By far, the Bagginshield/Hobbit/LotR fandom has been the safest on I've found. And I've been in a lot, I'm still in the Sonic fandom but that's more of *watching from a distance, eating popcorn while everything is on fire, waiting for new updates to games, tv shows, and movies*

Me: as a non-binary cosplayer, I really enjoy the androgyny of dressing as FNaF animatronics, if that makes sense. It feels a bit like reclaiming something for myself, taking a character designed by a not-great person and making them a vessel for my own personal expression. People can't tell if there's a man or a woman in there, and they don't care, it's just some weirdo having fun, dressed as a robot. I'm living my best "Is it a boy? Is it a girl? It's a rabbit!" life right now, and best of all, I don't even have to worry about my face shape or body type "not matching" like I used to do with the cosplays of conventionally attractive, binary-gendered characters I cosplayed before I decided to embrace the cringe and put on a giant bunny suit, you know?

That one post I saw two weeks ago, about how Springbonnie is an agender and sexless character that uses they/it pronouns, making it the first officially non-binary character in the franchise, and as a representation of William Afton, which he canonically used to present himself to the public eye, to be seen as something other than who he "really" was, until he eventually became one with the character, makes this fusion of a repressed, self-loathing man and his genderless fursona an accidental metaphor for transitioning, thusly queercoding the main antagonist and most well-known human in the lore:

Latina/Hispanic!readers

I understand that there are gonna be a lot of people who won't agree with me, but this is something I have to said because I have seen it in so many fics of different Fandoms, and just in general in social media, mostly in the Anglo-speaking world.

Hispanic and Latin people are not just  brown/olive skin.

We can be black with really dark or light skin, we can also be white, pale, be hispanic/latinos with asian descent, and none of that is going to make us less Latinos or hispanic.

I want to do this post cause I'm a little bit... confused as to why people that aren't from Latinamerica can't comprehend this. I have seen a lot of comments like 'this person is not hispanic they are black' or 'they don't look Latino because...' and that is obviously a consecuence of the steriotype Hollywood has of us and

it is really perpetueded by so many Americans/Anglos with Latinamerican descent. I know they don't do it with bad intentions, but I have seen it so many times in differents apps when they try to describe themselves saying things like 'I'm latina' They Just say that. Like what? What exactly are you trying to say baby? Am I supposed to know how you look just from that? And it's so obvious that that comes from someone who hasn't live in Latinamerica because someone who have actually has just know how diverse this place is.

Now when it comes to fics: Once I saw someone complaining (if I can call it like that) in a fic in a very rude way about how the writer should've label it as a white!reader, then there was this girl agreeing in the same way saying that she was Latina and that she have to filtered some words on fics... Like girl, you saying you are Latina isn't gonna make us know how you look physically.

I believe that writers shouldn't be forced to label their work as black!reader or white!reader (And it's a good idea to just mention, if they want, if it's a H/L reader and keep it as ambiguous as it can if they want to be inclusive. If your reader is brown its ok too, let's just not forget Hispanic/Latino are not races.)

The stereotypes: I never really care, I got "used" to them, so when I saw them on fics at the beginning I thought they were dumb, so I just try to laugh about them, but then it got to a point were it was just too much so I try to ignore it. And don't let me start with this weird thing some (mostly) Anglo-speaking people have with Spain, they literally hate them for something they didn't even do, and would find "offensive" talking in spanish, but then their first language is ENGLISH (I have seen them on twitter mostly shocking but there are some here too, and honestly I have to laugh at that, it's so ironic. (If you are one of those people please get some help, don't go spreading hate for no reason) and they would make their reader like that and I just don't even know what to say about it. I just shifted from the main thing I wanted to say but I have to get it out. I apologise if you got here and didn't understand what I said, I'm not good writing in any language lol.
