HI HELLO SMALL RANT BUT LIKE-
so fucking desperate for a fic where Lloyd gets shoved back in time and meets little Morro and at first he's wary abd cold bc this is gonna be the person who hurt him but the longer he's around Morro he realizes the parallels between him and Lloyd (Morro wanted to be the hero, but when destiny said no he spiraled and tried to force it but ended up dying and becoming bitter and cruel <- | -> Lloyd wanting to be the villain to be close to his father but destiny chose otherwise and he ended up being the hero but traumatized) and he comes to the realization that Morro never really wanted to be evil but he was so incredibly twisted and broken that he decided he couldn't be anything but the villain and Lloyd is like 'shit' because while Morro hurt him and it's pretty much unforgivable, he also was hurt so badly that he felt like he couldn't be redeemed and accepted his role as the villain
and when Lloyd comes back he hugs Morro and says he can try to forgive him bc Morro deserved better, Morro is just so bewildered bc 'what the fuck is he doing I'm a monster and I hurt him' and Lloyd says it's ok and Morro just fucking shatters because it's been. so long. since he's heard someone talking to him with kindness and he's just so tired of hurting, both himself and others, and he never wanted to be this way
and it takes a while but Lloyd and the ninja eventually warm up to him and they realize that he doesn't know/understand half of what basic human kindness is and Morro is genuinely confused when Lloyd asks if he's alright bc he noticed he hasn't been sleeping and the Ninja are just like "holy shit is he ok" bc Lloyd may have just been a kid when he was forced to become this powerful warrior, but Morro was just a kid when he died too
thank you for listening to my rant I am very much so a fan of the "villains are made, not born" trope
and maybe Morro meets little Lloyd and feels so fucking bad for the kid because he was just a child what the fuck

Warnings: non/dubcon, pregnancy, pegging, Lloyd being the worst, post partum, csection, suicidial ideation, Andy is nasty in this, and other dark elements. Not all kinks or triggers are tagged. My username actually says you never asked for any of this.
My warnings are not exhaustive but be aware this is a dark fic and may include potentially triggering topics. Please use your common sense when consuming content. I am not responsible for your decisions.
As usual, I would appreciate any and all feedback. I’m happy to once more go on this adventure with all of you! Thank you in advance for your comments and for reblogging.
Tumblr media
You’re exhausted. Peaks of adrenaline dip down to plummeting valleys. If it were just you, it’d be okay. You’d let it all just happen. You’ve been trapped before, but Luna, she doesn’t deserve that. You could never save yourself, but you can save her.
You grip your hip as you stand by the crib, watching her sleep. At last. It’s only because her little body couldn’t writhe or cry anymore that she slumbers. All her energy is spent and yours is much the same.
You hear footsteps on the stairs. You tense and face the door as it opens. Andy enters and you put a finger to your lips. He carefully eases the door into the frame and gives a guilty smile. It’s strange how he can act like this is all perfectly normal. To him, you guess, it is.
“Hey, honey,” he whispers, “how is she?”
“Sleeping,” you mouth as you keep your vigil at cribside.
He comes close and you stand straight, staying between him and your child. His eyes rove down your body as he nears. He reaches to fondle your tits as he approaches and you hold back a hiss. You’re raw and worn out from him. Reviled by his touch.
“Well, it’s mommy time,” he winks. You give him a look, wary but curious.
He lets his hands wander down your stomach and he takes your hand. He moves slowly and softly through the space. It’s terrifying how the noise dampens in this place. The walls are no doubt padded to keep it all inside.
He takes you towards the bathroom nestled behind the kitchen. He nudges you in ahead of him. As he goes to close the door, you reach to catch it. He turns with an arched brow.
“So I can hear her,” you explain.
“More likely to wake her up. Let her sleep,” he tugs on the door but you don’t budge.
“Just in case,” you plea and step closer, “you want…” you swallow as you repress a shudder, “our daughter to be safe, right?”
He sighs, his hand sliding down the door and away. His eyes meet yours, foggy and blue as he tilts his head.
“I want mommy to give daddy some of her love,” he grits out.
“Alright,” you coax and reach to touch his arm, caressing his sleeve, “I can do that, Andy, that’s okay.”
“I know it’s okay. It’s the least I deserve, isn’t it?”
You swallow. You could’ve never imagined him like this. Not your friendly neighbour on his bouncing jogs. His gleaming eyes are dulled and he’s a shell of the suburban saviour you knew. He never was that, you should’ve known better.
“Of course, of course,” you step closer and bring your hand up his shoulder, tamping down every ounce of disgust, “you’ve made such a nice home for us. I see that, Andy, and I’m so thankful for it.”
You rub his chest with both hands and feel him relax. He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. He trails his fingers up your arms and covers your hands with his. He quivers out a brittle exhale as his eyes flash open.
“Honey,” he purrs and brings your hands up to his face, guiding you to touch his beard as he nuzzles like a needy dog, “call me ‘honey’, baby.”
“Honey,” you utter as you succumb to him.
He hums and leans forward, placing a gentle kiss on your forehead. You stand locked like that as he lets your hands fall away. He touches your jaw, then your neck, then squeezes your tender chest. You whimper as you feel a meagre trickle slip free.
“Get clean up,” he rasps, his body rigid and trembling, “I’ll be waiting.”
He releases you, backing up as you stare stunned and confused. He turns and stalks out, his imposing figure burned into your vision. You hold your breath and listen. Soft steps pacing but no other disturbance. You don’t matter, it’s Luna. She’s sleeping, she needs her sleep.
You peer around and stop to stare at the tub. You can’t have the door wide open or the noise will wake your daughter. You shut it but leave a crack between the frame. You twist the faucet on and undress.
You move mechanically. You don’t feel. Don’t ever do that.
You ease into the water. The warmth would be immaculate in another world. You look down at your chapped nipples as the hot water stings them. You push your head back and reach for the soap.
You wash quickly, not letting the tub fill all the way as you do. You move around, trying not to slosh or splash too much. The scent of the soap is familiar but less than comforting. The same you use at home. You noticed he even had the sensitive brand you get for Luna’s dainty skin.
You get out as the tub drains and pat yourself dry with the towel. You’re not stupid. You know what’s going on. What he expects. Still, as you come out wrapped in cotton, you’re shocked to find Andy naked and waiting.
He sprawls on the bed, heels by the corners of the mattress, as his hand bobs up and down his length. He’s hard, twitching with each stroke as he lets out deep growls. You look from him to the crib, mortified.
You pull the curtain around the little nursery to block it out. It’s not ideal but it’ll have to do. Andy’s timbre rumbles in his chest.
“I’ve been waiting,” he warns.
You close your eyes and wet your lips as you steady yourself. You nod and let go of the towel. You refuse to look down at your body. Maybe he’ll see the truth and he won’t want you. The stretch marks, the dough, the distortion of flesh.
He hums and you slowly turn, shuffling your feet under you. You face him and can’t help but cross your arm over your stomach, the other over your pendulous chest. You hear the breath escape him sharply. You wince as he props himself up on his elbows, letting his dick flop up against his stomach.
Right, now he sees you completely. The only other person to witness the ruin. His eyes stick to you as you stare at the wall.
“Come here,” he breathes.
You cross to the bed, staring blindly past it. As you near, he reaches for your hand and guides you down beside him. He rolls onto his side, an arm hook under you as his fingers crawl up and down your figure. He pulls your arm from across your belly as you try to hide.
“Andy… honey, please, can I put a shirt on–”
“Why?” He asks as question he wants no answer to.
He urges you onto your back and gropes your chest rough. Once more he bends to suckle and teeth at you. You whine as the plucking and tugging needles deep into your chest. His hand grazes along your stomach, underlining each rippled line across your skin, creeping down to dip between your legs.
He pokes at your thighs until they fall apart. You force yourself to go limp. Just let him do what he wants. It’s just a body, a body that’s been used before.
He plays with you, flicking impatiently at your clit as he continues to nuzzle and nibble your tits. The blank ceiling fills your sight. You try not to be there. You force away any thought that tries to break through.
He lifts himself over you, the bed shifting with his weight, and he pushes your legs wide with his knees. He rubs his tip against your cunt. Your clench but relax. No, no, he won’t take long. You can do this. You have to do this.
He angles himself down and prods at your entrance. He enters you in a single thrust. You swallow a shriek. You’re dry. Your body won’t listen to your head. He bends over you, planting an elbow to hover above. He hooks his arm under your neck and tilts his hips.
“I missed you,” he grunts as he rocks against your resistance.
Your eyes burn as tears threaten to break through. Don’t do that. You puff out your lips, trying to ignore the dry agony of his thrusts.
“Missed you too,” you eke out, bracing his bicep as he keeps an even rhythm.
“Mmm,” he purrs and bows to kiss you.
His tongue invades your mouth as he almost gags you. His spit smears around your mouth as he devours you sloppily, moaning and groaning as the bed rocks with him. You feel his muscle bulge and picks up his pace.
You let out tiny noises, nothing sultry, as he drags his mouth from yours. He buries his head next to yours, puffing into the pillow as he gives in to his rising need. He ruts into you, your walls on fire as his pelvis cracks into yours. You can’t help but get louder as the pain grows unbearable.
Your whines turn shrill but you don’t feel yourself screaming. You touch your throat but it’s not you bawling. Luna! She’s awake. She’s crying. She needs you.
You push on Andy’s chest, “please, she’s awake–”
“Almost done,” he sneers into the crook of your neck, his back hunched as he hammers into you.
“Get– Andy, she needs me–”
“I need you,” he snaps and bites down on the muscle beside your neck.
You cry out as he pinches your flesh between his teeth, pounding harder and harder as he chases his release. You stretch your arm across the bed, searching for any escape. Luna’s wailing grows louder and louder, making you dizzy as flesh slaps in echoes around the room.
“Andy, stop! Get off of me!”
He brings his hand up to your neck and squeezes until your voice catches and your breath whistles tightly. He chokes your protests quiet and fucks you into the mattress, crushing you beneath him as he quakes and roars, adding to the tempest of noise around you.
“Fuck, fuck, fuck,” he gasps and you feel him cum inside you, a scalding flood that sickens you.
He slows, collapsing as he’s paralysed in his afterglow. You’re trapped under him, lip trembling as you’re strangled by the desperate cries of your daughter. Get off, get off, get off.
He slips out, a slimy flow gushing out of you, and he pushes himself to flop onto his back. He gulps and heaves, droning as he tickles his own stomach and hums. Your vision speckles as you gulp down air, blinking through your dizziness. Luna shrieks as you cough and touch your throbbing throat.
“Shut her up,” Andy raps his knuckles against your hip as you sit up, “fuck.”

Congratulations
Our Story Masterlist Summary: Harry and YN share their news with close friends.
Niall:
YN: PHOTO Hello Uncle Niall🤍
YN sent Niall the text and waited because she knew once he had read it, she was going to receive a call.
And within a few minutes, YN’s phone began to ring with Niall’s name displayed. YN was quick to answer the FaceTime, eager to see his reaction.
“Hi Niall!”. YN and Harry answered together, a big grin on their face.
“Are you two having me on?” Niall got straight to the point.
“No…we’re having a baby!” YN explained.
“I can’t believe this…I think I’m gonna cry!” Niall had been there from the beginning of their relationship, so to see his two best friends happy and expecting a little one was emotional. “Congratulations guys…I’m so happy for you.”.
“Thanks Ni…well get ready for Uncle duties!”.
“I can’t wait!”. Niall couldn’t hide his excitement. “I’m gonna be their favourite uncle”.
“I think you’re going to have to fight for that spot with Louis!” Harry joked.
“Tell him to give up now!” Niall teased.

Harry had sent his manager and friend a photo of the scan and purposely not saying anything more. So when Harry’s phone rang, he wasn’t shocked.
“Harry!” Jeff didn’t allow Harry to answer. “What’s going on?”.
“I don’t know what you mean Jeffery.” Harry played dumb, a smirk covering his face.
“You can’t just send me a baby scan and say nothing else.”
Harry laughed but decided to put Jeff to ease. “YN’s pregnant!”.
“Fuck off!”.
“I’m serious…she’s like fifteen weeks now.” Harry explained.
“FIFTEEN WEEKS!” Jeff had a similar reaction to others when the couple announced how far along YN was.
“We only found out this week.” Harry defended himself.
“Well all I can say is…Congratulations H, you really deserve this and I’m behind you and YN every step of the way!”.
“Thanks Uncle Jeff.” Harry teased.

no. no.
there's thick tears falling, sliding down his cheeks and falling onto your bloodied gi, the material torn, caked with dust and shards of glass dug into the grey material. it wasn't as grey as before, as grey as it was that morning when you were preparing with him.
alive.
the green ninja clung onto your dying body, his leg under both of yours while the other he sat on. his arms tight around your aching form, keeping his love, his life close to him. he felt your pulse fading, the warmth of his sun on his cold days leaving him alone. it was slow, much slower than when he first gathered you in his arms.
"please.. please stay with– me," he cried, sobs wrecking through the rubble and aftermath from garmadon's latest attempt at overthrowing ninjago. he sniffled hard before he pulled away just enough for you to see him through the confines of his dark and green coloured mask. a cough wreaks through your body, causing you to jolt and choke on blood seeping from your lungs, the ninja is quick to ground you when life tries to slip from your grasp. "uh- hey, hey, you're fine.. you're good, i'm— i'm he- here." the green ninja looks miserable even behind that mask.
"my mask–" you tried to sound out, you felt parched and weak, grateful he managed to figure it out quick enough to pull your mask away as gently as he could. a small, pained smile was all you could manage in the midst of recovering from that bloody cough. the boy wiped the tears from your eyes with his thumb, while his own clouded his eyes. "ma and pops must be cryin', yk..?" you pondered, eyes focused on him solely.
you raised a sore hand to his cheek, thumb sliding just under his mask. "o..kay?" you mumbled softly, waiting for his reply with eyes battling to stay open. "yes." he closed his own for a moment, his answer quick and free of any hesitancy. the material of the gi's mask felt nice against your hand, sliding off gently with his help and letting it fall behind him with a soft thud.
you hold his cheek, thanking lloyd mentally for holding it up for you. it hurt. it hurt so much seeing him so wrecked over you.
he deserved so much better, someone that would stay with him, that would treat him better than you are right now. you didn't want to go out without him, you never wanted to.
"lloyd," you called to him, the boy looking at you with tired, red eyes. "sorry baby."
"i forgive you. i will always forgive you," he says through deep breaths, gasping from holding it unconsciously. you smile fondly at that, his willingness to do anything for you. your heart twisted uncomfortably in your chest.
"love– love you, lloyd," you say, each word leaving you slowly and with a soft voice. your hand dropped slightly, but he tightened his grip on it. "i love you so much." your thumb rubs his cheek slowly. "i love– you too, [name]," he manages to get it out, through his tears.
this was hard to stay awake, alive. your heartbeat was too slow and your vision zoned and blacked out more than once. you both knew it was time for you to go, it was time you rest. "m– may i steal your breath away.. one more last time, love?" he half laughs while you processed it slowly. "you do, baby. all the time," you laugh softly before trying hard to focus on him one last time. he smiles, seeing you're still joking around while on your deathbed.
he lays your hand down on your chest, taking his and rubbing the blood from your lips. he smiles one last time. lloyd leans down, holding your cheek tenderly before whispering promises of meeting you again one day against your lips. you smile, your hand holding weakly at his gi while savouring the moments of your life with him.
it was warm, overwhelming almost when he finally kissed you. a gentle warmth signature to him, almost like an open oven after baking. fuck, you'll miss that. you'll miss the messes of flour and smelling of sugar while he kissed with frosting on his lips. like it was now, had he always been so sweet?
you closed your eyes, losing consciousness and feeling. his warmth was faint, until it was nothing.
lloyd buried his head in your shoulder the second your weight laid a little heavier against his arm and your hand dropped from holding his gi. he cried, harder. harder than before, arms squeezing your body.
it didn't matter that there people were watching, it didn't matter that garmadon and his army was still here and watching. it didn't matter that the other ninja were watching, it didn't matter whether his mother was watching nor yours front row at seeing their kid die in the arms of ninjago's most hated.
reality settled in, he didn't want it to.
"lloyd," kai's voice tugs him back from the unforgiving confines his mind. the red ninja's mask long gone, he had his own tears welling in his eyes with small, faint streaks on his cheeks. he pulled lloyd and your body into a tight embrace, his head on lloyd's as he quietly pats his hair, humming lowly. he knew the kid needed someone to ground him and kai wad going to play his role as lloyd's 'older brother', even if it meant he had to mourn his kid sibling's death later.
with soft sniffles and a spaced out face, lloyd notices everyone for the first time while in kai's embrace.
jay held nya while sunk down against his mech, she was still processing the fact you had died, though she had her arms around his waist. whereas jay held onto her as tight as he could with sobs lightly muffled by his mask and her hair. cole sat against kai's mech with his knees up, burying his face in his arms wrapped around them. he occasionally shook from his own tears, he was trying to cope with the loss of his kid 'sibling'. it felt strange seeing him cry. zane sat in his mech, in awe. his face looked genuinely shocked, trying to compute the lost of a friend but he was still affected by it all. hands fiddled lightly with the controls of his mech.
sensei wu stood somewhere in the distance, amongst the people crowded on the less debris covered land. lloyd couldn't figure out what the man felt, from the obscuring of his hat.
but the most interesting was the look on garmadon's face, he wanted to laugh. he knew the rest of his army (and even the citizens of ninjago) were tense from the sudden reveal of their ninja's identity and the fact they actually killed someone. let alone a ninja. but garmadon looked almost horrified at his son.
his son.. he killed his son's lover. it was a surprise his enemy was luh-loyd and from the other of those rainbow coloured ninjas, the boy happened to be dating one of them, the one he actually killed. he felt somewhat guilty of what he did.
lloyd looked away, closing his eyes and laying his head back into kai's chest. "i fucking hate him," the boy mumbled out into his brother's gi. "me too, kid."
he wished it was him instead, because he always wanted the best for you. you deserved it. you deserved more that him, a crappy teenager, garmadon's shitty son. not a strong leader nor a good kid.
he just wished he could be with you again.

Comforting Embrace - Lloyd
Tumblr media
A/N: Hi! So sorry it took so long to get this finished. I hope it turned out alright! Thank you for requesting <3 @soundsfunbutno
You and Lloyd had been together for well over a year now, and the both of you have learned how to read each other. Especially when it comes to PDA and comfort. You knew that Lloyd had no problem asking you to hold his hand in public, or to give him a hug when he needs it. Just as you knew what Lloyd could and couldn’t ask for, he knew everything about you. He knew how touch starved you were, and as a result, you had trouble asking him for things such as a hug or to hold your hand.
After a few months into your relationship with the green ninja he learned that the two of you worked a lot better when he asked if he could hold you. He’d ask if he could hold your hand when he’d notice you were getting nervous, or he’d ask if he could cuddle you while you watch a movie with him. You praised the first spinjitzu master that you had finally found someone who understood you and your ‘dilemma’.
Lloyd was used to being the one to initiate or suggest physical contact, so when he received a text from you one night asking if he’d come to your room and give you a hug, he stood and stared at his phone.
Them <3: Can you come to my room please? I could really use a hug right now.
Once Lloyd actually comprehends what you had sent him, he high-tailed it to your bedroom, knocking on the door gently before walking in. He was met with the sight of you laying in bed buried under all of your blankets. He frowned slightly and walked over to your bedside.
“Hey, I got your text,” he said softly. “What’s wrong?” Then he noticed the tears that made their way down your rosy cheeks. The green ninja made his way into your bed beside you and wrapped his arms around you, pulling you close to his chest. “It’s ok. I’m here now.” You wrapped your arms around your boyfriend, burying your face in his chest for a moment before speaking.
“I’m sorry,” you muttered, wiping your tears as you pulled away from him. “I’m on my period and just don’t feel well. I needed a hug,” you explained. Your e/c eyes met his green ones. “Thanks for coming, though.”
Lloyd smiled softly. “Don’t be sorry! You know I’m always here for you, and always ready to give you all the hugs and comfort you deserve.” The ninja leaned over and pressed a kiss to your forehead. “And I’m so incredibly proud of you!” You gave the boy a confused look and he chuckled.
“Why?”
“Because!” He smiled widely. “You finally asked me to hug you!” His words made you blush with embarrassment. It was true, you’d admit that you struggled with asking for help. While you looked away with shame Lloyd gently grabbed your chin and turned your head towards him. “I love you Y/N,” he said, kissing you again. “And I’m proud of you.”
You finally got over your shame and smiled softly. “I love you too, Lloyd, and thank you.” Lloyd went to get out of bed but you grabbed his wrist, giving the widest puppy dog stare you could. “Stay and cuddle, please?”
Needless to say, Lloyd couldn’t resist and spent the rest of night spoiling you. He kissed you every minute and repeated how much he loved you. You couldn’t ask for a better boyfriend!

I don't think I've ever brought up Morro and Lloyd's bond which is actually really funny because if this was 2020, I'd write a whole paragraph about them. I still will anyways. (In the situation that if Morro were to ever return back to the living)
At first, they both avoided each other as if they were going to contract the plague. It became more of a competition eventually: Who will leave the room the fastest when the other walks in? Who's going to make up the best excuse? Lloyd doesn't want to talk to the guy that possessed him, threw him into the water, put him through the worst month ever. Morro doesn't want to talk to the guy that took his ambition, that he believed doesn't even deserve that title, that he died for nothing, and he doesn't even understand. Why should he?
It was easy during the first few months, not acknowledging the other at all. But then avoidance became difficult, how could he ignore the guy he hates so much, if he knows they're both not going anywhere from the house (monastery)? Tell him to leave? Where else should he stay? And then guilt starts to gnaw, maybe there are unspoken things that they should speak of, maybe they were brought together for, not a chance of redemption- but understanding.
That's how Lloyd finds himself fidgeting with a cracked chunk of the Monastery's stairs- until it cracks, and it became a pebble, and he's sitting beside the guy he did not imagine ever able to. It's really awkward, they want to leave, never speak again, but they just can't. Neither of them knows why.
"It sucks." Lloyd says, he was so quiet.
"`What?" Morro responds, his voice sounds like a snake about to bite, always does.
"Being the Green Ninja. It's not- it's not as great as you imagined."
"Obviously," Lloyd almost winced at how Morro spat those words. "It's you, because it's you. You didn't train for it, your uncle just unrolled a scroll and shoved your face on it."
"..." He looked at Morro, his fists were clenched, his face seemed calm but they both knew he was trying to hold back a punch. Lloyd almost wondered if Morro could've thrown him off the stairs, if he could. But- "You're right."
"What?" Neither of them expected that. But Lloyd found himself a revelation. Morro stared, waiting for him to answer, Lloyd thinks, That's the first time he's ever looked at me.
"You're right, I don't deserve it," Lloyd shrugged carelessly. "I don't deserve it as much as you, Morro. You were promised a destiny and you tried to live up to that expectation, you were ready to face the world but-" It was pointless in the end. The sentence hung in the air unspoken.
Morro looked at him but said nothing, and for the first time, there was no spite in his eyes. Nothing, just a blank stare.
"I think... I think if you were the Green Ninja, things could have been better." Lloyd said, he looked beyond, his gaze wandered elsewhere, he seemed distant. "At least you wanted it, right? I didn't have a choice, I don't think I did. My uncle just unrolled a scroll and shoved my face on it. I just wanted to be a boy, I wanted to cause trouble, I wanted to steal candy. But he told me that when I grow up, I had to beat up a bad guy- my dad- I thought I had to kill him and I- I was a kid."
Morro spoke nothing still.
"I thought I had time to spare, I thought maybe I could still be a kid, I could live with training and annoying. But I grew up, I didn't ask for that either, I never got to be who I wanted, and I still don't know what I want. I wasn't ready, but you were. Even if you don't agree, Morro, but you know what you were going to be."
They were once young birds, pushed off the nest by the parent. One, prepared to soar its wings, far too excited to realize the ground was before its eyes, the other so terrified it was able to soar as it needed to.
"I hate you." Morro's words were a whisper, but they held no disdain at all.
"I know."
"I really, fucking hate you."
"I know."
Yet, there was a gentle breeze that drifted past them anyways. It was so gentle, it felt like the softest hug. They sat in silence, adrift, there was nothing left to say.
Morro was the first to stand from either of them, he left without a glance to spare, he left without a smile, or a word. The breeze trailed after him, whether he knew or not, he did not care.
But nonetheless, Lloyd remained unphased, neither of them looked back. He did not feel upset, nor did he feel happiness, he felt relief. He smiled.
He wondered, if in another place, another time, maybe the bird who yearned to fly took its wings, maybe it caught its unprepared companion, maybe they soared together, soared like freedom.

Fucked up actually how Garmadon is just. Never allowed to be happy and he knows it. He's a young kid who's going out of his way to protect his little brother and he gets so horrifically cursed and punished and doomed for it for the rest of his life, and he grows up knowing this will haunt and change him, that this will vilify him. There's all this talk of a 'balance' between good and evil and how both must exist, so does it drive Garmadon mad knowing that he is still technically playing a role in preserving the natural order of things, yet he will be despised and horrified by what he's done, grappling with the guilt in a best-case scenario, while others are celebrated because they're lucky enough to be chosen to fight for good instead?
He had to constantly fight the evil in his veins growing up, knowing it would eventually be over. But he still tried his best to do as much good as he possibly could, he tried not to hold it against Wu but at the same time... He took such an enormous bullet for his brother. Wu never asked him to do it, but Garmadon wasn't even allowed to agree to it either. I can see how easy it would've been to tell himself; Wu is going to grow old and loved and happy. I won't be. I deserve something for my sacrifice, for what I did for his sake.
What does he think, what right would we have to judge me, as if I haven't already lost it all for him, as if he doesn't have to contend with how he might act under the influence of the Great Devourer?! Garmadon actually gets this little bit of happiness with Misako, even a child... And fate plays the cruelest joke, practically punishing Garmadon for this, by making this child the very Green Ninja destined to defeat him; Why not someone else, like Morro dammit?! Even so, Garmadon does everything to NOT take out his frustration on Lloyd, despite knowing Lloyd is supposed to end any chance at happiness for Garmadon by ending his life.
The introduction of the Great Devourer's venom as a plot point is interesting, because it admittedly does absolve Garmadon of his wrongdoing (or make it very easy to) by re-contextualizing it all as something he's forced to commit, yet very much does try to fight against. Him continuing to love and care for Lloyd and look for loopholes out of fighting his son, instead of just destroying him, does prove how much he's trying to avert the venom's influence anyway. He IS trying.
I think the lingering specter looming over Garmadon over his inevitable fate must've like. Made it really hard for him to be happy at times, or even dare to dream of happiness. He committed his youth to saving the world, and then was trapped in the Underworld for years. He languishes alone with only the company of people who hate him and only go along out of coercion, people who DID choose to be evil. Garmadon has his agonizing stint as the lord of darkness, but still tries to help Lloyd, and after everything is freed.
And he still tries to atone!!! He still tries to make up for everything by swearing a vow of pacifism, and only rightfully goes back on that when an innocent life, his very son he does so much for, is threatened! Garmadon is allowed like, what? A few years of happiness with his wife and child, only a few years at best of not having to worry about the future because now destiny is out of the way and it's a fresh start for him, he can actually rest and breathe easy knowing there's no guaranteed doom ahead of him.
But he's still haunted by his past, still trying to make up for it; And then he has to sacrifice himself to save everyone all over again. And Garmadon dies, but he's not even allowed to stay dead because his soul is brought back in a fractured, tormented state, by someone who idolizes and misunderstands the worst period of his life, his greatest trauma. And now Garmadon is stumbling around, half-formed, incomplete, back in that same old trap and it's just so hard... But after everything, he still goes back to the same attempts at bettering himself, going against his nature one step at a time, in all of the little ways, rebuilding himself.
But his relationship with his son, this whole time, is deeply destroyed and fractured and hurt in a way it's never been before; And he and Lloyd never really get that reconciliation at the end of Crystalized. He doesn't get to be with his wife anymore and vice-versa. Garmadon is half a soul but still trying, he's always trying to be kind and good even in the worst of circumstances, it's his most natural instinct no matter how much tries to bury it underneath.
It's just. MAN; He really isn't allowed to be happy, isn't allowed to live or settle down. Truly doomed by the narrative, and by the hype of the Lego Ninjago Movie resurrecting the image of Lord Garmadon. Garmadon isn't allowed to hope, he isn't allowed to rest or settle down, it's just a constant battle for him. Sometimes I think he must've had a moment where he was just tired of being nice despite everything the world threw at him, that maybe he deserved a chance to go ape shit against everyone's ungrateful attitude and hypocritical condemnation by just embracing the darkness, and getting to think about himself for a moment; I think the closest to that was the love letter situation with Wu and Misako. A moment like that in the Oni trilogy would've been nice to see, though it has been a long while since I've watched it, so it may have happened.
Maybe Garmadon and the Overlord could've bonded over the fact that they're both doomed to play the role that nobody wants and everyone hates, yet is explicitly required by 'the balance' to exist nonetheless. I'd have loved to see him and Harumi interact in Crystalized, given Garmadon seems actually distraught when he accidentally kills her; It'd have done nice things for both characters to explore Garmadon's feelings about someone who chooses to glamorize his evil, but also weirdly enough appreciates him over it, too?
I'd have liked to see those two actually talk about the fact that Garmadon was doomed again all over, yet unintentionally maybe given a second chance at happiness, given his attempts at rehabilitation. And how does Harumi feel about this, how does she move on when her idol also fails her in this way? Does she keep clinging to a replacement like the Overlord, or just let go? It all turned to be NOT what she expected, both with the ninja and then with Garmadon.
It's like, man. The very concept of the 'balance' between good and evil having to exist, that there can't be too much evil but there also can't be too much good, and how this latter part is never explored because it exposes how fucked up the status quo is, it's driving me insane; Hell it drives Wu, Misako, Lloyd, and even Morro insane too. Someone has to take the fall, someone has to be the scapegoat, the sacrificial martyr, and be vilified for doing something everyone needs them to do. I'd go mad. Maybe that's the real reason for the Overlord's cruelty. And what happens if you take into account the original plan for Crystalized to reveal the Overlord is just the FSM's rejected Oni side?

Would Lloyd still get kidnapped by the snakes and Garmadon would have to help the Ninja ?
Would Nya find her true potential the same way Kai did ?
Yes, unfortunatelly Lloyd would get kidnapped and they need Garmadon.
How would Nya find her true potential?
Unlocking her true potential would be diffrent to Kai. They are two diffrent people who have other weaknesses.
So what's blocking Nya form unlocking her true potential?
Guilt Nya feels guilty towards Kai. She feels like she owns him something.
To explain everything when they were young Kai had to take care of Nya. During this time it wasn't easy for both of them, especially since Kai was still a child.
He had to find work, so he could provide money and food for both him and Nya. During her childhood Nya could often see Kai working very hard and often comming back home and immiediatelly going to bed, because he was so exhaused. He was always tired and on his hands she could always see wounds and scars from overhelming work.
After a while Kai also dropped out of school, because he couldn't work and study at the same time. It was simply too much for him, so he decided that, he'd only work instead.
Even though Nya wanted to do the same to support him, he refused and told her to go to school, so she would be well educated. He wanted her to have easier in the future.
During her childhood Kai was amazing brother, who cared deeply about her. He played with her, fixed her clothes, helped with simple stuff, bought or cooked meals and always smiled.
Even Kai's best efforts, he wasn't able to hide their poor situation and at some point Nya was able to notice. She was very cleaver girl.
Kai sacrificed so much for her.. His time, energy, health, childhood.
Seeing her brother sacrificing so much for her made Nya feel guilty, to the point when she started to ask herself if it would be easier for Kai if she wasn't there.
But the breaking point was when she noticed one time that Kai didn't eat anything on purpose so that it would be enough food for her.
Often their financial situation had ups and downs. I those times when there wasn't enough money for food, Kai lied to Nya that he had already eaten or wasn't hungry, so that she could eat.
But one time the brunette was able to catch him, drinking lots of water to numb the pain in his stomach.
This memory became deeply embedded in her mind and every time the situation in their home wasn't good, she started asking herself question.
Would it be better if I wasn't here? - If not me Kai wouldn't have to work that hard, to support two people. Maybe he'd still go to school. He wouldn't be so tired-
Nya just feels guilty.
She feels as if she's an albatross around Kai's neck. That she's holding him back or she isn't doing enough for him, as much as he for her.
Every time she got a present form her brother, she'd be excited because of it and then later sad, feeling like she doesn't deserve it.
But she didn't tell anything about this to Kai, thinking she'd make even more problems for him.
So she kept quiet.
Then suddenly there was a time, when Nya took a part in the technical competition and won. The brunette always loved building and at the teacher's urging, she applied. At first it was nice and funny experience for her, but then she recived a cash price for the first place.
That's when something new started. Nya won money and finnaly could help his brother.
In that moment she felt usefull, like she could help Kai and the fact that he was proud of her achievement made her even more motivated.
Nya started participing more in this competitions. She was determined and hard working.
To get some money she had to won first places. To achieve her goals she had to be the best.
If she wanted to be the best her projects had to be perfect, she told herself. There couldn't be any mistake.
Because when she was the best she could make a diffrence, she can help or even protect him.
Druing this time her guilt turned into light obsession over being the best, which had a big impact during her life as a ninja.
In the pilot when sceleton attacted Smiths Kai was kidnapped instead of Nya, because he kinda sacrificed himself.
Kai preffered that they'd take him instead of his dear sister. He'd do anything to protect her.
Meanwhile Nya was devastated, but also determined to get her brother back. That's why during her training with master Wu she was working very hard and became a ninja.
Later after she got Kai back they moved in.
Nya was actually very happy. They had new home and everything in abundance. She was very happy, because she could train with her new friends and Kai didn't need to work anymore.
Of course nothing would bring back his childhood and that time, but it was better than nothing. But at least now Kai could do anything he wanted and be safe.
But then as we know things started to get complicated and snakes appeared.
Kai & Lloyd's relationship improved and later Nya found out that Kai was Samurai X.
At first she was very mad, because she hated the man who stole her project, but then she felt confused.
Nya felt confused and angry, because why her brother had also to risk and fight for her? Why couldn't he just stop looking for her and simply enjoy his life?
Nya was angry, but once again left those thoughts only to herself.
And later we come to the (s01.ep10) when ninjas are going to safe Lloyd and go for the blade.
Kai didn't stay at the Bounty, because he wanted to make sure that his brother will be safe. So he went with the others.
During the missionin the end Llod, Nya & Kai are stuck in the vulcano and here Kai & Nya argue.
Kai: Nya c'mon we need to go! I've got Lloyd.
Nya: Then go! *still tries to take the blade*
Kai angry: Nya the whole place is going to errupt! Please take my hand!
Nya stubborn: I can do it myself!
Kai irritated: Why won’t you let me help you?!
Nya yell angrily: Because you’ve already done enough for me!
Kai confused: ..Nya what- What are you talking about?
Nya: *just realised what she had said and is terrified*
Nya: You sacrificed so much for me- If not me.. So let me just take care of you as you did for me!
Kai finally reasiling: Nya-
Nya desperately: Please, let me stop being your burden-!
Kai: You've never been!
Everyone: .....
Kai: Nya, you don't need to be the best or even good. You've always been enough for me-
Nya: Stop! If not me-!
Kai: Without you I wouldn't be here.
Nya shocked: ....
Kai: If not you, I wouldn't have strengh to fight. You were my motivation to keep going. Every time I felt like everything was breaking, you were the one that help me go through this- *smiles genuinely*
Nya: *smiles and takes his hand*
After that Nya found her true potential.
Nya played an important role in Kai's childhood, when their parents were gone.
If not she, he'd have been at his breaking point.
That little girl made him smile every time he felt bad and didn't make him feel lonely. Nya made him less scared and give him hope.
At that time he also made two promises:
I'll protect you at all cost.
I'll never leave you.

i think there was a comparison of tcf and tged here but atleast in tged og lloyd's parents still notice their son is not their actual son, unlike cale's family who were glad he just simply become non trash (this was the most upsetting when i read here that arcos and marbella noticed but cale's did not or even the butlers), a non family member didn't wish or say that it was great that og lloyd was replaced by someone else even if that someone is more helpful to the county, unlike alberu who was glad that cale got replaced, and another atleast suho plans to tell the truth to lloyd's parents unlike with rok soo to cale's parents who accepted he is cale (but then again og cale did request to accept the body they are in as who they are actually are)
i feel like i got a bunch of spoilers shoved down my throat but i have no context to them so no harm done ajshdksfd
i have no idea how fair it is to compare tged to tcf, they're two different pieces of media with their own themes, plots and characters going on and different people like different things. that's fine. i just personally disliked that people kept comparing my blorbo to their blorbo to make theirs look better. i don't want to the same thing! that's not very nice!
so i'm just gonna talk about what i do know which is the way tged treated og lloyd! i've read a bunch of isekai stories and it's rare the times the og characters are taken into account or even acknowledged so i was pleasantly surprised with how much focus tged put on the fact that suho did take someone's place, he did lie to his family and he did pretend to be someone he wasn't. and he feels genuinely sorry about it. he doesn't justify it by thinking he's better than og lloyd anyway so no harm done. he genuinely wants to apologize and make it right and he wants to do it at the right moment.
and then when the people around him find out the truth, they're not,,, happy about it. they don't think it was for the best or that og lloyd got what he deserved or that they're glad for it.
javier is the closest thing we get to something like that and even then he's genuinely torn about what he should do with the information. he hated og lloyd, absolutely despised the guy's guts, but even then he's not glad that he got replaced even when he acknowledges the new lloyd is hardworking, constructive and reliable. he doesn't know where his loyalties should lie and he's "filled with anguish" as he tries to decide what to do.
it would've been very easy for bk moon to just go "yeah he doesn't care that the son of the family he swore to protect got replaced by a stranger that's been lying to him for years" like, ahem, some other people would have, but instead he took the time to acknowledge that "hey, this is a genuinely fucked up situation, there's no right answer here, anyway you slice it someone will get hurt and the only way to move forward is to minimize the damage and make amends to the people who were hurt".
which is nice to see in an isekai! even tho og lloyd was absolute human garbage the narrative didn't dismiss him as a person and instead acknowledge that while it wasn't lloyd's fault there was still a someone being hurt by the fact he possessed a body that wasn't his.
and then when his parents find out they genuinely mourn the child they lost. there's no happiness, no joy, not even relief at being rid of a constant source of worry and disappointed. they're so... sad and heartbroken about their son being gone. even while they accept lloyd as their kid, even as much as they come to love him, there is no moment where they express any kind of pleasure about him replacing og lloyd. rather you get the sensation that they wish they could've had both of them at the same time, that they wish one hadn't come at the price of the other, that they love both of them so, so much even as different as they are.
the only one who doesn't express any kind of regret or sadness about og lloyd is julian which... honestly, it's very earned. no one should be forced to mourn their abuser, which exactly what og lloyd was to julian. if julian had expressed sadness over og lloyd that would've been his right, but the fact that he never did, at least not on-screen shouldn't be held against him, considering the amount of hurt og lloyd caused him.
so yeah! i really like the way bk moon handled this aspect of the story! again, i don't know how tcf works or what happens on it and at this point i'm not really interested in knowing! i'm sure it did its own thing and that it was great too!

Unlikely Hero
Fandom: The Last Showing
Pairing: Stuart Lloyd & Reader (platonic with hints of something else?)
Word Count: 1,659
Warnings: Non-con touching, hints of a potential abusive relationship (not Stuart)
Author's Note: I imagine this taking place after the movie with Stuart having a plan to try and make another film. Dramatic man that he is. A follow up to Called In for Call Outs.

It felt a little odd, coming to the theater without being there for work. These days, you mainly watched most of your movies at home. But it had been even longer since you had been on a date. The theater seemed the most neutral and safest location to have chosen. As you looked around though, you began to second guess that decision since there seemed to be a rather thin crowd gathered around. Really, you had thought that there would be more people at midnight shows and special events. Especially after the theater had gained some local notoriety. Too late to do anything about it now though.
Having arrived early, you purchased your own ticket. There wasn't any expectation for your date to have to pay for anything. It felt a little awkward anyway, being a first-time meeting in person. Pushing the thought from your head, lest you end up getting too nervous and bailing out, you wandered around the lobby for a few moments before spotting a familiar face standing around the concession stand. Now, that wasn't entirely usual. Wondering what he was doing, you moved over to greet him.
“Here at Midnight Cinema…” He paused mid-sentence and the bored look gave way when his eyes finally landed on you. There was the smile that you were far more familiar with.
“Evening, Stuart.”
“Well, good evening.” You leaned against the counter a little bit, giving the man a smile in return. It wasn't right, having him behind the counter like this. The theater only ran because of him. Yeah, they had made the transition to basically all digital, something that you did bemoan with him when it happened, but there was still a need for his skill sets. If not projection, at least running everything else. “It is a surprise to see you here this evening…”
“Yeah, a little surprising for me too,” you offered back with a small laugh. “They got you here behind the counter, huh?” Before he was able to say anything in response, someone appeared beside you.
“Hey, I thought I was going to meet you outside.” The voice was enough to cause you to straighten, turning to look at your date.
“It was a bit chilly, so I came in.” Not the entire truth. But, there wasn't any harm in that little white lie.
“Ah, already got your ticket then? Shall we get some snacks?” He turned his attention to Stuart. Your focus stayed on him for just a moment longer. You missed the way that Stuart's smile seemed to slip ever so slightly as your date’s hand rested against your lower back, causing you to shift on your feet enough to pull away some. Too much, too quickly. “How about some popcorn and a soda? Yeah, let's go with that.” He made a motion towards Stuart, as if to get him to move more quickly. Immediately, you smacked at his arm.
“Don't be an asshole. This theater wouldn't be what it is without Stuart. He kept this place running and could with his eyes closed even now. Have a little respect.” His head jerked back, and he looked at you like you had grown ten heads. As if to say that the man behind the counter was simply help and you were both above him. A major strike, something that caused you to pull away some more.
“It's alright, dear.” Stuart jumped in, the smile far more tight than it had been before. The smile that he often gave the manager that was running the theater now. Perhaps a little better than the last young man that had run it but still, completely unaware and unappreciative of the man and his skills. Unhappy. The poor man didn't deserve to be disrespected the way that he was.
“No, it's not. Apologize.” The last word was directed at your date, who opted to roll his eyes and mutter out a rather pathetic apology. That spoke a volume about his character, something that was all but impossible to assess over phone calls and video chat. Treatment of others, especially when it came to others that were in what were typically considered lower end service jobs, spoke volumes about a person. Right now, you were certainly not liking what you were seeing. Stuart set down the popcorn and soda. “Thank you very much, Stuart.”
******
The movie itself was enjoyable to a degree. You weren't the biggest fan of horror. But since you had decided on going to the movies, he had decided on which movie. But still, you could appreciate some of the decisions and aspects about it. The problem? Your date thought you would be a little more frightened and clingy than what was reality. Several times, he had tried to get handsy to the point that you had to bat them away. The whole evening was turning into an abundant mistake. This was a huge part of the reason that you didn't bother dating anymore. Because of assholes who didn't respect others or boundaries. Well, ultimately, it was a waste of an evening. There wasn't anything that could make it end quick enough at this rate. The very seconds seemed to tick by painfully slow.
The quiet halls greeted you as you left, seemingly no one else left in the place. He had insisted on waiting until the others had filed out, likely in hopes of getting a little luckier than he had during the film, but you had no interest. Actually, you couldn't possibly have any less than you did. If it wouldn't have been terrible rude, you would have left during the movie.
“Keep your hands to yourself.” God, how many times did he need to be told before he got the hint? A disgruntled sound came from your right, and your space was crowded once more. Apparently, more than just the last hint and the numerous ones before that. Pressure around your wrist pulled you to a stop. Tightening pressure.
“Listen, you've been acting totally frigid all damn night.” Frigid? It was a first date. You were too old to be playing these sorts of games and went to jerk your wrist out of his hold but weren't able to break the grasp. A flash of panic, throat constricting for a second. This was why you had met in public.
“You're kidding, right? This is a first date!”
“Is there a problem here?” You couldn't have been any more relieved than you were right then to hear the familiar voice. Stuart had happened upon the two of you.
“Listen, just mind your own damn business old man.” There would be a bruise minimum as his grip tightened further, now bordering on painful.
“Christ. You are an ass.” The comment spit out before you could help it, now openly wincing at the pain that radiated up your arm.
“I think you should keep your hands to yourself and move on.” Never did you expect Stuart of all people to stand up for you. At that moment, it was nice to know someone else cared. At least enough to try to help.
“And just what are you going to do about it?” Stuart stepped closer, surprising you and your date. Something flickered across his face, the way that his muscles jumped in his jaw. For a moment, the presence of the man that you knew seemed to flee. But you were the only one who picked up on it.
“I suggest that you listen to the wishes of your date and release your hold.” The underlying threat felt deeper, but apparently, your date wasn't buying it. When Stuart's hand flicked to his side, you were shocked to see a gun. Where the hell did Stuart get a gun? That seemed to have finally properly grabbed the attention of the man beside you, though. With one last squeeze, he shoved you away from him.
“Ain't worth it anyway.” Cradling your injured wrist to your chest, you watched him walk off, not realizing that Stuart was moving closer to you. What the hell had just happened?
“We really should get that looked at,” Stuart murmured gently, pulling you out of the daze that you had fallen into. “At the very least, you will likely need it wrapped.” Gone was whatever had come over the man, and he was back to the Stuart that you knew.
“Thank you.” The relief was evident even to your own ears. You wanted to ask him why he had a gun, why he was working the midnight shift, and what had happened, but all the thoughts flew from your brain at that moment. Instead, you leaned into the comforting touch that came with him wrapping an arm around your shoulders. Maybe the gun had happened after the last mess here where that young man had lost his mind and nearly killed his girlfriend and Stuart. That made the most sense. “Remind me to never date again.”
“Hardly think spending all your time alone is how you really want your life to turn out. Perhaps you simply need to do a better job of vetting your candidates.” That brought out a small laugh from you as he led you towards the back and one of the offices. “I'll accompany you to the hospital.” The offer came without any prompt right now. You didn't think you could turn it down. Driving would be a bitch with one hand anyway.
“That would be lovely. I can't thank you enough.” The smile was light, comforting, and familiar. Something much needed after the events of the evening.
“Nothing you need to thank me for,” he hummed as he finished carefully wrapping your wrist. “There. That should at least help until the medical professionals have taken a proper look.” Handing him the keys to your car, you were never more thankful for the friendship that you have formed with the man than you were right then.

i'm stuck between my anger and the blame i can't face
“Lloyd doesn’t blame you, none of us blame you. How were you supposed to know that he would get possessed by a teenage ghost with a vengeance?”
“I know that they don’t blame me, but..” Kai swallowed, rubbing his eyes on his red, dirty sleeve to keep the tears at bay, “I just wish I had gotten a really, really good punch in.”
‘Morro is so lucky that he’s already dead,’ Kai thought to himself as he chewed on his already raw lip and the bitter taste of coppery blood coated his taste buds.
He was aware that it was swollen with how many times it had broken open in the last day along with the fact that his hair was falling out of place due to the crusted salt water coating his scalp but compared to Lloyd, Kai had never looked better.
Despite the fact that it had been caused by their Sensei’s former student, the master of fire was painfully aware that there was no one to blame but himself for what had happened at the museum just a few weeks ago.
The misstep the team, especially himself, had made in letting Lloyd go by himself had now led to the youngest of the bunch being admitted into the hospital for an array of injuries and symptoms after collapsing against Nya’s armored chest when they had arrived at the harbors in the small riverboat.
And despite everything, Kai was all but forced to stay put in the tiny waiting room, biting at his fat lip to keep from blowing everything apart with bursts of burning flames from sheer anger and if some of the sinking guilt exited through it, that was fine by him.
But, he knew he had to keep it inside so no one else got hurt because the last thing he wanted was to hurt someone else even if Morro really deserved it right now.
“Hey, Kai?” Nya’s hand was soft on his shoulder as he was brought out of his thoughts to see his little sister with hair in a similar state of disarray that his own was and a water bottle in her hand, “you need to drink this.”
“I don’t want-”
“Take the water, dumbass,” Nya insisted, pushing the water bottle into his hand, “you and Jay are both dehydrated as hell and I do not want someone else getting admitted into the hospital tonight,” Kai couldn’t fight with her on that and screwed off the small plastic lid, washing away the bloody taste in his mouth with the cool, refreshing liquid, “and don’t chug.”
Kai pulled away the water bottle from his lips, wiping the drips off of his chin with his sleeve before feeling exhaustion pull at the genuine smile he offered his little sister, “I’m proud of you, the whole true potential thing.”
“Thanks,” she smiled briefly, her hand going to the back of her neck in a moment of timidness that Kai hadn’t seen in a very long time, “but, we all did great today. I just wish I had actually hit Morro after everything he did to Lloyd.”
Kai couldn’t stop himself from nodding; he knew that as the ninja, they were supposed to take the high road and not stoop down to the level of their enemies, but at the same time, the enemy had gone too far this time.
It felt as though even Lloyd had given up the golden power that the Overlord had coveted, he still had a massive target on his back just by existing.
“Kai, you’re zoning out again,” Nya spoke up, bringing him back to fluorescent lights and the pit of worry deep within his gut, “get another drink.”
He knew better than to fight with his little sister when he could see the worry reflecting in her brown eyes and as he sipped at the water again, he couldn’t stop himself from sending up a quick prayer to The First Spinjitzu Master or whoever else was listening.
‘Please help Lloyd heal.’
Lloyd’s cheeks were slightly flushed in the soft glow of the fluorescent lamp illuminating the room just enough for the hourly vital checks that the green ninja was being subjected to until he improved.
Kai could have focused on any number of things when he was finally let in to see Lloyd after Sensei and Misako left to get some much needed sleep and Nya was satisfied with his water intake.
The mild bruising around the IV site he could see just starting to creep out from the bandage  that covered the back of his hand, the oxygen mask that looked way too big for his face being held on by two elastic straps going over his ears, the dark purple and reds that made up his under eyes, or even the pale tint to his skin everywhere but his cheeks.
But all he could focus on was the light flush that told him that he was no longer possessed, that he was alive and that he would recover in time.
The reassurance of the pink cheeks along with the steady breathing despite the wheeze when he inhaled was enough for Kai to pull his eyes away from his unmoving body and distract himself with his phone since he knew that there was no possible way he would be getting sleep tonight.
He wasn’t sure how long he was scrolling mindlessly to distract himself but it did mean that he was looking at the screen when the screen dimmed to a black screen and the vibrations started to reveal a phone call from Skylor.
“Hello?” He couldn’t stop the yawn from escaping his lips as he spoke.
“Hey, I was getting ready to close for the night and I saw the news. Is Lloyd okay?”
Kai swallowed as he glanced at Lloyd with the large oxygen mask obscuring most of his view of his face before he managed a response, “we’re at Ninjago General, but he’s been pretty stable for the last few hours.”
“Okay,” Skylor paused for a moment and Kai heard some rustling in the background that he couldn’t place, “is it just you and Lloyd?”
“Yeah, the others needed sleep.” Kai confirmed, keeping the thought of ‘they were actually able to help’ to himself, knowing it would just worry her more.
“Do you want some food? I can be there in ten minutes.”
Now that he thought about it, noodles sounded good to his stomach that hadn’t had anything but water since right before they had made their way to Stiix that afternoon and just the thought of food made his stomach growl.
But he couldn’t leave Lloyd by himself, again. ‘Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.’
“Kai?” Her voice came back and he could hear the concern etched in it even through the distortion of his cell phone, “I said I can bring it to the room if you want me to meet you there instead.”
“Yeah. Yeah, that works,” Kai agreed, the relief filling him quickly as he added, “he’s on the pediatric ward, on the second floor, room eleven.”
“See you in fifteen.”
Kai had watched Skylor cook before; keeping customers calm and collected while simultaneously putting ingredients together based on the recipes she had grown up cooking and eating on the island her father had been banished to; for her, it was all she knew but for him, it was the ultimate comfort food.
It tasted like home, it tasted like the first time he and Nya had enough money for more than new materials, power bills and seeds to grow their own food, it tasted like the the two of them ordering off of the one dollar menu for the very first time, it tasted like finding a speck of light in an otherwise suffocating darkness.
That first time they had gone, Kai had ordered the seemingly simple noodle soup but when he had brought the spoon to his lips for the first time, he was overwhelmed with how fantastic the flavors melded together. Bok choy, rice noodles, spicy shreds of chicken, green onion, chili paste and ginger all swimming in a golden, rich, chicken broth; it was the first time he had found comfort in food, and it wouldn’t be the last.
Even now, sitting face to face with Skylor as she tried to coax him into eating some of her puffy potstickers and chocolate-covered shell peas, all he could do was try and breathe in the comforting smell of his soup while simultaneously try to drown out the light hiss of the oxygen mask and the consistent beeping of the various monitors.
“Nya tried to keep me updated on everything, after Garmadon…” Skylor’s voice was quiet even while breaking the silence, “but after telling me that you four had lost your powers, she kind of ghosted me. I know that you two don’t usually check your phones while you’re preoccupied, so I was waiting for her to text me back again.”
Kai nodded, still unable to find his voice which gave Skylor the chance to keep talking, “after all, it’s only been a couple of weeks since she sent me that message,” ‘it had only been a couple of weeks?’, “but when I saw the news coverage, and I saw how sick Lloyd looked, I had to find out-”
“It’s my fault.” He spoke before even fully thinking about what he was saying, stopping Skylor in her sentence; but once the dam burst, he couldn’t stop talking, saying exactly what had been on his mind since that night where he fought the one he swore to protect outside of Steep Wisdom.
“I let him go without backup after I promised him that I would watch out for him. I broke through to him twice and I couldn’t get him back either time. I let him get dragged into the Cursed Realm-”
“Kai,” Skylor’s hand was soft against his glove; while it effectively cut off his rambling, it didn’t stop the tears that had started to build in his eyes and blur his vision, “Lloyd doesn’t blame you, none of us blame you.
Skylor squeezed his hand tightly, her familiar smile gracing her face for a moment before morphing into a more empathic expression as she spoke, “I think the only person who blames you is you and the only person who can forgive you is you,” she stopped to hand him a puffy potsticker, the light scent immediately hitting his nose with a wave of comfort, “but you really have to eat more than dollar menu soup so you can get some sleep. Lloyd is going to be asleep for a while.”
Kai never claimed to be an expert on anything, but he did know when it was better to just do as he was told, especially when it was from someone who had a much clearer state of mind, so he ate the potsticker, took a long drink of water and finally let himself relax in the armchair next to Lloyd.
He wasn’t sure when Skylor left, but he did know that at some point he felt a blanket being tossed over his legs and a soft kiss being pressed to his cheek before he succumbed to the mind-numbing darkness.
Kai woke up to chaos.
The sun shone in his eyes, the blanket that had been put on him had fallen to the floor at some point while he was sleeping and he could hear rapid, loud beeping.
Rapid, loud beeping. In a hospital. Where Lloyd was hooked up to so many monitors. Where any number of things could go wrong.
He stood up before he fully had a chance to process anything that was happening around him, his hands reaching out in fists to either fight someone or to let go of his palms in order to figure out what had happened while he had stupidly let his guard down and slept.
But when he blinked, he saw Lloyd looking right at him with a tired smile, his oxygen mask now replaced with a nasal cannula, as a doctor continued to fiddle with the monitor with her face pressed into mild frustration.
“Sorry for waking you up like that,” Lloyd muttered quietly, his voice just above a whisper while he continued to smirk, “The monitor got unstuck.”
“When did you wake up?” Kai asked, still trying to shake away the adrenaline that had thoroughly encased his under-caffeinated mind.
“He woke up a few times last night, but only for a few minutes at a time,” the doctor supplied, seemingly content with the monitor now that it was reattached to Lloyd’s body and beeping steadily, “this is the first time he’s really been awake.”
“Finally got caught up on sleep,” Lloyd added, his tired smile widening before turning to the doctor, gesturing to the tubing around his face, “when can this come off?”
“I’d like for your oxygen levels to go up just a bit more before we take you off of supplemental oxygen completely, but that’ll be in a few hours at the most if it stays on this time.”
“Anything to get this itchy thing off of my face,” Lloyd agreed before seemingly remembering some sort of manners and adding a “please” at the end which Kai couldn’t help but smile at given that it had been awhile since he had seen his childish nature.
“Okay, I’ll be back in a couple of hours to check your vitals again.” the doctor told him, disposing of the gloves she had been wearing in the trash can before walking out of the room, leaving Lloyd and Kai by themselves and the guilt slowly started to creep back into Kai’s mind.
‘What are you smiling about when you caused all of this in the first place?’
“You can go get some tea or something,” Lloyd mumbled, his eyes shutting halfway while pulling in a not nearly as wheezey inhale like the ones Kai had fallen asleep to the night before.
“No, I’m okay,” Kai insisted, finally sitting back down in the armchair next to Lloyd and watching as Lloyd reached over and put his hand on top of Kai’s, “are you?”
“Mmhmm, just sleepy,” Lloyd managed a quick nod and a slow blink before asking, “does mom know?”
“I’ll tell the others. You stay awake for a few more minutes,” Kai insisted, pulling out his phone to send a picture of Lloyd to the others, only for Lloyd to stick out his tongue in retaliation right as the photo snapped, “do you really want me to send this,” he stopped to turn the phone screen toward him, “to your mom?”
“They don’t need a picture,” Lloyd huffed, his joking mood completely erased in just one moment that made Kai’s stomach twist with a mix of guilt and worry, “I’m going back to sleep.”
Despite the need to ask and the need to press further, Kai kept his mouth shut; he pocketed his phone and used his free hand to run a hand through Lloyd’s matted hair, feeling him relax into sleep as he did.
After all, he was the one to blame; even if the others didn’t put him at fault, he knew one thing that was true, even if Lloyd only thought it deep within his subconscious.
‘Why would he ever trust me again?’
Kai would be lying to himself if he had said that he needed a break from the hospital room.
Even now that Lloyd was awake every few hours and managed to keep conversations going for more than a few sentences with the others, the room still made his stomach turn even before he factored in any of the guilt that hit him whenever Lloyd’s misty, green eyes made contact with his own.
So when Misako, Sensei and Zane had arrived, supplying the fact that Cole and Jay got sidetracked with a robbery, Kai knew that he could safely step out without anything happening to Lloyd.
‘Not that you’re strong enough to stop it regardless.’ His inner voice sneered as he went down to the first floor to find either the cafeteria, fresh air, or the vending machine.
Admittedly, in his search for caffeine so the mild throbbing in his temples would be quelled, he knew he made a wrong turn when he ended up in the waiting room where the hellish nightmare of the last twelve hours had started.
“Anything yet?” Kai couldn’t stop from panting after running straight from The Bounty into the entrance of the hospital, more than likely scaring the receptionist. That or it was the combination of three exhausted ninja, a literal ghost and a Nindroid.
But, if the woman behind the counter was scared, she was fantastic at keeping it to herself as she turned to the computer and asked “name?”
“Lloyd Montgomery-Garmadon.” Nya spoke up, her brother only now realizing how shaky her voice sounded.
“He’s still being treated,” the woman announced as she continued to type away, “immediate family only.”
“We don’t have time for this! His family situation is complicated between the Great Devourer and The First Spinjitzu Master, not even to mention the whole Underworld thing-!”
“Jay!” Cole shouted, effectively cutting off his obviously dehydrated ramblings before giving the woman a polite smile, “what he’s trying to say is that we’re practically his siblings.”
“Take a seat.” The woman responded before turning back to her work, effectively sending the group of six to the chairs that signaled uncertainty.
“I’m gonna go get some water bottles.” Nya announced before she even had a chance to sit down. Zane followed closely behind her to help her carry them, but Kai knew that he was also watching over her to make sure that she also didn’t collapse from the exhaustion of the night.
And while Jay leaned against Cole’s ghostly shoulder, his eyes already shutting with exhaustion, Kai’s stomach turned harshly as he thought about Lloyd and all the unknowns that came along with being unable to see him.
“Kai?”
He should have expected for Nya to find him in the waiting room.
She had always been good at knowing when he was struggling and where he would retreat to when he had the chance, even in an unfamiliar location to the both of them.
“You okay?” She asked, her gloved hand landing on his shoulder.
“Yeah, just looking for some caffeine.” He lied through his teeth, but he should have known better than to try and fool the one who knew him best.
“Vending machine is over there,” she gestured with her hand to the illuminated, refrigerated box in the corner, “what’s really going on?”
“I…I can’t tell you.” Kai stuttered, wincing when he saw Nya’s concern turn into confusion.
“Kai-” she started, seemingly trying to coax him into letting her in, but he cut her off before she could even begin and the fear that had been at the back of his mind for so long that it had become part of his subconscious finally broke free from his lips.
“You won’t see me the same way if I do.”
And with that, he backed away from her, watching as the hand that had rested on his shoulder fell to her side before walking out of the automatic doors and into the streets of New Ninjago City.
He didn’t know where he was going, he didn’t even know where he would end up. All he knew was that he had to get out of that place with its white walls, the stench of rubbing alcohol and the guilt that threatened to swallow him whole.
He made it a street over when he realized that he had left Lloyd again. He made it two before his conscience started screaming at him to ‘go back to the hospital and tell Nya everything.’
When he made it three streets over, the feeling of sterilization left his bones and was replaced with the familiar but loud sounds of the city around him.
It would be comforting if the voice in his mind wasn’t taunting him with thoughts of ‘you left Lloyd again, traitor,’ and ‘if it isn’t Morro, someone else will hurt him. All because you aren’t there. So much for the “Master of Fire”.’
Kai’s feet stopped moving in the middle of the sidewalk; he could feel the citizens of the city shoulder check him or just walk around him, faces moving coming into and disappearing from view in a blur and he was paralyzed, forced to stand on the designated pavement.
His breath hitched and he was suffocating on air. His chest hurt and he couldn’t feel his hands. His back hit the wall of a building as his eyes burned with hot tears and his head wouldn’t stop echoing “your fault, your fault, your fault”-
“Kai? Kai, can you hear me?”
He tried to nod to the distorted voice but his vision wouldn’t focus on the blur of red and orange and his neck felt stiff so he reached a hand out, hoping that the figure would grab onto it; when he had spent weeks with a white bandage covering his right eye and couldn’t find the strength to open the left one, he had found comfort in tight grips around his hands and identifying them based on how hard they squeezed back.
Sure enough, when the person returned his grasp and said something about “try to slow your breathing”, he focused on their hand to see if he could find familiarity in the grooves.
The small piece of callous sticking out of their right thumb was all he needed for his vision to focus and his chest to slow its heaving, but in its wake left a deep seated exhaustion and he had to use all of his strength to keep himself from falling face first into the sidewalk.
“Come on,” Skylor’s voice was soft as she wrapped his arm around her shoulder and wrapped her arm around his side, “let’s get you inside.”
After taking a much needed nap on Skylor’s futon and eating two full bowls of ramen, Kai finally had the strength to air out everything he was feeling; it never came this easy when it came to the others, but with her, he had the opposite problem where he couldn’t stop talking.
“-and I know what you said last night, that the only person who can forgive me is myself,” Kai stopped to pull the orange throw tighter around his shoulders before looking back into Skylor’s amber colored eyes, “but I don’t even know how to do that.”
“It’s not easy, and it’s not linear,” the hollowness in her voice nearly matched his own, “it’s easier when you first acknowledge that it’s going to take a while for that to happen, self-forgiveness.”
Kai couldn’t help but wonder what Skylor herself felt guilty for, but he also knew better than to ask; if it was anything like his own situation, he’d much rather she told him when she was ready to.
“Has Wu talked to you six about guilt?” She questioned, moving to sit beside him on the futon and resting her hand on his shoulder, giving him permission to put his head against her, “about how to cope with it?”
“He always says that guilt is a good thing, means that we’re aware of what we’ve done even if it’s a mistake,” Kai sighed, trying to grasp onto the words of his sensei when he had been sick with grief over Zane, “it’s when you start to hate yourself because of your actions that it becomes a problem.”
“Do you?” Skylor asked, her hand running through what would usually be a spike but had fallen down around his scalp.
Kai took a moment to consider it, but ended up shaking his head, “that’s not what this is. I just wish I could have done more. The others had really helpful weapons, Nya’s powers defeated the Preeminent and I…” he swallowed, feeling the stinging tears start to make their appearance, “I had a headband.”
“You felt useless.”
And that’s when it finally hit Kai directly in the chest.
He had always echoed the sentiment that Wu had given them, that they were not just their powers, but after having those powers for a little under two years now, he had let the element take away his sense of self and now that he had it back, he wasn’t sure that he was even worthy of it.
“I wasn’t good at anything before I started training under Sensei,” he let a tiny flame flicker in his hand, a reassurance that Lloyd was okay, “But me and the others, our destiny is to protect Lloyd and when I couldn’t do that…It makes me wonder if I’m good at this at all.”
“You’ve done so much, for Lloyd and for Ninjago,” Skylor insisted, gently pressing a kiss to the top of his head before holding him tighter, “but, self-doubt is a bitch and something I know a thing or two about.”
“Really?”
“Yeah. Not as intensive as being one of Ninjago’s sworn protectors or anything, but going from being a pawn in a tournament designed to steal powers to running an entire noodle empire,” Kai could hear her light hearted smirk as she spoke, “let’s just say it’s a massive adjustment.”
“How’d you…you know.” Kai couldn’t find the words as yet another nap threatened to drag him into sleep.
“Learn how to live with it? I brushed myself off, told myself that one angry customer wasn’t going to destroy the entire business and moved on. It wasn’t easy at first, but now? I’m kind of an expert.”
Kai absorbed her words and tried to apply them to his own situation; he knew that the guilt was normal and even expected, but at the same time, he knew that even if he had been at the museum that day, Morro wouldn’t have abandoned his plan when he saw him. He’d either plan a different attack or worse, hurt both of them before taking Lloyd.
Just as an angry customer wouldn’t bring down Mister Chen’s Noodle Emporium, the day at the museum wasn’t going to tear apart his team. ‘So why should it tear me apart?’
“You should go back to sleep, hot shot,” Skylor insisted while maneuvering the comforter so it covered both of them, “I’ll text your sister and let her know you’re safe.”
Kai nodded and shut his eyes, letting the sound of Skylor’s heartbeat lull him into sleep.
The hours passed around him in a blur; he’d wake up, take a drink of water and fall back to sleep. Sometimes Skylor would be there, other times he was all alone. Sometimes the sleep would just be peaceful darkness, but the rest of the time, he was forced to be a fly on the wall as he watched himself go through everything that had happened in the last few weeks.
“Don’t worry, big shot,” pressing his hand into Lloyd’s golden waves, holding onto his arm so he couldn’t escape, “I’ll watch over you from now on.”
That one moment of happiness that was tinged in melancholy grief and the fear of the unknown. After that, all he saw were flashes of himself against the ghost who started all of this.
‘Foolish ninja! Why would you try and take me on all by yourself?!’ rough hands gripped the promotional t-shirt he was wearing, but despite the fear of what would happen to him running through his veins, his fear about Lloyd was stronger.
‘Because I promised to look after Lloyd,’ he maneuvered so his hands were pressing onto his “brother’s” neck, holding him tightly, ‘I know you’re in there, Lloyd. Fight him!’
‘The staff is getting away! Let go of me!’
‘Only when you let go of Lloyd!’
That’s when he heard his voice, raspy and gravely like every word hurt him to say, ‘Kai. Help me!’
The world swirled around him. He was no longer outside of Steep Wisdom, he was on the small boat from Cloud Kingdom, trying to best the sword of sanctuary and destiny at the same time all with just a single aeroblade.
‘I guess both our fates are tested, the only thing is that I already know how mine will end!’ Morro jeered as he engaged in hand to hand combat before stealing the aeroblade with his free hand, leaving Kai backed against the wooden side, ‘now I know how yours will!’
But before he could strike him down, his body stiffened and he nearly fell to his knees as Lloyd’s strained voice broke through, ‘take the sword, Kai! I can’t hold him much longer!’
Once again, the scenery changed. He was no longer in the snow, but rather, in a freezing cold river. Lloyd’s weight was heavy in his right arm as he paddled with his left, desperately trying to avoid going over the waterfall just like the realm crystal.
His cheeks were hot and he could feel a tiny bit of drool on his chin when Skylor finally woke him up for good, pressing a hot mug of tea into his palms once he was sitting up and setting a plate with a couple of pancakes on the coffee table without being asked.
“Thanks, for all of this.” Kai finally said after taking a few sips of the tea, “I really appreciate it.”
Skylor just shrugged in a “it’s nothing” way as she took a bite from her own plate, only speaking after she swallowed, “Nya said that Lloyd got discharged. Do you want me to drop you off at The Bounty after you eat?”
‘You can’t hide from this forever.’
“Yeah, that sounds good.” Kai agreed, savoring the subtle sweetness of the tart blueberries that had been mixed in with the pancake batter, “I’m sure you’re welcome to stick around for a bit afterwards.”
“That’s sweet,” Skylor started, but he could tell by her tone that she was rejecting his offer, “but, I have a lot of reservations at the flagship location today, investors. I’ll drop by for a visit soon though.”
Kai knew that her agreeing to visit soon was the best he was going to get and dropped the topic to finish eating breakfast and run some cold water over his face before they left her apartment.
He was glad that she drove him home, he didn’t feel steady enough to take the wheel and given that Lloyd had just gotten out of the hospital, it would be best if he didn’t get himself admitted in his place.
The drive was silent aside from the sound of the R&B music he seemingly always heard her playing, whether that was in her apartment or in her car; it sounded like everything he loved about her from the small smile that would grace her lips every time she giggled under her breath to the way her hands always knew just how to move in his hair to put out the fiery walls of anger that he more often than not surrounded himself with.
But, the silence was welcome after the chaos of the last few weeks. For Kai, it gave him the chance to breathe and to feel without tears pricking at the corners of his eyes or fire trying to force itself out of his palms.
He could just be, and for that twenty minute drive, that was okay because while the others meant well, she never tried to force the information out of him. She was content to hold his hand and wait for him to be ready and she always knew exactly what to say.
Kai didn’t know if they would last forever, between their busy schedules and his inability to call her when villains arose as everything went to shit, but in these moments where she drove with her left hand and kept her right clasped against his left, he felt like just focusing on the now was enough for both of them.
So when they arrived at The Bounty and he took off his seatbelt, he was fully prepared to just get out of the car until her hand reached out, making him stop.
“You’ve got this. Don’t let them make you talk about it if you don’t want to, okay?”
“I know, Sky.” He nodded, leaning forward to press a kiss to her soft cheek as a good-bye, “I’ll text you in a bit, promise.”
“Okay,” she agreed and let go, waiting until right before he shut the passenger side door to say with a wink, “see you later, Hot Tamale.”
And with that, she drove off; back to the city where her home and her job were, forcing Kai to turn around and board The Bounty, his heart pounding in his chest as he did.
It wasn’t that he was scared of his teammates, his family, but more so that he was worried about the glances that Jay would give Nya, trying to pry information and the questions that would inevitably be asked about why he had left.
He wasn’t surprised to see that the deck was empty. Given the fact that Lloyd had been discharged, he knew that they would all be below deck, probably watching some bad tv show or playing video games.
Sure enough, when he arrived in the living area, he wasn’t shocked to see Cole, Jay and Zane sitting on the floor as they played Fist to Face 2 and he knew that Wu and Misako were more then likely somewhere that was more quiet aboard The Bounty as they finalized the last of the documents from selling Steep Wisdom.
But what he hadn’t expected was to see Nya sitting on the couch, her controller long abandoned as her right hand rested on Lloyd’s shoulder that was under what looked suspiciously like the red and orange blanket that belonged to Kai and was always haphazardly draped over the edge of his bed.
“Hey,” Kai whispered, getting Nya’s attention as he sat down next to Lloyd’s sock covered feet, not wanting to be loud enough that he would open his green eyes, “how is he?”
Nya’s smirk filled her face for a moment as she gently moved her hand up and down the boy’s shoulder, “he’s doing better. He tried to play for a bit but he’s still tired, poor thing,” she looked away from his peaceful face to meet Kai’s eyes, “are you doing better?”
And as Kai around the room for a moment, taking in the familiar glow of the television, the sounds of Jay cheering a bit too loudly only to get shushed by Zane and the pure relaxation that covered Lloyd’s sleeping face despite the signs of exhaustion still being there, he found the strength to meet his sister’s eyes and speak.
“I’m getting there.”

Wouldn’t mind some feedback! Lloyd was driving me nuts so I had to do it. Thank you in advance 💜

Your cheeks are flushed with heat as the server returns with your entrees. Lloyd shamelessly keeps his hand nestled between your tingling thighs, clamped in an attempt at modesty. He sits forward to eat with his free hand as you can barely keep your head from wobbling. You feel as if everyone in the place has witnessed your undoing.
“Mmm, better get it while it’s hot,” he scoops up a mouthful of season potatoes, “I’m not spending money for nothing, babe.”
He pinches you before finally removing his hand. He takes his knife, not bothering to wipe the glisten from his fingers, as he cuts into his filet. You slowly sit up as your eyes flick over to Colin as he reads over the bill.
He avoids meeting your gaze but you’re happy for it, humiliated and hot. You pick at the lobster tail with your fork and peer down at your plate. This night couldn’t be over soon enough.
“Aw, don’t pout, baby, I’m just getting started,” he bites into a chunk of juicy beef, chewing noisily.
“Hey!” There’s a shout and the clatter of a tray as empty dishes crash onto the floor. You look up as a man shoves a waiter out of his way, skidding on his soles as he stops beside Colin’s table, “what the fuck is going on here?”
Your mouth falls open as Lloyd reaches for his whiskey and finishes it with a pop of his lips, “looks like he got my message.”
“What?” You look at him as he watches with delight.
“Tell me you haven’t dreamed of this. Look at the coward, he’s about to piss his pants.”
“Wh–why?”
“Oh come on, you should be thanking me,” he leans back and drapes his arm over your shoulders, “in fact, you’re gonna thank me. On the way back. When we get there. And so on. The night is young, sweet cheeks.”
You look back to the scene across the restaurant, reminded of the night you came and Colin left you alone and nearly sobbing. The words he said to you then and after. The accusations that proved to be little more than projection.
For once, you agree with this douchebag at your elbow. He deserves this.
“That’s my fucking wife!” The much bigger man drags Colin out of his seat. Your husband couldn’t be called small but he was shorter and more slender than the bull shaking him by his collar, “my slut of a wife!”
Those words sting and you tilt your head. You know what it’s like to be on the receiving end yet you can’t feel sorry for the blond grabbing onto the angry man’s arm. She did this. They both did. They ruined two marriages for what?
“Do you ever come here without making a scene?” You lift your cocktail and drain it until there’s only a few chips of melted ice.
“I don’t do quiet,” he shrugs and goes back to his meal, “and I like a show with my dinner.”
You sniff as a gaggle of waiters try to calm the raging man throttling your husband. The mention of police moves the rabble towards the door but not without chaos. Table wobble with the impact of the intertwined man as heels click in their stead, following the fight outside.
“I need another drink,” you put your glass down, “preferably a double.”
Lloyd raises his hand and whistles, “garcon.”
You cringe and sink down lower. His quick response would be flattering if it wasn’t completely patronizing.
💎
Your stomach is unsettled, the pasta sitting like a lump as your anxiety flickers in your chest. You sit back in the low car seat and frame your forehead with your hand. A nice relaxing shower somehow ended in you being wound tighter than before.
"Baby, better keep me awake, you don't want me falling asleep at the wheel, do ya?" Lloyd says as he steers out into the street, giving his stomach a slap, "god, that was good, wasn't it?"
His hand slips down and he flicks his belt. You straighten in your seat as his eyes flash at you in the rearview. You repress your agitation and reach between the seats, bending over the stick as you pull back the tail of his belt.
It's just one thing after the other, you gripe inwardly, this man will never let you relax. Never let you catch your breath.
You unhook his belt and open his fly. You want to get home and go to bed. He's just a man, you get him off and he'll be ready for the same. He's hard as you reach beneath the fabric, unsurprised by his lack of briefs.
You take him out and stroke him mechanically. Men are easy when they have their pants down. Your husband proved that. With his own boss. His ex that he never shut up about. You should've known. You were never good enough and now look at you.
You push your mouth around him, grazing him with your teeth.
"Eh, put some love into it," he flinches and rests his hand on your head, "fuck."
You loosen your throat and grimace around him. You bob up and down, the noise making you sick, stirring the storm already whirling in your stomach. He clutches your air as you ignore the ache in your jaw.
Your eyes water at the sudden awareness of yourself, of what you're doing, of how you won't stop. You have nothing and this man made sure of that. Tonight wasn't a favour, it was just another reminder of his power over you.
You drag your tongue up and down, flicking around his tip. You wiggle your nose and force back the haze of tears. No, he won't see you like that. He's seen enough. You're just buzzed, maybe a bit depressed.
You bring your hand up and work him diligently. He groans and swerves as he squeezes his fistful of hand.
"Jeez, baby, you're gonna get us in trouble," he chortles and shoves you down, "ah, you little slut, you already got me ready to blow."
He takes over, guiding your pace as his fingers stretch over your skull. He drags you along his length and groans.
"Yeah, you gobble that dick," he slithers, "I'm gonna cum and you're gonna drink it up, yeah…."
He pushes you to his limit and his hips buck. He snarls and slams on the break, spilling down your throat as he sputters. He grips the wheel tight and holds you in place and drowns you until you're gagging.
He lets you go and you sit up, coughing as you spit up his cum. You fall against the leather as your body vibrates and you cover your face in shame.
"Please," you rasp, "I want to go home."
"Home," he shifts back into gear with a scoff, "what home?"

Everything Right/Wrong with Ninjago “Rebooted” E2: The Art of the Silent Fist
Disclaimers: Show owned by LEGO. This is not a professional review/critique - it’s mainly intended for comedy!
Make sure to reblog, comment, and like, and tell me your thoughts!
- Theme ✅
- How convenient for the animators that Wu’s memories are all in third person ❌
- “No robots…” Lloyd forgets that Zane isn’t dead… yet. ❌
- Where did Nya get a green suit for Lloyd? ❌
- “There’s a reason [Wu’s] lived as long as he has.” Yeah, because he’s part of nearly every mythical, immortal creature in the book. There’s so many different forms of magical DNA in this guy that, frankly, I’m surprised he isn’t radioactive ❌
- “You guys go ahead. I will stay back and watch [the blades].” Wow, they didn’t even try to argue with him, huh? The DISRESPECT ❌
- Wait, why does Nya like Cole? We saw that the two were assigned as a perfect match, but we never saw hints of Nya actually liking him and now we’re supposed to believe she’s suddenly in love with both of them? What?? ❌
- “But Cole… Cole is not Jay (positive)…” OOOHHHHHHHHH🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
- Seriously though, this is such an awful line considering Jay is her canon love interest. And don’t say they didn’t know Jaya was gonna be canon because I do not believe there was a second they were actually going to make Cole and Nya a thing ❌
- I’m not even gonna sin them for tweaking Garmadon’s design from the end of last season because this one is objectively better ✅
- “Check out the new Sensei… lookin sharp!” Jay is a Garmadon simp confirmed and I really don’t know if that’s a sin or not anymore
- “SILENCE” *WHACK* Ohoh, I’m gonna like him, aren’t I? ✅
- How did Zane not notice the blades being stolen from in front of him? He clearly wasn’t sleeping, and Pixal later even says she wasn’t built for stealth ❌
- “Pixal? What are you doing?” “Discontinuing an old droid!” D*mn ✅
- Was that even a Pixal scream? It sounded a lot like Nya ❌
- “How about we take her apart to find out!” Jeez Kai calm down. Imagine what the others would say if he wanted to dismember a human ❌
- “Relax, not a weapon!” Then why didn’t they just bring them inside in the first place?!?! ❌
- “These nindroids are so much fas-“ Give me perfectly timed cuts for 400 Alex ✅
- “wouldn’t that mean shutting down Pixal too?” “Don’t tell Zane!” The ninja don’t even seem to consider Pixal as a living entity. They only even take her into account as a reference to Zane, nothing else. You can’t convince me they would be this chill about taking out the power if a human’s life was on the line. Basically what I’m saying is the ninja are racist ❌
- “We are all different, but I do not feel so different around you…”⬇️ ✅
Tumblr media
- “Ever since we left I’ve been worried about [the students].” “Oh, Dareth’s looking after them.” Was that supposed to ease Cole’s worries cuz I’m pretty sure it made them worse ❌
- “Ya know, Cole, you don’t get the credit you deserve. You always put others ahead of yourself! I know the other ninja get all the attention but I just want you to know, you’re a good guy.” This is literally just the writers trying to convince us to care about Cole at a point in which such a small amount of the fandom actually did. I love Cole, I always have, but I think anyone who was in the fandom prior to the Wildbrain era can attest to how ignored he was as a character. This went off on a small rant so to clarify, I’m not sinning this because of how underrated Cole used to be (personally I think that’s more the fandom at the time’s fault than the show itself). I’m sinning this because it felt awkward and forced ❌
- “Don’t tell Jay.” Why? There was nothing inherently romantic about that line, or this situation in general, so what is there to not tell Jay? ❌
- “This is where all of Ninjago gets its power.” Zane mansplains something that even Dareth should be able to determine Pixal already knows ❌
- “I will call you Mindroid!” *angry mindroid noises* Worry not, Mindroid. One day we will join together and seek vengeance against all those who mock us with labels like “fun-sized” and “vertically challenged.” We are living versions of the pocket knife - cleverly concealed until the final moments in which we are revealed to deliver the killing blow.
- “Stupid technology!” Kai said, to the glass case ❌
- “oh who cares about probability!” this is character development… I have absolutely no idea where it came from or how Pixal developed but it sure is there ❌
- How unlucky was Pix that she just happened to land on the ONE laser we’ve seen throughout this entire episode? ❌
- *Mindroid breaks into office* “Great! Now they come in fun-sized!” ✅
- “This is no time for a lesson, Kai!” Actually, the climax generally is the time for the lesson, Jay
- The nindroids might have Storm Trooper aim but that doesn’t make it okay for the ninja to dodge in the worst possible way just to show off ❌
- Lloyd - beloved Green Bean - you’re supposed to cup the water in your hands, sweetie… not just stick your whole face in the pond like you’re bobbing for apples… ❌
- “This is why I took an oath of peace!” Why? So you and your son could get mauled by a giant, robotic dragon?? ❌
- Mindroid dies, and although killing him is 100% sinnable by death, this is actually a sin because he appears unscathed later on multiple times ❌
- Why does it take so long for Pixal to lose power? ❌
- “Your mission was important. I was not. I am to assist; I assisted.” The show never acknowledges how tragic this scene is. Well, it does, but only with Pixane, not Pixal as her own character. We constantly get to see glimpses of Pixal’s insecurities, but rarely see them built on or developed. ❌
- The only source of power for ALL of Ninjago is operated by this one tower and no one thought that was a bad idea ❌
- “We are compatible?” “Yes, yes we are.” ✅
- Look, Pixane is my favorite canon ship, but I still hate the way it happened. It was rushed, under-developed, and just didn’t feel right. ❌
- But also, Pixal only has feelings for Zane once it’s obvious that he feels that way about her so… recipromantic Pixal canon? ✅
Sentence: Mindroid coming for your kneecaps

DRAGONS RISING SEASON 2 SPOILERS!!
I'm trying to just get my thoughts out because HOO BOY
Lloyd, my baby boy, how on EARTH did the writers fill him with MORE trauma - im pretty sure hes going to explode soon - Sam Vincent's voice acting WAS SO GOOD, the geniune panicky breathing put ME on edge and the way he sounded in AGONY everytime another vision came OUUUCH - AND AND his vision/fear thingy from the trials?? Devastating how could you let Wu say the words, writers when I get you - also he was trying to be so helpful to Arin please he's just a little guy trying to parent I love him so much
the SECOND we got told about the warrior wolf masks and them shattering the good inside people in order to get strength/Spinjitzu/power etc my IMMEDIATE first thought was "Arin..." and then they bring up the fact that HES SO GOOD SO OF COURSE THIS MEANS THAT HE WOULD GET SO MUCH POWER AND THEN HIS RUN IN WITH RAS AHHH (also while I know it was a weird like knock-out vision, seeing him see Nya and Lloyd as his parents was cute to me (NOT IN A SHIP WAY DONT BE WEIRD) - Nya has been very "Mama Nya" so far and I'm loving it <3) - Arin's arc has been PAINFUL (in a good way) and THAT LAST BIT WITH SORA HELPING HIM DO OBJECT SPINJITZU DONT I KNOW THATS GONNA COME BACK TO BITE THEM IN THE ASS
Nya,,, and Kai,,, AND WYLDFYRE MY BABIES OOOUGHHH HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN TO THEM - seeing more childhood stuff for Nya and Kai is ALWAYS a delight they were so small just little babies and the way that it was how BOTH of them unlocked rising dragon OOOUGH THEY LOVE EACHOTHER SO MUCH - "My big brother is my hero, and now he's the world's hero, again." 😭😭 genuine agony - especially with Nya and Wyldfyre's hug afterwards - the little sob Nya let out DONT TOUCH ME - they miss him so much, that's his sister and daughter ooooughhh
JAY??? JAY!! what a pleasant surprise - oh jesus how are you traumatised with no memories - he was so terrified to have it revealed that he can use lightning my boy im so sorry - I hope he recovers from the agony of desk jobs soon <3 ALSO THE FLASHBACK WITH COLE AND JAY??? THEY'RE NERDS, THEY'RE SUCH BIG NERDS I LOVE THEM AND MISS THEM PLEASE BRING THEM BACK I MISS THEM THEY'RE BEST FRIENDS YOUR HONOUR - I'm not even gonna think about the fear/vision thing from Nya in the trials because OUCH
Cole and Geo <333 and their family <333 my babygirl Bonzle i love her so much 😔 - WHEN (if) Kai and Bonzle escape that maze thingy they BETTER come out friends - as soon as he meets her he calls her kid??? That man needs to stop being a dad to every breathing that crosses his path
Ras was as awful as always, hate him with every fibre in my being I hope he perishes /pos /pos - Jordana was GENUINELY tweaking out at the end there, can't wait to see her go insane and absolutely rock the Ninja's shit <33
SPEAKING OF ROCKING THE NINJA'S SHIT - CINDER???? godDAMN - what a ruthless little man actually genuinely I want to wipe that dumb smug smirk off of his face /pos - I enjoyed Sora trapping him in a box like a feral cat, deserved <333 (I will say, hearing his voice for the first time was... interesting 👀)
Sora is as wonderful as always, I love her so much <33 SHE WAS SO EXCITED LEARNING SPINJITZU WITH RIYU THEYRE SO CUTE YOUR HONOUR - she's so silly I love her epsecialy since all she wanted to do was hype up Arin because thats her best friend who she loves so much dont talk to me <3
I think that's it?? Just goddamn what an EXPERIENCE - I love Dragons Rising - I can't wait for part 2 <3

Kamaria’s POV
One Month Later
I never wanted this whole thing to end up a mini-circus.
But that’s basically what ended up happening in the few short months since my abduction and assault.
From the plethora of therapy appointments that both Walter and I have attended to the meetings with my legal team, I thought I was already bogged down with talking about what happened to me.
I told myself that no matter how many times I wrote it down or said it aloud, there was always going to be this piece of me that felt as though I could step right back into that nightmare but I wouldn’t allow myself to.
I had done so much work to crawl out of that hole and I’ll be damned if I put even a toe back into that deep, dark space ever again.
But the moment Walter and I stepped into the courthouse today for sentencing, I could barely hold myself together. I knew I would have to see Justin again, which wasn’t great but it wasn’t horrible. He was just another victim and if not for him, I would’ve never got the chance to escape. I might have never seen the love of my life ever again.
I don’t owe him anything, I know that. It doesn’t make it feel any better knowing he’s going to be facing jail time. And it all stemmed from his involvement with a man who turned my life upside-down.
Lloyd Hansen.
His face haunted my dreams. His words haunted Walter. And his actions changed our lives forever. I wanted him to be tortured in some far-off dungeon where no one would be able to hear him scream. I needed him to feel broken, lost, and alone.
I knew the judge wouldn’t give him the death penalty but I would have loved to have seen him get a lethal injection of Pavulon, potassium chloride, and midazolam. I fantasized about the midazolam failing to sedate him. Maybe the Pavulon kept him immobile while he felt the suffocating feeling of fluid in the lungs. And the potassium chloride without a sedative? The lava slowly tearing through his veins would be unimaginable pain.
But that daydream would never come to life. I mean, all he did was kidnap and rape me. Let’s not get started on the unfairness of the American legal system. I could be here all day long.
The uncomfortable wooden bench under me wasn’t enough to distract me from where I was. Walter in my ear with soothing words didn’t stop me from staring at the back of Lloyd’s head the entire time. My worry about what they would do to Justin didn’t stop me from feeling like he deserved to be punished. He still acted in my worst interest whether or not he thought he was doing some version of the right thing by helping me escape.
I barely pay attention until the sentencing is read. Walter grips my hand tight and I focus my energy on watching the two men stand before the judge to get their lashings. I could tell he wants to bury Lloyd, and he feels somewhat sad for Justin but he would not let it sway his judgment. I take a deep breath and listen as their fates were decided.
Justin is sentenced to 16 years with the possibility of parole for drug possession and being an accomplice to kidnapping. He cries loudly as the officers take him away.
Lloyd is sentenced to 70 years without the possibility of parole for criminal sexual conduct in the second degree, rape in the second degree, and kidnapping in the second degree. He smiles, looking back at me to wink before he is taken away.
Relief was too small of a word for what I felt. It was more like liberation, emancipation, or deliverance. The massive weight of anxiety fell off of my shoulders as if it wasn't glued to me for the past few months.
My eyes become blurry with unshed tears, I try and blink them away but they fall down my cheeks before I can stop them. Clearing my throat, I try desperately to calm myself but nothing works. I hiccup, my breathing stuttering as I fail at stopping a panic attack from starting.
Before I know it, Walter is ushering me out into a small room just outside the courtroom. His hands are on my face and he is speaking slowly and clearly, knowing my brain is catching up to the here and now.
“It’s over, Kam. We never have to see those bastards again. You’re safe with me.” He kisses my forehead and my breathing slows as if it was a button to be pressed, “Are you here with me?”
I hear his question and look up into his eyes, “I wanna go home. I want you to help me forget all about this. I just wanna be with you and not think about anything else, please?”
“Of course, Princess.” No sooner are the words out of his mouth is my hand in his and he is walking me out of the room.
We speak shortly with my attorney, or rather, Walter speaks for me as I'm still a bit in shock at everything. Once hands are shaken and goodbyes are said, we make our way out of the courtroom and out of the courthouse.
We make it to Walter’s truck and as I get in, I realize how hot he looks in a suit. As he walks around the front, he pulls off his blazer. The way his dress shirt clings to his strong back, wide chest, and defined arms has me salivating. Inside the cab, he notices me staring.
“What?” He nervously chuckles and his eyebrows shoot up.
“You clean up nice, you know? I mean, you are sexy in a suit.” I can’t believe I was so anxious this morning that I didn’t notice how the blue in his tie brought out his eyes.
A pink hue colors the tips of his ears and his neck. I just made Walter Marshall blush. As if reading my mind, he looks around before his eyes come back to me. Biting his lip, he shakes his head.
“Princess, we are not fucking in this parking structure. As much as I want to bend you over the bed of this truck and fuck you until your moans are bouncing off of the cement walls, I’d much rather have you in bed or the couch or the dining room table.”
“But Daddy, I want you.” My hand slides over my thigh and underneath the skirt of my dress.
“You think I don’t want you, babygirl?” He takes my other hand and places it over his hardening length, “I want nothing more than to be inside you. But I’m taking us home first.” He starts the truck and moves out of the spot, starting us on the road home.
“Yes, Daddy.” I concede, my fingertips touching the gusset of my panties where a wet spot is forming, “Daddy, can you drive with one hand?” I try and get him to touch me in one last hopeful effort.
Without looking away from the road, his right hand comes to rest on my thigh and gives it a good squeeze. Slowly moving between my legs, he cups my pussy and then moves a single finger up and down the front of my panties.
He presses a finger in til he feels my clit and rubs there a bit. My moans fill the cab of his truck and I lean back in my seat. Sliding his finger down, he moves my panties to the side to feel the evidence of my arousal. He removes his fingers and sucks them into his mouth before returning them to my entrance. Pressing in, he is welcomed by my wet heat. Starting a rhythm, he oscillates between steady strokes and clit stimulation.
Before long, we are close to home. During the final stretch of streets, he slows down right as I could feel my orgasm approaching.
“Fuck, you are absolutely soaked. Poor little pussy really needed some attention. Just hold it for a little longer baby. I’ll let you cum soon enough.”
“Yes, Daddy.” I moan, my brain tries to keep up but it’s just too flustered with a pre-orgasmic stupor. I don’t even notice that we make it home and are in the driveway until I feel his fingers slip free.
He reaches his hand up to my lips and I suck them dry, tasting myself on his thick fingers. He grips himself through his slacks and takes his hand away. He looks me up and down then exits the truck. Walking around the front, he keeps his eyes down, unbuttoning his cuffs and folding them up those veiny forearms. Once he reaches the passenger side, he helps me out and closes the door behind me.
With a giant paw wrapped around my hand, I am being led into the house quickly. As soon as the front door closes, Walter lifts me off my feet and wraps my legs around his waist. Walking the distance to the bedroom, he reaches a hand behind me to unzip my dress.
He puts me down in the bedroom, and my dress pools at my feet. He kneels to help me step out of the dress. My bra and panties were the next to go. I stand in front of him in a simple pair of black heels.
“Any objection to the heels staying on?” He asks, letting a new fetish be known.
“No, Daddy,” I murmur, suddenly struggling to keep myself together given that he is fully clothed and I am in my birthday suit.
“Good. Sit down and open those legs wide for Daddy, Princess.” His hands roam from my ankles to my inner thighs before he kneels between my open legs.
Tumblr media
Walter’s POV
Using my thumbs to open her outer labia delicately, I'm pleased to see her honey dripping. She was so worked up in the truck and this poor little pussy is ready to burst.
But not yet. I’m going to tease it first.
I gather some of her juices on a finger and swirl it around her clit, but I never quite make contact with the swollen bundle of nerves. I kiss her inner thighs and nip at them which always makes her groan and I am once again showered in her sex noises. She has the best fucking sounds. From her words to the sounds her body makes, it’s all beautiful.
I move my finger to circle her entrance and slip in slowly. Her hands go to her breasts, she knows I haven’t given her permission to touch me yet. She also knows that grabbing my hand will only stop my movements. But she is always allowed to touch herself while I’m taking care of her cunt.
Her tight heat envelops my finger and I move in and out of her folds. It’s torturously slow and I can feel her body trembling with the anticipation that I’ll either speed up or add another finger.
When I don’t do either, she wiggles her hips and whines. The quick slap to her clit has her remembering to use her words.
“Daddy, can you please use two fingers? Please? I need it,” The sound of her begging is music to my ears.
Instead of answering, I wet another finger in her nectar and slide it in slowly to let her adjust to the thickness. The immediate squeeze around my fingers is mind-blowing. I can feel her inner muscle on my fingertips and I massage it gently, but not enough to let her cum.
Leaning in, I circle my tongue around her clit as my finger did before. Only this time, I relent and give her clit sharp flicks with my tongue. She’s putty in my hands and that’s how I like it.
All she needs is me, and all I need is her.
I take her nub into my mouth and suck it gently, still tonguing it ever so gently. With the mix of her in my mouth and on my fingers, it’s not long before my cock is hard as a rock and pressing against the front of my boxer briefs.
I squeeze myself through my slacks and go back to eating this delicious pussy. I decide she can cum and I speed up my fingers and suck her bud harder. The moans that flow from her signal that she is close and I relish the change in the room when she finally lets go.
Curling my fingers, I continue to stroke inside her as she rides out her orgasm. Giving kitten licks to her clit as her hips wiggle, no doubt feeling very sensitive. It’s not that I don’t care, it’s just that the more sensitive she is, the harder her next orgasm will be and I wanna feel that one on my dick.
With my fingers still inside her, I stand up and unzip my slacks and pull out my painfully hard length. Pulling out of her warmth, I use that hand to stroke myself. I watch her as she watches me use her cum as lube.
Moving her up the bed, I climb in. With one hand on her stomach, I use the other to position myself at her entrance. Sliding home, I groan at the sensation of her core molding to my girth.
It is always so surprising that it never gets old. I love that first moment of being inside her. Letting her adjust to my fat dick for a moment, I pull back and push back in. I hold both of her thighs open so I have full range to fuck her.
Pushing her legs back as far as they will go without hurting her, I start a punishing rhythm. The slap of our bodies moving together is a symphony. The movement of her breasts and stomach reminds me of an ocean wave ebbing and flowing. This woman is perfect, inside and out.
Letting go of her legs, I lean down and kiss her passionately. Holding her close, I continue to fuck into her. In this position, I can stimulate not only her G-spot but her clit as well.
It’s not long until I feel her breathing hitch and feel her pussy fluttering around me. Her moans turn into sobs as her orgasm takes over her. I grind my hips into hers and help her to stretch it out.
I get back up on my knees, my hands on either side of her head. I look down into her eyes for a moment and resume kissing her cervix with my tip. She throws her head back and I take the opportunity to kiss and suck at her neck. Leaving lovebites behind isn’t usually my style.
But anything goes today. And she is gonna have to try and cover up evidence of my love. On her espresso skin, I have to suck very hard to leave a mark. Challenge accepted.
Her hands are in my sweat-slicked curls before long and we reclaim eye contact. Something in her eyes draws me in and pretty soon, I am fighting to hold off my orgasm.
Just like she always does, she comes to my rescue.
“Daddy, I need your cum inside me. Please cum for me?” Her big brown eyes pierce through me like a fucking bullet and I’m done for.
“I’m gonna cum for you, Princess. Fuck! Ugh,” With one last press forward, my balls tighten and I shoot my load into her greedy little snatch. I feel like I’m cumming for what feels like a full minute.
I stay inside her, attempting to regain control of my body and my brain. She strokes the hair at the nape of my neck and I kiss over the already bruising spots on her dark skin. When my softening cock slips from her, I sit back on my heels to look at my handiwork.
Her swollen pussy is leaking with my spend and I feel that swell of pride inside me. She’s nice and full because of me. I unconsciously rub at her stomach as I watch my jizz leak and I feel her hand on mine.
She just smiles at me as I look into her eyes. There is something behind that smile, but I don’t have enough brainpower to work through it right now. I lay next to her and pull her into my arms. I listen as her breathing evens out and she falls asleep shortly after.
Looking down at her, I wipe my thumb across her brow and she stirs a bit before settling back to sleep. I smile and try to get my brain to work, but it’s to no avail. She’s wiped me out and I couldn’t be happier.
There are a few things that would make me happier. But all in due time. I figure I’ll start small and work my way up.
Step 1: Ask her to move in with me because she already basically lives here.
Step 2: Ask her to be my wife because I already made up my mind that she is the love of my life.
Step 3: Ask her to make a baby with me because she’s so great with Faye and seeing that belly of hers swollen with my child would make me so happy.
But I will worry about all that later. We can take our time with everything. Neither of us is very keen on rushing things. But one thing is for certain.
We want to spend the rest of our lives together. That’s what matters.

Hii, hon! 💗 For today's theme can I request a mix of "Three reasons why Pumpkin wants to kill Lloyd today" (loved that one sksksk), one of them being him being a menace (thirst-trap and other stuff) while she's ovulating, please? If it includes the usual denial of feelings and teasing, even better 🥰🥰
You had it all laid out in front of you, well documented because you didn’t give a shit who could or would have come after you for getting your intent to kill in writing.
Three Reasons I Want To Kill Lloyd Hansen (Today) was emboldened and emphasized with three lines under the title, written in dark ink.
“Cruel, cruel man,” you hissed, both vexed at the picture on your phone and entirely too horny, “dead. I’m gonna kill him dead.”
The thirst-trap wasn’t even scandalous like a dick pic, or one where he was bare ass naked in front of the camera. Lloyd Hansen was cutting a fine image in a barely buttoned dress shirt with flecks of blood across his chest and a cut on his lip. His image was staring you down, erotic in nature, as he smirked at you with intent to ruin you from the picture.
Reason 1: He is 3,000 miles away and he expects you not to touch yourself because I’ve been bad
You scoffed out loud when he had given you that particular direction. You were irritated at the notion that he could have found his hands on his cock all he wanted but you couldn’t dare touch yourself.
“Ovulating, Pumpkin. We’re trying for a baby.” He wanted you to be so lust-crazed that the moment he got back, you’d want to jump his bones.
Reason 2: He sent you that damn thirst-trap without ever considering how it would affect you
Much like reason one, reason 2 was rooted in Lloyd’s ability to be both scornfully sadistic with a knack for playing games, and entirely too focused on making you lose your damn mind anytime he could.
He liked messing with you as much as you liked messing with him, the back and forth banter and aggression with each other was fuelling, and had fuelled, your passion. You loved him, you claimed you hated him but you really loved him, and you loved to get back at him by playing the same games.
Reason 3 why Lloyd Hansen is going to die today: He didn’t give me a proper goodbye
You were still pissed. You were still boiling hot with the lack of a proper goodbye that you were used to. You had been ready to ring his neck when you found out he was leaving again, and had hoped that it would be quelled by a goodbye that was suitable to tame your nerves.
Only for Lloyd Hansen to give you that stupid smirk and only half the kiss you deserved while whispering huskily in your ear for you to be a good girl. His good girl.
“That cruel bastard.” You had decided to make yourself busy like he wanted, you’d found yourself with enough free time to rummage through both of your closets to hide what he loved.
“Don’t kiss me goodbye?” You dumped his favourites into a bag and stashed them away. “Kiss your fine ass wardrobe goodbye, Hansen.”
You would show him you weren’t to be fucked with.
