A Prissy Girl’s Guide to Winter

you guys LOVED the summer guide so it’s only right i make a winter version. i’ll be covering all the same topics in this posts that’ll outline what the prissy girl agenda is for this years frosty season. this post will give you about a month and a half to prepare for a prissy girl winter! ❄️💕🍧

what’s the look this winter?

“cute and cozy” i, personally, am going for a layered, always warm, mattified look this winter. somewhere between maximalist and bougie. still very much bimboesque, as this is a year long thing for a prissy girl. long big bombshell curls and big fluffy lashes! not to mention lots and lots of pink and white! lots of layered looks.

first and foremost…

skin prep is a priority again. winter is usually a dry time of year for people. instead of using oils and lotions, opt for heavier creams for moisture and hydration. some of my favs include cerave moisture cream, jergens shea butter body cream, and bath and body works body creams.

preparation

new thicker bedding and blankets to keep comfy and warm.

store all your hot weather clothes! but be sure to leave out the layerable pieces

buy some winter boots if you don’t have any! the ones i’m buying are the pink, black, brown and white cubby demonias.

car maintenance is extremely important. get your tires rotated, or new tires altogether. ensure your car’s brakes are properly maintained and your car’s heat is functioning properly.

invest in new body scrubs as this is usually driest time of year. the winter is the perfect time to work on your skin on the body because your skin has time to turnover and heal.

buy some mugs for hot chocolate and tea!

buying some thick tights and stockings and undershirts for layering.

fur coats give a very bougie, expensive aura while being functional fashion for the super cold weather. i personally think you should have two to three

white gold and sterling silver jewelry over gold!

leg warmers are another example of functional fashion. they give such a cute delicate touch to your look while providing so much more warmth

bow details. just so cute. buy some ribbon and add it to anything. buy big or small hair bows

victoria’s secret pajamas and slippers. the classic stripe collection are a must but vs has lots of high quality cold weather pieces.

tote bags. something about big extra cute purses add to the maximal look of prissy girl winter to me. i love using my telfar, juicy bag, and victoria’s secret bag in the cold months to compliment my layers and details.

knitted clothing pieces. the perfect warm cozy touch to a look.

velour tracksuits. very self explanatory. super comfy n cozy and look amazing paired with boots

cute n comfy loungewear for cozy grl looks!

ear muffs

fuzzy sets and pieces. fashion nova has really cute girly fuzzy pieces. let’s look for hats and gloves with fuzzy details

fur and rhinestone details. fur trims, blingy jewelry! think bratz forever diamondz, myscene bling bling

fuzzy slippers

pink, white, and black are essentials

cheetah prints. purses, coats, tops anything! o feel like cheetah print is pretty neutral so it’s easy to pair

hoop earrings and blingy pendants. snowflakes are perfect for this season but anything icy but dainty is perfect. it’s something about snow and bling that goes perfectly together.

anything that gives bougie and expensive honestly!

beauty

long fluffy eyelashes. the wispy style is my fav but i feel like they aren’t extra enough for the winter. fluffy lashes covered in snow are so cute!

pink and brown creamy opaque glosses

pressed powder to wear for a matte, smooth makeup look.

new whipped body butters! butters help seal in moisture, hydrating the skin much better than thin lotions.

edp with warm notes of decadence. ex. burberry her elixir, armani my way intense, b&bw a thousand wishes, vs warm and cozy, ariana grande cloud, billie eilish, etc.

sweet scents that smell like cinnamon, chocolate, gingerbread, and cranberry.

26”+ sew ins and extensions for long bombshell hair. the winter is the best season for sew ins and i’m definitely getting mine!

thick facial moisturizer to protect your skin from the windy blistering cold.

whenever he’s not with you, which is like 1% of the time he mixtures that either upper moon, one or upper moon three watches over you

Once the child has been hatched, Muzan is Proud that the child looks like both of you

The clingy of this man has been times by 100

He just is over the moon knowing that you have his child

He’s always talking to the egg no matter the time

He’s gonna be carrying the egg in one of those, baby slinging things that moms wear

He’s absolutely blabbering to all of the upper moons about you and the egg

He makes sure that no harm comes to you and the egg or else a frosty hell is gonna be raised

As soon as the child hatched, he’s just all over the little one. It’s very similar to a grandmother with her first grandchild

He simply doesn’t know how to react but is overly cautious about you and the egg

He’s very similar to a mama bear

The nest is always full of soft, clean warm blankets. They’re warm like they just came out of the dryer

He actually wants to try sitting on the egg

He’s reading all of the parenting books and all of the books about Harpy’s

He awkwardly talks to the egg, because he doesn’t know that the child can hear him of not

Once the child has hatched, he is immediately all over them and baby talking them, telling them that they’re gonna be the strongest

this did not go the way i meant to, also I do have a fill that i posted about Cat meeting Alec in Elysium's tears

so i wrote Ragnor meeting bby!Alec in the sentient shadow Trueblood heir verse.

i hope you enjoy and thank you for the compliment and prompt!

“Commander Lightwood.” Ragnor says, voice dripping with disdain and displeasure at the official request — order — from the clave summoning him to New York.

He hasn’t even told Magnus or Catarina that he’s on the same continent as them yet, knowing that they’ll try to insert themselves as backup.

Which he may still need, but he won’t risk bringing them in until he knows what’s going on.

“Trueblood.” Maryse Lightwood tells him, the corners of her eyes tight and her lips pursed, as if to hold back a grimace.

Which, for her, is almost polite.

“Excuse me?” Ragnor asks, confused, and he watches as she closes her eyes for a fraction of a second and takes a barely visible breath.

“It’s Commander Trueblood, I am no longer associated with the Lightwoods.”

Which is lovely and all, but it’s never been her last name that’s defined her to the downworld, it’s been her actions. Divorce is rare, however, among shadowhunters, even ones married for politics reasons and Ragnor wonders just what he’s being dragged into.

“Commander Trueblood then,” Ragnor says, and she nods in acceptance and hesitates, before she turns her back on him and motions for him to follow.

“I need wards apart from the Institute’s for my heir’s rooms.” She tells him and there is something tight and dangerous in her voice. Ragnor wonders at just what has happened, for the her child to be her heir now instead of Lightwood’s.

“Is there something wrong with the Institute wards?” He asks, voice frosty because while their connection isn’t known, Magnus is the one who did these wards and Ragnor can tell that they are impeccable.

“No, it’s not that.” She pauses at a door and then with a glower at him — as if he’d try anything in an Institute filled with hunters — unbuckles her weapons and lets them drop to the floor, and then she takes off her shoes. “Alec is…” and she trails off, something almost vulnerable in her gaze and if it wouldn’t possibly get him stabbed, Ragnor would push.

Because what on earth makes a woman like Maryse Trueblood so hesitant that she’ll disarm herself in front of a warlock and even turn her back to one.

“My son didn’t inherit the Lightwood gifts.” Maryse says and Ragnor knows immediately why he’s been called. Ragnor is one of the only warlocks still alive who knows as much about nephilim as he does and he’s the only one the clave can’t risk killing for that very reason. When they need the services of a warlock for something this important, they rely on him and only him.

“Then your own family powers, are they stronger or weaker than yours? Or mutated from the joining of bloodlines?”

Maryse shudders and stops at another door and then turns and her eyes are dark and serious and grave.

“There have been no Trueblood’s who have awakened our gift for over three generations. Alec is the first to be so blessed.” There’s pain in her voice and a twist to her lips, as if she’s trying to convince herself that it’s a blessing, rather than Ragnor.

“Baby,” she calls as she carefully opens the door and the pet’s name surprises Ragnor almost more than the gentle, coaxing tone of her voice. “I asked Potions Master Fell to come.”

Which is a fancy way of saying, she got the clave to do her dirty work for her and they demanded his presence, but then Ragnor steps in after her and understands why he was needed.

The boy is young and he’s floating above his bed, lying on a puddle of shadows that writhe the moment they sense intruders. A blank gaze greets them and instead of focusing on Ragnor, he focus’s on his mother.

Between an unknown and powerful warlock and his mother, Alec Trueblood is more wary of his mother.

He considers her the bigger threat.

“Mother.” The boy says, voice still in the soft, high stage of a truly young child but his tone is cold and hard, there is no feeling in his words.

“I—” and Maryse takes a shuddering breathe, “he’s going to help you, okay Alec? Whatever you need you ask him, I’ll pay for it, okay? You don’t need to clear it with me first, or even tell me everything, okay baby?”

Ragnor is shocked when she then leaves, backing out of the room and he realizes that taking off her weapons, her shoes, not turning her back… she’s trying not to engage her son.

Maryse is terrified and Ragnor isn’t sure if it’s because she thinks her own heir will kill her, or if it’s something else.

She leaves and her son watches her and as the door clicks shut behind her, he moves.

The shadows take him to the door and Ragnor watches as small hands press against the door and the shadows seal it shut, making sure that it can’t be opened physically though Ragnor could always use magic.

Then he turns to Ragnor and with a small, solemn voice says, “we don’t trust her yet. So, she can’t stay but we don’t mind you.” He steps closer and, as if it’s a secret says, “if you don’t hit us, you can stay.”

Ragnor feels his heart crack, a little piece of it breaking for this tiny child who looks as battle worn as a veteran hunter.

“I won’t hit you, laddie.” Ragnor promises and then he squats, trying to get on eye level. “But I’m afraid my old age is a bit much for these bones of mine. May I sit?”

A chair is dragged over, scraping across the floor as shadows bring it to Ragnor and then Alec nods, hesitant and almost shy.

Ragnor sits, pretending he’s out of breath as he collapses into the chair with a gusty sigh.

“Ah, laddie. Portals are the works of geniuses but can be a bit draining. Now then, why don’t you tell me what it is I’m supposed to be helping you with?”

Alec walks closer and then plops down. For a second, Ragnor expects him to break a bone with the force that he lets himself drop with, except the shadows catch him, holding him up and steady and the lad just smiles, a tiny quirk of his lips.

“I don’t like it when it goes all dark, it’s not as… nice.” He tells Ragnor, his manner of speaking careful and wary, like he doesn’t think he’s allowed to make mistakes. “We want light, so we can travel and not a witchlight.” The lad scowls, “they’re stupid. They turn off when no one touches them and then the shadows get hungry.”

Ragnor swallows, understanding better than the lad himself what it means that his shadows seek light to eat.

“I can certainly figure something out. What else?”

“I don’t want mother coming in my room without permission, even when I’m not there. Or anyone.” Alec is gripping his small, no doubt custom made breeches, already being dressed in hunting gear. “This needs to be our space. Where we’re safe, where other people can’t hurt us.”

It pants a sad, hateful image of just what happened for Maryse to change so much and Ragnor has to ask despite the danger it might put him in, “laddie, are you with the parents you want to be with?”

Dark eyes meet his gaze and there’s something vicious that flashes through, like a glint of green when the sunlight breaks through the branches of a thick forest.

“Mother was the least unworthy.” Alec tells him quietly and then, ducking his head, he shrugs, and his voice is pleased as he whispers. “She’s trying, more than she did before and she tells me she loves me now.” Ragnor feels like another part of his carefully protected heart will crack and then the lad grins, a vicious slip of a smile. “And mother knows best, what will happen if she hurts me again.”

Ragnor swallows down his sympathy and his concern and he smiles, because that’s all he can do, that and help the boy ward his room from high heaven, down to the lowest level of hell.

“Well, since I’m here—” Ragnor sends a playful wink that turns the little lad’s face into one of surprise, “since no one can enter without permission, do you want to redecorate?”

There’s awe on the lad’s face and the shadows drop him to his feet and he lands, like a graceful and nimble kitten before he stalks over to Ragnor. His fluffy curls are extremely tempting and Ragnor risks his fingers, reaching out to pat the lad’s head.

The gift he’s given — a delighted, grateful little grin and shadows parting for his touch — is perhaps the most valuable thing he’s ever been gifted by a nephilim.

“Really?” He’s asked and for the first time, Alec sounds nearly his age and Ragnor lets out a deep chuckle and lets his magic swirl around the room. The shadows wriggle as if delighted but they don’t attack his magic, only the light that comes from its glow and Ragnor settles, more confident in his welcome than ever before.

“Really, laddie. Now, I think you need something far softer than wood. Have you ever felt a carpet made from the fur of a fire-elk?”

Loki Westview AU

(Because platonic lokius could’ve done it so much better than romantic wandavision and you can fight me on that)

- Instead of an android/human couple living an idealistic married life in the suburbs, it’s a an alien/human buddy cop duo basically living out a vintage murder mystery in various locations.

-When I say various locations I mean that as in, like… instead of Westview being one suburban neighbourhood it changes into different neighbourhoods every episode. Just to make it more trippy. But it’s still called WV.

-The plot is that people have been dying around the town, and the local PD (including detectives Mobius & Loki, and their colleagues B-15 & Casey) are trying to solve the case and figure out what’s going on.

-Their main suspect is Sylvie, a suspicious drifter that no one in the town seems to know anything about.

-It’s slowly revealed that B-15 and Casey’s minds are being tampered with (and at this point, they’re assuming Loki’s and Möbius’s are too), along with everyone else in the town & they realise that Sylvie has supernatural powers (she kinda sorta fills Agatha’s role).

-They set out to try to track her down and apprehend her, but every time they get close, reality bends/they lose their train of thought/the evidence goes missing/she disappears/etc.

-The big reveal is that Loki was the one that was enchanting them, and Sylvie was just acting as the bouncer. The people coming up dead were actually TVA agents that had found them and wanted to take them back.

-Loki, Mobius, & Sylvie had figured out the whole “the TVA is controlling you” thing in one episode and had decided to hide out in a little pocket of the timeline- that Loki kept casting illusions over & shifting and blending with other timelines (changing locals) so that they wouldn’t be found (yes, he can do that. In this au he’s as powerful as he rightfully should be.)

-They weren’t able to/didn’t have time to convince B-15 and Casey of this so they just brainwashed them and dragged them along.

-A twist is that Möbius’s mind was never altered, he knew what was happening the whole time and was just playing along and helping cover up for Loki.

-The first episode is basically the same as the one in the Loki series- starting with him getting arrested and introducing the TVA and worldbuilding, etc. Except Sylvie basically makes her episode 2 appearance at the end of episode 1.

-The next 5 episodes are the decade episodes.

-Episode 7 is a mix of flashbacks (revealing to the viewer what’s been going on all along), attempts to convince B-15 and Casey to trust them again, and foreshadowing that the TVA is closing in on them.

-Episodes 8 and 9 are the big showdown ones. There’s a badass scene where the Superhero Group We Deserved But Didn’t Get (Mobius, Loki, Sylvie, B-15, and Casey) fights the assembled TVA agents in Westview. The end up in multiple different places all across the multiverse (Lamentis??).

-This ends with them being separated. Sylvie and Casey end up being taken in by the TVA, Mobius and B-15 end up stuck in the WV illusion, and Loki ends up in The Void.

-Kang and the other Loki variants and several other plot points either don’t exist in this au or will just have to wait until season 2, up to you.

-There’s no need for Jimmy or Monica in this au because Loki fully knows what he’s doing, while no one on earth (aside from his posse) notices.

-In this au Sylvie is a likeable person who isn’t forced to be Loki’s romantic interest, shows actual remorse over killing TVA agents, and has a believable build up.

-Loki gets to be the extremely morally ambiguous cunning and manipulative badass we know he can be.

-Imagine the main 5 in six decades worth of detective outfits omg.

-This is purely a suggestion but the Westview locals should be: a small suburban town in the 50s, a hippie trailer park in the 60s, a big city in the 70s, a creepy middle of nowhere ranch community in the 80s, a Miami-like city in the 90s, and a boardwalk town in the 00s.

-All of this is tinged with the looming question of what exactly they’re buying time for- they don’t know how to defeat the TVA for good, they don’t know how to free all the agents at once, they don’t know how to escape them permanently, etc. The entire show is just our main crew existing in a panicked limbo.

-Some episodes are super comical, some episodes lean heavily into the murder mystery theme, some episodes are downright foreboding and eerie, some of them of action packed, some of them are really emotional.

-The main theme running through all of it is trust. Loki and Mobius trusting each other completely after not knowing each other very long at all. The two of them grappling with trusting Sylvie when she still seems shady even to them. B-15 and Casey struggling to trust Loki and Mobius all throughout the story. Just trust issues all around.

-We don’t have to endure all the brown of the TVA for as long as we did in the series.

Christmas w/ Yandere Steve Rogers (platonic)

It would be extremely important to Steve to make Christmas as special as possible for his obsession. Especially if it’s their first Christmas with him. This man will decorate to the nines, even going as far as to work through the night to get everything up and working. He would even enlist the help of the other Avengers to make sure everything gets done. (Just imagine waking up during the night and looking out your window to the Avengers arguing about how the Christmas lights should look on the roof. Or how the inflatable Frosty the Snowman would look better on the left side of the house rather than the right side.)

Steve would take his darling out to the wilderness to pick out a Christmas tree, chop it down himself and pack it up to take home. There’s a good guarantee Bucky, Nat, or Sam would be there too. Hell, all of them might be there. It wouldn’t come as much of a surprise if they all argued about which tree would be the best but no matter what you get the last word.

Decorating the tree is one of Steve’s favorite things. It’ll probably just be the two of you decorating but Steve wouldn’t want it any other way. The house will be filled with Christmas music while the two of you decorate. Dancing and signing around the Christmas tree would be inevitable. Steve will leave it to you to put the star or angel or whatever you’ve picked as a tree topper on the tree. He would even lift you up to do so if you can’t reach.

Steve wouldn’t have much of a problem with his obsession spending some time with their real family during Christmas. Whether it’s Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, Steve wouldn’t mind it too much so long as you still spend time with him and don’t completely forget about him. Given how Steve is it wouldn’t be much of a surprise if your family also invited Steve to Christmas with them too. That way he still gets to spend time with you but he prefers it when it’s just you and him.

He wouldn’t go all out on gifts but he will get you something he thinks you would really like and that he’s put a lot of thought into. Being from the 40’s Steve didn’t have the luxury of having a lot but that doesn’t stop him from giving his darling what he believes they deserve and they deserve the world. But holidays are for the more important things besides gifts and that’s what he wants to focus more on.

Steve doesn’t really expect to get a Christmas gift from you but he’s so happy if you do give him one. Even if it’s a tie or a pair of funky socks, Steve will wear them with pride and cherish them. He may get a little jealous if you get the other Avengers Christmas gifts but it won’t be too bad. That is unless you give the same gift or even a similar gift to someone else. That may cause a little bit of petty beef between him and that person but whatever.

It doesn’t matter how old you are, you and Steve will leave milk and cookies out for Santa. Steve will wholeheartedly pretend Santa visited; sneaking out during the night to leave a half eaten cookie and an empty glass of used to be milk. It’s just something he’s always wanted to do for his kids and since he’s got you he’ll continue to do it no matter what age you are. You can also bet he’ll have Uncle Bucky dressing up as Santa too.

There’s no doubt that Steve and his obsession will be in attendance at one of Tony’s Christmas parties. Whether forced or not. Steve won’t have too much of a problem with it until he catches sight of a mistletoe. You can bet after that he’s keeping you as close to him as possible. No one’s catching his obsession under the mistletoe, not on his watch. Hopefully the ugly sweaters he conned you into wearing with him will keep any would-be-kissers away.

You can bet on actual Christmas Day, Steve will have you wearing matching pajamas with him. And Christmas cards will be sent out to everyone with pictures of you two in said matching pajamas. There’s a good chance that Bucky, Nat and Sam will be there too, also probably wearing matching pajamas. The rest of the Avengers may even weasel their ways into sabotaging Steve’s time with you taking whatever attention they can get. Either way the whole day would be dedicated to Christmas movies, warm drinks and family. Even if somethings didn’t quite play out how he wanted at least Steve had you and that’s all he could ever ask for. Maybe one day it could be you, him and Peggy all celebrating Christmas together but right now he was more than content where he was.
