funniest motherfucker alive, earlier today I thought "hey why don't we go full pan on this thang" and I feel like I destroyed my closet now XDDD Schrödinger's gender if I will. Am I a woman? A man? Trans woman? Trans man? Transfem? Transmasc? Both? Neither? A third option? All of them? None of them? An eldritch abomination? Another unspecific identity?

still not sure how well pangender suits me but, so far, any pan identities and labels have fit me like a glove

I'd be curious about your thoughts: It's been awhile since I watched En Ami; but I always took that scene as Scully knowing he's lying, knowing he (in all probability) had tampered with her, but weighing the costs and the benefits. Since she didn't feel any trauma to her body, there was nothing to pinpoint as a hole in his lies; and in that case, it came down to the original point: were the risks of this trip worth it? Scully, imo, was still playing along to get the "cure to everything"-- her selflessness for humanity (and cure for her cancer) outweighing any temporary misgivings.

I do believe if she had felt any trauma or any lingering sensation she would have been gone. But she didn't; and she still didn't have the cure.

It's the ending, I think, that flubs it the most: instead of focusing on Scully's rage for being baited (though it's touched on slightly), and Mulder's boiling rage on her behalf (though, again, it's slightly touched on), they end it focused on CSM and his weird little "redemption arc" bit. Sure, fine, whatever; but it leaves it on a sympathetic note for him in the vein of Musings of a Cigarette Smoking Man. Yes, it was his own self-pitying POV; but this episode ALSO involved Scully heavily. There needed to be a focus on her own letdown, anger, trauma, and fear that she finally lets rise to the surface.

There wasn't enough time for all of these elements, of course.

Am I off base? Could be-- curious how far! XDDD

Well, I'm not gonna tell you you're off-base! 😆 After all, everyone views the episodes through their own lenses and it's all subjective.

I just don't buy anything about this episode - from start to finish. WBD wasn't at all subtle when it came to writing this redemption tale for CSM. For one thing the character had done absolutely nothing to deserve it. For another, it required taking one of the leads and erasing almost everything we knew about what drives her personally and professionally, about her own experiences with CSM and all it had cost her and Mulder, and portrayed her as naive and gullible. While it's not too far off the mark to attach those descriptions to Mulder from time to time, nothing I'd seen of Scully up to that point led me to believe she would go with CSM based on nothing more than his word. And then stay even after she woke to find herself in that bed in pajamas she knew without a doubt she hadn't changed into herself.

Even with what knowledge she had about where Mulder had found the chip that may have cured her cancer, I can't believe that alone would cause her to trust CSM enough to put her safety and well-being in his hands. I don't believe that even with the possibility of a cure for all cancer, all illness waved in front of her like a carrot on a stick, that she would so impulsively drop everything and go with him. Scully doesn't do impulsive. She overthinks everything, and I think the only person who can drive her to impulsivity is Mulder, and then only when he's pissed her off (see Ed Jerse). So, no, I can never buy that her sense of selflessness would override her bullshit detector, not when it comes to CSM.

Yes, she took precautions by rigging the hidden microphone and then mailing the tape (?!?!?) to Mulder. But it was uncharacteristically stupid of her to go in the first place. And she had to have known that as soon as Skinner told Mulder there was a Scully family emergency, he would've had his nose to the ground like a bloodhound.

I could go on but I'll spare you. Let me wrap this up by saying that Scully didn't earn the right to rage about being baited; it's something she should've anticipated from the get-go. And she then rationalizes her gullibility by saying that she saw something in CSM that made her believe his intentions were good? Puh-leeze. And I couldn't disagree more with your belief that Mulder was pissed for Scully. He was pissed at her, and rightly so.

In closing, it doesn't surprise me that the fallout of Scully's actions were never addressed or mentioned again. Mulder and Scully have always been chess pieces to be molded and moved around the board however CC saw fit. It's just that it was done to Scully in far more egregious ways than Mulder was ever made to suffer.

Yep, still hate this episode as much as ever.

Note: not very knowledgeable with the witcher fandom but i tried to investagate what i could, but even so ill probsbly get stuff wrong so my apologies here. Also good with writting so sorry if it sounds shitty XD

Ana from Nilfgaardian: Backstory

Ana's life was filled by nothing but human's torment and survival. She only 3 years old when she was found with her mother's corpse and letter saying that whoever finded her to please took care of her. Samuel one of the prisioners in the group took the child as his own, felt pity to let it die in the middle of the forest like her mother.

And so for the next 3 years Ana would grew up being taught the best way to stay alive is to stay quiet and obey. Ana's only family was a grop of criminals but they loved her and took care of her as their own. But even so, child or no the guards wouldnt care less, once you become a prisioner you're treated like one...

They knew she wouldn't last long in this hell of a place....

When the heard the rumors of a witcher close to these walls, they decided to help her to escape, witchers protected people so if she could find the witcher she could find protection.

She met the group later on, they found her eating their food behind the bushes, she tried to run off and they were gonna let her go if she hadn't fainted duo to exhaustion. The decided to take her in until they could find someone who could take care of her. (Spoilers that day hasnt come 😃)

(They gotted clothes for her cuz c'mon she was barefoot the poor thing :/)

Interactions with the group:

Avdol: He was the first one who she got the closets with his calm aura made her trust him, he likes to read her and share stories of their past hunts, he also tends to spoonfeed her a lot. Litteraly calls him mama XD (doesnt really mind, he thinks its cute)

Kakyion: The quiet duo. They mostly enjoy eachothers company, likes to play with his hair and observe him and avdol when they making potions (she sometimes gets handsy but backs off when told to)

Polnareff: she like his music, she sometimes ask him to sing her to sleep (specialy after having a nightmare) he like to tease her sometimes (which ends up her biting him lol) also because she so quiet she tends to scare him off HAHA

Alex & Yanyu: She loves them :3. Very affectionate with them and likes to sleep on Yanyu's lap. Although Alex gets a lil nosy sometimes so she just cover her ears to let her know shes being too loud (i feel like she tends to raise her voice without meaning to like me xddd)

Jotaro: Another one whose she's very affectionate with. Was scared of him at first but she gets very attached to him later on. Calls him papa (says he doesnt like it but he actually MELTS at the name) stays close to him the most and likes to put flowers in his hair. Loves being carried by him 💕

Ana: Da-ddy?

Jotaro: Do I look like-

Ana: :(

Jotaro:..........Fine

Ana: Papa! :D

He's like those dads that didnt want the dog at first, but treats them like their kid the next day lol

Joseph: He babies her the most and likes to tell her stories of his old adventures, he tells him about holly sometimes (mostly when jota isnt close) uses her as shirld whenever he pisses jota cuz he knows how soft he's become on ana (jota denise it but we all know how it is 🙄)

Overall they all love her very much and will fight anyone who hurts the child

'did it hurt?' 'it tickled!' and m starts laughing o0o! muzaka glancing at frankenstein, wondering if hes got ticklish spots as well azure mostly bc Franken explains Muzaka is very much a worrier "He's worried about you. He loves you very much and wants to make sure you're alright, okay? Let him know if you're feeling alright or unwell." and bby much serious nod nod darkicedragon 'but worrying is bad?' azure bc Muzaka again like OAQ over a bruise and M pats his hand "It doesn't hurt." darkicedragon 'worrying too much can be bad, but he worries bc he cares abt you' 'oh' azure "Worry is not bad. It's a feeling you get when you love someone very much and want them to be safe and happy." azure awww =w= so cute darkicedragon 'safe?' o-o? ococo qwq.. smooch the babyyy

OKAY but real talk I have turned down jobs at KC SO MANY TIMES lmfao XDDD He offered me an apprenticeship there right out of high school before we were even together, but I said no because we were friends and I didn't want my whole career to hinge on who I knew; I wanted to succeed on merit. Then he offered again after we got together, and like a dozen more times; basically whenever I'm in need of work he reminds me all I have to do is ask and he'll set me up. XD I'm an ambitious little nerd though and want to find my own way in terms of a career, even though it's been financially unnecessary for years.

That never stopped him from doing basically exactly this shit, though! Cheeky fucker just switched to working from home most of the time. Our schedules line up in such a way that one of us is almost always off while the other is working, so there's a lot of texting and gaming that ends up happening while we're supposed to be working. XD He has showed up at my workplace more than a few times over the years to "drop something off" or "for a meeting" that was really an excuse just to come see me, and busy schedule be damned. I don't work for him, but I've helped him with his work stuff on countless occasions just to spend time together, and that has indeed included more than one dinner eaten off the coffee table in his office while pouring over forms and figures.

2020 was friggin ridiculous for this because we were both working from home, which meant we shared the home office. I was a call center worker at the time, so my performance was being watched closely even though I didn't have a supervisor in the same building. Somehow I kept my metrics and work quality up so my manager never realized just how distracting that was, and of course as the owner of the company and top executive Seto can basically do whatever he wants... but the number of calls I took while thoroughly distracted was a lot higher than it probably should have been. XD

One of the sneakiest ways he's taken advantage of my working elsewhere, though, was the time he had my car towed while I was at work, stranding me there. XD He waited for me to call him about my car being gone, then said he'd send Isono—basically his right-hand man next to Mokuba (left-hand man, then? anyway)—to pick me up with a company car. He showed up like ten minutes later, which was suspiciously fast, but I was just grateful not to be standing around in the cold for a n hour since this early-mid March and it was raining and really damn cold out.

If you've been following me long enough (I know you haven't but anyone else reading lol), or have gone back through Seto's tag far enough, you might have some idea of what he was up to. I, however, suspected nothing, because I am dumb of ass.

Isono started off like he was taking me home while I was lamenting my "stolen" car and how I was going to get a new one so soon after having just bought this one, and all the while this guy is proving why Seto's kept the same Number One for so many years by playing it completely cool. He was just all, "Mr. Kaiba is doing everything he can to make sure your car is returned by Monday morning," and "I'm sure Mr. Kaiba would be more than happy to lend you one of the cars from his own garage, or else provide a company driver for you," yadda yadda. And it wasn't until like twenty minutes into the drive that I realized we'd passed the exit to go home and were still on the highway. I asked what was up and Isono was just like "Mr. Kaiba's orders, Mx. Amata. I can't say more."

Which, okay, fine. I trust Seto, and I trust Isono. So we keep going for like another hour and a half on that highway. And where do we end up?

There's this little Bavarian-looking tourist trap of a town with a name that always makes the military guys in my family laugh up in the mountains around here. March isn't a big time of year for them, but it's beautiful and exactly my aesthetic and kind of place to get away for a while We stopped at this small resort in the general vicinity of that little mountain town, and Isono handed me a room key with a number on it. I went up and what did I find there but Seto Kaiba with a damn candlelight dinner and everything, having pulled out all the stops to surprise me for a long anniversary weekend. This was like our seventh anniversary; I had no idea he was planning anything this big, but it was really just. Spectacular.

And true to Isono's promise, my car was sitting in the driveway when we returned home Sunday night.

The Ball!

So in the most recent session, there was a ball!! Our characters got to dress up and there was a prize for whoever was the most fancily dressed Tolus won because I'm extra af and added accessories as you'll see xb He was not very good at dancing but he eventually got the hang of it lmaoo. Minerva saw her owlin parents who she had technically run away from before becoming a sentinel in training but they just seemed more concerned with her making a good impression on the fancy government people of the ball. She and Artemis have a very strained relationship and Artemis practically forced her to dance with him also at the request of her parents. Steve did try to help as he and Minerva are very close but he is an almost 40 year old man asking to dance with a 19 year old so her parents were like "wtf is wrong with you" lmao. Sevrin tried to not talking to anyone and hung by the punch bowl with our personal assistant June. She got very depressing as she was lowkey forced to start serving punch to everyone and how she just wanted to enjoy the ball. Sevrin quickly left and danced with one of the fancy officials. Also, after the session, I made a joke about Tolus getting with the queen but my DM reminded me she's married to the king. I said, "Do they want a third?" he told me to roll a nat 20 for it AND AFTER GETTING LOW ROLLS FOR SOME TIME I ACTUALLY GOT IT XD. Ofc he couldn't actually get with the king and queen because we had already progressed but DM said the king and queen did ask Artemis about Tolus staying in the castle and "never having been with a satyr before" XD Artemis said "Not now" because we are investigating. My favorite thing about this imagine is that Tolus is not actually a flirt so it's just him obliviously being talked about by his mentor and the king and queen xb but now everyone jokes that if he doesn't become a sentinel he has a back up plan I guess XDDD

ANYWAY!! The whole purpose of going to this ball was to figure out who in the government is involved in the cult because we know someone is but we don't know who. We got no new information xb. So we go to bed for the night in a little area just outside the castle and...AMBUSH!!! We get attacked by 8 cultists and a huge sky whale!!! We ofc win, Tolus does almost fall to his death because he got on the whales back and they are in the sky city so when it tried to buck him off he was going to fall to his death but Minerva shot an arrow and pinned him to the edge of the island xb

SO!! The important part of this is the fact that one of the government officials is part of the cult and is trying to take out the sentinels in training. Everyone was at this ball so it did not narrow anything down and 1) Confirmed what we already knew, someone in the government is part of this massive cult 2) They either know the sentinels in training are onto them (this would make sense as they have killed a high ranking member) or they are just trying to eliminate future threats. I'm guessing a mix of both. We are not crazy strong but like I said we took down a high-ranking cultist.

IDK!!! More is to come eventually!!! Very excited!!! Now enjoy Tolus's outfit xb
