Curry leaves are widely used in many countries traditional meals, they are very much use in cooking and medicine, it’s a small green leaf with distant flavor and fragrance, they have numerous medicinal and nutritional benefits as well as cosmetic uses also.
I'm going to discuss several incredible curry leaf benefits in this article, and I'm confident they'll persuade you to include them in your diet.
1. ANTI-DIABETIC PROPERTIES
The high fiber content in curry leaves shows how quickly carbohydrates are broken down into glucose, which helps regulate blood glucose levels. It helps the body produce more insulin, which has a hypoglycemic effect and controls blood sugar levels.
How to use curry leaves to control blood sugar
For blood control, you have to chew 8 to 10 curry leaves in the morning on an empty stomach, be sure you chew well to get the benefits, the curry leaves must mix well with your saliva, or you can make a juice of curry leaves and drink it in the morning before breakfast.
2. HAIR GROWTH
Curry leaves moisturize the scalp, strengthen hair follicles, and encourage hair development, in addition to preventing premature graying of hair and protecting your hair from damage. Curry leaves also protect against dandruff, itchy scalp and hair loss.
How to use curry leaves for hair growth
Ingredients
Curry leaves 20 to 30
Coconut oil 3 tablespoons
Preparation
Wash 20 to 30 curry leaves, and then add the curry leaves and 3 tablespoons of coconut oil to a pan, and heat the mixture until the leaves are completely black. Your hair tonic is now ready; simply turn off the gas and let the oil cool to room temperature. Apply this oil on your scalp and hair twice a week to get healthy and shiny hair.
3. WEIGHT LOSS
Curry leaves provide detoxifying molecules and aid in cleansing your bodies because they include substances called carbazole alkaloids, which prevent weight gain and lower blood levels of LDL, a type of bad cholesterol, and helps you with weight loss. Read more

I wanna post some health and appearance tips because I seen someone else on my tumblr do it.
These are actually mind blowing tips that I’ve tried and tested, actually have science behind them, and make the overall process much easier, i may not have alot of followed and it’s pretty long but please read because these are actually some revolutionary tips like the type of tips that people gatekeep. But that’s not me
Some of these products might be expensive/out if the way I’m sorry, I’m 19 and live alone have been working full time since I was young. I don’t have tips for hiding anything though since I live alone and when I was at home my family never really cared anyways these are mainly tips on how to upkeep your looks while restricting so that way you can look healthy while getting skinny, but I do have some prouducts that will raise less suspicion for anyone who lives at home still.
✨ Tried and tested ✨
Hair~
Hair breaks when you’ve been restricting for a long time but these products have really helped and now I don’t have split ends. Their fine hair friendly as well, just remember shampoo your roots and only condition and oil your ends
Olaplex conditioner and the Olaplex hair oil
shea moisture Manuka honey and manfura oil intensive conditioner
Amika soulfood deep conditioner
Any shampoo with rosemary (makes your hair thicker and has been proven to be as effective as rogaine)
Tessa peays (you can find her on tiktok and YouTube) hair oil recipe and hair oil routine
Body care~
Skin gets really dry sooo
Olay body washes (literally any kind will work their so hydrating, they have a niacinimide one which works to brighten up your skin)
Any lotion with Vaseline in it (Vaseline will lock all moisture in and is the most effective humectant on the market. I don’t recommend using straight Vaseline Vaseline though because that will get all stick, just use a Vaseline brand lotion)
Body scrub once a week
Skincare~
Moisturizer. When your restricting you need to invest in a moisturizer, keep your skin hydrated
Sheet masks 1x a week. I like to use ones that are specifically food themed cuz in my head it’s giving my skin the nutrients I don’t wanna give to myself
My favorite kinds are: the tony Molly “I am-“ ones. Mediheal placenta sheet mask (my skin litterally glows after the placenta one) innisfree honey sleeping mask
I don’t recommend doing diy skincare but the only thing I will ever recommend along the lines of diy skincare is a honey and avacado face mask, makes my skin so hydrated and plump
Foods~
(Some of these might be a fear food for alot and can be a little calorie dense but they help with your appearance)
Berries: especially blueberries and strawberries (have highest antioxidants, which help your apperance)
Cherry and pomegranate juice (antioxidant thing I mentioned above)
Avacados and chia seeds (kinda high in calories I know! But they have lots of omegas and healthy fats and chia seeds are full of omegas and proteins, these will keep your skin dewy and keep your hair nice, chia seeds will also keep you feeling fuller for longer and are a natural laxative)
Eggs: protien+good for your hair
Health in general+ weight~
Quit nicotine. I know that nicotine is like a staple in our community and I myself and on my journey of trying to quitting smoking but after years it catches up to you, and it causes acne. If your not eating your body isn’t going to put that nutrients to upkeeping your face, I already have faint smokers lines around my lips. plus it makes working out easier
(If ur a girl/have female parts) you need to get a probiotic in and get regularly tested for bv and ye⭐️ast infections. You will be prone to bv and yeast “imbalances” while starving and they can cause a lot of problems from stomach bloating to lack of desire and pain and a lot of times are asymptomatic. This happened to me and caused alot of mental anguish because the pain made me question my gender identity and the bloating made the mental aspect of my e d worse and I didn’t even have any symptoms
Don’t use miralax, it’s really bad for you. Drink senna tea, it’s less suspicious and actually works faster and better than laxatives. Plus it doesn’t destroy your organs like miralax
Don’t use trendy diet pills. If your going to take anything get “Garcinia Cambodia” supplement and take it with an apple cider vinegar supplement. Get the acv pills instead of drinking actual acv becsuse it’s better on your teeth (have to be taken together, a study was done on this combination plus it’s been really helping me)
Fast instead of ⭐️ve: I’m not going to get too deep into the science of it all because I’m bad with my words and explaining but basically when your restricting I t’s actually more harmful to your metabolism, makes you crave more food and makes your hungrier making everything harder because that’s what actually puts your body into starvation mode is a constant input of extremely few calories. When your fasting your body goes into “modes” that are actually benifical to your body,metabolism, cravings and feelings of hunger. When you focus more on not eating anything for a long period of time (fasting) vs “I can only have x calories today so I’m gonna eat x and x and x” -(restricting), you’ll find it makes you not only loose weight faster but also make it feel easier
Which is why I see a lot of ppl on here say things like “I can fast so easily but restricting is so hard” well that’s because there’s literally a science to it. And a little secret, after you do general fasting a few days (not for days straight but more so one meal a day like 24 hour fasts and 16+odd hour fasts) it gets easy. It is litterallt so much easier than plain restricting
Take collegen supplements if it’s something your not afraid of because their very good for supple skin and also for hair as well recent studies and random experiments I’ve seen on YouTube have shown
Take biotin~ for your hair
Drink “sparkling ice” drinks. They 5 Cals and have vitamin B’s which are good for your metabolism
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I will be adding anytning I might’ve forgotten becayse I kinda rushed this because I rlly wanted to share all of these with everyone in the community after I got inspiration from the post I saw earlier. Feel free to comment or dm me any questions about the products and the sciences
simple skincare tips!
🌼eat the foods that love you back. your skin is a direct mirror of your internal situation. if your digestive system is being bombarded often by foods that create a lot of wastes and residues, that does more harm than good. and so, the struggle to eliminate them will be reflected in your skin. your diet constitutes the vast majority of your skin health. change your meals to be whole food plant based (still delicious, satisfying, and exciting) & watch your skin glow and your skincare routine simplify.
🌼be conscious of what's going on your skin. the skin layers can be over-cleansed, imbalanced, and aggravated when the skin microbiome and pH are disrupted. if you wipe out the beneficial bacterial populations with harshly formulated products, you may find that you break out (i.e. harmful bacterial populations begin to thrive). use gentle, simple skin formulas such as castile soaps, natural oils & butters (i recommend jojoba oil for mostly everyone), natural soap bars, and clays. most commercial skin care products disturb the skin cells (introduce too much foreign material to the body, unsuitable pH ranges, imbalance the microbiome, etc). they sell because it's convention to buy them, the brands are well-known, and their sales pitches are enticing. but really, no cream or serum will ever be the magic potion your skin was asking for. it will only be a band-aid, at best. truly healthy skin comes from diet, and the products are just for any other necessary maintenance. if you get a pimple, you should look first to why the pimple emerged, not what treatment will remove it.
🌼keep your lymph flowing. simple ways to do this are through good lifestyle habits. things like doing exercise & sports you find fun, breathwork, dry brushing, eating lots of fruit, avoiding wearing bras & other tight clothing items, lymphatic massage/gua sha can all be helpful.
🌼focus on hydration via fresh fruits and veggies. the water within plant foods is more useable to your cells, and your skin will cease being overly oily or dry overtime (especially if you reduce/eliminate your salt & oil intake). it will also help to encourage lymphatic flow, so you can see problems like blemishes, cellulite, old scars diminish after great consistency.
🌼allow your skin to breathe. this is especially good if you spend time in stuffy (poorly ventilated) indoor environments, like offices, hospitals, planes, etc. one great way is via herbal facial steaming (i recommend it 3x a week or so). make a hot infusion of an aromatic tea, cover it and allow it to cool a few minutes, and, with closed eyes, allow the pores to open and receive the herbal medicine (this is a great time to meditate, manifest, and just feel pampered). getting more fresh air, working up a sweat, and going to a sauna are also ways to allow your skin to breathe.
🌼avoid steroid prescriptions creams at all costs. they are very deleterious to health in the long term, and they can be very painful to come off of. it's not a real fix. it's not worth hurting your kidneys & adrenals for. evaluate your diet instead. do you eat dairy? choose plant-based dairy options instead (they're simple to make yourself too). do you eat a lot of fats? try oil-free cooking methods instead (opt for sautéing with a bit of water, baking, steaming, air frying, etc). avoiding eating out as much.
🌼be aware of what you're putting in your hair as well. your shampoos, conditioner, leave-ins, gels, moisturizers, oils, serums, etc all tend to touch your face too, when your hair touches your face. if they wouldn't be good enough to put on your face, don't put them in your hair. a lot of the best skin cleansers are also suitable as shampoos. a lot of oils and butters can be used for both. plant-based gels like aloe vera or flax seed are simple to DIY, and are dual-use once again. basically, this will simplify your life.
🌼understand the water that runs through your pipes. if your shower and tap water are like most people's around the world, they aren't optimal for our skin. for example, they contain added chemicals to sanitize the water but that can prevent the proper microbiomes from developing on your skin. a weak skin microbiome is prone to skin issues. so, try to use distilled water on your face (if you're not able to get a water filter, a gallon jug at a store is affordable. they're about $1.30 USD in my area).
Reveal Your Bollywood Glow: Unveiling Celebrity-Inspired Skincare Secrets.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This blog is going to be all about Indian & bollywood inspired products and skincare tips. If you also want a blog separately about Indian natural and authentic skincare or hair care I'll surely make it. 🫶
Know Your Skin Type : Identify your skin type - whether it's oily, dry, combination, or sensitive - to tailor your skincare routine effectively.
Cleanse Like a Star : Use a gentle cleanser like Cetaphil or Neutrogena to remove dirt and makeup and a oil cleaner is a must if you wear makeup daily. Opt for micellar water for a quick and effective cleanse on busy days. (But I don't really recommend it).
Exfoliate for Radiance : Incorporate a mild exfoliator like St. Ives Apricot Scrub or The Body Shop's Vitamin C Glow-Revealing Liquid Peel to slough off dead skin cells and reveal glowing skin. And my personal favorite coffee scrub from The Bombay shaving company. Don't exfoliate more than twice a week.
Hydration Is Key : Use a hydrating toner such as Clinique Moisture Surge Face Spray for an instant boost of hydration or toner + mist from pilgrim works like magic (my fav 😭).
Targeted Treatments : Include a serum with ingredients like hyaluronic acid (for hydration) or vitamin C (for hyperpigmentation) if you are under 17 or 18 like me don't use vitamin c or if you want to use in very less %, I use 2% kojic acid for my uneven skin tone from pilgrim, it's very begniner friendly. (Always consult a dermatologist for your skincare don't go around seeing videos on insta and YouTube believing them). I recommend Minimalist if you want chemical bases serums.
If you are above 23 or 25 Incorporate a retinol-based cream like RoC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Night Cream for anti-aging benefits. (Got this tip from mumma for y'all 😭✨️)
Sun Protection Essentials : Always apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher, such as La Roche-Posay Anthelios Ultra Light Fluid, to protect your skin from harmful UV rays. More affordable and effective sunscreens from brands — dot and key, aqualogica, Dr. Seth and wish care.
Overnight Nourishment: Use a hydrating overnight mask like Laneige Water Sleeping Mask to replenish moisture while you sleep. Incorporate a facial oil like The Ordinary's Rose Hip Seed Oil for added nourishment and radiance.
DIY Treatments Inspired by Bollywood:
- Try a turmeric, gram flour and yogurt face mask inspired by Priyanka Chopra for glowing skin.
- Use aloe vera gel like Deepika Padukone for its soothing and hydrating properties. (MY fav bolly actress btw 😭❤️)
Lifestyle Tips for Healthy Skin : Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day people are not stupid that they are going around telling you to drink water, IT'S A MUST!. Incorporate antioxidant-rich foods like fruits, vegetables, and green tea into your diet for overall skin health.
Some of my fav brands (mostly available in india) : dot and key, Foxtale, pilgrim, minimalist, st. Botanica, organic harvest and aqualogica!
Fav brand released by a bollywood actress: Hyphen by Kriti Sanon, their lip balm can even beat Rhode's lip balm istg- and their sunscreen 🔛🔝.
Channel your inner Bollywood diva and achieve a radiant, flawless skin with these skincare tips and product recommendations. Let your skin glow like a star!
SUMMER GLOW UP
—Welcome back ! Or welcome
Howdy my dear gems ! It’s me fiaanii and here I’m gonna break down the SECRET OF ULTIMATE GLOW UP !!
So… let’s go
We will divide this into 2 parts
PHYSICAL GLOW UP
MENTAL GLOWUP
Let’s first define what glowup actually means ¿!
Glow up :: a significant transformation, typically in physical appearance, that is perceived as an improvement. It's the process of turning yourself into a better version of yourself and becoming more confident, attractive, and successful.
And first we will start with PHYSICAL GLOW UP as I believe that if you feel good physically then it can make you feel good and beautiful mentally
Note : you’re beautiful the way you are this is just to enhance your beauty
physical glow up
Know your body & yourself ::
Knowing your face features and working on them accordingly can make a big change in your appearance! And it will enhance your own beauty—! And ISTG @dear peachie is a the best YouTube channel I can suggest you when it comes to know about yourself more ! Their channel can help you recognise your face shape your face type and also help you with finding your make up syle and over all appearance !
Clear skin ::
yup ! This is in the list as well like come on who doesn’t want a clear skin ¿ and I will tell you my own routine and also the tips
1. Get to know your skin type [ mine is dry skin ]
Well get your face wash and stuff according to your skin type and I’m telling you this because I myself choose the wrong face wash and I kinda regret it ! Coz it messed up my face and now I’m dealing with pimples
2. Now as you got to know your skin buy the product accordingly
Now have a routine I will tell you mine
First I was my face with a korean foam face wash but before washing my face I like to massage my face with coconut oil and gua sha then I use rose water as a toner and spray in on my face [ it helped me with pimples] also while washing my face I usually use cold water since my skin doesn’t like hot or warm water !
Then I use my moisturiser and I use baby cream as a moisturiser! Then I just use my sunscreen I use it from lakmé and yeah ! That’s it
Workout ::
Well workout as it has many benefits not only to be in shape I mean yeah it’s also a priority but also to feel good about your body and be more confident within yourself!
Vibe & aura ::
Create your own vibe and aura that you like ! Be yourself and don’t care what others think just don’t give a fuck be who you want ! Do what you want—! No one gets to tell you what to do ! Also YK creating a playlist to make you feel that way helps alot ! And I literally listen to the songs and playlist to have that kinda vibe which I want
HAIR ::
I use rice water for my hair ! It’s quite simple to use just soak rice in water the day before you have to wash your hair and then when you have to wash it ! Just rinse you hair with rice for like an hour then just wash it like you usually do ! I do it and it helped me alot !
Also for hair style I will recommend @dear peachie as they show you which hairstyle is best for your face shape as my face shape is diamond so I just go with Wonyoung’s hairstyle as they suit me the best and rosé’s hairstyle aswell
At night time ::
At night time I like to just wash my face without the face wash and then I like to moisturise it with the cream and yeah ! That’s it
Lips ::
Many ppl don’t mention the lip part but yeah ! I love to scrub my lips using my own DIY lip scrub coz I’m born at in a strict family and they won’t buy me a lip scrub so I decided to DIY it so… take sugar , honey and coconut oil mix them together and that’s it and then after I’m done I like to ise vasline for my lips !
Beauty hacks ::
Use coconut oil for long lashes or thick eye brow
Keep two spoons in fridge then take them in the morning and massage with them under your eyes for de-puffing your face
Do face yoga to get slimer and defined face
Mental glow up
Once you have a really good and powerful mindset no one can stop you from being your best self
Be your own therapist ::
Now take a diary rant on it , write your emotions, explain your day your problem and just imagine it as your best friend who won’t judge you and help you to feel better! When I tell you that paper had more patience than real people I’m telling you the fact ! Being your own therapist can help you be yourself better and just clear up your mind once you share everything with your diary
Explore ::
Go to new places and explore them try to socialise or go on date with yourself yk solo dates spend some time with yourself! Go to cafe or a restaurant and make bunch of friends but don’t get attached to anyone! DONOTTT ! Be bold and confident because you live once and you won’t get that moment in life again so just goo for it ! You don’t wanna be old and regret to not give a goo and enjoy instead you wanna remember those beautiful memories!
Don’t give a Fu.k ::
I Personally love this one ! Because it says your energy from being wasted and your mood probably too…!
All you gotta do is react less and ignore the things that you don’t like or the people you don’t like ! Simple
Eg - they make fun of you because you’re being you :: don’t give a f and enjoy what you’re doin’
You’re bestie showed you her/his real colours and turned out to be a nasty ugly creature [ and a plastic] don’t react it was probably a lesson for you , ignore her / him
Drinking plenty of water is the best way to keep the skin hydrated. The second best method is to use a hydrating face mask. According to experts, the best time for skin care is at night. When we sleep, our skin repairs and rejuvenates itself. Overnight face masks are an excellent way to hydrate and revitalise our skin while we sleep. There are numerous overnight face masks on the market, but have you ever tried making your own? This article will provide you with a few DIY overnight face mask recipes that will repair, hydrate, and revitalise your skin. Continue to read.
Best Face Mask to Use Overnight to Hydrate Your Skin
1. Overnight Face Mask with Aloe Vera and Vitamin E to Hydrate Skin How to make an aloe vera and vitamin E overnight face mask to hydrate your skin? Using a clean and dry needle, prick 1-2 vitamin E capsules. Extract the oil from the inside and combine it with a tablespoon of aloe vera gel. Apply this overnight face mask all over your face to hydrate it and massage it in. Wait for it to dry before leaving it on for the rest of the night. Wash off with fresh water the next morning and reapply this overnight face mask to hydrate your skin every night or alternate nights. Benefits – Aloe Vera – Aloe vera provides our skin with excellent hydration and moisturization. It can revitalise dull, dry, and tired skin by providing optimal hydration. Natural astringent properties of aloe vera aid in balancing the oiliness of the skin. It moisturises and hydrates the skin without leaving it oily. Aloe vera gel contains 96% water, over 200 healing phytonutrients, and 18 amino acids. It's no surprise that it works wonders on our skin. Aloe vera, due to its high water content, provides superior hydration for all skin types, including sensitive skin. Aloe vera has no comedogenic properties. Because aloe vera does not clog pores, it can be used safely on all skin types. Aloe vera, when used regularly, repairs dry skin and softens the skin without causing any side effects. Aloe vera has anti-inflammatory properties that help to quickly soothe dry, irritated skin and provide relief from skin irritation and itching caused by dryness. Several studies have found that aloe vera contains a variety of nutrients, enzymes, and plant compounds that work together to improve our skin's health and make it soft and glowing. Aloe vera's natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, as well as its astringent properties, aid in keeping our skin acne-free. It also aids in the rapid drying of active acne. Aloe vera is also high in antioxidants. Regular use of an aloe vera infused overnight face pack not only hydrates our skin, but also protects it from environmental factors such as sun damage, pollution, dry weather, and so on. Because it contains 'gibberellin,' a growth hormone, and 'glucomannan,' a polysaccharide, aloe vera is extremely effective in increasing collagen production in the skin. These two components of aloe vera help to increase collagen levels in the skin, making it soft, supple, and glowing. Vitamin E – Another important ingredient in our overnight face mask recipe for hydrating skin is vitamin E. It is referred to as the beauty vitamin. This vitamin is extremely beneficial in hydrating and moisturising our skin. Vitamin E deeply nourishes our skin and aids in the rejuvenation of dull, dry skin. Vitamin E has anti-oxidant properties. It promotes new cell growth and keeps the skin healthy and radiant. Vitamin E fights free radicals and protects skin cells from oxidative damage, preventing dryness and a variety of other skin problems such as dull skin, premature ageing, and so on. Dry skin is more prone to ageing prematurely. Vitamin E is well-known for its anti-aging benefits. It helps to delay the appearance of ageing signs such as wrinkles and lines, preserving the skin's youthfulness for a long time. This vitamin also promotes collagen production in the skin, which helps to maintain skin elasticity, softness, and suppleness. Vitamin E is also known for its anti-pigmentation properties. Because vitamin E is an antioxidant, it promotes new cell growth. As a result, damaged and pigmented cells are replaced by new and healthy cells, and the marks and scars on our faces fade. Vitamin E has the ability to replenish the skin's lost moisture, which aids in the repair of skin dryness and the restoration of soft, supple skin. It also strengthens the skin's connective tissues, which helps to prevent dry skin and improve skin texture. 2. Glycerin and rose water overnight face mask for hydrated skin How to Make an Overnight Glycerin and Rose Water Face Mask to Hydrate Skin? This is a tried-and-true overnight face mask for hydration. Mix a few drops of glycerin into a tablespoon of rose water. After washing your face with a facial cleanser, apply this overnight face mask to hydrate skin all over the face and neck. Using your fingertips, massage this into your skin. Allow it to absorb completely before leaving it on for the rest of the night. The next morning, wash off. Every night, reapply this overnight face mask to hydrate your skin. Benefits – Glycerin – Glycerin is an excellent natural moisturiser for our skin. It is heaven for those who have dry or dehydrated skin. Glycerin helps to hydrate our skin, heal dryness, and restore soft, glowing skin. This is why we included it in our homemade overnight face mask recipe in order to hydrate our skin. Glycerin has humectant properties. It can absorb moisture from the air and lock it into the skin, providing additional moisture to our skin. It basically acts like a sponge, drawing water to the skin's outer layer. Furthermore, glycerin can aid in slowing the evaporation of water from our skin's surface. As a result, it improves our skin's ability to retain water and keeps it hydrated. Our skin becomes more prone to irritation, redness, and moisture loss as we age. Furthermore, environmental factors such as sun, wind, and pollution harm our skin. This can result in tiny cracks on the skin's outer surface that are not visible with the naked eye. When used on a regular basis, glycerin helps to fill those cracks and restore soft, smooth skin. Glycerin's emollient properties keep our skin moisturised, soft, and supple. The most significant benefit of using glycerin in an overnight face pack to hydrate skin is that the therapeutic properties of glycerin aid in the healing of a variety of skin problems. Glycerin can thicken the epidermal layer of the skin and improve barrier function. As a result, the skin is better protected from the effects of harmful chemicals and environmental elements. Dry skin is more prone to skin infections such as psoriasis and eczema. Glycerin has powerful skin-healing properties. It not only soothes dry skin but also treats fungal infections. Furthermore, it promotes cell growth, which aids in the natural health and beauty of our skin. Rose Water – To hydrate the skin, rose water is an essential ingredient in overnight face packs. It contains a variety of natural bioactive chemicals that provide incredible benefits to our skin. It also contains rose oil, which moisturises the skin and helps us achieve glowing, even skin tone. Rose water moisturises and hydrates dry and dehydrated skin. Furthermore, rose water contains skin-friendly nutrients such as vitamin A, B3, C, E, and anti-oxidants. Vitamin A stimulates sebum production in the skin. Natural sebum aids in moisturising and removing dryness from the skin. It also increases blood flow to the skin, which aids in the nourishment of skin cells and makes our skin soft, supple, and glowing. Free radicals can cause our skin to become dry and dull. Rose water contains vitamin B3, which has anti-oxidant properties. It protects our skin from free radical damage as well as environmental elements, allowing it to remain healthy and soft. Furthermore, vitamin B3 promotes new cell growth, which aids in the development of even toned, soft, and supple skin. Rose water also contains vitamin C. As an antioxidant, vitamin C aids in the production of collagen in our skin, resulting in a soft, supple, and glowing complexion. Vitamin C also has hydrating properties, which aid in the hydration of dry skin. Furthermore, rose water is high in vitamin E. Vitamin E has anti-oxidant properties. It can also replenish the skin's lost moisture and make it soft and supple. To avoid common skin ailments such as acne, dry skin, dull skin, and so on, it is critical to maintain the pH balance of the skin. Regular application of rose water aids in the restoration of the skin's pH balance, keeping it healthy and happy. Rose water has anti-inflammatory properties. It is useful for soothing dry and irritated skin. Rose water's cooling and soothing properties provide relief from sunburned, irritated skin while also hastening the healing process. 3. Overnight Face Mask with Olive Oil and Coconut Oil to Hydrate Skin How do you make an overnight face mask to hydrate your skin with olive oil and coconut oil? Another fantastic homemade overnight face mask recipe for hydrating dull and dry skin. Combine a few drops of olive oil and coconut oil. Massage this overnight face mask onto your face and neck to hydrate your skin. Continue gently massaging with your fingertips for some time. Leave it on overnight and then wash it off in the morning. Every night, reapply this overnight face mask to hydrate your skin. Benefits – Olive Oil – Olive oil can be extremely beneficial to dry and dehydrated skin. It contains healthy fats that moisturise and heal dry skin, such as omega 6, omega 9, and oleic acid. Furthermore, olive oil creates a protective layer on the skin and aids in moisture and water retention, keeping the skin hydrated, soft, and supple. Squalene, a natural organic compound found in olive oil, has excellent moisturising properties. Squalene moisturises our skin while also forming a protective barrier to inhibit the growth of microorganisms, thereby improving our overall skin health. Psoriasis, which causes flaking of the skin, can be caused by extremely dry skin. Olive oil contains monounsaturated fatty acids, which moisturise the skin and prevent flaking. Olive oil contains vitamin E, which aids in the treatment of dry skin. This vitamin is an anti-oxidant that fights free radicals and prevents dryness. In addition, vitamin E can replenish the skin's lost moisture and heal dryness. Vitamin E's anti-inflammatory properties aid in reducing skin irritation caused by dryness, while its antioxidant properties protect cells from damage caused by psoriasis. Eczema can affect people who have extremely dry skin. It can cause rough, itchy, inflamed, and even bleeding skin. Regular application of olive oil nourishes and softens the skin while also soothing eczema inflammation. Furthermore, due to its natural antibacterial properties, olive oil prevents bacterial infection on the affected skin areas. In addition to vitamin E, olive oil is high in vitamin A. Vitamin A aids in the repair of dry skin by increasing sebum secretion in the skin. This vitamin also promotes cell growth, which helps to repair our skin's texture. Coconut Oil – Coconut oil is an essential component of our homemade overnight face mask recipe for hydrating our skin. The medium chain fatty acids and triglycerides in coconut oil aid in moisturising the skin. Additionally, coconut oil can coat the skin to form a barrier that stops moisture and water from escaping via pores, keeping skin nourished and strong. Vitamin E is abundant in coconut oil. This vitamin is essential for having healthy, soft skin. Vitamin E's antioxidant properties protect our skin cells from free radical damage, such as dryness, dehydration, and ageing. UV damage can also cause our skin to become dry and dehydrated, and vitamin E can help combat UV damage. It can also replenish the skin's lost moisture, assisting in the repair of dry and dehydrated skin. Coconut oil's antifungal and anti-inflammatory properties protect the skin from fungal infections. Coconut oil, a rich source of proteins, helps to enhance the cellular health of our skin. The anti-oxidant components in coconut oil aid in preventing acne, dryness, and early skin ageing. Coconut oil contains nutrients and anti-oxidants that aid in collagen production in the skin. This, in turn, promotes the skin's natural elasticity and firmness while keeping dryness at bay. Coconut oil contains fatty acids that are structurally similar to the fatty acids found on the cells of the outer skin layer. This allows coconut oil to be quickly absorbed and reach the deepest layers of the skin. It provides much-needed moisture to the skin layers and aids in the repair of dryness. Coconut oil's anti-inflammatory properties also aid in the treatment of dry skin. We shared three incredible overnight face mask recipes to hydrate our skin here. Natural beauty tips offer a refreshing alternative to mainstream beauty products, emphasizing the use of plant-based ingredients and eco-conscious practices. In this article, we'll delve into the world of natural beauty and explore ten tips for achieving radiant skin the natural way.
The Power of Natural Ingredients
Natural Beauty Tips begins with harnessing the power of botanical extracts, essential oils, and plant-based ingredients. These gentle yet effective elements offer a wealth of benefits for the skin, including hydration, nourishment, and protection against environmental stressors.
Gentle Cleansing for Healthy Skin
A crucial step in any skincare routine is cleansing, and opting for gentle, natural cleansers can help maintain the skin's delicate balance. Look for products formulated with ingredients like coconut oil, witch hazel, or green tea extract to cleanse without stripping away natural oils.
Hydration and Moisture Balance
Proper hydration is essential for healthy, radiant skin. Incorporate hydrating ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, aloe vera, and cucumber extract into your skincare regimen to replenish moisture and maintain a dewy complexion.
Exfoliation for Renewal
Regular exfoliation is key to removing dead skin cells and promoting cell turnover. Choose natural exfoliants like sugar, oatmeal, or ground almond meal to gently buff away dullness and reveal smoother, more radiant skin.
Sun Protection with Natural Sunscreens
Protecting your skin from the sun's harmful UV rays is vital for maintaining skin health and preventing premature aging. Opt for mineral-based sunscreens containing zinc oxide or titanium dioxide, which provide broad-spectrum protection without the use of harsh chemicals.
Nourish and Repair with Natural Oils
Natural oils are potent sources of vitamins, antioxidants, and essential fatty acids that nourish and repair the skin. Incorporate oils such as argan, jojoba, or rosehip into your skincare routine to moisturize, soothe, and protect your skin from environmental damage.
DIY Beauty Treatments for Personalized Care
Explore the world of DIY beauty treatments using simple, natural ingredients from your kitchen. Create nourishing face masks, hair treatments, and body scrubs using ingredients like honey, avocado, coconut oil, and yogurt for personalized care tailored to your skin's needs.
Mindful Makeup Choices
When it comes to makeup, choose products made with natural and organic ingredients to minimize exposure to synthetic chemicals. Opt for mineral-based foundations, lipsticks, and eyeshadows that provide long-lasting color without compromising your skin's health.
Prioritize Inner Wellness
True beauty radiates from within, so prioritize your overall well-being to achieve radiant skin. Practice stress-relief techniques such as meditation, yoga, or deep breathing exercises to promote relaxation and reduce inflammation in the body.
Embrace Self-Love and Confidence
Above all, embrace self-love and confidence as essential components of your beauty routine. Celebrate your unique features, imperfections, and journey towards self-discovery, knowing that true beauty transcends outward appearance and emanates from a place of authenticity and inner harmony.
