I always enjoy writing for magazines and this recent Total Film feature was a chance for me to express my love of crime drama too. I didn’t write the whole feature - it was a huge list for issue 333 - but I contributed copy about my favourite screen detectives.
Portugal has had a special place in my heart for a long time and songs like Stretching for the Sky, Interlude and Same as Before has roots here. It was a long time since I went last and to once again feel the vibrant atmosphere✨
I kept the sounds so you get to really be a part.
I have a little bit of news coming very soon so stay close.
film journal page - scott pilgrim vs the world (2010, Edgar Wright)
based on comic series by Brian Lee O’Malley
I really love the art style of the comics so I tried to keep that video game/comic book vibe throughout! You can see this with the use of the script and the callouts. If you can’t tell, I like using glitter and this one was fun because I could match it to scenes (blue glitter in hair dye aisle with knives). Overall this is a super fun movie so I had tons of fun making this.
So, I made a template of a film journal like moleskine and I would like to know if someone wants it to print because I have seen that these journals are not done anymore
Going back to basic. PS. Nike Tiempo is fire!!! #filmjournal #filmmakerslife #nofilter #footballislife https://www.instagram.com/p/CoTyqOUyoqi/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
