it's after a hunt, and zeppelin noses sonny's arm to encourage her to lift it and allow her to settle completely against her side. zeppelin can sense that sonny is hurt, and lays her head down on her paws as she huffs out a deep breath, earning a chuckle from dean. "i think she's upset that you got hurt. makes two of us."

sonny  was  in  an  immense  amount  of  pain  after  the  hunt.  but  if  there  was  one  thing,  she  never  showed  it.  refused  to  make  anyone  feel  bad  about  what  happened.  just  keeping  that  small  smile  on  her  face.  granted,  not  her  usual  big  smile,  but  it  was  still  a  smile.  attention  now  turning  to  zeppelin,  feeling  her  nose  nudge  her  arm.  immediately  taking  note  as  she  lifted  her  arm  and  allowed  the  dog  to  press  to  her  side.  almost  snuggling  the  dog,  feeling  the  immediate  comfort.  brown  eyes  then  glancing  over  at  dean,  "i'm  okay.  nothing  i  can't  heal  from."  her  words  not  only  towards  the  dog,  but  also  to  dean.

While continuing to procrastinate actually doing my grading, I took my giant Anatolian Shepard to the dog park today. She is very large, very cuddly, very loud, and a big baby. The dog park in question is relatively small (the town is only about 1600 peeps) and divided into two sections, one for smol doggos and one for lorge doggos separated by your standard chain link fence. When we arrived there was no one in the lorge pen, and one woman with her mix of 6 smol dogs in their designated pen. We entered the lorge pen to a chorus of furious barks and high pitched snarls from the fluffy balls of fury on the other side of the fence. I unhooked my big girl and she immediately went to the fence and began barking ferociously right back. The group of them began running back and forth and back and forth along the chain link fence. I was unaware that there was a sizable gap in the fence about halfway down. Two of the angry puffs squeezed over to our side of the fence. I tensed thinking they were going to bite my baby, but instead.... these little traitors joined my girl running under her belly and around her legs to get a better barking position against their former allies. The other woman just shook her head and informed me that this is the standard war game they play every time they come to the dog park. They will ignore everything and everyone, unless they are at the fence. If there is no one at the fence, they will divide themselves into two groups and proceed to snarl and bark and chase each other up and down the fence and that, in fact, is exactly what they had been doing when we pulled up and she had called them back to her side of the fence so we could go in. Apparently, the two that joined my girl felt that she needed some support on her side.

if they can not be near anything without jumping on and knocking people over then keep them at home. if the only thing they do is bark their head off all day until you get frustrated and kick them out of the house and for the neighbors to deal with listening to then do everyone, especially it, a favor and give it to a house that gonna actually care about it instead of tyring to keep it outta sight
