What is up with the amount of people constantly repeating “Jason was the first son” and Dick was a sibling/ partner. Dick was taken in at 8 while Bruce was in his 20s. That’s not an equal that’s a child. Dick might not have seen him as a dad at first, from his POV the relationship might have been more dynamic but from Bruce’s POV that was always his son.
yes Bruce did the same things for Jason that he did with Dick, he took him out on a fishing trip, he made sure his home work was done, he parented him. What is the need to throw Dick and Bruce’s relationship under the bus to make room for Jason being the first son. It’s simply not true.

Do I take fic recs? The answer to all of these things is, emphatically, yes.

Tim peaks over the door of the fridge. “Oh? Is this you telling me something?”

I'm not sure if you're new to the DC fandom or not, but I'd definitely recommend reading the comics Death in the Family, Under the Red Hood, and Red Hood: Lost Days before jumping into fics; they really lay the groundwork for the character. Or go ham reading whatever you like!
