Hi guys,

Since I have been using and loving the Kylie Cosmetics Power Plush foundation,£29.00 shade 2 C I decided to shop her newer face base products and add some more to my collection!

The first I picked up is the Kylie Cosmetics Power Plush Liquid Concealer, £20.00 in shade 1N. Since the concealer has the most perfect applicator for under eye concealer I decided to go one shade lighter than the foundation so this could be a brightening under eye shade. The concealer is a creamy, buildable formula that feels really lightweight and doesn't cake under powder! Since I loved the foundation I wasn't surprise the concealer formula was really good. It's the first time in the U.K we have had a Kylie concealer available since the last time one launched, it wasn't sold here so it was nightmare to get hold of.

The second product I picked up is something completely new to the Kylie Cosmetics brand and that is a Kylie Cosmetics Setting Spray 100ml, £20.00. This spray is amazing, it has a fine mist and leave your skin with a satin matte finish. Kylie has never released a setting spray before so when I saw she launched one at the same time as her foundation and concealer I knew I had to try it. When I use this spray I do find that my makeup lasts longer and my skin gets less oily. So if you’re looking to try a spray and love the mist of a Morphe setting spray, you’ll love this.

One Planet, One Life...

Do we even care about what’s happening in the world, in our communities, or to each other? We don't seem to, because if we did care, we would be making different choices to support, to come together, to leave the world a better place. We’d also be working towards preventing things from continuously happening, for example climate change and global warming.

We're now seeing effects of these problems, including polar ice caps melting and rising sea temperatures. We're blindly living our lives without a care as to how we leave this world. There needs to be food for thought here.

Sustainable life

We’re not going to be able to control everything, but it also shouldn’t mean we just give up, to try to live better, more sustainable lives. We live in this world and this is the only planet on which we are 100% sure that life is possible. We need to want to care, so that future generations are able to live their lives also.

The Science

The science is changing, it's helping us to understand how we can play our part in an ever-changing world. And yet our behaviour suggests we don't care, or think about how our lifestyle impacts future generations.

Examples of climate denial

For example, when the oil supply runs low, we demand more. When the planet gets hot, we turn on the air conditioning. When the power grid struggles to handle our electronic devices, we live our lives as though supplies of resources are unlimited, or we can just make more. We don't have forever to figure it out. Bluntly, whatever the reasons, by our words and actions, we show we do not care. Indeed, those who are most opposed to environmental regulation or who deny the human impact on the environment are potentially the same people who live in the country, fish, farm or hunt. In other words, the very same people who stand to benefit from the changes that need to be made to make life sustainable for the long term.

It is important to find new ways to live

It is also interesting they are the most likely to deny human liability, because hunters and fishermen, often participate in activities to keep the population of certain species in balance with the rest of the ecosystem. It is important to burn less fossil fuels and find new ways to create energy with less environmental impact. We are all responsible for the rapid rise in global surface temperature. We need to care about the planet

Ultimately, we are proving we do not care. Yet we owe it to our children to take care of the planet and to find new ways to live; ways that are more sustainable We owe it to our children and to future generations to improve on what we know and move forward, beyond where we are at present.

Conclusion

Each of us need to start living sustainable lives. Live our lives in a way that protects the land, not just for us, but for the natural world. Our lives, the natural world and future generations are relying on us and what we do today. Without living sustainable lives we're on a collision course. The science couldn't be more clear.

What is evident is that our lack of caring, through the ego it's what is killing us and the planet. It is important to pull back, not only for us and future generations not yet born, for them to be able to live their lives, but without it, there can be no world.

Hi guys,

It has been a while since I have shopped products from Morphe but they recently brought out new eyeshadow palettes and honestly I fell in love. In their new range called Rich & Foiled Artistry Palettes, they have 3 colour stories, the first is golden warm toned, the second is silver cool tones and then 3 is rosy pink shades. Compared to previous Morphe palettes, these new palettes are evening more pigmented and include a dry to wet shade to create a blinding shimmer.

Though I loved all 3 palettes there was 1 I couldn't stop looking at online so I decided to pick up the Morphe Rich & Foiled Artistry Palette, £15.00 in Rose To Fame. When I shop eyeshadows pinks and nude tones are normally my go to colour stories and though you can get a lot of palettes which these shades, this palette looked more unique. This collection is inspired by the unstoppable allure of precious metals, these nine-pan colour stories elevate your eye looks with luxe mattes, shimmers, and metallics—plus, a crown jewel: a debut foil-effect Molten Metal Eyeshadow. Apply it dry for overall, creamy, incredibly luminous payoff or wet for enhanced, molten-like shine.

I have used Morphe eyeshadow palettes for years and always loved their formula and value for price but these new palettes are even better! These shimmer shades are so glittery and yet feel really lightweight on your eyes and almost have a soft creamy texture when you swatch them. This type of palette is something I would easily gravitate towards for an everyday look because like I said before these are my kinda tones. But I always like that you could use the deeper tones to turn your look from day to night. If you would like to see a tutorial of me using this palette let me know.
