On the current events in the US:
I’m wildly stressed and upset by the news rn. It’s really bad. Basically, I can’t even sum up how fucked up things are. The overturning of Roe v. Wade is fucking devastating, and frankly terrifying.
I am sending a soft and gentle and respectful bear hug to every single one of y’all out there who’s dealing with this news and its ramifications right now. I hope y’all can find some comfort and support from your irl friends and family, and if they’re not around, then I’m sending you as much support and love as I can through the interweb💕
I know myself well enough at this point in life to know that submerging my mind entirely into terrifying current events will simply cause me to spiral into an awful place, and it won’t help anyone at all. I’ve found that for my mental health, it’s better for me to spend that energy on devoting myself to the things that I love.
So, I’m going to be posting/rbing to this blog as usual after this.
Please take care of yourselves as best as you can, and continue to stay hydrated/make sure to eat properly if you are able to. Your body is still a machine even when your mind is in chaos, and it still needs its regular maintenance😤🛠
And again, I am sending each and every single one of you so much love❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

*For Atlas Shrugged, I did enjoy reading it as a book but I didn’t agree with its values; with what the author (Ayn Rand) was trying to convey with her philosophy of objectivism. I did enjoy reading Anthem by her, but maybe I was too young to fully comprehend the intention of the story. I will say though that although I believe being selfish is good for one’s mental health, I do think there should be a limit to it. There’s such a thing as being too selfish (or maybe that’s just me). The type of people (aka Donald Trump) that like “Atlas Shrugged” probably says something about the book itself. But that could also just be me. In summary, this book made me think a lot of things and I would recommend trying it out just as a book, but I also wouldn’t recommend it because of what’s inside the book. Two very contradictory statements but take it as you will.
ALSO IF YOU WANT TO ASK ME WHY I GAVE A BOOK HEARTS OR WHY I DIDN’T DON’T BE AFRAID TO ASK SORRY FOR THE ALL CAPS

On this sad day of Roe v Wade being overturned, I encourage all my fellow ovary-havers to take a peaceful walk in a beautiful garden of Queen Ann's lace, mugwort, cohosh, cinnamon, & cotton root 🍃✨
Knowledge is power. Tend your gardens.
update: of course please do your own research on these herbs because of possible allergies & consuming some in high quantities can be harmful! Be safe ❤️

You can't identify your way out of oppression. So you're still a woman no matter what you identify as.
Ooh it’s been a while since random terf comment. Literally hilarious you think anyone IDs as trans for any other reason besides self fulfillment, but especially funny you think anyone thinks being trans will make you less oppressed somehow.
Also, no. If you saw me on the street you wouldn’t know the difference. And if I identified as a woman with the way I look, you’d call me a faggot and not a real woman. I know you have impossibly high standards for womanhood given that you’re a terf, and tell me, who do those standards benefit? Because it’s not you or any other woman out there. Your obsession with genitals is why literal children are forced to expose their privates to adults in places like Florida just to play sports. Tell me, does that protect the little girls from anything? Does rampant paranoia about looking too “mannish” do anything but make other women feel like shit?
You can’t persecute your way out of your own oppression, random terf. Freedom and liberation isn’t about sending random anons to people you think are beneath you. It’s about solidarity. You’re doing the work of the oppressor for them. You think if you can shove enough “freaks” under the bus you’ll get your freedom, but they’ll just turn around and do it to you next. Did you notice that after they started coming for trans peoples bodily autonomy the US government overturned roe v wade? You think that’s a crazy coincidence?
You’re right, in a sense, that to some people I’m still a woman no matter what I identify as. And they’re the people who will come for both of us. They’re not going to praise you for making their goal of subjugation easier, they’re going to send you right back to the 50s with everyone else.
Your ideology is a tool of fascism. If you actually cared about oppression, you wouldn’t be passing it on. Now I don’t know if you are any kind of LGB random anon, but I think this graphic will make sense regardless. Get well soon ❤️

PRAISE THE LORD GOD ABOVE!!!!
This is a huge turning point, but the work still isn’t done. Keep praying, support pregnancy centers, and stay vigilant as there will no doubt be protesting.
But celebrate anyway, because something amazing just happened. I don’t really have the words to describe it.
Praise God! ❤️

Hey so the recent Roe v Wade overturn has rlly taken a toll on my mental health, and I wanted to know if I could have some headcanons on how the MHA boys would help y/n through having their right to abortion revoked😞 If you don’t want anything political on your page I completely understand. Have a good day❤️
I'm not afraid to admit the fact that everything happening right now is devastating. It's such a serious matter and personally, I feel romanticizing it would be inappropriate. Instead, here's something that while yes, touches the subject, avoids turning this extremely real situation into something of fantasy ~ 💚
1A Boys HC : When You Don't Want A Baby (Fluff/Implied Smut)
Tumblr media
Izuku
He planned on letting you decide if or when you ever wanted to have a baby, so he didn't ever really bring it up unless you did. He didn't want to make you feel like he was ever pushing for it.
Though the one time the conversation came up, he did say that he'd be willing to start a family with you, but that he also was ok if it was just the two of you because as long as he has you, he's happy.
He'd definitely do his research on birth controls. For you and him. When you said you didn't want a baby for the time, he wanted to be sure he honored your choice by keeping bedroom activities safe. Between your birth control, his birth control, and condoms, let's just say that you guys are pretty safe from having a baby anytime soon.
Tumblr media
Bakugo
Kids annoy the shit out of him typically so let's just say he isn't exactly pushing you into having a baby anytime soon. If it was your idea he might, but since at least for the time being you both seem to be on the same page he doesn't tend to think or talk about it.
He may have asked you once, just because he wanted to be sure this was what you wanted and not just because he always seemed to not like the idea (Though he'd say it in a less gentle, caring way). Once you confirmed you simply didn't want kids you both moved on from the subject.
Since it felt like this might be a permanent decision for you both, you brought up the idea of getting your tubes tied. Something that'll keep it from happening by accident, but also something reversible, on the very off chance you eventually change your mind. Whether you do or not, he's gonna back you up the whole way.
Tumblr media
Shoto
After seeing what his dad did and how screwed up most of his kids came out, he would be weary about having kids to begin with, so you saying that you don't want any is a relief to him. He wouldn't want to give that man grandchildren or risk not being able to provide a normal childhood because of his own trauma.
He asked you about it a fairly short ways into your relationship. It was something he thought was important to ask, and he didn't want to risk getting deep into a relationship only to find you wanted like 10 kids. He was very happy the two of you could agree to maybe not have kids.
Shoto would ask you about your thoughts on him getting a vasectomy. He doesn't wanna risk it, and he feels it'd just be easier for him to take away the chance of him getting you pregnant all together. And it'd be a one time thing instead of you constantly getting birth control.
Tumblr media
Kirishima
He thinks having a kid would be cool. Be able to raise a little human with you and stuff, but he isn't going to let it change anything when he finds out you don't really want that. He's still gonna love you regardless, and respect your decision.
He teased you about letting him pop a baby in you a few times until you told him it wasn't something you really wanted. He very quickly apologized. He didn't mean to make you uncomfortable with the jokes, but he definitely wants to do better to be more aware of the topic in the future. Anytime someone asks if you two will be having a little one, he respectfully says the two of you have decided against it.
He's definitely been really doing his research on the new discoveries in masculine birth controls. He knows your on it and he wants to feel like he's doing his part in respecting your choice.
Tumblr media
Denki
He's a bit of a deviant as is, so he's totally chill not making a baby anytime soon. Means he gets you to himself more often ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). In all seriousness, he's just chilling knowing he doesn't go on a 9 month break from fun times with you.
He was kinda surprised weirdly enough when you told him. He kinda always just assumed that would be the next step for you guys so he hadn't really thought much of it. So when you tell him you'd rather not, he asks you why you felt that way. Not to change your mind, he's genuinely curious.
May as well own stock in condoms. He practically has a collection. He likes ones that have cool colors an stuff because he thinks it makes things interesting. Making safety fun.
Tumblr media
Iida
Let's be honest, he comes from a traditional family. He sorta wanted kids. Even so he understands and supports the fact that it would be your body carrying the baby, and that it would be something you'd have to do together. He's not gonna make you go through any of that for something you don't really want.
He was a bit disappointed when you told him, but he didn't make it a pity party. He asked a few logically questions like whether this was a permanently never wanted kids or a not now, or if you'd want to go about it in a different way that wouldn't hinder your body such as adoption or fostering. He wants to know exactly the kind of future you want so he can plan it with you.
Another one who'd lean towards a vasectomy. Let's be honest this man know what he likes in bed and one of those things would be a bit risky otherwise. Plus, if you ever changed your mind, it's reversible so he can simply adjust accordingly for whatever you want or need of him.

I would just like to make a statement about todays ruling, please feel free to skip reading if any of this is triggering to you!
Todays ruling absolutely disgusts me. This doesn’t end abortion, it ends safe access to abortion. Abortion is HEALTHCARE and HEALTHCARE IS A HUMAN RIGHT. Women are having our rights taken away one by one. I am scared for the future we live in. And I am so sorry if you live in a state (like myself) where your rights are very much in jeopardy.
I just want to make this very very clear:
THIS BLOG IS PRO-CHOICE PRO-WOMEN AND PRO-GETTING WHITE MEN AWAY FROM CONTROLLING WOMENS BODIES.
If you are against abortion or are okay with them overturning Roe v Wade, please unfollow and block me so I never have to interact with you again. I do not want anyone who thinks they have a right to control my body or choices on my page.
Currently one of my best friends lives in California, where birth control and abortion should remain completely legal. She told me her couch is open to anyone who may need it if they need help accessing healthcare they desperately need.
Starting next year her and I will be living together out there. We will have a spare bedroom with your name on it and will do anything we can to help you. We will take you to and from wherever you need to go, take care of you, and make sure you are safe while having anything you need. You have a safe place with us, with me, and on this blog.
PLEASE reach out if you need someone to talk to. My inbox and messages are always open if you need me, for any reason any time of day. I am here for you all, and I know we can get through this. We MUST not give up.
I love you all, please stay safe and take care of yourselves today ❤️

jesus christ. what have i woken up to this morning. this is truly appalling. the overturning of roe v. wade is a gross injustice to the people of america. and i don’t just mean people who have uteruses, i mean to everyone. these stupid pro life fucks don’t understand what they’ve given precedent to. a MAJOR case regarding privacy and the privacy over your own body was just overturned. do they not understand how regardless of how they feel about abortion THIS IS NOT OKAY???
roe was won regarding our 4th amendment right to privacy. which, was applied to the states in mapp v. ohio. meaning that EVERYONE in the US had that right to privacy, and privacy isn’t decided on a state by state basis. the 4th amendment from that point on was a right granted nationwide. - with the overturning of roe, now our privacy is once again being decided on a state by state basis. (this gives standing to overturn even more privacy related SCOTUS cases)
now riddle me FUCKING THIS. tell me, how, it makes ANY sense that conservatives think one constitutional amendment deserves to be controlled on a state-by-state basis, (nonetheless an extremely important amendment, we all deserve privacy) BUT think that the second amendment should just be freely applied nationwide no restrictions. can these dumb asses not see how STUPID they sound. you can’t have it both ways. either amendments are applied nationally or it’s up to the states. you cant fucking pick and choose.
anyways- in regards to simply just abortion. this is scary this is scary for everyone who is able to bare children in the US. and will obviously disproportionately effect those with less financial means. not everyone is going to be able to, at the drop of a dime, travel states away for an abortion. not everyone is going to have that luxury and this will result with deadly consequences. overturning roe won’t stop abortions, only safe ones. but or course- no stupid ass “pro-lifer” is actually pro life. they’re pro birth. they don’t give a fuck about the person carrying the child- they don’t give a fuck about the health risks of pregnancy, or the toll it takes on a person, they don’t even care about the child. conservatives are nothing but fucking hypocrites - and i’m genuinely seething mad over this.
please, everyone, take care of yourselves. i know this is devastating news for a lot of us. and i’m truly sorry. please try your best to enjoy your friday, and the rest of your weekend, i know it’s hard ❤️

Inside Brazil's Abortion Pill Black Market
In a country where one woman dies every two days from a botched abortion, the internet is sometimes the only option.
Tumblr media
Under a run-of-the-mill news clip posted on YouTube in 2012 covering Brazil’s online black market of abortion pills, something strange has happened in the comments section. Even though the video is a decade old, the comments—now totaling more than 68,000—continue to pile up every day.
Nearly all the new comments appear to be from female users with phone numbers in their usernames. Although it’s not entirely clear who these users are, they seem to be promoting mysterious individuals with names like Alice and Maísa who can provide “Cyto.”
“I was caught in a very bad time. I had no financial or psychological stability, so I decided that I didn’t want to carry on with this pregnancy, and ALICE helped me ❤️ she was very good to me❤️,” one wrote.
All of these comments are, in reality, advertising extralegal businesses that sell Cytotec, the trade name of misoprostol—an “essential medicine,” according to the World Health Organization, that can treat ulcers, induce labor, and safely terminate pregnancies. Misoprostol is one half of what’s commonly referred to as the abortion pill. (The other half, mifepristone, is not yet sold in Brazil, though misoprostol can still be used on its own with only slightly lower efficacy.)
For decades, misoprostol has been widely sold in Brazil—where abortion is criminalized—as an abortion pill, finding its way to consumers online and on the streets through basic but effective marketing strategies. Yet since it is illegal to buy and sell these pills, the market for them is unregulated, and Brazilians seeking misoprostol are forced to navigate serious legal and medical risks.
Since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, ending the federal right to abortion, demand for abortion pills—including in states where the procedure is now banned—is already on the rise. In the United States, mailing these pills has been cited by the anti-abortion lobby as the next frontier in the fight to ban abortion completely. What’s been happening for decades in Brazil—another major Western democracy with serious abortion restrictions—may offer some clues as to what lies ahead for the United States.

i’ve tried a couple times to write out some things about roe v wade being overturned, but there is too much i want to say and i cannot find the wording. the simplest thing i can say to express what i’m feeling is that the supreme court and other governmental officials do not give a fuck about human lives or human rights. it is deeply enraging and upsetting to see roe v wade be overturned.
i will continue to reblog posts i see that i agree with and resources for people being impacted by roe v wade to use that i see. to anyone being directly impacted (which will be A LOT of people), my heart goes out to you. i love you.
feel free to send me asks or messages.

KOOKIE I HAD THE BEST DAY TODSY WTF?!
OK FIRST I HAD MY FIRST FULL PERIOD WITH MY SOCIAL STUDIES TEACHER
OMG HE’S SO GIRLBOSS 😤😤😤😤😤 HES A FEMINIST, ANTI RACIST, ANTI SEXIST, ANTI HOMOHOBIC, ANTI MISOGYNY 🤧🤧🤧🤧 NOT TO MENTION HE HAS A PRIDE FLAG WITH ALL THE COLORS AND A BADASS SNAKE TAT 🤭🤭 🫶🏽
He’s Asian American, or half Filipino and half American. AND HE DOESNT SUGARCOAT HOW BAD AMERICA IS LIKE TWO MINUTES AFTER WE WALKED IN HE STRAIGJT UP SAID “WE STOLE THIS LAND FROM NATIVE AMERICANS AND I WILL NEVER FORGIVE AMERICA FOR THAT.” LIKE HELLO?! YES STAN!!!
He’s so SOCIALLY AWARE about cultural incompetence and appropriation!!! He appreciates black brown and Asian communities so fucking much and it’s like, yes!! FINALLY!! He also has so many Roe v Wade posters BECAUSE HE BELIEVES ABORTION IS A HUMAN FUCKING RIGHT‼️‼️‼️‼️ he talked about how rock and roll is literally from Black women, a church sister moved really fast on her guitar and BAM ROCK AND ROLL and he outright admitted that white people appropriated the heck out of it and made it a “white thing” 😨
Since he’s half Filipino, he has this fish hook (?) necklace and tattoo because it honors his leadership. And he said when people ask him “omg u have a Maui necklace” he feels bad because his culture is reduced to a cartoon character!!! And I made so many connections with him in terms of cultural disrespect. I said that it’s sort of like jasmine bc I said “when I complain that there’s no south Asian representation in media someone and their mother has to tell me ‘what about jasmine/Aladdin’ these media are never culturally accurate. Bc aladddin is literally made of Turk, Desi, and Arabic culture mixed in to one to give white people “ a taste of south Asians 😜😍” and I said that and he was like “RIGHT, ITS SO FRUSTRATING BEING REDUCED TO SOMETHING THATS NOT CULTURALLY ACCURATE.” AND I WAS LIKE?! HELLO HE’S SO AWARE ABOUT CURRENT MEDIA LIKE MY OLD HISTORY TEACHER COULD NEVER 😩
NEXT WE WERE READING THESE POEMS AND THE TOPIC KF MISOGNy and you wanna know what he told the boys?!
“All you little boys here, if you wanna be a REAL man in the future then being a REAL man is not putting down women. Women have to right to speak up and put you in your place if you’re being rude, which men have a long history of doing. If you ever disrespect a woman gouge your eyes out and be ashamed. I don’t wanna see that Andrew Tate behavior in my classroom. I also don’t thing your mothers will be happy you spend your life on sexism and misogyny, so If you don’t wanna explain your actions to your own mother, i demand you change your mentality if you haven’t already.”
LIKE HELLO?! HE KNOWS ABOUT ANDREW TATE?! I JUST KNOW HE WOULD EAT UP THAT H0E IN SECONDS
He’s my new fav teacher no questions asked.
Also my playlist KEPT PLAYING MY FAVORITE SONGS?! Like it must be that I followed you and realized that your so amazing that I got all this good karma 🥵🥵🥵

it’s been a shitty few weeks decades in the US (today it was revealed that trump literally tried to join the Jan 6 insurrection to the point where he grabbed the steering wheel away from agents who were telling him that he couldn't, and honestly, life imitates and outdoes art every time), and a bunch of you have reached out to tell me that it's been helping to read my abortion and political fics. It's hard for me to put into words how meaningful that is for me, and how that sense of community has eased my heart. I'll be 90yo someday and telling ppl about how a reader told me, on the day that Roe v Wade was overturned, that my fic helped. Or that reading about Harry and Draco fighting a fictional tr*mp was keeping them going, or that Harry's anarchist reading was giving them insights into the current moment. So THANK YOU for reading and commenting about it, but also -- I think it's a good reminder for us all that we should take solace in art (both consuming and creating) and community. That's where we'll find our power, every time. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

They are not going after contraception and same sex marriage. Also it just took the law out of the federal level and gave it to the states. if your state does not have legal abortion of to one that does. the ones that will are actually making it easier to get one. You make it sound like it is taken away all together and it is not. there are sates that will have the legal option to have one. also i think it is up to the woman to choose what to do with their body but i wanted to put out there what it is saying in the ruling.
Here is exactly what I said in regards to this repost:
"For those of you that don’t know, this is what’s currently happening here in the United States. It’s possible they’ll go after contraception and same sex marriage next.
Friendly reminder that you cannot eliminate abortion. You can only eliminate SAFE abortion.
It’s okay to be angry and to be upset. I am too. My dms and asks are open to anyone who needs a safe space to vent ❤️"
I never said EVERYTHING was 100% taken away. I said it was possible for the Supreme Court to go after contraception, specifically birth control, and same sex marriage/relationships. And since you haven't done the research, the reason why I said this is because Justice Clarence Thomas said that the Supreme Court “should reconsider all of this Court’s substantive due process precedents, including Griswold, Lawrence, and Obergefell” and if you don't know: Groswold = contraceptives; Lawrence = same sex relationships; Obergefell = same sex marriage. You can read about it here, or here, or even here.
The current overturning of Roe v Wade does NOT include what I just listed above - that is exclusive to abortion. But the talk has begun about birth control and same sex relationships/marriage. That was my point. Whether birth control and same sex relationships/marriage will actually be overturned, idk. But the talk is terrifying.
And you suggesting that people who want abortions should just go to another state is ignorant. Many people do not have the funds or time to just pack their things and take a roadtrip, should that even be legal.
