Cool bug alert! :D
This time my mom took a picture of this little guy, pretty neat right? I think this species is called "Automeris naranja"
They're in the larval stage, part of a species of moth that is widely distributed in the Atlantic Forest region, and can also be found in countries like Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay and Argentina. (Generally in south america)
Its bristles (urticating hairs) have a stinging action when in contact with our skin or that of other animals, causing that burning sensation. (In case of an accident, seek medical attention immediately.)

Hawkmoths
The second fastest flying insect (first being dragonflies) is the hawk moth which can fly at a top speed of 33.7 miles per hour.
I was initially very surprised by this, because really? A moth? Those pieces of trash caught in the wind? I mean, at least it's not a butterfly, but really?
Until I realized that hawk moths are also known as hummingbird moths, and happen to have convergently evolved to look and act just like hummingbirds. Hummingbird moths don't flap around uselessly like moths/butterflies, they fly like hummingbirds, their wings a blur, and can even fly backwards.
Also some species of hawk moth caterpillars cosplay as snakes. So basically they're just trying to be anything other than a moth
