F/Ovember Signal Boost from Blog Owner (Meg)
So Tumblr might be glitching again, because a thing I posted almost an hour ago isn’t showing up…and at risk of being annoying if people HAVE seen it already, I’m making another post about this just in cases:
For only today (November 14th) I am having Aaravos run the blog. Yes, I mean Aaravos from The Dragon Prince. He’s an f/o of mine too. He wasn’t going to be participating in the November takeover this year, but today is his birthday so I thought it would be fun to let him run it today.
The introduction is on this post. I had it scheduled though, so that might be why it isn’t showing up in the tags. :/
Well anyway, here’s a picture of my favorite (and only) starry elf love for anyone that doesn’t know him. Be nice to him too. It is his birthday.
(One rule before you send anything and didn’t read the intro:
Don’t talk about the show. He doesn’t want to talk about what happened, both to avoid spoilers and because he just doesn’t need reminding of that time of his life on his day. I don’t want to talk about it because I’m done making theories that will likely be wrong.
Aside from that and being respectful, ask whatever you want.)

I like to think that Vulcans who come to understand that Humans just can’t try to process emotions the same way as them, it’s just healthiest to let it out in harmless ways, decide that venting and stuff should be taken just as seriously as Vulcan’s meditation time, and will encourage the Humans around them to complain about what’s upsetting them
People who are used to aloof Vulcans who avoid Humans at all cost running into one comforting a Human
“-and then they said my cheesecake was subpar, and they didn’t even bring a dish!!!”
“The purpose of this event was that every participant brings a food item of sorts, correct?”
“Yeah!!”
“And they did not follow this rule while insulting dishes that were brought?”
“Mostly just my dish but yeah >:(“
“How illogical”
“That’s what I’m saying!!!”

One time I walked into a bar and the bartender looked at me and said “Hey! I am ready for more train facts!”
I had never seen this person in my life, but apparently another woman, who also happened to be a transwoman, and who looked a lot like me sat at the bar and told her a bunch of facts about trains.
I really want to meet the train fact lady

Hi!! Can you please please please write something with weird reader x akaashi? Have a lovely day ♡
Keiji smirks as two arms snake around his neck and gently pull him close, your lips pressing to his head, then ears, where you playfully bite the lobe gently.
“I want to gnaw on your bones,” you whisper into his ear.
“Yeah?” He asks, dog earring his page before closing the book and setting it to the side. He spins in his seat to face you. “You’re feeling that intense about your affection?”
“Of course.” You round the couch and make a move to plop on his lap; his arms instinctively wrap around you, and his lips press a kiss to your temple. “You’re just so pretty today, Keiji. Pretty everyday.”
“Thank you, baby,” he coos, his kissing moving down your cheek then jawline. You mewl and squeeze him, smushing his face against you. “Ow.”
“Sorry. Had to be done.”
“You had to squish me?”
“Yes,” you purr, pressing kisses to his cheeks as compensation for hurting him. Your hand comes up to grip his cheeks, pursing his lips out for you to kiss. “Mwah.”
“Mwah,” he returns.
“Mwah!”
“Mwah.”
“I’m gonna bite you.”
“Please don’t-“ his words are cut off as you bite the squish of his lips, not hard enough to make him wince but enough to playfully bite. “Thank you for being gentle with your feral behavior.”
“You’re welcome.” You plant one more kiss to his lips before hiding your face in his neck, letting the scent of his warm skin lull you to a state of relaxation. “Love you, Keiji.”
“I love you too, baby.”

the 1996 doctor who movie contains a perfect textbook example of fridging, wherein an established longtime character is killed off unceremoniously, with very little agency or time spent on their own perspective when they’re literally being killed, usually as a means to provide shock value, raise the stakes, or make the main character feel bad for thirty seconds before moving on
what sets it apart from every other loving wife and children in every superhero backstory ever, though, is that the person they fridged was THEIR OWN MAIN CHARACTER
