Finished the urn for my Squeak. I bawled again while putting her ash and the shirt, which I was wearing when I held her the last time, inside.
Squeak came to my place as a kitten in 2007. She never failed me to cheer me up when I was hurt, and multiplied the joy when I was happy. She passed away on my chest November 18th 2023
I miss her so much. She sits next to Tibbs' urn on my work desk now.

So I've picked up needle felting on and off the past few months. Now is probably as good a time as any to share what I've done. Remember that I'm a beginner. And my camera is no good.
The first thing I did was a little Among Us figure. Just to get a feel for it. But I didn't bother to take a picture.
But after, I immediately jumped into a bigger project(relatively). I used paperclips to make a frame and did this sheep. I would've made it fluffier, but I ran out of the cream yellow I was using.
Next I went back to smaller stuff and made a cute little beagle. Then a female cardinal because I think they're pretty. But I decided she needed a friend and made a male to go with. After a while of not doing anything, I made a softshell turtle because I like them.
Finally, I made another sheep. I like this one better. It was a gift for the neighbor, whose husband was recently killed in a car accident. I wanted to do something to let her know we were thinking of her. They had been helping us with our sheep, so that's what I thought to do.
I need to decide what I'll do for my next project. Maybe some more sheep, as little memorials for the lambs we just lost. Hm.
I don’t know if I’ve ever shared these as art before, but I paint nesting dolls as a series!
I’m from the state of Indiana in the USA, and I’ve been focusing on birds native to the area. This one is the Blue Birds and Red Birds theme.
These are Blue Jay (back left), Northern Cardinal (back right), Eastern Bluebird (front left), Indigo Bunting (front middle), and Rufous Hummingbird (front right). If you haven’t seen pictures of them before, please check them out. They’re amazing. :3
