Today I came across old voicemails of us still saved on my phone I don't know what's worse your old sweet nothing's and good morning babys caressed by a voice only meant for me to hear or the icy spine chilling pleads of your last message with it's frigid tears as you gasp at me not to end us before I slammed into your emotions like a mack truck?

Both are terrible because one, my days are filled with utter emptiness where sunlight use to creep in and soak through every mundane thing about my life and you would brighter it to effervescent exhilaration. You brought life to my smiles and made all the tears feel like they had a reason out of the suffering your love could make a harlot blush and a saint cry. I think it's worse that I still mull over these recordings like scabs of a wound that just won't fester and wither away because it was once a love bite of ecstasy and joy and it knew what could spring forth from its marks a potential future of us staying forever and I listen to the agonized voice of the man I love, and all I feel is fucking numb might as well blare that Rhianna song where she belts out put a bullet to his head get it over with (because you just don't murder your best friend with your words like that) except I wasn't unfaithful far from it if anything I betrayed my own arms before ever thinking of leaving his. So how did it come to this? Am I still wearing my diagnoses like a name tag MENTALLY UNWELL flashing and lit up like a firecracker of a worn out excuse yet I saw myself sinking and I couldn't grab hold bawling my eyes out to oblivion and riding the boom a rang all the way up to the sky of euphoria emotions like a shockwave. How could I give him the love he deserves when my mirror was a battle field so what it's a an illness idle with withering hands crack my back or shrink my brain give me more pills until I learn to straighten this titer totter smile, who will be there when I become normal again. Lash out so no one loves me. Let no one love me. Swallow the words, teeth in tongue like cement. Just loose myself. Loose myself to love myself back to pretty patience. Take out my first aid iodine and bandaids and fluff my skirt and move on. All those love songs, love letters, photos, still didn't piece a soul for no reason though.
