#i like e*xtraordinary a*torney w*o a lot but i am side eyeing the romance of it all ngl #theyre both cute and adorable together that’s not my issue but to me the romance is not developing naturally in a healthy way from her part #bcs i dont get why she likes him ……. like yes hes cute yes hes hot yes hes nice but i think there should be more to it #when ur disabled there can be a tendency to like anyone who is nice to u (i should know lol) so it kinda rubs me the wrong way that it seems #to be the case here ?#im really hopeful for this series but so far j*noh has been shown more like a caretaker than a romantic interest imo #i just hope we see more of him in the next episodes #like it would be nice to have them talk and find things they have in common like idk maybe they could talk about how much they like law and #bond over that !! u #i just think we need to see more of him as a person #this is more of an issue with the writing btw #i havent seen the last ep btw if it happens there then good !!!!#its fine if ppl disagree w me but if ur not disabled ur wrong and im right :)

#A/N : yes you found it! ugh kuroo is my fav i love him so much.

#WARNINGS : f!reader. petnames (sweetheart, baby). cursing. cheek kisses. angstish(?) to fluff.

kuroo is undeniably an attractive guy. flirty humor, pretty eyes, and a tall, muscular build. no one would usually think this could be a problem but to you, it was.

it’s annoying, really. sitting at his volleyball game trying to support your boyfriend, the squeals and loud yells of his name coming from random girls in the stands. pretty long hair, whispy curls or styled bangs, big eyes and blushy cheeks, cute little outfits put together.

when the end of the game came and it was time to go, a couple of the girls even had the courage to flirt with him right in front of you.

“your arms are so strong!”

“you looked so hot out there!”

and although kuroo would give a mediocre thank you with a wave of his hand, you couldn’t shake off the creeping feeling of intense jealousy.

these girls were so perfectly put together and fluttered their long eyelashes so prettily it almost made you sick. maybe you needed to put more effort, or grow your hair out more. maybe kuroo thought so too. maybe he didn’t even like you at all.

the walk and bus ride home with kuroo was eerily quiet. you couldn’t even bring yourself to say anything other than a quiet “good job tetsu.” back at the courts.

finally walking into his room and sitting yourself on the edge of his bed, not daring to look him in the eyes and instead focusing your attention on the window. you heard the rustling of his bag on the floor before you felt the bed dip as he sat next to you. you still made no effort to look at him.

“okay, tell me what’s wrong.”

you weren’t expecting him to just blantantly ask you. and you couldn’t help but feel entirely stupid for the answer that was about to leave your mouth.

“do you even like me, kuroo?” the question came out as almost a whisper as you waited for a response.

“sweetheart, of course i do. what are you talking about?” he responded, and you finally moved your head to lock eyes with him. his face filled with slight worry as he stared at you.

“i dont know… you just have so many other girls you could easily be with. i dont understand why u bother with me.”

his eyes softened before responding, “because i love you. i could care less about any other girls because you’re the one i fell in love with.”

you smiled softly at him before being embraced by kuroo’s arms. wet kisses planted on your cheeks and a not so real “ew!” followed with soft laughter. he was right. he was dating you. he knew you like the back of his hand just as well as you knew him. he chose you over anyone else. why be insecure when everything he’s ever told you has proven to be true? its you and kuroo, and it always will be.

“no need to be so jealous, baby. im all yours.”

Dating Lee Donghyuck has many perks.

First of all, he is incredibly funny. His jokes never fail to brighten your mood, never fail to curl your lips up in a warm smile.

You don't know this, but Donghyuck loves your smile and no matter what, he will do anything to see it.

Second, he is very, really, super cute. Hot, almost. It's no surprise how many people would be attracted to him, with his whole goofy personality and pretty face, it's no wonder why you like him.

And third, Lee Donghyuck is so very smart. He's known in campus for being the perfect boy tutor (apart from Mark Lee). Funny, cute, and smart? What's not to like about him?

Well for starters, the fact that he's already taken.

You have no idea how you managed to have the Lee Donghyuck be with you, let alone love you, and you're more than sure other people think the same thing.

It's been stuck swarming and plaguing your mind ever since you've started dating, which is quite some time, actually.

Donghyuck's fingers wave across yoru face, scaring you for a moment, and you flinch at the proximity.

"Hey, you listening?" His soothing voice comes next, right next to you, and it's a double jump scare.

He can't help but chuckle at the expression on your face, finding you way too endearing for 11:30 in the morning.

"Oh—sorry, Hyuck."

Donghyuck shakes his head, his hand inching towards yours to grab your hand softly in his. "It's okay," He then motions towards the chemistry book in front of you two, and you realize that he's tutoring you. "Anyways, for this equation—"

Just as he was about to explain the mistake you had made in one of the chemical bonds question, a cough interrupts his words. The source of the sound is from behind you, and you turn to find a girl, a book in his arms.

She looks... a bit too dressed up for a session at the library, her pretty eyes lined with clean eyeliner and lips heart shaped in a smile. She's gorgeous.

"Hey Donghyuck! Do you think you could tutor me today about... um—" She quickly looks down at her book, as if she had jsut forgotten what she had to study for. "—Ah! Right, Kinematics,"

Her long eyelashes bat against her cheeks, the dimple on her cheek shining. Instantly, a wave of uneasiness washes over you, and as much as you hate to admit it, it's jealousy.

You're about to pack up, expecting Donghyuck to do nothing but accept the offer, but his fingers tighten around yours, as if to halt you.

"Sorry, but I'm actually busy tutoring Y/n today,"

His words surprise you, it takes you completely off guard that you make a noise between shock and elatedness.

"...Oh, is that so?" The stranger's eyes shift form Donghyuck, to you, before she smiles politely and nods. "That's alright! I'll just go ask Jeno,"

Yes, the physics major. Why didn't she think of that before asking the med student?

And as she walks away, you can't help the heavy thumping of your heart, and how it's strings are being pulled very dangerously.

Donghyuck grins at you, before turning back to the worksheet. "Back to what I was saying,"

Before he can continue on, there's another interruption, but this time, it's from you.

"Why did you turn her down?"

Donghyuck is taken aback from your question, much more from the weakness in your voice. And as he looks up, his heart hurts from how confused you look.

"Because I'm tutoring you? Why would I end our session in the middle of it to go help someone else?"

There he goes, absolutely stealing your heart yet once again. He says it so easily, as if it were always that easy. If it was always that easy, why is it the first time someone's ever done it to you?

"Nobody's ever done that for me,"

If Donghyuck's heart hadn't hurt before, it sure is now. It's swelling, and sinking, and spiraling in such hurt at your words. "Nobody should ever ignore you."

Finally, a grin forms on your lips, as your fingers tighten around his. "Yeah," There are beads of tears at the corner of your eyes, and they slip down your cheeks before you can stop them. "No, yeah, cool, that's very cool."

Donghyuck's hand leaves yours, and before you can miss the feeling of it in yours, a warmer sensation of them wrapping themselves around your cheeks stops it. Your boyfriend gently wipes away the tears, scooting closer to you.

As much as he hates to see your tears, he's even happier that you feel happy, he's glad that you feel the validation you should have always had.

"You know what?" He mumbles with a smile. "Let's ditch this worksheet and head over for lunch. They got fish and chips today, and waffles for dessert," he purses his lips and squints his eyes as if trying to remember something, "and if I'm not wrong, waffles are your favorite..."

You laugh through the tears, leaning over to bump your forehead against Donghyuck's. "Are you asking me out on a date?"

He laughs, brushing your noses together. "You know it baby,"

keefe: marry me *hugs him* ok but srsly does he reeeeally style his hair like that? like how do you style disheveled hair? i mean ok i guess u sorta can, but uhhhh how? screw gisela and cassius keefe raised himself, and that kiss with sophie in stellarlune- *collapses*

stina: yeah sure, she's a brat sometimes as well as her mom but she's pretty and she also has an "i don't give a crap" attitude, and she was def a pain in the first couple books, but she's progressed.

wylie: wylie went from hating sophie at first to trusting her as a leader, and i loved thatttttt also wylie is like super nice. imma be honest, i dont know much abt wylie 😭 but we still love him, he's great.

now… for Dwayne at the beginning he doesn’t really know how to show he loves you. Like yeah he’s been with the gang for a long time but they know him so it’s different. He would try to give you lots of gifts, especially shiny things like jewelry, rocks, books, clothes basically anything he’d think you’ll like.

Micheal likes to spend quality time with you so that means he loves to take you out on dates: walking around the boardwalk, watching the fireworks, going to concerts, takeout on the beach (beach date!) yeah stuff like that :)

acatually we're far enough in the season that i already can say definitively which ones are ass and which ones are good.

Dead Mount Death Play. a reverse isekai about a necromancer who reincarnates in the body of a rich kid that just got assassinated. he gets mixed up with the mafia and the police and the girl who assassinated him and real life supervillains. tonally all over the place, but absolutely an incredible ride. 10/10 loving every second of it

Kamikatsu: Working for God in a Godless World. ok hear me out. hear me out please im begging you. this is the one about the guy who gets killed by his dad during a cult ritual, reincarnating into a world without gods and getting his life saved by the god of his dad's cult. yes its really weirdly horny constantly. yes the cgi is absolutely god awful. yes 30% of the scenes are 8bit isometric view renders. yes its obvious theres like half of a budget on this one. but by fucking god if theyre not doing the best with what theyve got. the plot is batshit, the world is dark, its wholly inappropriate. but something is just so charming about the way they lean into how bad everything looks.

Why Raeliana Ended Up At The Duke's Mansion. a girl ends up in the plot of a novel she read during her life where her character dies in the first few chapters, so she strikes a bargain to get fake engaged to the duke in order to save her life. it's pretty, the story's good, raeliana is a fun character, i cant make up a reason to put it any lower than this beyond 'its het' and thats not fair.

Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear Punch. i just really like yuna ok? shes a good girl. shes dressed as a bear. shes too anxious to hang around people her own age so she makes friends with children. its just a cute show. i would put it at #3 if i was being more subjective.

Konosuba: The Megumin One. ive always said megumin was the best cast member of konosuba. shes still the best. it is a lot of secondhand embarrassment tho bc she is still , by definition, megumin, and she can still only do one spell a day. im not talking about her chuunibyou. that fucks and is cool as hell.

Summoned to Another World for a Second Time. we're getting into the ones i care less about. a guy gets summoned to another world 5 years after he disappeared from it last time and has to save it again. this one i liked a lot more at the beginning, the middle was kinda mreh, but its picking back up. the characters feel kind of Nothing tho.

Smartphone Isekai Season 2. i dont really like harem anime and this one is Very harem. its not usually horny about it but this season feels like theres not like. any plotlines. he will say 'i want to go do this' and then he'll go do it and come back and everyone says 'good job mr guy heres another wife.' i learned that the robot girls suck and fuck each other so thats a plus. as far as the isekais i dont care much about, this one's at least mostly harmless.

The Aristocrat's Otherworldly Adventure: Serving Gods Who Go Too Far. some guy dies and reincarnates as a 3 year old noble child who gets cheat-level blessings from the gods and can kinda do whatever. it just feels like anything that happens in this show is basically nothing. its a nothing show. he got a dog i guess.

My One-Hit Kill Sister. a guy gets reincarnated in another world and he sucks shit and his hot sister beats her head against the hospital wall until she also comes to the other world with him, and she is so powerful but he ends up taking credit for it so everyone thinks hes hot shit but hes just regular shit. a demon shows up and also wants to be his hot sister so he now has two hot sisters who protect his weak shitty ass. hes a cunt. thats all there is to say i hate this guy he fucking sucks. he pisses me off. fuck this guy.

I Got A Cheat Skill In Another World And Became Unrivaled In the Real World Too. its in the title. this is one of those 'guy was really fat but now hes Super Hot And Skinny And Everyone Loves Him' shows, which is kinda vile conceptually. he finds his dead grandpa's secret gate to another world and he can go in and out whenever. the show doesnt focus on like. anything interesting. theres no plot or anything. the show puts him in a Situation and then he Handles It and everyone says 'wow skinny hot guy youre so cool and hot i have a crush on you now' and that part goes on for twice the lenght of the situation he handled. usually in the real world. sometimes in the isekai world. they almost had a plotline where he was supposed to go to the castle, but at the last minute he said 'no actually i cant go sorry'. its a nothing show. its nothing. theres nothing here. nothing is happening. another girl shows up and has a crush on him.

As cheol said, he needs to put himself in her shoes like the underdeveloped eq jh has in this 💀. Goes from i hate you to i love you in a week and wonders why his sincerity didn't reach. i sweaaaaar he frustrates me like nobody else ughhhh the way you made his flawed character was so good like u had me feeling so much anger over a fanfiction 😆. It balanced out so nicely like the cluesless jh and cheol who sees the bigger picture and wants his friends happiness and then reader who is passionate in her love and jihoon who is really mellow but sees everything for what it is. Then we got the trouble makers and office clows along with the dependable friends and bff hao. Hsjsjs soooo many good character, this was such a good cast!!!

I like healing loves and loves that complete you, jh feels more like a puppy crush that makes ur heart race, the kind love that breaks ur heart and u have to learn from- and thats ok! For example, she has a great attraction to jeonghan and went crazy when he wore the red top (goddamn i would too, that chic office wear????) probably his resilience bc despite all the shit being thrown his way from every single direction all the time, he's Still going. he died TWICE and he's still going!!! the second time round was just like a minor inconvenience to him at that point. like the whole situation with ruthie, being cheated on, and now the great ordeal of Killing in order to survive would have most Definitely broken most people, but he hasnt once let any of that stop him. sure he has some MAJOR self confidence issues and has come close to just ending it all more than a handful of times, but he always drags himself back onto his feet and keeps on going, Just in Case it gets better. AND IT DOES!!

which then translates to his greatest weakness being how Stubborn he is. if theres a problem that Very Likely cannot be solved, or at least very easily + within a reasonable timeframe, he will NOT stop working at it anyway. because he can't let himself stop. the second he stops moving, working etc he starts Thinking. and the thinking is where he falters and starts to wonder whether it's all Worth It in the end, so the stubborness is like. a huge coping mechanism

he is VERY good at talking about his feelings and generally just being open with people, if he's got a problem, or if he's in a bad mood etc etc he wont be scared to talk about it.

however at the same time he is very shy and so struggles to talk/open up with new people. and it takes him a While to warm up to people. he's also constantly afraid of letting everyone down and feels like he HAS to make sure everyone's happy all the time, one small slip in their mood and he's like AH SO IT'S MY FAULT. very in tune with his own emotions but not other people's. silly little man <3

she is NOT afraid to call people out on their bullshit when theyre talking nonsense. if youre being a dick she WILL tell you about it. which means she’s very blunt + constantly says things as she sees it, which isn’t always nice and Does cause problems sometimes, because there is no brain/mouth filter everything just. falls out. she IS working on it though she’s trying so hard. at least it means you know she’s never told a lie once in her entire life. she’s so bad at lying

she’s very good at thinking on her feet, improvising, working with what she has etc. she can easily get the gang out of sticky situations most of the time. this also works with car repair/general. fixing of things bc she will Always find a way around the problem, if only temporary, so you can get the car running onto its next location. she’s so smart and pretty and wodnehsuhrg

her weakness HMMB she definitely doesnt feel like she’s good enough sometimes, or if she doesnt Immediately think of a good plan, or fails to immediately get everyone out of a situation - she feels like it’s her fault, she should have done better, etc. even though it’s not her job!! and they all tell her that!! and she’s starting to learn that it’s FINE.
