!!! Damian gets into a fight with a sorcerer when he's out with the Batfam and he gets thrown across time and space, de-aging all the while, and he finally comes to a forceful stop when some lab in another dimension yanks him from the endless spiral out of control. By the time he lands, he's a baby, can barely stand on his own two feet, but retains most if not all of his memory. He's soon found by a pair of young adults, who decide to take him in until they can figure out who and where his parents are or what arrangements can be made to take care of him if there aren't any.

He quickly learns a number of things:

Batman does not exist in this plane.

His current guardians' names are Valerie and Danny.

They are NOT a couple despite acting like one. (Damian isn't going to question it, it reminds him far too much of many of his father and brothers' romances.)

He actually... kinda likes it here? (Not that he'd ever admit that.)

Meanwhile Danny and Valerie are co-parenting the shit out of this adorable little goober they found. Valerie swears she's going to go back to that nasty lab and kick each and every one of their asses. After all, they must have something to do with this! Danny has gotten so attached he holds Damian for a solid half an hour before he has to go to class/work. (It's not separation anxiety, he swears!)

Since Damian has a lot of memories, he knows how to do a lot of things but is trying to readjust with his new size and strength. It's still going, if very roughly. Occasionally he'll try to write something out to them, but it just comes out as doodles and Valerie and Danny think it's the cutest shit ever.

They hang every. single. one. on the refrigerator door.

Damian is much less amused by this. He could do far better pieces if he were just! Back! To! NORMAL!!!

Oh yeah, and the Batfam are really, really worried. And honestly a little terrified once the sorcerer tells them more about the spell they used on Damian. But hey! Damian is being well-taken care of and that's all that matters.

(Also someone breaks into their apartment once and Danny absolutely shivs the guy and it's in that moment that Damian accepts his new, unconventional family.)

The set was abuzz with anticipation as Alex Turner prepared to film the music video for his latest album. Surrounded by a team of producers and filming crew, he couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement for this particular project. The album was a supposed to be “a playful tune, super smooth but makes you feel expensive”he said when you asked about it. It carried a personal touch that resonated deeply with him – and he had the perfect person to share the screen with, his girlfriend, you. His most prized possession, something he wants to show off forever.

As the cameras started rolling, the set was transformed into a mesmerizing, eye catching jazz bar. So What's with Jimin Lately, You Asked

WARNING THIS IS A LONG-ASS POST And please remember that this is a NO SOURCE NO RECEIPTS HOUSEHOLD OKAY. I don't know shit, I ain't confirming a damn thing, anything you read is my opinion based on maybe info or maybe utter garbage. That's my disclaimer and I am STICKING TO IT. I can't be the only one who has noticed our Jiminie looking a bit...like this, recently:

Scandals are a fact of life among idols. What in the West might be considered a normal life event is, in the world of the K-pop system, often a career-ending event. Like, IDK, members dating actual women. Or men. Or each other.

In the last couple of months, all of these things have been alleged - one of them in the press. The other two, behind the scenes. We know about Jimin's mail being stolen and the security failure there, and it's not a stretch to believe that security for BTS overall has taken a hit. It was adequate, even excellent, for years. BigHit pays very well.

But information pays better, and blackmail pays best. Lest you think "NO but that whole Taehyung-Jennie thing was a stunt"... maybe. Maybe not. Tae, actually, is one of the most scandal-proof idols in the business because he primarily or only dates women. Sorry not sorry, I said what I said and I ain't wrong.

I have said privately, if not publicly, that Hybe will NEVER DENY THOSE RUMORS because Taehyung himself will not deny them. They aren't even bothering to keep them out of the press.

Being straight or even passably so is not a problem, for artists on Bangtan's level (is anyone else even ON Bangtan's level? NO.) The Jeon-Parks, though.

See, the thing about being *gaily involved* in Korea is that... it's a problem no matter how famous or powerful you are. Idols are not immune - ask Holland.

That's Homo Hill, kids - the WeHo of Seoul. The gayest gayborhood in the entire of Korea. And famous unstr8 people are not safe, there, now.

There was a pay-for-info attempt floating around about JeiKei awhile back. And he was alibi'd for the date(s) in question. Wasn't there, wasn't him, the fakes were good but not good enough to put him somewhere he wasn't. You maybe didn't hear about it because those of us who did, didn't discuss it out loud.

More recently, though.... I'm gonna say this in public this ONE TIME and we will not speak of it again. OKAY? Okay. Sometimes people are for sale that shouldn't be. And security failure has happened more than once in the last couple of months - a problem that, I am told, has since been rectified. And I am not saying money changed hands, do not get me wrong. I'll come find you if you say I said that. But there are REASONS that Jimin and Jungkook are currently not sharing vehicles, not being seen as too friendly, are not "together" in public, not even in interviews or photoshoots. Sometimes a bit of perceived distance is necessary. I don't feel like I should or should need to elaborate.

Add to that the depth of emotional and psychological damage, it's no wonder Jimin doesn't trust anyone, very much, lately.

My favorite couple have not been seen together in public since their off period began and I don't think I need to further expound on why, unless you're completely unaware of the eyes that are currently on BTS as a whole. (Sorry, I keep deleting stuff. This is taking longer than I thought). But Jimin was the one whose security had already failed - enough that Hybe had to clean up after them.

The others have had sasaeng problems and those are constant and pretty normal business. All idols get that. But all of them are not Park "It Boy" Jimin.

So being threatened with a very real tax lien, and immediately following that even a hint of the possibility of being outed, right NOW? I've deleted a lot more than I can ever write on how gross, how invasive, that is. And that when this is his normal commute:

In the West, Jimin gets a lot of hate from cultists and we don't like to talk about that. But within the last year, a small but rude wave of anti-Jimin sentiment has made its way into Korea. Airplanes and money exist. I've been shocked at what some people are willing to do to further their narrative. If your favorite translator can afford to hit every show with their anti buddies but can't seem to remember to support Jimin's OSTs or solo efforts, ask yourself how they benefit from that and who they support and what else they might be up to that we aren't aware of. If you casually see cult-adjacent accounts that seem to somehow be turning a for-profit narrative ask yourself what loyalty that cash might be buying. It doesn't take a lot of people to crowdfund someone's entire livelihood. Maybe 1000 at $5 a month could get it done.

Now imagine a paparazzi journalist with the idea of a second and third source of cash, plus the street cred of breaking the biggest news story in K-pop history, and their neighbor's second cousin happens to know someone with a vacant window view to a certain apartment and this is how careers get shot down and reinvented much later on another continent.

That's the level of stress, I think, for all of them in general but for Jimin in particular. Maybe on a similar level for Jungkook, somewhat less so for Taehyung. The hyungs have it a little easier, but not by much.

Now add to that Schrodinger's Hiatus and other things we never know about - family stress, life in general, maybe Jimin's plumbing went out or his invisible cat got sick, we don't know everything -- how would we begin to look at our lives, in Jimin's place? Would it be worth it?

Based on his smile at MNet last night, I really hope so.

Longer post.

My partner and I were in a Candy and goods shop in his hometown a little while ago. And they had these things called palm pals. Which, for my sensory ADHD ass, are amazing cuz they’re little fluffy stuffed animals with rice or something inside of them so they create pressure.

And he KNOWS I look at them every time because they have dinosaur and frog ones (two of Yoons favourite things) and every time I don’t get them cuz they are pricey.

But. BUT. When we went in this time. They had Koya and Shooky ones. And my partner knows all the BT21 characters and who they represent. And he knows my bias is our darling Min Yoongi. So when he sees them on the shelf he points them out to me and I go googoo eyed cuz it’s shooky!!! In the middle of nowhere!!

And I look at it and squeeze him and adore him before putting him back because he’s little and as much as I love him, I’m not willing to spend the amount he costs (cuz it’s A LOT). And so I go about my business grabbing my usual candies from the store as it’s a little tradition I have when I go up.

And I’m sure you know where this is going, but after I pay for all my stuff and I grab my bag, my partner tosses the shooky palm pal on the counter and buys him for me just to see the smile on my face and “because I know he makes you happy and I like when you’re happy” -> verbatim.

Okay I got thoughts about Tails and how much of a little badass he is and this is gonna be a long ramble with spoilers for like most everything I can think of so buckle up if you keep reading.

The villains of the Sonic universe are doing themselves a disservice by only seeing Sonic as a threat and that if they take them out they’re good to go. But Tails is arguably the main problem to all their plans going south and none of them have really taken that into account in any media that I can remember.

Like okay Forces didn’t do a great job of portraying this side of Tails and they murdered his characterization in that game. Frontiers had to backpedal hard to try and fix it, I think they did a pretty good job for the the band-aid they had to slap on for an explanation as to why Tails was like that in that game honestly. Saying he was essentially overwhelmed and couldn’t be brave and fell apart cause he is you know still just an 8 year old child, is a pretty solid explanation honestly. But still Forces really didn’t know how to write Tails around the Sonic OC monstrosity I know most of us made. If they wrote Tails with his previous characterization in mind there wouldn’t have been a point to the player character cause Tails probably would have kept Eggman at like 50% and saved Sonic. (side note making the OC player character lowkey terrify was hilarious in cut scenes if you went that route and if you didn’t go back and play the game and just make the most terrifying creature game lets you trust me it’s worth the laugh).

But stumbling off my Forces soapbox, none of their rogues gallery seems to put two and two together that they’d probably win if Tails wasn’t there to come up with a counter plan to theirs.

Just to like build on why Tails is such a threat the their villains I’m gonna start with just Tails’ physical traits:

To start, Tails can keep up with Sonic. Very few characters are listed as being able to do that (granted most game mechanics have to make it so other characters can also keep up with Sonic). But in all the written out lore and characterization it's usually mentioned that Tails is an outlier in how he can keep up with Sonic and that's part of the reason they became friends.

Obvious one, Tails can fly. Meaning he has a whole other terrain he can fight in and leaving it to gravity in a fight with him will fail. And combine that with his speed being up there with Sonic's and now nowhere is safe from him.

Tails can pack a punch. He's been fighting since a young age, younger than most of the older characters even, and is best friends with Sonic and Knuckles so of course the kid knows how to hit something and fight.

Tails is really strong. I know that one twitter take over has a joke that Tails is ripped but like he'd kinda have to be. We've seen him able to carry both Sonic and Knuckles at the same time and not to mention all the heavy machinery he works with regularly. That 8 year old is pure fluff and muscle.

Now here's where Tails goes from menace to threat for their rogues gallery:

To start with Tails is a super genius. At 8 he's on par with Eggman in intelligence, a man with a doctorate and who's been at this for years, and at times out out classes him (i.e. see the zombot arc Tails figured out a cure when Eggman couldn't against his own virus)

He's made a fake chaos emerald that was next to indistinguishable from a real one. Like I might make a whole separate post about this one later but this child made something that was essentially close in power to a god-like entity, like what the actual fuck.

He's defused a nuke. Eggman did not foresee a baby that apparently has a part time job as a one man bomb squad wrecking his plans.

Ace pilot skills. Wasn't sure if I should put this here or the list above, but I'm putting it here cause my list. But just any sort of air battle Tails has covered either with his own tails or a plane, the sky's are his.

No one really talks about this from Sonic X but Tails built a whole ass functioning space craft Star Trek Enterprise style that they all lived on for months, had artificial gravity, and fuck you levels of weaponry. I know nothing is really canon from that show but I mean how could I not list it.

Tails is the one that comes up with the plan or invention that Sonic and gang use to win (usually he is...Amy seems to have taken over the more plan side of things in IDW comics during/after Forces for big battles, and we love this for her in this house). But like Tails is the one whose invention or plan usually ends up being the main reason they win.

Tails has a super form and can use chaos energy. Like despite what the line up of the cast who can go super form would have people believe, this is actually stated to be a rare trait that few have the ability to actually do. (it's like going super saiyan, cause it ripped it off, stated to be rare then everyone can just do it cause plot)

Tails is just such a one man army at 8 years old that I see him just becoming an even bigger threat as they get older. Cause he's canonically 7 years younger than Sonic and one of the youngest characters in the cast. Meaning he's got room to grow still and if he can keep up with the older character at 8 how strong is this kid gonna be by the time he reaches Sonic's current age of 15.

Like I see it that as they get older Sonic will still be the main protector of the planet and a thorn in all their villains sides. But like if Tails walks up that's it..fight over..you lost..don't stop at go to collect $200 just do your self a favor and go straight to jail.

Out of the whole cast, though they are all young and could only get stronger at this point with age, Tails has the most potential out of all of them with just how many skills this kids has on him.

Also throwing this in here cause I can, Sonic is one of the few if not only person who recognizes this about Tails. It's why he trusts Tails so much and falls back on him when things go bad (also trusts him cause Tails is his best friend/little brother/family figure). Sonic is well aware that his little brother will more than likely one day surpass him and he's proud of that. Sonic pretty much raised Tails so he has a weird combination of proud older brother/almost-parental proud feelings about it. They're brothers you honor.

Welp this is my ramble about Tails cause he's one of my favorite characters ever. Feel free to add on to it if anyone else thinks of anything that I missed. This was all 100% rambles from memory and I have shit memory so I know for a fact I missed something.

The Kageyamas start having movie nights as a bonding activity except Mob keeps wanting to watch action and cheesy romance movies and it kills Ritsu who only watches character study dramas and pretentious abstract bs

But then Mob calls Teru over to watch stuff with them and is joyous to find he also enjoys B movies and mindless fun so Ritsu has to sulk in the corner of the couch because he only understands the entertainment of needless violence when he's the one performing it

BUT he gets to pick a movie eventually and puts on some obscure film that's older than all of their ages combined and Mob falls asleep 15 mins in but Teru is like, really into it

They watch all of it in utter silence before spending the next few hours discussing themes and theories and interpretations and they disagree a good chunk of the time and argue about it in the most passive aggressive faux polite way possible but love every second of it that's Enrichment for them (Mob is still sleeping)

So movie nights turn into fights over which Kageyama gets to watch movies with Teru that day which isn't good for bonding with each other but it surely is for bonding with Teru

#additionally they add Shou into the mix who also absolutely adores dumb b movies so he can have some bonding time with mob too #theyre laughing their ass off watching bad cgi while riteru are reinventing philosophy in the background overanalysing bs #mp100 #mob psycho 100 #cine te a intrebat #kageyama ritsu #shigeo kageyama #hanazawa teruki #besides mob all of them dislike romance tho i feel #mob is SUCH a hopeless romantic hes the type to kick his feet and giggle while texting his crush (leveling cities is the Shigeo equivalent #of that thats how he expresses himself okay) #but shou doesnt like romance cause i do believe parents play a big role into how u view relationships and his are Like That #same logic for teru his are inexistent and his only romantic experience is dating girls cause he likes the attention but i heavily doubt he #was ever invested fr #i feel like both him and ritsu view dating/romance as smth vapid/shallow because theyre Popular Kids and it all feels meaningless #mob makes it his life mission to find a romance movie that WILL make them appreciate the genre first he has to convince them to actually #sit down and watch one #ok enough mob posting see u

Idk what the fuck the game devs put into Cal Kestis but I've played only a teeny bit of Fallen Order and already I'm writing ten different petitions to get my boy into every single Star Wars project on earth.
