“Chuu, stop moving.”
“I'm not moving.”
“Yes, you are.”
“Proof?”
“Your face.”
Chuuya was, quite honestly, having the time of his life the whole day. From breakfast in bed (that was delicious and he made sure to voice it out), the small surprise from the few people he could call friends, and a little date with you that led to the present moment.
You somehow got him to agree (it wasn't as bad as you first thought because he's a simp) to let you put some makeup on his face, which you started on eagerly soon after. However, he decided that he wanted to be a little bit of a menace which resulted in him moving slightly, or doing little things that made the whole process take longer than necessary. (He just wants you to stay on his lap longer)
Opening his eyes way too often when you were putting on eyeshadow, he refused for the longest time to let the mascara anywhere near his eye, or tilting his face wrong which resulted in your hand on his jaw (exactly what he wanted).
“What’s wrong with my face?” He asked, confused since he thought everything was alright as he hadn’t seen himself in a mirror yet.
“It's a mess because you don't let me do things correctly.” You sighed softly as you applied a small amount of blush to his cheekbones.
“It tickles, that's why I move.” That was a lie and you both knew it.
“You barely flinch at the rare time you get stabbed, the hell do you mean that you move away because it tickles?” You teased lightly as you looked over the lipstick options beside the two of you.
“You wouldn't understand, doll.” He had to shut up with those pet names if he didn't want you to kiss him right there and then.
“Of course I wouldn't, I never got stabbed, love.”
“You better.”
“Yes yes, now shut your pretty mouth up and let me put this on.”

Croix says happy pride month, but more importantly free Palestine! 🇵🇸
No pride in genocide.
Just so you know, one way you can help out is you can visit a nifty little site called “arab.org”, there you can do a daily click, and each click donates money to a UN agency and it’s cost you nothing. Or you can spread the word by sharing this post, make your own, or visit “Gazafunds.com” to donate to fundraisers and directly help Palestinian people in need!
This needs to stop now, my hearts hurts for the people of Gaza and for Palestinians, I cannot imagine the pain and suffering they're going through right now.

Israelis are blowing children to pieces, quite frankly I can’t be fucked to care if their embassies go up in smoke because one building doesn’t even come close to comparing to even 1/100000th of the damage they’ve done to Palestine.
It’s because of Palestine that we have these rules in the first place! That we don’t commit acts of terror and have the people who support the Israeli regime brand us as terrorists or radicals like they have been trying for years. The only way to stop the Zionists from eradicating the Palestinians is to play politics better than they’re capable of. This is the biggest and hardest game of 3D chess in our lifetime and we need to play every move perfectly. By burning down that embassy, those people gave our enemies what they were looking for on a silver platter and they will use it as an excuse, if they can, to prolong the delay of any negotiations of a permanent ceasefire and more Palestinians will be killed during that time! I’m sorry for thinking that preventing more people from being killed by the Israeli is more important than getting some petty revenge on them.
I have only been in this movement for a couple of months now so I can’t really speak for the others who have been fighting for decades to see Palestine be finally freed. I can only speak for myself.

Under these tough times, my family is trying hard to leave Gaza for safety. But the high travel expenses to Egypt stand in the way of their hope for a peaceful life away from war. Therefore, I've initiated this donation campaign to raise funds and facilitate their evacuation from Gaza to Egypt, offering them a ray of hope amidst the darkness of conflict.

Palestine has hope. Say it with me. Palestine has hope. Palestine has hope. Shit like this has happened in the past, and there have always been survivors to tell the tale. Palestine has hope. Palestine has hope. It’s true.

Being from Gaza, Palestine is so different.
I tell people I'm from Gaza and I get pity, I get the "oh... do you have family there?" and I have to act tough, I am tough, it runs in my veins. Being from Gaza is expecting that reaction, the sorrow, it's dealing with dumbass people everyday, it's getting the "can you go there?" question. (No i cant btw).
I am from Gaza, I feel emotions just like everyone else, I feel anger and hurt and longing for a place I cant visit, I feel love and comfort and right now I feel alone and like im yelling at the world to pay attention and NO ONE CARES.
I am from Gaza, my thoughts belong to Gaza, my heart, my skin color, the way I speak, the way I say words a bit differently than the rest of the Palestinians, the way I wish I was a filmmaker to share my culture with the world.
I am from Gaza, i am aware of how different my people are, i am aware that i grew up differently, I am aware I grew up looking at the news from my grandparents television with my aunt waiting for news about her family, I am aware that I have trauma in my veins, I am aware that my culture is taken over and that I can't really speak about it, I am aware that not everyone experiences your aunt screaming that her brother died and yelling "He's apart of my soul, my soul died"
I am from Gaza, I hurt, I feel, I love, I care and my heart, soul and mind all belong to my beautiful land and its people.

"A Palestinian family in Tal al-Sultan camp, west of Rafah, decorates its tent in preparation for the month of Ramadan in order to preserve Ramadan customs and bring joy and happiness to the children to alleviate the effects of war." from Belal Khaled, 02/Mar/2024:

[i've never doubted that palestine will live.
the US dropped more than 7.5 million tons of bombs on vietnam, laos and cambodia from 1965-75. they destroyed our land, used agent orange, slaughtered villages, separated families, the list goes on.
but we're. still. here.
indigenous people are still here. black people are still here. colonized people are resilient. even if you kill our people, ban our languages, destroy our homes, heritage sites and artifacts, we will always find a way to keep our cultures alive and that has always been true
so much of the west and isntreal's tactics and actions are hauntingly familiar to me as a viet person. its a colonizer's rinse and repeat. and so that's how i know palestine will be free. we've seen this film before]

Introducing:
I am Ahmed Alzanati from Gaza strip. I am a Civil Engineer and my wife is a teacher.
We used to live in a safe environment, full of joy and prosperity. We have been working very hard without any break during the past 11 years. It seems to have became nothing.
My Story:
Hello, this is Ahmed & Heba from Gaza. We got married before the war and we were living a stable and happy life, but the war destroyed everything, starting from the house, the street, and even our dreams ended in the blink of an eye.
I used to work as a Civil Engineer and my wife worked as a teacher in a private school.
But unfortunately we were not able to continue working.
My office and the school where my wife worked were destroyed, and we were forced to decampment me, my wife, my father, my mother, to Rafah until the hope of returning was gone.
We became without a home or income, and our savings have been exhausted to support the family in this difficult economic situation and harsh crisis in an attempt to survive.
This place is no longer safe and suitable for living, having a child, or building a house.
There is no longer any glimmer of hope for an immediate return to work or life normally.
Now, with all the sadness of the world and with all my sorrow, I admit to myself above all that it is no longer possible to start over in a place full of destruction and death.
We are forced to leave this land to search for a life, for security, for a happy family, for work, for the most basic human rights.
We need help and support to do this, and we hope the humanitarian world will extend a helping hand to us.
We need this to be able to cover the cost of escaping from Gaza, as the cost of coordinating travel outside Gaza costs from 5,000 to 7,000 dollars per person, meaning we need approximately 25000 dollars in addition to living expenses.
This appeal is the last attempt to escape the hell caused by the war. I appreciate all those who support us psychologically, humanely and financially.
You can support by sharing the link, spreading it, praying and making a little money contribution.

to any americans who feel "paralyzed" and "dont know what to do" to help with gaza:
reading a fucking book. i beg of you.
in a time of knowledge suppression is it your duty to arm yourself with knowledge.
read about americas occupations in the middle east.
read about 9/11 from outside of america and see how they inflicted senseless harm and violence to countless amounts of people and have been suppressing your rights for the past 2 fucking decades.
read about any of the countless wars from the past 30 years. especially from a civilian's. and the victims and survivors' perspective. listen to the horror stories and do not plug your fucking ears as to what your country is doing.
and read about fucking gaza and palestine and keep up with what is happening no matter how "sad" or "uncountable" you might get.
dont look away from this.
you dont have the right to be comfortable during countless active genocides.
if you're knowledgeable, you're powerful, and our current state doesnt fucking want that.
you have the power to change things if you open your eyes and scream to the world.
wake the fuck up.
Edit: please check the reblogs there are readings and ways to help
