Tags: Explicit, age gap because you know what I'm about (Frankie is your mom’s boyfriend, he is in his 40s, you are in your mid-20s)
A/N: Yea….so this is dedicated to @intheorangebedroom who inspired this entire idea and to @whatsnewalycat whose beautiful brain and writing inspired me as well. Thank you to @astroboots for cheering me on, to @bageldaddy for the super in depth beta and to @the-ginger-hedge-witch who soothed by "does this hit" worries — your minds are golden and I am so happy you support this utter filth. Ily ❤️
He thought that dating someone his own age would ground him, steady him. Not that he ever paid much attention to the age of the women he dated, but he thought with someone who had their own shit figured out, he might be inspired to do the same.
Unmoored and unattached since he joined the army in his twenties, he was pushing forty now and craved some kind of routine. Living alone gave him too much time for thinking, too many hours spent inside his own head. He knew that living like that for too long could lead to bad decisions and thought he might hold himself to a higher standard when he saw how they held themselves to one.
He met her at a bar – the most cliche of meeting places, but for good reason. She was out with friends after work and from the start, he was attracted to the way she smiled with her whole mouth. Everything about her seemed sensuous and fun, so inviting that he found himself drawn in and when he asked if he could take the seat next to her, he matched her smile with one of his own.
When she invited him home that night, he buried himself deep while feasting on that generous mouth.
He stayed that night, and then one night became twice a week, became three – and before he knew it, his lease was up on his apartment and he moved in. It was nice to come home to someone after work. To know that someone was there, wondering how his day went. To have a warm body curled up next to him in bed.
She was so independent, so driven. A corporate job that required her to dress in slippery blouses and pretty skirts with heels; the same he loved to strip from her when she came home all stressed out the way she did sometimes. And she had a kid – a daughter – already in college somewhere on the east coast, but that didn’t bother him. Dating in his forties meant people already had their own histories, and he was no exception.
Sometimes after she fell asleep and he had time alone to think, he still felt something that itched beneath his skin. Something that pulled at him from within, something that remained unsettled. He told himself that it was just an adjustment period after so many years of being unattached, and shoved those feelings deep down inside of him, determined to ignore them until he taught himself a new way to live.
Her breathing deep and steady beside him, he told himself that she was good for him.
That was what counted.
He was all for it when she told him her daughter was coming home to stay the summer between semesters. He liked the idea of having another person in the house – another distraction, another responsibility to take him out of his own head.
He worked odd hours, and during his off days, Frankie took up the task of preparing her daughter’s old room. Light pink walls, a creamy bedspread dotted with delicate flowers: his mind supplied an automatic image of the little girl that lined the hallway in frames. He knew she was older than that now, but the way her mom talked about her, he couldn’t help imagining a little kid.
Tasked with picking her up from the airport the day she arrived, he had just stepped out of the shower when he heard the doorbell. Frowning, he tugged a shirt over his damp curls, and opened the door.
Jesus Christ. Speechless, he stared at the prettiest woman he’d ever seen.
“Sorry I didn’t call,” you apologized, tugging a heavy bag higher up on your shoulder. “I got in early and thought an Uber would be faster.”
He stood there for a moment, just staring, his mouth slightly parted in confusion. And then he saw it: the shape of your eyes, the curve of your lush mouth. The resemblance stamped across your delicate features.
“I couldn’t find my key.” You stood there, looking uneasy on your own doorstep. “You must be Frankie. Or is it Francisco? My mom said you’d be here. It’s nice to meet you.”
At the rounded sound of his full name coming from your mouth, his gaze snapped back to meet your eyes while you hung there, clearly waiting for him to say something. His body was slow to catch up with his brain, the little girl his mind supplied was gone, replaced by the vision that stood in front of him. Still young and fresh-faced, but grown nonetheless and so, so fucking beautiful.
When you gestured towards the house behind him, he finally shook himself from the initial shock.
“Shit,” he apologized, stepping back out of your way. “Yea, it’s Frankie. Nice to meet you.” You gave him a half smile, and when you stepped inside, he reached for your bag. “Here, let me grab that.”
His hand dragging through his curls, he stood in the entryway and watched you make yourself at home: your shoes immediately kicked off on the doormat, your jacket hung neatly next to his own like it had always belonged there.
“Do you know when my mom gets home?”
He cleared his throat, trying not to stare at the length of your legs underneath the hem of your shorts. “Uh, she said probably around six? That’s when she usually gets home.”
You nodded, holding your hand out for your bag and for a split second, he wondered if he should bring it upstairs for you. It would be the polite thing to do, but the idea of entering your room now felt like overstepping. You weren’t a kid, you didn’t need him like that. The boundaries had suddenly blurred and shifted, and he whisked away the image of you settling into your bedroom just as fast as it popped into his head.
When you grabbed the bag from him, he felt relief.
It was easy to avoid you for the afternoon while you got settled. Instead, he mowed the lawn, prepared dinner, all the while with his ears attuned to the sound of you walking around above him. He felt on edge, anxious. The excitement he thought he would feel with someone else in the house had turned into unease.
He made himself an outsider, even more so when your mom came home. Not wanting to intrude on your time together, he stayed in the kitchen to cook dinner for the two of you and delivered it to the living room, placing your plates on the coffee table.
“Thank you, baby, that’s so nice.” Your mother scooted forward, tilting her chin up towards him in a silent request for a kiss.
Granting it to her, he felt her familiar hold slip around the back of his neck to keep him in place for a moment, keenly aware of the way you were right there. For a split second while his lips were still on hers, he glanced up at you and it was clear that he caught you watching by the way you hastily looked away the second he met your eyes.
He fucked her hard that night, his hand over her mouth so you wouldn’t hear.
She was gone in the morning when he made his way downstairs, and he was pleasantly surprised to find coffee already in the pot.
“I made extra,” you said, from your perch on the chair at the table. Sleep shorts high on your thighs, an oversized tee shirt covering your top half. The way it engulfed you made you look younger than you were.
He looked away, busying himself with pouring a cup.
“I drink a lot, so I made a lot,” you explained with shy self-deprecation.
“Sounds good to me,” he replied, sitting down at the table. “Got any plans for today? Or for the summer, I guess?”
Wading the tentative waters of getting to know someone, he watched your fingers play with the edge of the paper.
“Just relax for a bit, I think? Catch up with some old friends? No plan really. I just didn’t want to hang out on a deserted campus.”
He nodded. “Makes sense.”
And so began the morning routine you would both share for the next few weeks. Hesitant and quiet around each other in the beginning, sliding into something normal fairly fast. Your mother was early to rise and early to bed, but he had never been and neither were you.
He joined you in the late morning at the kitchen table, the curve of your soft cheek highlighted in the slant of light through the window. On the couch at night, a different kind of illumination from the light of the TV, yet hitting your cheek just the same. Your things scattered around the living room, your toothbrush next to his in the bathroom, your clothes mixed with his in the wash.
Your proximity was what he blamed for the constant thoughts he had about you.
Every morning he admired how rumpled you looked, how sleepy and soft and inviting. It was endearing, but soon other thoughts edged out the more innocent ones: thoughts about your legs wrapped around his waist, your slender fingers wrapped around something other than a coffee cup.
The want he felt for you pooled in various places inside him: his brain, his chest, between his thighs. It spilled down the shower drain and spilled hot across his stomach.
It flooded your mother’s mouth, and she was none the wiser.
Afterwards, she tucked her face into the meat of his shoulder, pressing a kiss against the skin there. Sated and content, she curled herself around him. “Let’s do something this weekend together. Actually make use of that pool we have for once.”
A barbecue. She’d been talking about having one for a while.
“We’ve been working so hard. I feel like I barely even see you, honey.”
Something akin to guilt tugged at him, thinking of the shifts he had been picking up in an effort to avoid you. Your eyes, your smile, your stupid sleep shorts.
He hummed his agreement and she kissed him in thanks, her breaths eventually evening out as she fell asleep.
Frankie lay awake, the image of your closed bedroom door stuck in his mind.
“Jesus Christ,” you murmured as you watched Frankie climb out of the pool.
Broad, bare shoulders, tanned swathes of skin, cute little dimples just above his ass. Water ran down over his tanned skin, the thin material of his swim shorts stuck to his ass and when he turned around to grab a towel off a nearby chair, you were glad for your sunglasses.
Fuck me.
The material of his shorts molded to every inch of his thick cock, the shape clearly outlined. Oblivious, he ran the towel over his curls, over his shoulders and arms, down his torso – and when his hand gingerly pulled the material away from his crotch, you memorized the swirl of dark hair that surrounded his navel and led down.
“Can you help me with the grill, honey?”
Your mom’s voice pulled your attention away from him.
Her boyfriend, you reminded yourself. Frankie was her boyfriend.
“Yea,” he called back, chucking his towel on the chair. “Be right there. Let me put a shirt on.”
The shirt he shrugged over his head was the same one you folded that morning. The material was threadbare and super soft, the muscles of his back shifting underneath the thin fabric as he sauntered over to the grill. You knew the way it felt in your hands, and at the thought of his body heat through the material, you pressed your thighs together.
The afternoon sun bathed you in warmth, but it was nothing compared to the heat that pooled inside your bottoms as you continued to watch him from your recline by the pool. His brown curls glinted in the sun, his throat bobbing with a swallow when your mother brought him a beer.
When his eyes flashed over to you, you finally looked away.
You saw those deep, doleful brown eyes in your sleep.
You felt them on you all the time: in the dark living room during family movie time, your mother curled up against his side. In the kitchen after dinner, when you loaded the dishwasher while he put away the food. In the mornings, when you pretended to read the paper while he snuck hooded peeks at you and drank you in.
Startled by his handsomeness from the very first time you laid eyes on him, your crush only grew with every passing day spent in his company. He was so thoughtful, so attentive and kind, but it was something else buried within his gaze that drew you in.
A barely restrained want that shone clear on his face every time he looked at you. A need simmering under the surface, you saw the way he fought it.
You thought about him constantly: imagined him crowding you against the counter in the kitchen, saw him pulling back the shower curtain to join you, pretended your fingers were his in your bed at night.
Born out of your own need, you pushed him. Played with the limits of his self control, desperate for him to make a move. No action overt enough to be blatant, the way he stared at you made you feel confident, bold. The want pouring off his skin when you hung around him was obvious and thick, filling the space between the two of you until he inevitably excused himself.
When it’s time to eat, you take a seat next to him on the bench, your thigh pressed hot against his. You waited for him to pull away, but he never did and the intimate sensation of the hair on his leg brushing against your own smoother skin made it hard to eat, though you missed it when he got up.
Your mother, one margarita too many and giggly and loose, pulled him into a dance under the stars that had just begun to come out. He humored her, wrapping his arms around her waist to hold her close, smiling at every murmured secret she slipped into his ear.
You watched the scene unfold right in front of you with a fond, humoring expression, and his eyes kept finding yours, flashing in the darkness.
You pretended nonchalance, but the entire time, you wanted.
He took her to bed while you cleaned up the kitchen.
You knew he fucked her – you heard it sometimes. They tried to be quiet for your sake but sometimes a whimper would slip down the hall, the deep reverberation of a groan in the dark.
Climbing into bed that night, your mind lingered on the image of his wet swim trunks. The dark swirl of hair, the heft in the outline.
You wondered what he fucked like with a cock like that.
“Something’s going on in the Arizona market,” your mom explained, tossing items into her suitcase. A silk blouse spilled over the side, and you tucked it back in with the rest. “I’ll be gone through Thursday, maybe Friday? Hopefully not the weekend, but I’ll let you know.”
“Do you need a ride to the airport?”
Smiling at you, she stepped forward and cupped your cheek with her hand for a moment. “That’s sweet, honey, but I’m good. Frankie’s got it.”
Apprehension swirled with anticipation, the joint feelings settled low in your gut. You’d been alone with him before, but never for this long. Never truly alone, for days on end.
The man himself poked his head around the corner of the doorway, the width of his shoulders filling out the frame. He glanced at you, and then his watch. “You about ready, baby?”
She bustled around the room, tossing things here and there onto the bed and he looked at you again, a slight frown pulling between his brows.
His expression gave something akin to frustration, and for a split second, you thought it was because of the time your mom was taking. When you felt his dark eyes drop down the length of your body involuntarily and then back up again, you turned away with a small smile, knowing it to be something else.
For the first couple days, he stayed away from the house as much as he could. Kept his distance until he ran out of errands, until he drove down the same stretch of road too many times. He didn’t trust himself to be alone with you, and he hated himself for it.
Self loathing creeped in every time he thought about the way his jeans tightened even thinking of you alone in the house. His girlfriend’s fucking daughter, half his age. The whole thing was fucked up.
And yet, he couldn’t stop.
He felt bad, thinking of you suddenly being all alone after spending so much time with people around, but he told himself that you probably loved having the space to yourself.
He came in the shower that morning to the thought of your mouth wrapped around the base of his cock, and he was unable to look you in the eye when he saw you in the kitchen afterward. Your hopeful expression lingered in his mind all day as he stretched out the hours.
The sky turned from light blue to dark, and he finally caved. He couldn’t stay away forever.
The house was quiet when he walked in, tossing his keys on the entryway table. He crept around, looking for any sign of your presence, until he heard the shower running upstairs. Light spilled down the staircase, and heading into the kitchen, he tried to push down the thoughts running rampant in his head.
He drank a glass of water, listening.
The shower turning off (your naked body, damp and warm), your footsteps padding down the hall (that smooth skin, hidden under your towel), your bedroom door shutting (the towel dropping onto your floor).
He stayed downstairs, turning the TV on to distract himself, the air in the house charged with a magnetic pull from your room. He waited until there had been nothing but silence for the better part of a half hour, then dared to venture upstairs.
He’d just say goodnight, that’s all. Just so you knew you weren’t alone.
His knuckles rapped against your door, and he pushed it open when he heard you say come in.
“Hey,” you greeted him, slight surprise on your face. Stretched out in bed, the inviting cloud of your comforter was plush underneath your body. You paused the movie you were watching, and sat up on your elbows. “Haven’t seen you in a couple days.”
“Yea,” he replied, leaning against the frame of your door. His eyes followed a slow path up your bare legs.
“Work been crazy or something?” you asked.
“Something like that, yea,” he answered. His hand stayed on the knob of your door, an anchor that kept him from crossing a line. “I actually just stopped by to say goodnight. I’m gonna turn in.”
“Already?” you teased. “It’s pretty early, isn’t it? Aren’t you gonna live it up while my mom is gone?”
He huffed a laugh, shaking his head. “I’ve lived it up enough. I’m an old man, remember? We don’t do that kind of stuff.”
“Forty-five is hardly an old man,” you scolded with a smile. “You wanna watch a movie instead?”
You patted the bed next to you, and his face sobered. You didn’t see it, instead reaching for the lotion on your bedside table to work some into your hands and the image of you jerking his cock with that same lotion flashed across his mind. He frowned.
“In here?”
You shrugged, laying back down. “I mean, I’m already all set up in here…”
You left the offer hanging, and even though he knew - he fucking knew he shouldn’t - he found himself nodding.
You looked surprised at his answer for a split second, and then pleased.
“Let me go get changed.”
He walked down the hall towards his room, scolding himself the entire time. Don’t do this, don’t do this, don’t go back into that fucking room. Don’t think about how smooth her skin is and how much you want to kiss her.  Don’t think about how her sheets smell like her, don’t think about how much you want to lick her cunt.
The thoughts ran on a loop as he peeled off his work clothes.
They echoed in his head as he pulled on his sweats.
They followed him out of his bedroom and all the way down the hall, stopping at your doorway.
You turned your head, looking at him expectantly, looking so fucking lush and innocent, so eager to have him join you.
He swallowed hard, mouth watering and left his guilt in the hallway, joining you in bed.
Pretending to ignore the heavy blanket of tension pulsing between your bodies, you kept your eyes fixed on the screen.
Stretched out next to you, he kept a respectable distance, but you felt the heat that poured off of his skin. He looked so large in your bed, so much like a man. His long limbs splayed out over your girlish comforter, his masculine scent filled the space and when he crossed his arms, you admired the way the hem of his sleeve stretched around his bicep.
Lightheaded and trembling with a heady want that ached between your thighs, you made it through the whole movie – until the room descended into darkness, until the credits rolled and the screen went black
Until it was just the two of you sitting side by side in the dark.
The sheets rustled when you rolled onto your side to face him.
“What did you think?” you asked quietly.
He looked down at you from his slouch on the bed, and your fingers twitched with the need to smooth away the crease that rested permanently between his brows. You would think he was mad if not for his eyes: those always look conflicted more than anything. Constant turmoil, roiling deep within the dark depths.
Not answering, he stared down at you for a long moment before shrugging.
“Okay, I guess. Well, have a good night.”
He then started to slide off the bed.
Disappointment flooded your chest, the tension that you’d been feeling for the last two hours releasing restlessly through your limbs. Already making plans to get your vibrator from your side table to use while burying your face into the sheets he was just sitting on, he stilled.
Your eyes fixed on his broad back, you could almost see the decision being made and he quickly turned before he could convince himself to stop.
Bending down, he kissed you.
It was consuming. The brush of his mustache, the taste of his mouth, the weight of his solid body as he pushed you into the bedding, draping it over yours. His tongue slipped into your mouth to slide against your own, and he swallowed the soft sound that caught in the back of your throat. Pushing himself into the cradle between your thighs, he forced them open wider as he deepened the kiss, and his dry, calloused hand slid underneath the hem of your shirt, wrapping around your hip.
You knew you should push him away, but your hands only dragged him closer, grabbing everything you could touch: the slip of his curls, the curve of his whiskered jaw, the rounds of his broad shoulders. You dug your fingertips into his sides as he ground his hips against yours and your knees hitched higher around his torso.
His hand wrapped around the top of your shin, pushing down to hold you in place.
“Jesus,” he breathed into your mouth between kisses, his fingers tightening in their hold before sliding down to touch everything he can: the meat of your hips, his big hand cupping your ass with a greedy squeeze. Need rolled off of him in waves, his touch betraying just how long he had thought about this and his mouth shifted down to devour the long line of your neck, tasting the sweet hollow of your throat.
Your pulse beat fast under his tongue, speeding up when he let out a groan against the sensitive skin.
“Take – take this off–” he sat back on his ankles, his hands fumbling with your shirt.
As soon as you pulled it over your head, his mouth latched onto your nipple. His tongue swirled around it, sliding over the peaked bud with a suck. His beard scraped across your sensitive skin, leaving a wet path that glistened over the plane of your chest as he dragged his mouth to your other breast and his heavy hand reached down to cup you wholly over your sleep shorts.
His fingers dug into the dip of your entrance and the heel of his hand ground hard against your clit.
“I can’t stop thinking about this pussy,” he confessed. His fingers rubbed harder, and he groaned hot against your skin. “I can already feel how soaked she is for me. How much she wants it.”
You nodded with a whimper, rolling your hips into his touch. “God yes. Please.”
He pulled back just enough to stare down at your face, his pitch black eyes sliding over your features to settle on your open mouth. “Tell me you want this. Tell me how much you want my cock.”
“Yes. Please, please,” you begged.
“It’s gonna be a lot, baby.” He wetted his bottom lip with his tongue, his hand working, working, working. “She’s gonna need to be wet to take what I need her to take.”
A fresh wave of arousal washed through you, and your sleep shorts clung to your center with every grind of his palm. His thick fingers nudged the fabric to the side, exploring.
“Oh fuck,” he groaned, releasing a heavy breath. “Fuck.”
His eyes fluttered shut with a frown as his touch slid through your soaked seam and kissing you again, he timed the slide of his tongue with the slick stretch of two fingers.
Your thighs opened wider around his waist, a whine crawling out of your throat when he pushed them deeper and when he started a smooth, audible stroke, you started to ride his hand.
You’d been watching his fingers for months: wrapped around the steering wheel in the car, loosely cradling the neck of a beer bottle, drumming against his thigh when he watched TV sometimes. You’d imagined them tucked inside you so many times, buried in your mouth or your cunt, and as he worked a third one in, you let out a filthy moan.
“I gotta work it open, baby,” he soothed, pulling your earlobe between his lips. “It’ll be okay. I know you can take it.”
His hips started to follow the rhythmic roll of his hand and when he seemed satisfied with how much you could take, he slid his fingers out, reaching to tear his shirt off over his head. When he pushed his fingers into his mouth for a moment, his lips wrapping around his knuckles as he sucked your taste off the thick digits, his hooded eyes took in the way you scrambled to take your sleep shorts off.
Following your lead, he dumped everything onto the floor beside your bed, and it felt like heaven when you felt his bare skin against the inside of your thighs. So broad, so firm and strong, his body pressed you into the mattress and you felt the hot, pulsing heft of his cock pushing against your cunt. You clenched at the teasing sensation of what was to come, and reached down to grasp him, but his hand caught yours and pushed it into the bedding above your head.
“Let me do it. I wanna watch your face when I put it in,” he confessed, resting his weight on top of you as he reached down with his other hand to guide himself in.
Sticky slick smeared between the both of you, and when the tip of his cock forced you to bloom around him, his eyes fixed on your face. Greedily, he devoured the sight of your mouth dropping open, a tiny tiny frown appearing between your brows and he thickened inside you, pushing forward.
“Fuck,” you moaned. “It’s so much.” So much more than you ever thought it would be, even with all the months spent imagining it.
He bottomed out and the air froze in your lungs, your cunt stuffed fuller than it’s ever been.
“Shhh,” he soothed, staying in place to let you adjust. “It’s okay. You’re okay. You’re so fucking tight, baby. So tight.”
Squirming underneath him, you hitched your knees higher around his torso and he rocked his hips to slide halfway out before grinding back in with a weighted push. He gave you a minute: a tense minute, a minute thick and full of wanting, a minute where all you could focus on was the stretch of his cock and the heated bulk of his body and the firmness of his chest pressed against yours.
He brushed his lips against yours, and gently rolled his hips.
“Do you know how much I’ve thought about this? About fucking you, in this bed?” His voice deep and breathless, it sounded overwhelmingly intimate breathed against your cheek.
You shook your head.
“I thought I was the only one,” you admitted. “I used to think – oh fuck – I used to think about you coming down the hallway in the night. Crawling into my bed and fucking me just like this. Just like I can hear you fuck her.”
“You listen to me fuck her?” His hips rocked forward a little faster, picking up pace.
“I can’t help it,” you whined. “The sounds – the sounds you make. I wanted to make you make them. I wanted to be the reason.”
His fingers pushed through the hold of your own, locking your hands together above your head and he dug his knees into the bed for leverage. Your breasts shifted underneath him, bouncing lightly as he fucked into you harder and his eyes dropped down to watch. “You are, baby. You are. I think about you all the time.”
Building steadily underneath him, your head pushed back into the bedding and his mouth found your throat, his teeth scraping against the tender skin. His hips never stopping their filling grind, you pushed your fingers through his curls and when he bit down with a suck, a slurred yes slipped out of your outstretched throat.
You imagined your mom seeing it, asking you if you went on a date with someone.
His strokes got harder, harsher, his hips snapping against yours and digging your fingers into the soft globes of his ass, you forced him deeper. When you clenched around his thick length, he looked down at you, wrecked and desperate.
“I wish I tasted you,” he groaned. “Next time, okay?”
You frantically nodded, unable to focus on anything but the bright, shining edge of your release.
He could see it, feel it in the squeeze of your soaked cunt and his vision blurred around the edges, his own want building at the base of his spine.
“You gonna come?”
You are. The sounds he’s making above you and the way he feels inside you and the scent and need rolling off his skin and those fucking pitch black eyes that have been in your dreams for months –
Slick dripped down the curve of your ass, your hips locking up underneath him and when you came with a silent cry, he groaned deep and loud, fucking you right through it.
“Tell me I can fucking come inside you. Say it,” he pleaded, fingers gripped on your chin to hold your gaze on his. His words punctuated by the snap of his hips, you nod your head.
“Do it,” you whined.
Your fingers threaded through his curls, it’s the tug that you give that does it. Coming harder than he had in his fucking life, he filled your tight cunt with thick ropes of his spend. Endless, smeared over the shaft of his thick cock as he continued to pump into you because he couldn’t stop, slipping out to drip onto the delicate sheets below.
“Christ,” he groaned, his jaw clenched as the veins in his neck strained above you, his hips stuttering. Slowing them into a languid roll against your own, his softening cock was still a thick, filling weight inside and when he looked down at you, you recognized the guilt that already flooded the brown depths.
You stared right back, holding him tight.
“Stay,” you murmured, holding him in place when he started to roll off of you.
You wanted to remember this. The hot press of his skin against yours, tacky and slick with sweat. The warm gust of his breath over your lips, the rapid beat of his pulse under his flushed neck. The wild curls that stuck damply along his hairline, the brush of his fingers as he tenderly thumbed at the curve of your jaw.
He swallowed and you could see the war in his eyes, something you recognized as being there from the start. His hand curled over the crown of your head, and you pressed a kiss to his throat.
“You can’t –” he started, eyes fluttering shut at the press of your mouth. “You can’t tell your mom about this, okay. We can’t say anything.”
We. You reveled in the sound of the word, your head nodding underneath him. A secret to share. Something for the two of you alone.
“I won’t,” you promised. “Just don’t leave, okay?”
You felt small and vulnerable asking, and when he looked down at you, a glimpse of the girl he imagined on that very first day tugged at his memory. Not the age he pictured of course, but the way you needed him.
The way he wanted you to need him all along.
His face nuzzled yours, his nose sliding across your cheek. A kiss pressed against the soft, youthful curve of your cheek that he had admired for months, he nodded with your sweet taste still lingering on his tongue.
“I won’t, baby. I’m not going anywhere.”

something about dad!jude porfavorrrrr I need this in my life 😍😍😍 I feel like Jude would be such a good dad especially with a little girl. Aaaaaaa porfa haz esto
amorcito te quiero tanto, por eso te escribo este blurb para ti!! 😘 haven’t been okay since that pic with a little baby 😔💔
“look who it is ellie! it’s dada!” you say in a baby voice, jude walking in and immediately rushing to both of you. your daughter excitedly gasped and kicked her feet, anxious to be in her daddies hold. jude kisses her chubby cheeks and forehead, whispering just how much he missed her and you.
jude placed her on his side, his hand brushing your cheek and capturing your lips in an awaited kiss. just a couple days apart but it drive him crazy. he hated being away especially when the two of you were left alone. “how are you? was she okay?” he asked, walking into the kitchen hearing ellie blabbering.
“more than okay, she slept through all the nights, maybe woke up once or twice but overall she did so good,” you sighed, making a cup of tea for the two of you since it was late. you wore one of jude’s oversized tees and a pair of cookie monster oh shorts. jude finding it hard to be away, especially with his daughter along him.
he missed the two of you terribly. his thoughts constantly consumed at how you were doing? what you were up to? if you were okay? he was super protective and only wanted the best for his girls. “i missed you so much little one, tore my heart when i saw you crying when i left,” jude pouted before blowing raspberries in her neck and tummy, loud giggle taking over the room.
when jude had away games, he had to leave with his daughter clung into him, tears in her big brown eyes, repeatedly calling out for him as a sign to not go. it was always such a hard thing and he felt guilty leaving you with her in that state.
“did so good for mommy! that means i’ll buy you ice cream, new bows for your hair and a new toy,” he promises seeing her make an o shape with her mouth and looking at you in shock. the two of you copying her which made her squeal. “she is so big now,” jude said sadly, looking into his daughters eyes, ellie offering a toothy smile. “can you stay this tiny?”
you wrapped your hand around his bicep, kissing it before slowly rubbing away the food on ellie’s mouth, pushing her wet and already coated with products curls up. the night shower going to help her fall asleep, all through the night once again. ellie yawned, leaning her head on her daddies shoulder, tiny hand also coming up to lay beneath her her cheek.
jude rubbed his hand against her back, cooing her to sleep. he grabbed her milk and pouring into her disney princess themed bottle, also grabbing her binkie just incase. “you got it or want me to do it?” you ask him, also yawning due to how late it was. “i can do it, just wait for me in our room, i’ll be there soon,” he pecked your lips sealing the promise.
he walked into ellie’s room, turning on the air humidifier, and lamp in the corner of her room. changing her into a new diaper as she fought her sleep. jude sat on the rocking chair, ellie laying in his arms as he gave her the bottle and read a book quietly to her. it seemed like she wanted to stay up, but it was past her bedtime and she needed to sleep.
jude stood up after reading three books, rocking her gently and softly side to side, her binkie now in her mouth as she slowly fluttered her eyes to sleep. “you’re so beautiful ellie, i love you so much my sweet girl…” he sang and hummed the lullabies you sing to her when she was with you. kissing her cheeks and curls, once she finally fell asleep in his arms, grabbing the back of her head gently and placing her in the crib.
“shh, shh, shh, shh,” jude said softly, fixing her small pillow and covering her with a blanket, tucking her teddy bear next to her and the binkie as well. jude fixed the baby camera grabbing the charged screen and shutting the lights off. he put back the books and took the empty bottle with him as well. he closed the door to her room as quiet as possible, going downstairs to wash the bottle and coming back up immediately.
“i brought her a new one, just incase she does wake up at night,” jude said to you, placing the small bottle into the tiny fridge you had. “thank you handsome,” you spoke tiredly, wanting nothing more than to finally sleep. jude checked on ellie one more time through the baby monitor, seeing her sound asleep with her arms up.
“was she fussy?”
“nope not at all. she fought her sleep but that was all,” he said laying next to you, bringing yo to his side and kissing you deeply. “i want another baby,” jude pouted. you giggled, “i know you do… but i want to enjoy our time with ellie first, see her grow up and enjoy our time a bit before bringing another baby into our lives.”
“you’re such a good dad to her jude, she’s so lucky to have you, i’m so lucky to have you! but seeing you with our ellie it’s just so pure and a different love. you’re a natural, so loving, gentle, and you spoil her like crazy…” you whisper, making jude nervous and shy.
“a natural? really?”
“mhmm. it’s like you were made or were already ready for this dad life,” you nod kissing his jaw. “i love you y/n. i hope you know that making you my wife has been the most amazing decision ever. and make you a mommy as well,” jude teased, feeling the gently slap in his chest. “seriously, thank you for bringing and carrying my ellie to us…”
the next morning jude was up first, leaving a kiss on your head before grabbing the monitor and seeing ellie awake. jude smiled wide, making grabby hands at her when she grabbed onto the railings almost jumping in excitement. “good morning my sweet angel! how’d you sleep?” he kissed all over her face, pushing her coils back as she squealed loudly.
jude put the baby monitor to charge, walking downstairs to the kitchen and pouring her juice in a bottle. “let’s make you and mommy some breakfast okay?” jude said, still carrying her since she refused to be put down. he made coffee and cut up some fruit for ellie, siting her in her high chair.
he poured the coffee in the mugs, fixing the plate with eggs, fruit, utensils, syrup and small waffles in the breakfast stand. carding both his daughter and the food all the way upstairs. “go go go! go wake mommy up,” jude ushered, laughing at ellie crawling rapidly to you.
someone tugging on your hair woke you up, seeing your daughter clapping as she giggled. “hi good morning my silly ellie girl,” you kissed her head sitting up and rubbing your eyes. jude came to your side, rubbing your back with his hand and offering you coffee, “me and ellie made breakfast for you.”
“did you really? you helped daddy?” you praise her, ellie siting on your lap as you took a sip of coffee. jude say next to you, kissing you and whispering a good morning before feeding ellie some breakfast and her silly cup with juice.
“would exchange anything to spend my morning like this with my beautiful girls…”

Tumblr media
It had been a long day at work for you. The data your boss had assigned you had taken you a lot longer to work on than you’d expected, which meant that you actually, genuinely missed your last lecture of the day. You had texted a barely-even-friend that attended the same elective about her notes but you hadn't gotten a text back so far.
Standing in front of your door now, you leaned the crown of your head against the outside of it and took a deep breath in. You had missed the key hole not once but twice now and the anger that welled up inside of you was completely unwarranted, so you knew you needed to mentally take at least one step back.
Four seconds in, seven hold, eight out. In and out. You blinked once and the dark of the wood was an unwelcome reminder of reality. Still, unlocked the door, this time succeeding on the first try.
The hallway was quiet, but you had expected as much. One of your flatmates had a nightshift at the clinic she was working at while the other was sleeping over at her boyfriends. The blissful silence you had looked forward to this morning seemed suffocating now.
It didn’t matter. It was fine like this, you were fine.
After turning on the kitchen light, you walked to your room, put down your bag and fell down onto your bed, face first. The scratchy fabric of your bedcover was not nearly as nice as the sheets you had dreamed of all day long.
For a while you let your eyes fall closed, not asleep, but resting nonetheless. You just wanted to rinse the day off of you, but you were too hungry to even think about showering.
With a groan you peeled yourself off your bed, sat at the edge of your mattress while an inexplicable urge to cry welled up inside of you. Your day had been really shitty and your were really, really hungry.
But you got up anyway and walked towards the light in the kitchen that shone through through the space of the door to your room.
The music you’d put on in the background helped but it didn’t quite scratch that itch for conversation, for company. When you saw your phone light up from where you had left it on the counter, you hoped it might be the classmate you had texted.
You rinsed off your hands to see who had messaged you.
Jack (worst Hughes brother): hey what r you doing tn? You: currently making dinner why what did you do what do you need Jack (worst Hughes brother): nothing  wait why did you assume i did/need sth anyways: can i come over soon?
The shower. You still had to shower, but soon for Jack usually meant at least half an hour. It  should be enough time and besides it was just Jack, no reason to put in more effort than necessary.
You: because you always text me when you need my help sure, I might be eating by then, have you eaten? Jack (worst Hughes brother): I did like 5min ago wait no ignore that, you’re telling me I could have had some of yours??? jkjk see you soon
You liked the last message and turned the heat off your stove. Shower first, you reminded yourself, even as you mourned the loss of the start of your dinner that you had been frying on the stove.
When he knocked at your door you were still sitting at the small kitchen table that could barely seat two people. “It’s open,” you said, loudly.
From the sounds you could hear him open and close the door, take off his shoes and leave his bag in the hallway. When he finally came into your view, you couldn’t help but smile. Strange how that worked, considering you had almost cried half an hour ago. Food really worked miracles sometimes. But then again he had always had that kind of effect on you, making you smile despite yourself.
“That’s not very safe of you,” he had said but he was already smiling, “having your door unlocked.”
“Hey you, fancy seeing you here.”
There was a warm feeling curling itself around your ribcage at the look at him, “hey yourself. I left it open because I knew you were coming over, don’t worry about it.”
“Alright,” he conceded, “did you watch the game yesterday?”
“‘Course I did,” you said, eyes following him as he took a glass from the cabinets and filled it up. There was something intimate about that, the ease he carried himself with, him knowing where to find your glassware and feeling comfortable enough to do so while carrying on with the conversation.
There was something in you that ached at the feeling, at having someone that comes home to you. At having someone that just feels that comfortable with you, that you live your life alongside with.
It’s not like you were lonely, you had wonderful flatmates and good friends, but there was just something different about this feeling, about this longing. Or maybe that was just the effect he had on you, inexplicable as always.
“Good, otherwise I would have felt stupid after my goal.”
You had seen the new ritual he did sometimes that he had been asked about by the media sometimes. He had done it a few times now, more often over this past year. He was approached by his teammates first, but then he was still for a bit, putting his hand on his chest and raising it up after, usually waving once. The warmth that had seeped into your bones crept up to your face, “you did that for me?”
The one time he talked to an interviewer about it, he had said it was a new good luck charm he was trying out.
Because of the small table the two of you sat close and his knee kept bumping into yours, but you hardly paid it any mind. It was comforting, having him here, this close in the low light of the kitchen, cradling one of your glasses in his hands.
Admitting something he hadn’t told anyone else.
“Yeah, of course, had to show my appreciation for my number one fan somehow.”
You laughed a little, “you are such an idiot.”
The smile he gave you in return crinkled up the skin at the corner of his eyes and you wanted to trace that fold with your thumb. What were you even thinking? “I know.”
So you just swatted his shoulder and got up to wash your dish. “Did you guys go out and celebrate?”
Jack turned in his seat, his body facing your back from where he was still sitting at the table, “yeah. It was a really small bar in the middle of nowhere, Nico said he didn’t want to be recognised, despite the win.”
You hummed in response. The constant scrutiny must have been affecting them all after these past few games. “Cool. Did it actually work or,” you trailed off, not really sure how to finish your question.
“Sort of, I mean we took a few pictures when we came in but it was a lot better than usual.”
“I’m glad then,” you said and turned back around to face him, “I’m glad nothing too exciting happened.”
At the word exciting his expression morphed into something odd. “What?” you asked.
“Nothing,” he answered but he wasn’t meeting your eyes anymore.
“You can tell me, you know you can,” you reminded him, now getting closer to him again. You were usually able to get out every last secret of his if you just asked the right questions.
“I know,” he assured you, now pulling you a little closer by your hip and resting his hand there. He had always been touchy like that, arms slung over your shoulders or around your waist, hands holding your wrist to pull you through crowds, thumbs circling your ankle when you rested your legs in his lap.
“But it’s really nothing, I just got a little drunk,” he assured you, but you didn’t really buy it.
Still, you had no real reason to press, knowing that it just made him close up further. He would end up telling you, just not now. “Okay.”
The two of you went back to your room soon after, deciding to watch a movie. You didn’t tell him that you were really, genuinely tired, because you knew he could tell. He always could, somehow, even if you yourself weren’t all that aware of it. Funny how that worked.
You sat down first and then patted the spot next to you on the bed, but for a split second you saw him hesitate. That hurt, just a bit because you had thought that the two of you were close enough for it to not matter anymore.
Still, he leaned against the headboard next to you, his shoulder softly knocking against yours and your worries disappeared at that. You must have imagined it.
“Any preferences?”
“Ratatouille,” you said immediately, not even knowing where that request came from.
He smiled, “I do like a girl that knows what she wants.”
For some reason you blushed at that, at the barely even there implication of being his. You really were going insane today. “Is that okay for you?”
“Sure,” he said, “let's watch the rat be a better cook than the two of us combined.”
You typed the website and clicked play on your screen and settled your laptop down between the two of you, one knee on each side of the bottom of it.
You were suddenly keenly aware of the fact that you didn’t even own a tv, that you were watching a movie from your laptop when he could be at home, watching it on a screen that was at least double the size of this.
It was a stupid thought, so you brushed it off. He was a professional athlete, you were a college student. There was something fundamentally different about your current lives, as intertwined as they were.
The movie started soon after, so you pushed all of that to the back of your mind. At first the two of you ran a semi-steady commentary about what was going on but soon after you were both too engrossed in the story to think about anything fun to say.
When a sharp sound came from the screen you realised that you had your eyes closed. Sleepily you blinked your eyes open again. It must have been for a few minutes, at least because you weren't sure what was going on anymore.
“Tired?” he asked, a knowing glint in his eyes.
You let your forehead fall against his shoulder, this time on purpose. It was a welcome contrast to a few hours ago when you did the same thing against your front door. His shoulder was softer because of his sweatshirt and he smelled nice. Like the shampoo he used, like his laundry detergent. You wondered when that smell had become intrinsically his and not someone else's' like a friend of yours that used the same deodorant.
You kind of wanted to drown in it, but you held yourself afloat anyway. He wasn’t yours, you weren’t his. The two of you weren’t like that.
“Had a hard day at work,” you mumbled, a little more tired now than you’d been just moments ago. His presence did that to you, calmed you down when you didn’t even know you were high to begin with.
He lowered your shoulder a bit which made it more comfortable for you to rest your head on it. “You could have said no, you know that, right?”
But you had wanted to see him once you had seen his message. “I know.”
“Good,” he answered, as if it was as simple as that and remained quiet after that.
You tried to turn your focus back to the movie, you really did, but before you knew it your eyelids were drooping again.
Then you were woken up again, this time by Jack.
The movie must have finished in the meantime because he had moved his arm, closing your laptop. You rubbed your eyes tiredly, trying to form a coherent thought but the only thing on your mind was the warmth of him next to you, the dream that just barely slipped out of your grasp.
“Sorry,” you said.
He turned to you, surprised. “What for? If anything I should apologise, I kept watching even when you were tired.”
“You know I don't mind that,” you said. “I just wasn’t very good company today. Sorry.”
Jack knocked his shoulder against you with a little more purpose so you  turned to him. “Nope, none of that. I don’t mind, I got to see you, which is all I wanted anyway.”
How could he just say something like that? As if words like these didn’t bore themselves under your skin, living there forever, etching themselves into the white of your bones.
This casually, as if it didn’t just make your heart flutter the same way it did when you were eighteen, back when you had loved him. Still, in your barely illuminated room, late at night you let yourself linger. Let yourself pretend that his words held meaning.
Let yourself pretend that the two of you were different.
You thought about the thousands of times you must have seen him just like this, in the dark, looking back at you.
It was a weird memory that came to you, just then.
Back when the two of you had first met you had been crushing hard. It wasn’t really surprising, now looking back. You had never really gotten a lot of attention by boys growing up, so when he went out of his way to talk to you, you really had no choice but to fall for him.
Liking him had become addicting.
You could still remember the moment you thought he might like you back and the very same moment you knew it wasn’t, probably ever, going to work out between the two of you.
It was at a party, after you had just graduated. You had just come out of the bathroom, alone because your friend was finally, finally talking to the guy she liked.
Then you picked up a friend’s voice somewhere down the corner, most likely from the kitchen. “C’mon your turn now. Who are you crushing on,” Aaron had said. They must still be playing a weird mixture of truth or dare and some other game you had already forgotten the name of.
Your mind immediately went to Jack, the way his hand had brushed yours when he had gotten you a drink earlier that night.
“I don't?” Jack answered, slightly laughing, but there was an air of unease in his voice that you couldn’t help but notice.
“C’mon, Jack don’t be like that,” someone else interjected, and suddenly you were a lot more invested in the conversation than just a moment ago. It was always like that when it was about him.
“There are always so many girls throwing themselves at you, surely you want one of them,” you could hear the other guy’s jealousy from miles away but you weren’t sure if the others picked up on it too.
“I’m serious, I barely have time for my friends already, let alone a girlfriend.” Jack said and there was this tiny spark of hope rising in your chest. Maybe you could change that. Maybe you could be the exception.
“True,” Aaron agreed calmer than usual. You thought he might be noticing the tension waving off of the other guy.
“There is no shame in admitting it,” the other guy doubled down, “what about that one girl? Short, brunette, on the track and field club.”
Oh god, he was describing your friend, the one you had just left with her crush. “Nah, wait I think she has a boyfriend, but what about her friend, the one that Kevin hangs out with.”
You. Shit, he was talking about you. Did you really want to hear Jack’s response? What if he said he didn’t like you? But what if he did?
“She is my friend too, you know,” Jack said, “but she is pretty, I guess.”
He guesses? That kind of really stung. You knew that there was nothing all that memorable about you, but it’s not like you were ugly. A thousand different insecurities that you thought you had worked through rose to the surface and you didn’t have the strength to push them back down.
You had to escape, now, without being noticed and without listening to anything more. Still, your ear couldn’t help but pick up on the rest even as you pushed past that guy that sat behind you in math.
“Jack, don’t be like that,” the other guy insisted, “don’t you want to go up to her and just fuck her? I mean her ass-”
Humiliation. For some reason you felt humiliated and violated. You knew about locker room talk, but you had never wanted to be part of it. Tears were beginning to well up in your eyes and suddenly you could feel every single person that had touched any part of you today, suddenly questioning if it really was accidental.
You had to get out, now. The static in your ear was loud and the bass vibrating through the soles of your feet seemed to turn it up even more. You had run away, texting the friend you came with some kind of bullshit excuse for leaving.
The asphalt outside on the sidewalk was cold, but you sat down on it anyway. You just wanted to cry. Everything seemed so overwhelming and important all at once and you had no idea how to deal with all of it.
Soon you were leaving high school for good, your friends were moving all across the country, you were so fucking lonely and the guy you had been crushing on for a better part of a year didn’t even think that you were worthy to look at.
You drew your legs closer to your body and folded yourself up as much as possible. Growing up seemed scary all of a sudden. There was that one Lorde lyric that said that too, that you couldn’t quite pinpoint.
Suddenly people were streaming out of the house, all at once. You wiped your tears, looking up at what was happening. In the stream of people you couldn’t make out any of your friends.
Then you heard your name being called. It was Kevin, still standing at his door. He held Jack at the others shirt collar, as if he was holding up a particularly unruly cat that had gotten in trouble again.
Your eyes must not have been red because when you came closer neither boy commented on it. “Get him home,” Kevin said and dumped a heap of Jack right in front of you.
Jack glared back at where Kevin disappeared back into the house, eyes murderous. You had never really seen him act like that, especially to a friend. But then again how well did you really know him?
A beat of silence. You really wondered what on earth had happened for the party to just end. You shifted your weight on your feet. “Do you have a car?” you asked eventually.
Jack brushed past you, “yeah. I’ll drive you home, didn’t drink anything.”
You followed him, but on the short walk back to his car neither of you said anything.
The stereo remained off all the way back to your place. After you had stopped looking at him to try and figure out what had him in this bad of a mood, you looked outside. The neighbourhood was so familiar, and the horribly sad feeling from earlier came up again.
You really needed some kind of distraction. “Thank you for driving me home.”
For a second he remained quiet and you really thought you were going to be ignored. He had always had a bit of a dramatic streak at times. “Of course.”
His expression remained scarily blank. “Can I ask what happened with Kevin?”
“Nothing,” he said, his gaze staring firmly ahead. Then, “I don’t like his friends.”
What kind of response was that? “Okay,” you tried, carefully, “then why did you come?”
“I didn’t know I didn’t like them before tonight,” he said.
Then you looked at the way his hands were gripping the wheel, specifically at his knuckles. Wait- “did you punch one of them?”
He laughed, and the sound bounced off the small enclosure and some kind of happy feeling made your heart swell, even though you had been apprehensive about him just moments ago.
It was a lot longer than your comment had warranted. You really were a bit concerned about him. Should he be driving if he acted like this? “I might have.”
Before you could ask why, because you had never seen him actually punch anyone, he continued, “in my defense, he started it.”
“That’s a shitty defense,” you said, “that just means you have to be the one to take a step back first.”
He only shook his head in response but you were happy he was back to acting like that Jack you knew. “You would have punched him too, I just know it.”
“Sure,” you replied. You had never punched a person because you didn’t like them and you didn’t think you’d start anytime soon.
“Trust me, you would have,” he said and left it at that.
The two of you arrived at your place soon after, so you thanked him and left.
The rest of the summer between highschool and college was spent getting over him, which you eventually succeeded at when he introduced his now ex-girlfriend to you and your friends.
In college you went out on a few dates, but none of them ended up going anywhere. That was fine to you, because it just meant that you were prioritising other things now, like your studies and your friends.
There wasn’t even anything all that similar between that memory and your current situation, but you drew the comparison anyway. His jaw was more refined now, his hair longer and his eyes seemed different now, a bit more mature maybe. Or maybe just a bit more tired.
“What are you thinking about?” he asked.
It must have been a bit strange, you just looking at him. “You,” you replied honestly. “Do you remember that one party, way back, after high school where you punched someone?”
He groaned and leaned his head back against the wall, his throat exposed. Your gaze lingered there for a bit before returning to his face. Some kind of feeling almost bubbled to the surface at the sound and the matching sight.
“I do.”
“I never actually figured why you did that.” When his gaze remained firmly on your ceiling, you continued, “I feel like now enough time has passed for you to admit why.”
He smiled a bit. “There was this other guy, right? The one I punched, I mean.”
You nodded.
“He was being a real dick about one of my friends, and when he didn’t stop talking about her I just kinda wanted him to shut up. Moved before thinking about it.”
“Asshole,” you commented, not about Jack.
“Right?” he turned his head so that he looked back down to you, “after that one punch I came back to myself but before I knew it Kevin had dragged me out by my collar, shouting that everyone had to go.”
“He must have wanted to avoid a full on fight,” you said.
“For sure, can’t even blame him.” With a mischievous gleam in his eyes he said, “but it felt really good to finally shut him up.”
You laughed, thinking that the entire situation was a lot more dramatic than it really had any reason to be. The laugh turned to a yawn by the end.
“I should leave,” he said but you had the weird urge to ask him to stay.
“Sorry, I’m a lot more tired than I thought,” you said instead.
“Don’t apologise for that,” he said, getting up. He ended up offering you a hand to help you get up as well even though you really didn't need it. You took it anyway.
He picked up the bag that he had left at the door, opened it and turned to you. “I had fun.”
You smiled, “me too.”
“Good,” he offered you a smile in return. You saw his hand reach out and stop for just a second, but before you could ask him about it, he held it against your temple and leaned down to give you a kiss on your forehead. He lingered in your orbit for a bit longer than the duration of the kiss, just hovering above you.
“See you soon,” he said, waving, and you replied the same. Then you closed your door and locked it.
You didn’t need to hold your hand against your cheek to feel it burn. What was that? He had never done that before. He had never done anything like that before, ever.
You stumbled to your bathroom, and went through the motions of brushing your teeth and going on the toilet. When you finally crawled under your sheets, you let yourself sink down into them.
Still, you were too tired to properly dissect the entire interaction so instead you closed your eyes. You drifted to sleep, your mind focusing on the tips of his ears that had seemed a bit flushed when he closed the door behind himself.

Double the trouble
Tumblr media
Summary: Two for the price of one.
Pairing: Mafia!Bucky Barnes x fem!Reader, Mafia!Nick Fowler x fem!Reader
Warnings: angst, language, betrayal, lies, secrets, kinda of stalking
Catch up here: Fool me twice
Tumblr media
That night you get to know the truth about your boyfriend. He and his twin brother are the head of the mob in town. In an attempt to keep you safe, they agreed to hide the fact that Bucky has a brother.
Nick took his place whenever Bucky had to attend one of their not-so-legal business meetings. In the beginning, Nick saw protecting you as his duty. He was loyal to his brother. Until. One day. He felt something else for you.
A connection. Love maybe.
He didn’t know and tried to hide his feelings from you and his brother. Every time you tried to get intimate, he found an excuse to not touch you. Nick even refused to kiss you to not betray his brother.
But this morning, he just couldn’t hold back any longer. You feel apart in his arms so sweetly, and he admitted his sin.
His brother didn’t take Nick’s betrayal well. The confession led to a fight. The first one between the brothers since they were kids.
“How could you do this to me?” You step away when Bucky tries to reach out for you. “Don’t touch me.” You visibly shudder. “I believed he’s you. He made me believe it. I sleep with a man I don’t even know.”
Bucky winces as you start to cry. “Baby doll, I’m so fucking sorry. It never was in my plans that he touched you. I almost killed Nick for touching you.”
“Y/N, I’m not a stranger to you,” Nick sounds almost hurt. “We know each other almost as long as you know Bucky. We went to that junk market, and we had dinner at that awful restaurant you wanted to try. I let you cry into my chest when after you watched this ridiculous rom-com movie.”
“Yeah!” You shake your head. “Because I believed you are Bucky. I didn’t even know your name until tonight. When we had sex, you…you kinda…” You sniffle and look away. “I feel dirty and used.”
“Y/N,” Bucky steps toward you, but you step away. “I won’t hurt your, doll. God, I would kill myself before hurting you.”
“And yet, you let your brother take your place and—” you bite your tongue. “Even if I initiated what happened this morning, he should’ve stopped me. But no. He took advantage of me, and the fact that I didn’t know it wasn’t you.”
“His face doesn’t look like that because I went easy on him,” Bucky tries to calm you but it’s no use. Anytime he gets close to you, you step away and shake your head. “I broke his face, and more than one rip. I’m not done with him yet for what he did this morning. But it’s not completely his fault. I shouldn’t have asked him to keep an eye on you.”
“Exactly,” you point out. “You’re as guilty as he is. I ended up sleeping with a stranger because you let him into my life. Bucky, how can you say that you wanted to protect me from getting hurt, but you let your brother do this to me?”
“Baby, I—” Bucky sniffs as you start to cry again. “Please. I’ll do anything. Y/N, please don’t cry.”
“Colibri,” Nick slowly steps toward you. “Hi.” He softly says as you. “Please let us explain. We never wanted things to get so complicated. It’s my fault that I fell for you so easily.”
“You make it sound like you didn’t abuse me this morning,” you snap at Nick. “Yes, I asked you to join me in the showers, but I believed you are the man I love.”
“I am the man you love,” he raises his voice and regrets it in an instant. You flinch and take a step toward the door. “We spend as much time together as you spend with Bucky. I made you laugh, and giggle. You fell asleep in my arms. I won that ugly bear for you at the fair.”
“Nick, you’re not helpful,” Bucky tries to calm his aching heart. Nick is not wrong. You got to know his brother over the months you spent with him too. “We need to calm her first.”
“I’m trying to calm her,” Nick argues. “All you did was hit me, instead of respecting the feelings I have for Y/N.”
“Well, I see this is all about the two of you,” you sneer. “I’m not needed here any longer. Whatever is wrong with you, you should get your shit figured out. And please don’t do this to another woman.”
“Doll! Wait!” Bucky gasps as you leave the room and slam the door shut. He wants to run after you, wants to chase you and bring you into his arms but he knows, he cannot face you again before he and Nick settle their score…”

Five months later the dust settled. You left town that night, never looking back. It was hard to leave your job, home, and the town you learned to love.
But Bucky Barnes and his brother are dangerous men. Or so you heard.
If you wanted to start a new life, far away from the men breaking your heart and betraying you, it was necessary to leave and never look back.
This is how you ended up in the sleepiest town you can imagine.
It’s a nice one, with friendly people and not much crime. The perfect environment to start a new life, or at least get a break from your former life.
“Morning, Y/N,” Carol, the waitress at your favorite diner chirps as you sit down at the diner counter. Well, it’s the only diner in town, and the food is not too bad. “The usual.”
“You know me,” you wink at her and chuckle. “I’m a simple girl, and I love your breakfast.”
“How are the eggs?” Someone plops down on the diner stool to your right. “What can you recommend, Colibri?”
Your body goes stiff. “No…”
“Doll, is the bacon good at this diner?” Bucky plops down on the diner stool to your left. You’re trapped between the mobsters. Again.
“How’d you find me?” You sniff and look around the diner. “Why now?”
“We found you right after you left?” Nick shrugs. “Bucky decided it’s for the best to leave you alone and keep an eye on you.”
“You stalked me?” You glare at Bucky. “Seriously?”
“We kept you safe, doll. That’s a difference.”
“No. It’s not!”
“It is,” Nick winks at the waitress. “I’ll take the pancakes, eggs, and coffee. Black.”
“Like his soul,” you grunt. “Carol don’t give them anything. They won’t stay.”
“Miss, I’m having what she’s having,” Bucky says. He points at your plate, filled with all the things you wanted to eat this morning. Now you have lost your appetite.
“Why are you here?” You sigh and hide your face in the palms of your hands. “I told the last time we saw each other that I never want to see you again.”
“The last time we saw each other you sneaked out of the house and left in the dead of the night. That’s what happened.”
“Who asked you, imposer,” you glare at Nick. “I left because you both lied to me for months! I had sex with you.”
“I remember,” he dares to smirk. “You didn’t moan my brother’s name, Colibri. You called me your strong bear because I won the plushie at the fair for you. In that moment, you fucked me, not Bucky.”
“Nick don’t,” Bucky warns. “Y/N, we need to talk.” He looks around the diner. “Not here, though. Please give us a chance to explain why we cannot let you go.”

instead of you [part thirty] || l.mh
pairing: [best friend’s brother] lee minho x college!reader ft. han jisung
summary: you didn’t expect to spend your summer pretending to be your best friend’s girlfriend- then again, you didn’t expect to fall for your best friend’s brother, either.
warnings: swearing, mentions of menstruation, pain, smut (mdni)
word count: 3.6k
a/n: revamped my tom holland series from my main blog ( @wazzupmrstark ) to try and motivate myself to finish it!!
series masterlist | early access to the next chapter on ko-fi
additional smut warnings: face sitting, protected sex, multiple orgasms
That night, Jisung took you to a pharmacy that was right by the resort. It was within walking distance but since you had a bad foot, you took a cab. He tipped the driver extra to leave the meter running and stay parked outside while you ran in together to grab what you needed, and then tipped him again when you made it back to the hotel since the whole journey was more of an inconvenience than an actual ride.
After taking a shower, you soaked your foot like Amir had instructed you to and then fell asleep almost immediately. Surfing had completely sapped you of all of your energy, even without the whole sea urchin incident.
Everything hurt when you woke up. It felt similar to the morning after having sex with Minho for the first time but ten times worse. You groaned as you rolled over, the sound splintering off into a whimper when you tried sitting up.
“Quiet, they’re going to think we’re messing around in here,” Jisung said, shushing you. You’d woken him up with your noises.
“Can’t help it,” you grumbled back.
“Sore?” he asked.
“Incredibly.”
“It’s brutal after your first time.”
“I’ve gathered that.”
“I’ll grab you some ibuprofen and a glass of water.”
“Thank you.”
-
The morning was spent lazily. Jisung made breakfast for everyone and you all ate together in the kitchen, listening to Dom explain the concept of the new book he was writing. You couldn’t really follow the plot but you still nodded along like you did and let the boys do all of the question asking.
After breakfast, everyone got ready for the day and met in the lobby where you were picked up by a cab and taken to a marina. Jisung had told you that you would be snorkeling most of the day, but you hadn’t expected it to be deep sea snorkeling. The idea was a bit daunting but it turned out that it wasn’t actually as deep as the name suggested. The water was clear enough to see everything and the ocean floor was only about thirty feet below you.
The captain of the boat you’d taken out to this spot had assured you that the area was shallow and full of marine life.
“We just like to take visitors out here because it’s less busy than right by the shore,” he said.
Obviously, the man knew what he was talking about. The snorkeling was one of the highlights of the entire trip thus far for you. You had never seen so many fish in one place before, or coral for that matter. Everything was so vibrant that it felt right out of a page of NatGeo. It was nice just to be able to relax and let the water carry your body weight as you floated on the surface, especially since you were still so sore. You barely had to move at all. It was so peaceful that you almost fell asleep in the water.
The only thing that startled you out of your half-asleep daze was Minho purposefully splashing you as he swam past you.
You broke the news of your newfound dedication to celibacy to him once you got back to the resort that night. You’d stayed up to finish a movie with him after everyone else had gone to sleep and he’d invited you back to his room as soon as the credits rolled.
“I just can’t keep going behind Jisung’s back,” you explained.
“You don’t need to explain yourself to me,” he replied. You could tell he was disappointed but was trying not to let it show. You were disappointed too. You’d only slept with him twice but it was some of the best sex of your fucking life and you didn’t want to just throw that away. “Any reason to want to stop is reason enough, and it’s not my business,” he added.
“It kind of is, though,” you reasoned with a sigh. He just shrugged. “I just thought you deserved to know.”
“Thanks for being honest.” He stood from the couch unceremoniously and turned back to you. “Uh, goodnight, I guess.”
You didn’t respond right away, taking a moment to admire the way the light from the television illuminated his features.
“Goodnight, Minho.”
You cringed inwardly at how weak you sounded, forcing a polite smile. The second his back was turned you started rethinking everything. Were you really going to let him just walk away?
“Wait-” you called out after him. “One more time couldn’t hurt, right?”
-
Your back hit the mattress as soon as the door shut behind you, Minho having pushed you onto his bed at the same time. You bounced a little, giggling as he jumped on top of you. He moved his way up your body until he was able to kiss you, sliding a hand under your head to lift you up to him. You kissed him back eagerly, slipping your tongue into his mouth as soon as the chance presented itself. Minho moaned quietly and you wrapped your legs around his waist, pulling him in closer.
“We have to be quiet,” he reminded you after breaking away from the kiss. “Felix is right next door.”
You nodded. “I can be quiet.”
He raised an eyebrow. “You sure about that?”
“Mhm, you’ll just have to find something to keep my mouth busy.”
“Fuck.”
He began undressing you slowly, taking his time with you like you knew he liked to do. You were already in your pajamas so everything came off easily. Your t-shirt, your stolen boxer shorts that Minho had probably once thought to be his brother’s, your panties. You were lying naked underneath him in no time.
“I’m off my period, by the way,” you added.
“You know I don’t care about that.”
“Yeah, but I thought you’d want to know… just in case.”
He narrowed his eyes, not following. “Just in case… of what?”
You sighed and flung your arms to the side dramatically. “Oh my god, are you really going to make me spell it out for you?”
“Spell out what?” he hissed. “I don’t know what you’re talking about! I already told you I don’t care about whether you’re on your period or not.”
“Okay, but there are certain things you can’t do on your period.”
“Like what?”
You rolled your eyes. He really was hopeless. At this point, you weren’t sure if he was actually oblivious or being obtuse on purpose. You had been under the impression that Minho liked eating pussy but maybe he had just been pretending to enjoy it for your benefit.
“Do you want to go down on me or not?”
His eyes widened in realization and he nodded eagerly. “Oh, you should’ve just said that.”
“I was trying to!”
“You kept skirting around it!” he argued.
“I didn’t want to say it outright…” you trailed off.
“Why? Are you embarrassed?” He was teasing you and you knew it.
“A little,” you admitted. “I’m not used to asking for what I want.”
He smirked, leaning down to kiss you on the mouth as he answered. “Well, you’d better get used to it.”
You were tempted to tell him it was pointless since this was the last time you were going to sleep together but you didn’t want to bring the mood down so you just nodded into the kiss and tried your best to forget about the depressing reality.
He broke away again, this time to take off his own clothes. You watched him pull his shirt over his head, bottom lip between your teeth as your gaze trailed the defined lines of his body.
“You’re so gorgeous,” you whispered, allowing yourself to reach out and touch him. Your fingers followed the same path as your eyes had and Minho shivered beneath your touch. You expected him to quip back with something smart, something to defuse the sincerity in your voice, but he didn’t. Instead, he pushed his hips forward so that he could grind against you.
A moan caught in your throat and you arched your back, meeting him halfway. The fabric felt good on your clit and the motion of his hips created the friction you had been searching for but you were worried about staining the material. You were already turned on, and your arousal was only building as Minho kissed his way down your neck. You would be mortified if there was a noticeable wet spot on the front of his pants when he pulled away.
For Minho, though, that seemed to be the last thing on his mind. His hands roamed your body like he was trying to memorize each and every curve, like he was an artist, committing your figure to memory so that he could sketch it in graphite once you left his bed.
“Did you want me to?” he asked suddenly.
“Want you to what?”
“Eat you out?”
You shifted a bit on the bed, shy all of the sudden. “Um, only if you want to.”
“Of course I want to, but I wanted to make sure you wanted me to.”
“I don’t know any girl who would turn that down,” you said, half chuckling, then rushed to add, “well there are some people who don’t like it, or prefer other things over it, you know? Or can’t enjoy it because they’re insecure and I mean, I’m not one of those people but-”
“Baby,” Minho cut you off. “A simple yes or no is all I need.”
“Yes. Please.”
Minho grinned and leaned back in to kiss you. “You’re cute.”
You didn’t have it in you to argue so you just pouted as you accepted the kiss. Minho groaned into your mouth, hands coming down to cup your breasts. His thumbs ran over your nipples making you gasp. You got lost in each other for a moment, original goal forgotten until Minho began kissing his way down your neck. He replaced one of the hands on your boobs with his mouth, tongue laving over your nipple just like it would your clit.
You didn’t want to rush him but you were also beginning to feel desperate so you brought a hand to his hair, running your fingers through it before pushing down lightly, trying to signal what you needed. The salt water had left his hair more tousled than usual, leaving it just long enough to fall into his eyes. Even after a shower, it was more wavy than anything. You thought it suited him. Then again, you thought everything suited him.
You weren’t sure how much time passed before Minho finally spoke.
“Want you to sit on my face,” he mumbled against your skin. “Please?”
You sat up a bit, unsure you’d heard him correctly. “Are you serious?”
“Are you going to make me beg?” he asked, not answering the question.
“No, I just… no one’s ever asked me to do that before.”
Minho seemed surprised, likely due to his knowledge of your sexual experience. “Really?”
You nodded. “The guys I usually go for aren’t very-”
“Good in bed?” he supplied.
“Well, yeah. And I’m usually the one asking the girls, so…”
A smirk passed over his face briefly as he processed the information before his expression fell into one of concern again. “Don’t feel like you have to do it just because I want to.”
“No, I know. I’m just a little nervous, I guess.”
“We can stop whenever you want. Just let me know.”
You shook your head and exhaled. “Okay. How should I…”
Minho rolled off of you and onto his back so that you could position yourself on top of him. He helped you straddle his face, big hands rubbing soothing circles on each of your thighs.
“Just so you know, my entire body still feels like jelly from surfing so you’re going to have to do all of the work.”
“I can do that.”
“Are you sure?”
Minho scoffed as if he was offended you’d even ask. “Positive. Do you think I’m weak?”
“N-no! I just-”
“I’ve got you, okay?”
You gulped. “Okay.”
“And that means don’t hover. When I say sit on my face I mean sit. You won’t crush me, if that’s what you’re scared of.”
It was like he could read your mind.
“Ready?” he asked.
“Yes,” you whispered in response.
He coaxed you into lowering yourself little by little until you were close enough for him to taste. You balanced your weight on your knees, still not confident enough to fully rest on him despite his words.
But Minho ended up getting his way in the end because as soon as his tongue touched your pussy, you were suddenly unable to hold yourself upright. You were barely two seconds in and your legs gave out on you, just like you predicted. You weren’t sure why you even tried to ‘hover’ in the first place.
You tried to soften the fall by throwing yourself forward so that at least the top half of your body weight wouldn’t come crashing down on his face but he caught you before your hands hit the mattress and pulled you back on top of him.
“I said not to hover.” It was muffled but you could still make it out.
After that, it was a blur. You couldn’t even worry about whether or not you were suffocating Minho. All you could think about was how fucking good his mouth felt on your cunt.
“Don’t stop, please don’t stop!” you whimpered, still trying to keep your voice down.
Minho could only hum in affirmation but you were sure he would’ve had a thousand cocky lines on the tip of his tongue had the tip of his tongue not been inside of you.
You came hard with a quiet yelp of his name, thighs clenching around his head. He helped you through your orgasm as always, trying to make it as long as possible by encouraging you to ride his face.
You collapsed on the bed as soon as the aftershocks ebbed away, clutching your chest as you tried to catch your breath.
“Fuck, that was so hot,” Minho complimented.
“It… was… hot for me… too.”
He chuckled lightheartedly and reached for his crumpled t-shirt that he’d set against one of the pillows, using it to wipe his mouth and chin before dropping it on the floor. You made a face and he just shrugged, same stupid grin on his face.
“I’m going to wash it.”
You sighed. “I know, just…”
“Figured you wouldn’t want me dripping when I kissed you.”
“Oh, please,” you scoffed and rolled your eyes. “You’re being dramatic.”
“Am I? I think the stain on my pants would say otherwise.”
You didn’t even have time to be mortified because Minho was pressing his lips to yours, effectively erasing whatever you had been about to say from your mind. It was exactly what you’d been afraid of happening but he didn’t seem to mind at all. In fact, he seemed to be even more aroused by it. You could feel how hard he was through his sweats as he rocked his hips against yours, all because of you.
“Don’t be embarrassed about it,” he murmured.
“How did you-”
“Because I know you. And I know you overthink everything. But I think it’s hot, I promise.”
You whined in response, not used to hearing sweet words in bed. His eyes softened as he gazed at you. They were still dark with lust but you could see flecks of fondness peeking through the desire. It made you remember what he said the first time you hooked up.
Who the fuck ever told you to apologize for being turned on?
“I’ll tell you as many times as you need to hear it,” he added with a peck to your nose. “Are you good to keep going?”
You nodded. “Yes, please. Need you.”
“I can tell.”
He was back to teasing you like nothing had happened which was oddly more comfortable. The sincerity of his words had scared you a little, reignited feelings you’d rather not address. It was already hard enough to repress them in intimate moments like these. The thought of Minho actually caring about you was more than you could handle.
“Let me grab a condom,” he mumbled, leaning towards the dresser.
He rifled through the top drawer for one and then shimmied out of his pants and underwear. You laid there motionless as you waited for him to roll one on, still a little out of it from cumming so hard the first time.
“You’re really going to have to do all of the work this time,” you told him. “I can’t feel my legs.”
“Not a problem,” he replied with a wink. “Do you want my fingers first?”
You considered it for a second. You did love his fingers but it was getting late and you both needed to get up relatively early in the morning. And you’d be lying if you said that you weren’t getting impatient for his dick.
“No, just go slow.”
“I’ll go as slow as you need me to.”
You winced as he pushed himself inside of you, hissing through your teeth at the stretch. It wasn’t bad, just a bit overwhelming, but Minho took your reaction as one of pain.
“Sorry, sorry, I’m so sorry,” he grunted. “Should I stop?”
You shook your head. “Keep going.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes. Please keep going.”
He brought one of his hands down to where you were connected and began to rub your clit with his thumb to distract you from the slight discomfort. Soon, all of the feelings bled into pleasure, indistinguishable from each other, and you started pushing your hips up, weakly fucking yourself on Minho’s cock.
“Needy all of the sudden, aren’t we?” he mused.
“Always needy for you,” you moaned back.
You swore you could feel him twitching inside of you as he cursed. “Want me to move?”
“Please…”
He matched your pace in no time, fully taking over for you just like you’d wanted him to. He kept one hand on the headboard, half to keep his balance, half to keep it from banging against the wall. The other hand had moved from your clit to your face, where he was stroking your cheek with his thumb.
It was different than the other times you’d slept together. He was fucking you slow and deep, each thrust making your eyes roll to the back of your head.
“Fuck, how are you always so tight?” he asked.
You were too fucked out to answer. He didn’t seem to mind.
You weren’t sure how much time passed before he stopped suddenly, telling you to hold on for just as a second as he grabbed a pillow from behind you.
“Does that actually work?” you asked, propping yourself up on your elbows so that he could position it under your lower back.
“I’ve read great reviews.” He ignored the way you rolled your eyes. “Lay back down. How’s that?” He gave an experimental thrust, smiling cockily when your jaw went slack and your mouth fell open.
The change in angle allowed the head of his cock to rest against your g-spot, meaning whenever he moved he was hitting it dead-on. every. time.
“Minho, fuck!” you cried.
“Baby,” he warned.
You moaned again and he immediately shushed you. “What did I say about being quiet?” he growled.
“I t-told you that you’d have to figure out a way to make me,” you choked out.
Minho must have taken that as a challenge because as soon as you got the words out he was shoving two fingers into your mouth, making you suck on them. You moaned around them.
“That’s it, darling. Better?”
You nodded to the best of your ability. You wanted to tell Minho how hot he looked, how good he made you feel, how close you were to cumming but you couldn’t do any of that. To be fair, you doubted you’d be able to string a sentence together even if his fingers weren’t in your mouth.
“‘M close,” he admitted, sounding a little embarrassed. You weren’t sure why. He’d lasted a lot longer than a lot of your other partners. If anything it was impressive.
You tried mumbling out a me too but it was difficult with your mouth full. He seemed to get the idea, though and motioned for you to rub your clit to help you get there.
Minho came first, muffling a shout by biting your shoulder. You wished you could see his face, he was always so pretty when he came, but the sting from the bite was enough to throw you into your own orgasm.
Afterward, when you had both stopped trembling and regained enough muscle strength to move, Minho helped you get redressed. He instructed you to raise your arms above your head so that he could pull your shirt back on, laughing with you when your head got stuck.
You found yourself wishing that you could spend the night with him. It would be so nice to be able to fall asleep in his arms, to wake up next to him. You knew you couldn’t. It was just wishful thinking. You weren’t even sure if he wanted the same thing. You had always assumed that this was just sex to him, but his behavior towards you had made you start to think otherwise.
“You should shower,” Minho said softly, breaking the silence. He was suddenly unable to meet your gaze and you didn’t want to think about what that meant. “Got you all sweaty.”
“What about you?” you asked.
“I’ll go after you. We probably shouldn’t…” he trailed off. “Not that I don’t want to-”
“No, I get it,” you said. “Goodnight, Minho.”

Her key wiggled ever so quietly in the door of your shared apartment; she was tired but only she knew that. She silently closed the door behind her and placed her bag in the laundry room for tomorrow's problem. 2:28am on the early morning of Christmas Eve, she was finally home. The small living room was lit alive by the Christmas tree, the golden star shining her path behind the sofa, kicking off her combat boots as she walked. She'd been gone a minute too long, long enough for Fanny to be found curled up on Yelena's side of the bed beside you with her head resting on Yelena's pillow. She didn't mind, she knew Fanny brought you a sense of comfort and safety when Yelena wasn't here.
Fanny's tail wagged to greet the blonde with excitement as Yelena scratched behind her fur friend's ear. "I missed you too" Yelena whispered placing a kiss on Fanny's forehead before her eyes shifted to meet your peacefully asleep face. Soft snores could be heard as you were unaware Yelena had arrived home, but then again, Yelena never liked to wake you when she came home so late. Carefully she reached over and kissed your cheek before taking herself to the bathroom for a quick shower.
The cold draft from the morning snow creeping through your apartment made you stir, pulling the covers closer to you to keep the warmth from escaping. Yelena took that as her sign to get up and turn the heater on. Fanny followed behind her as she made her way into the living room, turning the heater on and giving her body a much needed stretch. It was barely 8am but Yelena knew you'd be awake soon and decided to surprise you with breakfast.
Pancakes in the shape of Christmas reindeer caused a smile to creep onto her lips, she had forgotten about her work, life outside of the apartment. It was Christmas and all she wanted to do was spend it with you. She made two mugs of extra hot coco and set the table.
You woke up with a frown on your brows, Fanny nowhere to be seen. You rubbed your eyes before the smell of batter hit you. "Lena?" You questioned softly, your mind still waking up as you slid out of bed and into your Christmas themed slippers before making your way to the kitchen. Yelena turned and smiled softly at the sight of you.
"Hi detka" she spoke softly, "hungry?" She asked.
You couldn't help but smile in reply as you approached her, wrapping your arms around her in a tight hug. "I missed you!" You said, muffled by her pajamas. She held you tighter, placing a kiss on the top of your head, "I missed you too милый" she replied.
——
The entire day was spent by the fake fireplace you had brought while she was away. Blankets and pillows on the floor while you snuggled closely into Yelena's arms as you introduced the assassin to the many Christmas movies you loved. Her arms wrapped around you with one hand twirling with a lock of your hair, her attention was more on you than the movie playing in the background.
This wasn't her first Christmas, but it was her first Christmas where she truly wanted to be. Her eyes took in the beauty of the lit-up Christmas tree as they dropped to the gifts sitting patiently below, she couldn't help but smile as her eyes ran over the names on the gifts. She was home.
"Lena, put your arm down" you chuckled, distracted by the blondes arm hanging in the air above both of your heads. "I don't know what you're talking about" she replied, shifting your attention from the movie to look up and see her dangling a mistletoe above you both.
"You don't have to ask me twice!" You looked to her and smiled before kissing her softly.
Yelena's arm fell gracefully as she deepened the kiss, forgetting everything she had ever known until this moment. She smiled against your lips, "Merry Christmas" she whispered before crashing her lips against yours once more, pulling you basically on top of her. You smiled against her lips, "what was that about?" You asked with a raised brow as she cupped your face gently with one hand.
"Nothing" she smiled, "I just want to make Christmas as magical for you as you've made it for me" she added, her thumb ever so softly stroking your cheek.
"Baby, just knowing you're in my life is magical to me although, I can't lie, I am so freaking happy I get you home for Christmas" you replied, kissing her once more. "I'm saving the best Christmas movie for last so how do you feel about making a gingerbread house?" You asked before allowing Yelena's stolen past to creep in on her thoughts. All you wanted was to help create many new and happy memories for her to look back on.
"Do I have to eat it?" She asked, reminding you she wasn't a fan of gingerbread. You shock your head with a light chuckle.
"I'm not going to pin you down and force you to eat it!"
"I wouldn't mind it if that's how I was going to eat it" Yelena smirked as you pulled her up off of the floor, "be a good little elf and you might get a surprise" you winked playfully before dragging her gently by the hand towards the kitchen.

True to his word, Prince Taehyung shows up at your door about an hour after you and Namjoon clean up dinner.
After your self-pity-nap, you’d showered and come out fresh. You’d ordered hot tea and buckled down to work, starting to make your way through the thick texts you’d brought from the university, looking for counters that might be relevant to this case.
So, luckily, instead of a puffy-eyed, half-asleep wreck, the prince finds you clean, and caffeinated, and hard at work. Your image remains intact. Hooray for small victories, you think.
“I know your day hasn’t been ideal,” he says sheepishly, hands clasped behind his back. “Do you think a visit to Potato might make you feel better?”
Cute, you think.
“Potato?” Namjoon asks, baffled.
“His amarisca,” you explain. “I sort of fell in love yesterday.”
Your face heats as soon as you’ve said the words; you hope they both know that you mean with Potato, that it’s not a reference to your illogical, absurd, and frankly embarrassing crush on the beautiful, otherworldly prince. Luckily, it seems both men are oblivious to your near misstep.
“You’re welcome to come, too,” the prince offers, turning to Namjoon. “I was just going to walk to my private stables and give her - Potato - some treats. I thought…” he trails off, eyes on your face, like he’s gauging your reaction. “I thought maybe Y/N might benefit from the walk and the fresh air. But of course you’re welcome, too.”
Namjoon’s face goes funny, like he’s doing those puzzle pieces again. “Thank you,” he says slowly, looking at you, not the prince. “But I’ll stay here. I can finish up writing what we were discussing. I agree, the walk will do you good.”
You want to snap at both of them, you don’t know what’s good for me, but you know they don’t deserve it. And you do want to see the amarisca again.
“Let me get shoes,” you murmur, and head for your room. You return with sneakers in hand and in a thicker sweatshirt; the sun has been down for some time and you know the sea air will be chilly.
Prince Taehyung leads you the same way he had the previous night, both in cloaks that you hadn’t noticed him holding until he handed one to you. You clock that Sateul trails you at a respectable distance - close enough to see you, too far to hear you, if she was human. Probably, since she’s not, she can hear every word.
“This feels like a pity walk,” you admit a bit sourly.
Prince Taehyung gives you an indulgent smile. “I feel like you got hit twice today,” he says. “First, my mother frightens you, and then… it can’t have been easy to find out… what you did. That, combined with your little accident the other night… I honestly can’t believe you haven’t packed up to leave already.”
“I thought about it,” you say dryly. But the truth is, you want to work on the curse. You want to see more of the palace, of Infracticus. You want to spend more time with the prince.
“I’m glad you didn’t,” he says quietly.
You wonder if it’s only because he needs you to break his curse. A foolish thought, one that has no place amidst everything else swirling around your head. But still, the thought persists.
Outside, the fresh air soothes you immediately, the temperature is just right, and you can hear the waves and the gulls in the distance. You do feel better, just walking silently side by side. The tension melts from your shoulders, tiny bits at a time.
“This is nice.”
“I’m not such terrible company after all?” he teases, a mischievous smile growing sideways across his face.
You scowl at him playfully. “It wasn’t about you. Today… really sucked. Sorry. But, I think I wanted to just retreat to my space and sulk for a while.”
He takes this in silently for a few strides and then offers, quietly, “I’m sorry again about my mother. I know my promises can’t mean much to you at this point, but her intentions weren’t to hurt you. She felt your magical signature - we all can - and was just curious. She wanted to know how strong it was. She’s… used to just taking what she wants, as I’m sure you can imagine. It didn’t occur to her that it might be frightening or unpleasant to you. I know that’s no excuse, but I hope you’ll forgive us.”
You listen seriously. You’ll forgive him, you think, if only because he is so damn earnest, and his skin looks pretty in the moonlight.
“Thank you,” you murmur, which isn’t an answer, but he lets it slide. Your magical signature. You hadn’t even known you’d had that. You still don’t know what exactly it means.
You walk together a little further, your footsteps joining the shrill gull calls.
Eventually, Taehyung’s stride slows, and he leans his elbows against the stone balustrade, looking wistfully up at the deep purple sky. The periwinkles and violets of the early afternoon have faded to a deep mottled purple, the color of a third-day bruise. You can see that you’re very close to the staircase he’d helped you down the previous night, the ones that lead down to the sand.
The stars literally take your breath away. Taehyung turns to you, grinning.
“Better than above, right?” he asks, pride evident in his tone.
“There are so many,” you whisper, eyes scanning the sky above you. It seems like every time you look away from a spot and then back to it, the number of stars doubles.
You stand side by side in silence, both leaning on the stone wall, eyes on the stars far above you. Finally, Prince Taehyung turns to look at you, frowning just slightly.
“May I ask you something?” he ventures. “I don’t want to upset you… but I’m curious.”
You smile a little wryly at the irony of this admission. You see the pattern from the Queen earlier to the prince now - admitting he may upset you, but entitled to the answer anyway. At least he has the decency to ask first.
“Go ahead,” you tell him. You’re feeling less on edge out here under the stars, with the cool breeze and ocean’s song. Whatever it is, you’ll face it.
“You really didn’t know?” There’s clear disbelief in his voice. Then, he clarifies, “About your magic.”
You shake your head, a stone skipping and sinking heavy in your stomach. “Had no idea,” you say with a sigh. “I really thought… I really thought I earned being good at breaking curses. I thought it was hard work, grit, that kind of thing.”
Understanding dawns on the prince’s face. “Ah,” he says, and then says nothing else.
You narrow your eyes at him. “Ah, what?”
He gives you a guilty smile. “I didn’t understand why you were upset. I imagined any human would be excited to learn that they were… more, that they had more.”
You eye him stonily. “Being human,” you say evenly, “is enough. It isn’t less.”
His eyes widen comically. “No,” he says quickly, waving his hands between you. “I didn’t mean that. It came out wrong. I just meant -”
“I know what you meant,” you mutter. “No, I wasn’t excited to learn that I’m… I don’t even know what to call myself now.”
He presses his lips together and regards you silently. Then, he says tentatively, “Your accomplishments are not erased by this, you know.”
You look sideways at him, listening.
“Having a natural magical ability doesn’t mean you didn’t work hard. Your magic is inherent in you the same way your strong will is, your natural intelligence. They are facets of what makes up who you are. How you wield these things - that’s how you earn your accomplishments. You should not discount it.”
“I guess,” you mutter, but secretly, you consider this. “It’s just going to take some getting used to, I think.”
The prince seems to sense that there’s nothing more to gain from pursuing this topic. He starts towards the steps, helping you down as he had the night before.
At the stable, he places a carrot in your outstretched hand, smiles wide when you let Potato eat it from your flat fingers, her lips tickling your palm. When you press your other hand gently to her snout, her fur soft and warm under your hand, it doesn’t feel like losing a dream, as you’d feared. It feels like stepping into it. Prince Taehyung watches you, eyes twinkling the whole time.
After, you stand at the fence that creates a paddock in the sea, meant to let Potato swim but not too far. The waves crash just feet from you, and you worry absently about your shoes.
Prince Taehyung leans his elbows on the fence next to you. “How was it going, before I interrupted? I could see that you were working.”
You shrug. “I feel like we’re near the end of what we can do with the information we have. Unless you let me observe you while the curse is working -”
He glowers. “I gave you my answer about that already,” he says tightly.
“- or unless I run some rituals with you… there’s not more to find. We’ve got all we can from the texts we brought, too.”
This makes him look at you, something sharp in his gaze. “Do you need to research more?” he asks, tone lightening, like he’s excited to help. “We have a dozen libraries in the palace - I never spend much time there, but I’m sure you’d find something helpful.”
This makes you smile a little. “I can’t imagine being alive for hundreds of years and not using it to read everything I could get my hands on.”
He laughs at this, nose wrinkling as he says defensively, “I have other interests!” As his chuckles die away again he adds, “Reading puts me to sleep. I never get past the first page.”
“What do you do instead?” you ask, genuinely curious.
His grin turns a bit self-deprecating. “Eat, drink, and make merry,” he jokes.
“Seriously!” you scold.
“I mostly am being serious,” he admits. “I socialize. I dance. I’m fond of music - I play many instruments. Sometimes I look at art, sometimes I try to make my own. I have duties as Prince, of course, but generally I find them interesting. I spend my time quite happily.” His expression turns a bit darker and he adds, “Or, I did. Until this.”
You look at him carefully for the first time since you’d first arrived. You’ve only known this version of him - tight-shouldered, a bit serious. You wonder if he was different before the curse - freer, lighter, happier. You imagine he must have been.
“We’ll fix it,” you promise, though you have no guarantee you’ll keep it. Going back to his original question, you add, “I’d like to see the libraries, if we could. A lot of curse-breaking is looking at precedents, seeing what’s worked before.”
“What exactly are you looking for?” he asks. “I don’t know much about the process, to be honest.”
You grimace. “I probably should have explained it to you better from the start. Like I said yesterday - my first step is to uncover each thread of intention in the original curse. Then when you’ve identified every thread, it’s kind of a game of finding the simplest, shortest amount of steps to counter them. Then, of course, actually casting it correctly can be challenging, too.”
He’s quiet for a long time, and after a bit of silence - broken only by the crash of waves - you reach out and gingerly rest your fingertips atop his forearm. Like yesterday, when he’d held your hand down the steps, you thrill at the touch.
“They called me for a reason,” you tell him seriously. “I’ve never failed. Sometimes it takes me a while, and sometimes I have to try more than once - but I’ve never not been able to work it out, eventually.”
He doesn’t say anything, but you watch his throat work as he keeps his eyes on the distant horizon.
“We’ll fix it,” you say again, more determination in your voice this time. “I’ll fix it. Okay?”
Eventually, he sighs and places his other hand on yours, covering it completely. “I have faith in you,” he says, something open in his voice. Like you’ve struggled through the underbrush in the woods and stumbled across a path, the way forward suddenly clear. “I trust you.”
You stay like that a bit longer, acutely aware of his hand on yours, until he sighs and withdraws it, casting a baleful look at the palace above and behind you. “It’s nearing midnight,” he says sadly. “I’d better get to where I belong.”
“Can someone walk me back to my quarters?” you ask, a little embarrassed. “I don’t know the way.”
He furrows his brow at you and reaches for your hand. “Someone?” he repeats, as if offended. “I’m walking you back.”
As if you should have known. As if there were any other option he’d accept.
You aren’t sure what’s happening here. You aren’t sure the purpose of it, the sense of it. But his wavy hair hangs over his browline, his deep eyes are on your face, and that hint of a smile flirts in the corner of his mouth as he waits for you. So you put your hand in his and let him lead you home.
In the morning, when Sateul comes to collect the dishes from breakfast, she informs you, “Prince Taehyung has asked me to accompany you to one of the private libraries today.”
You get ready quickly, though Satuel waits patiently outside your doors, at attention. The walk to the libraries is longer than the ones you’ve been accustomed to, and you notice you’re mostly headed up. In fact, the journey ends with a spiral staircase that almost gives you vertigo; you hold the wall gingerly as you take each step carefully.
This particular library must be at the top of a turret. The view from the windows, peeking between bookshelves, is so phenomenal that you almost forget about your research.
“I’ll be at the bottom of this staircase,” Satuel tells you. “Please call if you need something.”
“I need an ice bath,” you grumble, massaging your aching calves. Beside you, Namjoon shoots you a sympathetic smile.
You spend the whole day there, perusing the bookshelves, pulling out tomes that might prove useful. Satuel brings you lunch at midday, and shortly after the three of you trek halfway across the palace to the nearest bathroom, just to go right back up those same damn stairs when you’re done.
But it’s worth it; it takes all three of you to carry back the books you and Namjoon select, about an hour before dinner will be served.
When you drop the books gently onto the low table in your quarters, Satuel heads back to her post in the corridor, and you and Namjoon look down at your haul.
“Not bad,” you muse.
You settle in, picking up books at random and flipping through to find parts that might be relevant, scanning indexes. When dinner time rolls around, you both put in your order, stopping to eat when the food comes, and then getting right back to work.
Somehow, you aren’t surprised when the prince arrives at your doors, even though he hadn’t promised to come by, not like yesterday.
“I was going to ask if you made it to the libraries,” he says, smiling wryly, “but I can see that you have.”
You can’t help it - you beam. “I want to live up there.”
His smile turns into something playful. “That’s what you said about the seaside, too.”
You consider this. “I would like my seaside home to have a turret library,” you finally declare.
“I’ll work on it,” he teases. Behind you, Namjoon quietly closes the book he was looking through.
“Anyway,” Prince Taehyung says, clearing his throat a little. “Was it fruitful? Are they helpful?”
“I think so,” you say, looking at Namjoon for confirmation. “We’re working through the books we found, writing down the parts that are useful. It’ll take a while, though. We found a lot.”
“Good,” he says, nodding. “Good. I’m glad you’re making progress.”
You think of his silence by the ocean last night, how you’d felt the need to protect him, to reassure him.
“We are,” you say solidly.
He looks at you, tilts his head just slightly. “Can you afford to take a break? I was going to the stable. Namjoon, as always, you are more than welcome. You haven’t seen the amarisca up close, have you?”
“I haven’t,” Namjoon admits. “But I hate to say, I’m not as drawn to magical creatures as Y/N clearly is.”
You press your lips together, wondering if he’s including the prince in that list of magical creatures.
“I’d like to go,” you venture timidly.
You feel a little guilty - this isn’t part of the job, it’s adding nothing to your research, you’re leaving Namjoon behind and he’s looking at you with that knowing gleam in his eyes.
But when you get outside the palace and look at the stars and smell the ocean, and Prince Taehyung holds your hand tightly as you make your way down sea-worn, stone steps… it makes all the bad parts quieter. The fear, the uncertainty, the homesickness, the grief you’ve experienced over the last few days… they don’t seem to cut as deeply when his brown eyes find yours.
And as long as you don’t let yourself think too much about how pointless that is, how he’s crown prince of a land that’s not your home and you’re a nobody from a tiny university town… as long as you don’t think about that… the distraction is nice.
This time, when he leads you down the stairs, his hand feels familiar and right as it closes around yours.
You press a hand gently to the amarisca’s muscly, teal neck, stroking the soft fur there. Prince Taehyung puts his hand atop yours, guiding it down her neck and to the top again, his body pressed close behind yours. You look over your shoulder at him in wonder, and the smile he gives you seems tinged with a sadness that you don’t understand at all.
This time, on the way back, you stop and stare at the stars, and he leans close, close enough that your arms touch as you both look skyward.
This time, as he leads you back up the damp stairs towards the palace, you tug on his hand.
“Why are you doing this?” you ask. Something in you aches to know the truth. “You don’t have to babysit me, you know. I learned my lesson the first day.”
“I told you,” he says, brow furrowing, “I’m invested in your well-being. If you’re unhappy enough to leave, then I’ll never get better.”
You don’t know if you believe him. You wish you would believe him. The alternative is just sad - you’re not stupid enough to think a six hundred year old Infracti with a crown on his head would be interested in a nothing human.
Focus, you think. Focus on why you’re here.
When you return to your rooms, Namjoon looks half-asleep on the couch, the lights low.
“How was your field trip?” he asks, stretching and starting to rise. You realize he’d waited up for you. You’re not sure how you feel about this.
“I feel like I’m spinning in circles,” you admit. “Like I can’t remember what I’m really here for.”
“He’s charming,” Namjoon says carefully, pausing on his path to his bedroom.
You choose not to answer that. “We’ll get to work in the morning,” you say finally. “We’ll see what we can come up with, and we’ll work on getting home.”
You wait until Namjoon’s behind his bedroom door, and you bend down to rifle through the books you’d brought from the library until you find the one you’d hidden in with the others.
Beginner Spells and Magical Theory, something you’d never really studied. Something you’d never thought you needed. Something you hadn’t known was a part of you.
You take the book into your bedroom and sit on the edge of your bed holding it, but you don’t crack it open. Eventually, you slide it under your bed and head for the bathroom.
You’re not ready. Tonight is not the night.
-
Then, like a switch flipped, the prince stops coming to check on you. You don’t see Prince Taehyung - or any of the royal family - for the next two days. You and Namjoon stay in your rooms, books spread across the floor, papers on every surface. On the second day, Satuel takes you to the turret library, saying she has the prince’s permission to let you go there for a change of scenery. But he doesn’t come check in either night.
It’s the morning of the third day of solitude (well, solitude with Namjoon) when you roll dramatically over onto your back, the stone floor cool and solid beneath you, and bemoan to the wooden ceiling, “I think my brain is soup.”
“Soup sounds good,” Namjoon says from his spot about six feet away. Books are open in a full circle around him; he has no path out. It seems like an apt metaphor, you think.
“I’m going to be honest about something,” you say, eyes still on the ceiling.
“When are you ever not?” he quips, but pushes the book he was reading a few inches away and turns to look at you, ready for whatever you’re going to drop on him.
“I think we have everything we’re going to have at this point,” you say, and then struggle to sit up so you can see his reaction.
He frowns at you. “Why does that not sound the same as I think we’re ready?”
You sigh. “I don’t think we’re ready. I don’t think we have everything. But as far as asking the prince questions and researching what we have… I think this is it. We aren’t getting any further.”
Namjoon looks around the books nearest him, still frowning. “What do you suggest?”
You shrug, even though you do have a few ideas. “I think we should try with what we have,” you say. “I can usually get a read from the first attempt - I can tell if we’re on the right track, going in the right direction. I get a good feel for if we need to remove anything, and sometimes I can press for more.”
Namjoon’s eyebrows shoot up. “You want to try a counter-curse? Already? Do you think that’s safe?”
You tap your feet against the stone floor, thinking. “It’s not unsafe,” you say. “It just might not… seem very productive. But, to me, it’ll help. I just need everyone’s trust, I guess.”
He shakes his head. “I trust you… I’m not so sure about the King and Queen. You can’t just cast on the crown prince willy-nilly and hope something comes of it.”
“Willy-nilly,” you repeat with a scoff. “Very academic of you.”
He tosses a pen at you and you let it clatter to the floor after it bounces off your kneecap.
“It’s not willy-nilly,” you defend. “The benefits outweigh the risks, Namjoon. I need some direction, and the magic will point me. What are we going to do otherwise, keep spinning our wheels down here while life carries on without us back home?”
He frowns more deeply, but drops your gaze. Finally he asks, “How confident are you that it won’t hurt him? Or, worse, put you out of commission? You know I can’t do this by myself.”
You ignore this last part. “I’m very confident that at worst one or both of us will need to rest for a day or two. Nothing worse than that.”
You stare at each other in silence, both doing calculations in your heads - risks, benefits, all of it.
“My grandfather put you in charge,” he says finally, and you know a victory when you see one. “If you think that’s the best step, I’ll support you.”
Hours later, after you’ve picked up all the books from the floor, after you’ve compiled all the paper you’d scribbled on and made just one cohesive list of counter-threads, after you’ve showered and changed into something presentable, you stand in a mostly empty room of the palace.
The King and Queen are seated. Namjoon stands just behind your left shoulder, ready to help if things go very wrong. Prince Taehyung stands across from you, looking drawn and nervous.
He can’t be more nervous than you are, you think. Under the King and Queen’s gazes, you feel like a spectacle.
“I would like to reiterate,” you say, holding up a finger, “that I very much do not expect this to actually break the curse today. However, it should cause no serious harm to try, and I expect that when we are done I’ll know if we’ve miscalculated anything, and a direction on what might still be missing.”
“No serious harm,” Prince Taehyung mutters, and you can’t help but smile across at him.
“You’ll be okay,” you promise. “It just might not be… pleasant.”
He grimaces, but remains quiet this time.
You glance at the paper on the small podium to your right, recounting the steps, mouthing the incantations to yourself as if you’re rehearsing.
“Okay,” you say finally, holding up a palm for the prince. “I’m ready when you are.”
He seems to need to collect himself, then presses his palm up to yours and waits, anxious eyes on your face, pretty mouth turned down into a frown.
You begin reciting the opening incantations, the ones that call up your magic - the magic you used to think you pulled from the world around you, that you’re now learning comes from deep within you.
You know when it works, you always do; the feeling is electrifying, thrilling, a euphoria you’ve never felt from anything else. Magic running through your veins like blood makes you feel alive in ways you didn’t know you could before you’d started practicing counter-curses. Now, the electricity runs stronger, as if the magic is magnified by the Infracti touching you.
It occurs to you that this might be exactly the case.
You move onto the next counter-threads, speaking slowly and clearly as you try to untangle the pain, the confusion, the suppression of self that Prince Taehyung experiences each night.
You concentrate on the incantation, but you close your eyes and let yourself feel -  little flickering flame-fingers of magic reaching out and tentatively poking at the mess of magic inside the prince, trying to locate each single thread, ready to tug each one and - ideally - unravel the whole ball.
You know it’s doing something when he flinches, then carefully presses his palm more firmly against yours, like he’s afraid he’s broken the connection.
The tendrils of your magic report back - you can feel where each thread of your countercurse connects to a thread of the curse, ready to pull them out. You can feel just how much is left unconnected.
There’s so much there that your magic hasn’t touched.
The magic sings to you: not enough, it’s not enough, it isn’t enough, it’s not -
The connection breaks as Prince Taehyung’s eyes flash to fathomless black and there’s a split second where you’re afraid you did the opposite of what you intended, called forth the beast. But then his knees buckle and he starts to drop.
The Queen shouts and stands, but your reflexes are fast, too. You have the prince by the elbows and you sink to the ground with him, gently. You feel rather than see Namjoon move closer, ready to help.
By the time you’ve lowered you both to your knees, still clutching his elbows and using all of your core strength to try and hold him upright, he’s back - blinking human-looking eyes at you, fingers twitching and then clutching your arms back.
“That,” he mumbles, “did not feel nice.”
“I know,” you whisper, just for him. “I’m sorry. It’s over now.”
Namjoon makes it to you first, having been standing the closest, and he helps both of you clamber unsteadily to your feet. The King and Queen approach, and you gingerly let go of the prince’s elbows, watching to make sure he’s staying on his feet.
“I suppose it didn’t work,” the King says drolly.
“I’ve got a pretty good idea where to go from here,” you say, and you do. But the prince is unsteady on his feet, fighting to keep his eyes open and alert. To him, you say, “It’s my professional opinion that you need to rest. You aren’t sleeping at night, and your body needs to recover from what happened here.”
“Then I expect an update tomorrow,” the Queen says coolly, and helps Prince Taehyung to the door, where he finally succeeds at waving her off and heads down the hallway, alone.
The King follows his wife to the door and they depart as well, without a look back, let alone a goodbye.
You turn to Namjoon, who is shaking his head at you. “That went well,” he says sarcastically.
“We’re missing threads,” you tell him, certain. “There’s a lot we haven’t uncovered yet. What we have is good - but there’s a lot more. I felt it.”
“So how do we figure that out?” he asks, voice a little rough with frustration.
You miss Dr. Kim. Namjoon has certainly held his own down here, but you and Dr. Kim had a partnership, mutual trust. His expertise outweighed yours - he would have at least had a suggestion at a time like this, not scorn.
“There’s a ritual I can try,” you say, thinking out loud. “If he’ll let me.”
“Considering you just tried to knock him out,” Namjoon says dryly, “I don’t think he’s going to be very agreeable.”
“I’m going to try to convince him anyway,” you say decisively. “And I think I should go by myself.”
“Of course you do,” Namjoon says easily, and your temper flares.
“Another person’s energy will affect the reading,” you snap. “I’ll get your energy instead of his. I don’t care what you think - I know this will work, so I’m going. I’ll see you later, at home.”
You leave abruptly, pissed off, not even registering that you’d called your little rooms home.
Dansoo and Satuel are thankfully just in the corridor, as always, and you request to be taken to the prince’s wing. Satuel brings you, walking in silence ahead of you. When you reach the prince’s doors, she waits with you while one of his personal guards slips inside to ask if he’ll see you.
You’re honestly surprised when she returns and invites you in.
You find Prince Taehyung on the same couches you’d sat on your first night here, after Jimin had brought you to these rooms.
“I knew you wouldn’t rest,” you say, and he turns to look at you. His face is unreadable, blank - even his humanlike eyes give nothing away.
“This is resting,” he says evenly.
You shake your head. “You should try and sleep.”
He turns away again, a defeated slump to his shoulders. “I can’t seem to,” he admits.
You frown, watching him carefully. “May I sit?” you ask. He holds out a hand towards the empty couch opposite him but doesn’t look at you.
You sit gingerly. “I’m sorry for what just happened,” you tell him seriously. “I know it was unpleasant.”
“It was,” he agrees, his voice tight and measured.
“What did it feel like?” you ask.
His shoulders tighten. “Like I could feel you poking around behind my ribs,” he says shortly. “And then it hurt.”
“I’m sorry it hurt you,” you murmur. You want to reach out and touch his arm, as you had a few nights ago next to the sea and under the stars, but something stops you. “I want you to know that it wasn’t my doing. The curse… protects itself, let’s say.”
This makes him turn to look at you. “The curse caused that,” he paraphrases, clearly unconvinced.
You nod. “I could feel my counter-threads connecting, and I could feel the threads we hadn’t made connection to yet,” you explain slowly. “But magic knows to protect itself. When I started trying to feel for those unconnected pieces of the curse, it - sort of kicked me out?”
He frowns. “Was it a waste of time, then?”
“Not at all,” you say quickly, encouraged. “What we just did confirmed which threads we identified correctly, and that there are some more to uncover.”
He takes this in silently for a few minutes. Then, he asks, “And, can we uncover the rest?”
“That’s why I came,” you admit. “There’s a ritual I’ve done… its purpose is to identify what’s in there.”
He scowls. “Why didn’t we do that from the beginning?”
You purse your lips, then try to explain. “Rituals like this… are always inherently risky. It’s better to figure out what you can with logic and magical theory before resorting to this.”
“Risky,” he echoes flatly. “Is it going to hurt again?”
You grimace. “It hurt a lot, huh?”
His jaw juts, just a bit. “Enough that I’m not eager to experience it twice in one day,” he says, a bit of haughtiness coming into his voice. He’s his mother’s son, indeed.
“It won’t hurt you,” you say quietly. “But there does need to be a level of trust - of allowing my magic to poke around, as you put it.”
He doesn’t answer this. He seems to wobble where he sits. Then, he lifts his tired eyes to you. For a moment, he lets you see the exhaustion, the fear, the hopelessness. He looks desolate, nearly frail.
Then, something closer to anger slides onto his face, replacing the vulnerability you were sure you were seeing. “I haven’t slept in many days,” he says, not answering your question at all.
“I’m sorry,” you murmur. “You should try. You need to rest.”
He blinks heavily, shoulders sagging. When he opens his eyes to look at you again, they’re wet and black, no longer magicked to seem human. Something hard takes over his voice, and he asks, “Can you help me? Can you make me sleep, venefici?”
“Yes,” you whisper, rising. “I can at least try.”
He closes those black eyes again, leans sideways until he’s laying down, knees bent.
You place your hands on his elbow and close your own eyes, feeling the magic rise up to you. Small spells like this were not your area of study, but you think you can manage. You at least know what to do.
It takes no time at all - less than a minute. His breathing deepens, his fingers twitch once. He is so beautiful like this, it’s hard to look at him. You remove your hand carefully and step away.
Prince Taehyung just called you witch.
Namjoon is waiting for you when you return.
“How’d it go?” he asks, sounding like he means it, even though you’d sort of argued before you left.
“I told him about the ritual,” you say, sinking onto the couch and dropping your head into your hands, emotionally spent. “He’s considering it.”
He looks at you appraisingly. “You don’t sound very happy about it,” he observes.
You sigh. “He’s just… not feeling great, from earlier. It’s fine.”
You sit there for another minute, your eyes on the ground, while he watches you, as if he might get more information out of you if he just waits it out. Finally you mutter, “I’m gonna get ready for bed,” and you slink off to your private rooms.
It’s ironic. After using your magic to help the prince find sleep for the first time since his curse began, you lay awake, unable to help yourself at all.

summertime was just around the corner. you hadn’t seen yunho since you left cancún and it broke your heart everyday you weren’t with him. you texted and talked everyday though despite the time difference. it wasn’t the same as being with him: touching him, kissing him, hugging him, fucking him.
it was nighttime where you were so after a long day you were in bed trying to sleep but you couldn’t. you wished you were in bed with your boyfriend. you wished he was here. without much reluctance you found his contact and pressed the facetime button.
the phone rang twice before he picked up with a smile, “hey baby. shouldn’t you be asleep?”
“i can’t sleep. i miss you too much,” you pouted and yunho chuckled, running his fingers through his hair. you missed playing with his hair.
“i miss you too, baby,” he told you. “did you get the presents i sent you?” he asked with a smirk on his lips.
you nodded, panning the camera down to show him. it was a gold necklace with his initial dangling from it on a pendant. you then lifted your leg up to the camera so he could see the other piece of jewelry: a gold anklet with his initial also dangling from it. they came in the mail this morning. “they’re so pretty. i love them.”
“and i got this to match it,” he pulled down the collar of his shirt to show you a gold chain with your initial. your heart skipped a beat. he was so thoughtful and just the thought of him walking around with your initial so close to his heart almost made you tear up. the fact that everybody knew who he belonged to was an added plus but you wouldn’t tell him that.
“i love you,” you told him.
“and i love you,” yunho said, blowing a kiss to the camera. “you need to get some sleep. i’ll talk to you tomorrow, okay?”
“can we stay on just a little bit longer? i like hearing your voice,” you admitted. you were completely and utterly fucking whipped and you loved every second of it. who better to be whipped for than him?
yunho chuckled, “sure, babe.”
you talked for a few more minutes until yunho told you to go to sleep. you exchanged one more “i love you” before hanging up. you rolled over in bed, staring up at your ceiling while your thoughts were plagued with everything yunho. his smile, his face, his voice, his scent, his dick. you were going crazy without him. you didn’t think you could take another week of not seeing him. hell, you didn’t think you could take another day. you brought your hand to your neck and fidgeted with the golden ‘y’ around your neck until you fell asleep.
you didn’t even get a chance to have breakfast before your phone was ringing with a facetime call from your beloved boyfriend. sitting up in bed, you pressed the green button.
“didn’t we just talk?” you teased him
“yeah but now it’s my turn to go to bed and i wanted to talk to you before i did,” he admitted and you giggled, heat rushing to your cheeks. “and you look cute in the morning.”
“just in the morning?” you asked, finally getting out of bed and making your way to the bathroom to start your day.
“nah, you look cute in the morning but the rest of the day you look sexy,” he told you matter of factly. you nodded in understanding, propping your phone up on your sink so he could watch you as you washed your face and brushed your teeth.
“can i be honest?” yunho asked you, sinking even more into his comfy looking bed. you nodded, drying your face. “i want you so bad right now.”
you froze, “what?”
“i want you. i miss you, baby. i wanna fuck you,” yunho told you with the slightest hint of a moan.
it wasn’t uncommon for him to be so bold so you weren’t sure why you were so rattled. maybe it’s because you’d just woken up not too long before and your brain was still trying to catch up with the rest of your body. he smirked at your doe eyed expression, knowing he had you exactly where he wanted you.
“you wanna help your man with something?” he questioned you
“yes. anything,” you responded meekly.
“that’s a good girl,” the praise that left his lips went right to your pussy. “go back to your bed for me,” his voice was low and raspy. you did as told going back to lay on your bed. yunho smiled at how good you were for him and gave you another instruction. “take off your shirt.”
it wasn’t the first time you and yunho had phone sex. even though you were apart, both of you had needs and what better way to take care of them than over a facetime call. you pulled your shirt over your head, dropping it off the side of your bed. you panned the camera down so that yunho could see your pretty tits and your pretty brown nipples.
“they’re so pretty, baby. so perfect,” he praised you before propping his phone up so you could see what he was doing. his hand was palming the bulge beneath the fabric of his sweats and you could see just how hard he was. “play with them for me, mama. show me how you want me to touch you.”
you propped your phone up too. you began to play with your breasts like he’d asked, taking the mounds of flesh in your hands and kneading them like he’d done on so many of those hot cancún nights. you moaned, fluttering your eyes shut as you recalled how good his hands felt on your body. you pinched your nipples with your pretty manicured fingers and yunho grunted. you opened your eyes again to see that he pulled his dick out of his pants and was steadily stroking himself while he watched you.
“that feel good?” he asked and you hummed in response with a nod. “you want more?”
“yes, yunnie.”
“take off your thong. let me see you.”
he watched you as you pulled the thin piece of fabric off and threw it to join your shirt on the floor. you leaned back into your pillows and opened your legs for him to see the wet mess he created. yunho sucked in a breath, his hand beginning to pump faster up and down his dick. you trailed your pretty manicured hand down your body to your pussy. your middle finger found your clit and you gasped at the contact.
“you’re so fucking pretty and perfect. fuck baby,” yunho praised you some more. it encourages you to rub your clit even faster. you moaned out, yunho returned the gesture. yunho’s strokes matched the pace of the little figure eights you were rubbing into your clit. both of your moans were whiny and desperate. it was so obvious you guys needed each other.
“i need you inside me so bad,” you whined out and just like that yunho finally let go cumming all over his fist. you kept rubbing yourself until you came with a breathy moan.
when your heartbeat went back to normal and the ringing in your ears stopped, you lazily reached for your phone. you gave yunho a smile that he returned. you both cleaned up, yunho was relaxed in bed when you finally spoke to him.
“i want to have sex with you for real. i can’t take this anymore,” you complained, dramatically falling back onto your bed.
yunho chuckled, “i know baby. i do too.”
“i wanna come visit!” you told him with a pout. he smiled again at how adorable you were. he just adored you so much.
“you sure you wanna come here instead of me coming to you?” he inquired
“yes! i’ve never been to korea. i wanna come yunnie,” you gave him those pretty, brown puppy dog eyes that you learned he could never say no to. you batted your eyelashes for added effect.
“alright, baby girl. if that’s what you want. i’ll buy you a ticket,” he agreed and you squealed in excitement, hiding your face in your pillow. you were gonna see him again after three months.
“i can’t wait to see you, boo,” you told the man on the other end of the phone.
“i can’t wait to see you.”
yunho hated that you were traveling alone. he was so anxious the whole day, all he could think about was you and your safety. that’s why he would’ve preferred if he came to you, but he knew you could handle yourself. that sentiment didn’t make him any less anxious though. he called and texted you at every opportunity to check up on you.
you smiled whenever his name popped up on the screen. you texted him back almost immediately every time to tell him you were okay. you loved how caring he was and that you being comfortable and safe was his top priority. traveling by yourself to a completely different country was scary but he made it so much easier. you loved him so much and you couldn’t wait to see him.
you landed in south korea finally after being on a plane for what felt like days. you were anxious to get off the plane and meet yunho inside the airport. you made it through baggage claim and then headed to the pick up area to meet yunho. you didn’t see him at first to your dismay, he should be easy to spot. you stood on your tiptoes to search over the heads of the people who were probably also searching for their loved ones.
“looking for someone?” a voice from behind you asked. a voice you’d come to love. you turned around and literally jumped into his arms. yunho squeezed you so tight you almost couldn’t breathe but you loved every second of it.
“i missed you so much,” you murmured, your face buried in the crook of his neck.
“i missed you,” he said back to you. he sat you back down on the ground and gave you a once over before giving you a sweet kiss on your lips. “c’mon,” he grabbed the handle of both of your suitcases in one hand and your hand in the other. “let’s get you home so you can rest.”
home. it sounds so good falling from his lips. you nodded, walking with him back to where he parked his car. you were almost taken back by how expensive it looked. it was an all black sports car, even the rims for his tires were blacked out. the windows were so tinted you couldn’t even see inside. you knew yunho had money but now it’s really dawning on you that he had money. maybe that expensive purse he got you for a gift should’ve been the first clue, or the gold pieces of jewelry around your neck and ankle. hell, the gold piece of jewelry around his neck too. you couldn’t lie and say you didn’t like it though. a loving and caring boyfriend and he’s rich too? what girl would hate that?
yunho put your suitcases and carry on in his trunk and then opened the door to the passenger side for you. you thanked him before sliding inside the cushy sports car. the interior was just as expensive looking as the outside, with dark red leather seats with black trimming. his car smelled like him, it relaxed you. you were finally with him after months of not seeing him. it was surreal. it’s like it wasn’t even happening. yunho got on the driver’s side and offered you his phone to play whatever music you wanted to play.
“you must really love me, huh?” you asked the man as you scrolled through all of his saved songs. none of them looked appealing enough to you though so you decided on an old r&b song your mom used to play for you.
“you know i do,” he replied. he grabbed your hand and kissed the back of it so gently you felt like you were going to melt into a puddle right there in that seat. he stole a quick glance at you, his eye catching the gold necklace around your neck and the way it danced in the sunlight. yunho loved the fact that everybody knew who you belonged to. he’d never tell you that though.
“last time we were in a car together we ended up fucking on the hood,” you pointed out to your boyfriend. he glanced at you again, this time with a smirk splayed on his pretty lips.
he used one of his hands to squeeze your thigh, “wanna go for round two?”
you pushed his hand off of you playfully, “you’ll get some pussy later.”
“you know i’ll always wait for you, baby.”
he always knew exactly what to say to make your heart skip a beat. nobody has ever made you feel the way he did, so loved, adored, and happy. you’ve only known him for a few months but it feels like you’ve known him for years.
surreal was the word of the day because that’s how you felt walking through yunho’s apartment. you’d only ever seen it via facetime calls and the pictures he sent you from various places in the apartment. the common area alone was huge, with a big ass flat screen tv mounted on the wall, a very big couch, a ping pong table situated in the corner of the room, and glass paned windows that made the room seem even more open. it was clean too, cleaner than you left your apartment before coming here. you wondered if he cleaned it himself.
“let me show you upstairs,” he grabbed your hand and your suitcase again, leading you upstairs to his room. the room you’d seen on facetime so many times you were sure you’d seen every inch. the bed was just as big as you imagined and you were excited to be sharing a bed with him again after all these months. “the bathroom is in there if you wanna shower.”
“can you join me?” you asked him
“i can’t promise i’m gonna keep my hands to myself,” he warned you
“who said i wanted you to?” your voice was low and seductive. it reminded yunho of the first time you ended up in bed together. just that question had blood rushing to his dick.
the shower really did start off as a shower. it took a turn when yunho pressed himself against you, his hard dick on your back making you shudder, “you think your little pussy can still take me after all this time?” his lips were on your ear as he massaged circles into your hips.
“it’s yours so i think so,” you teased the man. you pushed yourself back on him making him grunt and dig the pads of his fingers into your hips that he was previously massaging. he pressed you against the cool tile of his shower and smashed his lips into yours. it didn’t take long for him to reach between your bodies, lips still on yours, to start rubbing your clit. you moaned into his mouth before you pulled away so you could look him in his eyes while he played with you.
“your pussy miss me as much as you did?” he asked you. you were about to reply but the words didn’t even get a chance to slip past your lips before he was pushing one of his long fingers into your pussy. you threw your head back with a loud whine. “you’re sucking it right up, baby. did you miss my fingers?”
“yes.”
he stuffed another finger inside of you, scissoring you open so good you were seeing stars. “your fingers can’t make you feel this good huh?” he curled them inside of you and you could feel the pads of his fingers massaging that spot so deep inside you. it felt so fucking good. he was right about your fingers. your fingers weren’t long enough to reach where his could. that’s why it was so frustrating not being able to fuck him whenever you wanted. you couldn’t get yourself off the way yunho can. “answer me, sweetheart.”
“no,” you began, losing your thought halfway through when he started fingering you faster. even over the loud splattering of the warm shower water you could hear the squelching of your wet pussy. “yunho. please don’t stop.” you begged him. your hand wrapped around his wrist in an attempt to make sure he didn’t stop like you’d asked. you were getting so close to your orgasm and you’d be damned if it got ripped away.
he didn’t stop. in fact, he sped up. you cried out his name with a loud moan that had yunho moaning right along with you. your hands went to grip his biceps as your pussy fluttered helplessly around his two fingers. “you gonna cum on my fingers?”
“mhm. i’m gonna cum for you,” you told the man. he kept up that brutal pace on your pussy, fingering you and murmuring praises to you until you were cumming all over his fingers with a moan so loud you were almost sorry for his neighbors. yunho pulled his fingers from your pulsing pussy and wasted no time taking the digits in his mouth to suck them clean.
“just as sweet as i remember you, princess,” yunho hummed
you didn’t even get a chance to recover from your orgasm before yunho was rubbing his tip through your folds. he took his bottom lip between his teeth, centering himself because he knew if he was too hasty he was gonna cum fast. he continued to rub himself through your folds and finally, finally he pushed in. the gasp that he let out almost didn’t sound like it came from the deep voiced man. it was more whiny and desperate than you’d ever heard him.
“i missed you and this pussy so much.”
no words left your mouth because yunho started rocking his hips into you, turning everything that came from your throat into a sweet symphony of moans. you wanted to tell him how much you missed him but you guessed the way your pussy was sucking him in was enough for him. he kissed you, swallowing every moan that came from your mouth.
“that feel good, babe?” yunho asked, snapping his hips into you, his tip hitting your sweet spot so fucking good it brought tears to your eyes.
“s-so good, yunnie,” you slurred, eyes rolling into the back of your head.
“you feel so good, baby. can i cum in you?” he asked and your pussy fluttered around his dick. “you like that? want me to cum in this pussy?”
“please,” you choked out, eyes teary. “please cum in me. i missed you.”
yunho’s fist couldn’t compare to the way your pussy felt. you were wrapped so tight around him, your moans and whimpers descending onto his ears, and the way your pretty face was screwed up in pleasure. he still didn’t want to cum just yet, it was too early. so he slowed the fast pace of his thrusts which made you let out a groan of frustration.
“stop holding back, yunnie,” you complained, purposefully clenching around him. yunho hissed, his hands dropping down to hold your hips.
“i don’t wanna cum yet.”
you whined again, “please. i wanna feel it. i wanna feel you.”
just the utterance of that sentence made yunho let go of his restraints and pound into you with no remorse. you screamed his name, your pussy squeezing him so tight he almost couldn’t move inside of you. you were getting close too. yunho didn’t stop his movements until both of you were cumming together with pants and breathy moans.
“i missed you so bad,” you told him. you laid your head on his wet chest while you caught your breath.
“i missed you too, baby.”
finally out of the shower, yunho was all over you again. this time it wasn’t sexual though. he just wanted to touch you and be near you but simultaneously that’s all you wanted too. so you let him touch you and kiss you and rub you while you lie in bed with him. it felt good to be there with him. in his bed, with sheets that smelled just like him. you didn’t think you’d be able to take it when you had to catch your flight home at the end of the summer but you refused to let those thoughts in and ruin the moment.
“surely our itinerary this entire summer isn’t just having sex and laying in bed,” you teased your boyfriend, climbing on top of his body and straddling it.
he put his hands on your hips, because he just had to be touching you in some way, “of course not. i wanna show you around and take you to all my favorite places and the guys said they wanted to see you again. i promise i have a lot planned. i just figured your first day here you would want to relax.”
“you know me so well because if you would’ve tried to take me out today after that long ass flight i would’ve killed you,” you told him, pinching his cheeks between your thumb and index finger.
yunho just chuckled and squeezed your hips in his soft hands before replying, “like you said, i know you so well.”
when tomorrow came, yunho took you out to show you around the city. he showed you all of his favorite spots, bought you korean street food, and took as many pictures of you as he could. he knew you weren’t leaving any time soon but he still wanted to cherish every memory he made with you. he loved you. in fact, you’re the only girl he’s ever loved deeply. to think he met you only such a short time ago.
“you know you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me?” yunho told you as you walked hand in hand down the busy streets of seoul.
“really?” you asked him
“really,” he confirmed.
“you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me,” you told him with a smile.
it was dark when you finally made it back to yunho’s apartment. you kicked your shoes off of your tired feet the moment he opened the door and plopped down dramatically on the couch. yunho chuckled but followed suit.
“i had so much fun today, yunnie.”
“good. it’s all for you,” he punctuated his sentence by giving you a soft kiss on the lips.
“when you come visit me in the states i’ll show you around my city too,” you told him.
“can’t wait.”
it’s been a week now since you’ve been in korea. you’ve seen his friends who were more than happy to see you, he showed you around seoul some more, and you’ve been having so much sex you were surprised you could still feel your legs. it was like cancún all over again, it felt different this time though. this time it felt… permanent. this time you knew you’d see him again. you found comfort in that.
“what’s on your mind, sweetheart?” yunho asked you, pulling you from the thoughts swirling in your head.
“you,” you replied smoothly without missing a beat. the tips of yunho’s ears turned red and a light blush dusted his cheeks. you knew how to get him flustered just like he did you.
“you think about me a lot?” yunho asked you, trying to play off the effect you had on him.
“mhm,” you confirmed with a nod.
“when do you think about me?” yunho asked you
“when i wake up in the morning, before i go to sleep, in the shower, literally all the time.”
“and when else do you think about me?” yunho questioned that familiar glint in his eyes. the glint that meant he was getting ready to fuck you until you couldn’t think straight anymore.
“when i’m horny. when i’m fucking myself with that pink dildo you like so much. i think about you when i cum all over it and how much i wish it was your dick i was cumming on instead,” your voice was low and sultry like how it was every time you were trying to seduce him. it worked like a charm every time. “do you think about me?”
“yeah,” he began. “i think about you when i’m brushing my teeth, when i’m eating. i even dream about you,” he finished. “i think about you when i’m fucking my hand and how much i wish it was your pussy.”
“do you say my name when you cum?” you asked him
“of course i do. do you say mine?”
“duh!” you replied.
it was silent but only for a few seconds before yunho broke it, “come here.” he beckoned you closer to him with his hand. you complied with his wishes coming closer to him.
“what?” you asked him softly, crawling into his lap. you knew what. you could feel how hard he was by just sitting there. you knew what he wanted.
he didn’t answer, he only started to rub his hands up your sides and on your back just how you liked. he took it a step further when his hands trailed down to roughly grip your ass. you jolted forward in surprise and yunho chuckled.
“was that too rough for you, princess? i’m sorry,” his apology was insincere. he knew exactly what the fuck he was doing because this time he landed a smack on it. you jolted again, a soft moan leaving your lips. he used his hand to soothe the light sting cooing apologies in your ear. “i’m sorry baby. it’s just so fat i can’t help myself.”
“stop teasing me. i wanna fuck,” you complained, nuzzling your head in the crook of his neck. yunho went back to caressing your body gently like he was before.
“do something for me first,” yunho said.
you lifted your head up, “anything.”
he lifted you off of him with ease and sat you on the bed, “lay on your stomach and face me.” so you did. you laid on your belly with your head hanging off the bed to face him, “you’re such a good girl.” yunho praised you.
he pulled his sweats and briefs down, his dick flopping out almost hitting you in the face. yunho grabbed himself and ran the pretty pink tip over your lips.
“open,” he told you.
you slowly unhinged your jaw taking his dick into your mouth. he grunted, bucking his hips up causing you to choke around him. in retaliation you slapped his thigh but that only made him fuck into your mouth even more. the sounds that came from you were music to yunho’s ears. he looked down to see how messy your face had become, for some reason it made his heart flutter. he pulled out of your mouth for a moment to give you a breather.
“so messy,” yunho teased. he took his thumb to gently wipe around your mouth and then he pushed it past your lips for you to suck on. “that’s a good fucking girl. so good with your mouth.”
you released his thumb with a popping sound before opening your mouth and sticking your tongue out. yunho took the invitation, slapping his dick on your tongue then diving right back into your mouth. his thrusts were shallow at first. they quickly sped up until you were choking around him again. he held your head still while he used your throat to get off.
“fuck, fuck, fuck,” he hissed. he grabbed your hair in his hand and pulled you off. “i don’t wanna cum yet. i wanna cum inside you.”
you’d created a monster letting yunho hit it raw your last night in mexico together. now all he wanted to do was cum inside of you whenever he had the chance. you liked it just as much, though. you loved the way he flooded your insides and you loved the way he fucked his load into you even more. if it weren’t for the birth control you were on you would’ve been pregnant by now.
yunho pulled you up by your arm and proceeded to take your lips in a bruising kiss. it was nothing but a mess of tongues, spit, and teeth. he didn’t stop kissing you; not even when he laid you down on the bed. he laid on top of you, lips still on yours. soon his kisses trailed down to your neck. there were already hickeys there from earlier this week, yunho added more. your moans were so sweet. so pretty. he grabbed the bottom of your shirt and pulled the piece of clothing over your head. his kisses trailed down to your breasts. he took his time giving each one attention. he kissed down your body until he made it to the band of your underwear.
“lift up, baby,” he instructed you. you did as told, lifting your hips up off the bed. he slid your underwear down your legs, and threw them somewhere in the room that was none of your concern right now. not when he was between your legs about to eat your pussy until you were shaking. “you’re nice and wet for me.”
you couldn’t respond because he’d already dove into your dripping pussy. you gasped at the way his tongue was already slurping up everything that had dribbled out of you. your hand flew to fist his hair while he ate you out.
“fuck, yunho!”
his lips closed around your clit to suck on it. you screamed out as you writhed against his face covering it in all of your juices. yunho looked up at you while his mouth was busy making you cum. you looked so hot like this, he thought. your eyes were closed and you were squeezing your breasts in your hands. he took it a step further. he pushed his tongue in your tight hole making you gasp.
you arched your back off the bed, “you are so fucking—.” your words were cut short when you felt yunho’s thumb push into your asshole. “—nasty! fuck keep doing that, yunnie please!”
with his thumb still in your ass and his tongue still busy on your pussy you could feel how close you were to cumming.
“yunho, please please please!” you chanted as your eyes crossed and your body seized up. your orgasm hit you with full force. you squirmed, gasped, and tried to close your legs around your boyfriend’s head but he just kept going until your climax fizzled out.
he came from between your legs, face shiny with your juices, “you taste so good. wanna taste?” you nodded eagerly, grabbing him by his chain and pulling him in for another filthy kiss. you could taste yourself all over his lips, all over his tongue, and you needed more of him.
your body was still shaking from your orgasm. yunho chuckled, “what’s funny?” you asked
“you’re shaking. was it that good, baby?” he laughed before peppering kisses all over your face.
“it was amazing, yunnie. i want more.”
yunho was on top of you again in seconds. he teased you first by running his tip through your folds and tapping it on your clit. he pushed into you in one swift motion, bottoming out. his chain with your initial was dangling in your face while your anklet with his initial was dangling by his ear. it was as erotic as it was romantic. he started slow at first because he knew you were probably still sensitive from your previous orgasm.
“faster,” you told him.
he sped up his pace, watching as your breasts bounced with every stroke. he’d never get tired of this view no matter how many times he found himself buried inside of you. you cried out to him, reaching to grab his hand in yours while he fucked you. you squeezed it when you felt just how fucking deep he was in your guts. it almost felt like he was touching your cervix.
“you’re so deep, yunho,” you whimpered.
yunho put his free hand on your tummy to feel the way his dick was thrusting in and out of you, “can you feel me right here, baby girl?” he pressed down on your tummy. you gasped, squeezing his other hand again.
“feels so fucking good.”
“how about i give you a baby so you can’t leave me and go back home?” yunho asked. you moaned so loud at his words to yunho’s delight and you squeezed his hand and dick. “yeah? you want that? fuck a kid into so you have to stay?”
“yes, yes please yunho. wanna have your baby,” you rambled not even completely sure of what you were saying because of how good he was making you feel. yunho grunted at the feeling of you squeezing around him and the words that were coming from your pretty lips.
“that’s a good girl. tell me you want me to knock you up,” yunho said. his hips never stopped pounding. he leaned down to really press you into the mattress and fuck you even deeper into it. his face was buried in the crook of your neck, placing kisses on the already blemished flesh. “say it.”
“w-want you to knock me up. wanna make you a—fuck— a daddy!” you cried out in pleasure. “fuck i think i’m cumming!” your eyes rolled back and you dug your heels into his spine as you creamed all over his dick.
“good fucking girl,” yunho praised you. “wanna be a mommy?”
“please,” you whimpered beneath him. yunho kept fucking into you until he deposited his own cum deep into your womb. you were out of breath when he pulled out of you and rolled over next to you.
“you okay? was that too much?”
“it was perfect, yunnie. i loved every second.”
it was nearing the end of july which meant soon your summer with your boyfriend would be over. you didn’t want it to end, you didn’t want to go back home and have to deal with only seeing him through facetime. you loved sharing a bed and an apartment with him. you thought seriously about just moving in with him no matter how big of a change it was going to be. you just wanted to be with him, so you proposed the idea to him on your last night there.
“what if i moved here and lived with you?” you asked, pushing his bangs out of his eyes.
“woah,” he began. he took one of his large hands and placed it on your tummy. “did i get you pregnant?” he finished, a proud smile on his face.
you shook your head, “not yet, baby,” yunho pouted. you laughed, grabbing his face in your hands. “we can have a baby later. i wanna move here because i hate being away from you. it sucks not being able to kiss you and hug you whenever i want.”
“babe moving to another country is a huge step. i can’t let you do that.”
you sucked your teeth and dropped your hands from his face to cross your arms over your chest, “but i want to! i wanna be here with you, yunho. i love waking up next to you every morning. i love being able to be with you whenever i want. i love you.”
“you can’t move here because…” he trailed making you bounce in anticipation. “i already bought an apartment in the states for us to live together,” yunho informed you and you felt like you stopped breathing.
your jaw dropped, “you what?”
“i’ve been planning this for a while, baby. like before you even came to visit. i was telling my mom how much i missed you and she told me to just go for it. so i went for it.”
“yunho,” your voice cracked before tears started to spill down your cheeks.
“don’t cry, honey,” he said, wiping your tears with his thumbs. “i love you too and i don’t want to be anywhere where you aren’t.”
more tears started coming until you were sobbing. nobody ever loved you this much. it was overwhelming. it was too fucking much. yunho cooed at you, wiping every tear away.
“calm down, sweetheart,” yunho cooed. he pulled you into his chest until you stopped crying.
“i’m sorry it’s just a lot take in.”
“it’s okay baby. don’t apologize,” he assured you. he kissed the crown of your head, “so are you ready to move in with me?”
you nodded at him, wiping the last remnants of your tears away, “i am.”
“do y’all think we’re moving too fast?” you asked your homegirls as they helped you pack up what was left of your old apartment.
“it’s too damn late to be asking that now. like this damn apartment not empty,” one of them replied, packing the last of your things in a box.
your other friend shoved her, “i think you’re doing just fine, mama. i think it’s romantic, ya know? i mean what nigga you know that’s gonna move all the way across the world for you?”
“not a lot.”
“exactly! everything is gonna be fine and even if it’s not; you live and you learn. but i think you’re gonna be fine!” she encouraged you. “and all you gotta do is keep fucking him because obviously whatever you got between them legs has that nigga at your feet.”
you shoved her this time, “shut up!”
“it’s true! keep putting it on him like that and in a few months you’re gonna be pregnant or engaged. or both.”
the thought of marrying yunho and having his kids had warmth blossoming in your chest. you could see it: yunho waiting on you hand and foot while you carried his baby and a pretty diamond ring on your finger. it was insane to even think about this so early in your relationship, you knew that. that didn’t stop the daydreaming though.
“almost ready, baby?” yunho asked, coming into your now empty bedroom.
“yeah, this is the last box,” you told him as you taped it closed. he grabbed the box from your hands, “i don’t know how someone so little who lives by herself can have so much shit.”
“whatever bro. just take the box to the truck,” you replied and playfully pushed him towards the door.
“he looks at you like you’re the only person in the room, girl,” your friend gushed. “i think y’all are gonna be just fine.”
yunho refused to let you see the new place until you went together. he wouldn’t show you any pictures or even tell you the damn address all he gave you was the key. even when you pulled in front of the building he made you close your eyes and made you promise not to peek. as much as it killed you, you didn’t. he led you inside, up to your floor via the elevator, every once in a while peering back at you to make sure you weren’t looking.
you heard the key turn in the lock and the door creak open, “open your eyes.”
you fluttered your eyes open, blinking a few times to adjust them to the light. when you finally focused you were in awe. it was a beautiful penthouse, with windows that overlooked the city, sleek tiled floors, a fireplace on a wall in the living room.
“jesus christ, yunho! how much did you spend on this place?” you asked him still looking around the huge space that was only just the living room.
“don’t worry about that. do you love it?”
“of course i love it! it’s perfect!”
you went deeper into the house to explore with yunho behind you. the kitchen was just as grand, as were the bedrooms, the bathrooms, and the terrace where you could see the skyline. it made yunho happy to see how in awe you were of the house he bought for you. he knew it was too soon for something this big but he knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with you. he knew that deep down you were the one and he’d be damned if he was gonna let you slip away.
“i love you, yunho.”
“i love you, _____.”

CHAPTER ONE
Chapter Two
This is going to be fun.
That was what he’d told you, and you hadn’t been able to stop thinking about it since. You hadn’t been able to stop thinking about him.
As you laid in bed that night, you wondered where he was, you wondered what he was doing. What had he meant when he told you that he liked you? Did you even want to be liked by him? The more you thought about it, the more you realised just how strange the conversation had been. At the time it felt like he was taking a measure of you, trying to understand you, but not necessarily trying to know you.
At the time you’d felt like you were on the back foot, too shocked by his sudden appearance to really learn anything about him.
But, again, you had to wonder if that was something you really wanted. After all, he was a vampire and there was still so much that you didn’t know about their world and the way that they lived.
You fell asleep that night thinking about his dark eyes and the way he’d looked as he’d sipped your blood.
The next morning you woke with a start, realising that you'd forgotten to set an alarm the night before and you’d overslept. Not that you had any reason to wake up before midday, but you were certain that if you didn’t find a way to keep some sort of structure in your life over the next year, you were going to lose your mind.
So, you got up and got breakfast before spending half an hour on the treadmill, taking a slow walk, imagining you were on your way to the Met. Every day you were going to imagine a new place you’d be able to see in the city once your contract was over. After your walk and a quick shower, you got dressed and headed out into the main penthouse.
You weren’t surprised that he wasn’t out there - because, of course he wasn’t, it was the middle of the afternoon - but you still felt... something. Disappointment? No, loneliness.
For a few seconds your eyes caught on his door before you headed into the library.
The next few hours were spent going through his books and his record collection, looking for something, anything, that might tell you a little more about him. But you didn’t know what you were looking for, and there was no way of telling which of the books, if any, held any real sort of value to him. Dorian Gray, you guessed, had to mean something because he’d noticed it was missing from the shelf, but there was everything from the classics to more recent books, spanning almost every genre you could think to name.
(Though you did have to wonder if he’d purchased Dracula before or after being turned.)
Your search for clues seemed fruitless; you couldn’t even begin to guess his age from his record collection. There was everything from classical music to records that you knew were only released last year. Everything was too eclectic. Normally eclectic was something that you liked, you hated the idea of being stuck with only one genre or type or music or book, but it was frustrating how little you’d been able to discover.
What made it worse, you came to realise, was that he’d been able to read you as easily as he might read one of his books. He’d only had to look at you to understand that you’d taken this job to get away from something.
But you weren’t going to let your mind wander to thoughts of home.
That evening you sat and waited on the sofa realising for the first time that you could get an amazing view of the sun setting over Central Park and the city from there. You’d brought the battered copy of Dorian Gray with you, but every time you tried to focus on it, you found yourself distracted by the view.
To your disappointment, the clock struck 9pm and Mr Russo still hadn’t appeared, so you made your way back to your room.
It was silly to feel disappointed, but you weren’t used to feeling so completely alone. Back home there had always been someone around, even when you wanted nothing more than to be alone. And, the rest of the time, you’d had social media to slake your thirst for connection and companionship. Now there was nothing but the walls of the penthouse, TV and Mr Russo’s collection of books.
The next day passed similarly; you got up, you had a little walk on the treadmill before showering, then you picked out your outfit for the day. Then you headed to the library and started to make you through Mr Russo’s vinyl collection, listening to some of the albums that grabbed your attention, keeping the volume down in case the vampire was sleeping in his rooms.
That was the thing that was really starting to bother you - you didn’t even know if he was home. There was no way of telling if he was just beyond the door to his room, or if he was even in the city. Not knowing just made the loneliness more acute.
That evening, after you’d eaten and drawn blood, you found yourself on the sofa again watching the sunset, his book on your lap and a couple of the muffins you’d made, sitting on a plate on the table. Sugar seemed to help after drawing blood, though you weren’t sure you’d ever get used to it.
“Making yourself at home, I see,” his voice pierced the silence so suddenly that you started.
You turned from the window quickly, to find him standing by his door, smiling and very obviously impressed with himself.
“How long have you been stood there?” Not even trying to disguise the shock or annoyance in your tone.
He didn’t answer, instead he started towards the kitchen, grabbing himself a glass before retrieving today’s blood from the fridge.
“It’s quite the view,” he stated, his back to you, “I suppose someone should appreciate it.”
“You mean you don’t?” Curious. Why bother having a penthouse like this if he didn’t care about the view?
“Looking at the sunset isn’t exactly enjoyable for vampires,” he shrugged, turning and making his way towards the sofa.
“I thought the windows made the sunlight safe for you?” Or maybe you were just being stupid. You hated how little you know, how little you’d learned before taking the job. And, now, without the internet, you couldn’t even try to learn about it.
“They make it safe, yes,” he stated, sitting down, not directly next to you, but much closer than he had been the first time you met. “But seeing the sun and knowing that I’ll never feel its warmth on my face again, makes it a little unbearable.”
“Oh. I’m sorry.”
You didn’t expect that to get a laugh.
“You apologise a lot for someone who hasn’t done anything wrong yet.”
Yet? You weren’t sure what that meant, but you didn’t think it wise to ask. As far as you were concerned, you weren’t going to do anything wrong while you were there.
“It’s just how I was raised, I guess,” you shrugged, your gaze dropping to his glass, to your blood.
Mr Russo gave a hum, his gaze still fixed on you, looking right through you. It was enough to make your heart beat a little faster, even though Lissa had warned you about such things, but controlling it was easier said than done.
“Are you still settling in?” He asked. “I know that all of this can take a while to adjust to.”
“It’s -” you started and stopped, wondering if it was wise to be honest about it, “- a little lonely. I’m not used to going for days without someone to talk to. Normally I’d at least have the dog, but...” you trailed into a sigh, reminding yourself that this was what you agreed to.
“I see,” he nodded, face offering the slightest slither of sympathy. “I’ll do what I can to help with that.”
Silence fell for a few moments before his eyes dropped to your lap, to the book that you’d started to tightly grip at some point after his sudden appearance.
“Are you enjoying the book?” He asked and you looked down, noticing how white your knuckles were.
“Yes,” your cheeks started to warm, “very much.”
Your fingers flexed, releasing your grip on the book and, instead, you pressed your hands flat on your lap.
“Have you read it before?”
“No, it’s not -” you paused for a second, trying to think of the best way to explain it to him, “- it’s not the sort of book that was deemed acceptable where I’m from.”
“Ah,” he nodded, still looking very amused by everything, by you. “And you’re reading it now as - what? An act of rebellion against the way you were raised? Or are you just curious to see how bad it is?”
“No, it’s not that,” you answered without hesitation, shrugging, “I always thought it was a stupid rule. People should be allowed to read what they want and draw their own conclusions. That’s the point of art; it means something different to everyone that views it. And I don’t like being told how to feel about things.”
The amusement on his face slowly started to turn to something a little more genuine, something a little more interested.
“What part are you up to?”
“He’s going to ask Sybil to marry him.”
He gave the slightest of nods. “And what do you think about that?”
It was a strange question, but perhaps that was because you weren’t used to people wanting to know your thoughts or opinions on things. You took a slow breath and he didn’t pressure you, giving you a moment to get your thoughts in order.
“I think it’s a bit soon. He hasn’t really known her very long and he seems more infatuated with who she is when she’s on stage than her as a person, but...”
“But?” He prompted gently.
“If he loves her half as much as he thinks he does, then maybe they could be happy together? It seems like he needs someone who’ll love him, someone who he can love more than himself, and someone who’ll get him away from Lord Henry.” Even though you were perfectly happy with your opinion, you still felt your cheeks warming again.
“You think he needs love?” Another unexpected question.
“Well... doesn’t everyone?”
“Do you think he really deserves it?”
“Does anyone?”
He paused for a second, looking ready to say something before obviously changing his mind. “So, do you believe in love at first sight? Like Dorian falling for Sybil?”
“I -” you faltered, looking down at the book on your lap, trying to escape the dark depths of his eyes for a moment, “- I don’t know. I find it hard to believe in anything I’ve not experienced myself.”
“You’ve never been in love?”
“I’ve never felt love at first sight,” you avoided the question, forcing yourself to look back up. “Have you?”
“No, not at first sight.”
At that, he seemed to relent, falling silent and letting his gaze drift towards the window again, lifting his glass and taking a sip. You reached for a muffin, almost gasping as his cold fingers suddenly wrapped around your wrist and pulled your arm towards him. Your lips parted, ready to ask the obvious question, but it fell dead on your tongue when his thumb ran over the bruising at the crook of your arm from drawing blood. He stared at it for a second before his eyes returned to yours.
“Do I need Lissa to come and help you draw blood in future?” He asked, and you couldn’t tell if he was concerned or annoyed.
“No, it’s fine,” you gave a gentle tug against his grip, but he didn’t let go. “I just bruise easily. I didn’t even notice it.”
His fingers tightened a fraction.
“While you’re here, you’re my responsibility. I hope you understand that.”
“That’s not -” but he wasn’t finished.
“If anything was to happen to you, it would be my fault. I need to know that you’ll be more careful in future.” There was an edge to his words, something that made your stomach knot. Did he think that you were incompetent, that you couldn’t do the job? Or was he just worried  that he’d be blamed if something happened to you?
“I’ll be more careful,” you told him but, still, he kept hold of your arm, thumb hovering just above the bruising, a ghost of a touch that made your heart race.
“I might be your employer, but you should understand just how much power you have in this arrangement,” his voice turned almost soft as he let you go. Before you could even think to ask what he meant, he’d drained his glass, placed it down on the coffee table and was heading towards the elevator. “I’ll see you tomorrow.”
“Yes, Mr Russo,” the words tumbled out of your mouth almost automatically, not sure what else you were supposed to say.
“You can call me Billy,” he told you as the elevator doors slid open and he stepped inside.
And, then, he was gone.
Again, he’d left you with more questions than you ever thought you’d get answers to. You wanted to feel frustrated, annoyed even, at the way he breezed in and out of conversations, as if you were a plaything, just there for him when he was bored, but all you could think about was his touch.
His hand had been so cold, like death’s icy grip and, when you looked down, you found your arm was covered in goosebumps.
Tomorrow, he’d said. He was going to see you again tomorrow. (Probably because you’d complained about being lonely.) Perhaps you’d be able to learn a little bit more about him, perhaps you’d be able to ask him what he meant when he told you that you had power here.
Before returning to your rooms for the night, you took a moment to move his empty glass from the table, rinsing it out in the sink and returning it to the cupboard where it belonged. The rest of the evening was spent trying to concentrate on reading, in part because you were invested in the book, but mostly because you wanted to have something to talk with him about tomorrow.
But, again, you found yourself distracted; by the conversation you’d had, by the things he’d said and the way he’d looked when he said them and, most of all, by the way his touch had felt on your arm.
It was silly. Ridiculous. You put it down to being trapped indoors for the last ten days and you having spoken to all of two people in that time. It wasn’t him. He could have been anyone and you’d no doubt have felt the same way. You were just starved for human contact.
(Only Billy Russo wasn’t human, was he?)
You kept thinking about his dark eyes and the way he laughed, the subtle way his lips curled up when he found something you said amusing. There was no shame in admitting that he was pretty.
Pretty in a way that would never fade or alter. Just like Dorian Gray.
Though, as you continued to read, you realised that that comparison certainly wasn’t flattering.
The next day passed much the same as the days before it and, as the hours ticked by, you found yourself almost looking forward to seeing him. Though you didn’t allow yourself to feel excitement, in case he disappointed you by not appearing. You stayed in your rooms until it was almost sunset.
He was already there waiting for you when you stepped out into the penthouse proper, today's blood in one hand, a pack of cookies in the other, and the book wedged under your arm.
“Oh,” you stopped so abruptly you almost fell over your own feet.
“Good evening,” he grinned.
“Good evening, Mr Russo,” you replied, still not moving.
“Billy,” he reminded you. “If we’re going to be living together for a year, you might as well call me Billy.”
“Billy,” you repeated, nodding before looking down. “I have your - I mean, I’ve got today’s -” you struggled, eyes fixed on the sealed bottle of blood in your hand, fresh and still warm.
You could feel your cheeks start to heat, not sure what the protocol was in this situation.
“I’ll take that now,” he said but didn’t move.
For a moment more, you remained frozen, feeling utterly ridiculous - and you were certain that he was enjoying watching your confusion.
“Okay, I’ll - I’ll put this in a glass for you,” he didn’t object, so you made your way to the kitchen and set about pouring him a drink.
It was hard not to feel a little horrified - this seemed as close to offering him a vein as you ever hoped to get - but you forced down the discomfort.
“I hope the long sleeves aren’t to cover up more bruises,” he said softly when you finally approached the sofa and took a seat, near him but with enough space that another person would have fit between you.
“No, Mr - Billy. It’s just been cold today.”
“Oh, I can’t say that I noticed...” because of course he hadn’t. “The thermostat is in the library, change the temperature whenever you need to.”
You handed him the glass, a shudder running up your spine when his cold fingers seemed to deliberately graze yours. Your breath caught as you watched him lift the glass to his lips, his eyes closed as your blood touched his lips and you heard the softest sound from the back of his throat. Butterflies filled your stomach and your eyes fixed on the window, watching the sky slowly turn from blue to a progressively darkening pinkish-orange hue.
Billy lowered his glass and remained silent, his eyes following yours to the window, allowing the silence to linger until you chose to break it.
“I thought you didn’t like watching the sunset?” You asked, not daring to look his way.
“It’s been a while since I’ve seen one and even longer since I had someone to watch it with,” he shrugged. “I thought I’d give it another go.”
“So, the others, the ones before me -”
“I don’t think they cared to notice it,” he cut you off. There was something clipped about his tone, something that told you he didn’t want to talk about them. His attention turned to the book and the packet of cookies resting on your lap. “Were you planning on reading?”
“Yes, or - I don’t know, maybe..." you sighed, finally allowing yourself to look at him. He gave you a questioning look, wanting you to elaborate. “You didn’t warn me about Sybil.”
“I didn’t want to spoil it for you,” a hint of amusement slipped into his tone. “Are you disappointed that they didn’t get their happily-ever-after?”
You looked at him for a moment and quickly found yourself feeling a little annoyed at the implication that you had expected it to be that easy, that you were some hopeless romantic looking for a happy ending in the most ridiculous of places.
“I’m not some naive child. I don’t know what I expected - not a happily-ever-after, but I definitely didn’t expect that,” you tried to explain. “I didn’t expect him to be so... so cruel to her.”
“She let him down, embarrassed him in front of his friends,” Billy offered, almost like he was defending it, “he was disappointed.”
“Disappointed that she no longer needed to act to feel wanted and loved, because she thought she’d finally found that with him?” You answer back, unable to keep yourself from noticing the way the glow of the sunset made his features seem softer. “He showed her what real love could feel like, then he snatched it away from her. It was cruel.”
“You’re right,” he conceded before hesitating a moment. “Maybe I should warn you that he doesn’t get any better. There is no redemption for Dorian Gray.”
“Oh,” At that you felt yourself deflate a little, an odd feeling of disappointment gnawing at your guts. While you’d told him that you weren’t some naive child, hearing that Dorian wasn’t going to get better made you almost want to give up entirely.
Again, he seemed to find some enjoyment in your simple disappointment - something that was starting to get to you.
“I take it you’re used to reading... happier stories?” He asked and you offered a shrug. “Heroes and romance and happily ever afters?”
“Books have always been an escape for me. So, yeah, I like things that I know will end well.” You answered and, for a second, you could have sworn his smile turned a little softer. “Why do you even like this book?” You dared to ask, wanting to understand why anyone could find enjoyment in such misery.
“I think you’d need to finish the book before we could have that conversation,” was all he offered before lifting his glass and, again, you heard that soft sound as he drank. Your heart started to beat a little faster. Billy carefully licked his lips, like he couldn’t bear the thought of letting a single drop go to waste. The corner of his mouth curled with amusement again. “Are you sure I’m not your first vampire?”
Your lips parted and, for a moment you couldn’t force the words past the lump in your throat. You couldn’t tell if he was teasing or if he really wanted to know, just like you couldn’t tell if it was his intention to make you feel small. But he did make you feel small, he made you feel like you didn’t understand the world you’d found yourself in; like you didn’t understand vampires or the job you’d agreed to, and like you were too naive to understand his taste in literature.
“No. You’re not,” you answered tersely, trying to hold back your annoyance. “You’re just the first one that I’ve let drink my blood.”
“Good,” he replied without hesitation, seeming to completely ignore your change of demeanour.
“Good?” What was that supposed to mean?
He shifted, turning so he could face you properly, his foot knocking against yours as he did.
“Good,” he repeated, the corners of his lips still pulling upwards. “If anyone else had tasted your blood, I doubt they would have been willing to let you go so easily.” He licked his lips and your heart continued to stutter in your chest. His eyes closed for a moment, concentrating on the sound before muttering; “like a hummingbird...”
You didn’t dare move, even though every fibre of your being was screaming at you to pull away when his hand reached for you, fingertips ghosting down your cheek to your neck coming to rest above your rapidly pulsing carotid artery. Frozen, you sat there, his hand on your neck and his dark eyes seeming to stare right into your soul.
Does my blood really taste that good? You wondered.
“It does,” he answered and you realised that you’d spoken the question aloud.
Something prickled in the back of your mind, a warning you’d been given a long time ago, about how some vampires could trick you and control you, how they could bend you to their will. But, you couldn’t tell if that was what this was, or if you were allowing this because you wanted it, because you wanted to understand. Regardless, you didn’t move. Even as he licked his lips. Even as he leaned closer.
“What does it taste like?” You heard the question but it took you a few seconds to realise that it had come from your mouth.
“Like sunlight and innocence,” he muttered softly, “sweet, like warm honey. Like life...”
Closer and closer, the cold press of his fingers on your neck sending a shiver down your spine, and a heat in your belly. Your thighs gently pressed together. He made it sound so wonderful, so romantic, like it wasn’t some strange and sordid thing. He made you feel special, made you feel things that you weren’t sure you’d ever felt before.
Before you could even consider the possibilities of what might happen next, he was pulling away from you, and you very quickly returned to your senses, taking an uncomfortable breath.
“What -” you started to ask, needing to know if he’d done something to you, if he’d been trying to control you, but he was already on his feet draining the last of your blood from the glass.
“I’m afraid I won’t have time for one of our little talks tomorrow. I have a meeting just after sunset,” he explained and your eyes followed him as he first moved to the kitchen to put his glass in the sink, then started towards the elevator. He paused once he’d hit the call button. “Keep reading the book. I’m intrigued to know what you’ll think of the ending.”
“Yes, Mr Russo,” the words tumbled clumsily from your mouth, an automatic response to the man who was your employer, wanting to regain some sense of propriety.
“Billy,” he countered. “Goodnight, little hummingbird.”
The doors slid shut and you were alone again.
You didn’t move for at least a minute, your head spinning. A hand rose to your neck touching where he had touched you, your skin still feeling cold and prickled with goosebumps. Looking down, you realised that your thighs were still clenched together.
Gathering the book and the untouched packet of cookies, you quickly made your way back to your bedroom, locking the door behind you.
End Note : Thank you so much for the wonderful response to the first chapter of this story! I hope this lives up to expectations. I'm already really enjoying writing this one. Also, sorry as always that I'm constantly so slow at responding to comments, I'm trying to get better at that
Let me know if you'd like to be tagged in future chapters! If tagging doesn't work for some reason (aka Tumblr being dumb) I post most Fridays around 7:30 gmt.

First time (nanami x fem!reader)
First time writing smut. It's mostly soft sex and nanami brainrot. Could be considered as the continuation of the eyes dont lie fanfic but you dont need to read the first part to understand this.
Tumblr media
You lay there, in the arms of your boyfriend, Nanami Kento after making love for the first time. It started when he walked you up to your apartment after a long day at work and you proposed him to stay over. And the following actions led to a soft makeout. He laid you on the bed and his eyes were the one asking for your consent. You slowly nodded, your heartbeat fast as fuck.
He kissed your neck while unbuttoning your shirt. Slowly moving down to your chest, he quickly unbuckled your bra, making you a tiny bit impressed. He then removed the skirt you were wearing and tossed it to the floor. But unlike your previous partners, he was way more gentle and cared a lot about your comfort. You lay in the bed, watching as he opened his shirt's button too, your hand slowly moving towards his rock hard abs to caress it. You could see how red he turned and it was adorable.
He then kissed you again, him on top of you, your legs wrapped around his bare torso. He nibbled your neck and you could feel his slight smile against the skin of your neck. He moved on to your chest, kissing and fondling it. He was so graceful with his movements, as if your body was made of glass. He wanted to take it slow but he couldn't resist you and those love filled eyes of yours. He moved to your legs, leaving a trail of kisses in your inner thighs, eye contact being a must as he does so. He could make love just by his eyes only. Before taking off your underwear, he again looked at you to ensure you are not feeling forced. These little gestures really made you fall in love again. He made his way to your pussy, eating you out, stimulating your senses. His hands held your hands as the noises filled the room. Your eyes rolled at how good he was.
His hand searched his wallet for a condom as you stared at him, slightly panting as he made sure you reached your orgasm just by using his hands and mouth. He put on the rubber and before entering, he kissed you and said, "If it hurts at any point, tell me to stop." He slowly rubbed his dick against your slits and entered you. A gasp left from both of your mouths. He waited for a few seconds for you to adjust. He started thrusting, moving inside you slowly at first. You let out a moan and you could see his ears turning red. At this point, one thing you could understand that he was pretty vanilla or maybe he was just holding back. Either way, the way he stretched you out, his slow but deep thrusts hit your gspot and him stimulating your bundle of nerves, he totally knew how to treat a woman. He was kissing your shoulder as he switched positions. From missionary to you being on your stomach, the bed creaking and him whispering sweet little praises about how beautiful you looked, how well you took him, how much he loves you, your entire body turned red and voice hoarse as you felt your orgasm rushing.
"I-i'm cummi-" your breathing intensified as you cummed yet Nanami was pumping inside of you and in just a few seconds he cummed too. He fell on the bed next to you and looked at you before smiling.
He took you to the bathroom and turned on the bathtub. Your legs were shaking slightly as you sit on the bathroom. Meanwhile he cleaned up the bed and you entered the bathtub. He joined you afterwards and you two took a shower, filled with kisses and laughter.
He made you dinner too and after eating, you two sat down to watch a movie. But a few minutes into the movie, he fell asleep, his arms around you as he looked awfully adorable. You were truly lucky to have him

hongjoong
Tumblr media
he had just come home from a 2 month tour. literally felt like hell for both of you. hongjoong felt like he couldn’t properly focus on his work , he missed you in more ways than you wouldve ever thought. but now he was home , in your arms. you cooked his favorite meal , and showered together , and put his favorite movie on, but he wasn’t interested in that. he was eyeing you like a piece of meat. take a picture , itll last longer. you said to him as you turned to him. im not interested in the movie anymore baby, i want you. i need you. please i just wanna make up for lost time. he said, need was dripping like honey in his voice. you felt your cheeks heat up. this was a first, usually you would be the one who was desperate for a touch. but he seemed like he would explode in the next 2 seconds if he didnt feel some sort of you. ive been on the road too long , tonight i wanna have good fun! he said as he pushed you down on the couch.
after playing catch up , you were left with drool coming from the sides of your mouth , legs shaking , and hongjoong still wanting more
Tumblr media
seonghwa
you pace to get ready , seonghwa is coming home today. normally you would be happy, well you are happy that hes coming home, and he’ll be able to touch you the way youve been trying to touch yourself. but thats what your scared about. see prior to this , you broke one of his rules. absolutely no touching unless 1. youve asked and 2. hes given you permission. you were on the phone with him, and hes busy talking about how excited he was to see you, until you let out a small moan on the phone. what was that? he asked. oh..uh..nothing! you said. i hope my baby isnt touching themselves without daddy’s permission. he teased, he knew you were touching yourself to his voice. so he told you that he was going to punish you for breaking a rule. and thats how you are in this situation now. just then the door opens, revealing an angry and horny seonghwa. he only stepped forward to close the door behind him. his eyes burning holes through yours. oh…hey baby… you said trying to ease some tension. is that my name? do you need me to remind you honey? does daddy need to teach you a lesson and punish you? he said in a teasing low tone.
after that, you were covered in love marks, tears , sweat , legs are shaking hard from the times hes made you cum over and over. but after it all, he still kissed you and gave you the best aftercare ever, and even told you about the things hes seen while on tour until you fell asleep in his arms.
Tumblr media
yunho
normally, yunho doesnt make the first move. but being away from you for 2 months really drove him crazy. you and yunho were supposed to be playing a board game. but as you were moving your peice, you kinda realized that the game was no longer yunhos interest. his eyes were on yours, eye fucking you. he wanted to fuck you as soon as he stepped in the house. but he dared himself to see how long he can go before actually losing his mind. you okay? you asked. he nodded lightly then stood up to walk over next to you. he started to kiss your neck leaving marks on you. fuck i cant hold back anymore. yunho moaned out as he laid you down. he leaned over you and started kissing you. soon it turned into a lazy makeout. then you started to thrust your hips forward for an ease in the ache between your legs. fuck baby please. please let me make up for lost time. he said as he looked in your eyes. it only took a nod for him to go absolutely insane.
afterwards, he cleaned you up. did you still wanna play the game? you asked. not really , but i do wanna play with you again. he smirked. one hell of a night for both of you.
Tumblr media
yeosang
although he has a reserved and calm demeanor, on the inside yeosang knew he has too pent up to be calm. there was a welcome home dinner for him. his parents and yours all at one table, welcoming yeosang home from his tour. it literally took everything in him to not kick everyone out and have his way. the way you looked as you took a sip of your drink, the way you would lick your lips clean, it drove him up the wall. excuse me. he said as he excused himself out of the room. he went to the bathroom to wipe his face. he had to do something to distract himself. just then you opened the door and the. locked it behind you. you want it as much as i do dont you? he said. you just stepped forward and kissed him. it didnt take long until he was stripping himself and stripping you too. you both started to feel on each other. then he bent you over the sink, and forced you to look in the mirror.
after that you walked out, both parents gone. but there was a note. ‘if yall are gonna fuck, at least have the decency to give us the boot.’ both of you visibly embarrassed but laughed it off later.
Tumblr media
san
you and san were just chillin on the couch. tv was background noise at this point. both of you wanted to so desperately feel each other after a long time. but the thing is, you both want to see who will cave first. san was the dominant one in this relationship so obviously hes gonna try to out wait you and make you cave first. you just wanted to push his buttons. you looked at his side profile, admiring the way his jaw would tense here and there. he took a deep breath and looked at you. you know you want me baby. he teased. you knew if you touched him first, you would not only lose a bet but you would be in for a shitload of teasing. oh san, youve been gone for 2 months, all pent up. only having to use your hand to relieve yourself. i had a vibrator. so i think you need me more. you cocked back. your reply shocked him but it also made him mad. so all he did was pull his pants down, licked his hand and started pumping himself. you cant lie, you really wanted to taste him. but youll be teased.
fuck it. you decide and replace his hand with your mouth.
you should play this game more often, you thought.
Tumblr media
mingi
mingi has just come home that day. you and him spent the entire day hugging and kissing each other. you couldnt get enough of him, you missed his scent. so when night time came, it was about dinner time. you cooked his favorite food and you even volunteered to clean the dishes. but he insisted that he helped you. so you didnt turn him down and as you washed he rinsed. you started to lean over the sink to relieve some of the pressure in your lower back. so water was splashing on you as you washed. he couldn’t take his eyes off of you. the way your hands were moving in the water, the look of concentration, it was a bit much for him. it took a lot for him to restrain himself from doing you right then. so he waited until later that night.
baby… mingi would whine. yes? you replied. please, i need you to touch me. i miss your body so much. please i cant hold back anymore. he confessed. who were you to deny him? so you started by kissing him slowly, then marking him, touching him softly. he couldnt take this slow pace much longer. baby… i cant wait. he moaned slightly. so he flipped you on your back, he starter to grind his hips into you to relieve some pressure. you both moaned at the contact. want this? please tell me you want me as much as i need you. he whined. it turned you on because of how submissive he sounded. you nodded and thats all it took for him.
after that, he started to talk about how good the tour was, how much fun he had with his bandmates, all while youre laying there with your legs shaking like crazy, and your eyes could barely stay open.
Tumblr media
wooyoung
this man just couldnt wait to hear you. wooyoung had some friends over, but he was starting to regret it. the more he sat next to you, inhaled your scent, it made him crazy. there was a movie on, and all his friends were watching it. you tried to watch, but all his teasing touches were really distracting you. sometimes his hands would slide a little too close to your pussy. you let out a loud sigh that sounded almost like a soft moan. his friends would glance occasionally, but wooyoung would tell them that it was because you were “yawning because your tired”. but soon after all the teasing, he finally touched you. he started to rub you, drawing small quick circles over your clit. you had to excuse the moans that would slip a little as a yawn or something. but when he started going faster, you couldnt contain it anymore. so you put your head in his neck, and bite down softly to quiet yourself. wooyoung could hear your small moans and whimpers as you came on his fingers.
in the dark it looked like you were resting your head in him. if only they knew about the dirty things that were happening under the cover you had across your lap.
Tumblr media
jongho
it all starterd with a facetime call. you were wearing one of his shirts. he was on his way home from the airport when you started teasing him. flashing him and giggling afterwards, or moaning his name, just teasing him to the point of no return. but when he got home, it wasnt funny anymore. all the teasing you did to him made him sexually frustrated. the smile on your face disappeared when he opened the door and said strip. you wanted to retaliate but there was no way you were gonna do that. no way you were gonna fuel his fire by bratting even more. so you did as told. bad girl, teasing me like that. jongho said. his voice was dripping with lust, making it deeper. it turned you on. im sorry, i just uh wanted to play a little. you said as your voice cracked a little. oh you wanna play? ill play with you. he said teasingly.
to make a long story short, one of the best nights you’ve had.

Tumblr media
You stared at the candle as it flickered once, twice before it finally went out. Your chin rested on your hand as you leaned with your elbow on the fully decorated table, the dinner, his favourite meal, cold and your glass of wine full, the bottle almost empty.
You closed your eyes, breathing in deeply, releasing a long sigh as you exhaled, your eyes finding the clock across the room when they opened.
00:34 am.
Your husband had officially forgotten about your anniversary.
Again.
You did not ask for much. You knew he loved his job. He was one of the best detectives in his department. But he had the tendency to get lost in his cases. Sometimes you did not see each other for days, the only memory his arms around your body as he slipped into bed long after midnight, only to be gone again by the time your alarm went off in the morning.
But you had seen his calendar for today. Your ten year wedding anniversary marked in big letters on top with dinner marked at 8 pm sharp.
You and Tim had met twelve years ago on a blind date you had both been set up on by your closest friends. The rest, as they say, was history.
You knew he loved his job, yet you couldn’t help feeling disappointed that he did not even talk to you today apart from two text messages, the messages you had sent him in the last three hours not even marked as read. Maybe he finally had a breakthrough in his latest case and forgot… No. That still wouldn’t excuse today.
Emptying the glass of wine you got up from your chair, setting the empty glass down on the table, not bothering to clean the table. You shook your head, huffing once before you went out of the dining room, switching the lights off on your way upstairs into the bedroom.
You took a quick shower, drinking a big glass of water and taking a painkiller for the headache in the morning before you went to bed, cuddling your naked body against his pillow under the covers before you fell asleep.
—-
It was almost 3 am when he came home last night. He was so close to finishing his case, he could feel it. He was in a tunnel, focused on the evidence on everything he had unravelled.
He had only seen the words ten year anniversary on his calendar as he was searching for something on his desk. The immense guilt he felt towards you immediately was so overwhelming he had to sit down for a moment.
You were the love of his life. The best thing that ever happened to him.
And he was constantly letting you down.
He couldn’t even remember the last time he had kissed you. Really kissed you. Held you. Made love to you.
Pulling the first drawer of his desk open he grabbed the little velvet box with the ring he had found for you months ago, opening it to look at the diamond ring.
When he proposed all those years ago he did not have the money to give you the big ring he had imagined for you. The ring you deserved. Even though you insisted the ring he proposed with was perfect, having only rarely taken it off since he put it on you, he wanted to give you something… new. Something bigger. Something to show you how much he loved you and how far the both of you had come.
He had found the kitchen and dining room with the evidence of the night you had planned for the both of you, feeling more guilty with every minute he cleaned the table off.
He took a shower in the downstairs bathroom, not wanting to wake you up.
And then, once he was in bed, he had watched you sleep. Your face relaxed, hugging his pillow against your chest, because he had not been here to keep you close, to keep you warm.
—-
You woke up to the sun shining in your face.
Slowly blinking your eyes open you sighed quietly, thankful that it was the weekend and you had nowhere to be. Slowly you turned to lie on your back, startled when you found Tim sitting against the headboard looking down at you. He looked tired, exhausted, guilty.
“Good morning sweetheart,” he said quietly and you sighed.
“Hey,” you mumbled, still so very tired.
“How mad are you?” he asked, and you huffed.
“Too tired to be mad. Ask again in two hours,” you hummed before you pulled yourself up to cuddle against him. His arm came around you as he slipped down to lay on the bed, pulling you against his chest. You felt his lips on your forehead.
“Don’t think you off the hook Rockford,” you mumbled sleepily, lightly slapping his chest.
“Wouldn’t dream of it,” he hummed.
“And you better be here when I wake up again to beg for my forgiveness.”
—-
It was your turn to watch him sleep when you woke up again. The clock on his bedside table told you that it was almost noon, yet you could not bring yourself to get out of bed. You were comfortable, you were warm and Tim was here and you knew you should be mad but fuck you had missed him.
You slowly turned in his arms, your chin resting on his chest as you looked up at him, your fingers tracing invisible lines over the thin shirt he was wearing.
“Still too tired to be mad?” he asked sleepily and you smiled softly as he blinked one eye open to look down at you.
“Not mad. Maybe a little sad. But I know how you get when you work and…” you sighed and he shook his head, his hand taking yours that was resting on his chest.
“Don’t make excuses for me. I fucked up. We’ve been married for ten years sweetheart. Can you believe that?” he smiled.
“Well you only have been present for eight of those years…” you teased and he groaned.
“Ouch. I deserved that.”
You hummed before you kissed his chest, just over his heart.
“I love you,” he mumbled and you smiled.
“I love you too,” you pulled yourself up to kiss him. His arms wrapped around you, pulling you closer as he deepened the kiss, his hands running under the covers and up your naked back.
“I…. I think I know how you can make it up to me….” you mumbled against his lips and he smiled.
“Yeah?” he asked. You nodded, sucking his bottom lip between your teeth as his hands wandered down your body, pulling you on top of him so you were straddling him. Your hands came to rest on his chest as you pulled yourself up, the covers slipping from your body, looking down at him with dark eyes.
“How did I get so fucking lucky?” he asked himself and you grinned down at him as he pushed himself up, his lips kissing up your neck. You closed your eyes, tilting your head to the side to give him more access. Your hand pulled at his shirt, before you slipped it off his body, throwing it to the floor.
You could feel him hard beneath you, only the boxers he was wearing separating you two.
“Tim…” you moaned, your hands in his hair as he kissed himself down, his lips closing around one of your nipples, sucking softly. You slowly moved your hips on top of him, grinding against his hard cock.
“I can feel you soaking through my boxers. Fuck…” he groaned, biting into your breast, marking you. His hands were on your ass, his fingers digging into your soft flesh as you moved on top of him.
“Fuck baby….” you arched your back, searching for some friction. Some relief.
“Need you,” you whined, kissing him hard. One of your hands went down between your bodies, pulling his cock out of his boxers, your fingers wrapping around his length.
“Sweetheart….” he closed his eyes, his forehead falling against your shoulder. You gathered some saliva in your mouth, letting it drop between your bodies, making him groan as it landed on his cock before you slowly began to pump him.
He looked up before he brought one of his hands up, two fingers dipping into your mouth before he slipped them between your bodies, finding your clit.
“Shit, you’re soaked,” he hissed, his fingers slipping between your folds, two fingers entering you slowly, moving deeper and deeper.
“Think you can take my cock?” he asked, his voice hoarse.
“Please,” you whimpered.
You let go of his cock, pushing yourself up as his fingers pulled out of you, lining his cock up against your pussy, before you slowly sank down on him.
You closed your eyes, parting your lips as you let your head fall back, feeling every inch of him enter you until you were sitting on his lap with his cock deep inside of you.
“Look at me,” he hummed and you opened your eyes, looking down at him.
“I love you,” he said, tears in the corners of his eyes. You smiled, your hands coming to rest on his cheeks before you kissed him.
“I love you too,” you smiled against his lips.
“I have something for you,” he said and you frowned.
“Now?” you chuckled.
“Yeah. Cause if you move right I will cum immediately. I need a second,” he groaned and you giggled. He reached behind him, blindly searching for something until he hummed and you sucked your bottom lip in when you saw the little velvet box in his hand.
“I’m sorry I wasn’t here yesterday. And I can’t promise it won’t happen again. But I’m… I will try. Because you deserve the best version of myself. You… I just love you so fucking much and I want to do better,” he said and you kissed him again.
“I knew what I was getting into when I married you, baby. But I won’t complain if you decide to maybe be home a little more in the future,” you winked and he chuckled.
“Deal,” he said, kissing your nose.
He opened the little box then, making you gasp as you saw the beautiful ring inside of it.
“I wanted to give you a little upgrade for our ten year anniversary,” he said carefully, watching your reaction. You were speechless, looking at the ring and at him. He had joked about giving you a diamond once he could afford one but you had always told him that you do not need diamonds. You had him, and that was enough.
“Baby…” you whispered.
“Can I put it on you?” he asked. You nodded. He took your hand, pulling your wedding band and engagement ring off before he pulled the new ring out of the box and slipped it on your finger, followed by your wedding band. Bringing your hand up he kissed your fingers and you felt a tear run down your cheek as you looked at your hand.
“It’s beautiful,” you whispered in awe.
“I’m glad,” he kissed your cheek, his arms wrapping around your body, to get you closer, wanting to feel your skin against his. You clenched around him, making him groan.
“Am I forgiven yet?” he asked and you hummed thoughtfully.
“I don’t know Mr. Rockford. Diamonds are great but….”
“But?” he grinned.
“An orgasm or two would maybe make me forget about spending our anniversary alone…” you said.
“And breakfast after,” you added, making him grin.
“Pancakes,” you said seriously.
“You drive a hard bargain, Mrs. Rockford,” he said. You shrieked when he manhandled you, managing to stay inside you until you were laying on your back with him hovering above you.
“But I accept,” he winked, before he began to move.

adding to @rachalixie 's thoughts on sleep talking minho because sleepy min never leaves my mind but:
— minho confessing in his sleep
classic one bed trope. your heart is already beating out of your chest just thinking about sleeping mere centimeters away from him. it's all that's in your head as you rinse off and get ready for bed. once you step out of the shower, your best friend is already fast asleep on one side of the bed. thankfully he's facing the other way or else sleeping would be hard when there's an angel lying next to you.
that doesn't help, you figure out when your eyelids flutter open for the nth time. not even you also facing away from him helps. because you know he's just there. you're not sure if you're going insane or if you can really feel the warmth radiating from his body behind yours. or maybe it's just you being nervous resulting in your body temperature rising.
he must be so peaceful, sleeping soundly while your head races with thoughts of him in the middle of the night. act normal, you'd told yourself when he looked at your face; waiting for answer after he'd asked you if you were okay with sharing a bed. well, it can't be helped now, it's just one night. is all you say, hoping you didn't sound too enthusiastic about the situation.
it's just one night. one long night it seems. one more night of keeping your feelings for minho at bay. sometimes you feel shitty about it, how you fell for your best friend in the first place. he may be so kind and soft spoken and funny and thoughtful and smoking hot, but he was still your friend. don't make it weird, your brain tells you.
sure he's nice to you but it's because that's who he was. sweet minho that you couldn't help but develop a massive crush on. minho that probably didn't think twice about the effect he had on you. minho that definitely did not see you as more than a good friend.
"i like you."
your heart stops. breath stuck in your throat and eyes wide, you feel a cold shiver run down your spine at his voice. minho. who was supposed to be asleep. he... what?
is he talking to you? maybe he's not. maybe he'll elaborate. yeah, you should just breathe and stay silent.
then he calls your name.
shit.
"hm?" is all that the courage you mustered up in a few seconds lets you utter.
"said i like youuu..." he whines, the way he drags his voice drags a metaphorical dagger across your chest. it burns, not even knowing if he's fully conscious. he didn't have any alcohol before sleeping, so it can't be that.
"why aren't you answeringgg...?"
that's... maybe you should turn around. it doesn't sound like he's talking to you, or anyone at all. he's also never this frustrated when addressing you, nor this loud. when you do, his back is still facing you. is he... sleep talking?
"too long... i've waited... don't wanna be friends i saaaaid..." he says like a fussing child. you can see him shaking his whole body "no" as he say that, kicking his feet as well. okay, he's definitely sleep talking, you can tell now. but maybe, just maybe, that was what he's been wanting to say all this time. maybe it's been plaguing his thoughts so hard that it also extended to his dreams and sleeping habits. that doesn't sound insane at all, does it?
minho mumbles some incoherent sounds as he tosses and turns to face you, long brown locks fanning his face and covering his eyes.
"kimchi jjigae... is what i wanna eat..." he rambles some more— much quieter now, face smushed against the soft pillow, lips pouted and cheeks puffy.
you want to punch him. make him pay for the way he makes your heart do cartwheels while he now peacefully moves on to dream about fucking kimchi stew. heck that confession was probably for it as well.
sigh.
it's just one night. one night of trying to not go absolutely feral over your endearing best friend.

lazy sex
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
- pairing: bf!bang chan x reader
- genre: non-idol!au, smut
- summary: you guys were staying at a hotel because of skz's concerts. he went to practice w the boys till very late at night and u were supposed to wait for him but u didn't realize that u fell asleep until he arrived.
- warnings: +18, minors do not interact, explicit smut, established relationship, softdom!bc, protected sex, missionary, riding
a/n: so this is my first post in English (and smut) ever.. English is not my first language so please correct me if I'm misspelling anything, thx:)
Tumblr media
he took off his mask and the sweater he was wearing. took a shower and put on a t-shirt and some boxers on. it was a warm night. he got inside the bed u were lying on and hugged u from behind. his hands slid around your waist and that's when u started waking up. you felt his hot (and a little agitated) breath in ur neck and as soon as u woke up fully u turned around to face him and, still w ur eyes closed, u hugged his neck while saying w a sleepy voice "hi" "hello y/n" he giggled a little "how was ur day babe?" you asked "good.. we started a new choreography today.. Hyunjin got sick so he wasn't there. what ab yours?" and he pulled your body so now the distance between you two was just a few millimeters. "good i guess.. pretty boring" "hmm?" he said.
you gave him some pecks on his mouth and he intensified the kiss. it was a slow, loving kiss. he tenderly caressed your body. he touched your back, waist and ur hips, so damn slowly.
u were only wearing some panties and an old t-shirt of his. he grabbed your ass and put you on top of him so you could start to press your already wet cunt on his clothed half-hard member.
both of you slipped your hands under each other's shirts. you were caressing his abs, he was squeezing your boobs. with one hand he took care of your right tiddie and with the other one he rubbed your clit using just one finger. you groaned a bit so he just couldn't wait no longer and took off your wet panties. he pulled out his cock and pressed it against your pussy. you moaned again asking him to put it in and before doing it he took a condom from his night-table, opened it and put it on. he tried to slide it in slowly but it got in pretty quickly due to the wetness dripping from your core. you hid your face in the crook of his neck and relaxed your body letting almost all of your weight lay on him.
u started moving your ass slowly up and down. he sigh and laid his head down on the pillow. he was so hard and you could feel all his long and thick length inside of you. he moved inside your velvety folds from under your calm body, then stopped for a while, caressed your hair twice and pecked your head before you got up sleepily and tell him "do you wanna get on top babe?" "sure" he whispered and helped you to position himself on top of you.
he moved his hips back and forth at a slow pace and kissed your lips calmly. you wrapped your legs on his hips so he could go a bit faster and you started to let little moans out without opening your lips completely.
you moved away a little so you could admire his beautiful face with loving eyes and smile. he smiled back and kissed you shortly before asking you "can I go a little faster?" "mhm" you nodded.
it felt soo good that u didn't want to end the moment so when you felt that tight knot forming on your lower belly you kinda told him to stop by pulling him by his t-shirt. he noticed your insides clenching around him before so he got a little confused. "anything wrong?" he stopped his hips and asked concerned. you shook your head sideways in denial and u found so adorable the fact that he got worried so u gave him a little smile and said "no, i just... i don't wanna cum yet" "oh.. okay babe" he slowed his pace and after a while he asked like an impatient little kid "can i make u cum now?... please?" his round eyes warming your heart unwittingly "sure babe" and he quickened his pace gradually until you were a moaning mess again. you were so relaxed and comfortable that u almost didn't realize u were coming undone again. you shut your eyes tight and then you bit your lower lip. u took a big breath before cumming on his cock.
your facial expressions plus the feeling of your tight pussy clenching so hard around him made him cum too.
after a few seconds he layed down on your boobs and you caressed his hair while u two closed your eyes. u were about to fall asleep (and u bet he was too) when you realized u had to (at least) get ready for bed and get clean. "baby... chris" "hmm?" he groaned but he read your mind before u could start talking again "let's get clean tomorrow.." "babyyy c'monnnn" "y/nn I was about to fall asleep" he complained while he got up from your chest and looked at you with a pout and sleepy eyes. you looked at him while he rubbed his eyes, he knew u weren't going to give in so he took his now soft dick out of your insides and took off the condom, made a knot with it and threw it in the trash. meanwhile, u took some clean panties from your suitcase and put them on for going back to bed where he was already waiting for u all covered in blankets.
u found that picture so cute. u stared at him for a couple seconds and then u got inside the blankets and cuddled w him. he gave u a little peck on the lips and snuggled into your neck. u fell asleep w a smile on your face knowing that u loved so so much the boy that u were sharing your life with.
