There's something to be said about Nine and Twelve as parallels, about them being these seeming grumps with hearts of gold who must relearn optimism while being fundamentally kind at the end of the day, and Eleven and Thirteen as parallels, as these lonely tinkerers who travel with multiple companions at the same time but push people away before they get too close because they are creatures built on grief, and Ten alone, as something that is all and none of the above, who starts out as a creature born of love but who loses said love and is willing to die and must find grounding but loses said grounding and declares himself the Time Lord Victorious because if he cannot have love he has to have something, anything, he can call his own, and about how all five of them are shaped, fundamentally, by their grief and their guilt over the Time War and being the last of their kind and how every companion leaves them and they will always, always be the last one in the TARDIS, always be the last one surviving, no matter what, and yet all of them, at the end of the day, die to save someone. Die to be kind, just one more time. Because that is what ties them all together. That is what makes them the Doctor.

Watch 30-Second Bunnies reenact Movies!
Angry Alien Productions is a series of 30 second movie re-enacted by bunnies. These cute and fun videos are a creation of Jennifer Shiman. They have a library is in tribute to modern and retro films.
Note that some are family-friendly and some are for more mature audience members. A good reminder that there are cartoons for all ages, so that all are able to enjoy this fun animated form of entertainment.
I am posting this (why haven't I posted it sooner? lol) as this is an amazing site to visit for some fun film tributes. I remember watching this in the early 2000's and re-watching it now. It's still grand!wat
It's free to watch and to enjoy. You can check out their website here: http://www.angryalien.com/

Prompt 85
Dan is very grumpy. He’s not pouting, despite what the others would claim, he’s brooding. How many times were they going to get de-aged?! And this time they were all clones! He did not sign up for reincarnation, nor for getting turned into a literal baby.
He doesn’t care if this world has heroes or villains or whatever, he’s going to bite the next person to pick him up. Happily if it’s one of the scientists currently scrambling around as alarms go off.
Though he’ll happily do the same to the new colorful people too. Honestly he’s just feeling particularly violent, and it’s not like he can murder with his tiny baby hands. At least his so-called siblings look just as ready to attack as he does.

Stabby
This requires no context.
Alien: Human-Jeff, what is this... robot?
Jeff: Stabby the Space Roomba.
Alien: And... what does that mean... exactly..?
Jeff: My beloved.
Alien: It appears to be a circular vacuum robot with a... is that K'chra's kitchen knife?
Jeff: Don't tell her.
Alien: ...But why?
Jeff: Stabby.
Alien: ...
Alien: Agreed. I pledge allegiance to Stabby.
Jeff, muttering under his breath: ...to the United States of America. One nation, under god, someone help, why do I still remember this.

Human with anger problems who tries to keep a lid on it but still threatens people when they’re upset, always threatening to take the second eye of a really scary alien who’s missing an eye
And everyone always lets newcomers know “they’re serious, they’re the reason that one is missing the first eye”
And eventually the Human gets really annoyed by it and is just like “Oh everyone is so quick to point out that I ripped out that eye, but no one wants to talk about how that eye was infected and we had no access to medical equipment!”
“You pulled it out without flinching tho!”
“I saved their goddamn life!! That’s more important!!”
The scary alien who lost an eye is completely enthralled by the Human btw and would let them take the second eye even if there wasn’t a good reason like with the first one

Dogstock are typical of what are often deemed the ‘evil’ races in many other fantasy works. They were created by some higher force to be slaves, they are carnivorous by nature, they resemble animals other than human in dentition and build. They growl and bite and walk behind.
The Uhasr (a dogstock culture) are descendants of such slave-infantry that was abandoned when the empire that used them to capture the steppes decided the land wasn’t so profitable after all, and more pressing matters drew their attention elsewhere. Like tools left spent on the ground, the unneeded, excess dogstock were left to survive on their own in Hochkiskuph. The native peoples, of course, did not welcome them any more, or see them any less as oppressors when the hand released the lead. To the Hochkiskuph peoples, the Uhasr are a predatory ghost, an echo that consumes them even in absentia. To the Uhasr, one human is much like another, differing in number and equipment, but never in essence. Uhasr are a species of wild animal with a human face. Humans are prey on two legs. Humans smoke and poison uncovered dens on principle, Uhasr abduct and consume men and women and children all the same.
A common trend I have noticed in media which aims to humanize monsters, is that it often relies on passivity. Humanity is contingent upon kindness. The monster that is A Person only so long as they are a harmless thing at heart, something which can be understood and befriended. Their violence is reluctant, their hearts noble. Grace is a concession to the dominated. Only the toothless beast, declawed and pinioned and caged, is one which has earned its personhood. The ontological enemy supersedes the ontological man.

It really is wild how much balance's Faerun is a victim of circumstance. Literally just a bunch of aliens came down and brought their war in with them. They totally overwrote the world's current political goings-on by injecting a new war for artifacts of powers beyond mortal comprehension, stopped that by wiping the minds of everyone on the planet, and then ended up luring in a massive eldritch presence that forced all the people of the world to fight against it again. The memory and agency stripped from every single person in a whole universe. Even the divine, their prophecies and paperwork twisted towards this strange new calling. Fuck, dude, the Moon's been fake for years.

Commission for Zerorider56, featuring the newest addition to the Space Voyagers cast! This guy is quite a bit different from the ones I've done so far, and probably the most alien feeling one yet, but he was a really neat character to design, and this is my first time doing a character with four arms too. xp I also had to be a bit of a show designer for this one, and come up with something interesting for a character with two huge toes, lol.
Zerorider56 writes: "The helmsman of the Voyagers. Brash, rude, ill-mannered, yet nurturing, fond, and loyal. Gnork has seen the good, bad and ugly in life and doesn’t have the time nor the patience to put up with people’s rubbish. Often gives crude remarks and swears in his native tongue. He prefers the direct approach and will be blunt with his opinions. Despite his rough exterior and boorish personality, he does show genuine fondness for the crew members even if he prefers solitude to reflect. When it comes to family and kids, he's developed a more nurturing side due to his past experiences with his former partner and knows when to be patient when it concerns the young members of the Voyagers. (To the artist, he is middle-aged in our concept of aging. Although in the context of the story, his race have short lifespans so he'd be 32, which would translate roughly to 52 human years.)"
If you want to see all the other characters I've done for Space Voyagers so far, click here!
WIPs of this will be on my Patreon as always!

Luka v Till is....going to be something.
On one hand, Till has lost another person that he cared for which means he could be even more out of it for the next round. On the other hand...he's going against the guy that got Mizi disqualified and is the embodiment of Alien Stage...so he has an opportunity to at least beat Luka (and therefore avenge his longtime crush) by going all out as he did in his first performance or in a literal sense by taking a page out of Mizi's book and pummeling him into a pulp...again.
I'm sure Luka feels like he's got an easy W right now though. Dude for sure is gonna try and run back a similar play of ROMH.

It is incredibly isolating to navigate through fandom as an aromantic person. Aro experiences are so varied, and there is no definite aro experience that encapsulates the alienation that fandom spaces cause for certain people.
Fandom is mostly built and structured on shipping. And if not, the blorbofication of characters, which tends to go down the shipping pipeline; where does that leave the romance repulsed aro person who genuinely does not want to see any form of shipping? Platonic dynamics, right?
Yeah, sure. But by platonic dynamics, it's only "best friends" or "family" right? Where does that leave the aro folks with undefined labels? No, qprs aren't a get-out-of-jail card.
And qprs- they have no rules or standards set upon them by society, not even having a clear definition for what it is, because not all qprs are the same. Yet, for some reason, it ended up becoming the "nonbinary" option to a lot of people- not romantic or "regular" platonic? Qpr it is, right?
But where does that leave the aro folk who don't want a qpr? Who don't wish to see characters depicted in pairs or trios or so forth- who embrace the lack of a partner?
And these concepts presented; when aro folk talk about them, do you care? And if you do, do you understand? Do you try to?
If you aren't aro, but wish to be supportive, are you a genuine ally? Do you raise the concerns of aro folk you share the space with?
Or do you take a look at these concepts- and decide you understand them "well" enough? Do you decide to speak for aro folks instead?
Do you depict relationships outside of romance because you believe in the importance of platonic relationships? Will you accept the fact that not all platonic interactions will be familial or "best friends"?
Can you accept depictions of qprs outside of "more than friends, less than lovers"? Are you willing to accept it is not just "best friends" or "romance lite"? Will you accept that nothing is inherently romantic- and characters in a qpr may fall under your standards of lovers?
Can you resist the urge to put every character in a pair or trio or group? Are you comfortable with the notion of characters finding more joy in being by themselves, outside of all those lenses you see them in?
It's good if you can.
And if you can't, at the very least, do you understand why some aro folk in your space are upset? Embittered by your favorite ships? Starving for representation?
Did you depict these characters with these concepts with the knowledge that aromanticism is fluid?
