What's in my *Thursday* pen case? • I have a crazy schedule this fine Spring 2023 term that I have a MW version and a Thursday version. And even so, I tend to switch things up... usually the black pens. I'm currently experimenting with ergonomic grips and moving refills around. The Sharpie S-Gel .38mm is my favorite but I don't think it works well with the pen body I just received (Pilot Dr. Grip) so Pilot G-2 .38mm to the rescue! Any other suggestions? • Also, it's #IDOLiSH7 themed. Trying to see something here, but speaking as a dyspraxic and autistic person, does anyone else here hold their pen in a "non-standard" way? I was often told it was odd (and by one Sunday school teacher, "immoral"), so I'd love to see if anyone else can relate!

Office pen brand thoughts:

BIC: Too basic. 1/10, cheap strokes for cheap folks

Papermate: Better than BIC, but still basic. Their Inkjoy is great, though. 2/10-10/10.

Pilot: Red ink flows like blood from a gashed wound. 50/10

Uni-ball: The ink flows onto the page almost uncontrollably, like water from a spring. 100/10

It's done! Sketchtember is officially over!

I really enjoyed drawing in pen for a month, but I itch to get back to color and other mediums. I want to finish this sketchbook entirely with this style, but it's not even half-way trough, so it will require a lot of time.

By the way if someone know some kind of black ballpoint-pen that stays true black till the end let me know. I used a paper-mate inkjoy that I really like, but it begins to fade to gray after two drawings.

Inktober starts tomorrow, I still don't know how I will approach this challenge, if I will follow the official prompt (probably not) and what kind of subjects, style or materials to choose. I hope I will figure something out before the end of October 1st.
